Well, as I expected, Steve got a scolding from the DR for getting ahead of himself without discussing with the Dr first. Much of the heel is healing but there are 2 areas where it hasn't completed healing yet. Was it doing too much too soon? was it the 3 weeks he was smoking again? No way to know for sure. He HAS been given permission to drive and use the cane OFICIALLY now. And he has to go back in 6 weeks. If he had a desk job, he could go back to work. He isn't allowed to stay up for too long or too far although he is to increase activity a little every day as tolerated. No carrying things while walking, no walking without cane and shoes, no stairs, no ladders, no uneven surfaces....etc., and he is still to do his exercises.
The wrist IS completely healed though! But no lifting anything over 10lbs until next visit in 6 weeks
Thanks to JUDYE for the call over. Congrats on your feather, JUDY!
LYNNE2, Great news about Steve! Glad he's healing so well and fast.
I am just a math lame brain...I upped my tutoring sessions to two per week today, so I'll have another one tomorrow. It's factoring and proportions, and that lovely algebra that are killing me!
I still wonder why we can't see the ground like we could before I remember when the cam was first set up we could and I thought I saw a deer remember? and now it is always fuzzy looking
I Went to the park at lunch and saw just one adult didn't drive to the otherside of the tower to see if the juvies were visible When I went and picked up my laptop and camera from Angies at lunch
I see the whole family is spending some time together at the nest - how sweet!
Thanks Steve for a new thread and Judy for the call over!
Lynne2, good news (for the most part) on Steve's recuperation! Slow and steady!
Lynne1, prayers for your cousin and her family. Losing a daughter who was only 47 - boy, that's hard!
Maria, if you go back to the last thread, very close to the end of it, Margy posted the link to that kestral cam for you and anyone else interested.
Jerry, hope your mother-in-law's skin cancer surgery went smoothly. I agree that, if it was very worrisome for the dermatologist, he probably wouldn't have removed it in the office.
I wonder how much those 2 big fish weigh (guess i should say weighed for the one that's pretty much hollowed out now)?? I think I've read that an eagle can carry 4-5 pounds. Those fish look like they must weigh at least that much!!
but the pictures that I posted of the nest aren't on my feed I wonder why it disappears after a while they are on my profile but not news feed ODD maybe they are screwing with it always tweeking it
Flippin fish is it? or was it floppin? Hilarious posts! You all think I have problems with the herbed up brownies and see through pants??? LOL!!! The flippin and floppin fish posts were fun to read.
Don't worry I wear Marino wool clothing for late autumn/winter/ early spring yoga and Bamboo and cotton clothing for late spring/summer/ early autumn yoga. It is so funny as I do not even wear those strap tank tops for yoga and it has to have at least a quarter sleeve for me to wear it... See through yoga pants??? I am afraid I would not be able to do any yoga in them or if others showed up wearing them. I would be cracking up laughing and that would be that for yoga...
I have been watching all the fish deliveries to the nest today. The first whooper that came in - I would have loved to witnessed that being brought in - so large!
Had afternoon dr appointment and need to go back in June for blood work.
Tomorrow I will travel to Cumberland (if not snowing) for a viewing of my sister-in-laws dad. He was 93 yrs of age.
DANA your twitter account has been hacked. I got a personal message from you today telling me about a diet that a Dr.Oz and Oprah are recommending. Change your password. I think the same happened on FB earlier? Was it you? I am sure it was your account!!!
Evening Eaglebuds! Looks like a fish fest in the nest!! Glad somebody had a good day fishing. They should stay pretty fresh w/our low temps, but I don't think they care! I've got to boil more cabbage to have w/the end of the corned beef leftovers.
OK JUDYE be very careful with synthetic Vitamin K. K-3 in particular. Do not overdose on it as it could have adverse side effects with oxidation. I get my vitamin K from foods like leafy greens, brocoli, asperagus, brussles sprouts, cucumber, cabage, chili powder, scallions, ... If you are taking vitamin K and any kind of prescription drugs make sure that they don't work against each other... Is it K-3 that you purchased?
Oh JUDYE and you might as well move to Nelson as Herbs are also a good source of vitamin K!!! LOL!!! Kiddin' only the legal herbs are good for Vitamin K!!!
got a story to tell you made me laugh and Angie said to share with your all Her brave husband LOL
Angie and Jordyn left this am to go to work and Carl was in the shower when he comes out of the bathroom to the bedroom he here's "excuse me sir" repeated about 3 times Carl said his heart stopped and on the 4th time excuse me sir have you seen my bird and he realized it was the TV on He said he almost had a heart attack
Just saw your question HODA It is K2 45mcg with Vit D3 in it That is the only vit k we sell I don't take any other meds at all I am lucky on that part I guess Thanks for the concern says once and day with food I will call my GYN dr and run it by her before I open them and start taking
I FINALLY got home from work a bit ago and turned puter on in time to catch evening feed.
