""MN DNR nest - This was an update from their site: This week we were able to finally read all of the numbers on Mom's band on her leg! We tracked down the data and found out that she was banded by the Raptor Center of Minnesota in 2010. The band on the left leg is one indicator (most banders use the right leg). She had been brought into the center with a foot injury and intestinal parasites. The doctors at the Raptor Center determined that she was hatched in 2009. After her injuries healed, she was released in Hastings in November of 2010. If this is the same female that nested at our camera nest last year, it would have been her first brood. Eagles reach sexual maturity at the age of five. It takes this long for their plumage (feather colors) to reach the full white head and tail. Inexperience by young birds often does not end well and this might be part of the reason the nest failed last year. Whatever the reason, we were very excited to find out this information about the mother at our nest and that they are raising their first brood just fine!"""
Worked in the yard most of the day! Whoops! Now have a ton to do indoors.
Laurel called. The doctors looked at Jacob's MRI from years ago and feel no nerves will be involved. They go to Fort Worth Friday for an ultra sound on his neck. I will probably go, too. Then decisions will be made. Laurel thinks they will both take the whole day off. Fridays are always a traffic problem. The may come here for dinner. Laurel is leaving it up to Jacob. If he wants to go home, they will go home.
I have been working at the idea of not trying to do every thing all at one time. soo, today, we took the RV down and had it filled with propane . I found a couple of small items I wanted for it while we were out at camping world.
in the prep to go out there I was digging thru some paperwork, ended up spending nearly an hour sorting, pitching, etc.
when we got home, I cleaned up a little, had some lunch and grabbed a nap.
I think the sandperson is working overtime. I am very sleepy again. it isn't even 8 p.m! :( this does not please me.

Goodorming my eagle friends. I see our eaglets snuggled together in the nest again. Parent just landed.
Paula, good news about the TV - I'm sure that makes Larry very happy.
Lolly, encouraging news about Jacob - prayers continue for him. Enjoy your company!
The young man who bought Mom's car picked it up yesterday. His mom called last night to say there was a problem at the MVA b/c the car is in Mom's name and I signed the title as the seller. More hoops to jump through today to prove that I have permission to sell it!
Nail appointment this morning, then taking the Jeep back to the shop for some additional preventive work It's been nice having this week off, just to move at a slower pace.
quiet night here. Olivia's mouth got her into trouble last night. typical stuff for teenager, not for her though. funny in a sense to see/hear my very quiet child mouthing off!
anyway, she went to bed early.
so did I. very tired. slept great.
hope everyone has a lovely day! thinking of each of you!
Sandi, with the car issue you might want to have a copy of the death certificate along with you. Helped with my mom's cars. She left a handwritten, un-notarized piece of paper.
I will speak with Sandperson. He can check the GPS for Janet and JudyE. He's still on probation from that recent incident.
Paula, glad you got the TV and Larry is happy.
Parent was eating and the babes were wiggling around. Nice sunshiny nest for them.
Off today to get spectacles adjusted and maybe some vittles.
Checking in briefly to relay this message from LINDA---prayers, please. I sent her an e-card---have been missing her, but figured she was just Tax Time busy.
Kay, Thanks for the Easter Card!! Just had a chance today to see it. Tax season has been tough this year and then Friday I ended up in the hospital with the flu. It sure came on fast and hard. Tested positive for Influenza B, which is the rarer strain. Figures! Got home from the hospital Monday evening and now I am healing the rest of the way from home! Sure have missed you all....and hope to join you again real soon! Take good care and love to you and the gang! xoxo Linda Salsberry

