Good to hear from you Lynne and that your dr are getting you back to good health.
Paula - I am thankful there is a Miracle Mouth solution for Larry.
Suzan - it is a major decision on transplant - really need advice from dr plus your personal feelings. My age hinders me doing it - perhaps 20 years ago I would have had a chance at it... You take care.
Lynne, so very glad you have a team of doctors trying to diagnose your problem. Gotta get you better, girl!!
Worked in the yard this afternoon. It warmed up enough that it was just beautiful out. We planted a new tree, another Japanese Maple. Just love them! Jack had to cut down a pear tree that had a disease and this is the replacement.
Understand that Mindy's surgery went well, with no surprises. Need to find out more.
My cousin, Norm, continues with all kind of therapies. Nothing much seems to correct his vision so he can no longer drive. This is very frustrating for him. The who situation is very frustrating as he was so active. Having to adjust and accept a new life style all because of a surgeons mistake.
Heading for the shower. More yard work tomorrow. Night all! SED!!

SUZAN, thinking of you and our dear JO often as I cope with my comparatively minor asthmatic problems and as I vividly recall the struggle my Stan had with COPD. Yearly strides seem to be made in the lung transplant field, so keeping it in one's thoughts as an option is wise. However, you have the pros and cons of current thinking and I respect your view.
Hi SANDI ! Left to read a couple of online newspapers and just had to peek back in to see if you were here. Well, I thought I'd just stay up for the day after the potty break and giving in to my computer addiction. However, all the reading has made me sleepy and I'm heading back to bed. Penny won't be up for two more hours !
Will be thinking of your mother today and will light a candle in her memory. She left us all the legacy of your generosity and unconditional friendship. I'm so grateful for that !
Good mid week morning to all! A little tired and headachy today (my own fault, forgot to indulge in water post massage yesterday) (OOOPS)……but overall, feeling wonderful!
JUDYE: STRONGHUNTER: oh dear oh dear oh dear, what shall we do? I know, lots of love and hugs! Heal those boo boos!
LYNNE2: hope the dr gets you squared away with those meds.
SANDI: I know today is a tough day. It took me a long time to get thru birthdays and mothers/fathers day with out just breaking down. My love and hugs to you…..
Hugs, love, and healing to all in need! (and who doesn’t need love and a hug?)
I was busy, fun busy yesterday. I deposited Olivia at the school, came home, and went and yes, I enjoyed that massage. I tried a different therapist yesterday, she is quite good and worked the arms and hands a lot, which is what I needed, badly.
It was especially wonderful as the boss paid for it! That’s the best, a free massage! I made sure to thank the boss too!
When I came home, I spent the rest of the day playing; I attempted to do henna on my hand. It doesn’t look TERRIBLE, but not the best either. Eh, it will be better next time. I will practice on my feet later. And then I worked on this painting for a friend. We had seen a pix of a chicken on facebook some time ago. It is a rooster with a bandana, glasses, and a peace symbol necklace with a tie dye type background. I chuckled and said hey that’s you, need to make a painting like that for your roost. This is the gal in Michigan who loves her chickens. Well she said she can’t paint a flip. I said, okay, well I can paint a little. So I have been working my own interpretation of that idea, making the chicken looking similar to her beloved rooster, Doodle. It is almost done. A few details are lacking, then spray it and prep it to go into the mail. I will take pix, but I don’t want to post them on face book because I don’t want her to see the finished product! I will however, post a copy on my blog once I take pix.
