Lynne1, I agree with you about watching the live feed using Chrome. I have been a Firefox fan for years! But lately, I have been getting frequent pop-up boxes saying that Flashplayer is "busy." When that happens, the page freezes and I lose the cam until I reload the page.
I did a Google search on the problem and it seems to be a major Firefox/Flashplayer problem. With Firefox, you have to use a Flashplayer "plug-in." With Chrome, Flashplayer is built right into the browser. So I have started using Chrome to view the live cam and have had no such crashes.
I am heading out for a bit didn't run to Michaels last night and the JoaAnns couple expires after today 60% off one item

Judy, my in-laws have a metal roof because after the first couple of years up in the top of the mountain, they got very tired of shingles blowing away!

When I enlarge the nest, it covers my tool bar so I can't get to Snip It. Can always crop a regular capture, or maybe put Snip It in Start Menu!! Sure would like to get a closer pic of Eggbert ☺, if and when there is an appearance!

My teenaged neighbor told me not to rely on Firefox and to use Chrome. I wish I was a little more computer savy. I do prefer my iPad to my laptop nowadays, but I can't watch the cam and do other things on the iPad. Hope to get another good view of our "bubbleheads" before dark.

Sorry Lynne2 about saying hi to you. I have heard that the tin roofs cost much more but are so much better in the long run. I think you will be happy with yours when it is on.
Sandi, I have Google Chrome and right now I have the blog sitting on my screen along side the live eagle cam. I will tell you that if I go into facebook at the same time, I am ok until I go into Farmville,which I am trying to stop doing anyhow. I got on it for my sister's kids and am getting tired of playing it.
Eagle Eyed Sharon where were you when we could have used your eagle eyes earlier? LOL
Thought we might see a feeding there but nope.
Candy, I thought I couldn't have 2 windows open at the same time with Chrome. But then I saw the "New Window" option in the menu and BAM, I had a new window! I think I am going to try using Chrome exclusively for a week and see how I feel after that. It may be time to part ways with Firefox.
Sandi I think the new little one won't probably get it's first feeding until tomorrow. I may be wrong, but I don't think they get fed right away. Also glad you can get both up now. I can't remember what I was using a few years ago, but I had eagle cams all over my screens.
Every time she does the wiggle, wiggle, I am afraid that she will squish the little one with the remaining two eggs. LOL
One of the eagles got the small fish that was on the edge of the nest from earlier this morning, but I didn't see who it was or when. I might have been out for my daily walk.

It is already starting to get dark at my house on OBX. :( Then I'll have to wait until tomorrow. I do hope they fix that broken light for next year.
I thought I saw the little one during this last egg rearrangement. Then I saw a black spot on an egg.
TY, JudyE!!! After trying 2 browsers I FINALLY got into EM photos. Yahoo hates me. I signed in, but could only get ABOUT, no photos. Then I got in w/Google which I just reinstalled lately. IE is limping along, but text sure is larger!
Captured the tiny bobble pic and added more "pickles" and some text. Think I'll put it in Nook after I add the ospreys tonight.

Shirley, I wondered if I saw a spot on one of the eggs this last time too. That egg better wait until tomorrow. :)
Right now I am using Firefox. I had been using Chrome, but every time I load it, I get the same virus--Condit, so I changed. Now, I have gotten something else. I tried to download Google Earth and got the Bing search engine. I cannot get rid of it. Research tells me that it's a problem for a lot of people. I would have thought Bing was okay, but not when it comes uninvited, does not show up on my list of programs, and will not leave.
It was too quick to get a picture, Candy, but I saw a spot.
Okay, it seems we have Belle on the eggs now.
I am able to see the cam and blog at the same time. Can open multiple windows.
Judy I have been placing lots of daily pics in our EM Yahoo album. I can get them in date order but not in Time order within that date by labeling date first with no
symbols - 322 is today
then I put the hour 1142 . I can arrange in "List" and ">" order.
Crazy ads are popping into our photos!????? AND I used to get notice every morning of the pics that were put in the day before BUT that hasn't been happening...

Boy, talk about one of nature's miracles ... watching that powerful eagle gently feeding her tiny baby! I could watch that all day long!
Well friends, today has been a wonderful day for the eagle world and for all of us who love these 2 eagles! Think I'll go watch some TV. Goodnight - I will see everyone in the early AM!

Well the nest is darkening, so I think I am going to follow the rest of you and go out and finish my dinner with my husband. :) I have been eating in front of the computer so I could watch the eagles. :( and he has been having dinner alone. Today has been a happy day for all of us. Tomorrow will bring a new day with more excitement. You all have a wonderful restful and peaceful night. See you in the morning.
Patches will come home Thurs. Yes it has been a great day. Hate to see it get dark at the nest tonight but it's probably good for us who need sleep. I have actually been sick much of this week, which is why the nap today I am sure. Good night everyone AOYP and surround this sweet nest and all who love this place too.

Looks like Belle is feeding the baby again.
I got to see the first feeding as it happened. Then saw some great pics and videos on Facebook. Thank you all for sharing. Calling it a night. Jo- I root for WVU but am a North Carolina fan and have been for a long time. Enjoy the game tonight. I'm working 6 days again next week...will try to check in tomorrow sometime. I really know waht I have missed and know why you all love watching the Shepherdstown Eagles. Thanks for letting me follow here and on Facebook.

Goodorming my eagle friends. It's Monday. 32 degrees here and windy outside - where is spring?
No one posted on the blog after 8:20 last night??? What's up with that? I guess everyone was either watching basketball games or completely warm out from yesterday's excitement at the nest!
Have agreat day all. Busy week for me - 3 IEP meetings in a row Tues., Wed., and Thurs.
Just reread my post - I mean worn out, not warm out! It sure isn't warm out!

Hunter is at school. He did try to argue with his mother that he should stay home because Luna might need him today. Nice try, Hunter. Luna has an appointment for tomorrow at 4:30. It is true that I need Hunter to lift Luna into the car. She is too heavy for me. I can help her get into the car when she is not limping, but not when she needs to be lifted.

Sandi, so glad to see fish there for a morning breakfast. It is a sure sign that there hungry birdies in the nest.
Shirley, I sure hope the vet can help Luna and get that limp stopped; hurting somewhere.
WVJerry I am glad that I have Tar Heel fan on here to be with. My son went to Carolina so naturally we root for them always.
I can hear a lot of different birds calling in the background at the nest. Sun is shining there and NO SNOW!
We are supposed to stay in the 40's down here today. :( Bring on spring, I say.
Can't wait to see how our eaglet #1 has survived the night and if he is a little better coordinated today. AND maybe we'll be surprised by another hatch today.
