SHARON & SANDI, I do the same thing as you, when something seems to be wrong with our cam, I occasionally go to OC to see if they are having a problem...then, I have to read EVERYTHING just for the heck of it:)
Sandi, I think Kay had live cam up when she saw the HP. I never lost my cam except for the usual time-outs yesterday. Glad your son's skiing expedition was a good one. Was he at Mont Blanc? That's the only one whose name I can ever remember! Wishing for word on Bella soon.
Well, Dr.s office still hasn't made progress with the med situation, but now say they have samples they will give me until they get it straightened out. Waiting for radiation place to call to make sure it starts tomorrow....if so, I need to make a trip in today to pick up the med.
Bill was here a little bit ago and I got my pre-treatment hug and kiss.....and my Christmas present!
Okay, radiation definitely starts tomorrow. Just have to wait for time---working it around my apptmt. with the orthopedist. Since I can't have anything DONE to my knee anytime soon, I'm hoping he can give me some type of brace that will help.
So, Lynn, what was your Christmas present from Bill? Do not leave us hanging! LOL
Took me forever to read through the blog. Golly, gee whiz, maybe I should get up earlier! No way! I think the meds for the sinuses is making me sleepy.
OMG, the wind and rain really brought down the leaves yesterday. Help, Lynn...come help with leaves!
Money, Lolly....it's always money from him! He is NOT a shopper!
Wish I could come blow leaves for you.....I already have a few places that need doing again---argh! Will have to wait until a warm day and IF I feel up to it. Hate the way the wind gathers them in bad places!
Sharon, I was LOL at the post about Shep trying to knock Belle out of the nest...(that is the supposed violence)...that person obviously doesn't know very much about eagles, and how clumsy they can be...and not all landings are perfect!
Just returned from imaging center where I picked up the dvd of my hip x-ray and report. 15 minutes from request to delivery ! All set to see the orthopedist Thursday.
WANDA, yummy menu ! I haven't had Swiss Steak in ages, makes me crave it ! God Bless you and all concerned with creating the best holiday possible for so many ! Prayers for Karla.♥
SANDI, I can understand some skepticism and wish with all my heart someone else had been on to witness it. The live cam was down and I was viewing the still and refreshing every few seconds. 1. Belle is alone and sitting in the middle of the nest. 2. She is completely covered by Shep whose wings are spread wide, standard HP position for them. 3. Upon next refresh he's off and at her head for some non-hostile beaking. 4. He moved up to 12 spot and they both just sat a while. Perhaps the OCer's would just say it was violence, but I beg to differ ! It really doesn't matter a lot in the grand scheme of things because it's too early for them to come up with viable eggs. We'll see lots of HP before getting the results we're looking for !
NBG site is interesting. There are pics, taken this month, of Daddy Norfolk and his lady. They've been there often and have been seen at all three nests in the Gardens. It will be interesting to see which one the begin to restore for use. Tracking Azelia (2009) and Camellia (2110)shows them both to be doing great. Camellia has been at NBG lately and spent last night at the entrance ! Daddy and the new mate will soon begin to send him packing, I'm sure.
I finished reading the blog and all I have to say is I LOVE YOU ALL so very much...
We have two appointments on Thursday, KAY and WANDA so prayers go for both...
DEAR LYNN on going prayers for the start of the treatment tomorrow and your knee appointment too...you will be a busy gal...I hope you put in some nap time in between the treatments in the days to follow...
PAULA good to see you on this morning and am glad your Christmas Breakfast was good with your co-workers.
I am a bit behind today, over slept... I am on my way to get ready for Yoga...talk to yo9u all when I come back...LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH...
Checked Sutton Center for the Oklahoma eagle nests. The nest at Vian already has one egg officially and a chatter today reports there are two ! Wow, so early ! No action at Sooner Lake yet.
HODA, thanks, I will appreciate prayers for the hip on Thursday, but also for a kidney assessment tomorrow afternoon. Both appts. late afternoon.♥
Seth should be out of school for the holidays as of this very minute. Tonight I'll join the family for tree trimming and dinner. This is the one year anniversary of Malcolm's entry into the family ! He didn't bother the tree or ornaments last year, but we now know we brought a sick, parasite ridden dog home from the shelter. He's a different dog today, very healthy and fiesty, so I'm wondering what he'll think of the doings this year !
