11-6-23 Bella and DH Juvie fly over

 625

625 am - Arrival to the nest, the young male ? lands on the nest. Watchful. The male has some white feather fluff just below its white neck feathers, and another on its chest.
627 am - The young male despite the spot on top of its head looks like Smitty/ shep/ben
626 am - Flies over to the snag perches on the large hole at the bottom of the ladder post. This has always been one of Smitty's favorite places to perch.628 am - Bella flies in from the grove, arrives with a leafy branch; she moves the branch then the young male helps out.

This is a gift of the juvenile that flew over
This is a video from the Field cam from our dear sweet Deb from The Outdoor Channel page and 12 Eagle 101 if you're not on Bald Eagle 101 on Facebook please join make sure you answer the questions to be accepted into the page thank you very much.  You can see the band made platform very well with this picture being all the leaves are gone

629 am - Large bird flies over the nest, possibly a juvenile eagle or a hawk. Recording will need a closer look. Bella and the male issue warnings and alerts.
629 am - The large bird is an immature eagle, another pass over the nest. Bella is not happy she trumpets and trills. The male sounds like Smitty.
630 am - The immature eagle flies by the nest again, Bella and the male just watched this time no alerts issued.
631 am - The male is working on the nest, Bella is not happy she whines a few times.

632 am - Bella works on the rails briefly at the bottom of the LOP. Bella moves up to the lookout post. The young male remains in the nest. Bella turns around on the LOP facing the cam, issues more alerts.  633 am - Bella issues more warning calls, trumpets and trilling, the young male joins in. The young male moves to the short post. The male sounds so much like Smitty calls are more mature sounding than some of the intruder males we have seen on this nest. The adults are molting.
635
636 am Both adults watchful.
638 am - Bella exits first then the male follows. Both head toward the grove.
5:35 they both arrived one right after the other he arrived first Bella's second! You could hear them coming in with their wings slapping before you could see them as the neat part about it!

He was still in the nest at 6:08 when this is published

No evening visit I will pop in if they pop in the nest later or I'll put it on tomorrow as I should
