LYNN sorry about the lawn mower being out of juice. Too cold for the batteries from what you say. I do hope the sun comes out for you even though you said you do not have fog there...others do.
Thanks LORI for the short visit report.
SHIRLEY, I like LOLLY'S suggestion to stick your tongue out at those who are negative at the bowing alley. You are OUR CYCLONE SHIRLE!!! You can do it mentally anyway and that would make you smile to their grouch!!!
Dare I say it??? I had a superintendent who thrived on the culture of fear...Just about the time they were talking about another 20% cut in my pay, I started taking on this fear and became very irritable when ever his name was mentioned. People were making him be so very important and powerful and I was not able to relate. HERE IT COMES!!!I started to imagine him naked and it always made me laugh out loud...it diffused the power trip that was happening and it made him more like the rest of us...underneath all the appearances we are all naked...No threat. We did get the 20% cut in pay but at least I was laughing. The first time it happened I was much younger and much more serious and it was very painful...much better to laugh...
LOL, Hoda.....heard a counselor once say to imagine a person in diapers to defuse the anger!!! Good on you for finding a similar way. WOW----20% pay cut is AWFUL! Hope you didn't have to get a second job to survive that.
I missed your call over----ranted on a bit....won't bring it over, but you can go back if you missed it!
Good morning, Hoda! You handled the superintendent situation very well. Good on you!☺ Oh, and thanks for the call over! And, thanks to Steve for a new thread!
I did read your posts LYNN and hear your frustrations... At the time the cut in pay was given, the second time,60% of the town was laid off as the mine had just closed. I budgeted and made do. It certainly made a difference down the road...a total of 40% cut in pay over my career set me back on my collectible pensionable income...yet I am doing well and still laughing...LIFE IS GOOD.
JO I thought if anything would make you all leave the old thread and join me on the new thread was to tell you NAKED MEN!!! Sure enough it brought people over!!! LOL!!! Glad your appointment went well!!!
Things have gone from bad to worse for Mom. They had to put her on a BiPAP machine for breathing, which is like a ventilator with a face mask. The doctor thinks we should take her off this later and give her comfort care. They will give her morphine and make her comfortable. They will give her oxygen through a mask or canula. She probably won't last long. Pray for a peaceful transition should this be God's will. I will keep hour posted.
Lynn - you may need to use Lori's trick and hang manger from the ceiling (as though you could even think of reaching it).
Heard from Suzanne this am hr in an email. She is still clearing out old job related papers and shredding and shredding. She has taken in a Feral cat. She took him to the Vet and he is all fixed up - shots and otherwise. He hasn't yet stopped scratching and spitting and hissing! He hasn't been introduced to all her other cats - in his own room for now BUT she can pet him.
Oh, Linda, so very sorry to hear of this downturn. We are---and more importantly GOD is---with you all as you go through this phase of your Mom's life. May her passing be easy and may you all have the strength to persevere. Letting go is hard, but I think you know---and I hope understand---that this is what she has wanted for a long time. God will receive her with open arms. Love and (((HUGS))) to you all.
Linda ♥ Now is when you must call upon everything God can offer you! I'll be praying for your Mother - May she accept God graces for all she has had in this life and know she will be free from all pain and ills when she enters His Kingdom.
LYNN said it very well LINDA. Prayers to God that HE shows HIS LOVE and MERCY to your MOM and to the family much INNER STRENGTH. Thinking of you and praying...
The White Rock Eagles have done a good job with their nestorations. An eagle is perched there on a branch right now...I wish them a good season. White Rock Eagle Cam
Hoda, it was the lawn mower that was dead. Blower is electric! Bill came and went after not being able to start the mower. So I'm using the blower where I can, and he will come back later in the week to mow the bank along the road----after the rain and some drying time!! Mower is on charger until then!
LYNN I knew it was the mower and simply got confused. Thanks. Don't work too hard...lots of hot drinks to stay warm. It is cold here today too...20 degrees...and no snow falling.I am glad for my woolen sweaters. Off to yoga and errands. Be back later. Stay well and warm everyone...
