Yes, both eagles were at Vian. One was over the eaglets, the other kept moving closer and closer, edging the other away. I think it won out!
Have been on fb. Laurel sent a link to Attics and Under Liquidations. It took me to their fb page, so I shared it. It is Faye's house. The BIG sale is this weekend. Hope all goes well. They have set it up nicely. See anything you want? LOL
Happy TH to Everyone. Thx for new thread! Partly couldy here, rain for the next few days they say & Very windy Friday!Hope the Chelsea Pond doesn't blow into the office! Gotta get to Post Office & mail stuff for osprey book to Scotland. Gonna check BWE!!Will there be ☺ ☺ ☺?
Have never seen such a big "garage" sale and, LOL, would you believe...there is nothing there I want? I can have, for free, anything...just take it, and no, there is nothing I want.
Hi everyone. congrats to BW sure wish number 3 weren't so far behind the first 2 especially 1. Oh well> Food supply sounds great. Nope haven't been watching that one. Magpie So glad you had a nice visit with your brother. Dana prayers for your friend who just lost her hubby. Sad indeed. Prayers for Luna's surgery I surely hope they can help her. Enjoy your day everyone. We have winter storm coming and snow in forecast for next 5 days actually. Tonight is heaviest amount though. I have been to grocery and have my comfort food. Dex has comfort food too LOL.
Got some hatch pics I sent to BW. Put them on the Blog for those who missed the Blessed Event. Thank you birds for waiting for my day off! Now I can go to store!! BBL~~~☺
Lolly, my 2 acres of woods are backed by more woods....don't think it will impact much EXCEPT that it is probably greatly bothering the deer and turkey who live back there. They aren't clear-cutting....just taking out large, straight millable wood. I hope they don't take the big pine---suspect that is where the red-tail hawks live.
Just ready to start my walk when I saw the hatching. Great pics Loweeda! I think now we all have an eaglet to cheer on. Life, at first, is not going to be easy for #3.
I doubt that they will develop the property anytime soon. But I sure don't like seeing the broken trees that were hit by the felled by the big ones, and all of the treetops left lying around. Hope they come back and clean that up. Notice that it is encroaching on good neighbors boundary....they haven't gotten close to mine yet.
Very good friend just emailed me that grandchild #4 is on the way. One of her daughters lives in Honduras and they are down there for a couple of months with her. She said they will be going back down there in Oct when this one is due. Need to go email her back. We had three grands before she had any and now she is going to be ahead of us!
Kathryn just posted on FB that Luna's surgery is now postponed until Tuesday. No explanation yet from her........grrrr. Poor Luna. Don;t these people realize that it's about 100 mile round-trip for Kat????
Good Afternoon everyone..... Looks like things at NCTC are going well. I was hoping to get rid of more snow today befor the rains start. It's just not melting very fast.
Shirley from FB: Vet is not going to be a round Sunday and Monday and is concerned she would not be available if she has any post - op problems. I could take her to a emergency clinic, but it would be expensive and they probably couldn't help her. This would have been nice to know earlier!!
Hi Donnie - There isn't any sunshine out there today beyond all the clouds. The rain will need to wash it away. All is well at the nest ... BWE had their 3rd egg hatch awhile ago
Oh, poor Katherine and poor Luna. Not easy to be dragging this out so long.
Heading in to change clothes and going outside to work in the yard. I have more Columbine to clean, larkspur to thin, and just general clean up. We were supposed to have a rainy day. It sprinkled this morning but now it is 70 and the sun is out. So...out I go!
Kat also posted this: 54 miles from Fredericksburg to Fairfax + 28 miles from Fairfax to Dumfries + 28 Miles from Dumfries to Fairfax + 54 Miles from Fairfax to Fredericksburg.... not to mention the traffic = Kathryn is losing her sanity.
I didn't know she was having to go out to Dumfries! Criminy.
Good afternoon everyone. I just wanted to report my bird inventory today. Been a very busy day.