WOW! successful fishing today for sure. ♥ it.
LYNNE2, glad you are starting to feel a little better and it sounds like you are giving good report on Steve, though I don't know the history.
I saw a wanted sign for the groundhog. I think there is a reward. To snow here tonight, but i don;t think it will amount to much.
I am really tired tonight and need to be up at 5 am, so will say G/Night to all now in case i don't get back. Just found out grankids are coming this weekend (fron Philly).
So need to stock my own pantry for the weekend. Don't think they would appreciate the same stock as Hedgie and Shamrock have though...and besides, I haven't fished in years. SED to all ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ
funny on FB Eagleholic page they posted a video and made a comment that the eagles lifting power is about 4 lb we were just talking about that today The video is of the intruder at the nest and they also have a pic of Liberty and the intruder in a tree the intruder has a white spot on it back
Oh I forgot to tell you that the Canadian Government approved me for my Canada Pension and now it is two pensions I will get from them and they are considering me for a third. I do not think I am elgible for the third pension from them. Happy Happy Dance.
The Bible is on the History Channel Judy...Sunday nights from 8- 10 but it also runs 2 or 3 other times during the week as well. There are 2 more Sundays left.
Lynne2 read your update on Steve... He has been a whirling dervish an now he has back it down a few cranks, but mostly all seems mighty fine! Bravo....must be all that good mother henning he has gotten thus far... and home health nursing ! xo ♥
thanks Paula and Sandi for helping out with the kestrel cam for Maria... I got too busy and highly distracted watching the nest at work ☺ and had to step away, did not see her request until I got home...
Cool thing about this blog, most questions do not go unanswered for very long!
Lori: I need to send you this Math Dictionary.... I think it would help with some things...maybe you an email your address to me on that.... anything by authors "James and James" has got to be pretty good ☺
Good Night Jo ! It's fun to know that at many times during the 24-hour day, many of us are Nest Sie watching together... ☺ Today was that kind of day !
I have been invited to go skiing tomorrow morning. I will go as I am not sure how much longer we will be able to do so...come April I would think the skiing is only going to be good as high up as Whitewater.
I, too, enjoyed American Idol tonight, Lolly. I thought all were very good with the exception of Lazaro...he is increasingly showing his nervousness. Hope he can pull himself together before he gets booted off...I like him.
JUDIE'S sandman has come and gone and I am now very sleepy. Good night, sending love and prayers♥
I'm thrilled to see the well-stocked larder at the nest!
sUSAn, I love your friend's poem about Spring too.
Prayers and best wishes for Jerry's MIL. Hoping to hear a good report soon.
Have seen some returning bloggers here--welcome back!!
Lynne1, prayers and condolences for your cousin and her family. (Hugs).
Lynne2, hope you're feeling better! Sorry Steve got a scolding, but glad the wrist is healed, and happy for the good Dr. report!
Jo, sorry to hear about your sister-in-law's dad. May he RIP. Happy about your good Dr. report!
Hoda, so glad you're approved for your Canada Pension!
Shirley, congrats on your $3 winnings! Sorry about your cell phone. Ken forgot and left his at work today. What a coincidence!
Well, going to call it a day. My shoulder has been somewhat better today, but every once in a while will complain if I move the wrong way. (Can't wait for my MRI this Sunday!) I've said prayers for everyone, and the porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, with SED. God bless, and goodnight. I love all of you! ♥♥Lynn, your namesake is doing you proud!♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥ I love us!!
Still Cam is also not up and running...at least not right now
I had missed the post about the death of Jo's sister-in-law's 93 year old father....Andy's post brought me back to that... Prayers of Condolences for the family....and Safe Travel Wishes
Quick and chilly good morning ya'll. its 25 degrees. brrrrrrrr. feeling chilly.
not supposed to get warm either ... 43! hang tight, it'll be warm again in a few days...its that time of year in tn. but for today and tonight, cold with snow showers!
the ice rink felt warmer than it did outside yesterday! funny when that happens!
HODA: glad you were approved for the pension!
hard to believe another week almost done. supposed to help chelsea on the soccer/baseball field saturday. chris has to drill (national guard) and with three kids, someone has to tend one at a field. i hope its warmer than it is right now! oh well, i will dress as i do at the ice rink and take my NEW handy dandy insulated thermos with me filled with mint tea!!!!
hugs, light, love and, smiles to all! here's to a beautiful day filled with lots of fish for the babes! :D
Good Morning to all at the Sycamore. Looks like the cam is down this morning.
Margy, I thought of you when I read that poem by Nick, who lives in London. Thanks to all who enjoyed. I thought it was right on spot for our weather here, as well.
MARGY, I will email you my address. Thanks so much for thinking of me with the Math Dictionary. Can't wait to see it!
LYNNE1, so sorry, and sad, to hear about your cousin's daughter. Big Hugs.
