The sun is shining! Happy almost last day of September. Slow morning here. Hope everyone has a great day...that you get to see the sun shine...that the aches and pains are all better.
Good Morning! Good to see Thelma, Sharon, and Lori here! Hello to everyone!
Thank you, Steve, for the new thread, and thanks to Thelma for the call over.
Uh, Sharon, LOVE your avatar! Nice!
Lori, I'm so glad to hear that you now have LeRoy at your place, too! Your tender loving care will help to speed his recovery. Glad that Andie is fine, and enjoying her kitty "apartment" at the rescue.
I've got a ton of transcription work this morning, but wanted to drop in and say "Howdy." Better get back to work now, but will check back in later. HAGD, everyone! :o]
Exciting News! 2 eagles were seen together at the 2011 nest this morning. 1 was actually sitting in the nest, the other was perched on a branch nearby. How's THAT for a good start to the day? :)
Judie, my opinion of Harry's Law---they are making it more a comedy show than a drama.....and making a mockery of the legal system. Bet it won't be back for a third saeson.
Person that mows my lawn got here as it was sprinkling. They got the lawn mowed for the week.
Can't understand neighbor that uses the same people. Now they have told them to only mow their lawn every other week. The way this grass is growing this year. That should look nice. Mine mowed and theirs high. I can't understand it she has more money than I do to work with each month!!! grrrrr
I can still come up and visit the nest and you all just not the gift shop Would have been nice to see what they had but I can order online I want to get the sweatshirt with Liberty on it
Jordyn is down for a early nap We went to the new park and it wasn't up to expectations it was rather small and made for younger ones NOW of course her age but its not a challenge for her when she is use to the bigger playgrounds so we didn't stay long she said she was sleepy and wanted to go home funny kid she is
Angie did say she work up at 1230 and was crying her eyes out maybe bad dream Angie couldn't figure it out. so maybe not enough rest last nite I think she may be coming down with something she is sneezing her head off today and Angies noticed it yesterday also
Mema Jo does the 2 older grandkids just do the Veggies or do they Vegan? I am surprised the way Alexis likes your meatballs that she would change. Wonder what brought this wanting to be vegetarian on?? Maybe some kids at school you think?
Hi, Jim! Check out that San Diego video above your post----maybe you could go watch them sometime when you're at your sister's!!! LOL---Jim has given us another new word for the dictionary: fojjy!!!! That would be appropriate for the Finland fjords!!
I would suspect that with Alexis' eating habits that maybe she just met someone who is a veggie. Dana both Aaron and Taylor are Vegans - They have been for some years now.
My daughters friend his wife has been a Vegan for years. No milk products, no meat products, I can not remember what else. She is a very strick Vegan. There a supplements she takes. Due to being a Vegan you will lack protein and some other vitamins. Oh no mac and cheese for her---that is a no no !!!!!
LYNNOh just totally awesome that was the best video there is I want to do that Its just so amazing WOW so neat I can't wait for Jordyn to show her the hawk she will says its a eagle I know but thats ok Thanks for sharing that I want to do that it is on my BUCKET LIST
JudyE Thanks for the link you put for the videos at YOUTUBE.
Margy I am not a fast reader. Remember you have to go into work. I'm at home..more time that is all. It was a GREAT book, was sort of surprised at the ending.
Yes, Dana is the 30 yr old who cut his hair recently! Not sure what supplements he takes - He should know health wise what to do - he is a well read person and keeps up to date.
Several birds, including turkey vultures, red-shouldered hawks, and bald eagles, were removed from their cages I hope the prosecutes him to the highest He basically has killed the birds by releasing them so SAD
A PAIR of eagles in the NBG nest!!! That is the best news I've heard this entire gray week! Thanks for posting that SHARON! That'll make me smile all day. :))

JudyE---follow that story if you can, please.....hope he gets hit with federal charges because of the eagles involved....idiot doesn't even describe him well enough....
Lori, some of the bears up there are already starting the denning process. They will probably "dig in" so to speak within the next few of weeks. Cubs are usually born in Jan. And yes, adult bears and older cubs will emerge occasionally through the winter to excrete, and probably just to stretch! Mama's, of course, will come out if there is danger to the den. They will "un-den" as soon as the weather permits any food availability.....probably around March.