Hello Eagle Pals...I feel I should say Knock Knock can I come in? Been really busy, don't like missing out on the doins' here !
Prayers are added for Jacob...big day Friday, hope all goes very well.... and for Jo...same wish, for a trouble-free cataract surgery.... and for Linda recovering from the nasty flu!
(( HUGS )) with those prayers, and for all the other needs amongst us all
National Telecommunicator's Week is, as far as I know, this week :) gets kind of lost in the shuffle sometimes, BUT one GREAT feature of OUR week, is this:
Jewels was awarded a certificate for "Telecommunicator of the Year" at our Center, Today !!!
Bravo and Clap Clap Clap for Sure!
She is at work right now! But I cannot keep this news from all of us Momsters and Dadsters !!
Good evening to all ♥ The choral concert was wonderful - Alexis sings her heart out! Got home around 7:30 and then after Jeopardy I watched my Midsomer Murders - it was good.
On FB I saw Carolyn's announcement about her award - She had soooooo many Congratulations about her performance. She really found her niche ♥
Thank you all for your prayers and good vibes for me tomorrow morning. I'll try my best to get on here when I get home... From what everyone tells me - this is a piece of cake.. I really didn't want any cake. lol
Margy, the WOOD THRUSHES are coming!!! The banders at Chester River Research Station in Chestertown, MD....that is on the Eastern shore, pretty much due east of Baltimore. HERE THEY COME!!!
The osprey nest on the traffic cam has been resolved. The battle between birds and bureaucrats is over — and both sides won. A newly built platform allows a family of ospreys to live next to, instead of in front of, a Maryland Transportation Authority traffic camera on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge
good evening to all JO: keeping you clos e in thought…. CONGRATS: CAROLYN Thinking of LOLLY and JACOB…
Holding ALL in heart and thought… It has been a good day. Work was good. I had some free time so I straightened up the back storeroom. I had lots of energy and nothing better to do….and it needed to be done. Better day with the kid. She kept the attitude in check! I had some time to play in the RV today. I hung the new trashbag holding device….put in the new flatwear container. I had Tom to put together the gizmo that we bought that is supposed to quiet the stove top rattle and double as extra counter space. It is a piece of butcher board and on the bottom is a cushion and little feet that snap into the top of the stove. The weight of it is what quiets the stove while you are moving down the road.
We walked the heelers tonight. They love to walk. I picked up trash as we walked along. Got a grocery bag full. Now its just about time to dent the pillows. I am tired, but thankfully not soooo tired as last night. Glad JUDIE has the sandperson under strict control. Rain expected in a couple of hours, but nothing severe anticipated. I am thankful for the rain. SED to all. See you in the a.m.
Oh, before I go to sleep, I wanted to say that I planted some potatoes today. Hope they grow and the critters leave them alone. Last time I planted potatoes, they were delicious. Hunter helped me bring home several bags of garden soil and some mulch for the trees.
Well, Jo, you come back when you can see to type correctly. We all know what this group can do with typos. All will go well. Virtually holding your hand tomorrow.
So happy you enjoyed the performance.
Margy, thanks for the Dirt Devil experience. For #23.00 I'm skeptical.
Congratulations to Carolyn. Remember when she was applying for the position and then training. She's proven herself and more.
Dear Friends, close to saying Good Night, but have a little news. My son-in-law, Jimmy, from TX wrote me with a wonderful link. He was speaking with a dinner guest who asked if we had seen this!!!!!It is really tops, because it's in Georgia and the one chick will probably be fledging soon. http://www.berry.edu/eaglecam/
Sorry, no bluey. Thought it might change color on it's own since we're online! They have a night light bright as day!! I had mentioned doing some pics I got, but not a chance. Found out we're getting out of town company on Sat!!!! Been lightly shoveling house and then tonight just learned it might be a sleepover, not just a visit! So the guest room and downstairs bath aRE GETTING SPIFFY. However WHILE REDOING THE BED, ONE LITTLE KITTY CRAWLED UNDER THE SHEET BLANKET & STAYED THERE! Sorry, hate capslock! Anyway, if she's still there she's getting uncovered!!!
Hope to get back soon, I hope. Very much work to do at Chelsea on Friday & we can never get that 'puter to work anyway. SED and Good Health Prayers for All ;>)
Judie: mine cost $29 dollars 9 years ago...so I think YOU got a bargain also...
Lynne2: Yay on the Wood Thrushes almost arriving, I will listen for them out Swinging Bridge way on Saturday !!! And when your avatar changes...then I will know YOU have heard them, yes ???
Holding all my dear friends and our loved ones up in Prayer tonight, and all the time and may God Bless Our Health Care Providers with the best skills as they care for OUR loved ones
But more importantly it is the 2 yr anniversary of the date when we lost out Momster, Lynn Ellen Riner. It just seems like she should be here on the blog with us. My heart aches and tears fall when I think of my friend. I will love her forever ♥
