Jill - you go ahead & take care of Norma's pictures.... You have the original & be better then me messing with the album. Thanks
I am about to leave for Jennifer's where we have been invited for dinner. Newlyweds Holly & Aaron are bringing their photos to share. Be back around 8pm........
Doc gave me Zantac and told me the antibotics given for my root canal did a number on my stomach. Cute, thats all I needed. The blood test were just to be sure it isnt gallbladder. I'm too busy to fool with illness. I have places to go and people to see. Cant sit on me.
Heidigirl-- Zantac is good. I have problem there also and Dr. gave me meds 6 months ago. Have gained 20 pounds. Not quite sure which meds are responsible, but will find out next week. (not Zantac for sure)
Well Wanda I gained that much with out Zantac. Its because I have been lazy and not exercisiing. I sit all day its a problem.I have got to find some motivation and get to it.
NILLA I just got back on and read the exciting news. I hope youo made it to the hospital in one piece and that everything is going fine; soon to be or already a grandmother. Prayers and blessings on all.
ANNE I hope you are feeling better with all your problems from your root canal. The Zantac ought to do the drick tho. It's awful how some things can lead to another.
Nilla - Praying for Jenny and the new baby girl. Everything should be ok. You're the coach - you should have gotten Jill to provide an escort - Hoping to hear from you later!
Jennifer is great - Arm is ok now. She has the most beautiful flower gardens - and the tomatoes for the salad were delicious. Spaghetti was the main dish. Of course later after dinner we had to have coffee, apple pie with ice cream! Newly weds were there with the wedding pictures & those 2 are doing great! Love them dearly. Great Evening & thanks for asking.
Wanda I remembered to tell her you said 'hello' and she said to give you the same message. I need her to become a momster! She has 2 computers at home and is on computer all day at work. However she also has 2 teen stepdaughters at home with assigned hours at those computers. I think she just wants to get away from the keyboard once she gets home.
Jo It sounds like you had a very nice night out for supper. It is making my mouth water. Yummmmmm So glad to hear the newlyweds were doing great. I bet they had some nice pics to show their proud grandmother. :)
I was just reading about Albert up the tree, which I saw before switching to the blog, and when I took another look, Albert's still on the trunk, but now Einstein has flown back into the nest, looking for food.
GOOD EVENING JIM. Yes both eagles are back in Kent nest and I think Albert is still on the limb. Einstinella, as Jo calls her, in in nest. We have been watching poor Albert flapping a lot on and off during the day. He got stuck up on the limb at one time and made us giggle getting off.
Hi, Candy, Last year's eaglet spent a lot of time before fledging on that same trunk as Albert is on...except the nest was lower level and last year he would perch a couple of feet lower than Albert is on now. I'm not sure that one ever got up on the branches we can see, although I recall him being on some above the camera.
Albert has been flapping again, but I am too tired to keep watching. He is getting pretty good at flapping his way up on the branch now. I hope all you Eaglet Momsters and Dadsters have a nice peaceful and restful night. Tomorrow brings a new day and maybe news from Nilla about her new grandchild. GOOD NIGHT ALL!
I am still with the blog - just want to try to place some of Candy's Kent photos over in their gallery. BRB but GoodNight if you sign off before I get back.
Wanda-Check out the Journal article about the fundraising money not going to the cancer patient. I believe you know the person who held the fundraiser. I saw she was arrested on the charges. Out on bond.
Nilla congrats on the birth of your grandchild, hoping the babe is doing well.
Here I sit burning the midnight oil trying to get though class and assignments before we take off for Houston, and catching up on the blogging. HA! figures there are over 200 posts today.
Glad to see Albert finally stepped out of the nest.
Suzanne, Frida and Diego are the parents in Benicia.
If the train ride is on a weekend I can definitely go and even stay the night depending how late the train returns to the depot. Tori and I would both be going of course :).
Here it is almost 2:30am and i thought i better let ya'll know that at 8:26pm my granddaughter Jasmin Nevaeh (heaven spelled backwards)was born, she is perfectly healthy and weighs in at 5lbs 12ozs... Although she is a preemie they are checking her blood sugar every 4 hours (preemies have problems regulating sugar)but hers is 71 and great!!! Her mother Jenny is doing fine just very tired... i have fed her and changed a diaper and got her to sleep so mom could get alittle rest... She is a miracle baby to us because of the 4 months Jenny was on bed rest to have her..Oh she has hair its dark and they used suction to help get her out as Jenny was just to weak to push towards the end... I already stopped by Wal-Mart for Preemie diapers and a cute sleeper...lol Thanks for all the well wishes on a safe birth... Hugs, Nilla
Geesh, good morning, eagle world! Made it to Friday! Our firewall was down this morning, so the entire building could not logon. They fixed that, then the entire building could not get on the Internet. Another denial of service by our very own sys admins! What would we do without them? (Probably have a whole lot less problems!) Nice out, but it's day now, so you can see for yourself. Got rain yesterday up my way for about 10-15 minutes. It helped, but not nearly enough. Then it just got terribly humid! Maybe it will rain today. We can all hope! Norma, while I can get on, and before I forget to tell you again, I used my lights on Monday (told you I forgot) for the deer, and they don't like that at all! Off they go. First saw a deer crossing the street, then he just stood there, but this was 2 in the AM, and he was in a residental area. Didn't figure the sleeping folks would appreciate even a little toot toot of the horn, so I blinked my lights. Man, off the deer went! So I've been doing that all week! Tell your friend it works very well, and thank him for me!! Also while I'm on, I'd like to join you all for your falll Eagle Express Train trip. I've been reading about it, and it sounds like another wonderful time. Count me in! Ok, this is very slow this morning, so will try to open some cams. All have a great eagle day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
CONGRATULATIONS NILLA!!!! How exciting is that--changing diapers and feeding already. What a wonderful GRANDMA you are already. You know we will want photos.
