My son's dog Lady (bug) now has a residency at Rainbow Bridge If you have a minute to stop by to meet Lady and sign the guest book and or send off an ecard from the site, I know it would mean a lot to him, and to me, since this is really the only thing I can do to help him through this time of loss.
He wrote his Tribute out for her on Sat. night and I have opened the Residency as of yesterday.
Tonight Tom, myslef and his sister (Elia's Mom) will meet with the others in a room for their Candle light Ceremony.
They do a nice job of helping people who have loved a pet as a member of the family deal with the loss. They donate a part of their proceeds to a local Shelter. Have met some very nice but also pretty sad people in there over the past week.
Thanks for the new thread Steve! How is it going with you? As you can see, we are keeping ourselves busy around here!
The little bird-flipping girl, once she knew she was busted, started crying and apologizing all the way to the band director. She really didn't want me to tell him but I did anyway. I told her now was a good time to learn how to act and not react. Don't always have to do the first thing that pops in your head. If I did that, I would probably be spending life in prison! :)
Hi! I guess I need to pop in here daily to say hi, otherwise you eaglet-moms worry about me!...
First we worry about 3 eggs hatching, then we worry about 2 big eaglets and one little one, then we worry if the little one is getting enough food, then we worry about fledging...will they make it through the first fly-about, then we worry about.....Oh, have I mentioned that we worried about the WEATHER? Too COLD, too HOT, too WINDY, too RAINY, too DRY! PHEW, that's a lot of worrying! I guess ya don't have to be a JEWISH mother to worry...you can be an eagle-momster and do perfectly well at the worry game!
And what do we have to look forward to in the next few months to come? Will the "babies" make it through the winter? Will Liberty and Belle be back at their nest? Will we have audio next time around? and...
Hey, I really love this blog and the eaglet_momsters group...I feel like we're family...and I don't worry AT ALL that there may be a serial murderer lurking among us...no serial killer would have TIME to plan a murder with all the time spent in sites, blogs and groups! LOLOL!
okay, I MUST move on! Tomorrow 2 of my grandkids are coming to stay for who knows how long and the house needs a bit of cleaning.
Good Morning , I am at work but waiting on someone to come in and work for me.. Going to doctors or ER feeling really bad this morning....Took B/P 167/118 Pulse 99 right arm..... Left arm 172/111 pulse 87 Promise to leave ya know whats going on soon as i can.. Hugs, Nilla
.Nilla I am so glad you are going to go see someone. We will all be waiting to hear from you as to what you have found out and what they plan to be doing about it to help you get to feeling better ASAP.
Geula So glad to hear from you. yes a daily check in--if them grandkids will let you , would be nice...we really do worry when we don't here. We are rapidly wrinkling and turning gray here in Momsterland. Be safe
Geula You covered it all! It is a very good idea if you can come see us daily - Enjoy the grandkids - One of mine just called only to say Hi & Miss You. That's what grandkids are for -- You hear me Mits?
Now as for my friend NILLA I just pray for her to get to that Dr or ER safely & that they fix her right up! There is always something to worry about when you have Eagle Friends.
Suzanne So happy you had a very enjoyable weekend. You make me want to get up to the zoo to see the cubs. FloralGirl suggested that when migration starts this fall we should have a gathering of locals up at Wash.Monument Park. Let's plan on it. Sharon You did good with that young girl - You made your mark & I bet in later life she will remember what you taught her..for her own good!
Suzanne I am glad you called. You should get it mid to late this week then. There have only been problems a couple of other times that I know of, and each time they have made it more than right by the customer. They do seem to be very nice to deal with. Let me know whenit arrives!!!
GLO Some people cannot understand the loss of a pet, unless you have walked that road yourself. Its never easy and to have Lady that long is especially hard. You need just as much support as when a human passes on, IMHO!
Don't know if she has anyone to drive her. Wish she had just called an ambo. It will take time at ER, but, I think it might be a waste of time if she goes to Doctors, and he sends her to ER.
You mean the insurance would rather you die, than get you to hospital. Well of course they would, because then they don't have to pay anything and I guess I just answered my own question. My daughter-in-law is renting the hospital-grade breast pump and she says insurance will cover it, but that they will not claim it, because Maggie or they might need something more important down the road. GEEEEEZZZZZ!!!!!
Mits is definitely havin fun - getting to snuggle her own lil eaglet!
Glo I will head over to see LadyBug's tribute in a bit - I know I will cry, so better get some work done first, a cry always makes me want to rest or nap...
Geula Hope all is well, I never turn on the news, so rely on you all to report. Grandkids coming to stay for unknown length of time - sounds like a lot of fun, but could be stressful too. I hope the reason for the visit is more joy than sorrow.
YOU UK GALS What'da think this is, a hotel?? You can't come and visit for a few days then just leave us high and dry - we MISS you... get us loving your commentary and wanting more, then poof - ya don't show up.... Seriously, I hope all is well with both of you and your friends/families as well.
Belle I knw it is sad, if you have compassion for those who really love their pets. OK time it just before a well needed rest. ((hugs))
maybe its time for a concerned Momster to show up at the ER. Well maybe not...I do hope Nilla's daughter will make some contact if they admit nilla or something so we don't have to worry/wonder too much longer about what is going on for her. SIGH I am glad she finally went to see someone. She is one to do it "her" way...which is only fair for each of us.