SHARON, did you get any info from the doc on the cyst on your kidney?
YAY HODA, on being approved for your pension! Your retirement is set! Very cool. Oh, my test date is April 25, so I have max time to study! I picked the latest date I could.
KAY, Big, first of the morning (((HUGS))) for you! I love you, lady!
Bummer that the cam is down this morning.
LYNNE2, glad you're feeling a little better. You and Steve are both improving! YAY!
Prayers for DANA's Dad, SANDI's Mom, THELMA's BIL, GLO's MIL, Jim's sister Ann Marie, ANDY, JO, and SHARON.
Good morning all. guess there is no nest news for now. All is well and the pantry is stocked. 10 degrees here with accumulating snow for this weekend. hmm Prayers for all. bbl
We had enough snow to cover the lawn and streets last night, but the sun is shining now.
My new fridge came yesterday. It took the guys 3 hours to get the old one out and the new one in. One of the men seemed to be about 100 pounds overweight and wheezed and was short of breath a lot of the time. I was afraid he would collapse on the spot. They had to move furniture and take off the front door to get it inside. These old houses weren't built for today's appliances!
No sound yesterday and no picture today...what's next? Wonder how many fish will be added to the nest today? :) Does anyone know who brought the fish in?
I hope they haven't taken down the cam because they got too many calls about no sound now. We got along with the cam fine for years. I do think a note by the cam about the sounds you hear being distant would have solved all the problems and eliminated all the disappointment now we all BUT especially Steve's Bloggers now fee. I will choose to think for today that it is just a a tech thing and cam will be back on soon.
Oh dear--tried to peek in on our lovely family and the fish buffet form here at work to find the cam down. In withdrawel as I am sure everyone else is :(
Good morning!! Well, what a disappointment to start the day. How will the eagles survive without us monitoring them? :)
Lynne, have been meaning to tell you that we have found a food that Annie loves...catfood with liver! This morn I was watching her out the window. She was coming down the backyard terrace walking on the stepping stones, of course, when she reached the bottom she ran and attacked a leaf on the sidewalk. Great to see the "kitten" in her!!!
Hmm, Glo, I think that taking down the cam would just cause more calls, etc. Looks like there is some kind of technical problem. Just hope they fix it, whatever it is. This is when we really want to see and hear every little thing.
Having trouble with George. He is not feeling well at all.
Was it hyperthyroidism that your vet told you Annie had, Lolly? It seems that that is a possible problem for George, based on his latest blood work.
I think George is 17 now. He has a bladder infection and I am giving him meds for that. Not so much fun poking those pills down his throat.
If I mix the pill into his food, he will not even get near the dish. He knows. So I trimmed his claws (after getting speared a few times) and have been poking them down his throat. The pills don't work with the pill popper I have been using for years.
George usually loves to eat, but not now. Getting the meds without food might be part of the problem he is having now. I keep trying to tempt him. He is supposed to be on prescription foods, but have been giving him some tuna.
Found my phone in my car. It had dropped down between the seats. Had to take house phone out there and call my cell.
Cold out there today. There were a few snowflakes on my car and housetops early today.
Still trying to straighten out the mammogram issue. I hate it when get answered by a machine, then push all the right buttons only to get connected to another machine. Does something to my blood pressure. Have I mentioned this before?? Yes. Sorry. Just frustrated. Have I said I was frustrated before?? Yes.
WOW on the news this AM a semi MAIL truck crashed on I75south bound in to a guard rail then a dump truck crashed in to him and burned the road asphalt is destroyed also will have to be repaved today They are saying the mail truck is full of fliers, ads, etc not regular mail
Stripped bed again. I stripped it last night, too. Much laundry to do. Need to put bed together before he barfs on the foam topper. I would have to throw it away.
So, sorry about George, Shirley. Annie has a growth on the pancreas.Forgot what is is called. We elected to not give her pills as it was changing her relationship with us. She would run from us, would not let us pet her. We chose quality of life over quantity of life. lol That will be three years ago this next summer. She is skinny under all her long hair, her coat is dull, and mats where it never did before, She is deaf and has dementia, BUT she loves to be petted, purrs, is eating up a storm if it is liver and shows at times kitten behavior. Second childhood? 19 in June.
I am off. Going to get street ready and head to Target and Lowes. Need more mulch though Jack claims that Lowes will not let me purchase more mulch. I have used up my lifetime supply. Will look at plants, maybe get some geraniums. I am not ready to plant begonias and impatients. We have a front coming tonight and another this weekend.
Lolly, funny, my Gabby Fatsack will be 19 in July. She's really healthy and, like you said, still plays like a kitten. She went on a jump and run through the house last evening. Silly girl.
Shirley, did you play bridge at Betty's the restaurant?
Played at Bette's house, Susan. We play at a different house each month. Told them about my experience tablecloth-hunting.