Happy New Monday Thread!! Thank you, Steve! Haven't read any comments yet, but everyone is probably busy. I just took an hour break to eat & watch my soap. Now, it's back downstairs to try & wrap.
We are having more crow meetings in the 'hood! Mostly going across the street. I don't remember seeing this much activity here in past years.
HODA, you DO know this group well ! Naked men get our attention PDQ ! The White Rock eagles are gorgeous. We'll all enjoy watching them !
SHIRLEY, I never heard of such a bowling rule and sorry you've encountered some mean spirited people. I've never noticed a bowler stepping away before watching the pins drop, or NOT. Ridiculous !
LINDA, my heart aches for you, but am praying for your mom's comfort as she faces her ultimate promotion. May you and your brothers be at peace, knowing God is preparing a beautiful, pain free place for her. The family has been severely tested this year. Hope it helps to know we Momster's are with you in spirit and that you ARE loved by so many ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Dear Linda, so sorry to hear your news, but praying for your Mom and Family that God will help ease all the physical and mental pain. We are sending, love, prayers, and hugs to you. ♥
I'M done for another year! Just need to stow the blower. Forecast is now calling for snow/rain mix Weds. night....Bill may never get the banks done! Oh, well.....I ony have to look at it when I drive in and out! 5 yrs. ago I would have been freaking.....but many others don't do anything about their road frontage, so.....I'm not alone!
Maybe I will figure out what is going on with the league. Maybe I won't.
Anyway, I have found that the men practice on weekday mornings. They have been pleasant. One kept winking at me.
Would like to know what you learn about the bowling rule.
What I am hearing is that some people get distracted by seeing someone in their peripheral vision when they get ready to bowl. Hmmm, I am not sophisticated enough as a bowler to know that such a thing is supposed to bother me.
Loretta, the crow saga is interesting. Maybe Greg has some insight?? I had a lot more than usual during the summer....along with the ravens, but not much anymore. Saw a really cute cartoon in the paper today....will get on PC shortly and scan it and put it on my blog---think you'll all get a kick out of it!
Shirley, all I can say until I talk to Bill is that with so many lanes, and with so many people bowling, there is ALWAYS going to be someone on the line in one lane or another!!!! If they can't adjust to having someone else up there when they are ready to roll, then maybe THEY shouldn't be bowling!!!
Gotta tell you a funny story. Back in the old days, we (ex and I)took the kids bowling and a guy from work (who actaully was Bill's bowling mentor) was in the lane next to us. Keep in mind that my ex could have been a pro like Bill could have been. John decided he was going to tell me my mistakes and how to correct them. He had me so flustered and mad that I got careless and slipped and fell on my kiester---and fractured my tailbone! Bowling was never quite as much fun after that!
A winker, huh???? Oh, boy, Cyclone Shirley, you better check this guy out!!!! Maybe you can join a men's team!!!!
Linda I am sorry that is the news. I am glad though that you are there. May God Bring Peace To Your Mother....remember we are holding you close in our arms and God has you encircled in HIS...we love you Linda. May God Be With All The Family During This Time.^j^ ^j^
Shirley, I am ROFL! The cute puppy that you sent is now on the cot here in the office. Liesl just saw it. She is trying to reach it and is WHINING at it!! I wonder if she thinks it is her sib, Sassy???!!!!! Good thing she has short legs!!
Guess I need to go figure out what I am going to wear tomorrow. Christmas sweater/sweatshirt will need to be freshened up in the dryer after hanging for a year.
The link to White Rock should be sent to NCTC as a Big Hint!
Shirley Boo Hiss to whomever said you were to stay back whenever you rolled the ball!!! A good bowler watches that ball roll down the alley and coaches it the whole way down to that head pin. I had NEVER turned my back on a ball just rolled.... If you need me, I'll come sit in the seats behind your team and cheer them on!