LYNN, good for Bill ! Money is always in season ! I'm glad you two best friends have each other. Did you send him home with some of your freshly baked cookies ? Glad to hear the doc came through with meds and all systems are GO !
We've got some good delivery drivers in Wisconsin. The UPS guy always gives a little toot of the horn as he drives up so I know to go to the door. Today the FedEx guy, whose been made a few deliveries here the past few weeks, left two dog bones along with the package he left inside the enclosed porch. Guess he appreciates that the dogs are always so happy to see him!
Back again. Okay, everything is set.....but what a confusing mixed-up mess this whole thing is.
Ortho apptmt. tomorrow is 1:20. They can't take me for rad until 3:45. So what will I do to kill time???? Margy will be at work. WANDA---will you be at GG's???
Then starting Th. it will be at 10:15AM for a week....with the van picking me up at 9:30. Starting the 29th, I'll get a 1pm time slot for the duration. Have to fit in a trip to the oncologist every Weds. either before or after rad.....HELP! I need a planning secretary!
CAROLANNE, I think UPS, FedEx and USPS all have nationwide rules about those customer nicities. We get that same service here and in we did in AZ, too. UPS toots the horn upon arrival and departure and FedEx and the postal carriers all have dog bones with them. My granddog, Malcolm will "drag" you across the street to greet his mailman. Julie is giving him a little cash this year, but also a box of special dog treats !
Just dropping in quickly before you all send out a silver alert! Have been "crazy busy" the last couple of days. Continuing to "shovel" the house, making a second attempt at getting the kitchen floor clean, oh--the list goes on and on.
Wow, Judie!!! Darth's at the top of my prayer list, along with Lynn and Tori! Hoping to hear of good test results for him. Sure hope he's feeling well for Christmas! PRAYERS!!! So good to see you back here! VERY glad you have a bit of a vacation from the big schoolhouse.
Prayers for Bella, and hopes for encouraging news from the vet.
I see that I need to add Karla to the prayer list, too. Consider it done!
Prayers continue for Lynn as she starts treatment tomorrow!
Kay, prayers for you, too--especially tomorrow and Thursday!
Well, gotta run. So much to do, so little time! Love all of you SO much! Hope to get back here tonight, probably late. HAGD! :o]
LYNN, yikes ! I'd have to mark a calendar very clearly to keep track of all that. It's a hassle, but I'm so glad they are getting down to brass tacks on treatment.
Wow, Lynn! Sounds like you need a limo and driver! Hope it all works out with the scheduling! Maybe take a good book with you, and read. OK, Emma is demanding some attention, so gotta go. Will check back later!
Hey, Kay---definitely praying that both visits go well tomorrow for you! I DID see Bon Jovi's post last night on FB!! And they showed it on the news this morning! He is one amazing fellow and I'm SO relieved that all is well. If you don't know all about him and are interested, check CBS 60 Minutes for a marvelous interview done earlier this year. It is so wonderful that Malcolm survived his awful beginnings.
Hoda, sleeping in is GOOD! I sure won't get to do that after tomorrow for awhile.
CarolAnne, that is SO neat that the FedEx guy treated the dogs!! He's probably glad that they aren't attacking him!
LYNN, I know a bit about Jon Bon Jovi--great entertainer, very charitable, on one of Obama's councils. I'm going to go to the 60 Minutes piece. Thanks !
Oh, Kay----Bill is on a diet---no cookies for him! Plus I didn't make his fav---Choco Chip! I don't care for them, so haven't made them since he moved out!
Hi, Andy, bye, Andy! Thanks for prayers! You are a true whirling dervish!!!
Kay, the C-130's are the Hercules military transport planes---that we used to have at our Air Guard Base. Now we have the HUGE C-5's. Wonder what a 130 was doing here---making a delivery of equipment, or maybe bringing some troops home! Rough ride! I've flown in them twice---sitting on that danged webbing. Once to Puerto Rico and one to St. Croix.
LYNN, thanks for the C-130 explanation ! The airship over the nest had the putt-putt sound and could be heard approaching and leaving the area, the same way a chopper sounds ????
so.....if I can open whatever it is on my home computer....I'll print.... gee I have no idea what I'm talking about, saw copy paste and FRIDGE - that made me perk up !!!
OMG, LYNN! I could cry. That is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing that. WOW! Thank God there are wonderful people in this world who take the time and training to do something like that. AMEN!
