Well the good news is that Chancey is home, the bad news is she has to go back tomorrow and have an ultrasound done. Her red blood cell count is high and their is bacteria in her urine. The ultrasound is to check for masses and they will also do a culture on her urine to check for infection.
Going to have to change the avatar unless this cat is dancing, and I don't think it is gonna dance.
You can get the avatars to move if the file that contains them is small...ie a 7kb file vs a 100kb file...the small size file will work, the larger one won't....and I think the cutoff is around 7 or 8 kb...but sometimes it is just hit or miss!
You can view the file size by clicking on the "details" view, when viewing in a folder on your computer
wow, Shirley. Going straight to ultra sound for blood in urine is expensive and traditionally an "out of order" thing to do. Blood usually means infection. The protocol is usually to do a urine test (done) and if blood cells and bacteria are found, then antibiotics for 10-14 days and recheck urine. If still present, then a urine sample is collected by cystocenteiss, and a culture and sensitivity is done to ID the bacteria and what antibiotic it would not be resistant to. Then a course of one of those would be used and the urine rechecked again. If there is still a problem, then an x-ray would be done to check for stones, or masses. Usually, a UTI is cleared up very quickly with general antibiotics. UTIs are very common in cats. There is a saying that goes, "when you hear hoofbeats, think horse, not zebra". Jumping straight to an ultrasound without doing anything else first isn't exactly medically incorrect, per say, but unless there has been bloodwork done indicating a more serious problem internally, or if the vet palpated the bladder and has felt something suspicious, or prior treatments have failed, STARTING with an ultra sounds seems pretty drastic. Hope you don't think I am out of line....
thanks Paula, I checked the sizes to see if that was the "thing" that determined whether or not mine moved. In the ones that I tried, it didn't seem to matter.
oh you've come to the right place Linda! It's a pigeon, and likely someones racing pigeon. The band will have ID numbers on it. Most likely it was racing and got tired and has stopped by to rest.
my old boss raised and raced homing pigeons. They will take the birds, sometimes as far as 500 miles away from home, and they are timed as to when they return to their home roosts.
I called his buddy in the pigeon club when 2 showed up here, and he said he wouldn't bother trying to reach the owner, because if the bird didn't get to where it was going, the outlook would be bleak for it anyway. Just make sure there is seed for him to eat, they really liked cracked corn too. He'll either rest and move on when he's able, or hang around!
I had two show up here years ago, different bands, and 2 weeks apart. They stayed from June to the following March, when, again, within 2 weeks of each other, they vanished. I suspect they were of the same sex and moved on to find mates that spring. One day, on my way home from work, about 7 miles from here, I spotted them flying over head! I pulled the car over on the side of the road and it really WAS my pigeons! They had recognizable markings and were low enough for me to see! I loved those birds...they'd eat out of my hand and strut all over the yard....always hoped they'd return one day.
I'll leave it for you Lolly! Glad you are feeling better! I hope I'm not catching something...started out feeling fine this AM, been feeling more tired and crappy as the day wears on.
Linda, if you go on my blog back to 2009 and click on December, you'll see one that says Spot and Silver. Those are my pigeons!
Hmm, just got a jury duty questionnaire. It is for Federal District Court and came from Richmond. I am wondering if I would have to travel that far--about 50 miles.
I do see that I might be excused if I am over 70 years old. I would likely be that age by the time this thing gets processed.
Could be very complicated, as I am responsible for Hunter before and after school.
DanaWV, Hunter and I enjoyed the little ditty about Paddy. Then Hunter saw a Lego version, so we watched that too.
Guess I'd better go fill out the jury duty questionnaire. I got one many years ago when I was married to an attorney and had two small children at home. I never heard anything else that time.
