I am finally warm. Went out in the yard for a while, sat on the ground and dug up dandilions. Think I just got too chilled. LOL It seems I get colder on days like this than when it is really cold. Presently 48.
LOL, those are our neighbor's goats, got loose and liked what they saw in our woods; wild animal food, forsythia bush and some evergreens. Baaad, baaad!
Forgot to tell who is in the photos with Baby Brandon. Beside Gene's right, is my wonderful Dad and the other photo, along with Denise, is her ex Lenny. Yes Margy, she did look beautiful, for someone who had been through 2 weeks of bed confinement and medication to keep her from going into labor too soon. She kept him in there for 2 weeks and doctor said that made all the difference in his survival...I love them both so much!
I would really like to see what comes to our stream and ponds. However, we do live in a area with fences around back yards and no wooded area. While sitting out the other night I was wishing to hear an owl. We used to hear them all the time.
Jack is happy. He has his new TV in the study. He is sitting in the new desk chair I gave him for Christmas and watching the STARS. However, I have the fireplace in the den.☺
That must mean YOU have to tend the fire...I don't do well with our fires. If I add a log of or two, the fire usually goes out! Obviously, I was not a girl scout:)
No, actually, Wanda...I call out.."Jack, the fire needs tending" LOL I try to do it when I know it is a good time in the game. He gets very involved watching the STARS.
Sorry, Margy, still don't see anything from Shirley today about Russ keeping Luna or you talking about the globetrotters!!!! Scrolled all the way through this thread. Am I being cheated out of posts???
I didn't mean to disappear but was going through a pile of unread newspapers looking for something about a wrestling fundraiser at the HVFD tonight, didn't finish looking but hadn't found it yet :(
For sure Russ and Rebecca are babysitting or oops Doggy sitting Luna while Shirley, Kathryn, Suzie and Hunter go to see the Globetrotters. I would think they would soon be home.
Hope you caught a few winks on the couch, Lynn. Is your chest tight or is it feeling better.
Just popping in to say hi. SOOOOO happy to have my MIL visiting this weekend!! She has taken very good care of us! And she made a nice B'day dinner for Steve this evening too! Complete with Pineapple Upside Down Cake!
I really feel like I am getting better each day, but still so TIRED. Cough is getting very random...yesterday, almost no coughing. Today, can't seem to stop. On the bright side....I had a cough episode that woke me up around 3 this morning and like Margy.....I HEARD TUNDRA SWANS!!!
I'm heading to bed now. I sure hope Margy, Lynn, Suz and Luna are all doing OK now. Have a good night everyone, prayers for you all!
I am just a wee bit ticked off. Had many left over fence posts. At $4.50 per, definitely being returned. I thought Charlie took them with him to do so (Carolyn has the receipt). But NO-O-O....at 10:30 I saw them under the deck---in an area that is NOT protected from the rain. ARGH! Luckily, what rain we have had wasn't hard enough yet to penetrate the carpet....so as bad as I am feeling and breathing, I was out there moving about 18 5' posts under shelter so they wouldn't get coated with mud. MEN! Thanks for letting me vent.
Shirley posted this on fb "Rus and Rebecca are keeping Luna tonight. Wonder what their cats will think?"
Oh, I know how to tend a fire, Lynn, but why? LOL I am sitting here with the blanket on my lap and my laptop. Easier to call Jack. Shame on me!☺
Laurel just called. Guess we are going back up to Denton tomorrow. She is going to clean at Faye's house and box up what did not sell. We will go up and help and Jack has a door to repair.
Lynn- that is crummy! Daggone it! sorry to read of this, wish somehow I could have helped... I hope sleep is sweet and complete for everyone here...
Suddenly a busy Sunday for Lolly and Jack, never a dull moment!
Wanda loved the pictures and the trail cam... and thank you for the rest of the story and the names for the pictures ☺ ♥ I had thought that was your father next to Gene... okay, Good Night Now Everyone ! xoxo
My typing is getting lousy... A lot of b-days coming up tomorrow and also I need to add my great-grandson - Donavon will be 2 years old also on the 6th! That means that 2 years ago I had my broken leg! The joke was that I had beat my granddaughter by going into the hospital before she went to deliver Donavon! I was never happy about being 1st.
Jo, they are the metal fence posts with the little d0-hickeys running up one side to hook the fence on and then the splayed flange at the bottom that goes in the ground. Pretty green--CLEAN--metal!
Did you see that Lynne mentioned Pineapple Upside Down cake, Jo?????? Ahem....she doesn't know who she's tempting, does she??!!
I won't be far behind, Jo. Just took my neb and my muscle relaxer, too. The new ones are so much better than the old ones---work better plus no morning drowsiness!!