Mourning doves, red-winged blackbirds, grackles, starlings, chipping sparrows, cowbird, cardinals, finches, titmice, chickadees, downy woodpecker, a chicken, red-bellied woodpeckers, nuthatches, white-throated sparrows, robins in the field and eastern bluebirds, dark-eyed juncos. One of the starlings has only 1 leg and he does quite well.
Having a blueberry and yogurt break. Silly Annie is sitting here staring at my dish. Thinks she is going to get some. I was running out of energy, thought I better fuel up! I think I should have put lotion on my arms. The sun is getting to me.
I have a doctor's appointment myself on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I do not even remember the doctor's name. It is a dermatologist/plastic surgeon for my facial scars from the accident in December.
Hi, Everyone, I am just now getting here--have been panda napping today after an intense English class last night. Was so tired last night I couldn't get to sleep, and up early as usual this morning. It's funny--Emma's been sleeping a lot today, too! Am saying lots of prayers for Kate. I'm glad there's no surgery in her near future, but her condition sounds EXTREMELY painful! Dana, hope you feel better really soon. Prayers! Prayers for the husband and wife who just lost her son. Prayers for the family he left behind, too! Welcome to the 3rd BWE chick! Oh, golly! Sorry to hear that Luna's surgery has been postponed again. I can understand why they decided to wait, though. But poor Kathryn! Prayers for her sanity, for sure!
Lynn, sorry for the commotion behind your place! Poor Mai! Emma is doing better today because the chainsaw gang has left our area. Hope those loggers clean up their mess by your place! Well, I need to go shower and get myself looking presentable for tonight's class. Hope I find out something about where my externship will be, and when! Will be back later tonight, after school. Might be kind of late, because I have a lot of transcription to do. Have a good evening! :o]
Geeeesh I guess I don't understand why Luna's family has been expecting surgery now twice and still no surgery. How hard it must be on them. I can't imagine the stress this family is under trying to help their dog. Well anyway I don't understand.
Oh, I missed the launch, and the hatching (but not by much this morning late) and the calling out at OUR nest.... but I did see the feeding of the 3 bobbleheads at BWE - if I had had live feed up I would have caught the calling out ! day late and a dollar short
Paula that was a great egg crack pic on BWE - if it was yours: Bravo !
Wow! They just said on the news that someone shot a bald eagle in Southern West Virginia! I am appalled!! That just blows my mind. Why in the world would someone want to kill such a regal majestic beauty!!!!!?????? Bring em up here! I know some people that would love to get their hands on them, DON'T WE EAGLET MOMSTERS????
I am too pooped to pop. Filled two wheelbarrows full of leaves and dead stuff. That's my limit! It's the getting up and down that gets me. LOL Need to get in shape!
Good Evening. Looks like our bird friends are sleeping on egglets or chicklets!
Getting really tired tonight. Want to see a couple tv shows, but may konk out. If I'm not back, want to tell all hitting the hay Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>). Prayers for those with losses or illness & all our animals and their families ☺ ♥
Taping AI on VCR off antenna, Jo. Grey's and CSI on now and then PP and Mentalist....watching one and recording other!
FROM PIXController on FB: We are having major issues with our ISP that we use for our webcams. The ISP keeps dropping our network connection and we can't keep the webcams running. Hopefully this issue will get resolved soon.
Lolly, glad you are too pooped to POP----we DON'T want Lolly splattered all over the place! LOL.
I am so tired. Will be heading upstairs to crash. Still getting used to coming home, rushing to the sitter's, then fixing dinner for three and feeding pets while supervising homework. Of course, in the old days, I did all of that and fixed dinner for six.
Weather alarm went off again this evening for a high wind warning. At least it sounded before we went to bed.
Kathryn is supposed to take Luna back to Fairfax tomorrow so they can observe her. She is paying a fortune in gasoline money. This has been tough.
Shouldn't complain. We do have many blessings and we have each other.