You have to wonder what he was thinking....was he sad? Was he happy and glad to feel the wind soaring around him? Was he depressed afterward? Note the way the talons were wrapped to prevent any injury to the pilot?
Honey I'm home and how was your day LOL have the children been here LOL Waiting for Angie and Jordyn to arrive She has a performance at I think a nursing home not for sure
JUDY, only the VIAN cam is up. There is nothing going on at the Sooner Lake site so the cam is not yet up. The Sooner Lake Eagles have had a couple of bad years and are very unpredictable. We may not see them this year either.
I am busy doing little piddly jobs....all small appliances washed down. Counter clutter disposed of or put away. Now to empty out the roaster of it's non-use storage stuff!!!
I believe those Sutton cams are sun powered. The Vian and Sooner Lake sites are not close together, so don't always have the same weather conditions. They were both down all summer and don't know when they went active again. My cousin in OK says she's not had any local news about them as she usually does. She just learned from me today that the Vian cam is up and she's missed a lot. She only watches the Sutton cams and Phoebe. Can't seem to get her interested in more nests.
Yep, bowling and the bowling Christmas party was this morning. We were missing one member of our team. It seems that she has had a small stroke and is in the hospital. She was able to call and talk with or team captain, which is good.
Oh, my.....just found my iPod earbuds in with all the junk stashed in the roaster. ?????? HOW in the world did that happen?? Oops--I remember...had them here at the table to use with the computer when I was having so much trouble hearing nest sounds! DUH! Guess now I can charge up my iPod before the next scan!!
Thanks, PAULA ! The chatters on Sutton are pretty much like the OC bunch. Cousin, Joyce and I have never entered in because they are so often cantankerous.
Getting set to go to Julie's for dinner and tree trimming. Will try to check in later, but if not, have a great evening. I'll be remembering all our prayer requests !
Hello Eagle friends, It's been a long time since I have posted. Been busy with the holidays and shopping. Good to see HP going on at the nest. Won't be long now until we'll have lots to watch. My health has improved quite a bit. Am on a new med now and breathing is much better. I only have to use oxygen now when I'm active. Doctor has taken me off some of the meds too. Thats like money in the bank. lol
Just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and God Bless you all. I'll be around more as the eagles get active.
LYNN has treasures in the roaster pot!!! GREAT!!!LOL
Thanks LYNN for the one winged eagle video. Very touching...looked to me the eagle was enjoying the experience.
Very good yoga practice and people in town were cheerful everyone saying HAPPY CHRISTMAS as we passed each other...it started in the post office actually...
WANDA your Avatar is sooooo very heart warming...I love it.
It is much warmer in OK and I did see one egg and the duck meat.
I copied and pasted your posts about your appointments LYNN thank you very much for keeping us informed...sorry for a week of ten o'clock appointments and look forward for the following weeks at one in the afternoon instead...remember we are there for you and you will never go to the treatment alone we will always be with you...loving you and holding your hand and praying for you...
I have to admit I wonder if you DID take the hammer to the sewing machine!!! LOL!!! ;^)!!!
We have a bit of snow coming down but not much...speaks of a big batch on Friday...MTBR...
I have to eat and all I can think of is fruit cake!!! Better get some protein and vegetables before my fruit cake though...it is a vegan rice flour fruit cake so am curious to find out how it will taste...I enetered my name for a draw in the health food store, two huge baskets and a turkey...it was just for fun...
Very good to see RED on here...great news and am glad your health is improving....Happy Christmas to you and to your wife...may ther ebe warmth and joy and a knowing of gratitude...
Fruit cake. Funny that you should mention it, Hoda. I can't say that I liked it so much when I was growing up, but I did find a recipe that I used many years ago. Lots of pecans and things that I liked and we enjoyed it.
I stopped making it so long ago that I am sure my children do not even remember. It seems fruit cakes have a bad reputation these days.
Shirley sorry about your member of the bowling team. Glad she was able to phone someone. Keeping her on prayer list.
RED RED RED That is wonderful!!!!! It actually makes me cry. We have talked because you and Ed both had the breathing problems. I would tell you what his doctor was doing. Also about the Predisone. I am so very HAPPY FOR YOU (: I do have tears running down my cheeks. What a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!!!
Thanks for adding my bowling friend to your prayer list, DanaWV. Her name is Joan.