Time to head to bed but wanted to get on and catch up on any news.
Had a good evening with Sharon and Dan.
Getting up early, heading out to mow, and then heading to the hospital for Jacob's test. Laurel and Jacob are coming here for supper. Traffic will be horrendous heading north, so they are coming here for a while and then head home.
Yes, they are saying we could have bad weather Sunday. Well, that day we are heading to Dallas. Taking Sharon and Dan to Dallas to Michael's. Laurel and boys should be there too. So hope the hail, etc., does not develop!!
Night all! See you sometime. Just know we have a lot going on and that I why I am not getting on much.
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Good Friday morning my eagle friends. I see 2 eaglets snuggled together in the center of the nest. Don't know about WV, but rain is in the forecast for here today.
Jo, sending prayers and positive energy your way this morning for a successful cataract surgery for you.
Lolly, sending prayers and positive energy your way that Jacob's tests reveal an easy removal of the cyst on his neck.
Also prayers for Linda's fast recovery from the flu and for Larry as his radiation and chemo treatments continue.
Thinking of Lynn this morning and the hole that is left in Christie's and Carolyn's hearts as they miss their mom.
Tennis for me this morning and then more estate stuff. Yesterday I got 2 different answers from 2 different people at DMV about the paperwork needed for transferring Mom's car title. I took some documents to the buyer so he can take them to DMV but I will be on stand-by this afternoon in case I need to drive to DMV myself to get things resolved. Nothing, and I mean absolutely NOTHING resolves itself easily when it comes to settling an estate - GRRRR!
Also need to call the attorney at the title company to get answers to questions about the condo settlement coming up on the 5th.
Prayers said for the morning, but the nice thing about prayer is they can be said all day long...
Thinking of our dear friend Lynn.... Jewels will be spending some special time with a good friend of hers today...it's a Total Day Off for her, we are on our Four Days Off.... (( HUGS )) to Carolyn and Christie and their Families today, every day
Hi, Everyone, It's been what seems like forever since I've found my way here, and I hope you'll forgive me for being MIA. Ken & Emma & I are all OK, but extremely busy. I'll explain in a minute, but more importantly, I want to say that I've been saying prayers for Jo and for Jacob today. Also, am missing our Lynn more than usual today. Can't believe it's already been 2 years! I still can hardly believe she's not still here with us.
Ken has been spending a huge amount of time on the laptop, keeping in touch with other friends who were let go at the same time. He also needs to be actively looking for work. We're still praying about whether or not to sue. Have spoken with 3 different attorneys, and if we proceed, we have one we think is the one to go with.
I have gotten more work from the doctor who's been sending me reports to transcribe, so I've been busy too.
It's extra crazy this week and will be next week, too. We are preparing to fly to Orlando to see our GD Courtney compete with her cheerleading team at the Summit competition at Disney World. We leave May 2nd, and return home on May 9th. The cheer competition is supposed to be shown on ESPN, though I don't know what day or time yet. We are mostly just thrilled and excited to be seeing the kids again!
Gotta run and get ready to go visit our friends, Jim and Darlene, for the day. There's always a lot of Bible sharing, and Jim, as a retired attorney, has been advising Ken about his possible lawsuit.
It's worked out that we've met one friend or another for breakfast or lunch (or once, dinner) nearly every day for the last 2 work weeks. Whew, we're having trouble deciding what day of the week it is at this point.
I'm going to try to get back here once or twice over the weekend, and try to get caught up with what's happening with everyone (a nearly impossible task!) Haven't even had time to watch our eagles! That's terrible!!! Please know that I've been saying prayers for everyone. I may not know what's happening, but God sure does! I love each and every one of you! I ♥ us!
Pulling a "Margy" here--forgot to ask how Hoda is after the quake in British Columbia! Thought of her the minute I heard about it, and have said many prayers for her. Bet that was quite a surprise! Hope she's OK.
Good Red Friday to ALL. Wearing my red owl shirt that I'd like to clone! Some prayerful thoughts for Jo, Jacob and Larry and good health prayers for all. Gotta hit the trail & take a pic of clock when I get to work. No time clock, and when no one else is there, entrance times are sometimes doubted!!!!! Have a call in to the security alarm person. Always something :>(
We'll apparently this is their sixth robbery in this area since November. Two other communities! And then they came to Nelson! Wrong move! We have TWO Police Depts here and they are not laughing. Everyone is on call and they are doing Community Policing tonight to make sure people feel safe.