I managed to get the revolving globe map on my profile page I copied the url to the Wish area and it worked just click on the blue wish and it will take you to a big globe
(She probably can't see this, tho) Getting on here late today---been busy w/emails to/from relatives, working outside, etc. Saw a long visiting hummer today & a couple yesterday. Two have been baby boys w/spots on front of neck & one yesterday had a red glow on side of neck when the sun got him! Wish I could get more than blurry pics of most of them.Today's went down to the butterfly bush & think I got some faraway pics from deck.
Many of you including me don't like spideys, BUT just now saw a small one in a web outside. It had large blob there. I looked closer & it had captured an SB!!!!!!So that's a good thing!
Linda, a few years ago we had a young, very exhausted pigeon in our yard. We thought it might eat sunflower seed, but wrote the Racing Pigeon Helpline & the rehabbers said SHELLED sunflower seeds which I got at pet store. They can't break the shells. Probably be fine w/the smaller seeds.
Loretta - The little Garden Gnome is our rain guage, but it took a real bad beating last year during a hail storm. He has a hold in his belly and lost part of his left arm!!
Dennis keeps him anyway and for some odd reason the chickadees love landing on him and checking him out all the time. It is so funny!
LYNN, yep, sorry, but Ohio is sending it's storms eastward. Had two big ones last night and a brief spell about 2 hours ago. Bah Humbug ! Thanks for the NX report and good for her !
Onomatopoeia, good word of the day to get our minds working !
Okay so I'm making a "movie" to show tomorrow night at Back to School night and I am stuck on the "music" Does anyone have any suggestions. The movie is pictures from all different parts of our day.
And they say confession is good for the soul, so I am confessing to all my eagle friends that I have been REALLY bad today as far as what I have been eating. Now I feel less guilty since I told someone (s)! LOL!
You have to cheat sometimes Don't feel bad I had a poppy seed bagle with cream cheese for lunch near the court house Was nice down town eat out side on the sidewalk Pretty cool
We had a beautiful prayer service today. It felt so good to "do" something in remembrance of 911. Did anyone see the video about the TSA drug dogs? I'll attempt to post a link! LOL
DanaMo..the question is, WHAT did you eat? Hope it was YUMMY and worth the guilt it caused you!
What about Knick Knack Paddy Whack---it can be kind of long!! I'm not sure about downloading.....do a google search for downloadable children's songs...and see what pops up!
The Dolan link is about TSA drug dogs that are currently being trained. Each litter that comes up the pups are named for someone who lost his/her life on 9/11. Dolan was named after a man from the Pentagon who ironically worked with finding bombs in his career in the Navy. Very touching.
Warming up some leftover cacciatore. Liesl is being a pistol---some chiming noise on a news piece....she is sitting by the TV and barking her head off!
Shirley, I put it on FB----Fed court juries here g o to Elkins...if called for a trial, they put them up in a hotel; gas and meal expenses, too! You should be able to avoid it.....but right, it could take a long time before you would even be summoned.
I just googled it and there are several answers one says Game and Wildlife Commission and the other says Dept of Natural Resources and some say police Or has NCTC STEVE hes on facebook also
Busy day with errands and I went to the park as the water looked great and many sail boats are out. We have a "Pirates" boat that is made from scraps by a local person and it was sailing today. Fun to watch.
At home now and will prepare something to eat since I have forgotten to have lunch...
Yes Judy I'm in Charles Town. I have lurked off and on for a few years here. A friend saw the body of a young Bald Eagle in/near Cloverdale. I thought I remembered someone here writing that there was an agency that you reported finding such things. It was during the cluster of found dead Eagles during the Liberty/Truder saga.
Dead eagle should be reported to the DNR Fish and Wildlife Service. Illegal to posses an eagle, dead or alive, or any part of an eagle, even a feather. Best to just let them know where it is so they can pick it up. Depending on the condition of the body, they may do a necropsy to determine cause of death, age, etc. The feathers, if in good condition, will be given to various Native American groups around the country. The Native Americans are allowed to possess eagle feathers.