First comment was that I can buy another table for less than the price of a cloth. Then one lady said she would make me one. Might have taken her up on that if I had not already bought the poker cloths.
Kathryn's kitty, Lucky, is also just about to turn 19. I will have to post a picture of him. Took a shot of him poised on the back of the recliner. He looks for all the world like he is going to leap onto the dinner table. And I am sure he would if we did not fuss at him.
George is back on my bed. I have covered it with the throw rugs I bought to protect the floor from his accidents. I have never gotten them on the floor, so they are brand new and clean.
WOW have you see the beautiful picture of Elsie and Einstein and their chicks the picture quality is awesome on Facebook they have a fan page if you haven't like it already
Hoping that George will come home with a good report from the Vet this afternoon, Shirley... and that stops throwing up soon, and feels better very soon
JudyE, I've been watching Elsie and Einstein this season. The cam there is beyond amazing and it's just in Thumper's back yard!!! Go figure. Three cams, two on the nest and one deer cam in the yard. E&E are just three days behind us on laying and hatching.
Good Afternoon Eagle Buds ! 2nd day of Spring and only 30° here. Boo Hiss !!!
LORI, you add a touch of sunshine to even the gloomiest of days with your hugs and love ! ♥♥♥
LYNNE1, so sorry for your sad loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your cousins family.
LYNNE2, happy with the Dr's assessment on Steve. Tell that boy to straighten up and fly right, for your sake as well as his !!!!
Oh,dear, it's so distressing to hear that SHIRLEY's George and LOLLY's Annie are suffering the throes of old age. They're lucky cats to have such loving, caring peeps to call their own !
Hope Belle, Shep and the chicks are faring well. Shep has certainly done his part in keeping the pantry full !
I think maybe the cam is off due to construction. Shep had Lowes delivering lumber and supplies for the storage area he's building and didn't want everyone alarmed at the activity at the nest. :-D
Shirley, mega prayers for George! Hope the vet can figure out what's going on with him, and fix it, pronto! Prayers also for Annie, and Lucky. Love all those kitties! Oh--and glad you found your cell phone, Shirley! It's getting to the point where we can hardly function without the durn things. I find that somewhat distressing. Hate to be that dependent on technology, but if it weren't for technology I wouldn't have gotten to know all of you! Guess I'll shut up now. Wouldn't possibly survive without all of you!!
Sure do hope they get our live cam up and running soon! Yikes!
Haven't checked just yet, but is the still cam up and running? Any port in a storm!
Well, need to go get a shower and try to brush my hair. Shoulder is better today, so think I'll take advantage of that while I may.
Will try to get back here tonight. Hope we hear from Shar! I'm really concerned about her.
Good afternoon my eagle friends! Another normal middle school day ("normal" and "middle school" really don't go together but you know what I mean)!
Just an FYI, the cam was working when I logged on this AM at 5:45. Like Jo, the first window I open is the live cam page. Belle was tucked and all was quiet at the nest. The big fish in the middle had been moved a little to the right. But shortly after the page loaded, I got the spinning arrow which I haven't seen in quite a while. When I reloaded the page, it wouldn't come back up.
Just read this on the news (interesting since I'm looking at snow outside my windows right now):
The majority of the United States will experience above-average temperatures over the next three months, said Laura Furgione, deputy director for the National Weather Service (NWS). Her remarks came during the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration's spring climate outlook briefing Thursday morning.
Drought is also expected to continue or worsen in much of the Southwest and central plains, Furgione said during the briefing. About 51 percent of the country is in moderate or worse drought, she added.
Drought, flooding, warmth "We expect it to be drier than normal in much of the West, Rockies and Southwest, including Texas, which is unfortunate since we're looking at continued drought there," Furgione said.
I know what you mean about middle schools. Living with a middle schooler is enough for now. He very grudgingly accompanied me to the vet's office. I told him I needed his help, but he knew that I really do not like to leave him alone and this insults him greatly.
The discussion centered around the fact that throwing one's bookbag and jacket do not convince an adult of a level of maturity capable of staying home alone.
However, the trip home was quite pleasant. That was either because we were headed home or because he had calmed down and become more human, or both. Lord, give me strength.
The vet thinks that George's illness now might be caused by the antibiotic he was taking for the bladder infection. So, George got a shot instead, and I cam stop the pills. And he is to take pepcid.
Yes it will be nice when the cam issues are resolved, could be just about anything... eletronics, just like all the little things WE have problems with computers, phones, vehicles, appliances and so on like that. And oh, yeah, Weather Problems Just will be nice to know the Royal Family is safe and sound and to see their antics again.
Some kind of weather event moving into the area Sunday night into Monday, though it may be mostly WEST of here could be some high winds along with all that. March still has some LION in it but I'd like to see some more LAMB
Boo indeed. I just checked the Weather Channel and we are to get possibly 4-6 inches....Lolly, I'm coming for a visit. If you are unavailable I'll be seeing JudyE. LOL
Well I figured soemthing was up when I looked at the number of comments since I logged off and not so many!!!