Oops, Jo---thanks!! Happy Belated birthday to BRANDON!!!!! I am sleepy, so I will go before I make any more blunders! Goodnight sweet friends! Prayers for all.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... Lynne, good to see early morning comments from you AND, glad you went back to bed. Keep taking care of yourself, don't push it! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO STEVE:)
Cam in the Sycamore Palace is on close-up mode and makes the eagle look so big (like Belle), but not sure. Have to study both of them with the close-up to tell them apart, from a tail first view:)
Lynne2...I chime in with Costume Lady.. don't push it.

Good Sunday Morning Everyone Soggy out there but Megan will tell us I'm sure that this type of rain is the kind the farmers want. Didn't know that some of you are having 'fluffy' rain. My tulips are pushing through.
Great Jo - reminds me, I sure wish I had planted some last fall! But I did put a lot of my Megan Flower Seeds back down into the soil for some surprises I hope ☺ and have some more to get into the soil before too long also the seeds from Open House last year ! Oops, I forgot that it is Becky's birthday, too. She is Sissy and Sharon's sister and Mattie/Justin's mother. Today would also be the 31st birthday for Sissy and Tom's baby Aaron. Difficult day for them, I'm sure, despite the 30+ years it has been. (((HUGS))) to all.
First sign of spring here----an earthworm! Unfortunately, I must have steppped on it last night when I was coming in from moving the posts. Poor wormy.
Good Morning, Everyone! Before I forget, let me wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SHARON, BECKY, DANELLE, Jo's GGS DONAVON,Wanda's DUSTIN, BRANDON, and to STEVE SOPER!!!
Glo, checked out your video, and really enjoyed it! Thanks!
Lynn, so sorry you had to move the fence posts--hope there are no ill effects from that!
Margy and Lynne, I am so jealous that you got to hear Tundra Swans! WOW!
While out with Emma very early this morning, I heard a Black-crowned Night Heron flying overhead. Spring must nearly be here!
Well, need to go get some stuff done around here. Will check back in later. Have a blessed Sunday, everyone! :o]
Went through that a few years ago with Peter Pan---the only kind I eat! I actually went PB-less for several months until they got production back up and running. Talk about withdrawal!!!
I've always loved peanut butter and J(..elly or ..am), but I've only used the natural stuff like Laura Scudders for many years because it tastes like peanuts and peanut butter and not sugar. Far as I know this type has not been recalled for contamination to date.
By the way, according to my heart doctors, peanuts and peanut butter (the oil, actually) is high in good cholesterol and is good for your heart and arteries.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHARON, BECKY, DANELLE, DONOVAN, DUSTIN, BRANDON, & STEVE S. & anyone else I missed!!☺ Happy Sunday to Everyone! Been reading & reading--comments & more studying of 'puter. They got rid of one of my favorite pic programs, but there is a sort of replacement for Win 7, but kinda tacky!Old disc I have doesn't help--"not compatible!!! If XP wasn't broke, why did they try to fix it?" Maxine venting moment! We had some rain earlier, but don't know about the big bad storm yet. See Belle a nest looked a little damp awhile ago.
I love my peanut butter! I have been up west and now I've returned. Lots of standing water and the creeks are running high So high that my feet are going UP
I find it amazing that the other eagles don't think the baby's are prey! They were completely alone for a 10-15 seconds.....but now two adults in nest. Looks like feeding time.
Wow, Puleston message board says that the Scottish osprey are on the move. In Spain, heading north. Beatrice is who they mentioned. I seriously doubt that Isla will be back.......but am always amazed by these birds, so....here's hoping!
Hi, Gang! We (That includes Hubby, Emma, and me.) just got home. We took Emma to Petco and got her portrait(s) taken professionally! We should get them in about 3 weeks. Turned out really cute! Met 3 mini Australian shepherds while we were there! After that, we went to a dog park in Orange, CA, and Emma actually wore herself out in about 45 minutes! There were about 20 other dogs there, and she had a total blast!! She made friends with a Chihuahua(?)mix, a Westie, a biscuit-colored terrier mix, a smooth fox terrier, an English bulldog puppy named Petula, 3 Shih-tzus, and a Maltese. We plan on taking her there as often as possible. It's completely enclosed with chain-link fencing, lots of big shade trees, grass, and 2 different areas--one for huge dogs, and one for small and medium dogs. It's PERFECT! Actually, Emma made friends with just about every human being who was there, too! She just loved it there. Well, she's just about fallen asleep in Hubby's lap now. Think he could use a little panda nap, too! Just wanted to let you guys know what we've been doing. Took a peek at our nest a minute ago, and oh, my! What a poor, soggy eagle! It must have been raining like crazy back there. Prayers that it won't get cold enough to snow. Oh, Lynn, I hope you didn't get too cold and wet dealing with the trash. Hope you have a warm fire burning! Better go now and keep Hubby and Emma company. Will be back later. :o]
Awww sound slike a ownderful afternoon with Emma I hate to see that S..W word on here fo ranywhere near our nest. Sorry to read our eagle is soggy too. I don't think I will turn on the nest today. I have been home from work about half an hour now. Day passed by quickly. Moderately busy but not crazy. Dex seemed so happy to be there. He feels quite at home there and was right on his job of greeting each mom or kid who comes by the office with a toy. It almost always gets him lots of attention in return. he makes friends very easily indeed.
Got back a little while ago from picking Luna up at Rus and Rebecca's. Cold wind and rain out there. Not fun to be outdoors.
We enjoyed the Globetrotters. It's the third time we've seen them. I remember watching them on television when I was a child. That, as I recall, was the day of Meadowlark Lemon.
Hunter has a third basketball to add to his collection.
Margy, if you can get $25 tickets, that is a bargain. Ours cost $40 each. Pretty good seats, though.
The kitties were very interested in Luna. They stayed close by to watch. There was a little hissing when one thought Luna was too close. They usually make themselves quite scarce when we are there--at least Henry does. He is a shy kitty.
Yes, our trip today means that Kathryn has been up there every day since Tuesday. I think she may see about taking Luna to a local vet for a pressure check tomorrow.