There you are. You sneaked in while I was typing. Glad you are ok. It is weird to not have your comments first thing in the morning. I thought there must be a new thread, so I went looking for it. Not there, so I came back and there you are! Going for my coffee. BBL
Morning, Wanda. I sent you and Candy an email earlier. I could do email, but couldn't get on the Internet! Always something here, you never know from 1 day to the next what is going to work, or what isn't! Did I read your comment right? Nilla is a grandmother? Baby is early, just like she thought it would be. I'll have to go read back some comments and see what I missed. Congrats, Nilla! Hope Mom and Baby are doing fine.
Thanks, Wanda, I did. NILLA- How exciting! Congratulations to Jenny and your son, and of course Grandmom!!!! I'm so glad to hear everything is fine, and the baby is fine. Beautiful name, too!
2 ospreys still in BW, one eating fish, the other just looking. Well darn, never mind. The one eating took off with the fish. Other one still there, though. Well, no, back on side of nest with fish still in claw. Maybe that was just a quick fly by and back again. Now the one that was there is over looking at the fish the one is holding. Ok, back to other end of nest. You can almost see dawn in Kent on cam 1, but I don't see anybody in the tree! Still too dark to see cam 2 and 3. They also moved the cam closer in Finland, or is that my computer? Looks like you can just touch those ospreys! Chick is watching other parent in tree. Parent in nest with chick..oh, both watching, one in tree took off. Getting overcast, must be time for their daily rain! Lucky guys! Not raining in Germany, though. Storks standing around. Both Benicia owls in nestbox. Thanks for telling me who they are, Robyn! Knew the names were familiar, but couldn't place them! My PC is acting wierd. Had Puget Sound up, timed out, and now I can't resume viewing. Geesh! Lesson in frustration sometimes working here!
Don't know, Dana. Never went back and read the instructions. Jo is very good at that, she can tell you when she gets up. I just type the URLs, and they can cut and paste to view whatever.
SUZ-- I thought the Finland cam looked different and they changed the format around the picture also. (Just a little) They never did answer my e-mail. But, I guess we know what happened.
Yeah, noticed the format change yesterday, but the cam is sure close up today! Chick is alone, and parent is in one of the trees in the background. See him? Dana, scans will slow down your machine, that's normal.
Someone is on the tree, I'm guessing that is Albert. He has to have a couple days branching too, before he's ready to go explore the world like Einstein is.
Kinda rude that they didn't answer your email, Wanda. They could have even sent you one in Finnish saying they didn't understand English, or something! Course we couldn't understand that they were saying that, but it would have been some sort of reply!!
Dana, I'm on a local area network at work. The only thing slowing this down are the system administrators who keep trying to add more and more security to the local area network. They have so much security, that sometimes you cannot work. That's called a denial of service, and our problems with the LAN are the administrators! But they only do what they're told. You cannot tighten a computer down 100% and expect the computer to work. They keep trying here, though!
Albert is getting brave, he has moved higher on the tree. He's now up by the branch. He's looking down now, to see how far it is. This is cute. Chick sleeping in Finland, parent still in tree. Storks sure have long legs, they're getting tall! Benicia owls in nestbox. Swallow on eggs. Did one of them hatch? Thought I saw a little tiny head earlier, but it's really too dark to tell. Eggbert not on cam or on his branch. He's probably down in the right corner.
Glancing back at the blog after I left yesterday, did we ever pick a name for Gene? I vote for Eagle Express, if voting is still open. Wanda, what does Gene like?
GOOD MORNIN' EAGLE BUDDIES!!!---JILL--ROBYN---NILLA---SUZANNE---WANDA & DANA-----SPECIAL CONGRATS TO NILLA!!!!---a beautiful baby granddaughter--JASMIN---"LIFE IS GOOD"!!!----It is a GORGEOUS sunny cool a.m. here in WV---temp. 67°-----We had some rain yesterday---MEGAN are you still dancing??---LET'S ALL DO A RAIN DANCE!!!!
