Thanks Steve for the new thread. I am viewing the still cam and it goes off line periodically but mostly a very clear picture... If they show up a thirty second delay is not too bad, I would love to see them.
On the count down of the still cam when it reaches one and before it goes to thirty it flickers and then starts the count again. This is why I think it is working. I also saw it go off line where it became totally black and then restarted again.
BDP day is Friday. It is an outdoor event after 11:13. I thought about trying to schedule my root canal for that day, but figured they probably don't have an opening then.
And I hope BDP day will be better than a root canal. But it is supposed to be very hot. I don't do hot weather too well.
I have to tell you all a story about one of our lovely mgmt staff who is no longer with us and when you hear the reason why you will say Really, We are not allowed overtime at the store only at inventory and everyone knows that Well one of the associates got in some over time and the manager took it away and applied it to her next week check WOW Can you imagine this happening well with the computer and all the system caught it sent up red flags and notified Home Office of the problem Years ago you could do this and not be caught but with the computer no more well she got her just reward and got fired she was a mgr for 15 yrs what a surprise that she was that dumb I can't say anything on facebook about it because she and all my other boss are on facebook but I can tell you all you won't tell HAHa
I dunno, sorta of looks like the same set of pictures recycling on the still cam...guess we'll find out for sure if an eagle shows up....or when it gets dark.
I don't think its working because of the rainbow on top of the cam It was like this last nite and this am when it was dark outside But we still can hope and wish Did they ever say what made the cam go down after only being up one day???? Back to watching Casey trial I dvr'd I was so mad yesterdays taping didn't get the fathers testimony so i extended the time to go past the end time
Thanks to all who are praying for my kith n' kin in OK ! I just spent an hour on the phone with the former SIL, who is now a dear, dear friend. All is well with her and that branch of the family ! Her church is several blocks from her one story home, so she joined others there for a few hours until the coast was clear. The touchdown was about 20 miles southwest of her. Big relief, but so sad for those in it's path ! I have a call in to my cousin in Gutherie and hope to hear from her soon. I know her town wasn't affected, but wonder about some of the other counsins and their kids.
JUDIE, sorry you have to put up with Mr. Darth Bear. Hope his spirits will improve tomorrow ! Just saw some on line news and messages about Loughner, the AZ maniac who shot Gabby Giffords and others. Too insane to stand trial, and going to be under medical care for several months. Then what ? Is there a mechanism built into the law that will keep him locked up forever ?
LORI, LYNN, LOLLY....I guess the lesson to be learned regarding meds is, always ask the doctor or pharmacist what time of day one should be taken. I already ask if "it" should be taken with or without food.
LYNNE, how nice to hear that your computer lives on !
SHIRLEY, what is BDP ? I will probably say Duh when you tell me, I know. Whatever it is I'm thinking it beats a root canal job !
JUDYE, don't you just love it when justice is served ? That woman was so stupid and extremely naive when it comes to the power of computers !
"Note: The live stream is offline at this time. Due to technical and weather related issues, we do not have a time estimate on a resolution. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please return later. Thank you."
Judy E the above quote was on the OC camera website. Did you see it? It talks of technical difficulties and weather conditions as contributing factors as to why the camera went off line again...
Kay The CBS had an article which spoke of the mechanism in place with the Loughner chap. If in four months he is declared competent then he stands trial if not it could be renewed...if doctors find out he is not competent and can not be rehabilitated then he goes in an institution where he will be looked after and locked up to protect society from his sickness. You have a system there that seems to work an awful lot better than it works here...we have a father in BC who killed his three kids and was declared not criminally responsible because of mental illness. 18 months later he applied for temporary release so he could go for coffee at the mall and his doctors recommended he gets it. Well if he is competent to go get coffee he is accountable for his actions with his kids...there was such a to do here that they withdrew the request for coffee at the mall, his wife and the mother of the kids lives in the same town where he would have gotten his temprary release too...Life means life in the States, it means 10 years here if we are lucky...most Canadian inmates do NOT want to be caught in an American jail and they ask to be transferred back to Canada. I like it that we do not have capital punishment but the rest of the system needs looking into, it is not working...
Um, JudyE? How much is it worth to you for me to keep quiet? lol
Kay, glad to know your OK family and friends are doing well given the circumstances. Continued positive thoughts for them.
Yes, there is a process for dealing with Loughner. He will be medicated until evaluated competent to help with his own defense. He will then stand trial. Likely outcome will be similar to John Hinckly (confined to a mental hospital and medicated to offset symptoms. Defense will then try for: not guilty by reason of insanity or guilty but not criminally responsible. Defense has to be able to prove Laughner meets the insanity standards at the time the crime was committed. I know, TMI.
Hope Lynn and Liesl have a good training class.
Congratulations on finishing the patio, Lolly.
I bet Jo and Alexis are eating spaghetti and meatballs about now.
Judie you just got me laughing and thanks goodness my cough is gone so I didn't laugh so hard to almost pee myself Hush money ok we are gonna have to talk
HODA and JUDIE, thanks for responding to the Loughner question. I should have remembered the Hinckly case. It's good to know he'll never walk and stalk again. Thanks, too, HODA, for the info on your legal system in Canada. We hear so many comparisons of health care, but I've never heard about the judicial system differences.
I will probably put on fb and share. I wanted to put here so those that don't go to facebook could see this. Will use Momster mail for those that lurk.
ok now I sit here sniffling Wow that was a touching video Did you see how many hits 3,392,620 looks like it was posted nov 2009 I LOVED IT Thanks for bringing over and while I was watching it I posted on my newsfeed for all too see
I went to type this here after I put the video on here. I went and click on the link to make sure it worked it did and I cried again. Blogger cop kicked me off I had to restart.
