Good Morning on our Rainy Thread
Thanks Steve - first day of fall is here

So sadden with the rain due to all the
children looking forward to attending the Great Frederick Fair Kids Day may
not make it. No admission and good price
on the rides. One year this happened and
Fair Board changed it to a Saturday for them. No School because of the Fair today.

LORETTA loved the pictures on the nook and I love they want we comment on you picture I wish I know how to get mine like that there is someone else that post that easy do you know did you do something to make it that easy to post If you did you must share your secret I didn't have to jump hoops to post a comment on your blog

Mema Jo said...

I have gotten a late late start on my day - foot dr in about an hr. Just the
professional nail clipping.

When I return I will read earlier comments and catch up - Thelma you are
on the ball and Sharon that for asking about the cam.

Hi CarolAnne & Welcome!

Hoda & Dana talk with you later.

Good afternoon all.

Thank you Steve for the new thread. Thank you Thelma for the call-over.

Wanda, so happy the kitten has been adopted. Cool it gets along with the dogs.

Lori, sorry the boys are no longer together. Hope your heartsick boy adjusts quickly with your loving care.

Margy, not surprised you had a fun afternoon with James the Wise. Rock skipping? I never mastered that art.

Hoda, the mental image I have of you and the paddlers makes me laugh. Just had to have been great fun and I'm sure you all are a little sad to have the season end.

Lynn, Liesl's new joy -- attraction is novelty. Has nothing to do with foster mom. Liesl just likes toys.

Got a few tasks done this morning. Really need to settle into the research reading on terrorists. Just feel lazy with the steady rain and gloom. The sandperson's cousin, nappy, keeps whispering my name.

♪♫Monday, Monday, can't wait for you. Monday, Monday, make Dallas blue♪♫

Happy birthday to Marcus and to Julie. Hope you both have a day of lasting good memories.

Jo, speaking of fair being cancelled, the Mason District Fall Festival was canceled due to the excessive rain. Poor Darth. Had a multitude of phone calls to make this morning. Sorry for all the disappointed children.

Pot owl sleeping earlier. She's so pretty.

Maybe Friday's offer of free fare for the fair, will extend into tomorrow...may rain tomorrow, though. What are you going to do?:(:(

Costume Lady said...

Margy, JUST discovered your box of books in my car. Gene carried your clothes in and I didn't realize the box was missing. Oh, such WONDERFUL books. They children will love them. They are really into books and games. Many of them that are lucky enough to have a house, don't have a TV, so books and games keeps them entertained.
If you don't mind, I would like to keep the little Fire Engine book with wheels on it for Jayden. He will LOVE it!

Jo, I watched The Mentalist this morning! GOOD!!!!

Just checking in and catching up here on this new thread.

Bobby kitty's appointment has been moved up an hour to 2.

WNDA, very, very happy to hear about the black kitty getting a home with your neighbor. Well said, LYNN - No more cold winters outside!

Lori O. said...

JUDIE, very cute new version of "Monday, Monday."

JUDY E, I know you had fun at the park with Jordyn! I bet you're still smiling. I can't believe there's something you do NOT know how to post on your blog. YOU are the Einstein of blog posting with your videos and all! :)

Lori O. said...

Speaking of Redskins, I bought some team fleece to make dog tugs with for the Bully Rescue Kissing Booth! They'll be out at Clifton Days in a few weeks.

I saw the most adorable little kids during a torrential downpour at JoAnn on my way home. They all had brightly colored rain boots on - even Mom! Forgot the kids didn't have school today because of the fair.

JO, tell 'em to do your toes pretty!

Hoda said...

Getting ready to head out to yoga and then I will see you all when I come back. ENJOY THE DAY.

wvgal_dana said...

Thanks Hedgie-Lynn/e for the "Raptors" post. Very interesting. LOVE the part "where she is playing tearing up phone books. LOL

Lori O. said...

HODA, hope your yoga was good for you today. Still gloomy and rainy here.

Good Afternoon Miss DANA WV!

