Well, the doc phoned Sissy in some liquid Phenergan for the nausea but she feels too sick to take it yet. I would have thought the nausea would have been immediately following the surgery and not a couple days later. Lynn, how do you do the hot tea and ginger?
Paula. Thank you so very much for all you do for us and this blog. The running update is so helpful. You ROCK!!!
Lolly. Sounds like u have a great jubby.
Red. You continue to crack me up but we r never here at the same time for me to give u a hard time. Hahaha
PA Lynn. You're not invisible honey.
Geula. I hope you are safe and secure. The check is in the mail.
I think this year Isla aka Lady is 27 and 7Y aka Laird is 11. Lowes is staffed this yr w many newbies and I'm not surprised they could not ID Lady. Last year she had a "Y" on the front of her head which seemed ironic that 7Y was her new partner. Currently, she is sitting in the nest w her back to the cam. I can't wait to get a look at her pretty face n the daylight.
thanks Susan, that is the same link that isn't showing anything. CAM1 shows a still shot of empty nest, and CAM2 is black. Neither cam shows the clock as advancing.
Turtle, that's the link I've tried before, takes me to same place as Susan's but not showing anything but empty still nest on cam1, and black on cam2. no errors.
Sharon: Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin slices. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Once it is boiling, add the ginger. Cover it and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the tea. You can buy fresh ginger at almost any grocery store in the produce section. It can be strong so don't brew/steep it for too long.
If you remember my soldier (out of service now) in GA SSG Ryan... We called him today and wished him Happy 27th b-day.He sounded well - was down gf home visiting on her spring break. She will graduate soon and be a qualified Chiropractor. We really need one of those in our family! He has Sniper Competition this week in GA.
I am happy to say, Jo, that I have my live feed percolating along just fine and I am watching. . . Lolly, you are welcome to visit Magpie's Roost to watch but make it quick before the dinosaur goes into no-live feed mode again. ☺
He applied to Ste Dept and they called last week and offered him a position protecting state officials in Afghanistan - He did turn that one down. I'm sure they'll call again soon.
Hi Susan! Thanks for the comment about me not being invisible!!
Lots going on here.
I'm with you, Liz on trying to view the osprey cam, but I do see just the end v of the tail at the very top of the nest. That must be it. Certainly not much to see, but it's there!
I'll let you all know when the Cedar Waxwings return to Swinging Bridge, and they come in big numbers ! So neat to watch them catching insects mid-flight
Oh Jo! Of course I remember Sgt. Ryan! Thank for you that information, Happy Birthday to him! and I hope a position a little closer to home gets offered xoxox ♥
Robyn I am a patient of Dr. Rodia's now tiny little slip of dentist woman and, right across the street and up a building or two She takes my government insurance up front!
Hoping that Sissy is feeling better and dreamning about pandas Sharon, you are good, to be with her and help out so much... sometimes there ain't nuthin like a sister ♥
Hedgie, Tori ia having her wisdom's removed, the only way they can is thru an OR setting due to her health, it is the safest way but that doesn't explain why I am so scared.
Magpie how is she, she is one of three dentists in the area that is covered under her insurance.
Susan my mom is glad Isla is back, I am sure she may something here regarding it... right mom?
Sharon ginger alone is great for nausea also, like mentioned slice it but as thin as you can and hold it on tongue, if it burns you can soak it in water for a few minutes but not too long, that burning sensation os part of the ginger that helps...
When I was a rookie on foot beat and would have to work sick I would slip into a chinese restaurant on my beat and the old man who owned it would slice me ginger and chinese tea and told me to let it rest on my tongue and occassionally sip the tea. It helped...
I am confused about this retirement thing. I will need to sit down and talk to someone, but I was tired tonight, and there were lots of people there, so I would not have had a chance for an in-depth discussion anyway.
After 17 yrs tori has one very little cavity and as the dentist said a 20k smile. She has good teeth but not sure how the meds will eventually play with them...
Susan I was watching EJ last night, she is hysterical to watch and so loveable. The twigs are twice the size of her that she brings in and the way she just gets busy on her nest. When I have the cam hidden I always know when she lands she makes the same noise...
So that is what it means when you say split? I would read it and wonder what the heck you were talking about. Figured I would learn one day. I ask too many questions as it is!!
We split to a new page every 200 posts. You can tell how many posts there are at the top of the page, and after 200, it appears at the bottom of the page as well. You can move back and forth among the pages by clicking on "older" or "newer."
It's when you complete any block of 200 posts on any thread - then it flips or splits over to a new page you click the blue word "newer" at the bottom of the page, or the blue words "older" at the top of the new Split page thread to backtrack
