We held a little engagement party at the Park this PM.The couple met a few summer's ago working there! Before I left Chelsea office, the SUN appeared!!!!Took some pics at Park & have been working on them---might put them on tonight. Tried to make a video of the FAST water, but batteries had it! BTW, Fubby said daughter called & there was another community mtg. today and they were going to relocate to another house, but it's even further away from their work in Austin. Two people who are now a couple have their own houses. They are friends also from the Bike club. They spend most of the time at the man's ranch to take care of cattle, so they are letting Sherry & Jimmy stay at the lady's house!I'm a lot more pleased w/her state of mind. A friend of mine sent a story about a fire she had at her furnished apt. 20 years ago.I sent to Sher, because friend, Susan, stated DO NOT worry about what was left behind--it's just things & now you get to buy a whole new wardrobe & whatever else you need!Sher sent a TY, saying she thought that since the Man Cave,(garage) survived, she should make the majority of new purchases!
man oh man wish I could head to Fredericksburg with some of the boxes from my world's largest collection of empty boxes..and with loads and loads of large zip lock bags....
Lynne - it sure is a Bright Moon! Didn't know it was shinning until I stuck my head out to call a cat! Beautiful... So maybe the Sun tomorrow will shine (without the humidity)
oh shoot Jo, was it the Lucky Dog movie???? Want to see that one! Also want to see the "prequel" to the Love Comes Softly movie series. That's on next weekend. A marathon all day of the movies concluding with this new one!
PAULA saw the sun and the moon. It reminds me of me when I m excited in the winter when we actually get clear enough skies to see the colour blue!!!LOL
I am glad you made a safe trip PAULA and NICK.
Praying for LYNNE 2's STEVE to hear from the people where he went for a job interview today.
Good that the kids can get into a furnished home for the time being, Loretta. Better than having to make immediate purchases for an apartment. Great to have generous friends! I know that lady has the right attitude, but I know that SHerry will still have moments of grief over all that is lost. I know Carolyn did for a long time when they lost their home--two months before Jess was born.
Jo & Lynne, you're right about good news and good friends. They were using a bedroom in their "raccoon" friends' house. Cat was in there also as family has dogs & cats. Sherry said her allergies really kicked in plus she didn't want to wear out the Welcome. Man I saw at work today has a Capt's. license. I showed him 3 pics of TX house & asked why he thought the boat w/all that gas sitting next to garage, just melted & didn't blow up? He said there's usually a small hole to release fumes & gas probably vaporized!!! Good to know. And he thought house, mostly brick, probably went because the asphalt shingles burn easily. Can see some brick wall standing, but pic cuts off---only shows side view (rubble & in back also.)
Lolly, hope you feel better. Told gang at Park I have friends & relatives in TX & told them about our trench & they will help. Wish I could send some of the flood your way.Have to take all kinds of detour routes to get anywhere! I just saw a story about new knee work. A lady only 29 had done a lot of running & had very bad knee. She said she was too young to get replacement, as Lynn said, they're only good for 10-15 years. They did a procedure of implanting cartilage that they grew from taking some from her body! She has a whole year of PT while cells continue to grow!
Margy - it's Charles and Susie and the 2 gs that are 16 and 21. They live here in Middletown. Mecca passed on and so far Sasha is doing well without her. They were very close...
Glad you made it safely, Paula. Enjoy the weekend...
Apparently a Twitter rumor going around that Steve Jobs passed away....NO verification from any sources.
In light of all the recent natrual disasters, and with the ever-present concern for a terrorist action, please share this with your loved ones: ONE cell-phone call uses as much bandwidth as 800 text messages. This is why the "circuits" become overloaded in times of crisis. TEXT, don't Call to verify the safety of your family/friends! Homeland Security says to do this: Send message saying Im ok, r u? Response should be (if they ARE ok) Im ok 2.
Okay Jo, I am so sorry about the mix up on names, and I had even taken a note on it...your son's names, I thought..... "John" Robert Michael... Sasha has a big task...delivering the love from her AND Mecca to the family, bet she has a God-Given talent for just that.... (( Hugs ♥ )) to ALL
Think I won't get anymore pucs done. Getting late for early AM work. YAAAA, Paula's in Paradise! Hope weather stays good on Sat. Boat ramps closed at Park for weekend. You can't find them---Duh.
WV Dana, prayers continue for your nephew. Hope he is able to find a good job that he likes.
DanaMo, prayers for your brother. Hope he can find his niche, too.
Lolly, healing prayers for you & Jack! Hope you both feel better, real soon! (Hope it rains there, too!)
Kay, thanks for the suggestion, but Kubby's pain is not on the bottom of his heel, it's at the back, about even with his ankle bones, where the Achilles tendon is. He's doing better every day, thank God!
Prayers continue for Tori & Robyn, and for Charlie.
Judie, prayers for the family & friends of the man who drowned. Hey, how come Darth gets a TV, and you get kitchen supplies? No fair!
DanaMo, congratulations and hooray for Aric! Good job!
Margy, Emma & I saw the almost-full moon as it was rising tonight, when I took her out to go potty before bedtime. Very pretty!
Lynne2, prayers galore for Steve's job interview with Kohl's.
Shirley, ugh! So sorry about the basement flooding! Prayers that it's not too bad, and that you don't lose anything of sentimental value! We have used one of the small containers of Damp Rid, and it works well.
Paula, glad you & Nick made it down to the b---- safe & sound. Enjoy! Glad the roof repair is holding well, too!
Forgot to mention that Kubby & I will be babysitting the bulldogs for a week starting tomorrow. Sis-and bro-in-law are going to Nantucket for a week. They'll be taking various side trips, too. Will keep you posted.
Think I am going to go watch some TV for a while and wind down. Prayers have been said for everyone, and every creature. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep well, eagle friends. God bless, and good night! Love all of you! :o]
Just passing through. Having some trouble sleeping. Have a purring cat snuggled by me now. We had a small snack. George enjoys potato chips, so I gave him some, but I had buttered bread. Salt and vinegar chips are not what I crave at midnight.
Emptied the dehumidifier. It had a lot of water in it.
Goodnight everyone and sleep tight. I am headed of to the pillows also and wish all who are sick healing and all who have worries the comfort of faith and trust.
Let me jump on here to say good night. We had a Birthday party for Karla, which was waaay too much fun:) I have a cute video, but too sleepy to put it on here.
Good Morning! As Shirley did I'm just passing through.