Okay, now as I was watching your video, I decided that you should place "interesting" items in your videos, sorta like snowman cam. LOL

LOL, Lolly, I'll see what I can do:) I've really been hoping to see a coyote, but he must have left this part of the county:(

PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS FOR ALL
Well, both the dog and I are tuckered out. Going to go snuggle under the covers and sleep in tomorrow :)
Gnite, Friends.
Hugs to all ♥
Enjoy your fire, Lolly :)
Sorry, Margy, still don't see anything from Shirley today about Russ keeping Luna or you talking about the globetrotters!!!! Scrolled all the way through this thread. Am I being cheated out of posts???
well Lynn, I didn't see a post about Rus watching Luna either, I scrolled back...though I might have missed it also
The Globetrotters are playing at Shepherd University Tuesday, supposedly there are still tickets for sale at $25, in today's Journal Sports Section
I didn't mean to disappear but was going through a pile of unread newspapers looking for something about a wrestling fundraiser at the HVFD tonight, didn't finish looking but hadn't found it yet :(
Hi and Bye, Judie and Wanda!! Sleep tight, gals.
Margy, time for you to call it a day, isn't it? Or are you off tomorrow???
Glad you got warm, Lolly!! You and Wanda might need lessons in tending a fire----I'm your go-to gal!
For sure Russ and Rebecca are babysitting or oops Doggy sitting Luna while Shirley, Kathryn, Suzie and Hunter go to see the Globetrotters.