Just got back from the vet with Bobby. Had to go to the AWL vets just out the road. They put him on a broad spectrum antibiotic because he appears to have tummy problems and a mild fever. Hopefully, he'll feel better in a few days, but they said to call back Monday if he isn't acting better by then.

Judie said...

Lori, sure hope Bobby will respond to the antibiotic. Hate when our furry friends are not well.

Lynn, congrats on the new stereo. Can you move a lamp closer to the work area? It is a good rainy day project. Get Liesl to read the instructions to you.

Happy yoga, Hoda.

Headed to the raptor video.

A belated Happy Birthday to LINDA's Adam and to SHIRLEY's Kathryn !!! Happy 1st Birthday to dear baby Marcus !!!

Yes, this is Julie Kay's birthday and I thank all who sent her good wishes. Can't fix a birthday dinner for her tonight, but they'll get take out from one of our favorite spots bringing it here to enjoy together. The birthday girl will not have to cook.

LYNN and JUDIE, yes Malcolm acted as if he'd wondered if he'd ever see me again ! Dogs are so good for the ego !

LORI, happy you were able to get Bobby back for the additional TLC he needs. Guess he's kinda like NX was, just not quite ready to leave his familiar coop ! What a clever idea those Bully Tugs are ! You are talented !

Good thing Julie got me out in the sunlight yesterday afternoon for we're back to "grainy" weather--gray and rainy. No sun in the forecast til' next Wednesday.

Lynne2 said...

afternoon all...just wanted to pop in and give you the update on the car situation.

The dealer called m. He apologized all over the place, but the bottom line is that the title is not clear, and we can not only not get hard tags, but we have to take the car back because there is no chance of the title clearing. They'll refund all of our money.

I was not expecting this to happen. I figured the tags would be further delayed, but not this. SO, we will have only 1 car as of tomorrow and have to start the process all over again.

Lori O. said...

Oh KAY, that's wonderful that Julie and family will be spending her special day with you! After you give her a birthday hug, give her a second one from all the Momsters who are grateful that she is taking such great care of you! ♥♥♥

LYNN, thanks for the Raptor link and sharing Golda with us! I would absolutely love to see a Golden in my lifetime! Sounds like she's finally got a great home.

Lori O. said...

But LYNNE - put a bow on that car and say SOLD! Take the money and run. At least it's not all of the excuses and lies you had to deal with this week. (((BIG HUGs)))

wvgal_dana said...

Lori in a way it is good that Bobby came back to you. It might have went unnoticed until he really got bad. Praying the antibiotic helps the little furry guy.

Kay it has been great that you live near family. Julie has really been a Blessing. So HAPPY she won't have to cook on her BIRTHDAY!! ( :

Lynne2 sorry you will now have to be looking for another vehicle. Glad though you are getting all your monies back. Praying now that you and Steve find the right car.

Kay said...

LORI, thanks ! I will give Julie a hug for all of you ! She is so impressed with the strength of our friendships on this blog.

LYNNE, what a pain in the patoot to have to start all over on the second car you and Steve need. However, happy the dealer is doing the right thing !

Lori O. said...

DANA WV, that's sort of what the vets said. That he may have been sick for a while, but when LeRoy was adopted it became noticeable with just one cat in the crate. Thank you. He sends purrs.

Lori O. said...

KAY, looking at your avatar reminds me I need to buy more tulip bulbs! Can't believe it's that time already.

Happy birthday, Marcus and Julie.

hedgie said...

Lori, I got one of those tug ropes from Reach Out Rescue---yep, Redskin colors!!! It is very durable and Liesl likes it!

hedgie said...

I have the new stereo unit in place......but so much confusion with all the speaker wires. Bill wired me for sound with 3 sets of speakers plus the surround woofers or whatever they are called. He has so much stuff spliced together, plus running through the wall to the sunroom speakers.....can't figure out what's left and what's right!!! I can't use the new speakers because none of the stupid wires are plug- ins for any of them, so I am NOT going to attempt to re-splice! ARGH. I am starting over---after I cool off a bit!!
I also have CD's in the old one and can't get it to open!!!! Double ARGH!

stronghunter said...