She was supposed to get out of the hospital today, so that is good, too. As far as I know, she lives alone, but she does have family in North Carolina and Florida. She had made plans to travel there for Christmas. I do hope they will be able to adjust plans and help her out.
I've spent 30 mins. over the toilet bowl---TRYING to scale off the blasted mineral build-up. It NEEDS blasting! Don't know why I have a water filter and softener! Geesh!
Thanks, Hoda, for "going with me" for my treatments!!! Hope that snow Fri. isn't the big one. Would sure mess up many travel plans, I'm sure.
Shirley, fruitcakes have had a bad rap since my high school days! Selling Civitan f/c's was a real fruitless endeavour!!!!! Mentioned the other day that I used to make a white, amaretto f/c which was delicious. With no nuts, of course! It did have cocnut in it.
Evening all! Red, it's nice to meet you - I am a newbie to the group, having just joined around Thanksgiving. Shirley, maybe the helicopter is at the nest trying to get footage of the THREE eagles that are currently fighting - footage for the 11 o'clock news! Bella's xrays show that there is some damage where the thoracic discs stop and the lumbar ones start. There was no bulge and nothing is herniated, but the spacing between the vertebrae was definitely smaller in that spot, and it was in the area where she jumped when she was examined last night. Without a previous xray to compare this one to, it's unknown whether she did something recently that caused the damage or whether this has been a "weak spot" for some time. She also has the dog equivalent of scoliosis; more evidence of poor breeding (like her teeth/gum problems. She is on strict confinement to one room, no steps, no toys/balls to play with, no running or jumping, for the next 3-4 weeks. Fortunately the meds she's on are keeping her pretty sleepy. Lynn, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as you start your treatment.
Going to counch to eat my soup...soup soup soup oh well it's soup time. Just as long as I am better so I can be with Mother on Christmas. That is my wish!!
WONDERFUL NEWS TO SHARE!!! Caro's BFF's Dad's lung biopsy came back NEGATIVE for cancer!!!! Whoo Hoo! PRAISE for Momster prayers, once again!!!!! God is Great!
Oh, Sandi...poor Bella. Will she hate being confined like that?? Chances are that the disc is degenerative, and swelling is pressing a nerve causing her pain. Never heard of scoliosis in a dog! Learn something new everyday. Please make sure you give her hugs and love from me and Liesl. Along with a few extra treats!!! Is she overweight at all?? It was a constant battle with Cinnamon, and Liesl gained too fast on puppy food. They put her on adult weight management food and green beans when she was about 6 mos. Holding steady now at 10#.
Sandi, so sorry for the not so great news on Bella. My "guess" would be a weak spot that was aggravated. I have seen scoliosis on rads in many different breeds of dogs, but without a doubt, the longer backed breeds are far more susceptible. Poor breeding could be a factor, but the "design" of the doxie is a huge factor as well....short legs just cannot support a long spine very well. Have they put her on Pred? Or just the Metacam? Hopefully the confinement will work! Prayers for her, and for you.
oh whew., thanks Hoda....I haven't read all the way back!
One last thought Sandi. Even thought the rads look bad, that doesn't always mean the worst. I have seen dogs with back, elbow, hip rads that make you wonder how they'll EVER function again, and yet they DO! Conversely, I've seen dogs in terrible pain in those areas and the rads don't support the degree of pain...you just never know!
Lynn, When we're at work, Bella spends the day gated in the sunroom off the living room (it's a year round room); she has a long history of "bathroom accidents" when she has free run of the house (she spent the first 9 months of her life in a kennel 24/7 with other dogs), but not when she's confined to a room. She has a bed in there and another upstairs next to our bed, so it's where she's used to being. She WILL miss her ball once she starts feeling better. She weighed almost 13 lbs when she had her teeth (she would eat her food AND Bandit's whenever she got a chance). Now, on her homemade food and with her not having access to Bandit's bowl, she's down to 10 lb. I know how important it is to keep their weight down. We'll just have to see on the long range prognosis. Lynne, you didn't know there are 2 males plus Belle at the nest? Just ask the folks on the OC forum - they'll tell you all about them!! =)
Good Evening Every Eagle Expert Buddies!!!We have to keep the masses in line, right Shar??!! LOL
Been rockin' & rollin' w/house shoveling! And I'm still standing! Got a lot done, but of course you can always think of more. Like "clean oven" is on my list. I swore that by tonight I would be able to do my nails!!Might happen. Haven't decided to do palm tree yet, but that will be another kitty group participation event!Might wait til the techie kids arrive. Merry Xmas to Red and Dianne. Good to hear your doing much better! Lynn, glad your treatment schedule is set & you'll get the meds. Prayers and xxxing of fingers and toes at appt. time! ☺♥
Lynn, the one wing eagle got to me. That was awesome!