Booo Hisssss Booooo booooo boooo! and did I say Hisssssssssssssssssssssss?
Not a good time for the camera to be down.
JO sorry about your sister's MIL...RIP and blessings to the family.
LINDA has not been on for a while but it is tax time so I hope she is doing alright.
ANDY so happy that you are doing better and I hope it continues.
I like to read about the kitten in the dignified cats SHIRLEY and LOLLY own.
LYNNE I notice LOLLY ignored my comment after she posted her flower pictures on FB and sent an email about all what is blooming at her place. I suggested in an email that we have an early spring MOMSTER reunion in HAWKWOOD. Also that it becomes an annual event in Texas.
LYNNE sorry about the four deaths in your MOM'S family in less than a year! That has got to be tough!
Good day skiing and an awesome cranial sacral treatment this afternoon. On my way to yoga in half an hour!
SHIRLEY, great that George's problem can be so easily treated. Anything is better than trying to give a pill to a cat. You can get Pepcid in injections, too. Dalai takes it when her pancreatitis gets bad.
Good Evening - afternoon where you are, HODA! I think a Hawkwood gathering sounds fabulous! Great idea! :)
On fB just now Hi EagleCam fans. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the live feed will be down until further notice. The EagleCam system received a bad power outage early this morning and we have lost communication with the camera. We are working to see if the system can be repaired without major disruptions to the eagles. We'll let you know as soon as the EagleCam is back up and ready for viewing. Thank you No info on still came guess I will go try it.
Have been away for a long time but now hope I can stay in touch while watching the eagle nest. And as luck would have it now, it's not available. Aarrgghh!
Things have been anything but calm at this house for almost a year. We were dealing with numerous health issues, Jim's retirement along with dealing with health insurance, social security and, dare I say, medicare. Why is dealing with the government so difficult and tiring?
With the desktop computer on the "fritz" I need to try catch up with emails, friends, family & foes on the laptop.
Yes, Granny, George is a grey tabby. Very much a rescue cat. He and his litter mates were dumped in a shopping center in Northern Virginia. He went home with Kathryn; she eventually sent him to live with me when he and Lucky did not get along. Of course, he and Lucky are together again now that Kathryn is living with me. They barely tolerate each other.
Must go to pharmacy and pick up his tummy medication. Vet says he should not mind these being put in his food. He is still barfing. Yuck.

thanks Steve, thanks Judy for the call over.
Great poem Susan!

Wishing you the best of luck in you math studies LORI Sleep with the book under your pillow my MOM would say it helps LOL

I agree that, if it was very worrisome for the dermatologist, he probably wouldn't have removed it in the office.
how many inches do you think the fish are??? any guesses ???
I just thought of I think it was KAY last year that made the poem of one fish two fish like Dr Seuss LOL just came to mind
I have not read back but my oh my someone has been doing some fishing judging from STEVE'S picture. Very good to see.
I saw IRIS IN BLOOM today. Under an awning thank God as it is snowing here and also raining and back to snow...it does not know what it wants to do.
HAPPY Spring! So excited.
I will go read back and get back later.
I ♥ US
It is spelled kestrel, and I found some, but I don't know which one Margy is watching.
Aha, Sandi has the scoop.
Lynne2, great news on Steve. Make sure he doesn't over do!
JudyE, at least a foot or more!
Kestrel cam
Facebook must be doing something again ALL MY LIST have disappeared not at all on my news feed
YAY YAY YAY!!! Happy to hear about STEVE LYNNE. Good news and I hope he does not over do it...Healing is good. BRAVO STEVE.
oops spoke too soon now they are back
I wonder how much those 2 big fish weigh (guess i should say weighed for the one that's pretty much hollowed out now)?? I think I've read that an eagle can carry 4-5 pounds. Those fish look like they must weigh at least that much!!
Granny, so sorry about your cousins daughter.
Belle has a bloody beak...any wonder!
but the pictures that I posted of the nest aren't on my feed I wonder why it disappears after a while they are on my profile but not news feed ODD maybe they are screwing with it always tweeking it
Belle is making her move to the fish at the back...Shep gets up and he is outta there!
Look at her nice big yellow feet.
feeding time
Belle is grabbing some dinner first...chicklets are in the cup
Aha, think Hedgie popped her head up...Belle offering food.
They are both being offered food.
They are being good, no wrestling :)
Still amazed at how she holds that tiny piece of fish out for the chicks to eat...so gentle.
Time to get covered up...wish she would move that belly-less fish out of the way.
Dang, I missed the feeding.
Thanks for the play by play, PAULA!