Hello DANAMO! You're not alone. Hope the 3 Flying Labs are treating you well this morning. :)
Getting the last bit of things ready to take to the beach...maybe feeling like Paula! Except Paula has the ideal luxury of having everything at her beach house already and can go there anytime.
Have a great day. I'm taking my i-Pad and as long as there's wireless I should be able to check in a lot...I'm hoping!
TODAY Sep 10 1953 Swanson sold it first TV dinner Turkey, Cornbread,Peas, Sweet Potato that was just on the new interesting fact 5,000 the first years the second 10Million units They went by the name Swanson and Son then
Someone in PA sent our Fox13 pictures of the floods up there now and pictures of floods in 1972 and the picture look identical to each other Ok I'm off to work See ya later
Still reading newspapers....wanted to share a chuckle. MArgy and Dana and I were recounting/lamenting the many old, gone businesses of our little city a few days ago. Here's a blurb from the Flashback column in out paper: 40 years ago today--"A warning of action" against the operators of Pine Grove Drive-In Theater was made by the sheriff's department for the showing of the film "The Sensually Liberated Female" after a number of complaints were received objecting to the film.
ROFL---don't know anything about that film, but can you spell CENSORSHIP????? I had just come here 3 months before that occurred...do not remember the incident.
LYNN, that old news item is a hoot ! I'm guessing the film is, too. Can't recall what we thought "sexually liberated" was in the 70's, but it's tame compared to 2011 !
JUDY, I'm very happy with Windows 7. SIL set it up for me. I remember him confirming that I wanted Yahoo Mail and Yahoo News Front Page. I had to search for Notepad and Solitaire, findig them under "all programs", maybe there is something there about e-mail choices ??
LORETTA, so happy to hear things are sorting out for the kids in TX. Finding a good place to park while dealing with a myriad of details has to be a huge relief. Prayers continue as they have some very rough days ahead, but a support system that is encouraging.
Good Morning and I see the Sun! I can't stay as I am heading for the picnic and have some last minute things to do. Everyone stay safe and enjoy the day. Will touch base with you upon my return
There is a floor drain, but it is very small and there is a pipe going into it already. A hose did not come with the dehumidifier. We will need to see what we can do.
Shirley, Bill cut a piece off an old hose with the screw on end attached to use on mine....only problem is that my drain goes only to a gravel pit under the floor....and it filled up!! ARGH!!! Okay for a few days if I go away, but I usually just do without and empty it---twice a day in this weather!
Good morning everyone. I am glad the dehumidiefier is working SHIRLEY. You emptied it last night and again this morning...no hose came with it that is odd!!!
I won't even go into FIENDS that WANDA is spending time with!!! LOL !!!
I hope LOLLY and JACK are feeling better.
I am off to my Saturday morning Paddle...it is noticeably less bright in the mornings now, and gets darker much earlier in the evenings too I am observing...Autumn Equinox in fifteen days so it makes no wonder!!!
Have a GREAT DAY every one. See you when I come back.
Good morning Fiends, I mean Friends!☺ Not much better this morning, but I did sleep good last night. This is just going to have to run it's course! Jack slept most of the night in his chair due to congestion.
Loretta, so glad the kids have been offered a home to crash in. Let us know what they decide to do. Did they build the house that burned? Will they rebuild? Did they have much "stuff" in the man cave that was saved? Wish we could do something to help them out!
I am sure I could find what I need for the dehumidifier either around here or at the hardware store. It might be more of a problem to fit the hose into the drain, and the drain has been backing up. The wife of a plumber friend said to put bleach into the drain and have her husband come snake it if that does not work.
I think I need a cheap hose that can be squeezed into the small drain.
Went outside and found that one of our downspouts is not connected to the drainage hose that takes the water away. Had to cut away some low tree branches to get to it. I can't maneuver it into place myself, but I think Will should be able to.
Encountered a praying mantis couple out there. I think there will be baby mantises soon. They objected to my presence and moved away, still together, but I got their picture.
Yesterday, I found a baby greensnake in the back corner of the yard. Wildlife abounds around here.
Thank you, "Shirely". Happy to see that others make typos in your name as well as me!
Sorry you are having water problems. Sister in law had that problem with their basement. They put in a french drain across the front of their house and that worked. Then had to work to keep the drain clear of leaves and pineneedles.
Oh, Shirley....too bad about that downspout. That certainly didn't help the situation. :( Watch out for mantises---they can be nasty. They DO bite! Wonder when an egg would hatch if she made a cocoon now? Not until Spring?? Hmmmm....
Not about to touch one of those mantises, Lynn. I remember the huge one that was sitting on top of my car once. It looked like it wanted to pounce on Kathryn. We both got in on the driver's side and drove off with it still on top of the car.
Loretta I still feel badly for Sherry and Jimmy. It does sound like even though house is in Austin. May be better for them to be in different area. They can think more of what they want to do. That was so so nice of the lady that had the apartment fire. Still such a shame and your daughter will have my prayers due to she will have to go through the lost feelings. Glad they for now have a place to stay.
See Paula made it out of the flowing waters to Paradise. News the roof repair is holding up well. ( : Happy she and Nick are there.
Prayers for Steve to get the job. I ask a friend if they were hiring east of Hagerstown. She said he got the job through one of those job placement places. Now they say they are going to hire him full time but they haven't yet. So we keep praying.
That is very very true about the knee replacement. My orthopedic doctor talked with me about it. I ask him if I should just keep on trying to make it. He said for me as bad as it was I have already been trying to keep on keeping on. That it was now affecting the other knee and leg. Which it was terribly. I just keep asking God to allow it to go longer.
Yes Loretta they do have that now where your own catilaage can grow and they use that. It last unlike the replacement. Found what they have told me. I was told when left knee was done. They MRI'ed the right. Said I would not need anything ever done there 2007. Well last year when I had to have MRI on the right knee because of falling around since 2009. He said well I can tell you one thing. You have arthritis all through your body. Well I knew that. He said in how many ever years our going to need a right knee replacement. He said do you want me to start the shots? I said no. I am going to put up with the pain. I will see you when I'm crawling. I'm trying not to do anything until I get older. He said, "You will know when to come back". I really like him always have.
Mema Jo I am glad to hear Sasha is doing well. Thanks Margie for asking doggies name. I have been wanting to know. Have a great picnic tomorrow Jo. Hope laughter all around. ( :
Hedgie good to know in time of crisis about the text and not call. Will have to pass that on to daughter.
Oh boy Margy get to see Master James on Saturday. THAT'S TODAY!!! This evening!!!! HUGS and I know you both will enjoy yourselves.
