Thought I'd check in on our birds and to my suprize,,,it says that there's an egg!!!!! I'll be watching again this year for sure, hope the weather ccporates this year
I know - I had the nest site up all day because I knew it was close. I was just going to close the site about 7:00 because it was getting dark and noticed Belle in the nest, but with a lot of white feathers showing so I came to the blog. Had I not turned down the sound, I would have heard her chirping and would have been watching - ah well. An egg this year is good news. YAY!!!!!
Belle is back. I could not get the cam open this morning with Firefox. Just a blank screen. Opened it on internet explorer. Later I tried again on firefox and it opened. So keep trying.
Good morning everyone! I have been watching and catching up on the blog. Opened the cam with Belle standing and looking at the egg. "Well, just look at that cute egg."I am sure that is what she was thinking. Then saw Lib fly in with a stick. Then saw the whole family before Belle flew off.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... Belle has wiggled so much this morning that she has probably worn all the feathers off of her tummy:) I got a good look at the Joy-Boo egg...got a photo. Will see if its the same as Lynn's.
I so loved the name Boo for our first chick (it will have such meaning for us, Like Palmer), but, as Paula said, JOY would be sweet too. Maybe when Paula is not so heartbroken from her loss, she will re-think the name Boo. We, of course will follow her wishes!
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY♥

I said:Wow...I am lucky today. Had just gathered up trash and was getting ready to skate out to get papers and put trash out....secretly hoping that Bill would show up (he cut me a board for bottom of downstairs crate) a nd VOILA!! He here came. So I am safe for another day!! Can't tell you how much ice scares me!
After all kinds of messing around, I am able to get the live cam. Could not get IE. Says it might be blocked by a firewall. That is odd. So I tried to get Google Chrome, but that did not work. I tried Firefox again and it worked this time.
I think I will ask for help with IE when I get to work on Monday.
Kathryn thought she was going to get Hunter started on his school project this weekend, but, of course, he did not bring his homework folder home because he did not have homework due Monday.
Thanks, Lynn/Hedgie - I live NW of Boston so my world involves a lot of snow - thick icicles hanging down 10 ft from the roof - knock 'em down, sun comes out and icicles again. Wouldn't be so bad if I was further out in the country where it is pretty, but within the city limits I see big dirty "plow mountains." At least the nest is sweet serenity -
Good morning everyone! What a wonderful world it is! Our Royal Eagle couple are such experts at 'egg care'. So good to see all you folks checking in and better yet that you are remembered from years past. Hi Bill and FuzzleMA -
Well I just posted my Good morning 2 Blogs ago. No wonder I have decided to not do too much today except enjoy home, and watch NCTC. Nothing I said was important enough to repeat except Good Morning :-)
Hello to all - yeah, Lynn, quite a winter for the NE - but you know, I really thought the NE was all about snow and this is the most I've seen since I moved here about 15 years ago! GLAD it's US though and not the nest - broke my heart to see Belle and Lib last year losing the eggs.
No eaglet has EVER toppled out of the nest when I tell them to be careful when they get to the edge to poop shoot...I have POWERS! They LISTEN to me! LOL!
Hi, Geula! GOod to see you. How's everything in Israel? Hope no unrest as in Egypt. Thanks for asking that question and Paula for answering----I had forgotten, too!!
Enjoy the eagle show, everyone! Getting ready to go to daughter's for Super Bowl - live in Patriots country, but a STEELER girl at heart - sorry NE bloggers, but I'm from Pittsburgh and proud of it - where is my 'terrible towel?"
I finally got out of the PJ's I'd had on since yesterday, and took Nugz in the car with me for a quick ride to the store. Had my breakfast, now I have to go shower and get some food ready for the game...
Lynn, I thought about bringing Nugz, but there are going to be a lot of people there...and house not real big. And not sure I want to deal with the "Where's Boo" question from the gkids today.
I am making a chicken and broccoli holiday wreath from Pampered Chef. Will put recipe and pics on my blog...think ya'll will like this recipe.
Kathryn rescued the chinchillas and took them directly to a rescue person who can take care of them. She did not even bring them here, which is a very good thing.