Aren't Derek and Savannah the eagles in the enclosure with the low-to-the-ground nest? WOw---would think there would be some kind of high observation post that they would have/use there where they would have known the number of eggs before now.
Lynn, I would have thought so too, but they don't want to get close and scare them off the nest.
They are building a new observation enclosure to be able to observe the eagles without being seen. They will also allow visitors to go into the enclosure to view the eagles.
Sure is a lot of Eagle Action everywhere! I opened up Decorah just in time to see the parent get up, preen the area of the brood patch for a few mins, then re-roost.. Thanks BEagle and Jo for the links...
and thanks everyone else for all the info about the nests everywhere !
I finished my 2 shows - One was a finale and everyone ended up very well in order to start next season!
I can see Belle's tent - just hope that the high winds won't disrupt the nest.
Hope that the 3 little ones stay warm and that Mom & Dad know how blessed they are. I am really looking forward to just having two in our nest this season. I've always seen 3 or just 1.
Goodnight, dear friends. Sleep well, and may everyone feel better if ailing, happier if sad, energetic if tired....and be safe in all that you do! Love ya' all!
Well, what's wrong with a Lolly Pop? I see nothing wrong with it!☺
Been vegging out watching TV. Watched AI, then Grey's and PP which I had recorded. Also, I watched in the bedroom as Jack was watching the STARS. We need a new TV for the study but have not bought it yet.
Worried about Lynne and Steve. She has not been on today, has she?
Geez, didn't realize I hadn't been on here all evening...was tired when I got home from GG's and just spent the evening propped up; felt good! Am. Idol is going to be interesting this season...many very good singers.
NEW TRAIL CAM ON WILD AND WONDERFUL Caught a deer on the run. Don't see many of them now, with the houses going in across the street:(
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS FOR ALL
Paula, I knew that some part of the Carolina Raptor Center was in Huntersville. I am now trying to figure if that is where the eagles are. That is my hometown. It's a small town just north of Charlotte. I know it has changed since the last time I was there.
It is the headquarters of Joe Gibbs's NASCAR Racing. I have not been back since my mother passed away in 1993.
Sorry I missed AI tonight. Good to know they have some good singers this year. I watched some of the earlier programs, but life around here has taken a crazy turn.
Good morning everyone. We have a lighter snowfall than expected, probably like 2 inches. Phew I am so glad. Do need to get a path for easier walking to the neighbors though. Dex "feetsies get cold" :-) Anyway. I hope there isn't going to be lots of rain at the nest today. Tis the season still I'm afraid.
I have a new Glo's Glimpses where I am asking for your help to choose this months 3 entries. If you have a minute take speak and let me know your choices. I do value your input. Please leave your choices on my Blog if you could. Thanks. Here is the link.
Today's nest weather-Rain showers...mainly this morning. Windy with highs in the mid 50s. Temperature falling to around 40 this afternoon. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 50 mph...increasing to west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph this afternoon.
Oh my stars GLO! I've just looked at the first picture, haven't even started your slide show and I'm blown away. You are such a great photographer. Do you sell them?
Congratulations to Savannah and Derek. Hope I can catch a glimpse of BWE babes today. Will also try to check in on Belle and Lib.
So sorry for Shirley and the dilemma with Luna and the surgery. Shirley, if Kathryn wants a second opinion in Fairfax, we had an outstanding vet and no hesitation in recommending.
Have not been able to access nests so really appreciate the updates. So weird. If I access NCTC and then try to open any other cam the computer freezes and I can't do anything. Very annoying to say the least.
Was scheduled for therapy this a.m. but have canceled. Raining and, for today, I just don't feel like going through it. Besides, Darth is having some flu type symptoms.
As I can't watch nests I think I will make an apple pie later on and search for some different take on smashed potatoes to go with steak tonight. Also think I'll make some homemade blu cheese dressing. Good grief, I sound like Lolly this morning -- Hi Lolly!