Howdy.. Was over on facebook Farming ( ya know planting.. harvesting.. gathering eggs .. milking cows and i even had a new born baby lamb..lol and Judy over there let me know they were in the nest.. I did have cam up.. I simply can thelp it this is just so upsetting .. I just feel like going over and searching for Lib again :) Listening to Prez..
Nite Nite one and all light just came on I going to sign out for the even long day getting ready for inventory and work and storms rolling around again so turning of puter God Bess Everyone and this NEST
The thing I notice about the intruder other than the "X" on his head is his extra long thin neck! Maybe that is a sign of youth, but I could tell him by those things in a minute. Plus he has a scruffy looking hair line in the back of his head on his neck.
Sorry, after I posted I went back and was reading the blog. Lib and Belle have always had the egg cup a little further back in the nest, not in the center.
If you look at the bottom of the page and it says you are on #200 of 205, you need to go to the next page to find the newest messages. You can do that by clicking on "newer" or posting a message.
Ok, Robyn, you have been watching EJ, correct? Which cam is that? I am totally confused which is which. Loch Garden and Loch of the Lowes in my favorites, but I do not know which is which.
well to be honest and not negative, and to be objective... hard to put the heart aside on this one... the Trespasser is a spectacular looking bird too EXCEPT FOR THOSE TOES ~
Well Howdy Ms Sharon.. Hope the meds work for her.. I have been feeling the same way but im allergic to Phenergan.. Makes me goofy.. well more than normal.. wink.. I changed profile picture so i could show off my beautful great grandson LeLand he just turned amonth old Saturday.. Ya'll are so right that other eagle is so scruffy looking surely Belle wont fall for him not when she has the best in Liberty..
We are learning (or should I say being taught - the learning part of up to us ! ) Emergency Fire Dispatching and Emergency Police Dispatching, to go with our Emergency Medical Dispatching, standardized questions and instructions for callers.... great for a busy 911 Center We've had the Medical for years, just now adding the Fire and Police
those are the classes I am in this week, five days, 9 hours dayshift
Ms Margy Howdy too havent talked to you i called 911 about the car driving crazy and running on the railroad tracks on Golf Course Rd.. I would just like to get a search party and go look for Liberty.. Does that make sense??? BIGGGGG sighhhhhh
Wanda wanted to say, how dear it is, you and Gene shopping for GG's needs as you do... hope you each got something nice for yourselves too, if you did make that shopping trip
I was catching up and missed a quick nest visit, I see.
Poor Sissy. I hope the ginger helps her. I don't know why, but breathing in thru your nose and out thru your mouth also seems to help with nausea. ?
I am glad Isla is back. I only watched a couple of times last year. At least I think it was her--was she really ill and barely moving while she had chicks in the nest? I'm afraid to even start watching any other cams. I am being very lazy about grocery shopping, cleaning, etc., as it is. If I watch more little critters I'll get even less done. lol
negative, Lynn...9 in the class, went right up to 5 pm
Don't be watching for moonlight overnight folks.... waning crescent moon rises late, and for the next few days will be oootching closer to brilliant Venus in the EAST, look about 90 mins before sunrise...moon is going to rise first
and while you're up keep an eye out for ISS on the 29th and the 31st - Lynn reminded us of those early morning flyovers this week could be different for your respective areas though
I was cooking then eating then posting a few little things then a couple of emails, now I have to clean up the kitchen Chairs during class today, have given me a major back-ache, so I am done for the night... might be able to read my Eagle books now for awhile.
Best wishes for a good evening God Bless This Nest, and God Bless Us, Every One xox ♥
Lynn, I majored in Public History and minored in Women's Studies. I am not working in my field. I would like to work in a museum, but I do not want to commute to DC.
Back for awhile! Watched a good special on NBC---celebration show for George HW Bush & 1000 Points of Light & volunteerism. 4 Presidents there, film visit by Obama. Gotta do hair, etc. for AM work and have to watch Ms. Harry!!!
I never did see LOtL cam move--just showed bird's back & tail.
Pammy, sound like good fields. Hey, check out Washington Co. museum or the Winchester Historical museum.....or even get in to something in Harper's Ferry! Worth checking in to!
Shirley, know you are just too pooped to catch up....:( Kids are wearing you down! Do you all get a spring break??
Thanks, Lynn. I'll have to check those out. I will be moving back to Hampshire County sometime, so I have to take that into consideration too. The Winchester Museum would probably be my best bet.
PA-Lynn----Hope and Lily cam updates are posted nearly every day. This one is all about the overnight activity....spooked bears---a MOOSE was outside th eden...a BIG moose!!!
Yep, Capon Bridge. Craig and I want to find a place up there. That's where I'm from and he loves it there. Now if we could just win the lottery, we'd be all set.
Leona, One of the most interesting, I think, was one of the turtles. It was still alive and almost crawled out of the nest. The juvies had no clue how to eat it, a parent had to help.