Looks like she covered up the bellyless fish
When Belle was off the cup and I first posted little Hedgie did a poop shoot!!! So cute!!! So SO Cute!!!
sneeze sneeze I am tired of sneezing darn pollen Yeah we got storms coming in that will knock the rest of the pollen out of the trees come on rain
Went back outside and filled another bucket with weeds. So much in bloom, my Columbine is blooming, Wanda,
Lynne, good report on Steve and yes, he needed to be scolded. Want that heel to heal!!!
Thanks Steve for the fresh thread!
LORI when is your exam again?
DANA your twitter account has been hacked. I got a personal message from you today telling me about a diet that a Dr.Oz and Oprah are recommending. Change your password. I think the same happened on FB earlier? Was it you? I am sure it was your account!!!
Are you feeling good about your Dr appointment JO? Going back in June seems alright, no?
belle is up eating herself
feeding the chicks
feeding over I did get a video uploading now
oops I deleted the video darn it
Evening Eaglebuds! Looks like a fish fest in the nest!! Glad somebody had a good day fishing. They should stay pretty fresh w/our low temps, but I don't think they care!
I've got to boil more cabbage to have w/the end of the corned beef leftovers.
Lynne2, Glad to hear hear Steve is coming along well. Tell him to behave or some might come after him w/their eagle canes! LOL
OMG HODA....see through yoga pants, CRACKing up laughing. ROFLMBO!!!!!!
Yes, Lynne, our Hoda is a wild child! Love you, Hoda!
Belle just dragged the big gutless fish to six and is eating.
Night light on.
Little ones are doing the wiggle wiggle dance and Hedgie just climbed over Shamrock to see if she is going to get a bite!!! Belle is feeding!
LOLLY and LYNNE I am laughing!
anybody here take Vit K I got some today to see if it helps
AI is on LM
Just saw your question HODA
It is K2 45mcg with
Vit D3 in it That is the only vit k we sell I don't take any other meds at all I am lucky on that part I guess Thanks for the concern says once and day with food
I will call my GYN dr and run it by her before I open them and start taking
SED to all ᕙ(`▽´)ᕗ
funny on FB Eagleholic page they posted a video and made a comment that the eagles lifting power is about 4 lb we were just talking about that today The video is of the intruder at the nest and they also have a pic of Liberty and the intruder in a tree the intruder has a white spot on it back
I'll be on the nest plane for my HERBS 420 LOL

It has been a very good Nest day! Hope no snow accumulates at the nest after midnight.
SED and AOYP ♥
My prayers too Lynne, so sad, so way too young and too sudden...

Lori: I need to send you this Math Dictionary....
I think it would help with some things...maybe you an email your address to me on that....

She gave the GIFT OF LIFE. Organ Donations. Blessed Be.
LYNNE2: thanks. i had gotten sucked into the tv for a few moments.
Good night ya'll. SED. See you in the a.m.
Good Night Jo !
It's fun to know that at many times during the 24-hour day, many of us are Nest Sie watching together...
☺
Today was that kind of day !
Goodnight Mema Jo! SED AYOP.
I have been invited to go skiing tomorrow morning. I will go as I am not sure how much longer we will be able to do so...come April I would think the skiing is only going to be good as high up as Whitewater.
Lynne, condolences on the loss of your cousin's daughter. Thoughts are with you and the family.
Lynne2, congratulations on Steve's upgrade. Hopefully, he will use caution in the coming days and weeks.
Looks quiet at the nest and so happy to see the fish market is open for business in a big way. Sigh of relief.
The sandperson has begun creeping down the hallway so will soon be on the way to visit each of you. Restful sleep for all.
Nest SIDE that would be
Lynne2:
I hope you are feeling better !
Happy Spring...more or less it
"began" on the East Coast of US at 7:02 am this morning.
As Lynne2 mentioned, pretty much equal hours on daylight and nighttime lengths...
Sandperson was already here
Judie, I had a nap!
Scared him away from here for a few hours at least
Enjoy it while you can,
Hoda!
Best Wishes for a Good Night,
Eagle Pals...
took that nap so I could [try to] get some things accomplished here...
Prayers for All our Many Needs...
God Bless This Nest
and God Bless Us, Every One
xo ♥
Have we heard from SHAR about her tests? I do not remember seeing a post...anyone else...?
have not seen one here, Hoda....
will be watching for that before I actually go to bed....
Good evening my eagle budlets. I see Belle doing the wiggle-wiggle and the pantry is definitely full tonight. I am so grateful for that.
This was on facebook
Eagle hit by train survives
We were just talking about you How are YOU SHARON
BELLE is feeding them again
she is digging in the cup area
wiggle around she goes and now digging on the other side of the cup
odd she is digging on all sides of the cup area and yet she turns again
Wing stretch
she is up and poop shoot
funny the screen shot on the still is of the pOOP shoot will put on facebook and em album
and back down she is
Headlights or lightening at the nest saw a flash of light
BELLE just opened her mouth and pulled her head back
Now she is tucked by the time I ended the last sentence must have been a yawn
Well I am headed off skiing again tomorrow early morning...