Belle I can't be sure. I know she said she wouldn't go to Martinsburg Hosp - BUT I have a feeling that is where she would have been taken. The daughter's DR is in Winchester. Suggeston: Call Martinsburg Hosp & see if you can find out if she was admitted.. ok?
Glo, went to Rainbow Bridge and that was such a beautiful tribute to her memory. My 4 babies drive me nuts sometimes but I love them each dearly. I know I am going to be faced with this once again one day and don't look forward to it at all.
Just had a tap on my side door and the UPS was already leaving as I opened it. We have just received our Liberty & Belle statue. I am very well please with it - Wolf Creek Gallery did us proud. I was concerned with the weight - but it weighs about a lb and a half. It is so beautiful. Now I will go out to find a wooden base to set it on and get it inscribed for our group to present to NCTC at open house.
I don't think we have heard from Vicky IL since Saturday am hr. I hope she comes back on here with a good excuse - Hopefully we will hear from her & she has been out somewhere having fun - or taking care of her grandkids. Hope all is well... This could be another 'worry' case my friends.
So I com ein here to see what has happened and discover the post I made over an hour ago hasn't been posted because one of my tags was broken...man that stinks when that happens. it's irrelevant now so I have cleared that one, and am checking to see if there is any news at all from Nilla
Thanks Sharon for visiting the site for Lady Bug..each one who comes alongside makes the journey a little less overwhelming and alone feeling. My son is the other real eagle lover in the family which partly why I chose the music that I did for that site!!!
here's hoping for some good news from Nilla very soon.
Hi Sharon..well maybe LOL...Not near as busy as it has been lately. I was checking to see if Nilla has reported in. Back to work tomorrow for you I guess. I do hope you have totally enjoyed your time off.
I just finished awhile ago catching up on all the post. Geula glad you checked in, hoping this cease fire last. Keep checking in from time to time. Nilla I sure hope you are at one of the hospitals. Got you in my prayers gal. Trying to figure out what time Nilla would have gone..humm Hi Sharon..that girl needed to be taught a lesson about life..you may be just the impact she needed.
W.Va Vicki Thank You for going to Lady (bug's) site today also. I am glad that those of you who do go, are letting him know you are from the eagle site, he knows all about you !!! the good and the bad just kidding.
Glo I am so so excited thank you thank you for making the "mouse pad" and the "round oranament". They both came and my husband teased me since the package was flat. He said, "Here's your collaspeable eagle cup" lol. I love I love them both the mouse pad is exceptionally awesome !!! Happy Happy me oh yea....can't you tell I excited to get them. By the way (((((hugs for you and your loose)))).
My siesta lasted longer then expected I think I overdid my running around this morning. I see that there isn't any word on our friend Nilla. I also don't know where Belle went.. I haven't had any emails.
Mits had gone to see Maggie - I am sure she hasn't left her out of her arms since the minute she arrived. What a granny! Glo and Sharon, I took the pic at the entrance to NCTC mainly so that you could have a picture in your mind as to where we go in order to get to the tree. I guess I will hang out and call upon my 'patience of an eagle waiting to be fed' to wait for some word on Nilla. Glad you mentioned you had heard from Vicky-Il, GLO.
Belle yes I will tell him. Thank you too for stopping by for Lady Bug.
The ceremony is in 3 hours now. i will be gone probably the rest of the evening then, just participate and then support those on the site with us. I did talk with tom a little while ago, and he said Yes Now it doesn't seem like everyone thinks "She was just a dog Not to us/HIM ...All of those who have acknowledged his loss make it just a littel bit easier to deal with. How do you deal with a loss if you can't find anyone who thinks you have lost anything REAL There are no words to express what it means to those who need that support.
OK back to Nilla Guess we are still on hold for that one. I surely hope someones phone rings soon with some kind of info!!! Jo I saw those pictures on the Momster photo album. Thank you . it does make it nice to get a better idea of how it all looks.
Hi Belle. I was wondering where you had gone. The cell phone is probably turned off - You want to email me the phone number from the video store from the phone book? Someone had to go into work for her & may know something.
Doing some detective work.. got a number for her daughter, I think... she's still at the hospital... last she'd heard still in the ER waiting for them to decide what was next. They're going to call me back when they hear something...
Thank you so much, Belle I feel she has been seen by the Drs. At least we know she is being taken care of in there. I know you'll let us know as soon as you get some information. Is it Martinsburg?
Yes, City is what they said. I hope Nilla is being cooperative and telling the Dr.s how she's REALLY been, not being brave and trying to fool her way out of there sooner than she should be.
GLO That was a beautiful site and I am so anxious to make my family members aware of it for their fur friends. The tribute was beautiful.
Good News Christine & Samantha (NY Gals) got a phone call today from Patrick. He is back at Camp Blessing with his company. The incident happened during the time they were headed back to camp. Christine said he is ok (not tired or hungry) but having lost his buddies his morale as well as the whole company is low. She hopes Sam cheered up her Dad as she talked very long with him. I know Christine felt a lot better hearing his voice.
Patrick will come home for about 2 weeks in November for R&R. When he goes back, it will at least be March 2007 before his company comes home. Christine earlier had planned for the family to go up to the other grandparent's mountain house for some private time. Patrick, since he has been in Afghanistan, said he didn't want to see another mountain for a very long time.