Welcome Bobbie so glad you came on to ask about the eagle. Glad you will be reporting it and the friend can take them to where it is.
I know you said you have lurked for years. Sorry it was this eagle that brought you to speak up on the blog. Although we are very glad to have another friend here.
Thank you for the information JudyE, Hoda and Lynne2!! I will pass it on to the person who found it. Interesting about the Eagle feathers. I never knew that Native Americans could own them.
Chancey is home :) good news is that they did not find any masses. Now have to wait a few days for the culture to come back to find out if and what type of infection she has. She has already had an antibiotic shot to start battling any infections.
Megan Says: Check out the moon tonight, the full harvest moon! Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox. It's the full moon of September 11-12.
Jury duty--There is not much use in worrying about it at this point. But it would present a problem since I am responsible for Hunter on a daily basis. The sitter he was with last year is in a different school district.
Well it's WELL over 50 miles from Martinsburg to Elkins, and depending on where in Fredericksburg to where in Richmond, it could be for Shirley, too.
Bobbie, welcome. Sure is a shame that the person who found the eagle didn't report it back when she found it.....it might have been helpful to the powers-that-be who were searching for our Liberty....to confirm or refute. :( If it was truly a juvie, let's pray that it wasn't one of ours.
Oh Happy Feet lost the transmitter...could not have been eaten because of the location he was in according to the report in LYNN'S link...God's Speed Happy Feet.
I can not wait for it to get dark so I could see the full moon.
DANAMO very good picture of you in your classroom with polite little kids in uniform.
SHIRLEY I hope you do not have to serve since Hunter is your responsibility before/after school.
TV show is over and leaves a lot of 'Food for Thought' for when it starts back in Nov.
Moon is beautiful shinning down on my valley!
I have another family reunion this Sat One More Time! Potato Salad this time for me to make. I must write down this recipe so I can hand it off and also so I remember what goes into that cooked dressing.
I wonder how many more days in the bear hunting season. So far so good. I am thankful they report into us about the bears being accounted for every evening
Speaking of potato salad, reminds me of the boiled eggs that we discussed a while back. I told you how I shake them and the shell nearly falls off. Well, the last time I tried that, it didn't work quite as well...but, it still worked better than doing them the old way. Try it, Jo:)
Tied the 1980 record today with the number of days over 100...69. Tomorrow we make a new record and then Wed. supposed to break that record. However, Friday...a cool front. At this time, early next week we have a chance of rain. On your knees Momsters and Dadsters!
Season finale for my show was a heartstopper, but turned out well. No cliffhanger! Short hiatus---it will be back in Nov.
Quiet here tonight. I will say my good nights now, too. Rest well, my fine, fowl friends. Prayers for all. Take a peek at the Harvest Moon if you have clear skies!
I got the impression that Bobbie in Charles Town's friend finding the eagle...is recent, but her comment about the eagles that were found back with the Truder/Liberty situation....was about the information that was posted back then...regarding where they are taken when found.... just my humble opinion
Prayers for wellness and relief from troubles, for Susan's Cat Chancey.. and for all our many needs ... and many prayers of gratitude for friendship and family ♥
Good Night Precious Pals God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
Magpie you are correct. The Eagle was found today (Mon) in the sub-development of Cloverdale near Washington High School. She tried to report it to DNR but kept getting "all 'circuits' are busy" message. Hopefully she will try again tomorrow. Thank you all for the warm welcomes and I will be sure to jump in if I ever have anything to add to your conversations.
I was wondering why the pictures of Chancey on the blog lost their color. Well, somehow I have got Picasa set to convert everything to black ans white. Now, I have to find a way to change that. DanaWV, that is why Chancey looks black in the picture. I edited it and took out the color.
Boomerang is limping...no running for us. I can't see anything wrong with is leg, but there was blood on the floor over the weekend. It hasn't bleed since then, and I can't find a cut. It must be between his "toes". I can't see anything on the pads. He's not crying so I'm going to see if it goes away on it's own. I don't think I could get him to the vet until Thursday. I'm hoping like us, he just has a boo boo and it will clear.
