I just walked in the house - I must turn around and walk right back out for 5:00 church.
Eight of us showed & had a great time. Jo,Nilla,Sandra,Carol,Norma,Megan,Beth & Dana. Dana went to the nest before coming and will give a successful report on her sightings of Liberty & Belle. NIlla was going over afterwards if she had enough time. I will get pictures out as soon as I return from Mass.
Ok Looks like reports on events of the afternoon are about to happen. Sounds like it was a good time for everyone. Wonder if Nilla got a video cam going as well as still etc. MTBR soon LOL

It always takes me awhile to post photos due to creating the captions.
It was so much fun today - lots of laughing! I picked up Sandra at her home in Shepherdstown a little after 12:00 & we went on to the Tavern in order to set up some things. Wait staff of 2 young men was superb and they were very friendly. I warned them when I got there that we would probably be a noisy group - they said that's ok. At 1:30 when all had arrived we ordered and were served shortly thereafter. I enjoyed my lunch (crab cake)as did everyone else. Before we ate, Nilla handed out Christmas cards to all & had marked 2 with XXX on the backs of the cards. Two gifts were presented.
After eating and conversing & before paying our bills - names were drawn from a basket for the door prizes. Everyone went home with a prize.
The most valuable things received at the luncheon were the hugs everyone was giving and receiving!!

Ok most will read this early in the morning it is now alittle after 1am .. What a great time we had today and Jo was right the hugs nlaughter were the best.. BUTTTTTTTTT so was my visit to the nest after wards!!! Yesss i followed Dana n Ed out and there they were setting in the tree Belle on the upper branch where she sat and watched the kids and Liberty on another branch!!!! She was kind of tucked in could not see as well but himmm Ohhhhhh could see him plain as day and his white head just awsome!!! No Glo sorry to say that daughter of mine did charge up the video camerqa like i asked her to Grrrr, Soooo then i drove over to Hagerstown made a quik trip to the cemetary and stopped by up home and then went to BINGO... No didnt win at bingo played the tip jars and won 1 and shared a win with Liz afriend...So then took my stepmom home and sister was waiting we went shopping for awhile,,, I am beat right now going to look at the pictures and head to bed i work at 10am... Cu then , Nilla PS Dana is wore out i bet dont see her on here hope she is ok.. whata doll baby she is...
For anyone thinking of going to the nest it is clearly visable now that the leaves are gone, as you drive down the road and approach the big bend just look straight ahead cant miss it... I know i enjoyed the day, and hope everyone did also. From the pictures you can see that...By the time i arrived that whole fireplace was filled with bags and packages... Now Glo & Vicky give us an idea of when your coming in also please??? Sharon Hugsssss Ok eye balls wont stay open any more Nightersssss.... Jo Santa's Baby???? lol more like nightmare....
Good Morning All. Nest is clear and empty this early in the day LOL. Maybe we need different nest watch hours LOL. Glad your day was fun.
Ya know, you could also rent a 16 passenger Van just a thought. Bring air mattresses and sleeping bags...talk about a PJ party LOL.
Vicky and I will be there when the nest is actively caring for the young uns. I am sure you will get a little headsup, like we won't be leaving til around 6 am in the morning LOL or something like that. OK OK A couple of weeks heads up will be the aim.
Off to coffee and dog treats early and then to work. Will bLOG this evening for a bit hopefully. Should have update on Jim tonight as well.