Jo I'm glad Patrick was able to call. I'm sure talking to his girls helped his morale a bit, too. R&R seems like a cruel thing almost, send him home, then jerk him back over there. How hard it will be to leave a second time! My heart and prayers go out to him and all the other families....
Jo My Daughters brother-in-law did 3 tours over there. He was so sick of the heat. He decided to go get his schooling to be an Officer. They ask him where did he want to do it. He said,"Maine where it is cold". He finished an past he is an Officer now. He is taking some special training again. Which means he is probably going back there because of his "specialties". He has been is service since age 19 and this year turned 30.
MEMA JO----Just checked in---busy day----MITS is probably in her glory---holding that "wee" bundle of joy----Isn't that great---Remember how good that feels to hold your grandchild---I just read the good news about Patrick---Oh, that has to be a great feeling knowing he is safe-----Have you heard any thing from NILLA----If she went to the ER---that usually takes a long time---isn't she a nurse?----I hope we hear soon---w/say a prayer----
Vicky wvagal I think that Patrick was going to reup but now I'm not certain. He has changed him mind a couple of times. My other grandson I think will be like your daughter's brother-in-law. He is just a very disciplined Army guy. Belle I also don't know how these married guys have R&R and then say goodbye for the second time. I just remember the jubilant feelings when they complete their tour and arrive home. Most wonderful happy high feeling - it's like the birth of a newborn. Tears abounding!
Norma Belle is being our sleuth on tracking down the location & well being of Nilla. She did go to ER & we're thinking they will admit her (I hope they do some tests). Belle is keeping us posted. City Hosp Martinsburg.
Nilla's remark was made around 10:35am from work waiting on someone to come in and take over. Her BP was going crazy. Belle is in contact with her daughter, Dawn. Dawn promised to call Belle with info. It's just a waiting worrying game!
Mema Jo, so glad your Patrick is okay. Camp Blessing is just that!! The Marines and the Navy have called for Andrew a couple of times and I have told them they can't have my boy. He has an enlarged spleen so I pray they wouldn't never make him go. I am sorry, but I am a very selfish mother and don't want my baby in the middle of the mess.
My niece read the tribute page tonight while I was gone and left a message on the guestbook. It says:
I would say they gave Nilla clonidine as soon as she got to the hospital to bring that BP down. NO, I am not a doctor, but I do play one on TV! TEEHEE!
Very nice neice Sharon... is this the one that steals the newspaper? I guess if it is, she just gained a point or two back :)
Sharon, I love that you took that girl to the band director. I think I would've dragged her over saying something like 'I think we've worked this girl too hard, she must have injured her hand playing her instrument(twirling whatever) because her middle finger seems to have a mind of its own? LOL I hope the band director gave her a what'fer!
I just pray they're taking good care of our NillaBean... don't want to call her daughter back, as she said she'd call me when she heard anything. I'm sure she has enough to worry about. Jo you wanna call? Giggles - I'm a chicken...
Belle, the band director is going to write her up on the first day of school (what a way to start a new school year), then her mother was told. Not sure what else will follow but I hope she never forgets it! I can overlook a lot of things but this one I just couldn't.
I hope she learns the lesson you tried to share with her to not be so impulsive. Kids just don't have any respect for others, and that shows they deep down don't have any self-respect either. Maybe your not overlooking it can be the difference between her winding up having a so-so life and having a good life... every little pebble has a lifetime of ripples :) Good on ya for sure
Mema you have mail - not sure what to do about Nilla... if I don't hear something tonight, I might stop by in the morning after I drop my daughter off at band camp to see if she's got a room and a cute male nurse corraled.
So I did call the hospital patient info line, the ER line and then Dawn, Nilla's daughter. First 2 calls - no go Privacy. Dawn said her mom was still over in the ER area, certain test were done, but she wasn't certain if they were keeping her or sending her home. Ken, Nilla' friend, is with her. Dawn said she would call tomorrow to Belle with info. My advice: Pray that the Drs with their wisdom gets our Nilla on the road to good health.
Sounds like a plan Jo. I will blog as soon as I hear anything. I have to drop my daughter off at the school around 7:30. Will wake my son up enough to be able to answer the phone if it rings or at least listen to the msg and call my cell. Wonder what time visiting hours are at the hospital if she is admitted, I can stop in and say howdy
Nighty night Glo you must be very tired from the evening. I'm sure it was very good for Tom to be able to participate. What a great idea with families and friends spread across the world, to be able to meet online and offer support like that
For any Eagle Buddy still awake 10:50 pm Phone just rang - It was 'you know who'. When I asked her where she was - She replied, Where do you think I am?! I said I guess you wish you were home but your in the hospital bed aren't you? Yess It was Nilla
Will publish this quickly in case any eagles are lurking.
Thanks for letting us know, Mema Jo. Tell her she can still blog by proxy. Just call one of us and we will put in whatever she wants us to! Well, maybe! Depends on what she is wanting to say!
And she called again after all the nurses went out of her room..... They did CT scan, EKG and lots of blood test. She said her arm is going to be bruised with so many blood pressure readings. Tomorrow she will have a stress test. She will keep in touch & I will pass all the info to you Eagle Buddies. I told her that everyone of us were worried & so glad she was able to touch base with us.
