Jack has gone out to put out corn for the squirrels. One has mastered the art of getting down to the bird feeder. We have been having fun watching his antics. However, everytime he got on, I slammed the door and he splatted into the snow. LOL Think he has given up and moved on, for now anyway.

Thnx Paula - Nobody home in the nest right now to check to see if beak movement and sound now together, but I refreshed so we'll see at a later time if that did the trick. I wondered if the new cam meant some kind of delay for us further away.

Just got a weather alert for freezing rain tonight/tomorrow morning. ARGH! Temp has dropped already from 45 to 39....and clouds are rolling in.

Lynn, ice never covered the upper poud...maybe 1/4 of it. Water flows into and out of the upper pond. The lower pond still has ice.
Not worried about the snow on the greenhouse. There was not enough to bother with...just kidding around with Megan. It is up to 32, wahoo, we have sunshine and blue sky. Just talked with Laurel in the far frozen north (one hour north) and they are up over 6 inches and it was still snowing.
Lolly, saw your photos. How lovely everything looks. Thank goodness you finished raking the yard1 LOL. Saw Jack has a winter coat and was wondering, that was not your also winter coat that was donated?

Jack gave away my long London Fog coat. I wore it as a dress coat. Oh, I have plenty of casual short coats. I will not freeze....just not look the best when I dress up. LOL

Well been a lurker again throughout the day. Left for awhile and came back. Did find an "adult dog food canned" high in protein. THANK GOODNESS!! Add it in slowly. I think that will help him.
Paula I am so so sorry Boo had a seizure again. What is up with the results of the blood test? How long did they say it would take???
All those Golden Eagles and none nest in West Virginia. Hummmm???? Maybe they just haven't found the nest. Since they just realized all this information they just came across?????

There is still a lady that has been in Egypt for 10 yrs. They are trying to get her out. The fighting is right in her area. TV station went to try and they couldn't reach her because of the fighting right in her area. She said, "My window is busted now. If they try to get in. I'm going to beat them over the head with a rolling-pin". Prayers they find a way to get her out. I believe she is not healthy enough to walk far.

There is certainly a lot lost in this squirrel eating adventure when viewing it on the still cam. Oh it won't be long now and I'll be out of here. Yeahh. Off for the wkend.

Dana. I went hi protein w my cat and it's made a big differnce in the amt she eats and not as much shedding, thank goodness.
I have not seen on tv about the lady in Egypt, but it was in our paper this morning. She is from Fort Worth. Her son is trying to get her home. She says she will leave, but she wants to go back to Egypt when it is safe.
Okay, think I have been successful. I have loaded onto my Hawkwood Garden's blog a video. The first video with my new video camera. Have spent the afternoon trying to figure it out with Jack's help. This video is of Zach! Beware, now that I know what to do. LOL

Good Evening eagle peeps!Nest is MT now. Saw a neat one at National Harbor! We had a small field trip for late lunch and got some pics there. Put on Blog.
As you probably know, the Harbor is near the MD side of Wilson Bridge, close to the trees where George and Martha Eagles had nested. No nests there now, but heard George nested further down the River last year.
Guess we maybe should pray for an egg! They should be ready. Glad they've waited for hopefully after the storms.
