OH I hope LARRY is well and that the magic of spending time with PAULA will bring him cheer and joy...Cabin Fever can do that to a person...
OK JUDYE the challenge is on!!!LOL!!! We have the 9th and the 7th anyone else cares to wager a date?
Very quiet evening and I will go start my meditation practices. I wrote a few letters since I was last on and I feel happy to connect with long time friends.
What news JUDYE!!! an owl incubating deserted eagle eggs. There is drama in that nest!!! I have to figure out where that nest is???!!! Glad it is not us. Sorry for the others.
The Sandperson asked that I let you know you will need a hot toddy to help you into egglet dreamland tonight as he will be spending the evening with Mema Jo.
The owl incubating the eagle egg is in Sequoyah. Thank you JUDYE for the video. I posted it on JO'S wall.
That is alright JUDIE for the sandperson to make sure JO gets her rest and a goodnight's sleep. I am glad you made that decision...I have not had a hot rum toddy for going on to 40 years!!! MOM BATCHELDER used to prepare them!!!
Feb 6th would be nice. Tomorrow is Sandra's birthday....a Momster from way back...she lives in Shepherdstown. Then a second egg on the 7th, and another on the 9th. How's that for egg diplomacy ?
xo
Sandperson was here and knocked me out for a few hours, Judie.....
Steve has a follow up with the ortho tomorrow....hopefully wrist cast will come off and be replaced by a brace. Anxious to see what the rads of the heel will reveal
Dropping in quickly after dinner, before I have a chance to fall asleep in front of the TV!
Have tried to read back a bit here, but may never get completely caught up. Mighty glad to read that Jo is feeling a bit better! Prayers continue! There are several people whose Birthday I missed! Happy Belated Birthday to little Rebecca, Kay, Linda, Glo, and Zacharooski! Hope I didn't miss any others. Thelma, glad to read good news about your BIL, Jerry! Prayers continue for him, too.
Hoda, Paula, Lolly, and Lynne2, thank you for trying to track me down while I was MIA!
By the way, Lynne & Steve, have you found a new abode yet?
Shirley, I'm glad you're getting somewhere with the insurance company! Our problem is that although there was a surveillance camera in the parking lot where the accident happened, the company will not release a copy of the incident. They also won't allow an employee of theirs to make a statement (in writing or verbally) about what happened, even though he is a witness. They apparently are fearful of being sued. Geez, Ken wasn't even IN the car when the other guy ran into it--he just saw it happening as he was walking back to his car. Thank God our insurance guy is fighting for us!
Think I'm going to call it a night, and veg in front of the TV for a while. Have said prayers for everyone, especially for Jo! Hope you're much better, VERY soon! The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep tight, everyone, with SED! I love all of you! I've missed you, too!!! ♥♥Missing Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Thinking of Carolyn and Christy♥♥ ♥♥Love you, Jo!♥♥ I ♥ us!!!
PAULA did not say LYNNE she just said she is taking LARRY out to supper because he needs cheering up. Could be cabin fever, long winter??? I am not sure. We will have to wait for PAULA to come back and let us know that he is alright.
OH LYNNE!!! but you love your job and they love you and you do such a good job over there!!! I have to sit with what you just wrote. I am sure you will make the best decision possible.
Ms. BOOKWORM: so glad to see you back, but so sorry that you lost such dear friends...and a car accident!!!! (((((HUGS)))))
HODA: hope you continue to feel better. i had one quick touch of equilibrium being out of whack and i sure didn't like it!!!! scared me. the world isn't supposed to spin!!!
LORI: glad your dad is doing better....
and very pleased that our own JO seems to be improving...
holding you all and everyone else, mentioned or not, close in my heart and thoughts.
STRONGHUNTER: the life with pre-teens, eh? miss olivia and i are continually working on her room. i too pick my battles...but one on going one is her putting CLEAN clothes (for example, a jacket she just wore once for 2 hours) in the laundry basket!!!! or, just as bad, tossing it on the floor vice hanging it up....
olivia is growing up, becoming more conscious of her wardrobe.... today her valentine's gift arrived...she picked it out...the newest fad here are these tennis shoes that go up to your KNEE>>>>>> they zip on the inside. she has black ones with hot pink laces.
and next month Chelsea is taking her to the PINK concert. so i took her out tonight to spend some of her money.....went to marshalls and found herself a pair of pink jeans (color jeans are the rage right now) and a cute shirt....and some nail polish....then to target, oh must have some glue on fake nails.....and some new undergarments.....anyway, she spent some of her money. but she did so fairly wisely....got what she wanted and found a couple extra things. always good prices at marshalls...
anyway, home now. it was a nice day. i went and had lunch with my grandson at his school.
the massage school that i graduated from had some students that needed to practice massage and they needed bodies. i can donate my body to massage...lol. so i had a massage this afternoon. it was a nice session and i dozed off.
i came home and started working on my flower bed. its been a work in progress for several years as it is quite large. this year i am adding weed guard fabric and covering it with white marble chips. i am doing a few bags a payday.
it was in the low 60's today, so quite springy. tomorrow is supposed to be the same.
i did manage to get some paperwork done.....although i would have certainly done more if the weather weren't so nice. lol.
everyone have a great evening, sleep well adn i'll see you in the morning. SED
Good for Olivia to know how to smart shop...Good on you JANET.
Head is still spinning but not as much as it was in the morning. I now think instead of saying Happy BIrthday we should wish a Safe Journey as you spin around the sun!!! Hot water and lemon help.
Sounds like Olivia is growing into a fine young lady, Janet. My brain has pretty much gone to sleep already, so I am calling it quits. See you tomorrow.
Sure hope all the Catalina eagles and peoples are OK from the earthquake!
Larry was a little down in the dumps...house hasn't sold...he's thinking about returning to work..not sure whether to work here or at the beach. So we went to dinner, had some good conversation...and spent some ummm..quality time together ☺
Yes hope Catalina folks and eagles are alright. Thank you for checking back in PAULA. Glad LARRY is better...Quality time does that to a person I would say!!! ;) !!!
we have another spring like day on tap. it is 40 degrees outside and heading up to about 60. i think winter forgot us again. its nice, i don't want to complain, but we need some cold again..some continuous cold for a bit.
hope everyone has a super day. thinking of each of you, light and love to all! ((((HUGS)))))
It does feel like a long way off. It worries me because it's a bad time of year for catching all kinds of stuff. My mom thinks maybe dad shouldn't be out in public. I'm not sure we have to go that far. She would have him wear a mask, which he wouldn't do anyway. He is very stubborn.
Oh well...Tomorrow is the big 100 day! Yikes it will be a zoo in my classroom!
Okay trying to drink my "water". I don't know how people drink 6-8 glasses a day. I can hardly do 2! I hate diets but I hate the 10 lbs I have gained since school started! Poosha
Lolly, you mentioned that the teenager who hit you confessed immediately. I wonder if the woman who hit Kathryn didn't think she could take advantage because Kathryn was a teen driver at the time.