Wow, an egg in OK. Will have to check that out tomorrow. I have told Jack I want to go to the nest in central TX again. They surely have eggs by now. Wow, can not believe we are ready for this again.
Sandi, hope the confinement and meds will make Bella feel better!
Fruitcake...my mom made the best...was not cake at all, just the nuts and fruit, with just a tad of flour and egg to hold it together...I never knew what people meant by "bad fruitcake", LOL. She used to bake them in those miniature paper cups...they kept for quite awhile. Oh, and no raisins, but she did use dates.
Well two pieces of fruit cake later and I have to not go back to the fridge tonight!!! DELICiOUS...I have never heard, ever ever ever, anything bad about fruit cake...so I am confused...It is delicious and very healthy. In England, and my American Mom also, they soak them in rum!!! I spent Christmas in the Bahamas twice in my life and I loved the fruit cake there too...
Loretta, when do the kids arrive??? You and Andy are the real whirling dervishes this week....and Paula is entering the race!
Sandi, will you carry Bella up to bed at night, or will she be alone in the sunroom? Poor girl.....doubt that she will be on the meds for the entire 3-4 week duration, right?
Hi, Lynne!!!! Hope your day was better than the last one you told us about.
Hoda, the rum would definitely help a fruitcake!! I'm sure it's the amaretto that makes mine so yummy!!! And it's not cooked in; it is APPLIED to the cheesecloth wrapping for a period of time before cutting into it! Don't remember how long!
Hello All! Everyone is so busy with holiday activities and baking and traveling. It is a wonderful time of year.
Lynn, what a schedule. I hope this all goes quickly for you and without any discomfort at all. PS- a pumice stone will remove mineral stains on porcelain and not scrath it.
Also, no other word on the NC nest. the last post was early December and not an update on the Facebook page. They are trying to get Ustream, I think, to carry the cam this year. Hope so. It was such a mess trying to view it last year.
Sandi, so sorry about Bella. Hope this treatment helps .
Hoda, wish I could do the things you do. I lopve reading about your adventures.
Red, that is wonderful news. I want that medicine!! Hope you feel better for years to come.
I know I have missed people but my memory gave out! LOL.
NC SUZAN I think the profile thing is compliments of google, because my google mail account has also changed to the same new look. Most people don't like it but google went ahead any way...so I think yes we simply have to put up with it. :(!!!
Hoda, that's a shame. I am tired of creative decisiions being made for me, Google and Facebook do not think we can make decisions for ourselves. Don't let me get started on Facebook!
Suzan, thanks for nest info....I am looking forward to a cam that I can see!! Hope they DO have more eggs than just one. Much more fun watching 2 or 3 scrap at each other! Hope you are feeling well. Check your email, please! I, too, hate the new profile appearance. DULL. BORING. GENERIC. Ugh!!
I used the pumice stone, plus a razor blade! Then I went over it all with a scratch pad thingy with LOTS of Comet. Still not great, but much better than it was. I just replaced the toilet and b/r & kitchen sinks about 7 yrs. ago.....they need it again! Maybe tax refund will cover that!
I was reading back on the blog and saw the one winged eagle. The eagle is at Dollywood and I saw it there a few years ago. It was one of the stars of their stage show. If anyone else has COPD, the new med I'm taking is Deliresp. You should ask your lung doctor about it. Thanks for all the well wishes.
Jordyn and one other little girl were the only tots that were there and so they did it all by them selves to cute and Jordyn added some moves in the end of the one performance everyone loved her I did take a video of each of the performances again and will put on you tube and then the SunrisePerformingArts page I talked to lots of parents and told them to check out last weeks that were on there
I have 144 comments to read there is no way I will get caught up tonight I need a shower yet I can't believe its this late Poor Jordyn will be sleeping in the am We stopped to eat after wards she was hungry Naturally after exerting all that energy in dance and tap

Morning, all!
Went to a Christmas Breakfast for work...yummy!
