You guys are just soooooo gross! I am going to pretend that Belle has installed a floral scented Plug-in.
Ended up with shrimp scampi last night so it is burgers tonight. Would love to have had some traditional holiday leftovers. Need to check Food Network for some variations.
Eeeeuuuuuuh!!!! What a disgusting conversation. I am sure that Palmer's home is very clean, fresh, and sweet smelling. And, speaking of that delightful eaglet, I just heard a Palmer whine. She is close by!!!
Worked out in the yard for a while this morning. Mostly watering pots and puttering. In three weeks we leave for the beach. I will hate to leave my yard, but really looking forward to the week.
Just finished my walking. Now I am all hot and yukky. Need to cool off. Enjoyed Wanda's 4th slide show on fb. Great to see Wanda, Lynn and Margy! So neat that you all can get together!!! Looks like GG really enjoyed the day!
When our wren would fly away from her nest, I was always impressed with the amount of red that I would see. When she built the first nest we thought it was a cardinal.
I sure took a long break - eating some watermelon right now. Almost time for dinner but just needed something cold and juicy.
Western MD - If you got near Luke, MD the paper mill was the most horrible smell and I don't know how people lived there. I guess once your nose adjusted to the odor you didn't smell it anymore....."The stink from this place creeps downstream on the Potomac all the way to Cumberland and the surrounding areas. It smells absolutely awful."

Did I hit the split with that one?

Paper mills do have a nasty smell! I remember the smell of them in Mobile, Alabama when we used to go visit my grandmother!
LOL, I never saw the split coming! Just ended up over here somehow!
BWO chicks are really getting big...good viewing of them today!
When I lived in Oregon, there was a paper mill close but not too close.
We did pass one now and again. It was odoriferous.

Jo, I am so glad you spoke with Norma. Did she give a clue when she might be back with us? I really miss her morning, cheerful, sunny commentary!

For once I can see the chicks at BWO.
They stand out from the nest coloring a little better.
I would say what they remind me of but may be I better not. Not that it's bad or anything....
Margy....or anyone else good on identifying birds.
My brother said there was a small bird that made a nest in his hanging fern if that gives you an idea of how big it is.
It has brownish feathers with a red cap, no tuft, and a red breast.
SURE! Palmer's nest is clean airy and conditioned!!!!
Remember all that greenery Lib brought in? That did it!
Might be a Nuthatch.
Nuthatch sounds good. I'm thinking on the lines of a wren by the coloring of the feathers.
I mentioned a female cardinal and that was a no. No tuft.

I saw a picture of a ruby crowned kinglet listed as a small bird.
The coloring is what I had in mind. It just didn't have a red breast.

Miss my wren and her babies!
Just heard a Palmer whine!
Ahh! Don't you just love the blogger cop. Double posted!
Lolly's stuttering again. Probably into the Chasteberries.
BEagle, was the tail pointed skyward? Probably a wren.
Oops, meant that Lolly's probably been into the mojitos.
Probably a birdie book would be good idea.

I saw a picture of a swamp sparrow. I even listened to their song! It was quite pretty.
I didn't notice if they were found in this area. Probably not.
I would like to think it's a nuthatch, but it probably wouldn't nest in a flower pot.
Anybody home? New thread. COme on over.
Hi,
Took a panda nap. Finished reading a book. Fed George. Such a busy day.
I will call the Maytag man tomorrow morning. Maybe I won't need to send the dryer to the great northland.
Thanks, Bob, heading over to the NEW THREAD.