The guru got the stove started on her first try. She has the magic. For the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or is it a "I got it loosened for you." We will go with that. LOL
Good morning! Wow weeeee, we slept late! It is dark and gloomy, but no rain. Jack put Annie out around 4, she cried all night once again. Getting into a very bad habit. She is not eating and throwing up a lot. I wonder if she is staying up at night has to do with sleeping so soundly during the day. Since she is deaf, nothing wakes her up!!!
My sewing machine has been repaired and serviced so going to pick it up and then have a doctors appointment...routine.
Uhhhh.....glad you had Quality time with Larry, Paula.☺
When Annie goes outside and we want her in we can not call her. Had you thought of that? Being deaf she can not hear us call. Grrrr! It worries me because she can not hear anything approach.
It's Okay Lolly.... sorry Shep did not stay around longer and that Belle did not join him...
Hi Shirley also !
Lolly, would Annie see any kind of light attraction, or swirling banners? when you wanted her to come in ?? You might get some good suggestions from others here
Whoops! We just have to go looking for her Margy! Lots of places to hide on an acre. She is pretty good about staying on the patio. She curls up on one of the cushioned chairs. If something should bother her, there are things for her to get on.
Lolly, do you have a bell on her so you can hear her if she moves? Kathryn's cat Lucky seems deaf, too. You can walk into a room where he's sleeping and he does not notice until you touch him, but, dang, that cat knows when we are feeding the dogs. He will come right downstairs and beg for his dinner.
I'll bet Annie would respond to the smell of her favorite foods.
He sure didn't stay for long. Wonder where dear Belle is today. I haven't seen her since early this morning.
Hey Margy -- thanks for that note yesterday. I have a "Bird of Songs" book that is very helpful. Great illustrations and a player so you can also hear the bird songs.
I have a prayer request. Chris Barton's (he was Kelsey's bride's man at the wedding) mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is my age. She was hospitalized last week with what they thought was pneumonia and she is on a ventilator now. Chris is the sweetest guy and I so hate to see him and his family going through this.
Here's my BIG SHOUT OUT TO MEMA JO!!!!! I hope you are on the mend and getting better every day. We miss you and love you and hope you can come home SOON!!!!
BELLE is still in the nest now just sitting alll the stick moving is in place I guess LOL there is still one that will trip them at 6 She is picking at her leg now
Good evening folks. See someone in the nest now. Can't get on the live cam today.
My 10 year old Golden Retreiver, Daisy Rose, has me pretty worried. She hasn't been eating well for the last month. I had her to the vet a couple of weeks ago and he did bloodwork that came back fine. Now she won't even touch any dog food and is getting picky with people food too. She is a wonderful dog and was a real joy to my Mom for the last years of her life. I hate to think what may be coming.
rare bird, although probably not rare, you are probably not the only one that runs all that at once to catch everything. Then again, that is why you see most everything that happens and I miss stuff all the time.
I took a couple video at work during lunch today of a robin and a crow taking a bath in the retention pond the robin was a riot to watch I am uploading now and there was a baby squirrel too I took a video off Do squirrels get skin aliments he looked like he had hardly any fur at all skin looked like psoriasis
I wonder I am keeping the cam up as I watch the news I was editing my video I did at the retention pond putting three short video in one and added music .
Now the watching grass grow thingy really kicks in. I guess Dana left a minute too soon and I was fighting chrome and firefox..Oh well, we have our first eggbert.