Oh Shar, so sorry Sissy is feeling bad! Plz tell her we're sending xxxooo,s and gentle Panda hugs! ☺ ♥
Robyn, hope Tori's surgery isn't anything serious. Prayers ofr you both!
Yeah....we all deserve a break, don't we???!!!!
Loretta, I kind of thought it was a tail, but looks so dark! Well if Peter says it IS Isla....that's 2nd confirmation!!
Paula. Thank you so very much for all you do for us and this blog. The running update is so helpful. You ROCK!!!

Hi everybody!!!!!
I can't view any pics of Lady Isla, can you give me a link that works?
Lynn. You just need to tilk. Haha
If Chrissy AND Peter have confirmed, it has to b so. Chrissy knows her girl.
Liz. Www.swt.org.uk/wildlife/webcams/loch-of-lowes/
Lady just did a poop shoot and a wiggle. Hehehe
thanks Susan, that is the same link that isn't showing anything. CAM1 shows a still shot of empty nest, and CAM2 is black. Neither cam shows the clock as advancing.
Here’s Robyn’s post from previous page:
EJ
http://www.rspb.org.uk/webcams/birdsofprey/lochgartenvideo.aspx
Isla
http://www.swt.org.uk/wildlife/webcams/loch-of-lowes2/
The one listed as Isla seems to be down, so you may be looking at someone other than Isla/Lady.
Turtle, that's the link I've tried before, takes me to same place as Susan's but not showing anything but empty still nest on cam1, and black on cam2. no errors.
Liz. Go back to cam 1. She's on the nest now at noon w her back to cam. Tilt your screen to get a better view.
susan, groan, now I can't get CAM1 to open at all. But once I get there, how do i tilt the cam?
Sharon: Peel the ginger root and slice it into thin slices. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Once it is boiling, add the ginger. Cover it and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the tea.
You can buy fresh ginger at almost any grocery store in the produce section. It can be strong so don't brew/steep it for too long.
You r right Liz. Clock is not advancing but it is live. No sound. They have been having cam problems but I saw a poop shoot. Lol
Are Cam1 and Cam2 both pointed at the same nest?
Think it would have been better if he prescribed the Phenergan as a suppository. Drs. don't think---those sickly sweet liquid preps are nasty!
Cam1 has a bird's backside at 12:00. Cam2 is down.
still can't get CAM1 to come up.
Liz, if you are on a laptop, just TILT your monitor to a steeper angle! Things in the dark show up a little better that way.
Liz, are you getting any kind of error message, and if so, what does it say?
Susan, did you see where I told Robyn that I thought Isla looks like a mini Mothman sitting there??!!
on a desktop at work, T1 line. no errors, CAM1 does the "hour glass" rotating clock thing.
Liz, Maybe too many people are viewing the camera. Just a thought.
Does anyone know if Cam1 & Cam2 are the same nest? Since Cam2 is down all the time, I can't tell.
Turtle. They've changed the cams so much that could b. Cam 2 is black now.
Liz. Tilt your screen Or sit higher or lower to see a different angle of your monitor.
Don't forget to keep our cam open
It should be about that time for an entrance
Ladys back is a dark kinda rounded V just left of middle on top half of screen.
I am watching ours closely Mema Jo!
U can see the lines of her tail feathers at the bottom of the V.
If you remember my soldier (out of service now) in GA SSG Ryan... We called him today and wished him Happy 27th b-day.He sounded well - was down gf home visiting on her spring break.