The funny part of the story is that the associate went along with it and she only got caught because of the system flagged it See a mgr can't do anything with our time unless we are present and enter our sign on password which they don't know So the associate gotten written up and had a day of decision but the mgr got caned The system picked up on it after the manager took away the existing punches Ok BBL
I don't like the death penalty Hoda. I know some people are so horrific as are the crimes they commit but I can't get on board with killing them. It ends their misery, doesn't change anything as far as what they did, either. Nor do I think it deters anyone from committing a crime that could MAYBE cost them their own life....I mean, if they are of the mental capacity to do it, I doubt they really worry about the possibility of death. But life is NOT always life here in the states, either. Our system is not really working too well either, and vastly differs from state to state.
When I was very young, 22, I was engaged to be married and my fiance was murdered. It was a random act of violence, and the killer was never caught. I mention this only because when I have voiced my opinion on my feelings of the death penalty, usually someone will tell me that I don't know because it's never happened to someone I love....but it has.
I can't remember the state the one sheriff makes them plant their own vegetables, milk their own cows and take care of roads. If they are in prison WE need to stop paying for their time served...they need too pay for it!!!
Dana, I know they supposedly never close a murder case, but they really had nothing to go on. No motive, no witnesses, no murder weapon. The detective at the time pretty much said that unless someone else knew about his or her crime and spilled to the police, they'd likely never find the killer. I called the police a couple of years ago when Baltimore Co opened up a website on "cold cases" but Steve's (yeah, his name was Steve too) case hadn't been reopened at that time.
on a happier note....the field across the street has zillions of what I believe to be Oxbow Daisies blooming! And I saw a butterfly today that I am trying to ID. AND, I heard the Grasshopper Sparrows, but didn't see any...and no Bobolinks yet.
And Steve got harrassed by a family of sparrows while in the dog field earlier because there was a fledgling in one of the small Christmas trees! He didn't see it at first but figured there was a reason for the "attack"! I went out and we found it, I got a picture and will post later!
and, my baby bluebirds have fledged. I think probably on Monday. I didn't go near the box since I took that last picture because there was too much risk at frightening them into fledging to early. I'm hoping they'll come back and raise another clutch like they did last year!
Oh, Lynne, what an experience. It would be so nice if they could catch the person. I would wonder if the killer might have done some other crime and already be in prison.
that was another thought the police detective had too. He could end up in jail on some other charge and spill to another inmate who would squeal.
It was a terrible time in my young life. But 2 weeks before he was killed, we had the best time with my family in Pittsburgh. It was my Grandparents 50th anniversary celebration weekend. He got to meet many members of the family who came in from far away for the festivities. And I wanted to kill him during the first party....we had JUST set a date for the wedding and reserved the hall. I said PLEASE don't mention it this weekend, it's my Grandparents big weekend and we can announce later. But what did he do....LOL! He BLABBED the news! I see him talking to a group of cousins and all of a sudden I hear everyone yelling and laughing and shaking his hand! It actually made it more special for my Grandparents to hear the news on their own anniversary weekend!
BDP="Blue Devil Pride." We are the Blue Devils and BDP Day is the day we go outdoors and play. All kinds of activities are planned. Games and a teacher-dunking booth, etc. Nope, I do not participate in teacher dunking.
Last year, the English teachers wrote questions about books. We grouped them by grades and put them on a big wheel. Kids got prizes for correct answers.
Lynne2 I just read your postings and what a story you have!!! Your beliefs are based on experience. I am sorry you lost your fiancé and it makes it more powerful to say I do not believe in Capital Punishment...you know from expereince...God Bless and Keep his Soul in HIS GRACE.
Well!!! You all won't believe what I just did, because I am not too sure I believe it myself...I signed up to try out for Dragon Boat Paddling on the Lake for Breast Cancer Awareness...Dragon boats are huge and I am not really a paddler, but it sounded so wonderful and I wanted to be part of a group that would see me have more confidence before I buy my own kayak, so this seemed like a good way to do it and they just phoned and I will go out this Saturday!!! As I age I move forward with ideas faster!!!I feel like saying WhooooooHoooooo!!! so I just did even though I did not spell it correctly...;^)!!!
HODA Way to go that sound wonderful --I would not have the energy to paddle --Make sure you start doing upper body exercise for your arms -- Wouldn't want any injury's -- Kudos to what you can accomplish
Stronghunter,Shirley, Dragon Boats are huge boats which seat twenty women as paddlerers, two on a bench, and two others directing and giving instructions. I had never seen them before I moved to Nelson. I see them on the Lake frequently, it is a huge lake, The Kootenay Lake, and it has always been tempting for me to go out on a boat on it...I kayaked a few times with a friend last year and I would like to go out more frequently and this seems like a good solution for me. I hope my upper arms are strong enough...
Don't know that I will make it to the end of AI tonight. I just cannot grade research papers at night, so I need to get an early start in the morning. I have been reading a few papers at a time and then returning them to the kids after a short conference.
According to the Still Cam it is now 8:54 PM EDT and it is still bright green so I take it that the still cam is NOT working either...Somehow I was hoping it was and part of me was expecting an eagle sighting...
Hi, gang! Looks like I have some catching up to do! Watching Idol. Liesl did well tonight, but someone wanted to steal her!!!! A lady in the store shopping fell in love with her. I told her that her sister is still available for adoption. I got the distinct impression that she was going to make contact and application! Of course, she wanted to take Liesl and let me get Sassy----no way, Jose'!!!
Hoda, that sounds like a great time....I would love to take up kayaking/canoeing as well. Neighbor down at the beach said we could go out in her kayak.
Nope, cam not working!
Lynn, that is too cute...better keep Liesl on a tight leash...glad you had a good time at class!