Rain cleared out and sun is shining and wind is blowing. Temp has dropped to 68....leaves are falling in the breeze and it looks, smells and feels like fall. :( I don't like it one bit.
Lori, have not heard if NABC has any plans to try to set up a den cam again this year or not. I kind of have some doubts. Lily isn't preggers...and they don't know yet where she will hole up....MTBR in the weeks ahead.
Here's something I found interesting. I am reading a book called The Lost Land of Z about an explorer who disappeared during a quest for this place in the Amazon. Doing the research for the book, the author was reading stuff about the Royal Geographic Society and it mentioned a cousin of Darwin by the name of Francis Galton who described a nervous breakdown as "sprained brain." I love it!!
Will have to catch up on your posts later, but wanted to give a quick report on today's doc appt. Port still in pending blood work, but hopefully will get the green light to have the Home Care nurse remove it tomorrow. He was confident enough to have me go ahead and pick up a two week oral anti-biotic Rx on the way home. He says fatigue and weight loss are to be expected due to such a severe infection and not to worry. As long as all other body functions are normal, it's no biggie. Will have a c-t scan next week and, unless it or the blood work sends up an alarm, I am to see him on October 26th. Meantime, I am "free to move about the country". Right now I'm too pooped to pop. Julie and the guys are bringing dinner in about 6. That and the nap I just had will get me goin' again. Thanks so much for all the Momster prayers ! There is no doubt they helped me get through the rigors of this day. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Western, MD and some WV counties may see flakes by Sat. evening.....think that includes where Lynne's in-laws live! ARGH---hey, kids, stay home this weekend!
WhooHoo, Kay...I was just wondering WHEN we would hear from you! Sounds like an EXCELLENT report. What's on the menu for your meal? Great that you've napped and hope that you appetite is revved!
Lynn, two great stories you posted today. I fear heights, but that parahawking looked fabulous. Then the story about the immature eagle at the zoo was great. Peter to the rescue!
I have spent all day outside even though it did get to 100 today. Very low humidity so it was not too bad out. Did hear the firetrucks head out. Do not like that. We have volunteer fire dept just a half mile away.
LOL, Sharon! If only!!! Cousin FB'ed me for my address, and said "don't feel obligated"----ARGH! I've never met his kids....and haven't even seen him since his Dad passed in '03. And he hasn't carried out the financial agreement that his Dad had for my Mom. Gall, right??
Do not feel obligated, Lynn. However, if you really feel like you need to in order to feel better, get a gift certificate for no more than $20 or $25. That would be more than generous under the circumstances. JMHO
Hoda, yes, that lady is to be admired. Wish I had the gift of languages. I think it a real shame that I do not speak other languages, but it is a talent.
Hedgie-Lynn/e I like Sharon's answer. I would send nothing since you don't even know them. Surprising they are asking. Our relatives don't do that when they are not close (Ed's relatives).
If you send Lolly's answer then you do feel obligated!!!!
Hoda that is very nice that the lady in her seventies wants to learn English. Very nice for you to be her teacher....she will learn very well from you. ( :
You've all convinced me....I'm just going to send a card!!! I'll get over the obliged feeling real quick, believe me!
Hoda, so sweet of you to help out the "foreigner" in your town!!! Bet you'll make a new lifelong friend! Go to your search bar and type in YouTube of Lily and Faith...maybe you can see it that way....?
SNOWFLAKES??????? WOO HOO! We were planning on going this weekend, but I told Steve last night that I really wanted to stay home and take care of some things around the house. It wasn't to be a good weekend for outside work as the high is 44 for Saturday with 50% chance of precip. Not much inside stuff left to do. Would love to visit but....need to be productive.
I'm still at work, gonna be here a bit longer!
Lynn, NO MONEY, no gift. Wouldn't send a card either JMHO but you don't even know this person and no contact with father since 03? I think not....
going to sign off now....think I may not get back here at home this evening. Need to get right to shower and bed. So, if I don't see ya...good night and prayers for all! I'll try to check in tomorrow from work!