Hope Boomerang is better quickly, DanaMo. Maybe you can get someone to help you with a closer inspection. Sometimes it is hard to get a dog to cooperate with this kind of thing.
yes, that's true Shirley and when I am giving one attention the other 2 have to get in my face because they all want love! I feel like he cooperated pretty well though and I didn't see anything. Gonna keep an eye on him. Of course he is a 2 year old lab and there is no slowing him down!
I still cannot figure out what I have done to make all of the new pictures I import from FB turn to black and white. I tried again without using Picasa and it still turns the pictures to black and white.
I think I may be getting a cold you know that funny feeling you get in your nasal cavity and the back of your throat well that's me this mornin sort of a stuffy nose on one side DARN IT Ok LOLLY must have forgotten to wipe the door handle off at the SSCC yesterday LOL
I don't think that I will be seeing any eagles in the near future being the sunrise is getting a min or two later on a daily basis until the time changes
When does the time change? I have been wondering that myself, I think it will help for my morning run. I won't go out until daybreak and that doesn't leave me much time. And now my running partner is down so I guess it's just as well.
DNR locally : 304-267-0037 or try State Police 304-267-0000 they might be able to hook you up with an on-call DNR person, and also ask, for the number in Romney - where the state DNR office is. Where abouts is Cloverdale? Please and Thanks Welcome Aboard, and Visit Often !
Too funny Magpie. I heard rain and I rolled over and said to my husband, "oh it's raining" he said no it's your radio. I have one of those radios with the different sounds to help you sleep. One of them is rain and I guess it came on during the night. LOL
Good morning! Maybe I need one of those radios that makes the sound of rain. What, just what, does rain sound like?
Feeling like I am going to live today. hurrah! JUDY, I want you to know that when I cough I turn my head and cover my mouth...would never cough into my laptop. Also, I have not been up early enough to be at the SSCC! So there!☺
Have a wonderful day! I am off to water pots and maybe even do something constructive today.
Wow, quiet on here this morning. Lights are dimming ---holding my breath that power isn't going out for some reason.....
Sorry I misunderstood what Bobbie was saying! Sure hope the finder gets through to DNR today. Had to chuckle when we were at Sleepy Creek looking for the eagles there and found a bunch of feathers on the shoreline....we picked them up and took them to the rangers who were there checking fishing licenses, and they didn't KNOW if they were eagle feathers or not. DUH!
Margy, Cloverdale is out by the new high school in Jeff Co. Nice development.
Our sweet Margy is taking care of my "baby" today. She is suffering mightily with back pain. Even tho' she has her Advil and muscle relaxant to take, she didn't take her hot pack to work and didn't have any topical. So Margy rubbed her back with Icy Hot and will let her use her hot pack later!! THANK YOU, dear friend!!
Sorry JudyE is feeling puny, and now Shirley, too. But glad that Lolly is better! I fear that if I ran the rain noise machine that I would be up all night going to the bathroom!!!
I hope everyone is well, happy and healthy. Beautiful weather to be thankful for! Had nasty thunderstorms and hail here yesterday afternoon. It's gorgeous this morning and perfect for taking pictures of the Osprey. One sat in a tree across the canal in the Wildlife Sanctuary for two hours - least since he was there when I got up! Got lots of pictures of him, some blue (?) heron, and another Osprey that sat for a while in a tree right on the canal. Kate read where wild horses or ponies are often seen in the Refuge/Sanctuary area! Haven't seen an eagle yet. Dang!
Good Morning - good weather out there today. I see the sun peeking out behind the rain cloud on Lynne's avatar. Startled me at first. lol
Frederick fair starts this Friday.. School children are out the Next Friday for Kids Day. We usually expect rain to dampen the event but as I remember last year the rain missed us.
