Here's an update on the cams. Good news and less than good news.
First the good--the transition work is complete and the still cam is online.
now the less than good--the video feed was on yesterday. That was only a test. As I mentioned earlier, the video feed will start full time after the first of the year. Sorry. I got pretty excited too when the cam was up yesterday.

Hi all, noticed FLA cam says it is down due to inclement weather, bummer just as she is getting settled in the nest...did see both mom and dad this a.m., he brought her breakfast and saw some beautiful incomings and outgoings in the snow this a.m. at Maine.

Was great today seeing Liberty & Belle. I am anxious to see a lot more of them so that we can learn to know them better.
Day at the zoo was chilly......we had to practice our presetations outside, mine was on the clouded leopards....little buggers would not come out...so I did the best I could without them.
SO so Mits having alittle pain down there in my groin. Did ya see Tai today? The video of Buta Buta's exam on ajc is so much better that Atlanta Zoo.
Would have been great if Sharon's parade had come down the main street that is shown on the Jefferson cam. Not much traffic on it!
Tai is just too cute, I got to see him twice today, once when we were on the trail practicing, and, when I was leaving he was in a tree real close to wear he goes into the den, and, when he heard the door open he ran down the tree, and greeted the keeper, he really has a great personality for a panda cub.
Jo Howdy Ho ..... Those clouded leopards are so pretty Mits. But those lil red pandas are adorable , cant say much for the sloth bears and i read where they smell bad. That night leaving the baby n mom was right by the window and mom tryed to get Aalehia's back pack ... I am hoping i feel good in the morning and make it over to buy one of Megans wreaths...

I sure hope Sharon bundled up to go to the parade. I told her to cover her nose n mouth, she should not be breathing that cold air. I am sure she thinks i am an ol mother hen and she is right...lol
Think Sharon was going to sit in her car close to parade, she usually walks with the band.
Well i was going to give myself a Christmas Present and join Curves For Women, but daughter says they closed around here. I should have went to that cardiac exercise class they offered me. Jo you went to that didnt you? I know Ken went several times aweek over in Charlestown but they also closed that to the patients of heart problems.
Well, we have been home a little while. It was so cold. I did wear a long coat, gloves and a scarf except the scarf fell off and I felt like my face, forehead, ears and hands were going to freeze off. Those poor kids in that band were really frozen. They marched 1.1 miles. Andrew's toboggan was frozen to his head. Way too cold for them to do that but they made it. The parade was short but of course the band sounded wonderful.
Mattie is with me again tonight. I think she would move in with me if we would let her. :):):) She is such a special little girl.
I hope everybody is having a wonderful evening. I will let you be a mother hen to me anytime, Nilla. I need a keeper sometimes. Have a hard time making decisions sometimes, at least ones to keep me healthy! :):):)
I think Jo went to pulmonary rehab but I think cardiac rehab would be a wonderful thing for you to do, Nilla.

Awww Sharon how sweet, ya know what the happiest time with good memories is when my kids were little and had colds i would grease them up with Vicks and put a tee shirt on them.. Heck my son is going on 27 and when he has a cold i still grease him up.. And if he is sick soft boiled eggs & toast ( he calls it eggs in a bowl)

Went to dinner tonight w/ eldest son and his SO, plus my one and only grandson, Cohen. Went to Red Lobster in Frederick. Got to bring home lots of yummy leftovers, cause it was too much to eat. Sitting here feeling way too full, but too cold to go out and walk the dogs! They are on their own in the backyard tonight. Hard to believe my eldest is 25...and grandson is 1. Time really does fly....look we already at the beginning of a whole new season!

Nilla they played a second round of spades (cards) to 100 which took till 11pm. Not doing that again. It throws me off. My covers was everywhere except on me lol. Which means YES I had a very restless night. So it's going to hit me where I will be napping sometime today gal.

It's ashame that they didn't have a higher limb to put the other cam on in Florida to see down into the nest. Well that's what weather and winds can do to trees. Break off branches and limbs. Otherwise we would be looking down into Florida's nest watching.

Cam is working great this morning, where's Nilla We need her to sing so they will head for the nest, it worked the first time LOL.

Speaking of trees rumor has it there are about 30 eagles in the trees over by the 28- bridge. I will be heading that way with my cam, once I talk to my kids today. Hopefully can get a picture or two. No place to park close over there though so not for sure how I will make out. .I am excited though. Think the cold and snow coming a little early this year, brought them on down!!!