Good luck, Lynn.

Lolly said...

I need to get out and get tulip bulbs. Had trouble finding them last year as we got home at the end of Oct. from our trip.

Lynne, so glad you are getting out from under that car! (Well, not literally!) Now, did you put new tire or tires on that car? I do think they should also reimburse you for any additional expense and repairs.

So glad Bobby is getting the antibiotics. Certainly hope they do the trick!

♥♥♥HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JULIE!!♥♥♥
♥ A truly great daughter!!♥

Kay said...

My older daughter, Eileen, just called with great news ! She'll be here from Oct. 7-11 ! Hope I'm much better by then, but if not, this will give Julie a nice break in Mama Care. I was planning to drive to her MI home next month, but it's clear I'll not be up to the drive anytime soon---so here she comes ! Yeah !

Hey, JIM ! It's good to hear you're enjoying such ideal weather !

hedgie said...

Whew---got the discs out! That makes me feel better!

Kay said...

LYNN, time to call Bill for some help ?

LOLLY n' DANA WV, thanks for your sweet words about Julie ! As LYNN said earlier, she is a Jewel !

Lynne2 said...

good point Lolly, we did buy a new tire.

Kay, glad you are getting a visit!

Good luck with the new sound system Lynn!

well, I am glad they are giving us our money back for sure. But trying to get both of us to work while trying to find another car....not good.

Gotta run...

hedgie said...

Lori, hope Bobby is on the way to recovery quickly!

Kay, so good to see you. How are you feeling? Hope Julie's favorite carry-out hits the spot for you!!!!
Know what you mean about grainy!!!

Lynne---I had a hunch that the problem was with the title! Grrrrrr.....I hope that you will be going to a different dealer to start over!

Lolly said...

Wow, Kay! Eileen coming, that is fantastic. You are going to mend fast with all this attention and care.

Lolly said...

Have done a lot to prepare for tonights dinner. Really looking forward to a fun evening.

If I do not get back til late, which is probably the case...I'll take atcha later!☺

Oh, Lynn, glad you got the disc out. Now come get the one out of our car. lol We need to take it to the dealer and say "fix it!"

Kay said...

LYNN, I'm feeling slightly better with each passing day. I think I was more seriously ill than I realized and that it's a good thing I went to the hospital when I did.

I'm running out of steam now and will take a nice long nap so I can enjoy the birthday festivities.

I'll try to get back tonight, but if not, will see you tomorrow. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Hi everyone. Just checking in.

Had my injection this morning and am a bit woozy from the valium pre-prep.

Teresa & Max are on their way here. Just hope they don't run into any areas within the flash flood warning areas just posted.

Prayers for all within the warning and watch areas. Also, for all my eagle friends.

I'll check back in when I can.
God bless!

Jim, we had the fog really heavy this AM---visibility was under 1/4 mi. It all turned to RAIN!
I would like your 80°. It's 69° here, for the high!

YAY, KAY is getting a visit from #1 daughter Eileen. I'm so happy you have such wonderful kids!

LOLLY, if you have problems finding tulips let me know...I know there are tons around here. You may also want to check your local WalMart. JudyE told me to say that - kidding...but WMart does have a good selection of tulips. All of mine came up last year.

Hello DIANN!

Enjoy that woozy-make-you-sleep-stuff while it's there! Glad you're in for some pain relief.

LYNN, how big is Leisl's tug? And how much does she weigh? Just thinking of sizes.

I ama fabric/color/textiles freak so this is a fun project for me.

hedgie said...

Oh, Kay....cool that Eileen is going to visit!

And Diann....Max and Theresa for the weekend! Great!
Will be anxious to know how your back is in the next few days.

Hoda said...

Lots of good positive entries in regards the car LYNNE and health Diann and weather JIM and part of the stereo story in getting the CD out...Too many wires sometimes is confusing LYNN. Judie yoga was good and it is just like summer here today...bright blue skies and a pleasant breeze off the lake and NO NEED for socks today.I'll go make a cup of tea and prepare lunch.