Kristen is here this morning and Jenny is coming for lunch. Daughter Day - love it. I will try to get back on later when they leave.
Good Morning Friends and Lurkers just in case their looking in Hi Carol, Bobbi, and Red.
Sorry Shirley and JudyE are not feeling well. Hope Kathryn is on the mend. See Lolly is better ( :
DanaMo I know you are at school. Sometime it is hard to see a cut even on the pad of the foot. Sorry Bommerang is limping. Is he licking the foot a lot? You might need to let the Vet check him out. Friends dog had a cut Vet found on the pad. They are hard to mend. She used some kind of glue. Prayers for Bommerang. Love the name by the way. A friend had a BullMastiff won blue ribbon name is Boomer.
Shirley when I want to scan a picture. I never seem to make it any better. Especially those older pictures. Hope you find a way to get your color back. It will happen I'm sure. Just one day bingo!!! Prayers still up for Chancey.
Margy glad you and James got to see that beautiful moon.
Lori I read your comment and I love the shore birds your seeing. Sounds like you are having a great time. Will be wanting to see pictures. Of course you know everyone does. ( :
I notice we have 45 pics in the current album in our Eaglet Momsters Yahoo I will extend the present album to run to 10/31 in hopes our cam stays up and our Eagle couple visits more often.
Thanks Hedgie-Lynn/e for posting about Happy Feet. I believe he is swimming NOT EATEN!! Closing in on his family and his home!!!! Go HAPPY FEET!!!!! ( :
Glad Lolly is better and not so good that SHIRLEY and JUDYE are not feeling so good.
Sorry about DANAMO'S dog with a possible cut on the foot, limping and no jogging this morning.
Busy day here, yoga , then Friends of The Library meet, we have to start our work for a book sale in October,Then Dragon Boat Paddling in the evening...
Blogger cup asked me to sign in even though I was already signed in and then it asked me for my cell phone number!!! ODD!!! I think it happened to others at different times. Did not give it cell number and it still posted my comment.
Good to hear from LORI and I am glad all is well and seeing lots of birds, maybe an eagle soon.

This is what Susan posted last night.

Good Afternoon!
Question???
Can you look on my blog and tell me what this bird is. I don't know if it is a pigeon or what, but it is tagged on its leg.
It has been on my railing just outside my kitchen for almost an hour now and I am wondering if it is tame!
oh you've come to the right place Linda! It's a pigeon, and likely someones racing pigeon. The band will have ID numbers on it. Most likely it was racing and got tired and has stopped by to rest.
If you can get him to come to you and can read the band...
Lost Pigeon
What do you mean a racing pigeon?
Like used for racing? Should I do anything like try to see if it is tame and call somewhere?
Okay, thanks, Lynne!!
Ok Lynne I got the butterfly, spinnng cat, cat drinking, sign wiggles and the cloud bursting.
I use IE but when I have tried to put moving ones up. None work :(
Hope that Chancey will be ok.
Some folks just band pigeons with their own personal info as well.
JudyE this is for you talking about the phone call "why I'm not coming in to work...

At home now and will prepare something to eat since I have forgotten to have lunch...
HODA I see you on the map also are you reading and LM Well I am heading to the beach for a sunset FULL MOON tonight also
Yes Judy I'm in Charles Town. I have lurked off and on for a few years here. A friend saw the body of a young Bald Eagle in/near Cloverdale. I thought I remembered someone here writing that there was an agency that you reported finding such things. It was during the cluster of found dead Eagles during the Liberty/Truder saga.
I was catching up on the blog JUDYE.
In Canada we report dead eagles to Fish and Wildlife Conservation and to the RCMP.
welcome Bobbie!
From Susan:
Chancey is home :) good news is that they did not find any masses. Now have to wait a few days for the culture to come back to find out if and what type of infection she has. She has already had an antibiotic shot to start battling any infections.