Are you really planning on the 26th of this month to stop by the Washington Monument Park around 1:30? Did you read the rest of your new camera's instructions & get to see your pictures? Have a great day!
I think the closest zoo to here is the Mill Mountain Zoo in Roanoke, VA. Probably been 35 years since I have been there though. I did go to the zoo in Norfolk a few years ago. My biggest memory from that one was a screaming 3-legged monkey.
Sounds like you have a dedicated super finch parent, Suzanne... making sure her babies are fed... what a great thing.
Visiting hours at the hospital aren't til 12:30 :( I guess the mornings are busy with eating, dressing, therapy and testing for the patients. How darn inconvenient that they put the patients first - I wanna go see NillaBean!
That's ok - just changing my day around a little bit. Hubby took daughter to band camp, so I'll get a few things (maybe) done here before I head into my classroom to get a few things (maybe) done there and then go visit :) I wonder what kind of snack I can take to her. I already know I am going to find her a mylar balloon with an eagle on it SOMEWHERE... she needs to have an eagle watching over her while there.
HI Suzanne, looks like rain happened north of me (along the potomac river between WV and Hagerstown, MD) judging from clouds in the sky.
Pulled up radar, gotta love computers and the internet!, rain to the north, but it has passed through, and looks like the bulk of it broke up before getting to 'our neck of the woods'. Hope you got a little of it at your home Suzanne, Floral Girl is disappointed again, though - she must be out watering and cursing... Those poor flowers, they do best with loving talk... these flowers will probably all turn blue with all the words they're learning (or blush pink?)
Did one of the cubs have problem with a foot/leg? I bet they are all so adorable! I can't wait to get some pictures. I've been looking around for my camera, but don't know where it has gotten to...
Can make out a panda eating, but can only see its back, so not sure which one... speaking of eating. I tried a new chinese restraunt for lunch yesterday - in Hagerstown - Tai Shan - I couldn't resist eating there. It was pretty good. I asked the waitress if the restraunt was named after the panda cub, but she didn't know or didn't understand my question.
Which cam you watching with eagles? I have the briloon one and don't see anything? Maybe need to refresh it? Everything else was empty. Tai and Mei are in the 'holding area' do they go there before they get to go outside? Thanks for the info on Tai's name - beautiful
My baby cardinals are eating this morning. Man, are they getting big quick. Haven't seen the elegant Bald Cardinal since I came back. Maybe she is not shiny bald anymore!
Morning Suzanne ,Sharon and Belle. You are right Belle, just came in from watering, those flowers have got a sailor's vocabulary now.Thank goodness they can't talk. Getting to a crucial stage in the garden, many places are really in a drought even though the weather people refuse to say so.Gonna put an early end to my market season if I don't get some rain soon. Glad to hear Nilla is in the hospital, was worried something would happen when she was home alone.Hopefully they will figure out what is wrong quickly.
Good Morning all...haven't read all of comments but did see where Nilla is in hospital. Sorry she is there but GLAD too hope and pray they find what's wrong and help her.
Lol I think it was Norma said I was going around dipping all the kittens in neighbor pink lol. Wish Floralgirl's plant will stay ok. Yes Nilla is where she needs to be. Now we have to pray Doctor/s will have knowledge to know what is wrong. So she gets help. (((hugs))) to her and all in here. Suzanne If you all set a date and time let me know I want to try and make it up to South Mountain. Don't know if I can do the trail though. I'll get to meet some of you. Ok? Morn'n Sharon & Belle too
Belle didn't you know in the Chinese Restraunts you have to "act out" what you are trying to say. In one I wanted to know if an item was chicken or frog legs. She couldn't understand so I put my hand out, turned palm up, and with other hand made a hopping figure lol. She got it right away. It's ture honest.
Good morning all. Man I thought it would be a quick read and off to treats. My coffee is getting cold and the treats are getting stale lOL...Just kidding. Nice to come in and see chatter again.
Belle Tell Nilla she is in all of our thoghts and prayers. Thanks so much for heading over to see her. That's great. An eagle eye view of NIlla!!!
I'll tell Nilla you're all thinking of her when I go in... Yepper Vicky tomorrow is my 'big day' ugh... not at the same place as Nilla is though, so we won't get to visit tomorrow
LOL on the acting stuff out... I was kinda because the one girl in there was hugely pregnant and I was asking when baby was due finally got out 'next month' I think is what she was saying
I can't imagine living and working in a place where I didn't understand my customer's language... scary
I have so many cam shortcuts on my desktop now LOL
that white thing looks like a dishtowel - maybe they're trying to make a blankie for the blue bear to keep him warm while they're off in sunnier places this winter?
Morning WVa Vicky- Suzanne-I too get tired of the work involved with plants, this time of year I usually start to get a litle 'burnt out'.I have been working pretty much 7 days aweek with them since March when I first started them from seed. When they are little ,you have to feed and water them every day, can't skip I day ,cause you're tired(which I often feel like doing).I start going to market weekend after Easter, so it has been a long season. It is almost time to start planting stuff in the ground for next Spring's blooms, with no rain it is impossible to till the ground right now. I will keep going to Shepherstown for a while still,Belle.I will end up dropping the Frederick market first,Shep is my best market by far,and much closer to home.
