Same to you Sandra - thanks :) I love your polar bears! I hope that they all get the help they need to have a great come back in 2007 - poor, magnificent animals struggling so hard.
I got quite a few stills of Liberty and Belle in the nest this afternoon, who do I send them to that can make them into those awesome little stop action sequences? Or who can tell me how to do it?
Finally got the littlest off to bed...I admit, I did let him stay up past his bedtime...then poor little guy couldn't get to sleep...Mom still rocks him...I think she spoils him more than me!
Happy New Year to all the wonderful eagle buddies I have met on here and the momsters group this year. You all have made this one heck of a 2006, looking forward to spending 2007 with you.
Right back at you Paula - it has been a tremendous year - I am excited to see what 2007 has in store for us all - hopefully far more joy and fun than pain and sorrow
He really didn't want to go to bed at all. :) We had fun after he stopped crying...he is at the age where he realizes that Mom and Dad are gone and wanted them...so he finally calmed down, ate some dinner, then we played in the basement...
Well here it is going on 2:30am and just got in... its miserable out there raining so hard... Any ways 1st off i didnt get a fireman..lol 2nd we had a great dinner of steak n shrimp with trimings at fire hall.... played the tip jar alittle.... then we decided to go down to Baltimore Inner Harbor for the fire works and it was awsome!!!!! Everyone in a new years mood and the Ravens won so was doubly good... Guess our eagle dad Jim in Cali will be getting ready for New Years shortly (3 hours difference) May this new year bring all of us good health... wealth (win the lottery) lots of lovin n huggin n kissin and most of all eagle babies to watch grow and love. God Bless each one for your kindness and friendship from each one when i was in the hospitol and home also. Hope everyone is eating pork .. saurkraut..mashed tators and dumplins and green peas for good luck my great granny always told me that.. Niters
Good Morning everyone. Its 2007!!! You knew that BUT the key is to remember it the first time to write out a check or anything else that the date is kind of important!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful New years day. I love the Rose Bowl Parade, so that is in my plans for today. Then off to work this afternoon and evening.
Good Morning - Grateful to see 2007! Hi There Early Birds: Glo, Sharon, Norma and Paula! Hail Hail the gangs all here - Hopefully Nilla & Mits & others will join in today. I am headed towards Baltimore for family lunch. I missed the eagles but ButaButa is squirming and Ho Ho! Just turned on DC pandas and saw Mei sitting eating her bamboo by a tree that had 2 little black furry legs visible! Then Plop! Down came Tai on his butt(pretty good distance for a fall). Mei reached over & loved him!
Buta is getting some lovin from Lun - what a cute picture :) Now she's giving her girl a bath and she's squirmin - typical kid! Love it!
Good to see our eagles were in the nest for quite awhile this morning - they're getting ready to settle in :)
Tai is up to his usual tricks this morning it sounds like :)
Jo and Norma getting to spend time with family :)
Glo gonna waytc hte parade :) then more work - hope it is a fun work time
Nilla had quite a good time last night from the sounds of it - driving down to IH last night and then home again in the icky rain - but sounds like it was worth it :)
fog is rolling in around our nest... looks so neat!
Buta is working hard to try to get those hind legs underneath her - she is so adorable - there's just such a long way from front to back it is hard to get it all coordinated!
Jo did you see Buta? She had all 4 under her and was just sitting there like - ok now what? either that or she wasn't going to budge in case the legs would flop away again - then there were shadows from the other den area -not sure if it was mom wandering around or a trainer - but she startled and the legs flew out from under....
Little typist let me sleep till 7 :). Then he had waffles and fruit for breakfast...watched me fix my hair and get dressed....watched Dora the Explorer...then Mom & Dad arrived...so I am now at work.
Had a nice time 4 of us at home here (always stay home New Years). I love to see Dick Clark and Time Square. Had a wonderful feast of shrimp and foods. Played penny annie poker. Later feasted on cubes of different meats and cheeses. A small (for me on meds) glass of wine to enjoy. Then played "spades card game" until time for the ball in Time Square. 2006 was the last year incase some didn't know for the ball in Time Square. New developments for 2007 in Time Square more to be revealed Dec. 31, 2007.
Today 2007 I am watching the Tournament of Rose Parade. Such beautiful flowers on the floats. No hang overs in our group. ( :
Well I won't get upset if I publish this and "pink kitten isn't back yet". Maybe if she isn't there she took a walk around the community. lol She'll come back on I'm sure of it. ( :
Hi Dana - sounds like you had a wonderful New Year's Eve! Yepper your pink kitty is back with her nice warm belly. Animal Crossing is a video game - these little cartoon like animals run around the town that you set up and you talk to them and buy clothes and go fishing and build snowmen in winter and catch bugs and dig for fossils and plant flowers and trees and harvest fruit... You can visit other people's towns - it is really cute and semi-addicting. The time goes along in 'real' time, so when playing last night the mayor (a tortise named Tortimer) was getting ready for the big count down and handing out party poppers. There's a dog who plays music and you can get songs from him to put on your music players in your houses - oh yeah - you have to pay mortgage, so selling the fish and fruit can keep you busy, not to mention buying the tools and all the furniture and wallpaper and flooring for your house...