JudyE.....yep, Sat. and half-day on Sunday! He's sticking it to them for all their shenanigans! TruTV stops coverage at 3, no matter what apparently. But Headline news picks it up until 5.
I have seen that video about Richochet many times, Dana, and it makes me cry everytime. Of course, love that song, too! What a precious dog she is. A big THANKS to ALL service pooches, their breeders, owners, trainers, and in many cases rescuers. All of the dogs in our local Search & Rescue group are rescues!! They go through extensive training. The morning of our Open House they had been out searching a still-hot house fire scene to verify that there were no bodies. They then came and did a demonstration for us.
Lynne, so sorry to hear of your sadness and grief. (((HUGS))) A very difficult thing for a young girl to go through. You and Nancy Grace have that kind of experience in common.
There's a sheriff in AZ or NM who makes the prisoners live in tent barracks, wear PINK underwear, and a bunch of other stuff that some don't like. Joe A-something, I think....maybe Maricopa County??
hedgie/Lynn Hinkley WAS granted extra leave from his psychiatric hospital on May 12th of this year. Apparently his Mom lives in Virginia and this is where the extra visitations were going to be. He has spent thirty years in the Mental Health hospital.
Storm sounds outside so stopping by to end the day.
Lynne2, very sorry you had to have such a sad experience. You are correct. There is no statute of limitations for murder. Don't know about your area but here, the cold case teams often use outside "eyes" to review files, etc. There has been some success.
The reason why some areas show Jeopardy first is so those who see it early can call those who watch it later and have all the correct answers. Used to do that with Darth till he caught on.
Hoda, I think the Dragon Boat paddling would be great fun. If your upper arm strength gives out, just keep making the motions and lots of grunting noises. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
Lynn, you need to wire Liesl with an alarm. Glad the class went well.
Good night Shirley and DanaWV.
Wonder if Jo is asleep after eating a bowl of meatballs?
Where's Wanda?
Okay, long day. Tired. No AC yet. Storm sounds.
The night light is on for those headed back the hallway, down to the tub, up the stairs to bed, to the recliner, or stumbling in from the West Coast. Restful sleep for all.
WhooHoo, Hoda. Congrats. Never heard of a dragon boat, either! Our late Deb was an avid kayaker, may she RIP. She lived in SD. We lost her very suddenly in Nov. '09. Still hurts. The photo of Belle and Lib on the front page is her shot. If interested, her blog is still available:
Hedgie/Lynn...Deb sounds like a great Lady and I am sorry I missed knowing her. What stunning pictures she took, must have had a great eye for all things of Nature. I love the picture of Liberty and Belle and the ones on her blog are stunning. I am sorry you all lost her suddenly, I read the love in your hearts for her when I read your words.
Mom says that all is well in St. Louis area----lots of warnings, some basement time. Her dentist cancelled apptmts. jsut as she and Sis got there....said offices didn;t have a basement. Mom spent some time in hers......but as far as she knows, there were no touchdowns there.
Judie I love the Jeopardy trick tooo funny I sort of did that with my daughter one day For some reason my cable up on this end of pinellas county must receive the signal of something first because we can be watching the same thing and it is off by a few seconds I see it first and then she see it Car races and ball games turn out to be funny Still can't figure that one out or and also my bedroom tv is not on a cable box is played through my vcr and it is also out of sinic with the DVR in the living room OK AI back on
Thank you, Hoda. We loved Deb. She was originally a teacher. Never heard what made her give it up, but she ended up being a store supervisor (can't remember if it was KMart, or what), and then went to work for the phone company, which is what she was still doing at the time she passed.
Back to AI....I think a lot of the top 10 will have a good chance of being a success with their singing. This was definitely the best year. I enjoyed watching most of the program tonight.
Be glad you missed Lady Ga Ga. I thought she was going to do whoopee right there on the stage! She might have a good voice but she is just way too weird for me!
Darn It! I missed Judie...wanted to ask her if Darth is still Growling... Hope all is better in the morning, Judie.. xoxo I like that, "James the Wise" He sure is Hope you folks used those 17 smile muscles more than the 42 Frown Muscles Glad to see that Megan checked in And Hoda: Wow! Great, the Dragon Boat expedition coming up, what a great cause...God Bless You !
I'm just getting started, this is my first post since this morning ! xo
So here you go Lynne... to remind you of one very special family member! For you, I give up my very special yellow-billed Magpie (from Paula ♥ ) for a little bit.
Lynn, what a cute tale about Liesl! Hope the lady shopper DOES go for the other doxie for adoption
Lolly, enjoyed the Tornado Tales, glad that all the family is okay, and wow, you have been working hard on that patio ! Bet it looks, wonderful !
I want to remind everyone (that would be interested that is) : We have some pretty magnificent flyovers with ISS and Endeavor in the next few days, but you are going to have get up EARLY to see them. Starting on May 27 hereabouts: Check the site for YOUR area, just punch in your zip code:
Good evening - I have been relaxing in front of tv with hubby. Yepper- Alexis and I ate the meatballs. Had purchased a new brand and they were really really delicious. We also had to make a tent house in the living room with chairs and spreads and lot of pillows! Then we were on the deck she wanted to plant some of the sunflower seeds that were for the birds. I sure hope they grow for her.
From what I hear it seems all were very pleased with the winner- young Scotty!