Very Happy that EILEEN is coming to visit KAY and that KAY will share take out Birthday supper with JULIE and family. Good solution to the cooking question.

I've got the new stereo hooked up to the appropriate speakers, a nd the sunroom speakers are now working! Still gotta figure out the surround sound! I'm getting there!! ROFL---Bill would be useless--he doesn't remember what he did last month let alone 5 yrs. ago!!!! And he gets VERY easily frustrated dealing with electronics!

Happy Birthday to Kay's JULIE!!

I have one of those tennis racket looking bug zappers I got it at work a long time ago works great also

I also watch Greys and loved it

Mema Jo Happy Birthday to your youngest grandson Marcus!!! Only one years old and your a great grand mom that is fantastic

LORI so sorry about the cats not being together

No rain today till just a little bit ago Our storms you can almost set the clock by afternoon heating makes them with the sea breeze and they are rolling in again Looks like they moved to the center of the state may turn out to be a nice eveing after all

Hoda said...

It is funny JUDIE in regards the practice last night. We were all hoping no one was videoing it...we knew we were being watched because there is a couple that have a very fancy house on the shores of the lake and they always blow the fog horn at us once per practice...they did that last night when half the boat was paddling forwards and the other half was paddling backwards...we were all working so hard and the boat was going NO WHERE in a hurry and they beeped the fog horn and we groaned and the coach said " let it rest" which meant we could wave back to them. They support our team and are enthused about our fund raising events...We still hope no one took a video...

JudyEddy said...

Two hundred and seventeen thousand dollars is the final judgement money that Casey Anthony has to pay back to Fl It was changed today OK back to news

Lolly said...

Oh, I do think a video of half of you paddling one way and the other half the other direction would be very entertaining!

I would LOVE to participate in the the paddling. I know you are really enjoying it.

Waiting for Brenda to arrive. Watching the news. Having a special day at the Dallas zoo tomorrow and they have a peguin named jazz on the news. Cool!

Good Evening Eaglebuds!!!!
Could not get online a work---busted as usual. Saw TWO foxes at Chelsea. Couldn't get pics of either :>(
One, very dark rust, with some even darker patches was running along shrubs at edge of pond & went around the corner. Other was definitely a red fox--had the white tail tip.Saw it thru front window, but I was on phone & couldn't reach camera.
I know everyone likes them, but I thought of Wanda.
JudyE, I eon't know if this is a real Blogger reason, but I've been on blog for 3 1/2 years--older, simple style. I noticed that in the past year +, I have had trouble doing comments & getting back arrow to get back in with the newer people who started their own blogs. Don't know why. BTW, I noticed after your last set of videos that there wasn't a Comment line! DUH

BTW, it's paw paw taste testing time! They almost all disappeared from the 63 I counted growing at Chelsea a month ago! Found a nice soft one Wed. that fell off in my hand. Cut it in 1/2--left part at work. It was still there, so I brought it home. Haven't eaten much, but quite sweet, sort of like mango.I heard they should be yellow, but I think that's the Inside color. The outside of this one was lime & gray.

Happy Birthday to Kay's daughter,Julie!

Hello everyone, Bird Girl just checking in!

Hoda said...

Hello Bird Girl and welcome. I have not met you before where are you from? What wildlife do you see around there?

Bird Girl said...

Hello Hoda. I'm one of the earliest Momsters, actually, I just don't get on the blog as much as I used to.

I am a wild bird rehabilitator in Arizona (hence "Bird Girl"!). We have many, many migratory birds here, including over a dozen species of hummingbird! The rescue group with which I am involved takes in songbirds, waterfowl, wading birds, and raptors (owls, hawks and falcons) as well as barnyard birds and exotic birds (parrots, etc.).

Girl at work has been having her car konk out once a week for the past 3. It's a used Saab. She had one thing done to it THREE times early in the year---fuel pump replaced. And the 3rd time that wouldn't work because it was out of gas!!DUH!! I guess mechanics can't read the 'structions anymore!

Hoda said...

Sorry Bird Girl your monikor was not familiar to me. Arizona must be beautiful with desert wild life. It sounds exciting where you work.

stronghunter said...