It is very frustrating to try to determine who is who or which is which. Until I see HP - I will just be grateful that there are 2 in the nest! Spots and all ♥
Ha, I'm not being a good lurker today, came back just as Belle poofed. This is Shep at the 6 spot--the V is not deep enough and check that foot. Saw Belle's smudgey head as she left.
I'm so confused because in so many ways, I thought that this one looked and is acting more like Belle. It looks like a V and the eagle has been standing still for a few minutes straight and that is Belle behavior, but you all are the experts. What am I looking at on the talons? Help me with those characteristics that determine who is who.
Kay the feathers on this eagle which is Shep. Where straight across until he moved over into the wind. Belle did fly out and she was dirty lol Shep must have gotten a bath.
Two DANA's ! WV, I didn't need an answer, you pretty well just restated my opinion. MO, next time they're in the nest together check toes if you can. His are bigger and the middle toe is much longer than Belle's. Wow, that wind is stiff !
Talons (feet) Perhaps the male's is always larger middle toe than female... I wish someone could research that and let us know - I have never been that observant
Question: Do you think those spots are short dark feathers or the absence of feathers? (No prize for your answers) lol ♥
Sorry Kay should have started out by saying I agree with you. The V is like you said and is being caused by the wind. As you were also indicating. Yes you did know it was Shep.
when I checked the video at the base of the tree today there was an adult eagle in incubation posture. There were definitely not any eggs in the nest when I check it Friday, so it looks like the mom had a productive weekend. The eggs will incubate for 35 days, so we should see some hatchlings b/w Jan 8-10.
EARLY or what????? Near Raleigh, NC.....NCSuzan, IS this normal???
I think they are short dark feathers in Shep's case and will soon disappear as he's almost an adult now. JMHO Who knows ? Hornby Mom is quite mature and still has one dark feather on the back of her head--nice to have such a distinguishing mark !
Q: How can you tell the difference between a male and female adult bald eagle? A: Visually, they look identical, but as with most raptors, the female is larger (heavier and bigger) than the male. Sometimes this is clearly visible in a pair, when you see both together at the nest, but otherwise, we are just guessing. In the hand, biologists can differentiate male versus female using two key body size measurements, the depth of the bill (beak) and the length of the hallux talon, on the rear toe. These measurements are plugged in to a neat formula developed by eagle biologist Gary Bortolotti back in the early 1980's, based on numerous measurements of eagles of known sex.
Well, see I missed a visit! Cam had timed out again and it is NOT restarting with the play/pause button. Have to do an F5 everytime today for some reason.
Talon Length Both male and female eagles have four talons--three in front and one in back. The back-facing talon or hallux tends to be longer on female bald eagles.
Beak Depth The width from the top of the beak to the eagle's chin is the depth of the beak. Female bald eagles generally have deeper beaks than male eagles.
Voice The female bald eagle will often have a lower voice than her mate. Gender may be determined by comparing the pitch of two eagles.
Oh, dear....I have one VERY angry daughter. Carolyn just got off work and found out from the kids that Charlie is in the ER. He apparently called his mother this morning to DRIVE him in because he was having chest pain....and NO ONE let her know. She is on her way to the hospital, but called his mother and found out that they are admitting him.
Lynn, that seems a little early, doesn't it? The weather get quite cold here, espceially on the river. we will have to keep a close watch and see what happens.
Some always ID'd Lib by his talon & once again it has been brought up about Shep...... I said before that I just never understood it. Now what Dana found says that on the female the 4th talon is longer. Go figure......
I can't believe he is still sitting there. Every time I walk away I think he's going to be gone when I come back but he is still there. Nice to have such a long visit even though he isn't doing anything!
I don't think I've ever seen, or maybe just never noticed the lone back talon on any of our eagles. That's the one that is longer on the female according to DanaWV's info. Wonder why the differences ? Mother Nature must have a good reason.
