Good Morning All! WOW! Such a smooth sign on to the new Live Feed. Just brought up the site and it was up/running. Another WOW! The pic Lisa has of the egg in the nest is beautiful! Very happy for her and for the Lord & Lady. Appointment around noon hour... things to do before leaving BUT I have to check out some more cams and read the early morning thread. BBILW
I agree with Sharon. Steve, please tell everyone how much we love the live feed! Keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to witness egg laying on the live feed!
Jo, I have no idea why cam 1 at NZ times out in 5 mins and cam 2 times out in 15 minutes, I think they did that on the day they were mating, so more people could watch...I keep forgetting to ask.
Back from reading the paper and have read the comments. HP again! Fantastic! Oh, I really dislike the fact that you have a winter storm coming. Poor eagles! Especially those that are sitting on eggs.
We had bad weather around here last night, but we lucked out and had no rain. However, tornadoes did touch down east of Dallas. Had power lines down on the interstate. No good!
Was thrilled to see Lily had taken down all her "decorations" and we can see her again.
I will see you friends later...SIL has come and gone; Christmas tree is put away for another year. I've got a good supply of wood. Now to get dog food and tissues---and a few goodies for me to eat! Later! Belle....don't lay an egg while I'm gone!
I do not want Belle to lay an egg until after this next storm passes. No egg for a few days Belle. Stay up on the limb or beside Lib wherever til this next storm passes.
Did ya'll see the update on the NCTC cam page? Also, you can access the Outdoorchannel link from there, just click on live cam
Winter Update #1 - January 21, 2010 The Shepherdstown eagles are working hard to prepare the nest for some new young. Despite a "hiccup" where we had to replace the nest cam last week, everything is going smooth towards eggs being laid in very early February.
The changing of the cam at this late date had to be done carefully, and we did the work with one of the Fish and Wildlife Service's "primo" eagle biologists onsite at the nest tree and in consultation with the Fish and Wildlife Service's Elkins Field Office.
You'll notice that we have again changed to position of the cam to provide a better view of the entire nest.
Thanks to our partner, The Outdoor Channel, for hosting the live feed from the nest--check it out!
Just checking in....very windy. Hang on Belle and Lib. Guess a few others of you should hold on as well. Bright sunshine and 63 here. Jack is in his workshop. He is making two name trains for new babies, a Tyler and a Talon.
The wind must be blowing off the river...no wind here, not a leaf stirring. I guess it's just a matter of time that it heads the 3 miles up the road to my place. Not expecting a lot of accumulation of snow...1-2 inches. Don't know about amount of ice.
PA Nana love your avatar. Wanda is that a new one? Pretty Does anyone want to go to a party? Seems that people are now dropping off booze at Poe's grave since the regular did not show up the other night. Off to check cams. Still sunny here
Tension builds. Tomorrow is the day I wagered Lily will give birth.
Actually, we’re all crossing our fingers she will have cubs at all at 3 when only 10 of 14 her age have done so in our study. We’re encouraged, though, by her activity. It shows she has energy. She is not in the deep hibernation that let’s blood oxygen fall too low to support fast-growing fetal tissue. She had the weight in fall to maintain a higher metabolism through winter and possibly have cubs. She is bringing cedar and fir boughs into the den for more bedding, probably getting them from the trees just outside her den where the camera is attached. Is she trying to get everything just right in the den before she has to lie inside all the time to keep cubs warm?
We listen for cub sounds. The team is trying to get rid of the buzz so all can hear better. To answer a common question, the light is invisible infra-red. The camera converts it to visible light for us to see on the internet, but it does not illuminate the den. On the other hand, darkness is not important to hibernation. Many bears build above ground nests and spend the winter in broad daylight. Some get covered by snow at times, but they give birth and raise cubs successfully anyway.
To know what she does outside, we are torn between leaving her undisturbed or visiting the site to collect any droppings and see where her tracks go. There is talk of adding a camera outside so we all can see what she does and what the family will do when they begin venturing outside in spring.
The den location is secret. The few people who know are keeping quiet so no one disturbs her.
We are pleased that interest in this rare window into the hidden world of bears is spreading. The goal of the North American Bear Center is to educate everyone. Bears can teach us all directly like Lily is doing. A couple hunting websites, ESPN and Outdoor Life, are hosting the den cam so their audiences to learn from Lily, and we salute the thousands of troops watching from overseas.
Every day we thank the donors who are helping reduce our debt as you can see on the thermometer. We thank them in our hearts and in these updates. Lily and her clan would thank you if she knew, because it helps all bears.