Belle not sure if a computer would be good for Nilla right now. Probably relaxing is best. I can see her now on the computer. Typing real fast telling us about the nursing staff and the "hunk" of a doctor but not her's. Wouldn't you know it she would get the old greezer. lol
Hang in there floral girl... it is hard work, but good work that you do, you bring beauty and brightness to people's lives with your work... not a lot of people can say that. {{{{{hugs}}}}}
LOL Pinky you are right... she'd be surfin the net and google earthing all over the place, not getting a moments rest... but heck ya gotta have fun or the time goes too slowly
Your right there Belle. My green thumb turned brown years ago. Floralgirl I've prayed for rain. It is going somewhere. Maybe I need to put more direction on it for you. Ok got it..God Floral girl needs rain nice long easy rain. On Sharpsburg Pike heading away from Battlefield towards town. Please drop it on her plants for her so she can get a rest. Thank you God that you will do this. Ok gal that's all I can do.
That's a great idea suzanne, I have no idea how, though... I wonder if I could print out the blogs somehow... did someone mention trying to figure out how to do that?
OK pinky That is gonna be so much easier to type and the kitten is so cute.
Well today I get to gp in to work again for a little. Some of the databse stuff I get to do at hoe, but since there are 3 different ones, there are 2 more I also have to go in at times to update. Guess today is one of those times, for a litle while anyway!!! Keep Bloggin
Thanks Pinky-watching the skies.don't get me wrong,I like what I do ,it's hard work, but I have no boss, don't have to leave home,am surrounded by birds, butterflies, and assorted other wildlife(deer and bunnies-BAD for plants)and so I could think of much worse jobs. The thing is,you can water all day long but it just isn't the same as a good ground soaking from mother nature and so I get very frustrated and discouraged cause I'm worn out from it all and I can't make it rain. A good soaking rain will change my whole outlook.
OK before I leave while I eat...I think I will try to do something in Word with a fun picture and who knows..It probably will look like a nite rather than a card but I can forward it around, you just add a little comment and your name however you want, we can surely try!!!.
Good morning again Glo, hope your updating the databases goes smoothly today and doesn't land you with another headache!
Floral, we'll keep prayin for rain for you... at least it is overcast today so the sun won't bake away what moisture you do wind up getting into the plants
If we had a blog page set up just for that, we could just print those entries. I tried selecting a couple entries and printing but it wanted to print the whole thing (this particular page would be 47 pages of print).
Glo I still have to get a shower and such, so I won't be leaving here for at least an hour. Then I will be at work, and I take my laptop in there, so I will be checking there. I'd say as long as it is 'ready' for me by 11:30 or so I can print it and take it with me. It will be in black and white though - my printer at school doesn't do color. If it is ready before I leave here, I can print it in color... I'm flexible, so whatever works best I will make work.
Yes, Belle-enjoyed the cloud cover yesterday and am loving it this morning, sure got humid again. Hummingbirds are crazy this morning,as usual, just walked out the door into the middle of a battle between 3 for possession of a feeder. Those feeders may have multiple perches, but my hummers will rarely share a feeder.
Sharon, I am printing yesterdays and today's blogs, I can do double sided print. I will put them in a binder to take for her to read through so she isn't too far behind. I think she will enjoy that, too. My biggest concern is finding an eagle mylar balloon. I just have to have one for her
How nice of you WESTVAGIRL-PINKY to have your kitty pink in honor of MAGGIE Tee-Hee!!! So much to read, so little time to do it. Really need to get thie house back into normal mode. Where exactly is Martinsburg, WVA, in relation to Frederick? I agree with SHARON I'm sure they have "our" NILLA on a restricted diet. Going to finish reading posts.
I guess to the hummers each feeder is like one plant with multiple flowers, and they don't like to share their 'plant' with another... territorial little sprites. I don't think they realize how tiny they are!
Good morning Mits! Glad to see you here - missed you yesterday, but I'm sure you were so busy soakin up maggie love that you didn't miss us much :) How's she doing? Don't want to pry, but we're concerned and keeping the prayers going for good test results and heck with tests - just that Maggie is happy being Maggie :)
Suzanne, the same thing with my finches. And sometimes there are so many goldfinches on one bag you can't even see it.When the bag starts to get low, only one will get on at a time, and several others will scream to get on all around him.My daughter asked us to move the feeder right outside her window cause the finches were so loud they were waking her up in the morning.
Wow Belle to find a eagle balloon. Hummm around Martinsburg too. I'm thinking.. Belt buckles, key rings, wallets, can't think of a place for an eagle balloon. Is Hedgesville the "Eagles"? If so get (steal) oh can't tell you to do that. Get something from the football or cheerleaders.
OK I have made something. Now lets see. I am sending it to Belle, and all of you. maybe then the easiest would be for you to email to Belle what you would like added as your message and she could type it on and print it out. I will send it in color fancy and then in Black and white so she will have both. I am sure she will be able to print out something. If you want added and didn't get a copy just email me, meanwhile email Belle with what you want added. Glo
Yesterday, I missed it altogether because of time demands; and this morning I couldn't get on the WWW. Tweaked the system, and now I can get on with AOL's browser but not Explorer???!!
I agree with you BELLE Tests Smesh LOL. We love MAGGIE just the way she is...just praying for good health. She has gained an oz. since she left the hospital. FLORAGAL Was sitting at my sons' house yesterday and was watching a Hummer, eating out of the bird feeder, is that normal?
