Ya, I work so early in the morning it's when I check most, but I wasn't about to miss this so I've had it on all day. Maybe a few more eggs, then a new eagle family... siblings for Hidey and Palmer. Maybe we'll have more than one eaglet this year! I'm hoping for two. :>
Hopefully this egg put a smile on Paula's face. Maybe Boo will be back as an eagle in a month!

Should we have an eaglet name Boo? You do so much work for the eagles and the websites, and the egg was laid the same day Boo passed or close enough. It's perfect.

If you named the eaglets by characteristics and the such,"Finally" may not work. Or "its about time!" may not be a good name either.

Well, I am not sure that we have ever named an eaglet before it hatched. Last year we did, but last year was special, an exception.
We have plenty of time to settle on a name.

I was on Flight Tracker looking at the route of travel for gd/gsil going to
Puerto Rico. They departed from
Newark Liberty NJ at 8:30pm and will arrive at 1:12am. They are presently over the Atlantic Ocean out by VA Beach. It's great traveling in the same time zone!

my screen up on the Live Feed and could see that white head and as I started walking toward monitor to get a closer look - hubby hit the answering machine and Sharon is hollering - We got our fist egg!

It's been a very eventful day!
Lynn, was wondering how you found out the horses in Ohio have been rescued.

It looks like I missed all the excitement:( I was at home, but had visitors. Karla, Donny and Jayden came to help with putting in the new equipment on my 'puter. After many hours of plugging in and unplugging, they decided the new modem that comcast gave us is broken! Then, they had to hook me back up to Frontier so that I can use this thing until Monday, when Gene can speak with Comcast.
Then, we had supper and chatted til Jayden couldn't take it anymore. He wanted his bed and I don't have a crib anymore:(
Then I had my bath and watched Mama Mia (entertaining).
So here I am now, just learning of a precious egg!!

Good morning everyone. Got my pop up popped. Has Lib come with food yet. Haven't read back too far. just back from coffee and dog treats. Fed birds brushed away some fresh falling snow and sat down for a bowl of cereal.