Oh no I am reading this part of the blog. See Shirley had flooding in basement...OH NO MR.BOB!! Will have to read back to find out more.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARLA!!!!! Wanda I bet you all did have a lot of fun ( :
Good Morning Lori have a wonderful vacation and beach time!!!!
Hedgie-Lynn back then people just called them "Dirty Movies"!!!!!
That is a hoot that we did that and 40 yrs. in paper today lol
I stay far away from praying mantis. I had one when teenager fly on me and bite me.
I am so glad I found you all ( : Now I know you all are my "fiends". Wanda you are a hoot..love you LADY ( : You have me smiling .. it feels good.
Loretta your pictures are very interesting. Water can be low and in a river or creek all of a sudden just come up and start flowing strong. Some pictures!!
Andy how does Damp Rid work? Glad Kubbys back of heel is feeling better.
Home for lunch must of lost power in the severe storms we were having while I was at work My air is not working WE GOT 4 INCHES of RAIN in my rain gauge and more rumbling out there My house is registering 80 feels hotter than that Called SIL who is air man hope he came looks at it while I am at work I actually hate calling him knowing its his day off
JUDYE I do not know when the still cam came up. I checked on Thursday and it was not working then.
Good paddle...only 12 paddlers showed up. No sighting of birds of any kind this time. Clear blue skies and it was warm. we all commented on how clear it is and we are gaining on the middle of September but it still feels like summer. We will take the boat out either the 24th of September or the 1st of October, this was announced today. They have not yet decided...It is a good group of paddlers and I will miss the time spent with them over the winter months...
I am still got this bad feeling pit in my stomach. My nephews son and wife have lived the whole time he has been in Navy at Norfolk. That is not that far aways from his parents or hers. I just can't understand her. Well I made a call to his mother, I knew my nephew was holding something back. He has been in 8 years I found out. Can't get out until next year. She has been in Charles Town with her mother for a month. No him and her did not have a fight. She just decided she wanted not to be a wife of a person in the service anymore. Took the 2 children went to her mothers. Her mother is very controlling. I didn't know all this but I had prayed, "God you know what is going on between those two. Whatever it takes bring them two and the 2 children back together". Well she ask his mother if for 2 weekend she could watch the kids and the other 2 weekends her mother would watch the kids. Since she has been up here she and her husband have been anguring over the phone because she has done this. Then all of a sudden HER mother said something bad about Shawn and Jen had taken up for him. HER MOTHER THREW HER OUT!!! (my prayer was answered but I didn't know it till now I just knew they needed to be together)...so she is on her way with the kids back to Norfolk. In all the 8 years the longest her husband was away from her was 7 months..out to sea on a ship. I pray she gets her act together. He will get disability discharge which gives him health care but not her or the kids. So I will be praying she pulls herself together. His little boy cried the other day and told grandma, "I miss my bud...meaning his Dad". Shawn is very close to his children. Please continue to pray for God to keep this family together and that if Shawn is to get out he will get a good job already prepared by God. Thank you....
Hoda you have shared with us the wonderful paddling experience. I too will miss when it will stop. I enjoy so much seeing your post. Today I could almost really see that "blue sky" through your words. I know you will miss it. Thank you so much for sharing this experience. Will be watching for the next time and your comments when you all go out. HUGS
The reviews I read on DampRID is quite something. It is a crystal and it sits and takes the humidty and stalness out of the air plus takes away the mold and mildew. The crystals turn to water. You can rinse what is left in the tub and refill. One woman had asthma and she used a kitty litter pan put holds in it with icepick and set it on a dishpan. Worked wonderful no more asthma attacks, took the mildew and mold away. The air felt less humid and stale.
GOOD AFTERNOON, MY FIENDS:) Lynn may be right, I have been spending too much time in my shop! Actually, I tried 3 times last night to say good night to you all, and fell asleep, mid-sentence. I noticed, just now, that I didn't finish the last line, which is always PRAYERS FOR ALL...I just said...PRAYERS, which was OK, but, man, I was tired. Wasn't too many refreshments (only had 1/2 cocktail), just too much fun. Jayden was EXTRA charming, GG was feeling SUPER GOOD and Donny, Karla's hubby was able to leave work early and come over. Want you all to know that I did not even TOUCH Karla's cake:)
Shirley, I'm so glad that you know we are FIENDS...nice to have a FIEND 2 o'clock in the morning;) I had to chuckle at your remark about the Praying Mantis sighting...and, they weren't PRAYING!:) I think I mentioned once before about finding a Mantis nest/cocoon, as a child...brought it home and put it on top of a cabinet (tall) and forgot about it. In the Spring, came home from school one day and GG asked where all those baby MANTISES came from! LOL
Judy, OK nest doesn't look inhabitable...sliding off the branches. Hope the shore it back up before any eggs are laid...they would roll right off!
Oh, my...another picnic for Jo...she has a wonderful family:)
It is good to know that Loretta's daughter and SIL have a place to stay until they decide what to do. Oh, my, I know their hearts must be hurting so much from their loss. Can't imagine being in their place:( Prayers for them to have a quick resolution to their problems~
DANA...good to know that you found these FIENDS too. Everyone needs them:)
One reason why I love you all so much, we can all laugh at each other, without fear of offending.
Wanda I loved what you said. Yes it is good to have wonderful people like you and others. To help bring a laugh into our lives. Without the worry of offending each other. Your so Wonderful I Almost Feel Like We Are RELATED!!! ( : ( : HUGS ♥
Getting ready to head out in an hour to meet Chris for a movie and dinner out. She wants to eat at Outback---hope she's treating!!! Kidding, of course! But who knows? She just might!
Nice ceremony at Shanksville. And a very low-key wreath laying at the Pentagon by Pres. Bush earlier today was very solemn.
WANDA I feel we laugh WITH each other and this is why we do not offend...
Spoke to Carol, my American sister, and she had a lovely visit with Abby and Harry, the beautiful little baby boy addition to our family.
I spoke to Samia, my sister in Egypt, and she is very upset at the events that unfolded there yesterday with the attacks on the Israeli embassy...I think it is all gone out of control...
Linda you are a miracle at that type of work!!! Glad your Mother's husband will give you the information so you can it month to month. That would make it a lot easier now. You must be exhausted!!
Diane glad you stopped in last night. Hoping the PT on knee is going to help. Sorry I can't remember what is wrong with your knee?? Or maybe someone else can tell me??
Wanda, don't forget to check your email!! Glad that you had so much fun last night, but WHY didn't you have cake??? That's what I call willpower! Don't forget to put out your Wicked Wanda's Witch Shoppe sign!!!