Sharon and all, I have checked the OC forum as well, for problems like cam issues, etc. I do read it...it's a great laugh!
Paula, I normally laugh too but I guess I was a little PMSing it yesterday and it just struck me wrong. All is good now! :-)
Good morning!
Got my first good laugh this morning with Paula's typo. So, the eagles were peeing? Too funny! Thanks, Paula!
Have read the paper, just finished my coffee....off to start my day.
Have a great one!
Money, Lolly....it's always money from him! He is NOT a shopper!
Wish I could come blow leaves for you.....I already have a few places that need doing again---argh! Will have to wait until a warm day and IF I feel up to it. Hate the way the wind gathers them in bad places!
Where was your breakfast, Paula?
Sharon, I was LOL at the post about Shep trying to knock Belle out of the nest...(that is the supposed violence)...that person obviously doesn't know very much about eagles, and how clumsy they can be...and not all landings are perfect!
Right, violent eagles! Bad bad boys and girls!
Wrapping completed!
I saw that, too-----mayhem and assault.....for shame!!!!
Home for lunch to check email I shopped at lunch and now back to work
Little bird playing around in nest.
Thank you Steve for the new thread.
Thank you very much for the call over.
Sharon I know how sometimes when you look at OC (which of course I know you don't usuually do)...one can't help but to gett pee-od at them over there.
Well it's Christmas they are a bunch of FRUIT CAKES LOL
Oh, breakfast was at Dutch's ☺
Gee, Paula, didn't know they DID breakfast. Buffet?? Bet it was delicious!
Getting ready to leave to go pick up the medicine.
Later, gators.
Just returned from imaging center where I picked up the dvd of my hip x-ray and report. 15 minutes from request to delivery ! All set to see the orthopedist Thursday.

Wow, I just looked out to see we are fogged in here. It's only been two hours since I returned from errands. It was rainy, but no fog at that time !
LYNN, good for Bill ! Money is always in season ! I'm glad you two best friends have each other. Did you send him home with some of your freshly baked cookies ? Glad to hear the doc came through with meds and all systems are GO !
LYNN, did you see this ?
Bon Jovi
Funny !

UPS toots the horn upon arrival and departure and FedEx and the postal carriers all have dog bones with them. My granddog, Malcolm will "drag" you across the street to greet his mailman. Julie is giving him a little cash this year, but also a box of special dog treats !
Hi, Everyone!
HAGD! :o]
Hey Lynn, copy and paste what you just posted into a notepad document, print it out and put it on the fridge!
ANDY, are you getting ready for holiday company ? Thanks for the prayers !
PAULA, but of course, copy, paste, print and post on the fridge ! How logical !
Eagle !
Shep, I think. Heard big clunk as I turned away from screen, looked back and there he was. Feet in nest cup and looking around.
LYNN, I know a bit about Jon Bon Jovi--great entertainer, very charitable, on one of Obama's councils. I'm going to go to the 60 Minutes piece. Thanks !
I SEE that Eagle Kay..
☺
Not too sure if it's Shep or Belle. Anyone ? Moved to 6 spot.
Wow.....
Poof out over the nest at 11 spot
Been so long since I've been able to watch,
I HAVE NO IDEA!! But I was thinking, Belle...
Helicopter overhead !
Loved the way the little white feathery specks went aflyin' when Eagle took off
I couldn't pick up on smudges or on the V neckline, but the tail looked like Belles.
No sound for me here...at work....
BUT
I DID see a C-130 fly over our office building 25 mins ago...don't see them very often these days
Camera timing out, had to refresh. That after I've had it up for several hours !
MARGY, educate me, what is a C-130 ?
Paula, the laptop doesn't hook to the printer!
LYNN, can you mail it to Carolyn so she can print it out for you ?
Kay, the C-130's are the Hercules military transport planes---that we used to have at our Air Guard Base. Now we have the HUGE C-5's.
Wonder what a 130 was doing here---making a delivery of equipment, or maybe bringing some troops home! Rough ride! I've flown in them twice---sitting on that danged webbing. Once to Puerto Rico and one to St. Croix.
Stupid cam had timed out....had to do a refresh---and missed the bird!
Kay, Carolyn doesn't have a working printer. I could email it to myself and then power up the PC....but I've got it written down, so no biggie!