I have a cranial sacral treatment at noon and yoga in the evening.
I will log on in between cranial sacral and yoga.
I will sign off now.
Goodnight.
PRAYERS♥
Watched AI tonight. There is a lot of talent this year! Enjoyed it.
I, too, missed Lynne comment concerning her relative. So very sad. (((hugs)))
Good Night Once Again, Eagle Pals...
It's almost Tomorrow here in the Eastern Time Zones

that today was a good day for her...

Back from bridge. To tired to read everything. Gosh, lots of posts since Steve put up the new thread.
Came in second at bridge and won 3 whole dollars.
But I must have left my cell phone at Bette's. Will have to deal with that tomorrow. A bit late to be calling her tonight.
Good night, everyone. SED.
Yes, can not help but admire Lazaro. I really like
Angie and Kree. Wow, such talent!! Wish I could just carry a tune!
Night all! SED!!
Probably work in the yard again tomorrow. We have possibility of rain and not so nice weather headed our way. Pray for rain...it is getting bad.
Good Evening!
♥♥Lynn, your namesake is doing you proud!♥♥
♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥
I love us!!
Wow am I the first one reporting in?
Belle just woke up briefly then tucked back in, wish I could.
Thursday...I hope the day goes quickly.
Good Thursday morning Dana and all my eagle friends!
I was hoping for enough snow here this morning to get a delay - no such luck! Oh well, only 2 days to go!
We were supposed to get a dusting. I was hoping for a delay as well. We didn't get a flake!
Hmmm, I see that Sharon posted last night but said nothing about the cyst on her kidney ... Shar, I hope everything is OK with you!
Prayers for all on the blog, esp. Dana's dad, Lori's dad, and Lynne's cousin and her family.
Make it a great day all!
Update from my former student on Facebook, from around 10pm last night:
Very long day today. But my dad is home and in bed. Thank you everyone for the prayers and continue to pray for my family.
I have lost the live cam page. Got the spinning arrow and now am getting the "currently unavailable" message. Hope it gets fixed quickly!
Good Morning Eagle Pals...
Best Wishes for a Good Day...
Still Cam is also not up and running...at least not right now
I had missed the post about the death of Jo's sister-in-law's 93 year old father....Andy's post brought me back to that...
Prayers of Condolences for the family....and Safe Travel Wishes
Good news about Jake's father, Sandi....Hope that healing and recovery goes well
No live NCTC feed here either,
and no RV Ad either :(
maybe some maintenance at the FWS site in Colorado...at least we have the blog ☺
Susan: I liked the poem very much also! Forgot to say that earlier...
So true....
First FULL Day of Spring today !
See You All Later !
xo ♥
Strange since it was running just fine when I got up this morning. Bummer
Good morning, Early Birds!
LOVE YOU ALL!!!
DANAMO, seems your dusting of snow was sent here to PA instead. You can have it. :)
I can't get the cam up, you all?
We got at LEAST 2 inches of snow last night.
Good morning all. guess there is no nest news for now. All is well and the pantry is stocked. 10 degrees here with accumulating snow for this weekend. hmm Prayers for all. bbl
Thank you all for your condolences. My Mom's side of the family has had 4 deaths this past year, so Maryann's sudden death has hit us hard.
Good morning.
Checked the nest. Advertisement but no live camera.
Hoda, I see you were approved for your pension. Congratulations! Enjoy yoga.
Shirley, hope you retrieve your phone this morning. Your $3 win is good for a sweet treat for yourself. How's George?
Jo, condolences for the family.
Headed to the big school house today. Wishing all as good a day as possible. May the cam return pronto.
GOOD MORNING...
No sound yesterday and no picture today...what's next?
Wonder how many fish will be added to the nest today? :)
Does anyone know who brought the fish in?
I hope they haven't taken down the cam because they got too many calls about no sound now. We got along with the cam fine for years. I do think a note by the cam about the sounds you hear being distant would have solved all the problems and eliminated all the disappointment now we all BUT especially Steve's Bloggers now fee. I will choose to think for today that it is just a a tech thing and cam will be back on soon.
AAERRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! what happened to our camera?
I don't need the sounds, I just want the picture! If you don't want to hear what's going on in the nest (or around it) then mute it!
Good Morning - Cam is still down - disappointing as it is the first thing I check every morning. Hopefully it will be back on today.
No snow here - so the nest should be clear.
Oh dear--tried to peek in on our lovely family and the fish buffet form here at work to find the cam down. In withdrawel as I am sure everyone else is :(
Will check in later..back to work
PS --I saw Eagle Cam posted on OC that the cam must have gotten knocked out overnight and they are looking into it--said to check back later today
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDS
NO CAM what will we do
How can a new cam break already
is it under warranty
Yes.