They were living in horrible conditions. The woman she took them to threw away the cage and all of the equipment. We would have not had anything to put them in if we had done that.
They were not getting proper food and were living in filth. They were very eager to eat and roll in a sand bath. (That's how chinchillas bathe.) These poor critters wanted to bathe at the same time.
Since they are male and female, it is likely that the female is pregnant. Not good. There has not been proper nutrition.
Susan said it is a good thing she did not pick them up because she would have been tempted to throw a brick at the people who let them live this way.
Glad Nuzg is doing well...I think you have made the right decision. You need not all the questions from the little ones. You still need some time. (((((HUGS))))) Go and enjoy !! ( :
Red bell peppers are not hot. They are very sweet and yummy. Red peppers are green peppers turned ripe.
I saw a documentary on chinchillas and they are very sensitive to cold and dirty circumstances. They don't do well in those conditions. It is nice that Kathryn rescued them.
The recipe looks very delicious Paula. Gotta try it. Have a very nice evening.
Egg #2 almost certainly there....she just won't turn the right way for it to show clearly. Think I saw it a couple of times and now she has settled into cup and is mantled a bit. Congrats NBG!
I feel like I have been laboring. LOL Watched this all they way through. Not for sure when the second egg arrived, but I saw 2 a couple of times before she wiggle waggled down.
I hope the male flew off to get some sushi for her. That seemed like a long drawn out affair. The moderators also saw two eggs Good Eye Lolly! Whew! is so right BEagle!

So far, so good on the weather Bill. Fingers crossed.
This makes my fourth year, there's alot of folks here in Elkins keeping tabs on this nest
Lib is sure working on that egg
I know - I had the nest site up all day because I knew it was close. Ooops Sorry. Shd have said Fuzzle.
I think she just chirped once, the little sneakster.
Good morning,
Still waiting for the live cam. My computer is very slow. I have not yet seen the egg. I could not see it last night and so far no go this morning.
Lib off the egg, Belle flew in and Lib flew out.
Belle is back.
I could not get the cam open this morning with Firefox. Just a blank screen. Opened it on internet explorer. Later I tried again on firefox and it opened. So keep trying.
Ok honey it's your turn now. There ya go.
Yes just keep trying Strong. Now there's our girl that fills the nest bowl very nicely.
Libs back
Is Lib wanting back on the egg?
HOPE EVERYONE IS GETTING A GOOD LOOK AT BOTH BELLE AND LIB AND BABY EGG RIGHT NOW -
And Belle flew.
Any time now Lib. Now get on that egg!
Good morning everyone! I have been watching and catching up on the blog. Opened the cam with Belle standing and looking at the egg. "Well, just look at that cute egg."I am sure that is what she was thinking. Then saw Lib fly in with a stick. Then saw the whole family before Belle flew off.
Now come on Lib, cover that egg!
Nice to see sunshine on the nest.
Finally Libs on the egg. Five minutes off was making me anxious.
I am going to read the paper now, but will have the cam up and be watching.
Have a great Sunday!
Good Morning Eagle Pals...and a lot of you there are !
Nice avatar Megan !
and
Happy Birthday to Sandra....
Have a Glorious One! We are ☺

Megan, I didn't realize it's that warm at the nest. That makes sense.
☺☺ ♫♫ Happy Birthday, Sandra!! ♫♫ ☺☺
Welcome back, FuzzleMA and Bill!! Hope all is good in your worlds.
Bill, nice to hear that lots of Elkiners are watching!!
Sleep tight, Margy.
Shirley, check out album for pics of eggbert!!
Looks like Lib is going to sit a spell :)
Glad you got your cam on, Shirley. You can't miss this action!
I will do that, Lynn.
Oh my, Kathryn is going through Hunter's book bag. Finding some yucky things there. Some unidentifiable.
I want to see it on the live cam, too. Watching and waiting.
Kathryn thought she was going to get Hunter started on his school project this weekend, but, of course, he did not bring his homework folder home because he did not have homework due Monday.
Ah, the joys of motherhood.
Somebody named Shirley is on the blog under the live cam. It is another Shirley. Interesting.
Pannekuchens are on the griddle. Anyone coming? Blueberry!!
Was reading the other blog. Now I have lost the picture again. Wonder if there is a connection?