YES Lori I have sold some of them. Email me if you are interested. I give my eagle friends a good deal indeed. Now having said that Go back and tell me what photos you like :-). Thanks You can post right there since you already are signed into Blogger.
Good foggy, dreary morning. (???) Miserable day out there.
From Pix Controller: We continue to have problems with our ISP, Comcast, which seems to be dropping our Internet connection about every 1-2 minutes. We can't seem to stream our webcams at the moment but will continue to work on the problem.
Judie, do you like garlic? Garlic smashed taters made with some extra sour cream and even some cream cheese thrown in is good. Also, parsley potatoes. Leave the taters in chunks, drain, and add parsley and butter.
I am sure it is a hard decision for Luna's family But at this stage of the game I would be considering a second opinion and since she is driving through Fairfax anyway.
I fought so hard to try to save Dex's sight. My Vet made an emergency referral to an Animal Hospital in IA and we were sitting in that office about an hour late. We made several trips and ran tests etc etc. We lost the battle and he lost his sight BUT I do feel like we were surrounded by Professionals who stepped right up to the plate to try to help and then helped me rule out cancer and pain and we are happy healthy comfortable and very loved but yes we did lose the battle to keep his sight. It would have driven me crazy too if my Vet hadn't stepped right up to the plate, referred me, gotten me right in. I have the peace of knowing everything we knew to do, we did do ASAP.
Judie, I have much the same problem...often....live feeds really slow things down here, me and the dinosaur
Glad you are staying home, and Sorry! that Darth is feeling puny....hope that he feels better fast and here are some feel good hugs (( hugs ♥ )) but I think the apple pie might do more good !!
I need to jump on here so as to not be put on the MIA list:)
Had a good visit with GG, yesterday. Spirits and appetite were very good. Doctor removed the 'thingy' on her cheek, because freezing it didn't work. Doing a biopsy...will let me know results in a few days. I made an appointment to have some 'thingys' removed from my face. Must run in the family:)
I think I already mentioned it, but will again...Wild and Wonderful has a new Trail Cam video. There is a very quick shot of a deer running through the wood, which is rare these days.
An apple pie, Judie? And home made Bleu Cheese dressing...yes, you do sound like Lolly;) Baked chicken and Lasagna for supper tonight. Making little nuggets for Jayden, he will eat almost anything. We had hot dogs and sauerkraut (New Yorkers) one evening when Karla and Donny were here and Jayden couldn't get enough of the sauerkraut!
Lynn, as a LAST RESORT, have you tried a rolled up newspaper on Mai's snout when she bites? I know, I know...my bad!

Yes, both eagles were at Vian. One was over the eaglets, the other kept moving closer and closer, edging the other away. I think it won out!

They have set it up nicely. See anything you want? LOL
Now is not the time for BWE to have trouble, but it is getting worse. Big blue line now. Whoops it went away, but still a mess.
Happy TH to Everyone. Thx for new thread!

Saw Lisa's BWE egg pic of less than an hour ago. Crack all the way across. Now if Lady BW would just stand up, we'll be happy!
Mo0m BW is up!
Still just a hole in the egg, proving that a watched egg...never hatches. LOL
I am off to eat breakfast and walk. Groan!
Baby BW almost out. They want lunch!
Yipppeeeee. #3 at BWE !!!
Sure needs to dry off a bit...
Hurray for the BWE nest
Well thank goodness. I need to get myself back to work. Haha

GOOD MORNING,
EVERYONE.

I still have not seen the new eaglet....move, Lady B!
Prayers for your friends on their loss, Dana.
Lolly, my 2 acres of woods are backed by more woods....don't think it will impact much EXCEPT that it is probably greatly bothering the deer and turkey who live back there. They aren't clear-cutting....just taking out large, straight millable wood.

Just ready to start my walk when I saw the hatching. Great pics Loweeda! I think now we all have an eaglet to cheer on. Life, at first, is not going to be easy for #3.
There you go, Lynn. #3 is still partly in the egg, I think.