SHIRLEY so sorry about George hope he improves
WOW on the news this AM a semi MAIL truck crashed on I75south bound in to a guard rail then a dump truck crashed in to him and burned the road asphalt is destroyed also will have to be repaved today They are saying the mail truck is full of fliers, ads, etc not regular mail
Thanks, Judy. Poor George has been through so many medical issues. I have spent a fortune on this kitty, but I love him.
Appointment for George this afternoon. He just barfed on my bed just because I showed him some of his food.
Stripped bed again. I stripped it last night, too. Much laundry to do. Need to put bed together before he barfs on the foam topper. I would have to throw it away.
BBL.
Have a great day!
checking in from work....
Good to know Annie has found some food that she loves!
But very sorry to hear that George is under the weather. Hope the vet finds nothing serious.
Lolly, funny, my Gabby Fatsack will be 19 in July. She's really healthy and, like you said, still plays like a kitten. She went on a jump and run through the house last evening. Silly girl.
Shirley, did you play bridge at Betty's the restaurant?
Still no cam, sniff, sniff
Played at Bette's house, Susan. We play at a different house each month. Told them about my experience tablecloth-hunting.
First comment was that I can buy another table for less than the price of a cloth. Then one lady said she would make me one. Might have taken her up on that if I had not already bought the poker cloths.
hahahahaha
Hey Shirley, how's George doing this afternoon?
Kathryn's kitty, Lucky, is also just about to turn 19. I will have to post a picture of him. Took a shot of him poised on the back of the recliner. He looks for all the world like he is going to leap onto the dinner table. And I am sure he would if we did not fuss at him.
I keep looking for the cam, too.
Hoping that George will come
home with a good report from the Vet this afternoon, Shirley...
and that stops throwing up soon,
and feels better very soon
JudyE, I've been watching Elsie and Einstein this season. The cam there is beyond amazing and it's just in Thumper's back yard!!! Go figure. Three cams, two on the nest and one deer cam in the yard. E&E are just three days behind us on laying and hatching.
Elsie and Einstein's cam is at lotoeagles.com
Love and prayers for all ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I think maybe the cam is off due to construction. Shep had Lowes delivering lumber and supplies for the storage area he's building and didn't want everyone alarmed at the activity at the nest. :-D
He really needs a place to put all these fish he and Belle have brought in... and probably more today!!!
Hi, Everyone,
Shirley, mega prayers for George!
HAGD, everyone. I LOVE us!!!
Drought, flooding, warmth
"We expect it to be drier than normal in much of the West, Rockies and Southwest, including Texas, which is unfortunate since we're looking at continued drought there," Furgione said.
I am SO ready for warm temperatures!!!!
Ready for warmth here, too, Sandi.
Glad to see that you are better today, Andy. May your progress continue.
Okay on that report, Shirley....
both the cat the middle schooler....
how will you deliver the pepsid?
Happy you found the phone.
Have you spent your $3 winnings yet?
Good Late Afternoon, Eagle Pals...
♥
I mean Pepcid, sorry
I think all the cats amongst us here need their own blog, can you imagine what they would talk about ?
Might be very entertaining !
And the dogs too of course !
I'm sure they would all "say" some very nice things about their loving "parents"
Yes it will be nice when the cam issues are resolved, could be
just about anything...
eletronics, just like all the little
things WE have problems with computers, phones, vehicles, appliances and so on like that.
And oh, yeah, Weather Problems
Just will be nice to know the Royal Family is safe and sound and to see their antics again.
Some kind of weather event moving into the area Sunday night into Monday, though it may be mostly
WEST of here
could be some high winds along with all that.
March still has some LION in it but I'd like to see some more
LAMB
Meanwhile, Blakwater Eagle nest has a long skinny fish in it,
could be something called a GAR
or then again it might be a
long skinny stick
Headed out to see how Lorraine is doing at the other nursing home...
hope to find she is zipping up and down the hallways with great vigor
Best Wishes for a Good Evening,
Eagle Pals
RED FRIDAY is just around the corner !
xoxo ♥
Still no cam. I see...
Shirley, glad George's problem can be easily solved. He looks very much like my cat William.......he is a grey tabby==alley cat isn't he?
More snow flakes coming down--lake effect, I guess. Booooooo
On my way to yoga in half an hour!
soemthing? I could not make up that accent if I tried!!! LOL!!!
Make that something would ya???!!!
LOL!!!
Can't believe the cam is still down. What a bummer.
Great idea! :)
Yes, cam was up when I got on this morning and lost it shortly thereafter.
No still cam either. sigh It is what it is I guess. Glad we got to atleast see lots of fish before this happened. We know they have food.
Hello from PA!
More later...
Well I feel as if I have been hit over the head with an iron frying pan!!!
Till further notice?
REALLY???
It was off for six months just a little while ago!!!
I wished STEVE would make a comment so I would be less irritated!!!
Sorry I am disappointed big time! I want to watch Hedgie and Shamrock!
Yuck.