Huh?? Diane I don't understand. I had meniscus surgery on my right knee this year. Sure did make it better and helped me to walk. I was messing up my left knee because of the right. The right knee feels much stronger now.
Diane if PT doesn't help or hurts to bad. Water PT is wonderful!!! Makes the area much stronger. Less pain because your doing it in the warm water. Wished I could afford to go back to Winchester pool. That made me feel so good. Helped the back, neck, knees, legs and my mind. ( :
I am watching the NY Fire Department Memorial Service in St Patrick...a very dignified service. They marched in US flags for each of the Firemen that perished on that day...
Finding lots of things to put on Freecycle. We also found an old drop-side baby crib. I do not know what to do except throw it away. They are considered dangerous now.
It is the one we used for Hunter when he stayed here.
HODA The thing I posted was stars and hearts I see it on the blog now and you see squares HUM I wonder what is up with that SIL Is here working on air It is so hot in here He said I have a burnt wire and he is replacing it from outside to inside must have been power surge that happened to day
WCV had a Barred Owl get loose at an event today in Afton, VA. I don't know for sure where that is, but I hope you will alert anyone you know anywhere near the area of Misty's escape. And if you are on FB and in the general area, please re-post the link there from their page or mine.
I know it's late for morning greetings (except in Asia). Been kind of busy though.
Our heat wave broke, we're back to cloudy skies and about 70° in So Cal; and about mid morning we had a dramatic period with lightning, long, rolling thunder runs. Then the hail and rain came down for a few minutes.
Could be more thunder showers in our near future as evening approaches.
LYNNE2 So sorry to hear of MISTY'S escape...can she survive in the wild I wonder? She seems to be able to fly, can she hunt? Why was she kept at the centre?I feel anxious.
Just came in from a good yoga practice...Not many posts since I left at 4:20 PM
PAULA's explanation as to why the Still Cam is on makes sense to me...the sun must be out over there...
Gorgeous sunset tonight...it was low tide...was walking along the water...founda softshell crab in a little cubbyhole...it had just shed....it was tonight's appetizer!
Margy, you have started something by sending Hunter those rocks. He is now rock hunting out in the yard. He wanted a paintbrush so that the could brush the dirt away from his finds. Looks like he has attracted the attention of another kid in the neighborhood as well.
Hoda, I think Misty was a NON releasable bird or they'd have rehabbed her and let her back into the wild. Don't know though what the nature of her disability is, but afraid she wouldn't make it in the wild....
Night JudyE! We'll see you in a few minutes as usual! It's seems to be a problem many of deal with after saying our Goodnights!!! Hard to leave such good company!
Now I learn that one of the eager rock hounds is Kiante, Hunter's great enemy from the bus. Interesting. I had to go out and meet this young man. Also wanted to ask if his parents know where he is, as it is now dark.
I love the very involved way in which things unfold, I laughed out loud when you solved the problem of the missing math book, that he "forgot" to pack by driving him right back to school to get it!!! ONE UP for Grandma.
Not really, Hoda. He failed to take the book back to school the next day. It is a workbook, so all of his work was in it. I had asked him more than once if he had packed the math book, but I did not check.
LORI - Hope you've arrived and are having a wonderful time so far. Do check in and let us know how you're doing. Hopefully you'll have WiFi!
Shirley - So sorry to hear of the basement water and problems you've been having. What a mess!
Loretta - Wonderful to hear Shirley and Jim at least have a place to stay while they figure out how to begin again. Keeping them in prayer.
Lolly - I know how you feel, Girl!! Dennis gave his cold to me a couple weeks back and it wasn't fun for either of us! Prayers for quick healing for you both.
Paula - Enjoy the b... this weekend!
Margy - Happy to hear tonight you finally get to see James the Wise ♥
Wanda - You're such a JOY, just because you're YOU!! You just seem to shine through everything!! Bless You! ♥
Jo - Hoping today's picnic with your family was fun. Sounds like it was going to be!
I wonder how many days I have to go back to catch up on the posts.....
Lynn - To answer your question, Yes, my step-dad is an insurance agent. He uses one bank account for personal and business, which means more data entry, but much of it is necessary as he has an office in his home and takes deductions for that as well.
LOl Linda, I have been thinking that Dennis and Jack are a lot alike. Now you tell me he gave you his cold. Had to laugh!
Still feeling miserable...eyes watering, nose burning and running, sneezing, head hurts, and I am uncomfortable in the mid section. Do not know what is causing that! This afternoon was feeling chilly and Jack brought me a blanket. Woe is me!
Good Late Evening - the sun was bright and the breeze was great today for our picnic. Could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Our oldest family members are dwindling but there is so much hope for the future as there were 9 youngsters from 8 yrs to 10 months. That is HOPE ! Didn't really want any dinner this evening so we splurged and ate ice cream as we watched the Pelican Brief for the umpteenth time.
OMG, LOLLY...having a cold is miserable, but, to have one in the hot, Summer weather is so much worse than any other time:( Seems Linda and Dennis have gotten over their colds...glad you all can't pass it on through cyberspace!
LYNN, you finally remembered why I didn't TOUCH THE CAKE:) I didn't eat any, either. I'm not much on sweets. I LOVE anything chocolate with nuts...makes me weak in my knees just thinking about it...oh, maybe it's my arthritis;)
LOL, PAULA said "it's 5 o'clock"...I think she was headed for a margarita...wow, what a life! You go girl!
I posted some photos from last evening on my JUST FOR FUN...don't think any shows the cake, to prove that I didn't fall with this one:)
Jo - Glad you had a good time today and there is so much growth in the family!!
Lolly - So sorry you're feeling so poorly. I've thought the same thing when you have mentioned all that Jack does for and with you! He's a good jubby.......even thought he gave you his cold! Share everything!
Dennis is STILL feeling bad from his gum/bone procedure on Tuesday. He keeps trying to fight it and fails every time. I told him there is no sense fighting it. When you feel better, you'll know, right? It is very unusual for him to take pain pills for anything and he is still taking at least a couple a day since Wednesday. He's done better with major surgery than with this one. He is even swollen when you run your hand along his jaw line. Poor thing......... :(
I am not able to write anything on my Blog photos anymore...have no idea why. GG was waving at Jayden while he was eating his supper and he smiled so sweetly at her. No wonder she fusses when he doesn't come over (which is very seldon). I don't have the time to find out why I can't post on there, maybe one of you ladies have experienced the same problem?