I have a working printer if that helps any
and Thanks for taking care of the C-130 classwork education ☺
LYNN, thanks for the C-130 explanation ! The airship over the nest had the putt-putt sound and could be heard approaching and leaving the area, the same way a chopper sounds ????
so.....if I can open whatever it is on my home computer....I'll print....
gee I have no idea what I'm talking about, saw copy paste and FRIDGE - that made me perk up !!!
going to start closing down here....headed to Berkeley Springs I think....
we're all counting the minutes to quitting time !!
Hope your evenings go well, everyone
xoxo ttfn xoxo ♥
Kay prayers for you for tomorow and Thursday.
Lynn prayers for you tomorrow and ongoing.
That is some time difference. Humm
Wished I wasn't sick with this cold Lynn. I'm so sorry I can't be of more help to you.((((HUGS)))))
CHECK IT OUT!!!
One-winged Eagle
OMG -that eagle loved it. He didn't struggle or anything! He really enjoyed it!! BEAUTIFUL!!
made me cry.......and I've laways loved that song---
Kay where did you see the information on eggs at Fort St. Vrain?
LYNN, thanks so much for sharing the eagle video ! How touching !
DANAWV, I said, Vian, Oklahoma, one of the two sites covered by the Sutton Center out there. Click on the the link, please.
The nest is at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge near Vian, Oklahoma.
Mama is on the nest and there is a big chunk of red meat above and to the right of her. They are definitely expectant parents !
Thank you Kay.
Guess when I seen Vain I thought you mean't both Sutton and Ft. St. Vrain sorry.
Oh Lynn I cried watching that video. Is there anyway to put that on facebook?
Sorry my delete blue circle just kept spinning then put comment on twice.
Honey I'm home and how was your day LOL have the children been here LOL Waiting for Angie and Jordyn to arrive She has a performance at I think a nursing home not for sure
100 comments to read I'll be back

Kay, apparently, that's the remains of a duck at Vian
That's where I found it, Dana.
I shared it.
Haven't heard anything more about the nest in NC---wonder if they have a 2nd or 3rd egg? NCSuzan....heard anything more??
Hi all! Logged onto the cam just in time to hear a clunk! Just waiting to see eagles!
I love the camers at OK Vain
I heard a noise on the cam faint but I heard it
are yu all having any luck getting the other cam on on the OK EAGLE

Belle
Beautiful Belle
JUDY, only the VIAN cam is up. There is nothing going on at the Sooner Lake site so the cam is not yet up. The Sooner Lake Eagles have had a couple of bad years and are very unpredictable. We may not see them this year either.

WOW SHORT VISIT I WONDER IF THEY WILL BE BACK
Judy, I was too busy just watching to chime in; thanks for the excellent reporting!
4:52 TO 4:58 VISIT
Odd on the sooner cam about a couple of weeks ago they all were up but with distance views
Nothing written up about a second egg at Sequoyah Natinal Wildlife in Oklahama.
Thanks JudyE for the reporting. I was doing something else then heard a noise and yep eagles in our nest.
Oh dear, I have missed a visit. I have had a busy day. Trying to keep up. Not always easy.
The second egg was reported by a chatter only, Sutton has not confirmed. PAULA, when you watched the egg roll, was there only one ?
ROOAARRR! ;)
Saw earlier that there has been some HP. That is encouraging. Let's hope for more.
I just got to that part of the comments sitting here laughing I think Steve should post something don't you all???
And at least one egg in Oklahoma. Good news!
Uploading the video right now
Shirley, how was bowling today??!!!
Time to round up Hunter and take care of the evening duties--feeding pets, getting dinner ready, etc.
BBL.
I only saw one egg at Vian
I am busy doing little piddly jobs....all small appliances washed down. Counter clutter disposed of or put away. Now to empty out the roaster of it's non-use storage stuff!!!
Switching now at Vian, one egg
Ah the eagle at Sutton brought fluff, it's on top of the colorful leftover duck!
I think that's Mom at Vian now.
Cousin, Joyce and I have never entered in because they are so often cantankerous.
funny just a few seconds off between camera at Vian the one on the left is ahead of the other
the other eagle flew in at Vian
LYNN, how funny ! Treasures in the roaster !
Getting set to go to Julie's for dinner and tree trimming. Will try to check in later, but if not, have a great evening. I'll be remembering all our prayer requests !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I think Dad flew in to incubate so Mom could eat ♥
And yea Judy that nice, the diff is about 20 seconds...so you can see what's coming up on the up close cam.