Oh, Lynn! I hate the idea that you went out and moved those posts. Just great! Grrrrrr!
Well, y'all, ☺ I am thinking I will do a little reading before heading to the shower.
So happy that Lynne checked in and let us know she is doing better. So happy too that she had her MIL there with them. Sounds like a great lady!
Soooo....nite all! Sweet dreams!
Aha, Lolly! Thank you! I'm NOT losing my mind!!
No, Jo, chest not tight----quite productive!! Thank you, too, for saying it waas on FB!!!
Glad that Lynne popped in to give us an update Happy Birthday Steve
Lynn - I guess maybe that I read Shirley's comment on FB.
Aren't those post pressure treated?
They will still be returnable-right?
Catch your breath and do your nebulizer!
Looked at your videos Wanda - Quite a herd of Goats!
Lynne, sorry I missed you. Happy Birthday to Steve! So glad your MIL is there tending to you!! Please get over this once and for all!! We miss you!
My typing is getting lousy... A lot of b-days coming up tomorrow and also
I need to add my great-grandson -
Donavon will be 2 years old also on the 6th!
That means that 2 years ago I had my broken leg! The joke was that I had beat my granddaughter by going into the hospital before she went to deliver
Donavon!
I sure did read that about Steve's cake
I forgot you have a metal fence - I was thinking treated wood.
I took my muscle relaxer for my neck
I think it wakes me up....
But I am getting tired
I wonder how Anne Marie is doing.
Hope she is well and still traveling!
I am going to sign off - play some
solitaire and then go to bed.
Good Night Friends
I prayed for all of you at Mass tonight
Hugs for all of you ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Happy Birthday to Wanda's Dustin, too!!

Have a great day!
BOTH in nest
belle out, Lib taking over.

Good Soggy Morning! Just up to let the dogs out. Going back to bed for a little while. Feeling pretty good this morning!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHARON!!!!!
Have a blessed Sunday♥
Good lazy Sunday morning.....rain, rain, and more rain.
I slept until almost 8:30!!!
Great article in our paper:
WV Raptor Center
Good morning Eagle Fans!
Lynne2...I chime in with Costume Lady..
don't push it.
It is snowing here in the capitol city but it is also 34 degrees and not due to get colder than that today. No accumulation, except on grass and some on autos. We may have a slight ice problem tomorrow morning.
I would call it a fluffy rain!
Thank you for sharing the raptor article Hedgie.
That must be Lib on the nest.
Good Morning,
and
Happy Birthday Eagle-Eyed Sharon !
and also, Happy Birthday Danelle !
Hope it is a Great Day for you Both, with a Wonderful Year to Follow

Happy to see Lynne posting! And I agree, she has a sweet MIL!
was checking the Puleston site last night
Puleston Message Board
some very intersting links on there, including lots of Osprey News! Check out "Kentucky Trouble" - a Great Horned Owl pair seems to have taken over the Osprey nest...with two eggs...
also Dunedin, Fla (maybe first egg?) and the South Carolina Osprey nest is seeing some action
Raining at CRC as well, sure would like to see them feeding the eaglet.
Lib looks kinda wet :)
oh thanks Paula, Donovan !
Big Birthday for one of Jo's many precious great grands !
Thanks, Margy. Haven't checked Puleston in a month or so. They have all their archives from past seasons online, but I haven't checked them out.
Also, I think Dunedin got a new cam.
I hadn't check it for awhile either Paula...it is always full of some really neat information, links and pictures, videos, articles
Hope everyone works their aches and pains out in a hurry!
And that all illnesses start to transform into wellnesses ♥
Great article, Lynn. Very informative. Book is the guy I posted about earlier, with the eagle named Thunder that lives in his home.
From BWO
03/06/11:

Lynn, thanks for the Raptor Center link,

Will have to check out that Puleston site, Margy....haven't looked at it in forever.
Happy Birthday to Danelle.....even tho' I only know WHO she is! HAve never had the pleaseure of meeting or "chatting" with her.
BEagle, we are supposed to get non-accumulating snow tonight into morning.....please just keep it in the capital!!!
I also have not had the pleasure of meeting or knowing Danelle, but surely know how important she has been to our Sandra ♥
Hope to meet her someday, and that sweet little baby boy Jayden!
CRC cam having trouble updating properly in the rain...
Good Sunday Morning Everyone
Soggy out there but Megan will tell us I'm sure that this type of rain is the kind the farmers want. Didn't know that some of you are having 'fluffy' rain. My tulips are pushing through.
Good morning and a Very Happy Happy Birthday to Sharon!
Just taking a quick peek in, we are getting ready to head to Laurel's.
Have a great day....I'll see ya later!
Oh, and it was fantastic to see those posts by Lynne! She was sounding good! Yea!
Lots of Birthday Wishes for yesterday
Happy birthday Brandon and
Steve Soper
Great Jo - reminds me, I sure wish I had planted some last fall!
But I did put a lot of my Megan Flower Seeds back down into the soil for some surprises I hope ☺