Good morning to all! So sorry I missed the fun luncheon yesterday! The pics are great! The luminary event was great, though. So beautiful! I think there were some photographers there from the newspapers, so hopefully there are pics in the paper today? I tried to take a few pics with my camera, but haven't looked to see how they turned out.
Morning Jo Oh how i wish you would have went out to the nest after the lunch yesterday Jo and taken Sandra... There Liberty N Belle sat waitng on Dana ED n Me... Just fantastic... I must thank you for helping to bring all of the lunch together with prizes and making it a success... Hope Carol made it home ok and Norma... I'll start by saying good morning eagle friends and lurker friends.
As you've heard on my way to the luncheon Ed driving me there. We stopped my the tree. Glad I took my bincolars with me. There the nest was I good see a white head moving in the nest with just my eyes. Focusing in I could tell it was Belle. I let Ed look at he as I was in amazement. Then Ed said look on the branch. I did one that when I would go down before and call Nilla while cam was up. Sitting right where Spunky always set on a limb was Liberty. Remember we said in the new pics this year Liberty sets at the 12 o'clock position like Spunky set at. Well he learn't both from Dad (:...
We had arrive at 12:32 12:33 binc. looking throught them. Captured Belle in the nest. Watching Belle she rasied up out of that nest around 12:47-12:50? on time and flew out of the nest. I thought well I'm not going to get to see her fly because she flew out same way Spunky and them would. But she circled and came back right towards us..I think she knew the momsters was here and a show of spectulor beauty in close up flying skills and her color and wingspan. Yes I called Nilla knowing she was already with Jo and Sandra atleast and blubbered like a child. She circled and even came back I didn't think she would.
Ed was floored. He said first time he ever seen an Eagle flying and so close. All this time Liberty stay on the limb so maybe she was really flirting with him lol.
Then off to my right she went and high and higher their were clouds and it looked like she just flew right into them honestly.
Luncheon info later whew I'm done in again. Wow I felt so honored for Belle to have given me such a grand gift of a memory that plays over and over in my mind.

i was wnderin if any body else was alive out there today.... Hey Jim well best they work out the kinks in the cam now ratehr than later. Sometimes if you refresh you can tell the nest was empty.. But i SEEN them both yesterday Jim and let me tell ya it makes your heart just leap!!! Dana you doin ok after yesterdays get together?? Or over do it???

Fox news is showing a mountain rescue out on Mt Hood,Oregon climbers been in a ice cave for awhile now...They have been missing now for 8 days now...Waiting on the word the searchers have went into the cave to find them...
Sure hope and pray for those climbers --

Hey Vicky they got into the cave but it was empty... But these are very experianced climbers so make they have dugg another cave... Its getting dark up there now , and very dangerous for the helicopter's

Looks like maybe I got the only . perfectly clear picture of the nest early this morning before I left for work. I think I iwll put it in the Feed Blitz tonight as we seem to have a shortage of clear pictures form our cam for a few days now.

Howdyyy well i came home from work and took a nap 3 hour nap..lol Oh my Thelma i had not heard they found 1 of the climbers.. sad.. was so lonely here today.. sniff Woke up starvin and threw some Tereyake' Chicken wings in the microwave... BRB cant eat n type eating them..lol
It has been over 10 days, it will be a miracle if they find the other 2 alive, just have to pray for their families. JO you have wax....THANKS FOR SENDING AROUND THE INFO ON THE FLORIDA AND KENT CAMS.

Jim is home with visiting nurse and IV, currently he is unable to move his right arm, and he is right handed. They are pumping him full of antibiotics 3 different ones, and hoping to have gooten all of the infection, but making sure. next step will be physical therapy once he is strong enough. still has the feeding tube in as well. He and his wife know how to care for that as he has had one of those before too. No biopsy reports yet, we are expecting those Mon or Tues. That's about all I know but overall he is maintaining and working on gaining more strength and finishing thse IV antibiotics. Asking for continued prayers to get his strength back and a good biopsy report.
I'm sure Jim is happy to be home, will keep him in my prayers.

Tai Shan is up and eating bamboo what a lil devil he is, Mei is sleeping in the lil room on the big box... So cute there under the night light eating laying on his back adorable.. Ut Oh got a scratch....He is back in the hole now wow someone is manning the cam at this time of night hope all is ok
Looks like our baby boy Tai is growing up and learning to really handle that bamboo Thelma.. Mei moved over to sleeping over the cubby hole
Talk about bargins i bought my grandaughter Rosa a beautiful cross necklace last night at Kohl's (SP) was 75.00 and got 75% off and paid less than $20.00 for it... But the chain is so fine and her hair is very long i hope it doesnt get all tangled up... Well local news os coming on and going to watch some tv ... Tai still eating bamboo... wonder if he want to nurse after eating .. poor Mei just wait n see... I am really getting good at talking to myself here practiced all day...