No, Wanda, just a crown lengthening procedure, I think. It was after a root canal. He had to go to a periodontist and have some gum and bone cut away so they could put a crown on it.
I had a crown put on a jaw tooth a few weeks ago and everything went smoothly, but then my mouth started getting cold sores inside and they were very painful. Had them for nearly two weeks. Strange, but everytime I get a scratch in my mouth or bite my jay, it turns into a cold sore. Same thing with my lips or inside my nose:(
LOLLY, Jayden was kissing me through the sliding glass door:) He loves playing on GG's porch. Have to watch him, though...she has a lot of flowers out there and he LOVES to dig in the dirt:)
We still have so many areas here that are still too flooded to allow the people to return to their homes.
Other areas where the waters have receded, are just so devastated from the MAJOR water damage. Some peoples' furniture was actually forced out of the homes with the rush of the water and there are couches, tables, beds, and other items all over the yards and roads.
Gosh, we are so blessed to be up the mountain away from the river and creeks below. Lord help those people.
They say this was worse than Agnes in 1972, which was previously the worst flood in this area.
Hello, dear friends. Home and settled in...and caught up!!
Movie was GREAT!!!!! I highly recommend it! But it was long.....We went in at 4:30 for a 4:45 showing and it was almost 7:30 when we got out. Of course, trailers took up probably close to a half-hour! Had to wait at Outback for 30 mins...but then had a great meal!!
Miss Liesl was NOT too happy with me, being crated for so long--6 hrs.! And she scarfed her din-din down in 10 seconds, I swear!
I posted a picture of Hunter and his friends digging for treasure on the edge of the street this evening. Terrible picture. I was rushed. Didn't really want them to see me.
Dana, we saw The Help. Crazy way of doing things....no intro of the actors....had to wait til the end to see who was in it! Recognized Sissy Spacek, Cicely Tyson and Allyson Janney, but the other names weren't familiar, tho' a few faces were. I can definitely see some Oscars coming up!
The night light is on for anyone who needs to arise in the dark or come in later tonight. Going to sleep so please don't slam the door. Restful sleep for all.
Good evening everyone. This has been a great day at the Fifth Annual Crisco Family Gathering Away From a Funeral Home. 28 people here. And I have spent the evening with my baby boy. :)
Picture of the boys is great, Shirley and I am glad to read that you met Kiante.... hope this turns the corner for him.... I can send some "treats" to put into that rock pile...potato rocks, bread stick rocks, and all kinds of solid geometry rocks ☺
For when The United States of America was attacked on September 11 2001 the world wept. I fly the FLAG of The USA in solidarity and with pride...LONG MAY SHE WAVE. God Bless the USA and all who live in it.
I had a nice visit with James the Wise... he and his Dad and I did the Goodwill and McDonalds tour together, then the "boys" did their grocery shopping while I browsed the greeting card department was fun to see that...watching them cruise the aisles and fill their grocery cart. later I checked out James's school papers and his two library books.. one about Flags, and one about Mammals, mostly the Big Cats...lions, tigers, cheetahs; It's ALL Non-Fiction for the Grandson ☺
MARGY It sounds like you had a wonderful visit with James and his Dad...are you going to be able to see them tomorrow? Is James soon going to come and spend time at your place?
Hoda: Got tagged for a shift Sunday 10 am to 3 pm...was not in my plans, but...this is the way things work at work sometimes... one other supervisor is out of town regarding, illness in her family... so I will see James for a school pick-up Monday, and spend time in quiet reflection before and after work Sunday
I think tomorrow will be a time for reflection for all of us. Thank You for working on that day.I love ot hear how you relate with James The Wise and all the adventures you go on.

«Oldest ‹Older 401 – 600 of 634 Newer› Newest»We held a little engagement party at the Park this PM.The couple met a few summer's ago working there!
At the beach safe and sound!
Whoo hoo I got to see the sun on my way down...it was still raining at home when I left, but we drove out of it.
Got to see the moon too.
It is either low level clouds or fog down here now....very humid and buggy...turned the air on.
Bbialw
that's great news Loretta!!
man oh man wish I could head to Fredericksburg with some of the boxes from my world's largest collection of empty boxes..and with loads and loads of large zip lock bags....
boxing up things is one of my strong suites !
Happy you are at the Paradise, Paula xoxoxo
Lynne - it sure is a Bright Moon!
Didn't know it was shinning until I
stuck my head out to call a cat!
Beautiful... So maybe the Sun tomorrow
will shine (without the humidity)
Hallmark movie was great!
oh shoot Jo, was it the Lucky Dog movie???? Want to see that one! Also want to see the "prequel" to the Love Comes Softly movie series. That's on next weekend. A marathon all day of the movies concluding with this new one!
Margy, you have mail!
Margy, knee replacements are traditionally only good for 10-15 yrs., so they don't like doing them on people who are under 60.
Loretta, I'm sure you can breath easier
that Sherry & Jimmy will have housing.
It is so sad when any disaster hits.
I keep looking out at the moon....much haze and hoping to see a moonbow around it!
Shirley, when you say junk...do you mean lawn stuff, leaves, etc.? Or some kind of construction debris? Okay---get to sleep!!
LINDA Good on you, for not only finishing 2010 taxes, but for doing 8 months from this year's taxes...in my books it is AMAZING and so are YOU.
Good report from Diann...I, too, like the B&E story!
ok, thanks Lynn for the info about knee replacements
know tht Wanda is hoping to get such a new knee in November or so....
Oh forgot to mention the roof repair held up well!
Hi Mema Jo...
xoxo ☺ ♥
How are John and Susie doing...and what is the name of the other dog they have ?
ok checking Lynne...not sure which address it went to...
will check after Dateline
Good that the kids can get into a furnished home for the time being, Loretta. Better than having to make immediate purchases for an apartment. Great to have generous friends! I know that lady has the right attitude, but I know that SHerry will still have moments of grief over all that is lost. I know Carolyn did for a long time when they lost their home--two months before Jess was born.
Thanks Hoda....it's only part time, but it's something anyway. No one else has called him :(
Paula, glad the roof repair held up! Sorry about the humidity and bugs...it's not much better here. Cooler crisp days of autumn are coming!
Thanks for letting us know you arrived safely, Paula. No more leaks, I hope! Yep---let that AC get the muggies out!
Margy...good reminder....plastic bahs INSIDE the cardboard boxes!
I am heading to bed. My head is hurting and I feel miserable. Not good company, that's for sure.
Night all! Prayers for all concerns...mostly for those who have too much water...and for me who has none. Now "ain't" that sad!