You would not have likely met Delphia, yet, Hoda. It has been awhile.

Bird Girl said...

I'm originally from Colorado, and getting used to the desert was a big change! I've learned to appreciate it for what it does have, which is a lot more than most people realize.

My rescue group, Fallen Feathers, is actually a 501(c)3 which I co-founded with my best friend over a decade ago. We started out with the two of us and a Great Horned owl education bird, and took in a few birds here and there. Now, we take in over 1000 birds a year, have several volunteers, and have several education birds. I'm actually a volunteer myself, I don't get paid. None of us do! It's hard, dirty and sometimes crushingly heatbreaking work, but completely worth it :)

Hi JudyE :) Yes, it really is amazing most of the time. All the good parts certainly outweigh the bad!

Strong, I am from Denver. Actual Denver, that is, as in the Capitol Hill neighborhood - not outlying areas LOL

stronghunter said...

My brother and his family live in Fort Collins.

Bird Girl said...

Strong, I spent a lot of time as a child in Laporte, just outside of the Fort, and I went to Colorado State University :)

stronghunter said...

My brother does research for the Department of Agriculture. I think he has some connections to CSU, although his employer is the Department of Ag.

Bird Girl said...

Very cool Strong. I went there for two years, before money ran out :( It's okay, because I am doing what I really always wanted to do, just for free LOL

stronghunter said...

It is nice that you are able to do that, Delphia.

Wonderful for the wildlife that there are people like you.

Bird Girl said...

Thanks, I appreciate that :)

Mema Jo said...

Tony Bennett is singing on Blue Bloods!!!

Tony is 85!!! Rare that they keep their voices so well with that kind of age!

Lynne2 said...

Sorry Liesl's tummy is acting up Lynn. Any ideas on why?

Lolly said...

Way to go, Lynne!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wahoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy Hoda! An official Momster! Though, you really were already a Momster.

Hi Delphia! Great to see you on here this evening.

Lynne2 said...

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Lolly said...

Had a great evening with Brenda. She is widowed, a retired teacher. She taught in the business dept at the hs. Did a lot of computer, technical teaching. She is a world traveler and we go to church together, raised our kids together. Anyway, it was fun having her over this evening.

Lynne2 said...

Congrats Hoda on becoming "official"!

Diann, if you check in....hope you are feeling better and that you know very soon if the injections worked today!

Very sad to read that there is no news of Hope yet....

Lynne2 said...

LOL! Don't think Lynn has noticed my new avatar yet, or maybe she is not speaking to me anymore!

Lolly said...

Heading to Denton late morning. Tomrrow we have baseball at noon and soccer at 3:00.

Lynne2 said...

Glad you had fun tonight with Brenda Lolly!

Lolly said...

I noticed that, Lynne.☺

Lynne2 said...

now Lolly, you do understand that my FIRST loyalty is with the STEELERS of course....LOL!

Lolly said...

Jack says it is hard for Redskin fans to get over thier COWBOY envy. lol

Sure wish Norma was on here. Maybe I should call her this weekend.

Hoda said...

Where is MARGY LYNN? I do not see any recent posts from her?
Did you see LYNNE 2 is doing the Cowboys too...oh oh???!!! LOL

Lolly said...

Yes, Lynne! I remember! Jack says to tell you he is glad you got it right on your second choice.☺

Lolly said...

67 here right now. Feels so great!

Lynne2 said...

Lolly, maybe while those RS fans are quiet, we can seduce Hoda over to OUR side!!

Lolly said...

We are AMERICA'S TEAM! Yes, Hoda you really should support AMERICA'S TEAM. lol

Lynne2 said...

FUNNY FUNNY story....woman comes in to work today, former client who's pet passed and now she has a new dog. Distinct accent. Asked her if she was from the Pittsburgh area and she said no, but is it my accent? I said are you from NEAR Pittsburgh? Well, she said, sort of, I am from

TERRA ALTA WEST VIRGINIA!!

Mema Jo said...

Lynn the only thing new to Liesl is her
toy... Anything swallowed or funny
material? Sure hope her tummy calms
down.