boy you aren't kidding Hoda....since the 8.0, there have also been, in a short time, a 6.4 and 6.3

Hi Andy!
So sorry that you've lost 2 dear friends. SO sad....
No, we haven't. I'm desperate. We have to get out of here.
I'm beginning to feel that if we cannot find a place near my job, then we might just as well bail altogether and go somewhere NEW.
PAULA did not say LYNNE she just said she is taking LARRY out to supper because he needs cheering up. Could be cabin fever, long winter??? I am not sure. We will have to wait for PAULA to come back and let us know that he is alright.

Good morning~
Was hoping to see eagles in the nest before I get busy.
Paula~ sorry Larry was down in the dumps. I hope you um...made him feel better ;)
Love the video of the owl incubating the eagle egg. I love nature! How cool is that.

Special prayers for Jo this morning that she will be breathing easier today and get back home where she belongs!
Prayers also for Dana's dad as he prepares for his surgery at the end of the month - still seems like a long way off, doesn't it Dana?
Make it a great day all!
I will at least say:
THERE'S SHEP
It does feel like a long way off. It worries me because it's a bad time of year for catching all kinds of stuff. My mom thinks maybe dad shouldn't be out in public. I'm not sure we have to go that far. She would have him wear a mask, which he wouldn't do anyway. He is very stubborn.