Just had to cancel a family get together at Michael's Sunday. Now I am really sad.
Nite! Sweet dreams!
They live here
in Middletown. Mecca passed on and so
far Sasha is doing well without her.
They were very close...
Glad you made it safely, Paula.
Enjoy the weekend...
I am going to hit the pillows shortly
Another picnic at 1:00 tomorrow
My side of the family...
Good night everyone
God Bless all of you and your families
and friends
Many prayers being offered up tonight
hugs to all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Apparently a Twitter rumor going around that Steve Jobs passed away....NO verification from any sources.
In light of all the recent natrual disasters, and with the ever-present concern for a terrorist action, please share this with your loved ones:
ONE cell-phone call uses as much bandwidth as 800 text messages.
"John"
Robert
Michael...
I need a new brain----
Pleasant Feather Dreams & Prayers for all ;>)
I found the Dateline program, very touching and insightful, nicely done.
Sad...
Loretta...hoping that each new day brings more ideas and plans for Sherry and Jimmy that bring comfort and ... hope
Better start closing things down here
One more work day...I think...never can tell.
but I WILL see James the Wise Saturday evening after work....
Prayers...for many friends and family tonight.....
including, that Lolly will kick the illness, pronto!!
Good Night, I love you all
and
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Must get to bed. Good night and prayers for all!
Hope you sleep well, Lolly and feel much better in the morning.
Jo, get that beauty sleep so that you are rarin' to go tomorrow for your picnic.
Lori, if you are lurking---have a wonderful vacation!!!! Be safe and have fun! We'll be looking forward to pics!
Loretta, that sounds like a very cool proposition for knee treatment! Miracles of modern medicine!
G'night Margy, Lynne and Lowreeda. SUN on tap for tomorrow!!
Time for me to shut 'er down and get ready for bed, too. See all y'all tomorrow. Prayers for all going up.
Good Evening, Everyone!
It's taken me a while to catch up tonight!
The clouds have left...the moon is shinig
Loretta, glad the kids have a place to stay!
Shirley sorry about the wet basement
Lolly sorry you feel like poop and had to cancel your get together...hope you feel better soon
Put river pics in Nook. Think some should be larger--give them a click ☺! SSHHH, I'm sleeping...zzzzzzz
Checked your pics, Loretta. The water there is impressive.
Hoping that Sherry gets to enjoy being able to buy new things, even though it is so painful to lose so much.
Goodnight everyone and sleep tight. I am headed of to the pillows also and wish all who are sick healing and all who have worries the comfort of faith and trust.
Have a safe trip LORI.
Good night and God Bless.
"I am headed off to the pillows" is what it should have read...Sweet dreams.
Let me jump on here to say good night.
We had a Birthday party for Karla, which was waaay too much fun:)
I have a cute video, but too sleepy to put it on here.
GOOD NIGHT MY FIENDS
SWEET DREAMS

Wanda is wishing her fiends good night. Yikes!! Wonder who THEY are?
Passing through again . . .
"Knock, knock, anybody here?"
Good Saturday morning!
Glad Paula make it okay and the roof repair went well. HOw about Lori?
Good Morning! As Shirley did I'm just passing through.
Hello DANAMO! You're not alone. Hope the 3 Flying Labs are treating you well this morning. :)
Getting the last bit of things ready to take to the beach...maybe feeling like Paula! Except Paula has the ideal luxury of having everything at her beach house already and can go there anytime.
Have a great day. I'm taking my i-Pad and as long as there's wireless I should be able to check in a lot...I'm hoping!
AWESOME to see HIDEY at the top of the page!

Good morning eagle momsters and dadsters.
I hope you all have a good morning. I'll catch you on the flipside.
Good morning.
Getting ready to head back to the basement.
I hope Wanda's fiends aren't hiding down there.
good morning....so, we are FIENDS now? Well well, that must have been some party Wanda! LOL!
Can't stay, off to babysit next door. See ya later gators, have a good one!
Good Sat. AM, my chickadees!
Still reading newspapers....wanted to share a chuckle. MArgy and Dana and I were recounting/lamenting the many old, gone businesses of our little city a few days ago. Here's a blurb from the Flashback column in out paper:
40 years ago today--"A warning of action" against the operators of Pine Grove Drive-In Theater was made by the sheriff's department for the showing of the film "The Sensually Liberated Female" after a number of complaints were received objecting to the film.
ANDY, I was way off target about where Kubby's heel pain is---that is one big Ouch !!!
LORETTA, so happy to hear things are sorting out for the kids in TX. Finding a good place to park while dealing with a myriad of details has to be a huge relief. Prayers continue as they have some very rough days ahead, but a support system that is encouraging.
BBL, time to get some stuff done.
Good Morning and I see the Sun!
I can't stay as I am heading for the picnic and have some last minute things to do.
Everyone stay safe and enjoy the day.
Will touch base with you upon my return
BBL
Me thinks that Wanda is already spending too much time in the shop with the ghouls, goblins and ghosties!!! FIENDS????? Really??
Thanks for sharing park pics, Loretta. Not as bad as before, thankffully.
Shirley, do you have a floor drain in basement? If so, attach hose to dehumidifier and let it drain continuously.
There is a floor drain, but it is very small and there is a pipe going into it already. A hose did not come with the dehumidifier. We will need to see what we can do.
It was definitely my plan to drain the dehumidifier continuously.
BBL.
Dumb blogger cop!
JO, have fun at your family picnic!!
Good Morning to All and Lurkers.
Hope things are well when I read back on comments.
Have a good day ( :
Hope you and Jack feel much better very soon, Lolly.
Watch out for mantises---they can be nasty. They DO bite! Wonder when an egg would hatch if she made a cocoon now? Not until Spring?? Hmmmm....
Hoda, hope your paddling excursion is fun and that you see the eagle again!
That was so so nice of the lady that had the
apartment fire. Still such a shame and your daughter will have my prayers due to she will have to go through the lost feelings. Glad they for now have a place to stay.
See Paula made it out of the flowing waters to Paradise. News the roof repair is holding up
well. ( : Happy she and Nick are there.
Prayers for Steve to get the job. I ask a friend if they were hiring east of Hagerstown.
She said he got the job through one of those job placement places. Now they say they are going to hire him full time but they haven't
yet. So we keep praying.
That is very very true about the knee replacement.
My orthopedic doctor talked with me about it. I ask him if I should just keep on trying to make it. He
said for me as bad as it was I have already been trying to keep on keeping on. That it was now
affecting the other knee and leg. Which it was terribly. I just keep asking God to allow it to go longer.