And the mini-daffodil plant is pushing through the soil ☺
♫Happy Birthday♫ to the birthday people!
three plotzed out eaglets at BWE and one eagle at the BWO platform
Affect or effect?
Capitol or capital?
I will try to keep the snow here!

I am baaaack! Pulling a Margy!
Seeing all the talk of Osprey made me think of that restaurant in Maine that had an Osprey nest in the parking lot with a cam. I am going to have to do some searching. Surely I bookmarked it! Hmmmmm????
Glo:
Best wishes for YOUR glorious day at the Shelter with the kids and their placemat action, and with Dex
Happy Happy Birthday Sharon
Happy Happy Birthday Becky
Happy Birthday Danelle
Wishing each and every one of you
a fabulous year ahead
Little Love of my life, Donavon - You have had a great 2 years filled with love
Lib looks a little wet. He is rolling the eggs.
Egg roll! This zoomed in view is great for seeing the eggs! Will be even better when we have chicks.
Now he is facing the cam.
The zoom is very nice I agree.

BEagle, the Outdoor site is on universal time...you have to create an account and sign in, and update your time preferences to see EST displayed on the posts
Savannh really tenting.
Lib is getting a break from the rain...no tenting.
I've only been able to check on the Jordan lake eaglets on Sundays....boy are they big. So pretty with their feathers :)
I think I understand now, Paula. Thanks.
BIG yellow feeties at Jordan lake
Please DON'T FORGET to vote for Mai Ying by MN tonight. Final opportunity for this round. I think we are assured of progressing to the next, so will keep you posted!!
VOTE MAI YING
Scroll down to the Fetching Group!
Eagles at Channel Islands are rolling at the same time.
It would be so nice to see the PH nest.
The eagle on the Duke nest looks really wet!
I just voted for Mai.
The Jordon chicks are very beautiful with those dark feathers a bright orange feeties.
....dark feathers AND bright orange feeties!
First sign of spring here----an earthworm! Unfortunately, I must have steppped on it last night when I was coming in from moving the posts. Poor wormy.
BWE chick in view. You can always see three plump bodies, but not always three fuzzy heads!
The male just arrived at Duke and tickled the female on the back for her to get up and GET MOVING! Cute.
Now for some wiggle.
Got to see two eggs.
I see an errant feather on Lib's back.
If interested, they are zooming in on the eagle on the Decorah nest.
You can see all the Bald Eagle details.

Looked at their pics from 6:10 last night...sure looks like 2 chicklets for Savannah and Derek!
Thanks BEagle!! Extreme closeup is awesome!

Egg roll our nest
Poor wet Belle is looking a bit disheveled!
LOL, BEagle....we recently had the effect/affect discussion.
As for capital vs capitol. CapitAl is a city. CapitOl is a building!
And here is a good tutorial for affect/effect:
A vs. E
I see what looks like 2 chicks at CRC
Wish that page would load all the way to the bottom :(
Going to head out to see that Great Niece that was recently born ( :
ALERT SKIPPY PEANUT BUTTER USERS: RECALL!!!!
Recall
Went through that a few years ago with Peter Pan---the only kind I eat! I actually went PB-less for several months until they got production back up and running. Talk about withdrawal!!!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
GooD MorniNG, aLL.

