Good morning all my eagle friends.
Glo, lots of prayers will be going up for Eric's dad, Jim. You just never know what life is going to hand you on any given day. We don't realize how fortunate we are until we hear of someone like this.
To Nilla's post on the last page about the family lost in a fire. On November 20, 1980, my sister's 2 children, her best friend and her best friend's little girl all perished in a trailer fire. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with this family. I have to keep in mind that everything happens for a reason, sometimes we never know what the reason is but there is a reason. God bless them all! Don't mean to put the blog on a downer but just wanted to share that.

Glo I said it on the other blog. Yes I will keep Eric's dad Jim in prayer. May Angels Watch Over Him and guide the doctors mine and hands.
Sharon God does allow things we sometimes understand. Then there are those happenings that just have no explanation. Yet "God is still in charge".

I was suprised to see that story on our DC channels, so very sad, my mind cannot wrap around why this would happen and why bad things happen to good people. I know that must have been a devasting loss for your family, Sharon.
Poor Ed he wants to know what I want for Christmas. He doesn't like any of my answers. So I have to figure out things for him to get me that I know he wants to get me. Does this make sense to you all??? It sure doesn't to me lol...

This is so funny I have Maine up no eagles, but crows are calling to one another. On the BW Osprey cam is a fishcrow lol .... yep I can say I heard it calling. lol lol
Sharon you mentioned Mattie stays with you sometimes. She is a child of your sisters?

Oh I know Suzanne the old monitor was not LCD screen but flat it was 17 inch oh I got to see alot more. This new computer I brought off of Ed's cousin has an LCD screen that is 15inch. I thought this was my Christmas present but he says no! I told him this is too..He has final answer which is no, but I can't spend too much because this cost us at a time that wasn't convient. So have to watch the money...
OOPPPSsss just got call from doctors office changing my appt. today from 2:40pm to 11:30 this morning have to get my butt off the cams and eat and get ready.
I'll be in and out till time to go.
Mattie is actually my great-niece (and she really is great too). She called me at midnight and again at 12:40 crying, wanting to come here with me, so I drove down the hill and picked her up. She went right to sleep after she got here. We live like 1/10 of a mile from each other, if that much.
If I had someone asking me what I wanted for Christmas, I would definitely say a 19-inch flat screen monitor. Staples has one on sale for $189, which is quite the deal! Then I wouldn't be juggling that much for space to work through my cameras. :):):)
Mei is eating something and Tai is bugging the crap out of her, crawling on her head and flipping over. What a little boy he is!

They put a box around it so the eagles would stop perching on the actual cam and knock it out of alignment!

Be sure you read the Panda Cub update for yesterday. Buta Buta should be 96 days old today. #100 day is a coming & she'l have an official name which we won't worry about using!

SUZANNE, I think I read on the blog the other day when the eagles are in "our" nest we will just say something like EAGLE ALERT and that means it is NCTC nest, because we watch so many different ones.
All morning nest pic has been clear...eagle comes in and bam...bad pic???

Our new kids this season are still going to be able to hide from us on the edge of the nest around 7 or 8:00 position. Just like before when we can only see some tail feathers - It was most exciting & interesting when we were expecting the fledging to happen.