What a bright spot for Chrissy !!
I have both those Scottish cams but Loch of the Lowe's is dark for me too right now
Hahahahahaha. Mothman!
I'm on it Jo.
Wanda
Flat screen TV's and jewelry are being ripped off a bunch in this county lately...
mean criminals !!
I thought you all ran off with out me. I sat on the other page not realizing there was a split... lol!!!
Finally! after refreshing a hundred times, i got CAM1 to come up. Looks like an empty nest, but I see the tail that Susan pointed out.
I'll let you all know when the Cedar Waxwings return to Swinging Bridge, and they come in big numbers !

Don't know much about ospreys. If this is Lady/Isla, where's her mate. He flies in later?
Jo. So glad u heard from your boy. Good choice on the turndown of position.
Liz. Glad u can see Lady now. She's cleaned up the nest some already. And had a fish today.
Hoping that Sissy is feeling better and dreamning about pandas
Sharon, you are good, to be with her and help out so much...
sometimes there ain't nuthin like a sister ♥
Quiet now, nest-watching time
Good to see everyone tonight!
I'm going to the loo
BRB
Hope they come into the nest
No Jo, don't go to the loo. It makes you disappear for hours! :-)
Watching the Norfolk eaglets being fed dinner. So sad that we don't have Lib. and Belle's PattyO eating.
Back, briefly.
Maybe our eagle couple with return about the same time as the Prez is on tv. Which one to watch????
Sissy, didn't know you had some surgery done, prayers for a speeding recovery. Shar you're a great sister.
Turtle. Isla's mate 7Y aka Laird should b around on a week or so.
Ha Ha I'm Back
Hedgie, Tori ia having her wisdom's removed, the only way they can is thru an OR setting due to her health, it is the safest way but that doesn't explain why I am so scared.
Magpie how is she, she is one of three dentists in the area that is covered under her insurance.
Susan my mom is glad Isla is back, I am sure she may something here regarding it... right mom?
Sorry, that was a real downer comment.
Been watching our nest all day, have not seen one hair, I mean feather, from Belle, or Turd Bird, or Lib.
PA Nana...tough call, NOT
Leona, when in doubt---refresh! It should take you to the current page!
Hi, MArgy! How was class? L-o-n-g???? Glad you have live feed!
Sharon ginger alone is great for nausea also, like mentioned slice it but as thin as you can and hold it on tongue, if it burns you can soak it in water for a few minutes but not too long, that burning sensation os part of the ginger that helps...

Great smiley face, Diann Pa-Nana ☺
Robyn
I like her,
but nothing is too complicated with my teeth right now
Home finally.
I am confused about this retirement thing. I will need to sit down and talk to someone, but I was tired tonight, and there were lots of people there, so I would not have had a chance for an in-depth discussion anyway.