Thanks, Lynn/Hedgie - I live NW of Boston so my world involves a lot of snow - thick icicles hanging down 10 ft from the roof - knock 'em down, sun comes out and icicles again. Wouldn't be so bad if I was further out in the country where it is pretty, but within the city limits I see big dirty "plow mountains." At least the nest is sweet serenity -
Sounds yummy, Lynn! Not sure I can make it while they are still hot.
Got the picture back.
Fuzzle.....is it Irene??.....you are getting the awful stuff that we have dodged. GOod for us (esp. after last year) but bad for you.
Is that still Lib on the nest?
Shirley, maybe it's the "too many viewers" thing...:(
That sounds yummy Lynn. Mmmmmm booberries.
Yup, that's Lib on the nest.
Maybe so, Lynn. We might have a lot of viewers this morning.
Your area has had quite a winter, Fuzzle.
Good morning everyone! What a wonderful world it is! Our Royal Eagle couple are such experts at 'egg care'.

Nice to see sunshine at NBG, too. It is time for them to have egg #2.
I do not see it mentioned. Anyone know?
My live feed which I bring up on IE
was very speedy coming up. And there is our LIB!
Okay, going by yesterdays discussion of the NBG eagels, I would say that is the male sitting on the nest. Am I right?
I've been to shower and back and, do my eyes deceive me?? Lib still on the nest. Awesome!
Chittering in the den. Ahhhh
Happy Birthday to Sandra - One of our First Eaglet Momsters!! Hope your day is special and that the year ahead is good to you
Time to get ready for church! Hold down the fort while I am gone!
BBL
having trouble singing in...
HAD trouble signing in...now I'm in here.....don't EVER want to leave!
Good Morning from over here, Geula!
I am heading out very soon...
I feel assured that things at the nest
are well taken care of.......
BBL
Lib up
Good morning, Geula, glad you could join us!
THERE IT IS! I see the egg! YAY!!
Looks like Lib is givig the egg some air.
Yay! So happy to see an egg, and such a great nest cup, too! I wonder how many eggs we'll have this year....I say 3!
I know the Superbowl is today, though not something I'm personally interested in...regardless, I hope everyone has a great day, football or no!
I see it! Got a picture, too!!
Looks very secure down in the cup.
And I forgot to say Hi to Bill....welcome back...and Fuzzle too.
I say 3 eggs as well!
Hi Geula. So nice to see you.
Three sounds great. I would really enjoy seeing multiple eaglets this season. Three little ones would be fun.
Welcome, Geula, Bill, and Fuzzle. It is always nice to see all of you.
Good to be here with you Momsters and Dadsters...during the rest of the year I follow the Momsters group but come the laying season I come back here!
Should I tell that eagle to sit back down on the eggy?
Yes please, Geula. Gotta run. BBL
Do you think he would listen to you, Geula? I expect he has a mind of his own.
Remind me, dearies, what to press after I refresh,to get back to the bottoms without scrolling
I bet he is looking for Belle to give him a break. Probably thinks she will come sooner when he sees the egg is exposed.
Geula, press the "end" button...or use the "page down" button. You have to click on the blog page outside of the comment box for that to work.
No eaglet has EVER toppled out of the nest when I tell them to be careful when they get to the edge to poop shoot...I have POWERS! They LISTEN to me! LOL!
I don't know, Geula. I just grab the little thingy on the right and drag it up or down when I want to move around.
Lib up on the back of the nest, and then off to the right.
I see an eagle shadow above the nest on the left.
Aha, sounds of an eagle.
Sounds like HP in the tree....shaking, LOL
Well, this guy just took off. And then I saw a shadow cross the nest. And then wings as there was another flyover.
MT nest----shadow flew over. Hope it was Lib or Belle's shadow. And again. Protect that egg!1 It's only 37° here.....
Belle is back
I think someone landed above and shook the tree a bit.
I expect that is Belle.
Maybe it was hp that shook the tree!
Egg roll.
Egg roll. Flugging the flugg.
More egg business.
Wiggle, wiggle.
Bet some of our occassional visitors wonder about our crazy words!! Bill, Fuzzle-----flugg is our new word for fluff, thanks to a Momster typo!!