LOL, Hoda....I had "foreigner" in quote marks as in tongue-in-cheek humor!!! I could have called her a transplant, which is what those of us here who aren't native WV'ians are called all the time--- in a derogatory kind of way. :(
Paula, if you have sunshine at the moment, I'm coming to visit! Full-on dark here now!!! And I'm fairly sure it gets dark there a few minutes earlier than here!!
Any mouse-in-trap???? I wonder if Nick spends all day chasing that little bugger??!!
Good Evening Eaglebuds! Been loafing and glued to the Dr. Conrad Murray trial all day on TV. Very fishy stuff.
Read some of today's and see Kay is much better according to Dr. Congrats!!! Love Sharon's wedding present suggestion for Lynn's distant cousin. Should keep him distant! LOL
Lolly I did not see houses, but I zoomed in enough to see clear images of interstate numbers and sections of the map. Tell me again whic section yiou are in...no houses here on my map though...The new fires are 15 with 6 old fires...will it ever end? Is there a fire close to you or Laurel?
My buddy, Ron Parton, had surgery today and found out he has stage IV colon cancer with metastases. Please keep him, his partner Todd and his family in your prayers. CANCER SUCKS!!!
Took Nick for his last booster tonight. There was another dog in the waiting area barking, scared the crap out of Nick, he slipped his collar in the parking lot, but I was able to get it back on him OK....I tightened it up one notch...Oh and Nick gained 2 more lbs!
KAY so glad to hear from you prayers will always continue for you as all on the blog
LYNN I would just send a card with a big congratulations on their future together JUST A CARD
HODA what a angel you are to help with her English
Someone needs to set up barriers between the states that sandman seems to travel all over the world without a issue LOL and I feel he is calling me to so the borders aren't protected
Lynn, Vet's place is back off the road...he did go behind the car in the parking lot, but he came back. Oh, and the dog barking inside was a rescue, too! He was a cute guy! Scared another dog that came in too...just boisterous ☺ Ya had to laugh...Nugz did that when we were in there one time too ☺ Woofed at all the dogs that came in.
hello! Got home a little while ago, just wanted to report many glow worms are out tonight! these are the larvae of the summer firefly eggs and will soon be burrowing underground to pupate and come out as adult fireflies next summer! Very cool!
Paula, OMG so glad Nick didn't get into any trouble while on the loose!
also sorry to report that one of the juvie crows that have been delighting me at work apparently took a header into the yard next to the parking lot. Bummer. But now I'll have a crow skull. I left it, and was just going to pick it up on my way out tonight. BUT, friend Tracey brought her dog in for it's boosters this evening and came in the door with it asking if anyone could help her bird. OMG!
Luna slipped out of her collar today, too, Paula. I had put her out back on her lead and checked on her before I sat down. She was lying on the back porch. A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. It was my neighbor from across the street who said that there was a basset hound loose and in the yard next door. She knew we kept our bassets on leashes.
I looked on the back porch and there was the collar attached to the lead. No Luna.
I went out with the collar and a leash and found the neighbor with Luna. She was making sure everything was okay. I told her that Luna is blind and that I really appreciated her help.
Lynne I've never seen glowworms, maybe because, I live here "in town." But am sure glad you are seeing them, and any and all manner of wildlife. Sorry about the crow.... they are really neat birds
G☺☺d Report from Kay... very good, hope all continues to go well Thanks, God, you do good work, and I don't think you mind being bombarded by Momster Prayers ♥
Glow worms would be seen under trees or along a tree line where adults were seen in the summer. It's pretty cool to walk along and see the little glowing spots! The larvae...well, not so cute.
I have link for Wundermap that has fire among other events. What is showing for Bastrop, TX now is perimeter of area that has burned---orange oval.Current fires would be orange upside-down teardrop flames. You can change or view Under Fire on Right column, the legends, data, etc. that you want. Has tornados, etc. Can put city, state, address, in top Search box first.
oh yes they do....UGH! And what's with wearing bedroom slippers to Walmart???