Oooh, can't wait till we get an egg!
Lol Kay... Lynn has roaster treasures!
Shirley, too bad about your team mate, but GOOD that she could talk on the phone! Hope you enjoyed the party.
Wonderful news, Red! Merry Christmas!
Enjoy dinner and tree decorating, Kay!!
There's Red, the man!! So great to hear that you are doing so much better! Hurray! Merry Christmas to you and Diane, too!!!! Is she still working??
If Geula is lurking: HAPPY HANUKKAH!!!!! Of course, sundown happened there a number of hours ago!
Rain never did happen today....so much for forecasts! But it is supposed to be tomorrow now. Of course, since I have to be out running around!
Thanks for reporting the two visits...
Good evening friends... Daughters were
here all morning... then this afternoon for about an hour - son & I went to one
store to shop.... Did me in LoL
Thanks for all the nest reports.
Hard to believe that the 1st egg has been laid - hope all goes well.
Dinner is ready for The Bragg Gals
BBL
Hi Red,
So good to see you on the blog, and I am pleased that your health is better. I have enjoyed chatting with you on the Scrabble site, too.
I knew you were well enough to think of some good Scrabble words.
Could there be lightning at the nest? Maybe it was just a car light or some strange computer thing.
I am so very HAPPY FOR YOU (:
I do have tears running down my cheeks.
What a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!!!!
Susan just cringed when I mentioned baking a fruit cake. It was pretty expensive by the time I bought all of those ingredients.
New update on Caring Bridge from Robyn. Tori won't be coming home for Christmas, after all---which is wise. Tori
The lady plays in six bowling leagues. Amazing.
Helicopter at the nest.
Make that coconut!
Jo, you've become a daily shopper!!! Slow down, gal!!!
Hedgie you've become the Queen of Cleaning !!
Slow down Lynn
LOL, Shirley......news footage of the 3 eagles!! TOo funny. Hope it's televised NATIONALLY so all those folks see it!!!!!
IN PRAISES LYNN!!! Excellent news THANK YOU DEAR GOD and Thank You DEAR LYNN.
Heading for the sofa for Jeopardy. BBL.
evening all....haven't read back too far yet but,
YAY for RED!!!
And YAY for Caro's FFs Dad!!
Prayers for Joan, Shirley.
are there really THREE eagles at the nest?????????
NO LYNNE...Two eagles at the nest BELLE and SHEP...Sandi was being sarcastic...
LOL
Been rockin' & rollin' w/house shoveling!And I'm still standing!
Prayers and xxxing of fingers and toes at appt. time! ☺♥
Good evening! Great to see Red on here!
Lynn, the one wing eagle got to me. That was awesome!
Wow, an egg in OK. Will have to check that out tomorrow. I have told Jack I want to go to the nest in central TX again. They surely have eggs by now. Wow, can not believe we are ready for this again.
Finished up my shopping and did more wrapping today. I am really enjoying this week, not rushed!
Evening, all!
Home from work and the store! Gotta get wrapping tonight and make dinner grocery list, cookie ingredients list...and just the plain grocery list!
Anyone see the 2nd egg laid at Sutton? Probably at 6pm our time!
At Vian nest....
Oh Lynn, good news on Caro's friend!
No PAULA I did not see it. I visited the nest several times earlier today and there was only the one egg...did you see the second egg?
LOL.
Take care everyone and be careful out and about.
Another ps- so is this how our profiles are going to be? No fixing up?
DULL. BORING. GENERIC. Ugh!!
Posted twice. Sorry. Can't type, can't spell and can't hit "Publish" properly. LOL.
Lynn have you tried lime away?
I think the NC nest has one egg...there's a video of the 2nd egg at Vian, I'll go get the link.
Wow. You work too hard. wish I had a better treatment. Thought a pumice stone would do it.
2nd egg for Vian
Watching the video now...Dad is oblivious to the egg laying...he was chowing down!
Jack and I just finished a dinner of grilled steaks. Yummy!
!
Oh, that is funny, Paula. He is completely unaware. Love it!
Yes PAULA very funny all he was interested in was the food...yet male eagles have the instinct to incubate the eggs...I marvel as to how it works.
Paula....NC nest had one egg 2-3 weeks ago! No update since.
Yep--Lime Away is a joke! Never even fazed it.