Thanks....she used words that I don't like hearing...but justified in her anger. His family is weird. But his mother SHOULD have insisted on calling 911. It takes her close to 40 mins. to get to their house....he could have been dead by the time she got there, or he could die on the way---and then what would she have done? If he'd called 911, Carolyn would have known immediately.
NCSuzan...hoping I can get that cam this year----I couldn't last. My youngest daughter has a friend who works for ACOE who told her about it and she passed it on to me. I just hope they are wrong about their observation.
Prayers for our dear, wonderful Linda. So sorry to hear that about your Mom, Linda. Your faith is so strong and for that I am thankful. Know that God, and we, are with you in thought and prayer.
Prayers also for Buddy, Kris and Charlie. Not a good day for guys in our life.
Shirley, I laughed at your Winker Dude! Pretty funny. Next time ask him if he needs Visine or a date!
I've decided on brown slacks and a green Christmas sweatshirt for tomorrow. Last year it was black with a red sweater that had a holiday motif. Gotta change it up!
LOL, Shep says, "Oy those Dana's. One wants me to quit being a do nothing and the other is asking me to get in an impossible position. I'm outta' here !"
I'm outta here, too. Need to get an early dinner and get ready for the little concert. It's raining, no pouring and I'm not really looking forward to getting out in it. Thank goodness the kids are picking me up.
Lynn, i just read on the FB page that they are hoping to have Ustream carry the stream this year. That would certainly make viewing better but then the ads! Hope Charlie is OK.
Thanks for the bowling support, everyone. I had to go back and find Lolly's comment about sticking out my tongue. Enjoyed it! Yes, bowling should be fun.
Well two visits from Miss Belle and Mr. Shep just hung around for a long time doing nothing...Thanks for the report.
Prayers for LINDA and Kris.
I hope Kathryn makes a safe journey or finds a different route to get home, not too late.
VERY COLD OUT THERE TODAY...feels below twenty, mid teens actually to me...Good yoga practice and people are chatty and so it took me a while to come back and missed both visits. Yet it is the time of year to take the time to talk to folks and pass the cheer.
Charlie admitted to a regular room---it's on telemetry unit. His BP was high. No pain relief from nitro (probably NOT angina) so they gave him morphine and pressure went higher.
OH NO LYNN!!! I am very disturbed about Charlie's news and not telling Carolyn...what is up with that? Why would her in-laws not phone her right away?I hope she is safe driving to the hospital...is it normal that morphine is given for blood pressure...yet you said his went up??? I hope they know what they are doing...PRAYERS. How old is he?

So, hi and bye to all!
Have a great day!
I did read your posts LYNN and hear your frustrations...
At the time the cut in pay was given, the second time,60% of the town was laid off as the mine had just closed. I budgeted and made do. Love your positive attitude, Hoda!
Hey, Jim....when is your eye appointment?????
Hello again everyone! ♥♥♥ and ((((HUGS)))) to you all!

Good afternoon folks.
Hoda I love how you handle things. You are such a wise woman.
Liesl bed no way. Just new things placed were they shouldn't be. So she has to check the out. Lynn give her a tummy rub for me please.
Need to check out some comments.
Things have gone from bad to worse for Mom. They had to put her on a BiPAP machine for breathing, which is like a ventilator with a face mask. The White Rock Eagles have done a good job with their nestorations. An eagle is perched there on a branch right now...I wish them a good season.
White Rock Eagle Cam
Both White Rock eagles are in the nest and bringing branches . They work co-operatively with one another.
I want cams like White Rock!!!!!
Taking a break.....about half done.
White Rock ROCKS!!!! They are making great headway. Just saw one poof, but one is up on the branch above nest.
WE should be so lucky in the cam department!
LYNN you are out blowing leaves then??? The batteries charged up? Is BIll there already?
Grrrrr....wind is starting to blow....no-o-o-o!

Shar, don't think I overdid! Feeling okay so far. I DID take a Vicodin before I started!!! Are YOU feeling better??
It is 56° now! But breezy, so it doesn't feel THAT warm.....made my nose run!