Lynne2 said...

Yes Hoda, I agree, we can be your AMERICAN TEAM!!!

Lynn's gonna kill us!

Lynne2 said...

aw poor Liesl, she must have just figured out she's a REDSKIN FAN!!!!! OMG!!! LOL! I'd have a bad tummy too! WOOOOPA!

LOVE YOU LYNN!!!!!

Lolly said...

Not afraid of Lynn!

Lolly said...

Yes, poor Liesl! Wonder what has upset her tummy. Not fun to have a sick pup.

Lolly said...

Oh, too funny Lynne! You hit on Liesl's problem!

Lynne2 said...

oh sure you aren't....she's 2000 miles away from you, but only 90 from me!!!

Lolly said...

roflmbo

Lynne2 said...

well, Lolly, I do work for a vet and the symptoms are pretty obvious...LOL!

OK, I'm just getting simple silly! Time to calm down!

Lynne2 said...

Hoda, I think Margy is working maybe.

Lolly said...

Where is Lynn? I really do hope Liesl is not continuing to be sick!

stronghunter said...

Good grief, the blog is littered with Cowboy avatars.

Lynne2 said...

well, we are taking the car back in the AM. I think that the dealer didn't know he got a car with a bad title. Doesn't make any sense that he'd knowingly buy a car at auction and sell it knowing the title wasn't clear. He has taken quite a loss. I think he handled US poorly, but that maybe he was trying to get the problem fixed for his sake as well.

Lynne2 said...

hey Lolly, I don't like the way Shirley worded that last comment...."LITTERED" with Cowboy avatars. Them's FIGHTIN' WORDS!

Lolly said...

But, if you are sure that is her problem she will continue to be sick! Oh, poor pup! Maybe we should rescue her. PPS Puppy Protective Services!

Hello...
breaking tradition here, have not read back to the older posts...
have a quick visit coming up Saturday evening afer work from my sister "Massachusettts Dorset" and her son, so I am playing a HUGE game of 52-pick up here.
Hope to catch up on the doin's here before bedtime, which is a ways off, but in the meantime
hope all is well,
offering early Prayers for Wellness...

and Good Luck, Lynne, on the car doin's .... did see where you are getting a full refund, and one tire I hope !!!

I'm headed for the shower !
Kinda foggy here, but the stars and Jupiter are still visible

God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥

Lynne2 said...

In all seriousness, I truly hope Liesl is doing better now. I don't want any sick puppies or mom's having to worry about it.

Lolly said...

Yeah, I did not like the way Shirley sounded, either. Let's just continue to wall paper this blog with our beautiful avatars!

Lynne2 said...

wow Margy, so nice your sister and son are coming to visit!

Lynne2 said...

good idea Lolly. And hey, maybe we could send Liesl some Redskin toys....TO TEAR UP!!!!

Bird Girl said...

Goodnight folks, great to catch up, however briefly. Most of you know how to reach me elsewhere anyway LOL

Lolly said...

Guess we should all be keeping an eye to the sky tonight! Never know what is going to fall out of the sky!!

Lynne2 said...

Delphia, I'm sure we'll be seeing much more of you on the blog as nesting season gets into full swing!

stronghunter said...

Margy, hoping that we don't see anything falling out of the skies this evening. I had to think of you and your sky watching when the news about the falling satellite came out.

Lolly said...

Night Delphia! Yep, we know where to find you on fb. Glad you peeked in here tonight.

Lynne2 said...

OH I forgot about the space debris.....I better stay in. With my luck I'd get clobbered!

Lynne2 said...

ah I see Shirley's Redskin influenced avatar has surfaced....

Lynne2 said...

Steve and friend Dave were fishing several years ago at Loch Raven Reservoir and saw a huge "thing" streak across the sky and explode! Scared the heck outa them!

stronghunter said...

The picture of Rus and Hunter was taken at the Redskins game, but it's hard to tell, so I had to change.

I do believe that Tom Selleck has lost weight. Nice date!!! Love me some Tom!

stronghunter said...