There was a changeover, an egg turn, a little house arranging and the cute little wiggle after sitting down on the egg...I love that wiggle!
Hi, Geula! GOod to see you. How's everything in Israel? Hope no unrest as in Egypt.
Thanks for asking that question and Paula for answering----I had forgotten, too!!
All is well here, no revolutions or overthrows or other types of mass domestic violence...just the usual mafia shootouts!
roflmbo You're welcome! And, I might add I like "flugging the flugg"!
I am ready to leave for church. Just took another peek in.
See ya! Oh, and hi and bye Guela!
Oh, and thank you Guela and Paula. Did not know about the pg dn or end. Learn something new every day!
Wow, what great New Thread pics!
Happy Sunday to Everyone!!
Should go to work for a couple hours---BBL
Hello everybody in eagle land!
Up for a shift, not much of a roll, though
Enjoy the eagle show, everyone! Getting ready to go to daughter's for Super Bowl - live in Patriots country, but a STEELER girl at heart - sorry NE bloggers, but I'm from Pittsburgh and proud of it - where is my 'terrible towel?"
I was going to root for the Pittsbay Sackers today, but changed my mind. I'll root for the Greenburgh Peelers instead!
Oh, Lynn, that is TOO funny - guess your team will win!!
LOL, Lynn.
I am going to root for the Steelers...

A GOOD SUNDAY

Lots of fish at Jordan lake today.. I think I heard the eldest chick is 3 wks old today
Belle did an egg roll a couple of minutes ago
I finally got out of the PJ's I'd had on since yesterday, and took Nugz in the car with me for a quick ride to the store. Had my breakfast, now I have to go shower and get some food ready for the game...
BBL
Lib just arrived with fluff
Belle off to the right
God Bless You Paula...
Hope your day is a great one with family and friends.
Hello Eagle Pals...
I did not notice two pictures on the new thread for today, but I do now !! there is a picture of the nest with a lone egg, no eagles....
maybe I missed that earlier...
Lib incubating
Hi everybody. What a beautiful sunny day at the nest.
Good to see Lib all settled in and comfy. He has to bring in more flugg to fill in the space around him in the bowl.
Morning ALL so that way I won't miss anyone.
So Belle is out to lunch at the diner huh?
Lib is on our egg.
Paula have a great fun time.
I just want to stay away for the whole game...maybe I'll set some alarm clocks around me for different times in case I fall asleep lol
Fluff = flugg
Shirley when is Hunter's assignment due?
Steve did a nice job putting those pictures on...thanks Steve.
Nice to see Bill from Elkins, FuzzleMa
and I KNEW GEULA WOULD SHOW UP she has to keep them babies in the nest. (:
Well Sandra it almost got laid on your birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A VERY VERY SPECIAL LADY...SANDRA (:
Paula, jammie days can be comforting. What are you taking for the party? Can Nugz go, too?
Margy, there WAS only ONE pic there when we first came to new thread! Steve snuck one in.
Yay!! Very exciting. I'll be watching. ;-)
Yeah Lynn...he does that sometimes....
I had signed off so when signing on again is when I noticed it !
Okay, headed out to the grandson's...
Best wishes to everyone, for a great, Eagle-Watching and whatever else is on your dance cards today day!
xoxo
Enjoy your time with James Margy (:
Dana, Hunter said the assignment is due Feb. 14.
Margy, are you off tonight? Hope so!
Hi, Diane and Dana!
Diane. I just love your avatar. What a beautiful picture.
Well thank goodness he has time Shirley.
Don't know if you all remember Danielle that help with Sandara. At the hospital with therapy.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIELLE
TCU band and show girls perform today in the pre game show in the Super Bowl. I am cheering for them. They perform at 4:52 CST.
Up and turn, little roll, little wiggle, little rearranging of fluff
Yes,
He has books and has done some work. Kathryn likes to get on these assignments on the weekends. Hunter is not so conscientious. He is a normal kid.
Kathryn is just getting payback!! I had to deal with her homework and projects a few years ago.
That was supposed to be "Yes, Dana."
If you can't read the recipe, I can email it.
Dana, Danelle's birthday is on March 6th.