Lillian was in the backyard one day eating a frozen dead mole and there were 4 crows in a tree above her watching her eat. I called it a molesicle!
Linda, I am so sorry to read your news. Prayers for your mother and your whole family. You have had a difficult year.
Kris just posted on Twitter:

Need to read back some...... ♥
Oh, Shar, extra prayers for Kris and his family. So sorry.....may God make this easy for him and them.
Sharon seen your post from Kris
May God Bring Him PEACE♥
EAGLE ALERT!!!
Eagle Alert one in nest
I would say Belle
From the messy head, I am going to say Belle. She was above the camera and flew into the nest.
Looks like I got home just in time!
Well I'm trying to look for her V in the white in the chin feathers
Guess I need to go figure out what I am going to wear tomorrow. Christmas sweater/sweatshirt will need to be freshened up in the dryer after hanging for a year.
That patch of dark looks huge.
Moving a little flugg around.
And Shep just arrived!
2nd fly in
The link to White Rock should be sent to
NCTC as a Big Hint!
Shirley Boo Hiss to whomever said
you were to stay back whenever you rolled the ball!!! A good bowler watches
that ball roll down the alley and coaches it the whole way down to that
head pin. I had NEVER turned my back on
a ball just rolled.... If you need me,
I'll come sit in the seats behind your

Shep move fluff in egg cup
SECOND EAGLE IN FROM ABOUT 7:00
So Belle is the one with the big splotch?
They are beautiful
I love the live feed
SEEMS TO REALLY BE WATCHING SOMETHING AROUND THE NEST
Shep must have taken a bath...now Belle needs one
Yes, Belle is the one with the big blotch. Not sure what she got into but it ain't coming off.
Belle just took off from about noon. Shep sitting at 5-6 o'clockish.
Now if we had a cam like White Rock
we would know where our eagle flew
I have taken one picture the fly out of Belle.
Now why does the wind have to part the white feathers under his chin making that V grrrrr lol
Cause if I only seen this eagle and no other I would say because of the V that is Belle but Belle has been dirtier.
It is very frustrating to try to
determine who is who or which is which.
Until I see HP - I will just be grateful that there are 2 in the nest!
Spots and all ♥
Right on Mema Jo and have you put it in your prayers for HP? lol
Sharon - prayers for Kris to find Peace
Ha, I'm not being a good lurker today, came back just as Belle poofed. This is Shep at the 6 spot--the V is not deep enough and check that foot. Saw Belle's smudgey head as she left.
Right Dana! I'll let Mother Nature call those shots! lol
Sharon, prayers continue for Kris and all who love him !
Lynn, love the cartoon !
see the litle bird that landed on the white tree to the right where it is like a hole
lol Mema Jo I knew you would come up with a good answer that is why I ask lol love you♥
I'm so confused because in so many ways, I thought that this one looked and is acting more like Belle. DanaMo same answer as above to Kay.
I saw that, it just think the behavior seems more like Belle. What is it about the talons?
I think Kay did say it was Shep, I was questioning it.What is it about his talons, Kay?
Two DANA's ! WV, I didn't need an answer, you pretty well just restated my opinion. MO, next time they're in the nest together check toes if you can. His are bigger and the middle toe is much longer than Belle's. Wow, that wind is stiff !
Talons (feet) Perhaps the male's is always larger middle toe than female...
I wish someone could research that and let us know - I have never been that
observant
Question: Do you think those spots are
short dark feathers or the absence of
feathers? (No prize for your answers)
lol ♥
Sorry Kay should have started out by saying I agree with you. The V is like you said and is being caused by the wind. As you were also indicating. Yes you did know it was Shep.
lol Mema Jo maybe it is a "wart" lol
Did you know?
Eyesight - An eagle's eye is almost as large as a human's, but its sharpness is at least four times that of a person with perfect vision.
From Jordon Lake Eagle Cam:
when I checked the video at the base of the tree today there was an adult eagle in incubation posture.