Visits to the North American Bear Center website at www.bear.org have grown from 2000 a day to over 100,000 per day thanks to Lily! Changes are being made now to accommodate the additional traffic we expect to get in the days ahead.
It is exciting to see so many folks eager for T-shirts. We hope to have them for sale on-line by the end of today. The picture on the t-shirts is the familiar one – Lily’s face with her gentle eyes and the dirt on her nose from digging the den. Three captions will be available: ‘Lily Fan’, ‘Held Captive By Lily’, and ‘I (red heart) Lily’. The t-shirts come in two colors—ash or natural. Natural is a light yellowish tan. Both are Gildan short-sleeved pre-shrunk t-shirts in youth and adult sizes up to XXXL. The ash t-shirt is 99% cotton and 1% polyester. The natural t-shirt is 100% heavy cotton.
At this moment, Lily is restless. The little movements in her abdomen make me wonder if cubs are moving inside her, or if it’s just my hopefulness.—Lynn Rogers, Ph.D.
I'm back! Everything is put away except to carry the dog food downstairs. Caught up here and on FB. Feel a nap coming on. Lynn Rogers sure does a great job of informing about Lily. Can you believe 100,000 viewers? Who's going to order a T???? Me!
I guess ambient air temp at nest COULD be lower, but my thermometer reads 44 here---and I'm about 22 miles NW of nest. It's already sleeting/freezing rain in Bluefield. Mattie and Justin got out of school at 1. Bet ours will be closed tomorrow---another long weekend for the kids. This is getting ridiculous---they will never get in 180 days this year! Shar---anything coming down in Bedford?
I like the fact that they are talking about a second cam at Lily's den. Another that is set farther away to show us what she is doing. I have wondered if the cam produces a little heat and that attracts her to the cam.????
Lolly, you're right. Steve should make arrangements to have that T made and sold through the gift shop at NCTC. If we did it ourselves, don't know what kind of cost would be involved....we do have a local T-shirt shop in Hedgesville. I could always check into it and see. Just don't know about enlarging the pic from what we have....if it would lose too much resolution...anyone have any idea?
Mom sent a good eagle article from the St. Louis paper....when I get on PC I wills can it...scanner only puts things in jpg format---will try putting it on my blog, but if you can't enlarge it big enough to read, I send it out in email as an attachment.
thought is she is clenching her teeth by the muscle movement in her head. Bear Center says this could be it. Whatever over 7500 online now good you got in.
Lynn - we could do it on cafe press for ourselves....I'm not upfronting the cost of any more tshirts to put on my website....I do have the original, btw. Deb sent to me to put in a calendar, which I never got done. Which reminds me, I have to print out some pics and mail them....to Norma.
It's been raining steadily for a while here; it's warmed up to about 52 degrees, but there's a bit of a wind chill. The patio is under about 3" of water, which isn't as bad yet as it got yesterday. I need to drive to the post office, so think I will go now, before it gets really bad out there.
Got some more laundry done, and cleaned up the house. Now I need to finish doing some medical terminology definitions to turn in tonight, and study for tonight's test. Please say a prayer for me--my allergies seem to be bothered by something in the classroom! Not sure whether it's the highly fragrant cleaning solution the janitors use to wash the floors, or if it's something in the air conditioning in the room. (Actually, it's NOT air conditioning--more like heat. It's constantly about 85 in there, no matter what! After about 20 minutes in there, I start sneezing and sneezing, and then coughing. My throat is still irritated from Tuesday night, and tonight I have to go back there! Not looking forward to more irritation.
Darn it, HOW do I tear myself away?! Just LOOK at that gorgeous eagle! I've been watching the hummer cam too, and sometimes Lily, so hope I'm able to get at least SOMETHING done around here today! Love talking to all of you guys, too! SO much to do, but SO little time! Guess I'd better head to the post office. BBIALW... :o]
well the reason I wner rhere is becuae Bear Center itself put a post on facebook saying she is clenching her jaws This could be it. Came over to share what I saw and went to the site. Lots there to watch no matter what she is doing :-) I agree computr is a humming.
Is Cafe press where you had the old ones done, Paula? If we took orders and had a definite # to have made (pay in advance) that would probably be a good way to go.
Panting and licking the air is always a sign in dogs....but now she's completely turned aorund, hit the cam.....thought I saw some snow flakes before she started shuflfing around.
some think they see a wet spot aobut 12 noon an dher water broke. Who knows but the Bear Center will put somehting out again soon is my guess. Yesterday she was gone 15 mins
Count me in on the t-shirt with Deb's picture. I still have her on my fb friends list and in my email address book. Can't bring myself to delete them yet.
Where's Belle? Is she having an affair? Poor Lib has been waiting at home for her for almost an hour now.
yes MeMa Jo I remember. And somehow when its all said and done he ends up with the dried ones near the bottom of the nest with flies hovering around them LOL.