It is Wednesday and my private clients are back from Florida. I’m afraid they came to Ma Nature’s bi-polar plunge, it is 31 at my house this morning. I covered my hostas and the peony last night. Heading up to the 60’ s today so a nice warm up! Had such a blast last night. Of course, you know from my ranting, my buds, Rebecca, Danny and crew, aka Tuatha Dea were in town. There was much hugging and catching up before the show. They just finished their latest album, hoping to be done by next month….The music was inspired from a set of books by Alex Bledsoe. He has written two out of three books in a triology, THE TUFA TALES. The books are fantastic. The third one comes out next year. Anyway, so excited for them. Today they head to New Orleans, but will be back here next month for the gathering we always attend. I had some peeps with me….actually about 6 to show up. Two didn’t make it, last min stuff came up, but we had a blast. I played my djembe most of the night, we danced, sang and just loved it. Didn’t get home til past 10 and was nearly 11 before I went to bed. Still flying high this morning…..What a great night. Everyone have a fabulous day……Light, love, hugs, and smiles. Namaste.
CA, George is 17 years old. He has become more needy recently. I thought about putting him in his crate last night, but when I picked him up, he felt so boney, I gave in and fed him.
I had shut him out of my room, but his meowing and scratching at my door kept me awake, and I brought him back in when I heard Kathryn telling him to be quiet.
Mindy posted this on fb. Love her positive attitude.
To all of you wonderful family, friends, and complete strangers- who have been praying for us- I could never thank you all enough- surgery went well and we are one step closer to beating this thing! Keep praying for a smooth recovery so we can move to the next step. I Love you all! Mindy
She is such a sweet girl. She is loved by all her patients. But, to me she is still a little girl. She also has a wonderful husband, who is very capable of tending the 3 girls and one baby son while she is sick.
Jack just returned from his 3 months check up. No change, the doctor told him he made the correct decision. That is very nice to hear. We do very well forgetting the problem hanging over us!! He goes back in 4 months. This time was blood work, next time biopsy.
Looks like my dogwoods are fine, too, Jo. I was a bit concerned about my Japanese maples just planted in the fall. One source said they tend to leaf out early and might need to be protected, but another said they are pretty hardy.
I did not think there was much I could do. Covering them when it is windy and rainy does not seem like a good plan. I think they would just produce more leaves if the ones emerging got nipped too much.
Cards are ready for the mail - thanks to hubby for help in addressing them. SO - I have 12 addressed envelopes, 12 signed cards and only 11 $5 bills.--- ok which sealed card has 2 $5 :( the 2nd card a slit open had 2 bills. can't get any luckier then that! lol

Yo, JO ! You've hooked me up with yet another nest. Wow, that is either small hail or large sleet--either way, ouch ! Reading the copy below it seems they have 2 eaglets, both hatched this week. I'm sending this on to my DIL's dad who lives in MN. He's an avid birder, photographer and most interested in the Sandhill Cranes in his home State of NE. Hope he'll latch on to eagle watching one of these days !
Dad just arrived there and is eating some fish--Mom moves revealing two eaglets and one egg that may have a pip. Feeding time in spite of the pellets coming down. Both parents participating in a "let's get this job done quickly" way ! Beyond sweet ! Thank you, JO !
That guy in Boston is a couple of enchilada's short of a combination plate. They run the Marathon there next week and are expecting more runners and more viewers than ever. I imagine Security will up to the task, but I'm going to be praying and holding my breath right along with the rest of the country ! There are always those idjets who want their moment of fame. Arrrgggghhh.
SIS so sorry you forgot to drink your water before your bonus and has HODA been sending your stuff FLYING high after carousing all night LOL I was going to suggest a self feeder for George but I bet he eats soft food for his 17years of age for teeth issues maybe I always have used self feeders for all my animals I see the chicks now when I first signed on I didn't see them
Can;t wait to see the painting Sis JANET has soooooo many talents she got the all in the family musically inclined and paints Me I couldn't even hold a tune on the old recorder in school remember those MEMORIES lol
Oh, my, the MN nest has a fantastic cam with the ability to scan the big tree they are in, the beautiful lake it overlooks---much like the setup The Norfolk nest had---I sure miss that one !