Eagle on Nest
Right on time!
T in the nest
IN OUR NEST
looks to be turd
After 17 yrs tori has one very little cavity and as the dentist said a 20k smile. She has good teeth but not sure how the meds will eventually play with them...
Happy 27th birthday to Ryan, Jo!!!!
Oh yeah...most definikjtely turn down a job in Afghanistan!!
Turd in nest.
He looks smaller every day.
Looking at the cup again, and also for Belle
Decision made! I'll watch the nest and listen to the Prez. Now, that wasn't so hard.
Just so he doesn't take an hour to tell us what could be said in 15 minutes. My bad, but he is long-winded.
Before anyone gets their dander up, I'm a "registered" democrat.
Best go and keep quiet for now.
... later
He has ugly feet.
And a dirty ugly head.
Both in the nest again.
And b is n
And she pisses me off associating with him.
Susan I was watching EJ last night, she is hysterical to watch and so loveable. The twigs are twice the size of her that she brings in and the way she just gets busy on her nest. When I have the cam hidden I always know when she lands she makes the same noise...
And Belle. Fluff realignment.
Seems like a friendly visit
Turtledove, the male osprey comes 1-2 weeks after the females.
Digging at egg cup and nest
Are they going to dig that hole again?
LOL Sharon
Yeah, maybe we should call him Ugly Head!!
Diann-------PELOSI!!!!!
So funny T is trying to get cup more toward the middle b goes for the old spot.
Love to know what Belle is watching
Jo. U called it on arrival
b gone
She can't be bothered with him!
Maybe she's off to meet Lib!
OK where did she go
Flew off to the right, Jo.
Ladies he could become the father of our chicks :<(
evening all....I'm just in time to see the Truder.
Sharon, I am noticing some bitterness in your tone where he is concerned.....LOL!
REALLY??? Is it TRUE???? Isla has returned? No time to read back too far....
Yes, he may be the father of the next chicks but he is still Turd Bird!
Kind of like the wicked step-father!!
T gone.
And he is off to the right as well
Poof intruder eagle.
Just got here. Did not see Belle just the TB, I have noticed that he is digging more towards the center. Another proof that he is not Lib!
He flew up in tree
Well that was pretty uneventful...
Not that there is anything wrong with that!
I love how you say poof, Shrley!!
Why is that not like Lib, Lolly?
Wish I knew Lib! What did he do?
@ hedgie I kept doing that and the last post was the one from Robyn. Did that for an hour until I realize there was a split... dah... lol!!!
Lynne - Yes Isla is home
Who has ugly feet, Sharon...the Prez or Turdbird?
You are a HOOT, in addition to being a GOOD sister:)
So that is what it means when you say split? I would read it and wonder what the heck you were talking about. Figured I would learn one day. I ask too many questions as it is!!
Lots to learn!
Lolly. So agree
Robyn. EJ is very vocal. U can always hear her come in and chirps w every single bite when feeding chicks.
If Ugly Toes was watching Liberty fix up the nest in the past he didn't learn very well about how to do it
And Belle is not taking much interest in it either.
except in that deep well of a hole
Will continue to watch and hope for a Different "They" in the nest, the Original They
PALynn. Egg cup is usuay toward the far end of nest

well you and I did Shirley ☺
Hope you can work your way to retirement soon...
Well, well, well - if it ain't NillaWafer! Yay!
I'm catching on little by little!!
Did Liberty always make the egg cup at the edge of the nest or do all eagles do that?
Nite Nite one and all light just came on I going to sign out for the even long day getting ready for inventory and work and storms rolling around again so turning of puter God Bess Everyone and this NEST

JudyE don't you float away....
I didn't enjoy it either Nilla the nest watching

Congratulations on the new grandchild
Good to see you by the way

It does take awhile to find your way on this blog, but it is not as complicated as some.
gonna check out for awhile, and look through a couple of Eagle books I have....
Lynn
class was good, team teaching, one instructor from Northumberland County PA

Yeah, Jo, kind of like teenagers, who aren't mature yet!! They look scruffy!! LOL ☺☺

Good evening, folks.
If I watch more little critters I'll get even less done. lol
Why do I do it? I looked at a few postings on OD and errrrrr...
Yes, Pammy, we thought we would lose Ilsa last year.
Lolly,
This is EJ's cam http://www.rspb.org.uk/webcams/birdsofprey/lochgartenvideo.aspx
I never really watched them but mom has been talking about Isla since maybe 2007 or so...
Lolly, Loch Garten is EJ & Odin. Loch of Lowes is Isla and Y7.
G'night, JudyE. Hope the rain stops for you....and starts for Lolly!
Hi, Nilla! Cute ggs!
Lynne, Chrissy's announcement IS in momster mail!!!
Margy, with such a big class---did you get out early?? Probably not, huh? :(
negative, Lynn...9 in the class, went right up to 5 pm
Don't be watching for moonlight overnight folks....