Oh, the boy is coming up. Getting socks two minutes early. Wow. Good for him.
Are we going to have a gathering in the spring. I really want to see everyone!
Off to school I go...j
And now,
it is time,
to make this wish:
Dear Sandra,

Excuse me, Margy, for the delay.
Good morning! After my last post my computer shut off. Does it all the time. Must switch to the other laptop.
Shep at the nest.
And poof!!
Glad you got the stove going, T=Bird.
Glad you got the stove going, T=Bird.
Shep poofed!
Excuse the double post.
It's Okay Lolly....
sorry Shep did not stay around
longer and that
Belle did not join him...
Hi Shirley also !
Lolly, would Annie see any kind of
light attraction, or swirling banners? when you wanted
her to come in ??
You might get some good
suggestions from others here
Now Lolly is going to poof, too!
Hello and good bye, Shirley!☺
sound has just "disappeared" for me, strange term for sound
Whoops! We just have to go looking for her Margy! Lots of places to hide on an acre. She is pretty good about staying on the patio. She curls up on one of the cushioned chairs. If something should bother her, there are things for her to get on.
never mind,
the wind just stopped and that fooled me
I hear Red-Bellied woodpecker out
there somewhere
Me Poof Also Now
Lolly, do you have a bell on her so you can hear her if she moves? Kathryn's cat Lucky seems deaf, too. You can walk into a room where he's sleeping and he does not notice until you touch him, but, dang, that cat knows when we are feeding the dogs. He will come right downstairs and beg for his dinner.
I'll bet Annie would respond to the smell of her favorite foods.
Shep is in the nest with a tree. :)
He sure didn't stay for long. Wonder where dear Belle is today. I haven't seen her since early this morning.
Hey Margy -- thanks for that note yesterday. I have a "Bird of Songs" book that is very helpful. Great illustrations and a player so you can also hear the bird songs.
ooops, it's called Bird Songs
I have a prayer request. Chris Barton's (he was Kelsey's bride's man at the wedding) mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She is my age. She was hospitalized last week with what they thought was pneumonia and she is on a ventilator now. Chris is the sweetest guy and I so hate to see him and his family going through this.
Both eagles in the nest
They wrestled that big stick around, and it ended up with Shep putting it right over the egg cup. arrghh
Ohhhh, then they both flew off
Here's my BIG SHOUT OUT TO MEMA JO!!!!!
I hope you are on the mend and
getting better every day.
We miss you and love you and hope

Good evening folks. See someone in the nest now. Can't get on the live cam today.
My 10 year old Golden Retreiver, Daisy Rose, has me pretty worried. She hasn't been eating well for the last month. I had her to the vet a couple of weeks ago and he did bloodwork that came back fine. Now she won't even touch any dog food and is getting picky with people food too.
She is a wonderful dog and was a real joy to my Mom for the last years of her life. I hate to think what may be coming.
she is now picking at egg cup
LYNNE GB so sorry about the dog
did you try google chrome that is the only way I can view it not on IE
Here is hoping for some new life at our nest soon.
Finally I get to see Belle. Now if she would just lay a darn egg.

No I don't use the still cam
and I don't have video running.
YOu are an original bird JudyE.
I always have the still up to grab pic and the snip tool also I like the still cause it gives the date and time
rare bird, although probably not rare, you are probably not the only one that runs all that at once to catch everything.
Then again, that is why you see most everything that happens and I miss stuff all the time.
She looks comfy
I took a couple video at work during lunch today of a robin and a crow taking a bath in the retention pond the robin was a riot to watch I am uploading now and there was a baby squirrel too I took a video off Do squirrels get skin aliments he looked like he had hardly any fur at all skin looked like psoriasis
I will take that as a compliment DANAMO
I can only watch so long and then I get bored. Like now...I'm close to leaving for the night :)
It was...and said with great love Judy.
I have ADD! LOL I always say that's why I teach kinder. My attention span matches theirs!
She's chirping...
Is she going to lay an egg??????
I wonder I am keeping the cam up as I watch the news I was editing my video I did at the retention pond putting three short video in one and added music .
She looks like she is puffed out sort of
maybe today is the day
This is like watching grass grow....
Did you hear her chirping?