KAY I peek in on that nest also Right now I have the GA nest up and the RF nest up This lil laptop is just a STARTER 7 and the flash player goes bonkers if I have to many cams up ODD I dislike it when it comes up and says JIM is DEAD couldn't google come up with a better way of saying that
was over on fb and Paul the weather man posted some kool pic of Halo around the sun today about 2 hrs ago I wonder if its still like that may have to walk out side
JUDYE, DNR stands for Department of Natural Resources. Seems insensitive of the RF cam folks to refer to Jim's death so bluntly. I assume they are realists who don't want the eagles humanized and so they just tell it like it is.
I will be playing bridge tonight. Third Wednesday of the month. Family is on it's own for dinner. I will snack a bit, then enjoy the goodies served at bridge. They are always delicious.
I think JudyE is talking about a message that appears on her laptop when she has too many cams up. The message is like a pop up notice that says "Jim is dead". It doesn't refer to anyone or any eagle nest!
LOL, PAULA ! I've just been looking all over that River Farms site for info on "Jim", to no avail ! I shoulda' kept my mouth shut and just let JUDY do the splainin' ! I couldn't understand what Google had to do with saying an eagle died ! ROFL ! But hey, poor Jim, he will be missed !
OK let me splain I had two issues wanting to know what DNR was That got answered Thanks for the answer and the other issue was I can't open up to may cams on my laptop because its a starter window 7 I keeping getting flash player messages and then all a sudden a big ;purple display comes up and says JIM IS DEAD what do you want to do reload etc It is google that does that and I just think they should say your web page is dead not JIM Do you all understand now I hope don't want any cornfusion LOL not a real JIM at all nothing to do with RF just was saying that their cam is still down and that is River Farms eagle cam which also has the DNR which I ddn't know what it was
47° at the nest 77° at my house think I will go run up to the cell phone tower Neck isn't killing me to much
A feeding is going on but just with one the other is sleeping so try to keep it down and off course its Prez eating and playing with that stick maybe he brought it to the cup are as a rattle
I sure wish someone would move that dark stick looks like PREZ has his neck in the Y part of the divining rod That is worrying me could poke a eye out LOL
I have thought of getting an auto-feeder for George, but it would have to be one that only allows a limited amount of food at a time. He will eat until he barfs. And, of course, he is supposed to have canned food because of his intestinal problems. He needs the moisture.
One adult and two flopped eaglets are visible at the Sycamore Palace.
There are about 2 sticks that need moving... More worried about the one that is going to poke Prez's eye out but the other one is really long and seems to have been there forever.
I thought Belle was standing on it I saw Prez bite at it earlier but I didn't like the poke in the head and when he was eating it was up around his little neck I got a snip of it also looks like a divining rod
Just checking in before starting dinner. My cam has now been running 6 1/2 hours. Wow!
Worked in the yard this afternoon after running errands this morn.
Looks like our Easter plans have changed. Fritz family coming Saturday, too. Easter dinner will be Sat. night, all spending the night, and all going to church with us. Can you say "Happy Grandmommy!"? LOL
Baking sugar cookies tonight. We have a preschool at our church. Tomorrow we are doing activities with them. Baking sugar cookies, egg shaped, to be decorated by kiddos.
I dislike this time of the year POLLEN my oak tree has my yard and driveway a mess and of course my sinus don't like it either. Gonna rain tomorrow and Fri and some Sat so maybe it will wash it away. I think my allergy reactions is gonna turn in to a cold I hate that when that happens and they always warn about it and silly me forget to take a daily pill I dislike pills so much LOL, always have forget to take them
its been a good day overall. headache hung in there for most of the day, but I think I have finally shook It off.
thank you JUDYE for the compliments. I tried to post the pix to blogger, but it is not cooperating tonight. bah! humbug!
yes, last night was a blast and we didn't get home til...oh my... 10:15! out all night, almost an hour past my bedtime! when I went to bed, I was still hearing music in my head and so it took a bit to fall asleep. I even dreamed the concert....
when I get blogger cooperating I will post pix from last night as well as the painting.