Lily the Black Bear We anxiously watch this new change in Lily's behavior! This is new. She appears to be straining. The muscles on her head and back of her neck are flexing. We can't see into the den -- but the flexing of those muscles gives us a clue to what is happening.
Boy trying to keep up with all the cams. Missed the HP, missed the red pandas. Did see the gorgeous eagle at NBG and am watching Lily and she looks like she could be in labor or are we hopeful
I think Jim wants to eat. Hey I got a bear giving birth here, an eagle with an egg, eagles doing hp and a close up of a eagle in Norfolk and you want to eat.
And I will have to keep feeding the fire, which will interrupt my viewing! Not to mention the fact that I will probably be on the phone a lot......Carolyn lost her job. A-hole said she just wasn't catching on to the job well enough and made her work in a moldy basement doing filing: Health Dept. has a sign on the door that no one is allowed in the basement. WTH?? Expected her to know how to do things that no one ever told her she was supposed to do---co-worker even told him that she hadn't told her because she didn't know herself. Yesterday the "crew" brought in donuts and didn't offer her any, and never came to take her lunch order. I just found out a couple of days ago that her boss is in to coke.....sure wish I knew a cop!
My heart breaks for her---as all mothers understand. I'm mad so I'm crying. I'm the first to admit that she's not the sharpest tack in the box, but she's not stupid, either and she tries so hard. And it's just the same old story----people who are beaten down just keep getting beaten down. She has been applying for some decent jobs with benefits, so just praying that one of them comes through. Thanks for letting me vent. Sorry.
Oh Hegie I am reading you. Its so hard when they step on your kid no matter how old your kid is. It used to be so much easier when you could just kiss and make better.
so you all think that was Lib. Then of course lots of you thought so earlier today until Belle got her head smashed into the nestbowl again. Its always hard to tell for sure. I hope it is lib actually.
Hedgie, I hear your concerns. With those conditions I would NOT like her working there no matter what. I am praying for another job opportunity to come quickly for her. ((hugs))
Remembering last year...Lib was in the egg cup/bowl more than Belle. It is a MALE THING, afterall that is the BEDROOM;) When it was near time for an egg to be laid, Lib would stick his head way down into the cup and then look at Belle as if to say, "What are you waiting on?":)
I have a friend who is a 5th grade teacher. Her kids are now watching Lily and starting tomorrow will be watching our nest! I love it. She wants me to be a guest speaker sometime to answer questions about our nest. Reckon I could do that?
Lily the Black Bear Research does believe this is the 'real thing'. Lily appears to be in labor. She has had 2 active labor periods and is resting now. We all heard a sound towards the end of the last session. We are not sure what that sound was -- could have come from Lily. We are anxiously waiting for more developments! This is exciting
Having trouble with my scanning. Will go back to it after I eat. Thanks for your sympathies....love you all. How often do we all wish for those days when a bandaid and a kiss took care of everything for our babies???
I'm thinking crock pot dinners or carry out until eggs are laid, cubs are born....
Lynn, I'm so sorry about Carolyn's job, but given that overall atmosphere, she's probably better off without it. I hope she has better luck finding one soon than I have had. Will she be able to commit unemployment?
A black bear named Lily is may be about to give birth in the wild live on the Internet. Biologist Lynn Rogers says the birth in Lily's den outside Ely, Minn. is a video first. Rogers and his North American Bear Center put a camera in Lily's den that streams her activity live.
Rogers says Lily appears to have started labor around 2 p.m. Central Time Thursday.
Since then, Lily has pawed at her face, left her den, and then returned and has tried going back to sleep. She brought in balsam fir to set up bedding and her mammary glands appear swollen. ABC
Rogers has been studying bears for 43 years and never seen a birth. He predicts the 3-year-old Lily will give birth Friday.
It's hard to capture a black bear birth live because they don't usually den near where live cameras can be set up.
Paula....Jack and I have a question. You posted the porn pic. So, as Jack said, it is an engineers curiosity. How,just how, do birds fertilize the female?
they have had more viewers than that and it did not go down, but maybe that is not an accurate count, it might have crased like it did the day they put it up.
Evening Everyone! Guess I missed the live feed. Says it is off due to inclement weather. Wasn't on here yeaterday. Today we had retirement lunch for our secretary who's going back to TX. Then I drove to the bpat ramps & past the nest--no birds. Went to Upper Marlboro & Schoolhouse Pond--nothing special there, but got some artistic pics.Had giant Panda nap & soon having din din.
Lily the Black Bear The response to Lily's den cam has been overwhelming -- and website servers are overwhelmed. Research is also unable to get the live feed.
This is now ont he Outdoor Channel site- We apologize for the inconvenience. Inclement weather has forced the live feed offline temporarily. We're working to restore it. Please return later. Thank you.