Chicks is view at BWE...that 3rd one is under there somewhere, LOL
Maybe mom is removing the shell?
BWE feeding going on
Well, she insists on blocking our view!
Well, I still only see 2 at BWE.....both in full view.....
How about a picture, Lynn?
#3 still half in egg.
Wish I knew exactly what I am seeing at BWE - I think mom removed the egg - Maybe? I see the two chicks clearly
Well until she squatted on them.
THanks for pics, Loretta! Good sequence.
Very good friend just emailed me that grandchild #4 is on the way. One of her daughters lives in Honduras and they are down there for a couple of months with her. She said they will be going back down there in Oct when this one is due. Need to go email her back. We had three grands before she had any and now she is going to be ahead of us!
Interesting, Paula----do cars block the signal physically, or is it an electrical interference??
Kathryn just posted on FB that Luna's surgery is now postponed until Tuesday. No explanation yet from her........grrrr. Poor Luna. Don;t these people realize that it's about 100 mile round-trip for Kat????
I don't know Lynn....Lisa had mentioned it, but never specified. I would guess physically, because some of the equipment is right there by the road.
That's got to be frustrating for Kathryn!
Wanda just posted a video of the trail cam on FB - Very good coverage... black cat and more - lots more.
Good Afternoon everyone.....
Looks like things at NCTC are going well. I was hoping to get rid of more snow today befor the rains start. It's just not melting very fast.
Maybe Luna is regaining some of her sight - I hope that Kathryn can hold her own through all of this.
Oh, I can't get FB. I did not know Luna's surgery has been postponed again.
Will have to check with Kathryn.

The rain will need to wash it away.
All is well at the nest ...
BWE had their 3rd egg hatch awhile ago
Thanks Jo,
Thats good news. I hope they have as good of luck as we did with three. It's a lot of work to raise three !!!
Ohhh big wing streach !!
Oh, poor Katherine and poor Luna. Not easy to be dragging this out so long.

Thanks for that info on NASA Hedgie
Rain drops starting here in the valley
Raining here and at the nest too, just a light rain right now.
Oops....sorry! 289 on DirecTV.
A few sprinkles here, but nothing much yet.
A house sparrow, blue jays, crows, but no partridge in a pear tree! :-)
Having a blueberry and yogurt break. Silly Annie is sitting here staring at my dish. Thinks she is going to get some. I was running out of energy, thought I better fuel up! I think I should have put lotion on my arms. The sun is getting to me.
Would you believe...78? I do not like it, Sam I AM!!!!
Well, Sharon, no partridge here either, but I did start the day with a rs hawk!
Three in view at BWE!
#3 still can not get his heavy head up. LOL Oh, there it is. I see his eyes! Come on, little one!
Ok, back to the yard!
Called Kathryn. She is on her way to Fairfax once again. I will be picking up Hunter from the sitter, so I had better get rolling now.
Yes, Kathryn is worried about missing time from work and all of the driving, etc. She is exhausted.
I have a doctor's appointment myself on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I do not even remember the doctor's name. It is a dermatologist/plastic surgeon for my facial scars from the accident in December.
I see a little bit of tenting action from Belle.
Lady BW sure keeps those chicklets nice and warm :)
Hi, Everyone,

Oh, golly! Sorry to hear that Luna's surgery has been postponed again. I can understand why they decided to wait, though. But poor Kathryn! Prayers for her sanity, for sure!
Oh, SHirley, I'm sure Kat IS exhausted.....and that 95 traffic is hair-raising at times. Hope her boss is being very tolerant.
9 minutes before launch....
Liftoff
BLAST OFF
Another fish delivery, I think, at BWE
Nice long view of chicklets. Bunch of bobbleheads, lol
Parent is eating.
Geeeesh I guess I don't understand why Luna's family has been expecting surgery now twice and still no surgery. How hard it must be on them. I can't imagine the stress this family is under trying to help their dog. Well anyway I don't understand.
What in the world is happening at the nest?