Terra Alta forecast...it's gone downhill since last I checked
Saturday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 43. Northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Saturday Night: A chance of rain showers before 1am, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Sunday: A chance of rain and snow showers before 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Our temps are only going to be in the 50s for highs and low 40s for lows. I'm worried this will not be conducive to the development of my Monarch chrysalis. There are only 2 that i could safely move...the ones on the daylillies, and put them in a critter carrier inside. The others I can't move. UGH.
Going to hit the shower and get to bed. early long day tomorrow. Tummy a bit angry. I've been eating SO well for the last 2 weeks. But today, along with pretty much everyone else at work, I caved and had some M and Ms. Not sitting too well. Hopefully that's all and not a bug. Steve is ailing too.
Shirley, so glad you got Luna back! Don't worry about pj's. More civilized than "pants on the ground"!! Paula, glad you got Nick back, too! Little rascals! Lynne, TY for your info on glow worms. Don't think I've ever seen them, but guess we have a day or two to look until they dig for cover! ☺
PAULA When I zoom in and go to the max it tells me they are sorry they have no map for this level of a zoom. I am OK with it because I like the pictures I have seen of LOLLY's and JACK'S house on FB and her blog...the garden is BEAUTIFUL.
Guess what....it is raining!!!! And, still north of us so we have lots coming! Happy Dance!!! Happy Dance!!! It is raining all over my yard!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have managed to get caught up again tonight. Trying to get this "dinosaur" laptop to behave. It's doing that thing again where you type a word, and it takes a few seconds to appear. Guess I need to do a scan with Norton 360 tonight. Have 1 more report to transcribe, but can't stand to work with this going on!
Kay, WONDEFUL news from the doctor! Prayers continue for a speedy recovery!
Sharon, (((HUGS)))!!! Prayers nonstop for Ron, and for Todd!
Shirley, prayers for you for tomorrow. Waiting to hear a good report! Oh--SO glad you got Luna home OK! That little rascal!
Paula, glad Nick didn't take off on you! Good that he's got all his boosters now, and has gained a bit of weight!...ad YAY! No more mouse!
Hi, Margy! Did you have to testify in court again today? Say, like your avatar!
Lynne2, prayers for you and Steve! Don't you dare catch something! That's not allowed! Hope you rest well tonight, and feel better tomorrow. I like your glow worm story!
Well, think I will call it a night, before this dinosaur drives me nuts! (Margy, I'm sure you know what I mean!) Need to do a scan, and restart. Prayers are said for everyone, and for all those creatures in need of prayers, too. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sweet dreams, everyone. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you!:o]
Good to see our latecomers! Lynne, please don't be getting sick! So glad you are staying home this weekend!
Margy, hope your book puts you to sleep!! You don't get enough!
Loretta, When do the kids come back from their respective trips?
Shirley, is your procedure early? Please check in when you get home...or have Kat post on FB that all is well! Another Whew re: Luna's escape! What's the latest on the fence??
Does it mean that if it rains in TX, it will snow in WV/MD?
Today was a good day - dinner was with son's family - they helped put out the fall decorations in/outside. I love fall - Can't imagine 40° - better be 'with sunshine'!
Prayers for all our friends' friends. It is time for cancer to disappear off the face of the earth. Causes too much pain and sorrow.
Guess what I managed to do? MESS up the wedding card!! Pen started to run out of ink....switched and the colors of blue didn't match!! Used blue because the lettering itself was in blue! Drat! Will have to pick up another one between now and Monday!!
Lolly, a little is better than none! Congrats!!!! Did you dance in the rain???
Hi, Jo! Glad you had another family guest for dinner! You are the hostess with the mostest!
Andy, hope the dinosaur is better for you in the morning.
Heading for the tub. WIll check in before I shut down. Prayers for all and just remember this: "I came for the eagles but I stayed for the friendships I have made!"