Yes Loretta they do have that now where your own catilaage can grow and they use that. It last
unlike the replacement. He
said do you want me to start the shots? I said no. I am going to put up with the pain. I will see you when I'm crawling. I'm trying not to do anything until I get older. He said, "You will know when
to come back".
Will have to pass that
on to daughter.
The mantis on our car probably was acting that way just because it had no where to hide from us, but it made us feel a bit uneasy.
I expect the mantis eggs will not hatch until spring. We usually have them around our front porch.
Walked out Mothers front door the other day. She said, "Look there is a praying mantis". Sure was ( :
Sorry Lolly did not mean to leave you out. I read where you had to cancel with Michael. I pray you and Jack start to feel better.

STILL CAM IS WORKING FYI FYI
JUDYE I do not know when the still cam came up. I checked on Thursday and it was not working then.
Good paddle...only 12 paddlers showed up. No sighting of birds of any kind this time. Clear blue skies and it was warm. we all commented on how clear it is and we are gaining on the middle of September but it still feels like summer. We will take the boat out either the 24th of September or the 1st of October, this was announced today. They have not yet decided...It is a good group of paddlers and I will miss the time spent with them over the winter months...
JUDYE I get squares and hearts on your last post...is it my computer? What were you posting?
Hope your AC will be okay, JudyE.
Think it's getting close to time to turn mine back on....77 sunny °'s now and house is feeling warm and stuffy.
Good that still cam is back up!
Hoda, I think JudyE's symbols form like a starburst---celebrating still cam!
Too bad that your season will soon end...:( Know how great an experience it has been for you.
HUGS
Lynne I don't need to tell you but I am....SMART to turn around and find another way around the down lines. Happy!!!
100 buttons down, 100 to go!
Margy I love your pictures of Back Creek, the mantis, and the butterfly. Thank you for posting so we can see them. ( :
Oh Judy I hope when you come home from work your A/C is on and the house is cooler (prays)!!
GOOD AFTERNOON, MY FIENDS:)
Lynn may be right, I have been spending too much time in my shop!
Shirley, I'm so glad that you know we are FIENDS...nice to have a FIEND 2 o'clock in the morning;)
I had to chuckle at your remark about the Praying Mantis sighting...and, they weren't PRAYING!:) I think I mentioned once before about finding a Mantis nest/cocoon, as a child...brought it home and put it on top of a cabinet (tall) and forgot about it.
Back to the GHOSTS & GOBLINS~
Good afternoon.
Wanda, so glad the party was great fun and that the cake survived -- well, long enough to be eaten. Happy belated birthday to Karla.
Shirley, so sorry about the water and drain. Didn't catch all the details so hope the problem is minor.
Loretta, glad Sherry and Jim have a nice place to stay. I know that is a worry off your mind.
Hoda, so happy you had a beautiful day for paddling.
Busy morning and just tried to read quickly through most recent comments. Now need to get to work. BBL
Margy so glad you shared with him. The wearing of red we do on Fridays. I hope that made him feel like there are people that do care.
Sorry about his grandfathers loss.
Hedgie what movie you going to see?
Oops---I get it about the cake, Wanda! No face plants possible if your don't touch it! Hope you DID eat it!
Logging off. Time to put Liesl in her crate and don my duds. See you all tonight. Enjoy the rest of your day, gang.
I am watching the NY Fire Department Memorial Service in St Patrick...a very dignified service. They marched in US flags for each of the Firemen that perished on that day...
Back later
Oh I am so ready for a nap! Another 50 buttons to go, too many breaks!
Finding lots of things to put on Freecycle. We also found an old drop-side baby crib. I do not know what to do except throw it away. They are considered dangerous now.
It is the one we used for Hunter when he stayed here.
HODA The thing I posted was stars and hearts I see it on the blog now and you see squares HUM I wonder what is up with that SIL Is here working on air It is so hot in here He said I have a burnt wire and he is replacing it from outside to inside must have been power surge that happened to day
Afternoon all!
Just a gorgeous day here...wlaked the beach, went to the fruit stand...now I.m outside...osprey flew overhead..of course no camera in hand!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day....it's 5 o'clcok :)
Well the sun musy be shining if the still cam is up :) hope the eagles drop in soon
Air is fixed and I am one cool chick LOL The best SIL ever
WCV had a Barred Owl get loose at an event today in Afton, VA. I don't know for sure where that is, but I hope you will alert anyone you know anywhere near the area of Misty's escape. And if you are on FB and in the general area, please re-post the link there from their page or mine.

HOWDY, HOWDY,
EVERYBODY.
*********************
I know it's late for morning greetings (except in Asia). Been kind of busy though.
Our heat wave broke, we're back to cloudy skies and about 70° in So Cal; and about mid morning we had a dramatic period with lightning, long, rolling thunder runs. Then the hail and rain came down for a few minutes.
Could be more thunder showers in our near future as evening approaches.
I'm hoping you all have a great weekend.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Hey JIM I was hoping the eagles would show up on the still cam
LYNNE2 So sorry to hear of MISTY'S escape...can she survive in the wild I wonder? She seems to be able to fly, can she hunt? Why was she kept at the centre?I feel anxious.
Just came in from a good yoga practice...Not many posts since I left at 4:20 PM
PAULA's explanation as to why the Still Cam is on makes sense to me...the sun must be out over there...
Gorgeous sunset tonight...it was low tide...was walking along the water...founda softshell crab in a little cubbyhole...it had just shed....it was tonight's appetizer!
I didn't g☼ l☼☼k at the g☼rge☼us sunset this evening being we got the cam up I was hoping they would show up
Margy, you have started something by sending Hunter those rocks. He is now rock hunting out in the yard. He wanted a paintbrush so that the could brush the dirt away from his finds. Looks like he has attracted the attention of another kid in the neighborhood as well.
Hello Paula, Hoda,Lynn2 and Jim
I see you too SHIRLEY
LIGHT ON COLORS GONE
DARN IT THAT MEANS SO EAGLES
Glad the heat wave has broken Jim!
Shirley, that's very cool that Hunter is rock hunting! Maybe he'd enjoy a trip to Calvert Cliffs for some fossil and rock hunting there!

Okay, there are four kids out there looking for treasure. We may have to fill in some holes tomorrow.
SHIRLEY , you MUST write a book adventures of a grandson...They are keeping you on your toes...
Maybe I will find time to write a book someday, Hoda.
Good Saturday Evening!!
Hope that Lynn is having a great time with Christy. Anxious for her report on the movie.