Good morning. Just had a 'wake-up' call from the dentist. off ice with a cancellation & I will be gong in at 10:30. So I need to rush! Can't read blogs - but looks like things are cookin' around here!
Glo- here's my message for Nilla- Hope you feel better soon, Nilla, the blog just isn't the same without you.Make sure you are resting and listening to the Drs. orders.Oh yea, take it easy on all the handsome DRs.Floralgirl (Megan)Mits- I have never heard of a hummer near a regular birdfeeder.maybe he was just checking it out to see what it was.they are very territorial and nosy.
Pinky I will send whatever I have done in a bout 20 mins or so I guess to school, and yes then anyone else could send them there and add them. Would be really cute right now though if we can get it printed in color before she leaves.
Ok Well if I don't hear from these people I am going to write something like. Mits well she is with that prscious new grandbaby but of course adds her prayers, Jo, is getting herself "crownded at the Dentist, Jim is somewhere in America Online, and Sharon is actually working at her computer for a change LOL.
pinky I only have her school address right now so it will get printed in black and white there. I will send it now though to the school. Well in about 10 minutes
Still reading blogs, but relax all - I am on no particular time schedule either... I can get my mail at either my school address or work address here at home and vice versa... belle@breezelink.net will get mail to me any time anywhere :)
I am still compiling the card Sharon Where is your Sending it to Belle in 5 minutes, then if you want to add something I guess send it to Belle. Coming in color soon...Print it and hand write anything else maybe You will have mail very soon!!!
Glo did you get pinky's comment? She emailed me one directly, so if you're doing something special with them and you didn't get hers I can forward it to you? Giggles we sure do get industrious at times :) I'm still wrapped in my towel, so no rush... ewww now that was TMI and not a pretty pic for many I imagine get out some of Belle's Patented MENTAL FLOSS, thread it between your ears and pull back and forth vigorously until unwanted images have been scraped away :)
Hey guys STOP eagle watching and read this BLOG LOL...I hope you print this one off tomorrow this is a riot in itself if you go back and read this. Nilla we are working really hard for you. Well some of us are!!! LOL
Okay, Glo, got a little confused here. Just sent to Belle and then re-sent it to you. Check your email. I got excited about seeing the eaglet in the BW nest.
If Belle gets this CARD before she leaves home she can print it off in COLOR. If not then it will only be in black and white. That is why the hurry to get your comments to Glo's email address. Glo did you get Suzanne's?
I'll check a couple more times Sharon its not here yet, but if I don't get it then Belle can add it. it will be so cute in color so want to get it off to her.

GLO Please send me that site by e-mail, it never works for me when I try to put it on the Goggle search site at top of my page.
Thought about waiting to post this on the new blog but never know for sure if there will be one.
Well New thread happened 4 minutes after this long post I shall repeat it here, as I so want you to see this and respond
Anyway thanks for your visit and time, here is the link

OK .Mits You have email...Thanks so much!!!
Good morning. BBL as I need to go to previous thread and read what has been happening. See you in a few....
Morning all!
MT nests in Maine, Connecticut and Blackwater!
Going out for a little while. BBIALW!
Suzanne,
That is a really nice little zoo. Been then many a time when the kids were little. Glad you had a nice visit.
Have a grand day!
Geula!!
Be safe
NILLA, GET YOURSELF TO THE ER, NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nilla,
Glad you are going to see the DR. Please keep us posted. You are in our thoughts today.
Blue bear Ct. cam is up and running again.
I need to be gone - about 3 hrs. SYL
Suzanne I am glad you called. You should get it mid to late this week then. There have only been problems a couple of other times that I know of, and
each time they have made it more than right by the customer. They do seem to be very nice to deal with. Let me know whenit arrives!!!
Mits Thank you so very much for stopping by Lady (bug)'s site. I know if you understand that kind of loss, it is a hard thing to do even alongside another. Thanks for giving of yourself to my son this morning!!!
said through tears in a mom's eyes
We have not heard from NILLA since 10:35a.m. Anyone hear from her by e-mail or phone?
GLO Some people cannot understand the loss of a pet, unless you have walked that road yourself. Its never easy and to have Lady that long is especially hard. You need just as much support as when a human passes on, IMHO!
Don't know if she has anyone to drive her. Wish she had just called an ambo. It will take time at ER, but, I think it might be a waste of time if she goes to Doctors, and he sends her to ER.
Tai Shan is having lunch with Mei in the panda den. They are still on Panda-Cub watch down in Atlanta.
Back later, going to see MAGGIE
Home again. Long morning. Phew.
Nilla I hope you're getting some help at the ER or somewhere!
Jo, you out havin fun?
Just returned home - no emails from Nilla. She once said that her daughter knows how to reach us if need be. Worry, worry, worry.
Jo do you know which hospital she'd have headed for?
Suggeston: Call Martinsburg Hosp & see if you can find out if she was admitted.. ok?
Belle It's Janet Kolb
I hope she comes back on here with a good excuse - Hopefully we will hear from her & she has been out somewhere having fun - or taking care of her
grandkids.
There is an eaglet in the Maine nest!!! EAGLET ALERT, EAGLET ALERT!
Am I by myself?
Hi Sharon..well maybe LOL...Not near as busy as it has been lately. I was checking to see if Nilla has reported in. Back to work tomorrow for you I guess. I do hope you have totally enjoyed your time off.