Glad you found it, Paula. Isn't that neat to look at it that way? Yes, lots of pools but none in our yard. Sigh..... However, in the back yard, which you can not see because of the trees, we have two small ponds. LOL
Heading off to bed a little early tonight...getting up early to get my do done. Hoping they can use my hair for Locks of Love, but it's doubtful...too many split ends. GG is elated, she has been after me to cut my hair for 2 years now...hope she likes it:)
ANDREA, my 'puter has been acting up just as yours is...type a word and it doesn't appear for 30seconds or more:( Going to shut everything down in the morning and leave it off for a few hours, that usually helps.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE SWEET DREAMS PRAYERS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS & THEIR FRIENDS

Good news Eagle-Eyed. : )
Good morning! Slow morning...did not take me too long to catch up.
Lori...you have LeRoy and that is good, but does that mean that his adoptive family have given him up because he got sick?
Joseph and Jacob will never become vegetarians. Just wish it was not a struggle to get get Jacob to eat veggies. lol
Joseph is funny. He always eats his vegetables first...to get it over with he says. Too funny!
Lynn, I see a really mean streak in you. First you "hate" and then you wish to "drown". I am worried about you.
How is Liesl this morning? Sounds like she was doing well last night.
Well, we are off to church to water the garden. Talk at you later!

Shar---great news about the eagle pair!
And right...hope JudyE sees your post about the difference between NCTC gift shop and Paula's merchandise.
Dana both
Aaron and Taylor are Vegans - They have been for some years now.
At family gatherings I tell my 2 vegans to bring a dish for themselves unless we have mac/cheese and veg tray on
the table.
Mema Jo do Aaron and Taylor take the extra vitamins? Is Aaron the grandson that cut his hair?
My daughters friend his wife has been a Vegan for years. No milk products, no meat products, I can
not remember what else. She is a very strick Vegan. There a supplements she takes. Due to being a Vegan you will lack protein and some other vitamins.
Oh no mac and cheese for her---that is a no no

Yes, Dana is the 30 yr old who cut his hair recently! Not sure what supplements he takes - He should know
health wise what to do - he is a well
read person and keeps up to date.
I was surprised how easy it was withyoutube may use it more
I need to get back to news I can't type and listen at the same time and really get in to the news BBIAFM
Just on the news local man releases injured birds from park where they were being treated so sad IDIOT he is They say he posted a hour long video of it and that is how they found him
Several birds, including turkey vultures, red-shouldered hawks, and bald eagles, were removed from their cages I hope the prosecutes him to the highest He basically has killed the birds by releasing them so SAD
Lunch anyone?
Want another nest to watch???
Jo and Judie and Loretta will appreciate this one, I'm sure!!
PIX Controller has done it again!
Squirrels

Also interesting about the eagle that wants a "free lunch at the zoo".
Just went and check on Jordyn she was in there moaning but asleep myst be dreaming
Watch Lily and Faith bathe!!!! Beautiful.
Bathing beauties
WOW is it windy at Decorah
OMG LYNN! That is a must save video for sure. I put it on my favorites bar! The bird would be the only reason I would ever do it and I certainly wouldn't look down, but I could watch that video everyday.
I' gonna take Jordyn to the Boyd Hill park that may be interesting Need to google the address etc Looks like in the area they live in
Wonder if this is their "last bath" before denning for the winter?
The Cedar Swamp is just the right size for Lily and Faith! Makes my heart ache for Hope!
LYNN, when do the usually go into hiberation and when do they come out again?
Lori they actually come out during hibertion and go back in.
JudyE---follow that story if you can, please.....hope he gets hit with federal charges because of the eagles involved....idiot doesn't even describe him well enough....
Thanks goodness they have recovered all but one. Whew!
Thank you Lynn and WVDana. Just comparing their "screen time" to the eagles time on camera...when the cams are up, of course.
hello! popping in from work...busy busy day!

Ok I don't think I would want my tongue printed LOL Would you???
OMG---this oughta be good---DC weasther guy is going to talk about "the first snow flakes of the season in the metro area"------NO WAY, JOSE!!!!
And DanaWV, did you know that every whiskered dog or cat (and maybe other mammals as well for all I know) has a different pattern of whiskers?
Wonder what Shirley is up to today? I fear we've lost her to the bowling alley!
I am returning right before dinner
Thank you Lynn for the Squirrels galore & More Cam
Pretty red pandas are out and about.