Pammy, you are right about the breathing technique! I should have mentioned that!
Margy, noticed last night that the crescent moon was certainly not shedding any light!!
Pammy, asked once but you must have missed it the other day----are you on spring break from school?
Leona----DON'T LOOK THERE!!! Don't let your blood pressure go up!
DWTS ----no nice soft, pretty Viennese Waltzes....at least not yet. Sure donn't care much for the jives and the some of the others dances.
@ hedgie... to late errrrrr
Lynn, I have missed quite a few posts recently. lol

I just sent you an email about the visit
I was composing while your message was going up !
Looks like I lost everyone again.
Leona we are all right here above & beyond you!! You are a safe #353
comment. We have 47 more to go before we SPLIT....
I am planning on watching Harry's Law at 10pm
Then I'll return to say my good nights
BBL
Leona, I think there was just no activity for a few minutes.
I was cooking then eating then posting a few little things then a couple of emails, now I have to clean up the kitchen
Chairs during class today, have given me a major back-ache, so I am done for the night...
might be able to read my Eagle books now for awhile.
Best wishes for a good evening
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One
xox ♥
I was wondering... I know there wasn't a split yet but sure seemed like I was alone... :) Hubby has tv so I am just watching the screen here... :)
Hi Leona
(and PammySue ☺)
..I think a few are watching television shows and lots of cams and getting caught up....
not to worry, folks will be back !
Good Night Everyone !
Goodnight, Margy. Sleep tight!
Leona, lots of lulls during evening hours when we get caught up in our various TV shows!!
Bear Update.
Pammie, well congratulations, graduate!!! So......what was your major? And are you working in your field?
And some of us are falling into a coma.
Long day here.
Night magpie. I will get the hang of this.
Leona, sometime you just have to talk to yourself. LOL We won't think you too crazy!
Lynn, I majored in Public History and minored in Women's Studies. I am not working in my field. I would like to work in a museum, but I do not want to commute to DC.
I talk to myself a lot on here....
Let's see . . .
I had to
tell at least two people what day it was.
return a bunch of test papers and make sure they got filed properly.
take a class to the library and worry about what one young lady is going to do besides read the newspaper.
etc., etc., etc.
We, will not split until 400 comments. Every 200 posts it splits.
I am watching DWTS and waiting for my laundry to dry.
I am watching, too, Shirley.
I talk to myself all the time. Walking around my apartment, while I'm driving, at the grocery store . . .
I'm my own best friend. :)
Hello, Miss Lynne.
hedgie: what's the bear update about? I think I saw that last night, too.
hey there Miss Pammy!
Must stay goodnight.
I will see you tomorrow.
Night Shirley!! Sweet dreams!!
Goodnight, Shirley. Enjoy your coma . . I mean sleep. :)
@Lolly lol
Where is this bear den and who watches it?
Oh, Pammie, yeah, Winchester would be closer to H. Co.----Capon Bridge? That's laid-back livin'!
Yep, Capon Bridge. Craig and I want to find a place up there. That's where I'm from and he loves it there.
Now if we could just win the lottery, we'd be all set.

Lily and Hope and Faith and Jason
In Minnesota
Thanks, Paula!!
You guys follow everything!! If it has chicks, cubs, babies, etc, you follow it!!
I like that!
I have something I have been wanting to ask and since there was a duck brought into the Norfolk nest I am going to ask.
What have you seen brought into the nest? If you think the question is a gross I do understand if you don't want to answer.
Leona: Which nest?
I saw them bring in a squirrel to the NBG nest a week or so ago.
I bet you'll get lots of answers from the ones who have been watching this for a long time!!
Of course, all sorts of fish, too.
I think they actually went through two waterfowls today over in Norfolk!! They are chowing down!
PA-Lynn...we all watch it!!
www.bears.org
Lots of fish, a squirrel early on this season, TURTLES.
It's in northern MN.
We have seen, fish, turtle, rabbit, deer leg, snake, squirrel, hamburger in a package, birds and mystery meat!
Did I forget anything folks?
I've only been watching since last year, but I have seen fish, duck, and turtle brought into the nest.
Mema Jo wants one of those turtle shells so bad.
It's a bear den cam at a large research facility run by Dr. Lynn Rogers.
Guess I was talking about any nest. Yes I saw the video of the duck lunch...
Leona,
One of the most interesting, I think, was one of the turtles. It was still alive and almost crawled out of the nest. The juvies had no clue how to eat it, a parent had to help.
I have a video of that one on youtube...think it's from 2008
Paula, hamburger in a package?? That is crazy. I would love to see pics of that.
Leona, when the sound is working, you can hear them crunching and tearing whatever they are eating.
Turtles and snakes!