Okay! There might be a few little insects on that daisy...because, the buzzy things are out in full force, and crickets as well. Ok, here's some neat news: THREE Hawk babies at the Red-Shouldered Hawk's nest at Swinging Bridge, and they are pretty big! Mom soared in without any food, but it brought all three babies into view. Then she must have seen me watching because then she soared into a tree pretty close to me, but other than that she didn't seem too upset about my being there. Will post pictures in a little while, also saw indigo buntings and a few Cedar Waxwings ☺
and before all that, at another location, watched two Red-Tailed Hawk's soaring, and making that magnificent sound that they make.. oh life was good after work today for me
I am getting up early tomorrow. Have to be in Denton early. Jack and I are going to the boys school. Jacob has an awards program and a picnic. After that we are going to sit with Joseph during his lunch. Taking both boys Subway sandwiches to eat. Skinny Joseph gets the full 12" sandwich. LOL Laurel has school and Joey has work. Hee Hee So we get to be there!!! Yea!
Evening Everyone! What a great Idol show! Besides the winner, I don't remember that many important guest stars nor staging events! Guess we'll see if Simon's new show will top that.
Haven't read back yet~~ Busy on day off--Dr. appt. & then funeral home visit. Actually 2 funerals we could attend, but can't get to all of them. Got lots of cards and ordered flowers.
If I don't make it back, Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Margy, when we had the hawks nest in our front yard it never seemed to bother the hawks that we were around. We also had lots of folks visit to see them.
oh BWE looks very funny with that obstruction on the cam, looks like a UFO or a flying fish Mom Osprey all plotzed out flat on the nest cup... I sure am getting excited about upcoming hatches...
Loch of the Lowe's blog reports no hatch, and no visible signs of cracks in the eggs yet, also that Y7 has had a time lately with mobbing crows :(
Jo, sure sounds like a very enjoyable visit the Alexis !!
On the news tonight, 9 confirmed tornadoes in our area last night. There is damage east of us and they have lots of video. Thank goodness they did not do major damage.
I was just going to ask about you Loretta! 'cause I had not seen a post since last night So sorry about the two funerals, loss of friends.... hope you are feeling better ! xoxo (( hugs ♥ ))
Lolly I was just a wee bit nervous when that hawk soared and landed...but almost right away, as I was scoooched down in my viewing spot, two young guys (early 20's) showed up, and were skipping rocks into the creek, so I think she was then focused on them. I think they were passing a joint back and forth to each other! I was glad, that I was so well-hidden!
Margy, I did resort to ice cubes! Made Nugz some chicken soup with the leftover roaster chicken from the weekend, whole grain pasta and peas and carrots...he's been drooling for hours :)
Then, even more intersesting a man showed up in his pickup truck and utility trailer, parked at the boat slip on the other side of the creek, let his big German Shepherd out, to play in the water.... and he lumbered out on crutches...was missing part of one of his lower legs...wow, it was quite an excertion on his part to manage those crutches where he was out.. the two guys disappeared... No One Saw Me ☺ Except Mom Hawk
Oh, Margy, good to hear that there ARE 3 big little RSH's! No ISS sightings here, for sure! Can you spell DENSE FOLIAGE???!!!!
Lolly, have fun with the boys tomorrow!
Loretta......Simons new show is The X Factor.....it's almost the same format as America's Got Talent from what I gather. I'm sure it won't compete with Idol!
I have a new meatball recipe that is just outstanding. It is from Bon Appetit. This person went in search of the perfect meatball, they published his recipe. It was delicious!
Margy - your stories of watching the RTH are giving me a scare for your safety. You don't even have a cane! How far are you from your car in your hiding place.....? Please be very cautious. ♥
I am a happy camper with the American Idol winner!
Took GG to her doctor today and he gave a script for something which is supposed to help sciatica pain. I sure do hope it works! She gave me the day off tomorrow...said I needed to get my work done (thought she was going to tell me to rest!) I'm only a phone call away, so I shall take her up on that suggestion:)
I posted a few photos of Jayden plating his garden on my Just for Fun blog. I snorted when Karla posted them:)
Good night everyone and prayers for all of our needs/wants! Prayers for all who have been in the severe weather - Please show them mercy, Lord. Hugs to all of you ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks Ladies...I am cautious... At my first stop, someone drove by and then turned around drove by and stopped while I was walking along the road, asked if the car was broken down and if I needed any help, told him I was bird-watching and taking pictures, and he said to Say Hello to the Audubon Society ! He was from Maryland ☺
Wanda...good report on GG, sure hope the medicine works...and sure hope you enjoy your day off Thursday...off to check your Jayden pictures now ☺ Mine are up, on Wildflowers and Feathers links...you have to look pretty closely to see the hawks a Big Zoom camera would have worked better
Wanda......so Jayden;s "garden" goes straight from seedling to the table???!!! ROFL!! I KNOW you meant PLANT and not plate!! What med did he put GG on???
You're welcome Hoda...it is pretty neat to see the two flying objects together...can't tell much in advance how close they will be though... so look for both either close together or one right after another...they will be on the exact same transit path
Good Night Jo and Lolly me too soon Sharon: I Saw You...are you still here ??
Heading for the tub. Turning out the light for Liesl so probably won't be back tonight!! Sweet dreams, one and all. Bet I am going to miss Diann again....so, hey, a big shout out to you, Di! Hope everything is okay with you and yours. Wish we would hear form Linda as to her brother's condition---pray that all is well.
I found this in the Telegraph of London and thought to share it. I hope the link works like it did yesterday. If not I apologise as I still do not have a delete button.
Hi, Everyone, Dropping in before it gets too late back East. Golly, it was a beautiful day here today! Got up to 74, sunshine, just perfect!
Hope I can remember all that I want to say! Here goes:
Wow, Shirley! How neat! Only 12 more days!
WV Dana, thanks for Ricochet's story! Had me in tears--she is fantastic!
Lynne2, SO sorry to hear that you had such a tragic loss--and at such a young age, too! (((HUGS)))!!! I hope the murderer IS in prison. Seems likely they may have been convicted of another serious crime.
Hoda, good for you! Just do a few exercises for your arms to get warmed up.