Can't lose with a cute kid in a team shirt.

Hoda said...

I just watched a Canadian Cowboy episode on CBC TV on the internet,It is called Heartland...I thought of the COWBOYS and then I find LYNNE and LOLLY stirring the pot and then in comes SHIRLEY stirring it even more...
Now in Canada we are supposed to be the peace keepers so I will try to remember my role...!!!LOL!!! I am staying out of this.

It feels pretty wonderful to be an official Momster. Thank You All.

Lynne2 said...

well gee Hoda, if you were watching a COWBOY something, it must be a sign!

Lolly said...

You have that right, Lynne. Hoda, listen to Lynne...she has some great advice. It must have been a sign!

hedgie said...

Thank the good Lord that Shirley has arrived. Where's Thelma????
I hardly think that Hoda would side with a bunch of yahoo Cowboys. Envious??? Of WHAT? A QB whose so dumb as to be involved with that dumb blonde what's her name??? You know the one---she doesn't know chicken from tuna???
Geesh!

hedgie said...

I did find some chenille rope things missing from the new toy. But they weren't in the variouis excreta.....no fever.....odor was AWFULLY disgusting.

Lolly said...

You know why blondes are not Redskin fans? They are smarter than that!

stronghunter said...

Welcome to the Momster fold, Hoda. We are so happy that you have joined us.

Lolly said...

Any change in her food, Lynn? I suspect not...wonder what? Poor Liesl and poor you having the worry!

Lynne2 said...

ROFLMAOA off!

Lynne2 said...

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

Lynne2 said...

any diarrhea Lynn? Is she interested in food? Is she lethargic?

Lynne2 said...

not to change the subject...but the SBBC is MUCH lower tonight. Only about 30!!

OH, I forgot....after I shut down last night, I went up to the shower, and outside the bathroom window was a CICADA KILLER, and I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was eating a STINKBUG! Got some pictures, haven't put them on the computer yet.

stronghunter said...

Just found a nice message on a game site I have been using. Only thing was, it was in French. I put it on a translator and it was beautifully translated. I haven't always had good luck with the translator programs.

Asked me about Hurricane Irene.

Lolly said...

Oh, gross! Cicada killers have disappeared from here and so have the armadillos. Wahooo! Better knock on wood! Now if I could just get rid of the moles!

stronghunter said...

I found a stinkbug in the kitchen the other day, and Kathryn had one land on her at work. We still haven't had the huge invasion some of you are enduring, though.

Maybe the family of praying mantises on my front porch has taken care of our stinkbugs.

Hoda said...

Well I can see that Monday night is going to be HIGHLY CHARGED around here!!! Several salvos have already been fired tonight...what can I say? From 1967 I am still trying to figure out how ANY of the teams can run with those really tight pants they wear!!!LOL!!!

Lolly said...

That is really neat, Shirley. I suppose you responded and they will have to use a translator, too.

Lolly said...

roflmbo Hoda...you are hilarious!

stronghunter said...

One of my bridge club friends went to Texas and said she really wanted to see an armadillo. I thought of you, Lolly.

Lynne2 said...

I've got to get to bed, but I wanted to share this peppy little ditty from Makem and Clancy, 2 of my Irish favs...

All God's Creatures Got A Place in the Choir

Lynne2 said...

Hoda, again...you are a HOOT!

Hoda said...

Good SB count for tonight LYNNE. I am also thinking of you and Steve a lot hoping that the car return is not with any surprises...I will feel a lot better when you have your money.

hedgie said...

Lynne, it IS a small world, after all!

Margy, so nice that Dorset is coming to town (that is NOT Dorsett, Lolly and Lynne!). Do you have the day off? Is she just passing through, or going to stay awhile? Bet James would like to see her.

stronghunter said...

I responded in English. Maybe the other person can read it.

Mema Jo said...

I am going to get ready to bed down!
It's been a good day - thinking of all
who need wellness - praying for all of us to have happy moments in our lives.

Margy enjoy your sister's visit. I know
you have pics on your profile from your
visit with James up to see her.

Good Night All
God Bless and Keep you