Morning, all!
The egg at BWE looks so much prettier in the daylight! Have you seen the new pic that Lisa posted?
I agree with Sharon. Steve, please tell everyone how much we love the live feed! Keep your fingers crossed that we will be able to witness egg laying on the live feed!

OH my and HP already this morning!
Nobody home now! Does the sound go in and out for anyone else?
Seems like there is some kind of interference happening now.
Need to go to BWE to see the egg.
Moose cam has 1 moose who was feeding and then walked away and just plopped down in the snow. Hope Pook gets her feed delivered today.
I am also happy to see all the branches away from the entrance to Lily's den.
Wow, quite a hum now on our cam. What with Lily cam and this cam my computer is a HUMMING!!!!
Jack will be going back to Houston Sunday for tests in the hangar on Monday. I might go, thinking about it.
Also, we have decided to get a new computer. Hurrah! It will take a while...need to do a lot of back up first. Where's a geek when you need one? lol
Actually, I think Jack needs a laptop! Love this one!
Looks like Daddio at BWE
I made it through my emails and now must go to get my street clothes on...

Yep Paula - Lord BW is much shorted than the Lady. Easy to tell those 2 apart.

Eagle in our nest!
Did you hear that landing? Love it!!!!
Steve said they were working on the interference. Not sure where or what it is from! Another eagle just appeared - think Belle!
There is that lovely flesh-tearing sound!
Breakfast time! Belle is eating away!
She sure finished that quick! Little bit of beaking....then Lib took off the back
You can see where she wants the egg cup! Pulling out the fluff and moving it around.
Lib just came back!
Definitely got some fluff happening!
Lily is waking up. Eagles or bear?????
Oh, did you hear that?
That egg cup is looking quite comfy!
Missed Belle leaving
Eagle still in the nest...was messing with sticks at the back left...now just chilling, standing in the egg cup
I need to leave - loved the show...

I am off to eat a bite. Won't be far away from cams! Will walk after I eat. Have to get something accomplished today!!!!

Wind somewhere!

I agree with Paula! A little less chatter so I can keep up and watch the other 3 cams I have up. Whew! I hope this computer can take this hard work.
Oh, sorry! Hi everyone. I got so eggcited I forgot my manners. ;o(
Back to eggwatch
The wind sounds worse than it is!
PA Nana love your avatar.
Wanda is that a new one? Pretty
Does anyone want to go to a party?
Seems that people are now dropping off booze at Poe's grave since the regular did not show up the other night. Off to check cams. Still sunny here
Wanda, is the temp accurate on the web page? 23?
Well, we know where to go to party then. Road trip to Poe's resting site!
EAGLE ALERT!
Someone if fluffy the fluff ...
... fluffing
Yea. Eagle Thanks
Checking out the egg cup!

like I posted yesterday, that TWC, site on the cam is not up to date...the real temp right now on TWC page for 25443 is 42°
I'll be getting a t-shirt too! Held captive by Lily for me!
I think we should all get new t-shirts with Deb's eagle pic of lib and Belle on it!
Yes, 42° here and the wind is really only about 5 to 10 mph. It's nice outside for January.
The t-shirt funds should knock down their expenses! Great idea! I'm getting one!
I like the fact that they are talking about a second cam at Lily's den. Another that is set farther away to show us what she is doing. I have wondered if the cam produces a little heat and that attracts her to the cam.????