Lynn, I can understand why the lady loved Liesl! Hope she applies to adopt Liesl's sister. Just wondering--does Liesl have a microchip? Can't be too careful! Glad Liesl enjoyed her class.
Wanda, glad to hear that GG is doing better. Hope the new meds work for her! Prayers for her speedy improvement!
Well, need to get some shut-eye. Didn't get as much sleep as usual last night, and it's caught up with me! Prayers for everyone here, and for all creatures. Making sure the porch light is on, and enabling both security systems. Hope we all get a really good night's sleep tonight! I will talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
I am sorry you could not see the video Paula...I do not know what happened. He is a charmer this President of the USA...he had them laughing and he got a minute standing ovation at the end.
Yes indeed one fell asleep that is to K Clark's shame though, the British papers are not too forgiving...

I'll do the call over.
Thanks Steve for the new thread.
I am viewing the still cam and it goes off line periodically but mostly a very clear picture... If they show up a thirty second delay is not too bad, I would love to see them.
Hi Kay and Hoda! Thanks for the call over. Thanks Steve for the new thread.
Have the still cam up. I think it is a little too green! Looks fake!
I am taking a break. All that is left now is returning the furniture back to the patio when everything is dry. Looking good!
PSF Kay!! Hey, have you heard from your kin in OK??
Yes, I would like to see them as well. Missed the last visit while the live feed was up.
Andy, thanks for that tip, I'll look for one ASAP!! But here I am, computer still rolling along! No shut downs today!
HOme in time for new thread Hot Dang
are we sure the still cam is working it looked like this all day yesterday and last night also line on top rainbow
Do not know for sure. However the time and date are working. Guess we will know tonight when it gets dark.
Heading home now. Will see you all later.
12 days!
5 senior research papers, then I do the junior papers.
Any word on the cam Steve?
Thanks for the new thread!
Hmmm, it does look like it may be working...
Eaglet at BWE :)
Oh rats, gone...was laying down.
Bummer...no cam still...
Have fun L and L!!!
LYNNELLEN, it is TIME FOR SOME NEW PICTURES!!!!!!
Bye Oprah.....
I have to tell you all a story about one of our lovely mgmt staff who is no longer with us and when you hear the reason why you will say Really,
We are not allowed overtime at the store only at inventory and everyone knows that
Well one of the associates got in some over time and the manager took it away and applied it to her next week check WOW Can you imagine this happening well with the computer and all the system caught it sent up red flags and notified Home Office of the problem Years ago you could do this and not be caught but with the computer no more
well she got her just reward and got fired she was a mgr for 15 yrs what a surprise that she was that dumb
I can't say anything on facebook about it because she and all my other boss are on facebook but I can tell you all you won't tell HAHa
*********
Thought I'd say "Howdy"
to our blogger friends,
but I've got to take care
of business today and
can't "hang."

Thank you, Steve.
Hey are you on facebook so do I have to worry ??
Thanks for the new thread
I've been in my other mailbox...boy it needed to be gone through.
Lady got what she deserved Judy.
Lynne glad you got computer back.
Made me sign in grrr but at least I'm in..
Hey did you hear the judge may make them work on half day on Sunday
Prayers for Darth to stop being a BEAR !
Clever ☺ avatar, JUDYE !!!!
I will probably put on fb and share. I wanted to put here so those that don't go to facebook could see this. Will use Momster mail for those that lurk.
A dog since birth in service training IT WILL TOUCH YOUR HEART !!
I got the avatar from the EagleCamAddict page I thought was cool and remimds us of the day to come on the 30th
WVgal DANA, thanks so much for sharing Ricochet's story ! She's a true American super-star !
Lynne2, thanks for the avatar reminder of what this upcoming holiday weekend is all about !
Glad you've heard from your peeps Kay!
Yes, I like to remember Memorial Day and honor for the souls who've lost their lives in our country's service.
ok now I sit here sniffling Wow that was a touching video Did you see how many hits 3,392,620 looks like it was posted nov 2009 I LOVED IT Thanks for bringing over and while I was watching it I posted on my newsfeed for all too see
Shame about the Walmart manager Judy. I guess she was thinking she could help someone out but it sure was a shame to do so at the risk of her own job.
I went to type this here after I put the video on here. I went and click on the link to make sure it worked it did and I cried again.
Blogger cop kicked me off I had to restart.
Dana, love the story about the dog...I've seen it before!
Kay, you are coming to Open House??
The funny part of the story is that the associate went along with it and she only got caught because of the system flagged it See a mgr can't do anything with our time unless we are present and enter our sign on password which they don't know So the associate gotten written up and had a day of decision but the mgr got caned
The system picked up on it after the manager took away the existing punches Ok BBL
Lynne2 with all the new DNA stuff can't they go back and re-open the case and find his killer? That is terrible ... Lynne2 I am so so sorry.♥ HUGS
No, JudyE, not on FB or any other social network. Only this blog. You are safe.
Believe that Sheriff is out west as in TX or OK. Very controversial.
Hi Hoda and Dana.
Back to the news. Bye
Just saw Kit Carson and Kit Kat on Wanda's video!!
Sheriff
I think this is the sheriff you are thinking of.
sure wish we knew what was going on with the dang cam....
Oh, Lynne, what an experience. It would be so nice if they could catch the person. I would wonder if the killer might have done some other crime and already be in prison.
I'm getting ready to watch American Idol coming on at 8pm our time... THIS IS IT TONIGHT!!!!
that was another thought the police detective had too.
I hear my Wood Thrush!! Haven't heard in a couple of days so close...YAY!
Wise move Shirley! Dana is doing the dunking booth at her school....DANGER DANGER DANGER!!!
So I am going to close down.
Take care everyone
Last year, the English teachers wrote questions about books. We grouped them by grades and put them on a big wheel. Kids got prizes for correct answers.