Okay with the help of my friends, I went with The Lion Sleeps Tonight, since my classroom theme this year is Jungle.
Not the best news.....guess we'll never knoow...
Happy Feet missing
Lynne, you have to live over 50 miles away to get hotel expenses for federal jury duty...unless that has changed since I served.
DanaMO, I posted a link on my FB page to that story as well... about the TSA puppies.
Oh, you can watch the CBS special that was on last night online if you missed it...just go to cbs.com
And the full moon is gorgeous tonight..harvest moon.
Oh No Happy Feet! I thought he had a "radio" on him.
Paula, that special has been playing over in my mind all day! It just wouldn't leave me. OMG! Those firefighters had me crying.
I love the new waterfalls in the footprint of the towers.
They think the radio probably fell off, DanaMO
Megan Says: Check out the moon tonight, the full harvest moon!
Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumn equinox. It's the full moon of September 11-12.
was a very nice sunset and check out that MOON ok I need to get a shower BBL And WELCOME BOBBIE stop in more often
Heading in to TV at 9:00 - Closer is the finale for this season.
Anxious for next week when some of the shows start again.
Hawkwood is hopping. Had another visit this evening. RS hawk was sitting on the fence outside my kitchen window. Got a picture this time!
Saw your FB post, Lynn. I have been busy fixing dinner, etc., and then Kathryn put in a movie.
Shirley, since you are responsible for Hunter, it is highly possible that you would be excused from jury duty.
I would think that might be the case, Lolly. I did not try to get excused at this point.
According to Mapquest, it is 55 miles from my house to the courthouse in Richmond.
The night light is on for anyone who needs to arise in the darkness and for those who arrive late from the West coast. Restful sleep for all.
See up all tomorrow
Agree, DanaMo--nice picture!!!
Bears are all safe for another day.
Bears are safe. . . . Good news, Lynn.
Great picture, DanaMo.
Maybe the Federal Court System would like to send someone here to add and subtract decimals with Hunter.
Today he offered me the calculator to use to check his work. I declined. Just doesn't seem right to let him see me using a calculator to do his math.
TV show is over and leaves a lot of
'Food for Thought' for when it starts
back in Nov.
Moon is beautiful shinning down on my
valley!
I have another family reunion this Sat
One More Time! Potato Salad this time
for me to make. I must write down this recipe so I can hand it off and also so I remember what goes into that cooked dressing.
Perhaps you can share that recipe with us when you write it down, Jo.
I wonder how many more days in the bear hunting season. So far so good. I am thankful they report into us about the
bears being accounted for every evening
Shirley I will try to send it out
after I make it Friday! Just a little lead-way in case I flub it.
Are you going to post the receipe for us too JO? Cooked dressing for potato salad??? Do tell...
Shirley I laughed at the offer to use the calculator by Hunter...Cute!!!
I see JO answered SHIRLEY as to the receipe. THANKS JO.
Okay, Jo. I will be looking for the recipe after you test drive it.
Speaking of potato salad, reminds me of the boiled eggs that we discussed a while back. I told you how I shake them and the shell nearly falls off. Well, the last time I tried that, it didn't work quite as well...but, it still worked better than doing them the old way.
Try it, Jo:)
Judy, I hope you did not get a parking ticket. Just noticed your post again when I scrolled up.
My brain is wearing down now. I'll see you tomorrow. Rest well, everyone. Good night.
Nite, Shirley♥
I guess I better say Hello and Good Night at the same time
Have a hundred or so posts to read...so - you know how it goes...
Hope to find that everyone and all our pets are okay!!
Going to watch the news and then head to bed.
Tied the 1980 record today with the number of days over 100...69. Tomorrow we make a new record and then Wed. supposed to break that record. However, Friday...a cool front. At this time, early next week we have a chance of rain. On your knees Momsters and Dadsters!
Night all! Sweet dreams!