It is very irksome when the CRC cam doesn't load. Why it can't be the top part of the view is anybody's guess.
I use Jif if I use processed PB. Normally, I use the natural stuff... Just peanuts and salt.
You have to stir and stir just like all the pb's used to require.
Good afternoon, Jim! Of course, still morning for you!!! How's the SoCal weather??
I've always loved peanut butter and J(..elly or ..am), but I've only used the natural stuff like Laura Scudders for many years because it tastes like peanuts and peanut butter and not sugar. Far as I know this type has not been recalled for contamination to date.
By the way, according to my heart doctors, peanuts and peanut butter (the oil, actually) is high in good cholesterol and is good for your heart and arteries.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHARON, BECKY, DANELLE, DONOVAN, DUSTIN, BRANDON, & STEVE S. & anyone else I missed!!☺
Happy Sunday to Everyone!
Yea for the Doctor's reports on PB!
I have not seen Laura Scudders PB on this side of America. I am sure it's around...just never seen it.
I am with Hedgie...pb is addicting.
Now that we are talking about it, a pb&j sounds really good.
Not quite a Frostie but....
They need to try putting pb in Frosties!
lol
Re: PB---I've been getting the Moosetracks ice cream & it has tiny choc. cups w/PB. Wonder what kind they use?? One I get is the Safeway brand.
Well, a little more rain coming now---guess I'll have to do some neglected inside stuff :>(
Still see only 1 tulip emerging in front patch--DUH!
BBL
Looks like the lady of White Rock is sitting. I wonder for how long.
Quickie egg roll. Lib sure has been a trooper today.
Checking on Lib. He looks gray and very wet.
I love my peanut butter!
I have been up west and now I've returned. Lots of standing water and the creeks are running high
So high that my feet are going UP
BBL
Heading up to John & Ajay's for dinner tonight :)
Taking Nugz with me :):)
Still raining here....wind is up...and temp has fallen to 39. That snow really MAY happen--:(
Mai is eating Frosty Paws. Not a good day for her energy.....so a treat seemed in order.
Have tried the natural PB's, but they just don't seem to be salty enough to satify my taste.
Have a nice dinner, Paula! ♫ You deserve a break today! ♫
It was my GOOF when I said happy birthday to Wanda's Dustin yesterday----it was Brandon!!!
All of the eagles are looking bedraggled on this side of the country. Poor things. I haven't seen the 2nd wee one at CRC yet.
But must admit, I took a nap!!
TV ALERT: Army Wives returns tonight!!!! Have the tissues handy!
Savannah up and out of the way, but that top crib rail hides the eaglets. Hmmmph!
I find it amazing that the other eagles don't think the baby's are prey! They were completely alone for a 10-15 seconds.....but now two adults in nest. Looks like feeding time.
Jo, where west did you go? Up here or to Clear Spring??
Wow, Puleston message board says that the Scottish osprey are on the move. In Spain, heading north. Beatrice is who they mentioned. I seriously doubt that Isla will be back.......but am always amazed by these birds, so....here's hoping!
Guess I am talking to myself.
Rats, missed the CRC feeding.
Osprey here on the move from South
America, so it would stand to reason the ones in Africa/Europe are on the move too.
Sure hope to see Isla this year...keeping my fingers crossed.
Looks like it's brightening up at CRC, eagle drying wings on the perch.
both parent at BWE
BWE is stuck
BWE just updated. both still there
Sun coming out at CRC
Heading up the road, watch for a switch soon at our nest.
Catch ya'll later.
Even looks like some sun rays at CRC!
None here, for sure. Still raining. Temp 37.
CRC pic is now a 6-for! Weird!
Trying to get up the energy to brave the elements to get the trash out. Will use the truck, but still gonna get wet and blown....
Two very wet adult eagles on the BWE.
Both providing tenting power.
It is doing the s--- word nearby--at Carolyn's....not here yet, but sure it will be. I HATE S--W!!!!!
Just getting in, signing in, see that Steve has given us a
Sunday Very Wet Eagle Thread
see you over there !
Andy, sounds like a lot of fun at the dog park. Wish we had something like that here. No such luck in a rural area. I bet all 3 of you are pooped!!
don't overlook the
NEW THREAD
it's over there...
Hi,
Got back a little while ago from picking Luna up at Rus and Rebecca's.
Shirley
that is a great report,
but sorry for so much traveling for Kathryn and Luna...
I am still catching up on this thread
but you might want to transport your post over to the
Sunday Thread
so the others can read it also