Kay that is the news we have all been
waiting to hear! You are mending well ♥
Decorah cam
Could someone clue me in - I see the adult BUT what/who is the young bird that is feeding It's their 3 eaglets
THIS MUST BE A FILM.......
Whatever - it is an Eagle fix!
I get emails when to look at that nest
I am just baffled as to what the date is
Time for dinner.......bbl
Need some help, please. If sending money as a wedding gift to a 2nd cousin I've never met, how much would be appropriate?
About $2.67 would be appropriate!
JMHO
I do like Sharon's answer!!!☺
KAY very good report on health issues and I hope it continues to be positive. Very pleased for you and prayers continue.
LYNN I could not open the LILLY and FAITH youtube video...it just would not load for me. I would have liked to see it.
Very good productive morning meeting and a very enjoyable yoga class. There was a woman from Québec who could not speak English so I translated some and the teacher demonstrated the poses and she followed along fine. She is in her late seventies and came to Nelson to practice her English...We will go for coffee next week simply to practice...I admire her courage, she will be here for the winter, it is her winter project to learn to use her English language...cool eh??? I also saw a car with NEW MEXICO plates today. Most of the tourists have already left so it was good to see someone from away.
Grey's and PP tonight! Wahooo! A night to vegg once again.
LYNN as to the wedding gift, I like LOLLY's answer.
Kay so HAPPY about the doctors report. Not stopping prayers until after return doctors appointment October 26th HUGS
Hoda, yes, that lady is to be admired. Wish I had the gift of languages. I think it a real shame that I do not speak other languages, but it is a talent.
NOT A LINK At Decorah that is a video not the LIVE FEED. It says at the top "Channel if OFF LINE". Meaning no live feed at this time.
Good evening everyone!
Just checking in before heading off to sandman territory. No nap today,so it's time.
LYNN, he said "Don't feel obligated." So, don't feel obligated. Nervy of him IMHO.
Hooray for KAY. That's a great report! We miss you, a lot! ♥
HODA, very, very nice of you to help the lady with her English. You're wonderful.
Better go before I have to challenge Wanda to a face plant face-off!
Sweet dreams all. You are loved!
Good night, Lori!!! Sleep well.
Hello everyone! So glad to see that most are here and doing good. And Kay, so happy that you are feeling a little better.
Lynn, I would send $5. He has some balls, but on the other hand you will do for your children no matter what.
So devastated by little Hope's death. She turned the world upside down and changed the lives of Dr. Lynn and Sue too. What a loss.
LYNN she is not really a foreingner. She is a born and raised Canadian from Québec. In comparison I am still the foreigner since I was not born in North America. I respect and admire the courage to learn in her late seventies and to be away from her family for the winter...They teach English in schools in Québec, but it is possible to live in Québec without needing to use it at all...She wanted teh opportunity to practice...I remeber doing the same thing when I was in my teens and twenties, she is in her late seventies...WOW!!!
Hi Suz! Hope you are doing well!
HEDGE-LYNN/E YOU HAVE YAHOO EMAIL
going to sign off now....think I may not get back here at home this evening. Need to get right to shower and bed. So, if I don't see ya...good night and prayers for all! I'll try to check in tomorrow from work!
Sleep well Lori our early morning person ( :
Night to you to Lynne2...hope you are feeling ok.
LOL, Hoda....I had "foreigner" in quote marks as in tongue-in-cheek humor!!! I could have called her a transplant, which is what those of us here who aren't native WV'ians are called all the time--- in a derogatory kind of way. :(
Hedgie-Lynn/e GO BACK TO COMMENT AT 7:02pm
Wow, I think the rain has finally departed! WHOOOO HOOOO
Pretty blue sky...and sunshine! Finally! ☼☼☼☼
Paula, if you have sunshine at the moment, I'm coming to visit! Full-on dark here now!!! And I'm fairly sure it gets dark there a few minutes earlier than here!!
Any mouse-in-trap???? I wonder if Nick spends all day chasing that little bugger??!!
BBL...time for Jeopardy.
LYNN ;^)!!!