Loved your comment Jo
"I'm just sticking with our Sycamore Palace and hope it never moves.... ♥ "
I'mn with you!
If I even thought about having an animated avatar, I think the Dinosaur would leave town !
But I enjoyed the ones on here that I saw
James and I saw the Moon shortly after it rose, it was pink, then orange
Magnificent!
Paula
Your avatar - I like it
I have a post card with that picture...will not be sending it, will be saving it
thanks also Paula for the post about the CBS Special/Documentary being on-line
I thought it was extremely well done
and no commercials.....
really enjoyed DanaMo's avatar, and her reports on what she is doing at school...
loved that scraf she is wearing also!
I got the impression that Bobbie in Charles Town's friend finding the eagle...is recent, but her comment about the eagles that were found back with the Truder/Liberty situation....was about the information that was posted back then...regarding where they are taken when found....
just my humble opinion
Personification:
Bedtime is Threatening
Onomatopoeia: WOOF !
Prayers for wellness and relief from troubles, for Susan's Cat Chancey..
and for all our many needs
... and many prayers of gratitude for friendship and family ♥
Good Night Precious Pals
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
Magpie you are correct. The Eagle was found today (Mon) in the sub-development of Cloverdale near Washington High School. She tried to report it to DNR but kept getting "all 'circuits' are busy" message. Hopefully she will try again tomorrow. Thank you all for the warm welcomes and I will be sure to jump in if I ever have anything to add to your conversations.
I almost turned the PC down without getting back to say good night.
I got busy doing something and the time got by me.
Good Night and God Bless
Prayers for all those with needs
Hugs for all ♥♥♥♥♥♥
I am going to say good night sweet dreams and God Bless.
BOBBIE, I hope that you will let us know more about that eagle, if you hear anything more.
Join us anytime, if only to say hello:)
Need sleep here...have lots of GG appointments this week~
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Good morning,
I hoped to slip down here and get a little bit of time before the animals wanted attention, but Luna and George are restless.
Going to check the nest cams.
Waiting for more light at the still cam.
Good morning!!
I was wondering why the pictures of Chancey on the blog lost their color. Well, somehow I have got Picasa set to convert everything to black ans white. Now, I have to find a way to change that. DanaWV, that is why Chancey looks black in the picture. I edited it and took out the color.
Still learning how to edit the pictures.
Good morning, DanaMo!
Good morning Shirley.
Hope Boomerang is better quickly, DanaMo. Maybe you can get someone to help you with a closer inspection. Sometimes it is hard to get a dog to cooperate with this kind of thing.
G☺☺D M☼RNING
ÉÄGLÉ BÜDs Ö ö ☺ ⌂ ☻
yes, that's true Shirley and when I am giving one attention the other 2 have to get in my face because they all want love! I feel like he cooperated pretty well though and I didn't see anything. Gonna keep an eye on him. Of course he is a 2 year old lab and there is no slowing him down!
Good morning JudyE
I still cannot figure out what I have done to make all of the new pictures I import from FB turn to black and white. I tried again without using Picasa and it still turns the pictures to black and white.
Back at ya DANAMO
I think I may be getting a cold you know that funny feeling you get in your nasal cavity and the back of your throat well that's me this mornin sort of a stuffy nose on one side DARN IT Ok LOLLY must have forgotten to wipe the door handle off at the SSCC yesterday LOL
I don't think that I will be seeing any eagles in the near future being the sunrise is getting a min or two later on a daily basis until the time changes
MORNING SHIRLEY
When does the time change? I have been wondering that myself, I think it will help for my morning run. I won't go out until daybreak and that doesn't leave me much time. And now my running partner is down so I guess it's just as well.
COLORS ON THE NEST AND I AM OFF TO WORK
Good Morning Eagle Pals
Daylight Savings time starts November 6, DanaMo...
it seems to change dates every year!
Good to hear back from you, Bobbie....