LOL! Wheel of Fortune puzzle just now was Sycamore Tree!!!
bye Dana!
I'm heading in to watch The Middle and then Modern Family. BBL
Wheel of Fortune was on 7:00-7:30 here. We just finished up Jeopardy.
Lynn's is like that too...wonder why we get Jeopardy first and then Wheel.
Lynne2 I just read your postings and what a story you have!!! Your beliefs are based on experience. I am sorry you lost your fiancé and it makes it more powerful to say I do not believe in Capital Punishment...you know from expereince...God Bless and Keep his Soul in HIS GRACE.
Yes, Lynn and I watch it on the same channel, I am pretty sure--Channel 7 in Washington, DC.
Watching AI now.
Been having trouble posting on here. Kept getting an error message.
Seems to be working okay now.
I guess I should report it huh? Will do after Idol
I can't say I know anything about dragon boats, Hoda. Sounds interesting.
Okay, you are speaking of DanaMo and the dunking booth. I was confused. Kept thinking of DanaWV.
HODA Way to go that sound wonderful --I would not have the energy to paddle --Make sure you start doing upper body exercise for your arms -- Wouldn't want any injury's -- Kudos to what you can accomplish
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that gets cornfused
Oh, I can get confused enough for all of us.
Sounds like fun, Hoda. I expect I would not have the upper body strength.
Googled and found a dragon boat festival in Richmond, VA. They are big boats!!
Don't know that I will make it to the end of AI tonight. I just cannot grade research papers at night, so I need to get an early start in the morning. I have been reading a few papers at a time and then returning them to the kids after a short conference.
My juniors are already asking if I have finished their papers. They have no idea how long it takes.
I am watching AI and lurking. The still cam does not look like it is getting any darker.
I am going to say good night and head upstairs. I can't stop yawning . . .
Good grief! That is some dance on AI.
Good Night Shirley, sleep well and God Bless...
Hold on to Leisel Hedgie, I like the no way José attitude. Give her a good scratch behind the ears for me and I am glad she had a good day today...
Hoda, that sounds like a great time....I would love to take up kayaking/canoeing as well. Neighbor down at the beach said we could go out in her kayak.
Nope, cam not working!
Lynn, that is too cute...better keep Liesl on a tight leash...glad you had a good time at class!
Night Shirley and DanaWV...
Lynne, it is SO hard to get a decent pic of a squirmworm!!!!
JudyE---that former co-worker learned the hard way!
Wow, Tom Jones on Idol! He's well-preserved.....Tony Bennett was on, too. Ah, the good ol' days!
Judie, I just heard something recently about Hinkley....think he was turned down for an extra visit to his mother, if I remem, ber correctly.
GREAT salute to teachers on AI!!!
JudyE.....yep, Sat. and half-day on Sunday! He's sticking it to them for all their shenanigans!
TruTV stops coverage at 3, no matter what apparently. But Headline news picks it up until 5.
Lady GaGa has got to go!
headline news is that CNN
Death penalty is one of those topics that it's best to avoid.....too many opinions...not going to insert mine.
There's a sheriff in AZ or NM who makes the prisoners live in tent barracks, wear PINK underwear, and a bunch of other stuff that some don't like. Joe A-something, I think....maybe Maricopa County??
LOL.....Shirley, you are on the ball! I should have read further before posting! Yep---that's who I was thinking of!
hedgie/Lynn Hinkley WAS granted extra leave from his psychiatric hospital on May 12th of this year.
Restful sleep for all.
a lot of places have the times reversed on those shows, Lynne. Baltimore does it the same order that St. Louis does. CONFUSING!!
Right, Shirley----DC Ch. 7!
Deb's Blog
JudyE---HLN is a CNN affiliate but it's a seperate channel. On DirecTV it's 204 (CNN is 202). DOn't know about other systems.
Bono just on---good song he sang.
Must have been out with Liesl when the GaGa sang----ugh!
Goodnight to those turning in.
Mom says that all is well in St. Louis area----lots of warnings, some basement time. Her dentist cancelled apptmts. jsut as she and Sis got there....said offices didn;t have a basement. Mom spent some time in hers......but as far as she knows, there were no touchdowns there.
Judie I love the Jeopardy trick tooo funny
I sort of did that with my daughter one day For some reason my cable up on this end of pinellas county must receive the signal of something first because we can be watching the same thing and it is off by a few seconds I see it first and then she see it Car races and ball games turn out to be funny Still can't figure that one out or and also my bedroom tv is not on a cable box is played through my vcr and it is also out of sinic with the DVR in the living room OK AI back on
Ok gonna hit the hay
God Bless this nest
and all whom watch it
Healing thoughts and
prayers for those who need them
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
I'm gonna google the news to see what channel on Bright House cable
Goodnight Judy E Sleep well and God bless, sweet dreams.
WhooHoo---Scotty won! Hope an album comes out FAST!! I have an iTunes gift card wearing a hole in my pocket!!
Wahoooooooooooo!
Scotty won!!!!!!!
I cried! Isn't that wild!!!!
Thank you, Hoda. We loved Deb. She was originally a teacher. Never heard what made her give it up, but she ended up being a store supervisor (can't remember if it was KMart, or what), and then went to work for the phone company, which is what she was still doing at the time she passed.
It was fun to pick a young person that I thought sang well and really liked and then see him win.
JudyE----my daughter and I do the same thing with TV----even tho' we both have DirecTV, signal is a wee bit slower for me than her!
Yep, Lolly!!! Surprised that Lauren didn't become a bawler.....glad that the judges called it wrong last night!!
I think I scared Liesl when I whooped and hollered!!!