Judy - E4 has daily videos over on FB under Eagle Peeps page. She is one silly gal and she just doesn't want to leave home. Thanks for bringing that video over

Well, Lynne, no can do Easter Pics when I was young...there are none. My parents took very few snapshots. I have my school pics, and few portraits at a studio, and we have family movies!! Yep, old movies now on tapes. Need to get them updated.
Made 90 sugar cookies tonight. They are eggs shaped cookies to be decorated by the children at our church's daycare. Plan to take them in tomorrow afternoon to help with the party.
Way past time to be in bed, but Jack was watching the STARS hockey game.
Goodorming my eagle friends - it's my Friday, thank goodness! the kids have been awful this week. Plus, the ELA teacher on the team called in sick yesterday and left no written plans - just called me at 6am and told me what she wanted the kids to do so I could throw it all together for her! GRRR!!
Then at 11:45, the ELA teacher showed up on the hallway (why does someone come in to school if she is sick, pray tell????) to say she won't be in today either (I had already guessed that was going to happen). At 2:30, the sub for the ELA teacher came to me to explain why she can't sub today and also said that, when she went to tell the secretary who makes the calls for subs, the secretary said Kim had never stopped into the office to say she wasn't going to be in school today! So the secretary didn't start calling for a sub until yesterday afternoon at the end of the day - what do you think are the chances of finding someone on such short notice who is willing to babysit 100 eighth graders on the day before spring break starts??? So ... guess who will probably be teaching ELA today, and creating the lesson?!
Enough ranting - 1 more day until I have 10 days off. I can do this!

chicks uncovered and facing the back...Looks like a feeding from the NHZ
Yes, it does look like feeding from the NHZ.
Prayers and good thoughts, Sandi.
Looking forward to seeing your rooster picture, Janet.
Oh, Kay, I remember a spring in Ohio when a cold snap killed all of the new growth on the trees. They seemed to recover okay.
Well, an adult just tried to squeeze between the babies and the branch. I think it is Shep. He ended up stumbling into the visible area of the nest.
Morning all - we 've made it to mid -week!
Don't recall George's whole situation but maybe a change in food or an addition of something else would tide him over for a bit longer. Good luck.
May it be the best day possible for everyone.

its also for the MN and GA nest refer to the DNR
The RF cam is down again
was over on fb and Paul the weather man posted some kool pic of Halo around the sun today about 2 hrs ago I wonder if its still like that may have to walk out side
KAY there are a few other cams that have the capability to zoom I love them cams also
JUDYE, DNR stands for Department of Natural Resources. Seems insensitive of the RF cam folks to refer to Jim's death so bluntly. I assume they are realists who don't want the eagles humanized and so they just tell it like it is.
That expression sounds like the Star Trek expression "It's/He's dead, Jim." Maybe just a misquote on somebody's part.
Plenty of activity at the Sycamore Palace this afternoon. I see the two little ones. An adult just flew in.
I will be playing bridge tonight. Third Wednesday of the month. Family is on it's own for dinner. I will snack a bit, then enjoy the goodies served at bridge. They are always delicious.
Isla has laid a second egg. (:
Okay, someone please tell me who/what is RF and who/what is Jim and why did Jim die? Are you all watching a daytime soap?
Yay for Isla!
Not sure what Jim Kay and JudyE are discussing, Judie. I am confused, too.
"It's dead, Jim" sometimes shows up on my computer when one of the systems is not working properly. That expression comes from Star Trek.
Will check back later. Need to do some chores around here.
Hey there Judy - Now you know what DNR stands for = what does FWS mean?
You better get it right or Steve will be coming after you!
Got my Easter cards in the mail - Kids should get them by Saturday.
Cut a $1 off coupon for Jenny as she is taking her niece Sophia to the Cat Show this Saturday. They both love cats.
Yeah for Isla ♥
JUDY reports on the RF--a Florida nest and Jim was an eagle or eaglet there. That's all I know.
Whoopee Isla, you go girl ! Do you know if her name is pronounce IS-LUH or EYE-LUH ?
