Butaball is really progressing. She holds that little head up very well and now it's as though she is conscience of her surroundings. Those little back feet act as paddles and helps her turn.
I did vote - took my cheat sheet and was out in no time flat. Looked as though the turn out is a nice steady flow of voters.
Tai and Mei are inside - maybe due to the rain. Tai has his 'honey' box.
I sometimes check out the Brisbane ledge - only thing I ever see is that the plants are growing nicely. I should email beakspeak to take it off the top list.

Still sunny up in Maine which means the cam is not working, there sun goes down about 4:50 up there. There does diffenttly look like some type of bird just sitting beyond the FLA nest.

Well, for the moment my fever has broken so I am not aching as bad as earlier. This has been a tough day. Haven't watched any cams today but Buta Buta. Hopefully it is just a 24-hour bug and I will feel like working at 5 a.m. More will definitely be revealed!

They sure do - takes your breath away for a moment - I am so anxious for the cam to come up - The second cam could very well capture the branch they're always on.
Just noticed the fireplace - The temp seems to be warming - next few days are to be back up in the 70's. It was rainy today and very dismal.
Thought maybe the crackling fire would help folks gather around to chat!

Oh Mema JO, we drove a lot of miles! I would have loved to have driven but it was ok! We probably drove over 2100 miles all total.
Sounds like you all covered a lot of territory. I'm sure the scenery and sights were well worth the drive.

Yes I restarted my computer and it published fine tonight. I had restarted it first thing this morning too though...actually I turned it off all night and it Never did load well all day for me.

The eagles in FLA must be camera shy...haven't seen one since it has been up. Don't know what is wrong with MAINE, 2 weeks ago in all that bad weather it was fine, now...nothing.

Good Wednesday Morning Eagleland. This computer is different. I held down a couple of keys when I started typing this. The keyboard would not type anymore lol crazy. I found a place to uncheck (thank goodness).

Yeah a new update on the zoo page, doesn't help to e-mail them, been doing that for over a year, the only person who responds to me is the KIWI keeper. I don't think Mei is up to snuff lately, may be her hormones or something like that. Elephants still at the pond.

Dana Sometimes the cam looks as though it freezes up, but stick with it because it comes right back on. There are times when the word "communicating" comes on the bottom of the screen and it takes a minute or two to start up again. It isn't common for this all to happen.
Mits Check out DC cams - do you think the one shot is of Tian Tian and not Mei? Mei seems to be walking around now at the bldg on Cam 2 & I think Cam 1 is him.
Looks like TIAN in the new yard, Tai up the tree, I think, and Mei walking back and forth between the old yards???

I am thinking of switching the Feed Blitz site over to The Beta account, and was doing some reading. This is what I discovered, which means if I read it right, sooner or later it is going to affect ALL of us. For the Love of Eagles is already on the Google Beta acocut etc. Might NOT mean anything to you today, BUT think I will be sticking my neck out and trying to get the Eagles from Shepherdstown Blog with all the videos from last year etc. moved over. I am going to try to be sure I have them all saved someplace first ( where I can find them LOL) so we odn't lose any of these int he process. I do like the way the Beta sets up the Blogsite etc. Much easier as administrator to deal with. But I am scared I will lose some important information. Wish me well and stay tuned. MTBR LOL

New records for this year...Well that is a thought Would mean all new Feed Blitz subscripts. I don't know. I am going to SAVE all of that somewhere as I said, and try to switch it over. It does warn you that you can't switch back. My Grandbaby's BLOG is on the original Blogger too. It also has videos etc. I think it switches ALL the BLOGS I have now under glo over at the same time. Yes I do think we are all including Steve and this BLOG going to eventually have to switch. Since there are no video or 3rd party feeds on this site I don't think that is going to become a problem for Steve to switch this over. I have a google account now to set up that For the Love of Eagles BLOG but it has that rediculously long display name about visiting both shops LOL. We'll see how this all plays out...I was just kind of shoocked when I started reading that it came right out and said eventually they will Make us all get a Google account.
.Yes, I do think especially for some of our Bloggers who have a bit of a hard time getting their names in blue etc. the sooner the better, but 2 things

Yahoo accounts are for the eaglet momsters group, they don't have anything to do w/ signing in to the blog.
They are going to require that you get a google account at some point to sign into the blog, that's all. They say it is a more secure login.