Good morning.
Well, gracious sakes, I just saw a bunch of leaves being brought into the nest. A small tree has been felled and delivered.
Both adults are there. Small tree being emphatically put into the crib rail area.
The small tree is now part of the crib rail in the 4:00-5:00 part of the nest. I would like to see the area in the 7:00-9:00 zone reinforced.
Eagle calls. Both adults in the nest. Wonder what is upsetting them?
Morning, all
both adults in the nest, look like they are on alert...I see calling out...don't have my sound up.
I think I hear something else. Crows maybe?
Hi, Paula.
Very windy.
No more calls for awhile, but they are both looking around.
Adults quiet, but still on guard.
Sandi, in Maryland all you have to do is sign as personal rep or administrator...hope the fix is as easy for you.
Eagles still watching something off to the right.
One adult flew out. Other is in NHZ, I think.
Yes, I see feet.
Think one adult left and the other may be in the NHZ...not sure
Oh, looks like pins feathers starting to come in on Prez.
Oh I see those feets Shirley...
LOL, double reporting Shirley and Paula on duty!
:)
Well, George has consumed two cans of Fancy Feast and some treats. Now, he is begging again.

Good evening to all ♥ The choral concert was wonderful - Alexis sings her heart out! Got home around 7:30 and then after Jeopardy I watched my
Midsomer Murders - it was good.
On FB I saw Carolyn's announcement about her award - She had soooooo
many Congratulations about her
performance. She really found her niche ♥

A newly built platform allows a family of ospreys to live next to, instead of in front of, a Maryland Transportation Authority traffic camera on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge

good evening to all
JO: keeping you clos e in thought….
CONGRATS: CAROLYN
Thinking of LOLLY and JACOB…
Holding ALL in heart and thought…
It has been a good day.
Hello all.
Again, hoping all goes well for Jacob tomorrow.
Sandperson has departed with a very large satchel of sleepy dust. Reminded him to check his GPS for Nashville and Pinellas.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
SED and Good Health Prayers for All ;>)
Yesindeedy....that Jewels is a

Tomorrow is another Red Friday
But more importantly it is the 2 yr anniversary of the date when we lost out Momster, Lynn Ellen Riner.
It just seems like she should be here on the blog with us. My heart
aches and tears fall when I think of my friend. I will love her forever ♥
Goodnight for today...
Said your prayers for Lynn's girls and family.
Prayers for Jacob and Linda.
Love you all, Jo
Today is a special day ♥
Time to head to bed but wanted to get on and catch up on any news.
Love to all! Thinking of you, Jo!
SED!!!
Well I'm calling it a day

Healing thoughts for
those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Good night and God Bless us all.
Remembering LYNN.
Praying for JO's surgery.
Praying for JACOB's surgery.
Have a good day all.
Good RED Friday Morning, Eagle Pals
Prayers said for the morning,
but the nice thing about prayer is
they can be said all day long...
Thinking of our dear friend Lynn....
Jewels will be spending some special time with a good friend of hers today...it's a Total Day Off for her,
we are on our Four Days Off....
(( HUGS )) to Carolyn and Christie and their Families today, every day
And special thoughts of Jo as she
has her cataract surgery today.....
Hope the Eye Patch is cool, maybe
decorated with some Eagle images
and for Jacob, Laurel, and all the family too
Hoping for Positive Outcomes all around...
Time to get hoppin' to it,
the day
God Bless Our Military...
every day, all the time
Good Day Wishes, Friends

Morning, all.
Eaglets resting at the 10 spot.
Hi, Everyone,
It's been what seems like forever since I've found my way here, and I hope you'll forgive me for being MIA.
I ♥ us!
Good morning,
I see those eaglets at the 10:00 spot.
Managed to get one set of downstairs windows washed this morning. Better view of the birds and the backyard.
I think there is an adult in the NHZ. A couple of glimpses of what looked to be a wingtip. Maybe it was the wingtip of a departing parent.
Pulling a "Margy" here--forgot to ask how Hoda is after the quake in British Columbia! Thought of her the minute I heard about it, and have said many prayers for her. Bet that was quite a surprise! Hope she's OK.
Oh, did not know about the quake in BC. Will have to check that out.
Thinking of Hoda and my Scrabble friend who lives in Vancouver.
More greenery decorates the Sycamore Palace.
Always something :>(
Missing our Lynn, too. So happy we have her daughters with us.
Good morning, Andy. How exciting--a trip to visit the kids. Such fun!
Looks like the earthquake was off the coast a bit.
I heard the earthquake was in Vancouver...didn't think Hoda would feel it.

Good morning.
Y'all come on over. New Red Friday thread.
I see one eaglet laying in the middle of the nest
We'll apparently this is their sixth robbery in this area since November. Two other communities!
And then they came to Nelson!
Wrong move!
We have TWO Police Depts here and they are not laughing.
Everyone is on call and they are doing Community Policing tonight to make sure people feel safe.