Fluff fluff, wiggle wiggle
Looks really yummy and can read the recipe. You have to click on it to enlarge it. In the picture....you have not baked it yet. Right?
Things have been going fairly well with Mai today.
Understand, Paula. How is Nugz acting?
I will pass on your recipe! Don't like that green stuff!!!
But it does LOOK pretty!!!
Oh, that green stuff is good, Lynn!
Glad Mai has been good today.
Good, Lynn. I happy for you and Mai.
Kathryn rescued the chinchillas and took them directly to a rescue person who can take care of them. She did not even bring them here, which is a very good thing.
They were living in horrible conditions. The woman she took them to threw away the cage and all of the equipment. We would have not had anything to put them in if we had done that.

Egg showing!!
Thanks Paula by the way receipe just the name of it sounds yummy..
Moving branches after fly in.
Well maybe Danielle needed a pick me upper for the day lol
Both in the nest.
Looks like they are having a discussion.
Are red bell peppers hot?
Looks yummy you are making me hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, forgot to add, I don't add the bell peppers. And yes, that is uncooked.
Lynn, Nugz seems pretty good today. The ride helped, and played some ball.
Glad Nuzg is doing well...I think you have made the right decision. You need not all the questions from the little ones. You still need some time. (((((HUGS))))) Go and enjoy !! ( :
Heading out to John and Ajay's.
Wishing everyone a wonderful afternoon and evening...
Bye, Paula. Enjoy your family.
May be laying another egg at NBG!
Hi Eagle fans!
Looks like Lib on the nest.
Who to rout (route? root?) for tonight.
I like the Packers, my nephew has a thing for the Steelers. Decisions are tough at times.
I will root for both. : )
I've returned... Beautiful day out there. Snow from the fields is melting down into the roads. Hope it doesn't freeze up tonight!
I need to place my feet up
BBILW
NBG may have egg #2!!!!
NBG is still working according to the chat monitor. All on the chat think we will see one soon.
She is still standing at nbg
It looks like the NBg eagle is still working on it.
4:02pm Congowingo thinks 2nd egg is here at NBG
If an eagle can have a grimace, SHE DOES!
Her mate is right next to her.
She needs to squirm and move like Belle. LOL
Well, maybe her recovery takes a while. ☺
Are you sure MemaJo? Congowings is still waiting according to chat.
She is closing her eyes for this one. Must be a female coming through. lol
Both NBG eagles in the nest.......
I think she just released and looks more calm now. She must be adjusting.
BEagle I said he 'thinks'
Can't be certain until it is seen.
Keep watching........
She's been looking down.
Getting ready to move I think
NOW. She is wiggling!!!
My apologies MemaJo.
She is looking in the egg cup! I think we have 2 now at NBG!
Can anyone see any egg(s)
She is not moving. She shifted a short while ago but is not moving. She is having a difficult time I think.
Once an egg is laid the eagle usually stands for a while to let the egg
firm up.......
I think there is already 2 little
Rebel eggs........
The male keeps checking too!
She has certainly made it look hard. Find myself holding my breath and wanting to push. LOL
I saw two!!!!!!!!
Dad just left. There saw it again. Two fantastic eagle eggs at NBG!
I think it's a keeper! I haven't seen the egg yet but the male just flew off.
OH! You saw two Lolly? Super!!
Whew.
Congratulations NBG!
((hug)) MemaJo.
I hope the male flew off to get some sushi for her. That seemed like a long drawn out affair.
The moderators also saw two eggs
Good Eye Lolly!
Whew! is so right BEagle!
One of the moderators said she did the same last year. Took a long time on the second.
Could be tomorrow or the next day we will need to go through the same thing again with Belle.........
My feet are going up - Never did make it last time I said it....
Well, I hope Belle will be a little more cooperative for the second egg...lay that egg, Belle, in the bright day light. Would you please?
I was really feeling for the NBG eagle. She really made it look hard. Bless her!
Looks like Belle on there now.
Aww. NBG mom is dozing. Pooped.
finally....got my pic!!!!!!
Wow, she just showed us a good view of two eggs.
POSTED IT ON MY BLOG!
Checked out you great picture Lynn thank you ( : ( :