Well it is warmer there, Lynn - Remember FL being way ahead of our schedule - NC will have good weather up through Jan I pray.
The phrase, Eagle Eye, is appropriate, huh, Sharon ? ☺
Son is visiting - I'll return ♥
I DO MISS JUDYE
I DO MISS JUDIE
read on down page where picture is on right
Hallux Talon
Well, see I missed a visit! Cam had timed out again and it is NOT restarting with the play/pause button. Have to do an F5 everytime today for some reason.
Okay....see Shep now!
Geez he has barely moved! Just turning the head, feet staying planted.
Didn't Lib also have a funny "toe?"
Sharon has been given that name by
all of us bloggers because in the very beginning of our Cam history - Sharon
always spotted Lib and/or Belle before any of us others did
AND ALSO
Because she always corrected our
mis-spelled words! You know like she was our proof reader with an Eagle Eye.
got off another website
Talon Length
Both male and female eagles have four talons--three in front and one in back. The back-facing talon or hallux tends to be longer on female bald eagles.
Beak Depth
The width from the top of the beak to the eagle's chin is the depth of the beak. Female bald eagles generally have deeper beaks than male eagles.
Voice
The female bald eagle will often have a lower voice than her mate. Gender may be determined by comparing the pitch of two eagles.
Just noticed on the OC Eagle Cam tweets that it took them 10 days to announce the demise of Paddy O'Joy. Geesh!
These birds really need to start paying attention to the 9 o'clock area. Sparse rails there!
Sharon, did you get tired of spellchecking about the time I came on board ? I no I mizspehl werds awl tha tyme and yuve knot kerrected me yeht !
Lynn, that seems a little early, doesn't it? The weather get quite cold here, espceially on the river. we will have to keep a close watch and see what happens.
I am behind on the blog but hope everyone is doing well.
OMG, Lynn ! I can't imagine them not contacting Carolyn. Prayers beginning right now for Charlie !
Gracious Lynn - Keep us updated about
Charlie. Glad he is at hospital but
not real pleased that Carolyn wasn't told! You know like Next of Kin.......
OH NO Lynne that is awful and your daughter has every right to be royally perturbed.
Kay-you are our resident comic! RONFLMAO! Well I wish I was LMAO!
Immediate prayers being said for Charlie and Carolyn ^j^ God be with Carolyn and she drives to the hospital.
Prayers for Charlie and Carolyn, Lynn. Can't understand why she was not called.
Some always ID'd Lib by his talon & once again it has been brought up about
Shep...... I said before that I just never understood it.
Now what Dana found says that on the female the 4th talon is longer.
Go figure......
Wonder what Shep is waiting for??!! Maybe the boy thinks that Belle will bring HIM food???
Suzan Hello - White Rock Link Below
Hancock's Eagle Cams
Well I can't find anything about the 3 talons. Been checking. Maybe someone else can. Sorry.
BELLE IN THE NEST?
I can't believe he is still sitting there. Every time I walk away I think he's going to be gone when I come back but he is still there. Nice to have such a long visit even though he isn't doing anything!
Except blowing in the wind.
I am just hoping when (you seen I said when not if (prayers) Belle lays eggs Shep brings her food please God
I don't think I've ever seen, or maybe just never noticed the lone back talon on any of our eagles. That's the one that is longer on the female according to DanaWV's info. Wonder why the differences ? Mother Nature must have a good reason.
lol Lori I'm not going there lol hugs
Thanks....she used words that I don't like hearing...but justified in her anger. His family is weird. But his mother SHOULD have insisted on calling 911. It takes her close to 40 mins. to get to their house....he could have been dead by the time she got there, or he could die on the way---and then what would she have done? If he'd called 911, Carolyn would have known immediately.
Something caught his eye overhead.
I know Kay now I'll have to be looking for that 4th talon that is suppose to face forward.
NCSuzan...hoping I can get that cam this year----I couldn't last. My youngest daughter has a friend who works for ACOE who told her about it and she passed it on to me. I just hope they are wrong about their observation.