Belle really callingout and upset....something flew behind the nest from left to right.
she is still calling out!
Good question!
She is still calling out and looking around!
Lib may have been chasing something, swear it looked like an eagle flying behind the nest.
OMG---I have sound from our nest....heard bird song! Belle is really calling out...Lib, where ARE you? I want off of here for a break!
Lovely launch! Last one for Discovery...:(
Something definitely flew behind the nest, but I couldn't tell what.
All's quiet, although Belle is still looking to the right and behind her
I imagine it's a no-fly zone there, just like we have for our airplanes. Think Lib did the 'escorting' out of the zone!
I was watching the space shuttle launch
Following the lift off with cameras is amazing!
Our eagle is Tenting
BWE has pic of the newest - so little!
I'll need to call him Tiny or Peanut!
More calling out.
Sharon I think you have the highest back yard bird count - don't forget there are 3 chickens and 1 cat (Oh Well guess he doesn't count).
So has everything calmed down at the nest.. ? I was still Plugged into NASA and missed it all. Could be one of the juvies from our past..
Dinner time soon
BBILW
There she goes! she is really calling out
Now she is up out of the bowl and then started calling....off she went to the right...oh OK and there's Lib.
Started to leave until all the commotion began.....
Scary to see her fly off and leave the eggs - really happy to see Lib take over.
Lib's egg roll was the best ever to see. The curled talons and he moved
those 2 eggs just where he wanted them.
Missed all that---had to let Mai out. Still barely sprinkling.
But it feels raw out there.
Wouldn't it be something if it WAS one of the juvies, Jo??
I never tire of watching a launch or landing. So very sad to think that the program is near its end.
Andy, didn't know you had chainsaw activity going on, too.
BWE is feeding the chicks. All look healthy.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Er..... was feeding. She's very quick this season, but I still don't know how she knows when I am typing a comment.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Oh, I missed the launch, and the hatching (but not by much this morning late)
and the calling out at OUR nest....
but I did see the feeding of the 3 bobbleheads at BWE - if I had had live feed up I would have caught the calling out !
day late and a dollar short
Paula that was a great egg crack pic on BWE - if it was yours: Bravo !
I love the way Liberty tends the eggs ! Even if I did miss it this time
So sorry to hear of the delay once again for Luna ! Shirley...and Kathryn, and all: (( Hugs ♥ )) and prayers
funny Jim !! Same with me, they are very quick at that nest !!!
good to see you at a "civilized" time of the day !! ☺
like the flower report, Lolly, - what you were thinning and fussing with
and the bird report, Sharon...
hey how about quail ?? Ha Ha...
Magpie, no quail yet but around here anything is possible.
Sissy posted on FB:
Doesn't that make you sick? If we all took our ragle canes to the perp, it would probably be more justifiable punishment than he'll get in this state!
Cam is herky-jerky.....Lib came and left in a blur, and now Belle is blurry, too.
Sharon:
I sent you some ! did you get them, the quail ?? ( oh, just the card with pictures.)
Miserable report of the Eagle being shot....
Jim BWE has a bird's eye view on you! lol
cam was all ghostly here too, time of the night I guess
Belle was pretty forthright about getting her spot back !
Maybe I got Sharon and Sissy mixed up and sent the card to Bluefield and not Bedford !
Anyone here ever read the book, very little and dear, entitled
Cat Quotations ??
No Magpie, I did get the quail and it was a beautiful card! Thanks!
a mere 25-cents at the local Rescue Mission store....
got to get back to bed here...
I leave you with one quote:
"One small cat changes coming home to an empty house into coming home." (pam brown)
Best wishes for a good night, wet and soggy here...

I am waiting on returning grackles....have seen one robin and heard one other robin that I didn't see
okay, NOW bye now
I am too pooped to pop. Filled two wheelbarrows full of leaves and dead stuff. That's my limit! It's the getting up and down that gets me. LOL Need to get in shape!
The talk about the picture of a Quail -
That's a very good reminder of Deb...