Glad you were holding on to Liesl at the pet store. Silly lady thinking she could take Liesl and you get another. That is ridiculous!
Hope all is better in the morning, Judie..
xoxo
I like that, "James the Wise"
He sure is
Hope you folks used those 17 smile muscles more than the 42 Frown Muscles
Glad to see that Megan checked in
And
Hoda: Wow! Great, the Dragon Boat expedition coming up, what a great cause...God Bless You !
I'm just getting started, this is my first post since this morning !
xo
Now that I REALLY know the way to Jo's
I wanted to head over for spaghetti and meatballs also!
But I checked in too late!
Lynne: Good, Yay, Yahoo, you are here and sounds like you are staying! Good Old Dinosaur you have there...and a nice geek to help you out
Love your avatar, totally love it !
Ad I have one FOR YOU !
In a minute...
So here you go Lynne... to remind you of one very special family member! For you, I give up my very special yellow-billed Magpie (from Paula ♥ ) for a little bit.
Lynn, what a cute tale about Liesl!
Hope the lady shopper DOES go for the other doxie for adoption
Lolly, enjoyed the Tornado Tales, glad that all the family is okay,
and wow, you have been working hard on that patio ! Bet it looks, wonderful !
Yes, it looks great, Margy! Come on over and we will sit out there, watch the pond and the bird feeders and have a great time.☺
I want to remind everyone (that would be interested that is) :
We have some pretty magnificent flyovers with ISS and Endeavor in the next few days, but you are going to have get up EARLY to see them.
Starting on May 27 hereabouts:
Check the site for YOUR area, just punch in your zip code:
ISS-Endeavor Flyovers
and get up early and Watch ISS Lolly, I'll be on the next flight out of town !
☺
I'll be getting up early for these views, sure hope the skies will be clear
Good evening - I have been relaxing
in front of tv with hubby. Yepper-
Alexis and I ate the meatballs.
Had purchased a new brand and they
were really really delicious. We also had to make a tent house in the living room with chairs and spreads and lot of pillows! Then
we were on the deck she wanted to
plant some of the sunflower seeds that were for the birds. I sure hope they grow for her.
From what I hear it seems all were very pleased with the winner- young Scotty!
The dog is driving me nuts...I am trying to cool off his chicken soup in the fridge so he can eat it....he's whining for it now...
Okay!
There might be a few little insects on that daisy...because, the buzzy things are out in full force, and crickets as well.
Ok, here's some neat news:
THREE Hawk babies at the Red-Shouldered Hawk's nest at Swinging Bridge, and they are pretty big!
Mom soared in without any food, but it brought all three babies into view.
Then she must have seen me watching because then she soared into a tree pretty close to me, but other than that she didn't seem too upset about my being there.
Will post pictures in a little while,
also saw indigo buntings and a few Cedar Waxwings ☺
and before all that, at another location, watched two Red-Tailed Hawk's soaring, and making that magnificent sound that they make..
oh life was good after work today for me
how about a couple of ice cubes Paula ?
Haven't read back yet~~
Busy on day off--Dr. appt. & then funeral home visit. Actually 2 funerals we could attend, but can't get to all of them. Got lots of cards and ordered flowers.
If I don't make it back,
Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Margy, when we had the hawks nest in our front yard it never seemed to bother the hawks that we were around. We also had lots of folks visit to see them.
oh BWE looks very funny with that obstruction on the cam, looks like a UFO or a flying fish
Mom Osprey all plotzed out flat on the nest cup...
I sure am getting excited about upcoming hatches...
Loch of the Lowe's blog reports no hatch, and no visible signs of cracks in the eggs yet, also that
Y7 has had a time lately with mobbing crows :(
Jo, sure sounds like a very enjoyable visit the Alexis !!
On the news tonight, 9 confirmed tornadoes in our area last night. There is damage east of us and they have lots of video. Thank goodness they did not do major damage.
I was just going to ask about you Loretta! 'cause I had not seen a post since last night
So sorry about the two funerals, loss of friends....
hope you are feeling better ! xoxo (( hugs ♥ ))
Bear Update
I hear Scotty won :)
Deb worked at Target after she taught...
gotta get caught up!
Lolly
I was just a wee bit nervous when that hawk soared and landed...but almost right away, as I was scoooched down in my viewing spot,
two young guys (early 20's) showed up, and were skipping rocks into the creek, so I think she was then focused on them.
Paula, put ice cubes in Nugz food!
Then, even more intersesting a man showed up in his pickup truck and utility trailer, parked at the boat slip on the other side of the creek,
let his big German Shepherd out, to play in the water....
and he lumbered out on crutches...was missing part of one of his lower legs...wow, it was quite an excertion on his part to manage those crutches where he was out..
the two guys disappeared...
No One Saw Me ☺ Except Mom Hawk
Hi, Margy! Did you have a busy day?? Sounded like it this morning, but I wasn't paying much attention this afternoon. Hope you are doing okay!
Jo----aw shucks! And here I thought you and Ed made homemade meatballs!!! Shhhh----I won't tell!
Oh doggy drool..nuthin like it with a happy dog...
You are the best Mom, Paula ! ♥
Nugz got another prayer and a toast from James and me last night
Yep, had a good day, Lynn,
thanks
Had James's and his mom's (my stepdaughter) philosophies ringing through my system ☺
gonna slip away and put up Hawk and Wildflower pictures, be back in a few minutes
If I miss some pillow-goers in the meantime, best wishes for Sweeeet Sleep
Paula was making Nugz suffer! LOL
Margy, glad you were well hidden. Is this a safe place for you to go all alone? I sure hope so!
Margy, sounds like some awesome sights! 3 hawkletts :):):) and yea, the bugs are really out now!
Jo, sounds like a nice evening w/ Alexis
Lynne, what an awful awful experience you had. (((hugs)))
DanaWV, thanks for the Ricochet video, loved it!