DNR locally : 304-267-0037
or try State Police
304-267-0000
they might be able to hook you up with an on-call DNR person,
and also ask, for the number in Romney -
where the state DNR office is. Where abouts is Cloverdale?
Please and Thanks
Welcome Aboard, and Visit Often !
Oh! I heard a Robin!
Oh! It was the 7 o'clock chirp on my Audubon Bird Clock ! LOL ☺
I also hear a Red-Shouldered Hawk making sounds in the neighborhood
Goodwill Treasure find of the evening last night:
A Bread Board....
round, about the size of my Audubon Bird Clock....made, from
SYCAMORE wood !
And still in its packaging...
Too funny Magpie. I heard rain and I rolled over and said to my husband, "oh it's raining" he said no it's your radio. I have one of those radios with the different sounds to help you sleep. One of them is rain and I guess it came on during the night. LOL
Hoping that DanaMo's lab Boomerang will be okay!
and also Susan's cat Chancey...
Daytime bandit has struck, time to get ready for work already!
Moon was still up just a short while ago, just about set now...
Best Wishes for a Good, Safe, Healthy Day, Everyone
See you Later!
xoxo ♥
H Dana! That's Funny!
I have one of those machines also:
It's very helpful when I have to try to sleep during the daytime!
Love your avatar by the way, and I will visit the blog link you mentioned on 9/11 - later on this evening
xo
bye
Time for school!
Good morning my fine friends.
Good morning, Thelma.
Wow, it has been an hour since Thelma posted.
Lolly, I think I am coming down with something now. But I won't blame you since Kathryn has been ill for awhile.
Actually, I do not know if I have a cold or allergies. Kathryn says that there is no use for her to see a doctor until it becomes infected.
Very glad that you are better, Lolly. There is hope.
BBL.
I was alone for the longest time. I got the hint. : )) Well you fine eagle momsters and dadsters I will catch you on the flip side.
Sorry JudyE is feeling puny, and now Shirley, too. But glad that Lolly is better!
I fear that if I ran the rain noise machine that I would be up all night going to the bathroom!!!
Good Morning Eagle Family!
Dang!
THELMA------you are NEVER alone when you have US!!! Sorry no one was blogging when you were. :(
What are you and Buddy doing today?
Good Morning - good weather out there today. I see the sun peeking out behind the rain cloud on Lynne's avatar. Startled me at first. lol
Frederick fair starts this Friday.. School children are out the Next Friday for Kids Day. We usually
expect rain to dampen the event but
as I remember last year the rain missed us.
Kristen is here this morning and Jenny is coming for lunch. Daughter Day - love it. I will try to get back on later when they leave.
Enjoy your day everyone. ♥
It will happen I'm
sure. Just one day bingo!!!
Prayers still up for Chancey.
Margy glad you and James got to see that beautiful moon.
Morning Mema Jo have a great day with your Daughters!!! Another picnic Mema Jo's potato salad on the way!!!!
Lori I read your comment and I love the shore birds your seeing. Sounds like you are having a great time. Will be wanting to see pictures. Of course you know everyone does. ( :
Great find at Goodwill Margy !
I notice we have 45 pics in the current album in our Eaglet Momsters Yahoo
I will extend the present album to run to 10/31 in hopes our cam stays up and our Eagle couple visits more often.
Happy Feet, Phone Home
Thanks Hedgie-Lynn/e for posting about Happy Feet. I believe he is swimming NOT EATEN!! Closing in on his family and his home!!!! Go HAPPY FEET!!!!! ( :
We have an osprey on the Finland on the water cam
Oprey on the nest
DanaWV---I worry because he had such a long distance to cover, and was going SO slow the first few days that they were able to track him.....:(
Jo, enjoy your day!!
Lori, so glad that you and Kate are having a great time!! Go look for the ponies!! They usually aren't shy.
Good morning everyone.
Blogger COP, not cup!!! LOL !!!