I miss her. ♥
Ah, yes, Lolly, those sore muscles from working in the yard!
Hello everyone!
I went to the Decorah nest and she just laid an egg. Here's the copy and paste address. It might get you there if interested. (What an address!)

Decorah Eagle Nest
Wow! BEagle - they only started broadcasting 2 days ago. Glad she waited until now to lay the egg.
Thanks so much..
I have been watching them for more than two days MemaJo. Maybe they were airing videos or something.
Thanks for posting that link!
Decorah nest is certainly loud, lots of hum and hear a dog barking.
I guess I just saw headlights of a vehicle in the upper part of the screen going by.
Two on the Decorah nest and trading places. Making a lot of noise too.
Decorah egg in view.
There are many Sitting Eagles.
She is beautiful - good view - wonder how large that nest is...... looks small
lol I was going to answer one of their questions on the blog BUT they are too dingbatty for me........
They have a much better cam now that before. Give a nice image.
Oh yea?
I'm going to check.
The chatters are discussing a troll right now.
YEA for Decorah! Did you get to watch her lay it, BEagle?
I think it was laid on the 23rd, Paula.
No, did not see that one.
It was laid yesterday.
The White Rock eagle is sitting in the nest now.
Thanks, Jo. I DID read the info below the cam, guess the date didn't sink it, thought it was today.
I also thought that, Paula. So therefore I thought BEAGLE saw it hatch!
Loretta - left you a message on your pics of BWE from today. Good Pics.
American Idol is on from 8:00 to 10:00
Are any of you missing it.....
It wiped out one show that I watch at
9:00 but I have a second choice.. No biggy..........
WE and TH are on their nests.
Going to go and get comfy clothes on
BRB
Off to my TV show
BBL
Taping AI on VCR off antenna, Jo. Grey's and CSI on now and then PP and Mentalist....watching one and recording other!
FROM PIXController on FB:
We are having major issues with our ISP that we use for our webcams. The ISP keeps dropping our network connection and we can't keep the webcams running. Hopefully this issue will get resolved soon.
Lolly, glad you are too pooped to POP----we DON'T want Lolly splattered all over the place! LOL.
Fairly good evening with Mai....nail snagged me while we were playing ball.....3 blood-lettings total for the day!
Oh, lordy no, we don't want Lolly to pop.
God bless and good night . . .
Hurray!!

Updated today at 12:20 PM
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. -- It's official: Savannah and Derek have two eggs in their nest.
Both eggs were spotted Thursday morning as Savannah briefly left the nest to eat. The eggs are expected to hatch next week.
Belle tenting.
Ha Ha. That's funny that you thought I actually saw the Decorah lay her egg.
That is too funny.
I have been watching that nest for several days. More than two days if you check my posts.
It's the way I talk I guess. WE nest just laid an egg too! And so did TH.
Just means recently. If I had seen the eagle laying the egg I would have hollered.
Praying for you.
Goodnight ♥
Shirley, you've just got to remember that you---along with the rest of us---have gotten a wee bit older since you carried that big a load!
Santa Cruz report for the week is up:
Santa Cruz
Rugged country!
And Derek and Savannah are at Carolina Raptor Center. They have a FB page...they didn't even announce it there. I posted it on their page.
Tomorrow is Friday
make that Red Friday
got my red shirt out and ready to wear soon...
that was awhile back I watched the Eagle preening...when I was on one of my wandering breaks...
Going to say
Good Night... to those heading for the pillows soon...
and to those already there...
Hope Sleep is Sweet...
Hope Friday is a good day, the weather hereabouts is going to be tricky, rain, wind....
Prayers for friends, families, pets, wildlife...well, really, prayers for everything and everyone...
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo ♥
sure is nice NOT to be getting that service error 503 ☺
I finished my 2 shows - One was a finale and everyone ended up very well in order to start next season!
I can see Belle's tent - just hope that the high winds won't disrupt
the nest.