Go to LILY
Hi, Everyone!
Getting here a bit late today--slept in this morning, and it felt good! Went back to sleep after getting Hubby off to work.
It's SO fantastic to have the live cam again! Just LOOK at that eagle!
And I've missed hearing the sounds around the nest, too.
Mom sent a good eagle article from the St. Louis paper....when I get on PC I wills can it...scanner only puts things in jpg format---will try putting it on my blog, but if you can't enlarge it big enough to read, I send it out in email as an attachment.
Don't think eagle has moved much....
OI Glo I did go to Lily
What am I seeing.??
That is one fierce looking bear claw!
Lolly, that is what I always thought caused Boris to be attracted to our cam.
Lynn - jpg is picture format...so that should work just fine for putting on your blog.
IS THAT A CUB??????????
If it were a cub we would hear it I think........
yeah so what am I watching with Lily????
I need a cup of coffee to settle my nerves! lol
thought is she is clenching her teeth by the muscle movement in her head. Bear Center says this could be it. Whatever over 7500 online now good you got in.
i SWEAR---IT LOOKS LIKE AT LEAST ONE CUB.....ARE MY EYES PLAYING TRICKS???
well if it is a cub, would hope that you would be hearing it.

Guess I'm imagining things! Didn't see same thing when she moved the other leg.
With the wind at the nest and
with the hum at the den --- WHOA, hubby thought my speakers were busted!
I think we're just seeing a good view of Lily - she is yawning.... May be too warm inside her den and just needed some fresh air.....
And our eagle is still standing free!
Up to 8100+ viewers now!
Gotta go get the fire built....argh.
Darn it, HOW do I tear myself away?! Just LOOK at that gorgeous eagle! I've been watching the hummer cam too, and sometimes Lily, so hope I'm able to get at least SOMETHING done around here today!

Lib still hanging in the nest!
Phone rang and I was at the computer. Friend asked about the noise. Said it was eagle cam and the wind was blowing.
Is Cafe press where you had the old ones done, Paula? If we took orders and had a definite # to have made (pay in advance) that would probably be a good way to go.
BWE Cam is bad but I SEE THAT EGG
That little eagle egg is all alone.
LOL off to the loo for Lily
Lily went for a walk.
Did Lily go to the loo ?
This is where that second cam would be very good.
Panting and licking the air is always a sign in dogs....but now she's completely turned aorund, hit the cam.....thought I saw some snow flakes before she started shuflfing around.
Our eagle is still there and Lily has gone to the loo!
Did anyone get to see the
BWE Egg in view
some think they see a wet spot aobut 12 noon an dher water broke. Who knows but the Bear Center will put somehting out again soon is my guess. Yesterday she was gone 15 mins
And now I guess she is taking a loo stroll!
BWE returned and is rolling the egg
Looks like the Lord now incubating the egg.
Hope they do well and that maybe the weather down there won't be so severe.
Like maybe just rain!
I think that is Belle in our nest now
Count me in on the t-shirt with Deb's picture. I still have her on my fb friends list and in my email address book. Can't bring myself to delete them yet.
Where's Belle? Is she having an affair? Poor Lib has been waiting at home for her for almost an hour now.
Website for Shepherdstown says 23°..it is actually 39° here.
I think I can see the camera strap laying in Lily's den.........
so Ceil, party at Poe's house....:)
In and out at BWE...egg visible again

