Good morning everyone- Wow,can't believe how clean the lens is at BW, finally!1 in nest right now. Wish I would have gotten some of that rain.Added some more butterfly/caterpillar pics to my album,so many in my gardens right now!Got to go out for a while-some back to school shopping :(, really hate that the kids go back before Labor day.Must go wake sleeping child..later.

They seem to be little compared to our "kids!" Is it so or just me??
THey don't appear to have been fed like Belle and Liberty fed our kids!

The oldest critter inour family passed during the night. Got off the phone a little bit ago with my son who has been up all night.
Her name was Lady Bug, a long time devoted companion for him. he was up all night and is at work today. Just as easy to go to work exhausted as it is to be home without her there today is my guess. I am very sad right now. BBL
Not trying to make anyone else feel sad, just wanted you to know why I do not stop by much today.
Vicky, I think they look smaller because of the camera view, and they were just eating, too.
Sorry to hear that, Glo. It is difficult when we lose any kind of loved one....my sympathies.

OOOPs sorry, Thanks everyone. I only cry when I think about it, which is kind of off and on every minute right now. I just wish I could be there to hug my son!!! Anyway Her name was Lady Bug..she was a mixed breed dog he took home with him when he got through boot camp at Fort Knox back in the early 9O's. She was a full grown but young dog then. We don't really know how old she was but you can add 16 years to whatever that was when he found her.

I had my cat Tinker put down last July 5th she was 16 years old, her ashes are here on my fireplace mantle along with pictures of her as a kitten n growing up.. I know I'd rather be the one bearing the burdens than have my kids feeling the sadness any day.... but they have to experience the bittersweet stuff too. According to the statistics, my Bobo should have died a LONG time ago, he has to be 20 years old if not more! Wonder what's keeping him alive? (besides lots of love!)
Ok all ready to go and DSL was up here i am again.. Sweet tea Jo in case you stop in again.. Well like Jo said its a beautiful ride about 25 minutes for me more or less thru so much civil war history and little towns.. Taking binoculars along also.. KEEP YOUR FINGERS N TOES CROSSED GIRL'S!!! Mits i was so worried about grandson coming there in all that storm but he down there safe.. So if ya see ail Honda CRX blue with detailed flames its my Nathan...lol PS dont be out with leg stickin out for aride its only got 2 seats and he has a friend with him ..lol Off i go to spend time with our mema Jo and pray our kids in the sky!!!

Nest report - not chest - LOL funny Vicky!! I'll take any report as long as it has something somehow to do with seeing our eaglets or Liberty and Belle soaring around... I still want to know how to put out a 'vacant - eaglets wanted' sign on my huge pine trees in the back... I'm not TOO far from the river - not as close as NCTC, but not TOO far...

So So sorry we just had a passing for my daughter in Florida of her baby Purebred BullMastiff (he had cancer) came on fast and 3 days later gone. She has his ashes and picture album on her nightstand. 13 days later our cat Taibitha (which really was daughter but too old to go to Florida) had kidney failure had to put her to sleep. All in April and May of this year. Daughter couldn't stand being in house without her beloved dog. They rent so they moved. He went everywhere with her; yes even as Big as he was. Car rides, horse stables, some shopping places allowed him in (very gentle).
So believe me I can feel the lost and I'll pray for family and son.
She will be waiting to run to him whenever it is his time no matter how long she'll be waiting.
Hmmmm Jo hasnt made her report yet???? Shall i keep you in suspense alil more?lol

Yes she is right we just talked about the 1st time we went over there and the poop shoot n just all the memories, but alas No Eagles to view, the nest we looked at and seems the left side is in need of repairs so Libery & Belle will have something to keep them busy besides making babies..lol Jo and i shared a wonderful lunch and dessert n coffee we just yacked n yacked..

Well have been spending some time at the Rainbow Bridge site. I am hoping my son will let me make a Memorial Page there in Memory of Lady Bug for him. I'll have him write the Tribute and take it from there. Some of the proceeds go to a local animal shelter, not sure how the shelter gets picked but anyway. Thanks again for your kind words all.

Yeah didnt see our family of Eagles but in our minds we saw them didnt we Jo.. Just think of what they are seeing now in this great land of ours the USA.. Mountian tops,, valleys beow, rivers streams, playing amonst the clouds.. awsome.. Oh when we both were riding on the road to NCTC there were afew dead animals am i am thinking Oh food for them.. Jo is thinking in her car I Hope they dont eat that..lol we talked about it later.. We ordered coffee ok i put my creamer in and picked up spoon and went to get few peices of ice out of tea glass.. Jo was doin samething!!!!

Well on a hot day like today if Floralgirl takes the wax outside it won't be cold. She'll have hot wax and alot of neighbors looking. Even if she lives out and thinks she has no neighbors close by when she is putting on that wax they'll come out of the woodwork.

Ok here goes girls.. Beleive me or not.. I walked out my back door and my neighbor was putting carpet in his garage he installs it we say hello... I am walking across parking lot look up and 3 eagles yes i said eagles in the sky !!! Yesssss i got so excited i gasp n he thought i ws sick.. any ways i opened car and threw pocket book on seat and steadied myself on car roof n watched.. OMG IT WAS THEMMM YESSSSSS they circled and circled together then i thought no its vultures.. But IT WAS THEMMMMMM I swear my heart skpipped a beat and i got so xcited!!!!!!! then they soared around and split up alittle... Please beleive me.. Now here i am at work and my son fiancee brought me anew grand baby a tiny ChiwhaaaWaaa ..lol so cuteeee.. Oh i am still xcited!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chi Chis - you can have em - they're a bit too nervous and 'one person' poochies from my experience - don't get me wrong they're adorable, and a great grandkid if they don't bite your finger off... giggles. I just prefer the more cuddly love everyone kinda poochies
When did they change the view on the Frodo cam? Now we're lookin OVER the ledge - for those with a fear of heights - look cautiously - no nest or birds to be seen

I just emailed the falcon expert and asked about the camera view changing to the ledge when it will take 33 days or so before the eggs hatch. Just asked it we were going to be able to see Frieda nesting again.

It's possible that there could be 4 - they said every 48 hrs.. Funny that Sharon spotted the 3 of them & emailed them a pic before any statement came out. Our time ahead of them helped us be first to spot them.
My lunch was very filling - But I am off to eat a bowl of cereal for dinner (don't laugh at me - bet you have done the same thing before) Then I can have angel food cake and vanilla icecream around 9pm. I love being able to eat what I want & when I want!

Well,I'm back inside-I was outside looking at the moon(not howling) added a pic of it to my album.Jo-added a pic just for you-a sphinx moth-go check it out.This moth is also called a hummingbird moth,comes out at dusk-took me 15 minutes of running behind the darn thing to finally get a decent pic(told you crazy things happen when moon is full)hope no one saw me.They are fast,get nectar from flowers like a hummer.The hummers and I are on a first name basis-that feeder is right outside my front door-we see each other all day long.She was sitting there trying to keep all others off the feeder.A battle soon began.
Watch when you go walking through the sites in here tonight there are no street lights.....oh is it Halloween yet?