Hope that the 3 little ones stay warm and that Mom & Dad know how blessed they are. I am really looking forward to just having two in our nest this season. I've always seen 3 or just 1.
Praying that Lynne and Steve are improving and starting to feel better.
Headed to the pillows
Good Night Everyone and prayers for you and yours!
Hugs to everyone ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Yup, Jo, 2 will be something new for us!
Good and wet out there tonight...but not too terrible cold.
Hitting the hay.
Hugs to all ♥
Paula, good that they will have an observation blind!! Boo that nobody updated their FB page....bet they feel foolish now!!
Time to say good night. Time to read a short while before heading to bed.
Sweet dreams!
Geez, didn't realize I hadn't been on here all evening...was tired when I got home from GG's and just spent the evening propped up; felt good! Am. Idol is going to be interesting this season...many very good singers.
NEW TRAIL CAM ON WILD AND WONDERFUL
Caught a deer on the run. Don't see many of them now, with the houses going in across the street:(
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS FOR ALL
Having trouble sleeping, so I got up for a bit.
Good night again. See you later.
Good Morning Eaglet Fans!
Poor Belle looks soaked.
Rain has stopped here for now. Belle just shook off and flew out- here's Lib.
Hi Megan. Thanks for the Lib tip-off. I probably wouldn't have noticed! :) I'm working on it.
Hey Lori:)
Just happened to be watching when she flew off.
Choices
Today's nest weather-Rain showers...mainly this morning. Windy with highs in the mid 50s. Temperature falling to around 40 this afternoon. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 50 mph...increasing to west 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph this afternoon.
Oh my stars GLO! I've just looked at the first picture, haven't even started your slide show and I'm blown away. You are such a great photographer. Do you sell them?
Good morning!
Have to take advantage of access when I can.
Going back to bed with my coffee. BBL
YES Lori I have sold some of them. Email me if you are interested. I give my eagle friends a good deal indeed. Now having said that Go back and tell me what photos you like :-). Thanks You can post right there since you already are signed into Blogger.
Good foggy, dreary morning. (???)
Miserable day out there.
From Pix Controller:
We continue to have problems with our ISP, Comcast, which seems to be dropping our Internet connection about every 1-2 minutes. We can't seem to stream our webcams at the moment but will continue to work on the problem.
Morning, all!
Judie, do you like garlic? Garlic smashed taters made with some extra sour cream and even some cream cheese thrown in is good. Also, parsley potatoes. Leave the taters in chunks, drain, and add parsley and butter.
Hope Darth feels better.
And hope to hear from Lynne today, too.
Great day to stay in!
Judie,
I have much the same problem...often....live feeds really slow things down here, me and the dinosaur
Glad you are staying home, and Sorry! that Darth is feeling puny....hope that he feels better fast and here are some feel good hugs (( hugs ♥ ))
but I think the apple pie might do more good !!
Good Morning, Eagle Friends...
xo
I need to jump on here so as to not be put on the MIA list:)
Had a good visit with GG, yesterday. Spirits and appetite were very good.
Doctor removed the 'thingy' on her cheek, because freezing it didn't work. Doing a biopsy...will let me know results in a few days.
I made an appointment to have some 'thingys' removed from my face. Must run in the family:)
I think I already mentioned it, but will again...Wild and Wonderful has a new Trail Cam video. There is a very quick shot of a deer running through the wood, which is rare these days.
REd-winged blackbirds sounding off at NCTC !!
Split coming up soon
and what in the world else !
Sounds like Geese and People !
don't s'pose it could have been Tundra Swans, was too mixed up to tell
that little white patch on Belle's back wing sure seems more noticeable these days... Get ready for the Split
I MEAN LIBERTY'S BACK NOT BELLE'S
WAS THINKING ONE THING AND TYPED ANOTHER !!
An apple pie, Judie? And home made Bleu Cheese dressing...yes, you do sound like Lolly;)
Baked chicken and Lasagna for supper tonight.