R F Eagle Cam - River Farm, VA
I think they lost all 3 eaglets/eggs
I've never watched this before
Not clear info from reading viewers comments..
You know, of course, I may be all wet about Jim. I seem to recall JUDY being saddened by the death of a Florida eagle, that's all.
IS-LUH is how I have always pronounced it Kay.
PAULA, thanks for the Isla pronunciation assistance !
Shirley - Hope you have some good
bridge hands and some good treats
tonight.
Off to find some dinner
HeLlO hOmE fRoM wOrK
my live feed has been running over 9 hours
eagle in nest I see I had to refresh the one to play catch up and what a nice Fish
Things have gone from bad to worse at the MN nest, poor things. Both mom and pop have a single black spot on the head, like Shep's.
I'm following JO's lead---looking ahead to dinner and some TV or reading.
Love and prayers for all !!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Thanks, Jo.
Looks like a fresh fish at the nest.
Yummy.
Both babes are plotzed and not up yet
both eagle in one in NHZ
someone need to get rid of that divining rod stick poking one of the babes in the cup
both are up now must of heard parents
OK let me splain I had two issues wanting to know what DNR was That got answered Thanks for the answer and the other issue was I can't open up to may cams on my laptop because its a starter window 7 I keeping getting flash player messages and then all a sudden a big ;purple display comes up and says JIM IS DEAD what do you want to do reload etc It is google that does that and I just think they should say your web page is dead not JIM Do you all understand now I hope don't want any cornfusion LOL not a real JIM at all nothing to do with RF just was saying that their cam is still down and that is River Farms eagle cam which also has the DNR which I ddn't know what it was
AWW looks like they are hugging now in the cup laying there
flowers and candy can be sent to my house for JIM LOL
I should of read all the blog again before I started commenting but you know me NOT
47° at the nest
77° at my house
think I will go run up to the cell phone tower Neck isn't killing me to much
A feeding is going on but just with one the other is sleeping so try to keep it down and off course its Prez eating and playing with that stick maybe he brought it to the cup are as a rattle
Glad it is only a fictional Jim, Judy. That is what I suspected. :)
I see that stick, Judy. Yes it should be moved.
I don't even have any kind of sound coming our of my speakers compared to earlier this am no hum no white noise no hissing BBIALW
No noise here, either.
There are about 2 sticks that need moving... More worried about the one that is going to poke Prez's eye out but the other one is really long and seems to have been there forever.
fish wildlife services is what I come up with for fws I hope
I saw the poke JO I think we need to call Steve to go get it LOL
Sun is shinning in on the computer and keyboard - I need a small vacuum
Wow is the dust ever heavy..
I thought Belle was standing on it I saw Prez bite at it earlier but I didn't like the poke in the head and when he was eating it was up around his little neck I got a snip of it also looks like a divining rod
YEAH BELLE just moved the stick
but now he has bit the stick again its on the edge but its not as close still needs moved a bit more
Now if she would only move the longer stick from the center over to 10:00 I would be happy....
LOL

Thank you for the Jim is Dead explanation. I was really getting confused.
Shirley, dust does not imply poor housekeeping. Rather, it is explained as pollen.
No favorites on tv tonight. Will surf around.
Finished cleaning out my cookbook cupboard. Done all the downsizing I can in the kitchen.
Will begin to call for visits to three retirement places. One in Winchester, one in Loudon Cty, and one at Occoquan. To be compared against Solomon's.

I dislike this time of the year POLLEN my oak tree has my yard and driveway a mess and of course my sinus don't like it either. Gonna rain tomorrow and Fri and some Sat so maybe it will wash it away. I think my allergy reactions is gonna turn in to a cold I hate that when that happens and they always warn about it and silly me forget to take a daily pill I dislike pills so much LOL, always have forget to take them
Lolly, thank you for the update on your cousin. Hope for improvements everyday.

Good night and prayers for all!
Back from bridge. George came downstairs to retrieve me for his midnight snack.
Night all! SED!!
Prayers for all - have a good one!