Mr Mouse is history! Hope he was the only one!
Lynn, I was talking about this afternoon! And I get dark before you, I am more east!
Oh, and the sun sets earlier at the beach house, too....by 9 minutes!
Hello, Suzan, good to see you!
Wahoooo! Glad the mouse is history!!
Kay, wonderful Dr report! Glad you are on the mend!
Cool, I didn't know that about tongues or whiskers!
Great news about 2 eagles at NBG.
Thanks for the lily video, the squirrel cam and the parahawking...checking them out now...
not a link PAULA YOU HAVE MAIL PLEASE
Paula, I was kidding you about sun shining at that moment! And I DID say it gets dark there before here!!
Suzan, good to see you check in! How's everything in NC?? Hope you are feeling well.
Hooray---mouse is gone!! Hoping he was a loner, for your sake, Paula!
Oh Lynn, I misread that...and I know you were kidding ☺
Dana, sent it back!
HODA YOU HAVE MAIL
Hoda....on the Texas fire page, you can zoom in until you are right on our house. Wish I think of a way to direct you to it.
Same with Wundermap, you can see our house and land so clearly!
LOL
MR MOUSE is gone from PAULA AND NICK KINGDOM!!! That is good.
Thanks DANA for the email and I wrote you one back.
Lolly I will try the zoom thing, I will get back to you with the result of what I see.
TV 2 hrs BBL
I got it Hoda ( :
Lolly I did not see houses, but I zoomed in enough to see clear images of interstate numbers and sections of the map. Tell me again whic section yiou are in...no houses here on my map though...The new fires are 15 with 6 old fires...will it ever end? Is there a fire close to you or Laurel?
There is one of the old fires on the Texas Oklahoma Border...I have not heard of fires in Oklahoma this year...
My buddy, Ron Parton, had surgery today and found out he has stage IV colon cancer with metastases. Please keep him, his partner Todd and his family in your prayers. CANCER SUCKS!!!
Prayers, Sharon. Cancer does suck.
My medical procedure has been rescheduled. It is tomorrow. Not expecting any problems. It should be routine.
Prayers Sharon.
Good luck and keep us posted SHIRLEY.
Sorry to hear that, Sharon. Cancer sucks!
I am so tired tonight watching GA and PP nest so I am saying good night Jordyn wants to see the monkeys so we will see the monkeys tomorrow

Hoda, we are in Briaroaks. It is just off hwy I35, south of Fort Worth and South of Burleson.
There are no fires near Laurel nor myself.
How scary, Paula! Sure glad he didn't take off!
I'd sure appreciate a link to the firemap again...can't find it in my favs. Thanks in advance!
Shirley, guess doc had a cancellation? Cool----you don't have as much time to stew about it!
Prayers continue for Ron, Sharon. :(
Loretta, glad you had a relaxing day!
Shirley, good luck tomorrow.
Just saw this story on AOL NEWS. When page opens, scroll down for story. After it are pics of NZ baby cheetahs and other neat stuff! ☺
Baby Pandas Snuggle
Glow worms are very interesting.
Your neighbor lady is an ANGEL, Shirley...glad everything worked out okay ♥
Lynne
I've never seen glowworms, maybe because, I live here "in town."
But am sure glad you are seeing them, and any and all manner of wildlife.
Sorry about the crow....
they are really neat birds
Hello Evening Eagle Pals xoxo
G☺☺d Report from Kay...
very good, hope all continues to go well
Thanks, God, you do good work, and I don't think you mind being bombarded by Momster Prayers ♥
Sharon
I am sorry of the tough news with your friend Ron...
Prayers continue, for a miracle, and for comfort and peace as well.
LYNN LOLLY'S TEXAS FIRE REPORTS
well, BAD LUNA!
Glow worms would be seen under trees or along a tree line where adults were seen in the summer. It's pretty cool to walk along and see the little glowing spots! The larvae...well, not so cute.
Yes, I got Luna safely home. My neighbor has a dog, too.
I did have to run through the yard next door in my pajamas, but plenty of people go out in public wearing pajamas on purpose.
