Afternoon gang, sorry i didnt get to head over to see ya'll but got up with a terrible headache this morning and went back to bed after taking a pill. But hope ya'll have a great time and see the eagles. I just have so much to catch up on around here like doing laundry... Is Megan going to be over in Shepherdstown tomarrow morning selling her wreaths anyone know? BBL
Yes, Nilla, I think she will be there tomorrow also. The WP says it is a 2 day event from 10 til 3. Sorry about your headache...take it easy, but get outside for a few breaths of fresh air. Hubby is going to the mall, I'd rather stay home and clean out closets.:):):).
Forgot to mention, BELLE said to say, "HI" to everyone, she is busy with hosehold chores this weekend, and just wanting everyone to know, she was thinking about you all!
I have a beautiful fresh green wreath on my front door. Full of red berries and a large red bow. Megan says Hi! She wanted me to let you know that she is still having trouble signing into the blog. She will be at the Holiday Market Sunday over behind the library I think. Today Megan is set up right on the corner by the Sweet Shop. I met Sandra from Shepherdstown and we sat for a while inside the Sweet Shop chatting. It was good to meet her!
I drove out to NCTC & the gates were closed Parked along side of the road and viewed the tree there wasn't any action at the nest. High up in the sky going around in circles could have been an eagle... I could not determine any white tail or head.. Could it have been a juvi?
Paula, Megan said that Sandra and I were the only two that stopped by so far. College football game in progress and Megan expected the crowd to increase around 3:00 after the game.
Paula Half way home going thru Sharpsburg - I asked Jennifer, "Where did we put the gourds?" Yep! you guessed it! Megan remembered to bring them - I paid for them - and I left them setting in the box on her table... DUH.............
I just read on the previous thread that Suzanne was going over to the Market. Megan will be watching for her--getting a parking spot is a trip! I went around the block 2 times and on the 3rd try I got a spot right on the main street a few doors away from Megan's display. The weather is still beautiful.
Jo, I almost thought of going up today, but, so much to do around here. That is such a small town, if you have a football game it must be really crowded. Glad you had a nice chat with Sandra.
I know you miss her and it is a shame they took her off the air, they did the same thing with Tai when he was around 2 months old, but , the National Zoo still kept the cam up during the night, they just did not move it around
I don't know if I have told you all or not, but Andrew is spending the weekend at his girlfriend's and her parents. I am missing him so bad. He is about 2 hours away and I have talked to him a couple of times. He is having a blast. He has it bad for this girl. I love it. He smiles all the time and also talks to her on the phone all the time. So, sadly, I am not the only woman in his life anymore! :)
Hi There. Norma (I know you're probably not here)I was hoping that you would still have been in Shepherdstown today. Now! I am getting wrapped up in The March Of The Penguins. Our daughter said it was a fantastic film-It's on Ch 48 Hallmark. Guess I'll BBL. Sharon It's hard when you face the reality of your baby not being a baby anymore. loLove Off to the TV
The thing I found sad about "March of the Penguins" was when the duck came in for food. They aren't like are eagles that would fight. I had thought somehow the group of them would do something. Since when a parent tried taking someone elses little one. It was very much a learning experience.
Good Morning all. The last day for me to have nO job responsibilities for 2 to 5 years anyway. Yes I am still "semi -retired" and fully plan to stay that way. Full schedule next week though as I will be helping with In Service Training. This is a brand new Homeless Shelter for Women and children. I have extensive experience with that. Our women will come for a variety of reasons. Hope your day is blessed.
Thanks Sharon I can think of nothing else I would rather do. In fact the director I will work for was once a Volunteer under me...in exactly this kind of work! it si awesome and yES definitely does have its times. I wish we ocul dhave gotten underway a couple of months ago to put Christmas together a little better for those who will need the facility this year, but we will manage, and there will be a celebration of the Season the best way we know how. as quickly as we can get it to gether for those in need.
Hello to all out there in Eagleland. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon.. Good weather here in MD. I am going to be in and out and about today... Will check in later..
Looks as though Tian Tian is bored! He is on Cam 1 hanging lazily over the log. Mei & Tai are at the building - guess they want a treat. Tai is giving Mei a hard time. Even though Mei gives Tai a body slam - he still comes back for more.

Quick in and out by FL eagle
Jo -
Oh No!!!
Jo,
Sometimes those white heads and tails are hard to see when they are high up...

Just wish I had seen you know who...
Eagle at BW
He is eating!
Jo, I almost thought of going up today, but, so much to do around here. That is such a small town, if you have a football game it must be really crowded. Glad you had a nice chat with Sandra.
PAULA, did you see the great new pictures on the BW site of the young eagle eating???
Nilla, I hope you are feeling better after having rested. We'll get together one day soon.
Mits, who do you think that juvi looks like over on the BW site....?
I am off to church at 5:00...
BBL
No, Mits, I hadn't seen that yet. That Woody Dawson shoots some great pics....
Eagle in FL
Time to pull the cam back, folks
I am with you Paula. I have seen enough eagle butt now, need to see the head for a while. :):):)
Both eagles in Florida nest but my camera keeps freezing up.
I don't know for sure but I think these Florida eagles are doing the nasty right here on my computer screen.

Jo, didn't get to see the eagles tonight, but I bet it looked like the Spunkster...Yes, Paula, they were wonderful pictures of the young eagle.
Well, I have to say that I am missing our little Buta Buta really bad.
I know you miss her and it is a shame they took her off the air, they did the same thing with Tai when he was around 2 months old, but , the National Zoo still kept the cam up during the night, they just did not move it around
Sharon,
Dusk and Dawn is when they like "doing the nasty dance"!
Mits,
I think Jo was talking about the juvie pics at BW, the eagle on the cam was an adult...The juvie really had a lot of white on him...
I am off to relax on the couch and watch "March of the Penguins". It is on the Hallmark channel tonight if anyone else is interested in catching it...

Yeah, Paula, I knew who she meant, just ran eveything together when I answered her.
I know you are missing him something awful...but he will always come back to MOM.
CSI is on...haven't seen this one.
I have never watched CSI but my sister never misses one. She records it on her DVR all the time.

Good early morning Eagle friends
Eagle in Florida
2 eagle in Florida
Instead of so flat now that nest really looks like an eagles nest now.
Flew off sure they will be back. That nest is moving in the wind today.
The thing I found sad about "March of the Penguins" was when the duck came in for food. They aren't like are eagles that would fight. I had thought somehow the group of them would do something. Since when a parent tried taking someone elses little one. It was very much a learning experience.
Somebody is having breakfast in Florida nest.

Anyone else have the same problem?
Looks as though Tian Tian is bored! He is on Cam 1 hanging lazily over the log.
Mei & Tai are at the building - guess they want a treat. Tai is giving Mei a hard time. Even though Mei gives Tai a body slam - he still comes back for more.