Lily is back resting in the den. We believe labor has begun and this is just a lull in it's progress.
Andy, take a non-drowsy antihistamine before you go to school!!!!
Off I go to build the fire. BB.
Ahha, was that Belle all this time ?
Hard for me to tell when there is only one. Sorry Belle.
That was Belle, poor thing just got her face smashed into the nest again!
Come on Lily!
Just Do It !
Thanks Sharon/Glo for keeping us posted
Both our eagles are in the nest.
Oh my, the cam stopped on the HP!!!
Snapped a pic, tee hee!
Porn, huh
Looks like Belle took off
gonna be triplets in the nursery again this year at the rate these 2 or should I say Lib is going. Good thing he is also great at fishing :-)
Oh, my listen to them!
Yup, eagle porn!
MT nest!
Remember the time Lib brought about 5 fishes into the nest! lol
Hi all....been busy today, Steve took a "mental" health day!
I saw HP at 4:03pm!!!
exciting about Lily!!!
yes MeMa Jo I remember. And somehow when its all said and done he ends up with the dried ones near the bottom of the nest with flies hovering around them LOL.
From FB about an hour ago
Lily the Black Bear We anxiously watch this new change in Lily's behavior! This is new. She appears to be straining. The muscles on her head and back of her neck are flexing. We can't see into the den -- but the flexing of those muscles gives us a clue to what is happening.
Put the HP pic in the album...
Wonder how much HP we have missed before we got the live cam!
close up of eagle NBG
eagle at the BWO cam too.
red pandas cam 1
Boy trying to keep up with all the cams. Missed the HP, missed the red pandas. Did see the gorgeous eagle at NBG and am watching Lily and she looks like she could be in labor or are we hopeful
I think Jim wants to eat. Hey I got a bear giving birth here, an eagle with an egg, eagles doing hp and a close up of a eagle in Norfolk and you want to eat.
Ceil you're not the only one - I am having a flippin' time from one cam to another and hoping I am at the right cam when something does happen! lol
Jo I know I will miss the birth. Oh and there was a lovely sunset at the snowman cam.
EAgle back!
Thanks Megan
That was a quiet fly in........
I am trying to bake a cake...hard to do so with that Lily cam action...
I just found out a couple of days ago that her boss is in to coke.....sure wish I knew a cop!
geeesh between Lily and Belle hanging around that nestcup area ..Well I think Belle needs a ladies night out :-)
My heart breaks for her---as all mothers understand.
Sorry.
Boy Lib is going to town on that egg cup!
Looks like Lib is really testing out that egg well
Can it be so soon.... WOW !
One went poof!
There she went, he's gonna go too!
Logging on on PC to post the article on blog.
From the Bear Center
Lily the Black Bear
Research does believe this is the 'real thing'. Lily appears to be in labor. She has had 2 active labor periods and is resting now. We all heard a sound towards the end of the last session. We are not sure what that sound was -- could have come from Lily. We are anxiously waiting for more developments! This is exciting
YES Sharon I reckon you could do it very well.
oh, Lynn, I feel your pain:(, but hope for better times to come for her.
It certainly looks like Lily is pushing.
And I can't get our cam up?
Having trouble with my scanning. Will go back to it after I eat.
Thanks for your sympathies....love you all. How often do we all wish for those days when a bandaid and a kiss took care of everything for our babies???
no cam here either:(.
I lost our cam---can't get it back up...
so, who is the big shot at OTV, that we contact when this happens:)
Sharon you would do very well explaining the happenings at our nest for her class.
Nest is empty I see on still cam.
Lynn I am so sorry for Carolyn. Hey will be praying for her to get a great job. Yep kiss them and make them better the good days.
I'm thinking crock pot dinners or carry out until eggs are laid, cubs are born....
Lynn, I'm so sorry about Carolyn's job, but given that overall atmosphere, she's probably better off without it. I hope she has better luck finding one soon than I have had. Will she be able to commit unemployment?
and by commit, I mean COLLECT...DUH.
Gonna hit the tub while dinner is baking. Hope I don't miss anything!

Lily's labor has made the news http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory?id=9627861
thanks for posting that Sharon! That's cool!
My eagle cam down along with everyone's
Temp raise though to 39°
Yep, Shar, you would make a good spokesperson for the eagles!!!
Think how nervous Dr Lynn Rogers is as he watches Lily..........
Would you believe Jack and I have been on the patio having a glass of wine? Beautiful day!
Lynn......my heart is breaking for you and your daughter. We all know what you are feeling. Prayers that she gets a good job.
Wanda,an earlier comment by you made me laugh out loud. (((hugs)))
Forgot.....yes, Sharon, you could do a great job talking about our eagles to the students. Go for it!
Thanks everybody for your vote of confidence in me! I will let you know if it comes to pass! :)
Can not get the cam. Guess it is down for more work tonight. What do you think?
Trying to catch up....Sharon, you'd make a great person to talk to kids about the eagles!!
And now I can't get Lily's cam!
Lily's cam just went down on me also
Yeah, thanks to the ABC story, most likely too much cam traffic.
big buck on Pix
I was thinking the same thing. I didn't want our eagle cam link to go out yesterday because I didn't want it to crash.
Lily's only shows 8955 viewers -At least before it went down......
I sure hope there isn't something
special going on! (Without us)
Paula....Jack and I have a question.
Well, that stinks, the timing is terrible. Seems the ABC story attracted too many new viewers at once, can't get cam to open from any site.
Thank you.
Jo I don't like black beans LOL
well it is really sad that research can't get the live feed either Too much of a good thing I guess
Lily the Black Bear The response to Lily's den cam has been overwhelming -- and website servers are overwhelmed. Research is also unable to get the live feed.
Everybody needs to get off the cam and give it a break. I would rather that Dr. Rogers get to see it even if nobody else does.
that is a shame 43 years and he may still miss it
CEIL ROFLMBO
Sharon I agree.
Me too, I stopped trying to open the cam. But it may take some time for them to get the feed back up.