OMG, LOLLY...having a cold is miserable, but, to have one in the hot, Summer weather is so much worse than any other time:(
Seems Linda and Dennis have gotten over their colds...glad you all can't pass it on through cyberspace!
Wanda - Great pics from last night. All smiles!! :)
LINDA, did Dennis have a bone implant? I guess I missed that post from you.
No, Wanda, just a crown lengthening procedure, I think. It was after a root canal. He had to go to a periodontist and have some gum and bone cut away so they could put a crown on it.
Didn't think it would be so painful this far out.
Wanda, love the picture of GG waving. That is one to frame! And, you were getting some loving from a cute guy....do not tell Father Capt. Gene!!!
Have to say on here...TCU soundly beat Air Force today. GO FROGS!
Wow, LINDA, that sounds painful!
Same thing with my lips or inside my nose:(
LOLLY, Jayden was kissing me through the sliding glass door:)
He loves playing on GG's porch. Have to watch him, though...she has a lot of flowers out there and he LOVES to dig in the dirt:)
I don't like all this dental work that needs to be done as you get older. It's rarely just a minor filling anymore like it used to be!
Then when they do some of this major work, it causes more problems.
Kind of like when you take your car to the mechanic for one thing and another thing breaks when you get it back! LOL
Great pictures, Wanda. I enjoyed the ones of the Outer Banks as well.
I am thinking of showering and going to bed. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Oh, Wanda, I have a similar picture of Joseph when he was little kissing me through the screen. A great picture!
Night all...friends and fiends!☺
Sweet dreams!
Here is the link to one of our local tv stations that shows pictures of some of the devastation up here....
Devastion in NE PA
Night, Lolly! Feel better............
LINDA, the flood photos were just unbelievable. The supermarket was flooded but still had it's lights on...looked like an accident waiting to happen!
I'm going to say GOOD NIGHT before I get too sleepy. Don't want to call all of you bad names again:)
Praying that there are no Terrorist attacks tomorrow and that all ceremonies take place peacefully and with dignity, as it should~
GOOD NIGHT AND BLESSINGS TO ALL
Fun pictures SHIRLEY...
LYNN glad you liked the movie. I heard great things about it and would like to see it.
Shirley, those boys look like they are having fun...would love to hear what they are talking about:)
The Help is talked about a lot, hope I get to see it before the Oscar nominations take place.
Nite♥
The night light is on for anyone who needs to arise in the dark or come in later tonight. Going to sleep so please don't slam the door. Restful sleep for all.
Good Night Judie - I am soon to follow you by going back my hallway..
Glad you had a good day Lynn - Outback does serve a great meal..
I will say Good Night and will also
be praying for a Peaceful day tomorrow.
Prayers for all & your families and friends
Hugs for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
It's time for me to head upstairs as well.
Lynn - Glad you had a good time this evening!
Wishing everyone restful and peaceful sleep tonight.
Praying that our nation has a quiet day of remembrance tomorrow without any incident. It is a day we surely will never forget.....
May God Bless and Protect us all and the critters we so dearly love... xoxo ♥♥♥
Paula, loved your 5 o'clock reminder! I had a margarita with my dinner!! How did you fix your soft shell crab?
Are you by yourself this weekend?
Race is over......looks like Jr. will hold on to stay in the Chase!! Whew!
Good night to all turning in. Rest well. And hope those in pain wake upfeeling much better.
Linda, thanks for sharing the PA pics. :(
Popping back in to say goodnight and prayers for all!
Good evening everyone. This has been a great day at the Fifth Annual Crisco Family Gathering Away From a Funeral Home. 28 people here. And I have spent the evening with my baby boy. :)
Fabulous, Sharon !
As also for Jo, earlier, with her Family Gathering....
and sounds like you had a great time also, Lynn...
Great pictures, Wanda !
And now I go to see Hunter and his treasure-hunting pals...
be right back !
Picture of the boys is great, Shirley
and I am glad to read that you met Kiante....
hope this turns the corner for him....
I can send some "treats" to put into that rock pile...potato rocks, bread stick rocks, and all kinds of solid geometry rocks ☺
Lolly
hope that shower and bedtime helps to make you feel better
For when The United States of America was attacked on September 11 2001 the world wept.
I fly the FLAG of The USA in solidarity and with pride...LONG MAY SHE WAVE. God Bless the USA and all who live in it.
I had a nice visit with James the Wise...
he and his Dad and I did the Goodwill and McDonalds tour together, then the "boys" did their grocery shopping while I browsed the greeting card department
was fun to see that...watching them cruise the aisles and fill their grocery cart.
later I checked out James's school papers and his two library books..
one about Flags, and one about Mammals, mostly the Big Cats...lions, tigers, cheetahs;
It's ALL Non-Fiction for the Grandson ☺
Beautiful sentiment, Hoda
Beautiful avatar...
...as are many other 9/11 avatars appearing here this week
Lynn
Glad you enjoyed the movie...
am not surprised a bit...
sounds like a good cast!
sorry I am a slow read on the book, it might be a week or more before I finish it up...
I wish I hadn't missed seeing a few more folks before their bedtimes....
I do usually read and catch up before I start rambling
Prayers for Wellness amongst us, all the aches and pains...
sniffles and sneezes
MARGY It sounds like you had a wonderful visit with James and his Dad...are you going to be able to see them tomorrow? Is James soon going to come and spend time at your place?
WANDA I much appreciated your photos...BEAUTIFUL.
We're roaring towards the Triple SPLIT...
and the Moonglow on the nest via Still Cam is Nice!
Hoda:
Got tagged for a shift Sunday
10 am to 3 pm...was not in my plans, but...this is the way things work at work sometimes...
one other supervisor is out of town regarding, illness in her family...
so I will see James for a school pick-up Monday, and spend time in quiet reflection before and after work Sunday
Your paddling endeavour this evening sounded dreamy, Hoda....
I can SEE you on the water
Shirley:
I am so sorry about the basement water problems and downspout problems, and sure wish I could be there to help out!
I think tomorrow will be a time for reflection for all of us. Thank You for working on that day.I love ot hear how you relate with James The Wise and all the adventures you go on.
Hoping that Lori and Kate and the two dogs have arrived safely at Virginia Beach, and taken a stroll on the beach, watching the Moonglow !
Lynne,
thanks for the Full-Moon names, and I still hope to see Megan sneak on and say Hi!
Wondering how her gardens held up during these rains....
I am going to SPLIT before the SPLIT...
Good Night, Precious Pals....