Tomorrow, is of course
RED FRIDAY - lay your red things out tonight...put 'em on in the morning
God Bless Our Military....♥
I have link for Wundermap that has fire among other events. What is showing for Bastrop, TX now is perimeter of area that has burned---orange oval.Current fires would be orange upside-down teardrop flames. You can change or view Under Fire on Right column, the legends, data, etc. that you want. Has tornados, etc. Can put city, state, address, in top Search box first.
WunderMap Interactive Radar
Hope that works.
Cool that you can be in your pajamas any old time these days, Shirley...
oh yes they do....UGH! And what's with wearing bedroom slippers to Walmart???
Terra Alta forecast...it's gone downhill since last I checked

Shirley
I slipped you a little email about the package you sent for James ☺
Thanks LOLLY. I am glad you and your family are OK from the fire activity.
Hoda, you just have to zoom in more to see the houses....
Lolly, what letter does your street name begin with? I can't find my address list.
Such great news from NBG! YAY!
Good night, prayers for all! Especially Sharon's Ron, and Kay, and for no problems with Shirley's procedure tomorrow.
BTW Margy....if you HAD glow worms, they will eat slugs!!! They will actually follow a slug trail to find them!
Don't recall seeing Linda today..
Linda: This avatar is for you, I know you might not want to see any more tomatoes, but, well...this just reminds me of you ☺
Lynne...I sure do hope you and Steve are not getting sick.....but, there ARE some things going around these days....
LOL Margy.....and YOU are one HOT TOMATO!
Lynne:
Next year, I will be importing Glowworms, and Lady Bugs !!!
Ummmm I am guilty of running up to the store in my slippers...but they are flip flop slippers...does that count ☺
..in my dreams, Lynne....but thanks for the vote of confidence !
Headed to bed soon here also...
well, reading first, sleep later..
Prayers for Wellness and Joy....
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Watching Greys but also monitoring the radar. Storms in Ft Worth and headed south. Hope Hope Hope it reaches us!!!! That would be soooo nice!
Thanks, Margy. Glad James liked the book and puzzle.
I am going to head up to bed now. See you tomorrow.
Paula....T
Whoo Hoo Lolly has rain all over
her yard! What a good going away gift for Monday morning
Lolly, ta or tr
Yay for rain for Lolly!
Good Evening, Everyone!
TR Paula, sent you an email.
Time to call it a day~~~~
Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Rain has slowed down, so it has not been a great lot. Loads of thunder and lightening. I think I was hearing Shirley bowling!!!
Thanks for the link, Hoda!!!
Today was a good day - dinner was with
son's family - they helped put out the
fall decorations in/outside. I love fall - Can't imagine 40° - better be 'with sunshine'!
Prayers for all our friends' friends.
It is time for cancer to disappear off the face of the earth. Causes too much pain and sorrow.
Little over 3 tenths, not even a half inch! However, it came on a day when we can not water! It has also cooled off, down to 78.
Guess what I managed to do? MESS up the wedding card!! Pen started to run out of ink....switched and the colors of blue didn't match!! Used blue because the lettering itself was in blue! Drat! Will have to pick up another one between now and Monday!!
Oh, Lynn! Isn't that frustrating!!
YEAY Rain for LOLLY! This is GOOD.
Got it Lolly, and replied. Thanks! Sure are lots of pools!
Lynn, use a felt tip marker, that will cover it all!
OK, heading to bed after Nick goes out.
(((Hugs for all)))♥
Glad you found it, Paula. Isn't that neat to look at it that way? Yes, lots of pools but none in our yard. Sigh..... However, in the back yard, which you can not see because of the trees, we have two small ponds. LOL
Hoda, when you zoom in on that map, do it just a little at a time. Also, move it around til you find 35 W. Follow it up as you zoom in.
Just write BOLD, Lynn!
Headed down the hallway
Sleepy time here...
Arm with flu shot doesn't ache or hurt
Good night my friends
Hugs to all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
Heading off to bed a little early tonight...getting up early to get my do done.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS & THEIR FRIENDS
Oh, my, Wanda! How much are you cutting off? We will have to have a picture!☺