Actually back to work now. Had to cover for somebody sick from 4-6:30 this evening.
I just finished awhile ago catching up on all the post.
Geula glad you checked in, hoping this cease fire last. Keep checking in from time to time.
Nilla I sure hope you are at one of the hospitals. Got you in my prayers gal.
Trying to figure out what time Nilla would have gone..humm
Hi Sharon..that girl needed to be taught a lesson about life..you may be just the impact she needed.
W.Va Vicki Thank You for going to Lady (bug's) site today also. I am glad that those of you who do go, are letting him know you are from the eagle site, he knows all about you !!! the good and the bad just kidding.
Anyway Tom is the one who graduated from Commode town High School a few years back LOL.. He even knows I am planning a trip in the spring with Vicki from commode town . speaking of which needs to be dropping in here soon too
I did hear from her yesterday, she had trouble getting on during the day..not sure what is going on for her today though.
Glo, I forgot to put on mine that I was from the eagle blog, could you let him know?
Glo I am so so excited thank you thank you for making the "mouse pad" and the "round oranament". They both came and my husband teased me since the package was flat. He said, "Here's your collaspeable eagle cup" lol.
I love I love them both the mouse pad is exceptionally awesome !!! Happy Happy me oh yea....can't you tell I excited to get them.
By the way (((((hugs for you and your loose)))).
Your very welcome Glo the least I could do for you and your son.
Sharon Yes I will let him know..Thanks again I love what you wrote, he will be touched by it too!!
Glo that site was beautiful... Tom wrote a beautiful tribute to her! I also forgot to put that I was an eagle buddy
No word from Nilla. Think she'd answer her cell phone if we called?
My siesta lasted longer then expected
I think I overdid my running around this morning.
I see that there isn't any word on our friend Nilla. I also don't know where Belle went.. I haven't had any emails.
Mits had gone to see Maggie - I am sure she hasn't left her out of her arms since the minute she arrived. What a granny!
Glo and Sharon, I took the pic at the entrance to NCTC mainly so that
you could have a picture in your mind as to where we go in order to get to the tree.
I guess I will hang out and call upon my 'patience of an eagle waiting to be fed' to wait for some word on Nilla.
Glad you mentioned you had heard from Vicky-Il, GLO.
.The mouse pad is one thing I have not changed and probably will not. It just captures three very special moments in time...that those of us who experienced it will cherish in our hearts forever. We all knew as they fledged that it was gonna be like this now, and we still cheered them on, because they were just starting to learn to do what they were Created to do...SOAR!!!
Well, just finished my 2 1/2 hours work, now I am going out for a little while. Be back a little after 9 p.m. Have a wonderful evening everybody!
Yes That's a great idea. I hope we can get some info. I really am anxious to know something.
Doing some detective work.. got a number for her daughter, I think... she's still at the hospital... last she'd heard still in the ER waiting for them to decide what was next. They're going to call me back when they hear something...
Thank you so much, Belle
I feel she has been seen by the Drs.
I'll blog/email as soon as I hear anything.
Belle You have mail.
Thanks again for being a good sleuth!
Thanks Belle Will be watching for more info
Thanks Belle yes if you hear anything about Nilla please let us know in here.
TAI is sleeping in his most favorite spot - The Ledge
It still makes me nervous seeing him there but he sure does handle it well.
Just checked out beautiful Frieda on the nest - Their forum has no new news. Once again, she is giving us the evil eye!
Still no news that I've heard
.Thanks Jo I'm glad you made it to Lady's site and left a message for my son. I know it wasn't easy to do. (((hugs)))
JO I am glad there is news from Patrick. I can imagine however that moral is down now, how much longer does he need to be over there?
Nilla's remark was made around 10:35am
from work waiting on someone to come in and take over. Her BP was going crazy. Belle is in contact with her daughter, Dawn. Dawn promised to call Belle with info. It's just a waiting worrying game!
Still no word - no news is good news? If they haven't released her or put her in a room I bet they are hearing about it!
Good evening fellow bloggers! Just got home.
It says:
Becky - Mon Aug 14 18:04:38 2006
This has been so amazing to watch and to see my aunt sharon glued to the computer when she supposed to have been working. These eaglets have been a blessing for sharon. I thank everyone for this.
Isn't that cool?
Thanks Belle!
Mema you have mail -
not sure what to do about Nilla... if I don't hear something tonight, I might stop by in the morning after I drop my daughter off at band camp to see if she's got a room and a cute male nurse corraled.
Much to pray for tonight, so I think I will get a head start, can barely keep my eyes open. Have a peaceful night everyone.
Sweet dreams Mits - know that Maggie is still in my prayers, too! {{{{hugs}}}} Bet you had a day filled with huggin and snugglin
Going to bed myself. Have to start work at 6 a.m. (UGH). Sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers.
TTFN. GN!
Belle We're the only 2 online. I'm not going to be 100 - are you?
No word yet from Nilla Will add that to my prayers for tonight.
.Sharon Think I'll go read the guestbook. How special an entry that is going to be..that is great!!
Good night all. Blog with you tomorrow.
My legs are gettin hairy....
woooohoooo send me the wax!
