Well for the last 10 min I have been watching a Panda Bear sleep and I think maybe the cam person has gone to sleep too. You would never know i am watching a live video right now that's for sure LOL
I've been readin the comments...no call yet and my cams keep doing an "over fill" knocking me off dang it.
Cam 2 shows someone asleep on a tree laying on the group no leaves.
Cam 1 shows someone on the rocks just lifted its head to look around. Now moving OOpps I think Tao the way he is rolling around. lol
OK Dana when they do call...let them know 2 of us are watching...have them briefly describe what the panda is doing that they are watching etc. At least hopefully we can get the right cam film of what they saw live together . One panda cam now has Panda by rocks etc. The other has Panda on Treee limb. I think the tree limb one is tai but i'm NOT sure.

I will have them or if Mits calls someone explain what they are seeing so we know which cam. ok
When I get ready to FRAP i will have to close one of them or I won't get what we want . That's why I kind of need to know which one they seem to be watching nearby I guess.

My cell phone reaches from Baltimore Johns Hopkins I know that. What I don't know is will they let you in the zoo with a cell phone? Don't know the answer to that.

No Glo she wouldn't have met up with Mits yet. She was just walking from the Metro station. Very Very out of breath. I got hear her and she said she was. I don't know where they are meeting up at but if it is at the Pandas. Nilla will still have a ways to walk. Poor gal...needs to have a wheelchair ride for things excursions.

It is funny there must be like a 2 second delay. I am having Mits and NIlla moving back and forth so I see them in the cam I am watching so you can get it.
Nilla said we are right here by the tree. I said no it isn't showing you then seconds later it did. Poor gal I'll have her running back and forth ever which way. Don't shoot me Nilla please no wet noodle Mits.

Glo we couldn't see Nilla and Mits faces too well with the limbs in the way. The pink sweatsuit was great Mits it helped to locate you two and then I caught sight of Nilla's white sweatshirt. So I told them to wave so some of that should be on the fraps.

Just as Pauls said See Nilla waving I am sure I was frapping and typing I think i see them. We got that very first shot as we all saw them together...it was cool.
Everyone cam 1 is showing the Dad sleeping on the rocks it's not Mei.
Cam 2 is showing Tai in a tree. That is what Nilla and Mits are watching.
OK well FRAPS files are huge and I have lots. I am going to go unpack my groceries now and then come back and take a look. We'll have some fun stuff to share later tonight for everyone.

Glo that would have to be "inside NCTC to catch the tree pics and they could take a video recorder with them lol. Then we could see Mits, Nilla, the eagles, the nest and whomever is there at NCTC to arrest them lol.

Well I sure am glad Nilla sounded better. The excitement of seeing Tai nursing from Mei. It must have given her an extra boost. Probably wasn't walking as fast. Standing there watching.
Tai is trying to climb high 2:35 our time time on cam 14:38:11 looks like he is alittle higher. Maybe not
Looking pretty dark at the Zoo for quite some time, kind of hoping they have umbrellas wtih them or maybe its just a high shade area now.

3:50pm EST Nilla just called and said they are standing right behind the tree that Tai is up in. That Brenda was just out there with an apple on a stick trying to get Tai down.
Nilla and them are going inside soon at the Pandas. She might call is cell works inside.

Dana: Under each cam is the suggestion to try the other cam.. Tai is in the tree on Cam 2 & below the picture is the suggestion to turn on Cam 1 if you can't find him. It can be confusing to know which cam you have up. Took me a while to figure it out.
Not sure but it is probably Mei who went inside on Cam 1.
Ok Think I have a video uploading lOL. Its like 4 min long so this could take a while LOL. Think I'll go "Loopy" now

Would have been nice though if the rascal would have come down. So Nilla and Mits could see more of him wrestling with Mei. Then his antics inside.

BOOYAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great day...you gals did an awesome job of frapping and commentating. We were creating quite the crowd when we were dancing left than right than left again. I got there about 45 mins before Nilla arrived and Tai was on the log right in front of me, whipped out my camera and it was not working, don't know why, but I got no close up shots of him. Nillas' niece took some. Mei and Tai were in the old yards all afternoon and Tian was sleeping in the new yard. I just saw where the little devil just came in, Brenda tried to get him to come in around 4, but that boy was out like a light. I left Nilla around 4:45p.m. in the zoo store. We did go inside and saw Mei and Tian eating dinner. This is the first time I have seen Tai since last January, boy, has he grown. Just a wonderful day and sooooo happy to meet Louise:):):):)

Well I just seen who I think to be Tai just walking in. Mei is laying on the rocks asleep. First he decided to bother her. Then changed his mind. Started for some bamboo decided not too.
He's had his sleep now in the tree. Ok he is near Mom and Tai is now eating bamboo. Wonder if his trainer gave him a lecture.
Bless you Thelma so glad you had fun. OK so now of course we are needing captions for some of those stills. Pay attention to what the number on the photo is and send away when you come up wioith it. You and Louise can put your heads together and give us some fun thoughts I am sure!!!

We were talking to one of the volunteers and she said the Director of the zoo Mr. Berry was going to China in December and one of the topics would be if the zoo could keep Tai a little longer, that would be nice, but as for me, it will be really hard whenever he goes, whether it is sooner or later.
Oh, I forgot to tell you...Randle the Rothchild Giraffe left this a.m. for his new home in Tampa Bay, FLA. They are going to start to make way for the new elephant habitat, constrution to start next spring. I'm going to miss that giraffe. Also, Kandala the baby elephant will be 5 yrs. old this Saturday, saw him today playing in the elephant yard.
Panda Cam 2 Tai will not leave his mother alone - All that fresh air and those 2 visitors have him all wound up! lol