Good evening my eagle budlets.
X factor starts in the fall, I think.
Hi Sharon!! How's home?
I have a new meatball recipe that is just outstanding. It is from Bon Appetit. This person went in search of the perfect meatball, they published his recipe. It was delicious!
I know all about some dog drool. Lol.
Right, Paula....thanks for refreshing my old brain! Target it was!
Well, helloooo Sharon! Getting settled?
ROFLMBO, Sharon. I'm sure you do! Just like me when I had three SharPei's!!!
Are you getting all settled in???? How's dear Thelma?
Hello Sharon - Hope all is well
with you - Glad you are Home again
It must feel really good...
Love ya ♥
Thought one of our momster emails said that WVsUSAn was going to go
to WCV tomorrow. Hope she gets on
here and corrects me if I am wrong.
News is on --- Nothing Happy!
Paula you are the greatest Mom ever to Nugz...I hope he enjoys his soup.
Magpie thanks for the link to the ISS and Endeavor. I found the times for my area. I hope we are not clouded over
Nope Lynn - We are not meatball
makers! Safeway says it all...
Margy - your stories of watching the RTH are giving me a scare for
your safety. You don't even have a cane! How far are you from your car
in your hiding place.....?
Please be very cautious. ♥
I am a happy camper with the American Idol winner!
Took GG to her doctor today and he gave a script for something which is supposed to help sciatica pain. I sure do hope it works!
She gave me the day off tomorrow...said I needed to get my work done (thought she was going to tell me to rest!) I'm only a phone call away, so I shall take her up on that suggestion:)
I posted a few photos of Jayden plating his garden on my Just for Fun blog. I snorted when Karla posted them:)
I, too, fear for Margy's safety, Jo. Swinging Bridge is very isolated!
I was thinking the same thing, Jo! We love you, Margy, and want you safe!!
I am heading to the shower. Have to get up early (early for me!) in the morning. Will not have time to get on in the morning.
See you all tomorrow afternoon!
Love and (((hugs)))
Good night and sweet dreams!
Argh--dosed through most of the news. Hate it when I do that! Liesl wanted some lap time, tho', so......:)
I have made it a good day! Now I
will rest well.
Good night everyone and prayers for
all of our needs/wants! Prayers for all who have been in the severe
weather - Please show them mercy, Lord.
Wanda...good report on GG, sure hope the medicine works...and sure hope you enjoy your day off Thursday...off to check your Jayden pictures now ☺
Mine are up, on Wildflowers and Feathers links...you have to look pretty closely to see the hawks
a Big Zoom camera would have worked better
Wanda......so Jayden;s "garden" goes straight from seedling to the table???!!! ROFL!! I KNOW you meant PLANT and not plate!!
What med did he put GG on???
Dirt tastes SO good!! Love those pics, Wanda!!!
Good night Mema Jo and Lolly God Bless you and Keep you.
Where does the blog cop come up with these security words? On Wanda's I got pompoo!!!!
You're welcome Hoda...it is pretty neat to see the two flying objects together...can't tell much in advance how close they will be though... so look for both either close together or one right after another...they will be on the exact same transit path
Good Night Jo and Lolly
me too soon
Sharon: I Saw You...are you still here ??
Wanda
Oh so cute!
As Alfie ( in Thomas the Tank Engine)
says: More Dirt means More Fun !
Bet the bath afterwards was just as much fun
Lynn:
You "dosed" through the news??
ROFL
I "might could use" some of that when I go to bed tonight ☺

Lynn, the name of the med is Gebepentin (sp). Never heard of it.
Wanda, those shots of Jayden are just precious.
Margy, I had problems leaving a comment on your hawk pictures so here it is....Margy, your shots are great, can see those little hawkletts just fine!
Wanda, hope the meds help GG!
Thanks Hoda ♥ Just trying to feed him some complex carbs and protein, seems to help.
President Obama's Charms Westminster Parlaiment
I found this in the Telegraph of London and thought to share it. I hope the link works like it did yesterday. If not I apologise as I still do not have a delete button.
**GABAPENTIN**
Yes, Paula, I hope the new pill works for her. She is pretty miserable:(
LOL, Jayden is a joy to this family!;)
Hi, Everyone,
Dropping in before it gets too late back East.
HODA, I watched Obama and enjoyed watching Kenneth Clark falling asleep...LMBO!
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS FOR ALL
Lolly, bet you & Jack & family will have a great time tomorrow!
Margy, good to "see" you here! You had quite a wonderful adventure today!
Loretta, sorry to hear of your losses!
(((HUGS)))!!! How is your knee doing?
Paula, you are SUCH a good Mom to Nugz! Your chicken soup has ME drooling too!
Jo & Ed, glad you had so much fun with Alexis! BTW, I've made quite a few tent houses in my day, too!
Hi, Sharon! Good to see you! How's Thelma? And how are you doing? Bet it's good to be home. TEAM LIBERTY!!!
Hoda, your link worked fine...I couldn't see the videos :(
Wanda, that sciata can be pretty nasty...
gonna hit it for tonight, finally got every thing done!
Watch out for the split!!
(((Hugs for all ♥)))
Wanda, glad to hear that GG is doing better.
Good night all I'll sign off now and see you all tomorrow in God's Grace.
Good Thursday (almost FRIDAY) morning Eagle Land friends!
PAULA - you're such a good Nugz mom. I love cooking for the dogs, and most humans think my cooking is dog food so it works perfectly!
LYNNE - BIG HUG for your very difficult time with the crime against you fiance. Time does wonders, but you never totally forget.
Hello SHARON - Give my love and good thought to THELMA.
LOLLY - Congrats and a high five for getting your patio done!