Nighty night Glo you must be very tired from the evening. I'm sure it was very good for Tom to be able to participate. What a great idea with families and friends spread across the world, to be able to meet online and offer support like that
Wasn't even going to fight for the 100 tonight. I am getting a bit of wax build up! :):):)
Good night for real!
Frieda off the nest.. just to have something bird releated here
Frieda back - goodnight sharon, sleep well {{{hugs}}}}
good night Jo if you're still lurking, I will keep y'all posted tomorrow.
Belle Read your email that I just sent. Then after your reply I'll blog the info. Can't be worried about 100.
Okay, Mema Jo, what? You have me a little nervous here!
For any Eagle Buddy still awake
10:50 pm Phone just rang - It was 'you know who'. When I asked her where she was -
She replied, Where do you think I am?!
I said I guess you wish you were home but your in the hospital bed aren't you? Yess It was Nilla
Will publish this quickly in case any eagles are lurking.
And . . .
Almost forgot
GOOD MORNING, SUZANNE
Are you really planning on the 26th of this month to stop by the Washington Monument Park around 1:30?
Did you read the rest of your new camera's instructions & get to see your pictures?
Have a great day!
Goodnight my EagleBuddies
Sweet eagle dreams........
Good morning, Suzanne. Back to work today for me! Vacation seemed mighty short.
Where is the zoo?
I think the closest zoo to here is the Mill Mountain Zoo in Roanoke, VA. Probably been 35 years since I have been there though. I did go to the zoo in Norfolk a few years ago. My biggest memory from that one was a screaming 3-legged monkey.
Good morning - looks like rain to the north, but not here. Going to read blogs.
Hubby took daughter to band camp, so I'll get a few things (maybe) done here before I head into my classroom to get a few things (maybe) done there and then go visit :)
I wonder what kind of snack I can take to her. I already know I am going to find her a mylar balloon with an eagle on it SOMEWHERE... she needs to have an eagle watching over her while there.
Good morning Sharon!
Belle, you might want to be careful what you take Nilla to eat. She might be restricted on some things.
There I see a parent now... looks like Dad.. talking away - wish I could hear it
Morning Suzanne ,Sharon and Belle.
MOrning floral girl... I want posies before the end of the season... hoping to get some the 27th if you're going to be in shepherdstown
Mornin Pinky (gonna call you that cause of your pink kitten :) ) Yep glad Nilla is where she needs to be... they will fix her up :)
Ok?
Morn'n Sharon & Belle too
Pinky name is all good lol
Belle is tomorrow your big day?
I was kinda because the one girl in there was hugely pregnant and I was asking when baby was due
finally got out 'next month' I think is what she was saying
I can't imagine living and working in a place where I didn't understand my customer's language... scary
Our little fellow with the Blue Teddy Bear is getting more creative. There is something white in nest now also.
I think he is so cute. Especially when he gets those eyes up close to camera.
roclbo=rocking on chair laughing butt off....replace the v in vicky and the with a p and the c with an n ..
LOL Pinky - you got it :)
Gotta pull up the smuflet..
I wonder if Nilla can get a computer in her room to chat... I think some hospitals offer something like that now... that would be very good
Belle not sure if a computer would be good for Nilla right now. Probably relaxing is best. I can see her now on the computer. Typing real fast telling us about the nursing staff and the "hunk" of a doctor but not her's. Wouldn't you know it she would get the old greezer. lol
Hang in there floral girl... it is hard work, but good work that you do, you bring beauty and brightness to people's lives with your work... not a lot of people can say that. {{{{{hugs}}}}}
Well do you see a change?
Now there won't be two Vicky's .... yea I've got a nickname ty ty ty Belle
lol Suzanne I'm no wizard had to think hard how to get Pinky in there instead of Vicky.
That's a great idea suzanne, I have no idea how, though... I wonder if I could print out the blogs somehow... did someone mention trying to figure out how to do that?
I think a good book for Nilla would be "Waxing for Dummies". LMAO! :) Well, it was just a thought!
LOL Sharon! Wonder if I can find a waxing kit to take in for her LOL
OK before I leave while I eat...I think I will try to do something in Word with a fun picture and who knows..It probably will look like a nite rather than a card but I can forward it around, you just add a little comment and your name however you want, we can surely try!!!.
How long we got to get this done Belle
Oh, forgot, GOOD MORNING FRIENDS
Yepper we're the eagles - so hoping the local stores will have something stocked up for the upcoming games...
Nilla's card
OK I have made something. Now lets see. I am sending it to Belle, and all of you. maybe then the easiest would be for you to email to Belle what you would like added as your message and she could type it on and print it out. I will send it in color fancy and then in Black and white so she will have both. I am sure she will be able to print out something. If you want added and didn't get a copy just email me, meanwhile email Belle with what you want added.
Glo
Belle there are Eagle tattoo's
HELP I need an email for Belle I think LOL

I hope you are all OK.
Jim
I agree with you BELLE Tests Smesh LOL. We love MAGGIE just the way she is...just praying for good health. She has gained an oz. since she left the hospital. FLORAGAL Was sitting at my sons' house yesterday and was watching a Hummer, eating out of the bird feeder, is that normal?
OK Plan 2 type in here or email what you want me to add for you OR email it to me, and I will add it and forward it to Belle . As soon as I get her address LOL.
I will forward the finished card to each of you in an hour or so when I think I have heard from all of you.