SUZANNE!!---ALBERT was so "CUTE" yesterday---(did you get the pic from JO)----He flew down & once when he was up on a limb---EINSTEIN flew in & wanted ALBERT'S limb---BUT ALBERT DIDN'T MOVE!!!---Certainly didn't SHARE FOOD yesterday-----STAR was up in the tree ignoring them!!!!-----I think I have "fallen" for ALBERT!!---"poor baby"!!!!
I agree Mits with Gene picking his own name. He might like racing cars and might enter something like E#3_Gene. He might like hunting or fishing. If he thinks about it he will come up with one. Especially since he isn't on the computer alot lol he'll have time lol.
Oh, missed you guys! Good morning, Mits and Norma! Yes, Norma, got the pic from Jo! He came down quite gracefully, didn't he? Just beautiful. Not sure how he's gonna get out of this, he's WAY up there, above the parents branch! Wonder if he's gonna start "tree walking" like Einstein did! It would be really cool, if he just sorta flew down! But he's been watching Einstein, he'll probably spend a couple days walking up and down before he figures out those wings will get him airborne!!!

It was around 6pm that we got Nilla's announcement. I thought it might be a c-section. Hope we get the word later.
Glad to see both Kent Kids at the nest. For awhile I only saw one. I guess Einstinella was way up high out of camera range.

Thanks, Wanda, I did.
NILLA- How exciting! Congratulations to Jenny and your son, and of course Grandmom!!!! I'm so glad to hear everything is fine, and the baby is fine. Beautiful name, too!
Someone on here is a recent Grandmother to add to her other Grandchildren. I wonder who it might be???
Morning Suz,Jill,Wanda, Nilla, Robyn and all lurkers, hi Anne ( :
If I knew how to put things in here that you can just click on I would put the link to the newspaper article for everyone.
Morning, Dana! If you can find the web address in the paper, probably under Publishing Info, you can post that here.
Robyn, thanks for the URL for the Journal article. Very interesting!
Now Finland's chick is almost as tall and parent. Sure is growing alot.
Suzanne how do you post on here where they can just click here and get the article?
Mine is alittle slow Suzanne it is doing a scan in the background.
DANA--
Good Morning....I also read that article a few days ago and thought if I had time I'd like to go to NCTC and listen to her.
SUZ--
I thought the Finland cam looked different and they changed the format around the picture also.
Oh, Eggbert is in the nest! Well, he was gone before I finished typing that! Did get a quickie pic, though!
Kinda rude that they didn't answer your email, Wanda. They could have even sent you one in Finnish saying they didn't understand English, or something! Course we couldn't understand that they were saying that, but it would have been some sort of reply!!
I knew that Suzanne that is why I was telling you. Thought maybe yours was scanning and slowing yours down.
Dana, I'm on a local area network at work. The only thing slowing this down are the system administrators who keep trying to add more and more security to the local area network. They have so much security, that sometimes you cannot work. That's called a denial of service, and our problems with the LAN are the administrators! But they only do what they're told.
Oh, Albert is on the branch, and was doing wing flaps. Now he's higher still, and continuing to climb!
He's funny. He moves up, then looks down to see how far he is.
Albert is going to be out of sight soon, sun is coming up and it will block him out for a while. He's only visible on cam1. Cam3 is down.
GOOD FRIDAY MORNING EVERYONE Hope you all have a great weekend. Congrats, Nilla, for being a Granma, again. Congrats to the parents also:).
I vote for Gene to pick his own name, also. He might go in a different direction then we are:).
MORNIN' MITS---How's life at the beach?----Tried watching the "LITTLE PRINCE" this a.m.----but he was like JIM----MOVIN'!---ho!----
SUZANNE!!---ALBERT was so "CUTE" yesterday---(did you get the pic from JO)----He flew down & once when he was up on a limb---EINSTEIN flew in & wanted ALBERT'S limb---BUT ALBERT DIDN'T MOVE!!!---Certainly didn't SHARE FOOD yesterday-----STAR was up in the tree ignoring them!!!!-----I think I have "fallen" for ALBERT!!---"poor baby"!!!!
Well, Albert is hiding behind the sun's glare at the moment. He's still high up in that tree, though.
WOW!---Those PA FALCONS are never going to leave their RACHEL CARSON ledge!!----(think they like the address) ho!
GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!!
Maybe Einstein gave ole Albert some vocal tips to go with the demos we could see. He sure seems to following in his older brother's tracks now.
Jim
Life is lazy at the beach, Norma, and I am too:). Cloudy and mid 80's today. Tomorrow only in the high 70's with NE breeze and sun. Perfect beach day.
Oops, good morning to you too, Jim. Didn't see you!
Well got to get my shoes and socks on. Time to hit the road for Winchester Therapy.
OOppss Suzanne you probably won't be here when I drag myself in.
Have a GREAT WEEKEND gal !
Look quick before he leaves, Eggbert in nest eating!
You too, Dana! Have a good therapy session!!
SUZANNE----I saw him fly down from the limb yesterday afternoon!!!---It's HARD NOT TO LOVE HIM!!!