Could the eagle im the nest please lay upside down with talons in air for awhile please lol
PATIENCE WENT POOF
Guess he got tired of waiting for Belle! Loud noise now of some machinery.
I did only two pics this time one of Belle flying out and one of Shep flying out....got him better than her.
On the close up for White Rock I do NOT see any eggs in nest.
Kay You can't fool me - I can
read every word you wrote! Must be my new lens ! lol
He finally went poof!
Thanks for my name description Mema Jo! LOL!
I still proofread but keep it to myself. I think I was starting to irritate some! LOl!
Didn't hear any gun shots or see any
deer.
Hope to BBL. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
When I click on my Lake Jordon it says it has close its video.
Lots of laughs gals, I hate to leave such good company ! Later !
Lynn - White Rock eagles
The pair of bald eagles who built a nest high in the trees on the White Rock bluff overlooking Boundary Bay in Surrey, BC
BC looks like NC BECAUSE YOU HAVE
North Carolina on your mind!
Lynn, i just read on the FB page that they are hoping to have Ustream carry the stream this year. That would certainly make viewing better but then the ads! Hope Charlie is OK.
Oh, and I wore red shoes. I have a nice pair of brown heels that I hardly ever get to wear!
Thanks for that info, Suzan!
Jo, I don't have them confused! The NC Lake Jordan info was on FB.
Hedgie - reread and you were not talking
about White Rock - you said Jordan Lake
My Bad....
How do you remember what you wore last
year - do you check out the photos? I
would have to....
Taking a break..... almost dinner
BBL
Kay on here just trying to figure out each other sometimes can be hysterical (:
Oh-oh, Shirley....95S now badly backed up at Quantico......hope Kat beat that mess. Big lumber spill----only one lane open.

Of course the way she placed it, it will blow around or away!
As so many of us are alos interested in space, I give you this:
We are NOT alone
Another quake.....12:41AM today----did you feel it, Shirley??? Pretty much the same area as before....probably just another aftershock.
Wow! Interesting, Lynn. Thanks for the link.
Kay I know you are probably gone. Saying a prayer that there is great success with the fund raiser for the Resource Cent4er/Food Pantry.
nice an warm there 72° thank Lynn......Let me know if your taking a trip there to see if there is an ocean???
Earthquake was 1.9. Didn't feel that one.
But there was another one in Virginia this week.
Near Raven, Richlands, and Cedar Bluff. It was a 3.1 and took place on Saturday.
Thanks for the bowling support, everyone. I had to go back and find Lolly's comment about sticking out my tongue. Enjoyed it! Yes, bowling should be fun.
Sometimes little old ladies aren't so nice.
Probably won't resort to sticking out my tongue, though.
Probably.
Margy, I will be looking for you to come down here and back me up. Margy armed with a bowling ball. Hmm, should be scary.
But we know that you ARE nice, Shirley!!!
Surprised we haven't heard a peep out of Paula today. Guess her last day of beach tranquility for the year has also been a busy one. :(
Oh, wow----a woman in NC found a little garter snake in her decorated Christmas tree!!! Scary!
Saying prayers for Linda and family.
What did I tell you? Light is fading fast on the nest.
Time to find food. Getting hungry. We will not be waiting for Kathryn tonight. She might stop somewhere along her journey.
Just saw on the news that the overturned truck has been moved, but the traffic will be a mess for awhile yet.
Thanks, Lynn. I will hang in there. I want to enjoy the game. I have literally paid my dues on this one.
Going to pay a visit to our neighbor at the hospital - hip replacement.
BBL
Charlie admitted to a regular room---it's on telemetry unit.
His BP was high. No pain relief from nitro (probably NOT angina) so they gave him morphine and pressure went higher.
Just burned the heck out of roof of my mouth on a hash brown! Ketchup hadn't cooled it down much! Holding iced tea in my mouth!!
OUCH!!! Lynn that is going to leave a blister sorry lady.
Heading for the sofa for awhile....first time today! BBL.
