Wow, totals are really going up all around. Need to measure again....

hedgie said...

14"....and still coming down hard.

paula eagleholic said...

Thanks for the new thread Steve. Hope you are enjoying the snow!

T-Bird said...

I think Bedford has 14 inches. We are suppose to get strong winds. If we get that it sure will cause major drifts.

paula eagleholic said...

Heading out for round 2...

hedgie said...

Our church activities for tomorrow have been postponed. Good thing! Now set for the 3rd.

Curry dip is made---yum!

hedgie said...

Shar, guess it's good that the wedding is postponed----but can only imagine the logistics of doing that!! Hope Andrew does come home to spend time with his mama.

thanks for the call over Ceil...

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
From base to summit, gay and bright,
There's only splendor for the sight.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
Thou bidst us true and faithful be,
And trust in God unchangingly.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee! !"

Just heard a cop say that he's driven the entire length of I-81 in the county and didn't see a single plow. He says conditions are "pathetic". They had closed it earlier---don't know if it still is or not.

paula eagleholic said...

OK, done shoveling for today! Got the driveway done out to the street, maybe the guy won't plow me in again!

paula eagleholic said...

BW cams are cleared up...not as much as here!

magpie said...

Whoo Boy ! this is serious stuff!
going to get out to clean off the buggy again...Ha Ha, will be working on that until dark.

One thing, lots of folks are out there making some money plowing!

magpie said...

My heart aches for anyone with something really important like a wedding planned for today!
Sharon.... let us know when you get that Andrew Hug ♥

Hold on and don't let go !!

I see where the wedding has been postponed....
:(

magpie said...

Not sure how work is going to handle getting new shift of dispatchers in....I trust that our Office of Emergency Services will be doing some of that, as they help with getting hospital folks in and out

WOOF ! Oh, to be a kid again and have not a worry in the world! I remember that snow of 1958 or 1959 - and a whole lot since then too.

magpie said...

as far as road plowing and DOH -, there is only so much mere mortals can do against this kind of act of Nature

magpie said...

Paula I love your lone little snowflake on your avatar...

hedgie said...

Dana, does that mean you like my tree?? :)

Mits said...

Margy we remember those storms living in this area, because they are few and far between thank heavens:)

magpie said...

I like your tree, Lynn!
You be careful going out.
Well, going to spend about 25 mins getting dressed and see what happens outside, will check all the rest of the pictures later.

Thinking of everyone and hope all are snug as a bug in a rug

I'll be back in a little while, I think.

Spaghetti sauce simmering for dinner.
Guess if power goes out before I cook the pasta, I can just smear it on top of garlic bread!

My Christie walked to work this afternoon. Luckily it's only 2 blocks....but I will sure worry tonight at 11 when she has to walk home---IF she doesn't have to pull a double because of no-shows.
Her hubby left at 4 this AM and it took him 3 hrs. to get to his station---normally takes about 90 mins. tops. Since VA gov declared state of emergency, he gets double-time pay....and if he has to stay over in the morning past 7 he'll get triple time. Sounds like when I worked at GM!

magpie said...

I'll just copy out Paula's snow wardrobe info and go step by step

magpie said...

Oh ha ha, just remembered I have a heavyduty pair of outdoor Camouflage Bib Overalls....

Hi Thelma.....How does Buddy like the snow.

Mits said...

19 inches on back deck table....hope it stops soon.

Lolly said...

Sorry about talking about mowing. lol Mowed and also used the leaf blower. Have on only a sweatshirt, no jacket. Then worked on the stream between the two ponds as it was full of leaves. Froze my hand! But it was nice being outside. Jack carried in some flower pots and some hanging baskets that had died. We are way behind in our yard clean up. Maybe after Christmas we will be able to do more IF the weather permits. We have alot of wood fern that dies back every winter. It needs to be cut back and raked. Joseph, Jacob and the Macie, the little girl next door trampled the fern to make a "fort" right in the big middle of one patch. Would have killed them if it had been green!

Oh, the poor bride, that had to postpone her wedding. Oh, what a nightmare!

Keep the reports coming. Enjoy reading about ALL your snow. Of course, your storm is big news here as well. Stay warm!

hedgie said...

Haz Mat fuel leak somewhere, Margy..

Kids here are going to get an early Christmas break. They weren't supposed to start until Weds. I'm sure they aren't disappointed. Just hope that if any holiday assignments, they thought ahead enough to bring home what they need...duh! Won'tplace any bets on that!

Lolly said...

Last day of school around here was yesterday. Missing the last three days of school means missing their Christmas parties. Poor teachers can not get out and shop.

Lolly said...

My cinnamon rolls are ready to put in the over, so back out to the kitchen.

Driveway where will shoveled--looks like it's 18-24 inches deep. I did not measure, though.

hedgie said...

16" and counting.......

Mema Jo said...

I hope she pays you well, Thelma!
I was typing away and I didn't realize that Ceil had called us over. This is what I typed.......
My nap is over - took a nice almost hot shower - drinking a cup of mellow coffee and I'm still NOT ready to go
out in the Snow to play! WOW - still coming down and I it is almost waist deep, well at least above my knees! Hubby won't go out and measure. Don't blame him!

paula eagleholic said...

Finally got the downstairs vacuumed...going to go wrap for awhile!

paula eagleholic said...

Don't think we'll have a visit tonight!

stronghunter said...

I haven't gone out either, Jo.

PA Nana said...

Ho,Ho, Ho ... don't have to dream of a white Christmas! This is a doozie. We have about 10 inches so far and it's still snowing. I hear the winds are supposed to start in afew hours - NOT GOOD! Where we live the roads drift terribly and it may take days to get out of town. we have an alleyway between our house and the neighbors on one side and without the neighbor's former fil, we wouldn't get out of the drive either.

I remember that snowstorm in '59. I was the oldest child and daddy was at work so I had to shovel all the way to the end of our property (about 250 feet) to get to his Beagles and feed and water them. Electricity was out for days and fortunately we had a gas stove. Mom would bake and cook to keep us warm.

more later if we still have the power.
Stay safe everyone!!

Mema Jo said...

Lynn - Glad the cop didn't see any other motorists on the road - Thank goodness people use common sense on days like this. Doesn't make sense to be plowing when it hasn't yet stopped.

Our neighbor is going to burn up his lawn mower/plow out front. I think he just likes to play in the snow.

glo said...

Well you all are having quite the snowstorm. Our second big one of the year is due on Wed. I do hope for the most part you are all in and warm and everyone keeps their power. Thats the part that always bothers me, well and getting my old short legged little dog out. He will not use decks or paths of anykind. Insist he has to find the right spot and it can't be anywhere where folks would possibly walk even if all he is goign to do is pee. Makes it tough in blizzard like conditions. We put in a very long 3 days back about 10 days ago, so I do kind of know what you are all goign through. Please be very careful. Andrew Go Home!!!!

paula eagleholic said...

I'm hungry after all that shoveling, so grabbed a snack. Dogs are out back again, playing in the snow. Nugz thinks he can catch the chickadees at the far feeder...NOT! Snow is really slowing him down, LOL.

stronghunter said...

Radar keeps looking like the snow will end soon, but snow keeps coming, and coming hard. Wind is whipping it around.

paula eagleholic said...

Anyone catch the eagles at BWE??

Mema Jo said...

Our night light is on at the nest. I didn't see the eagles at BWE, Paula - did you catch a glimpse of them?

Time for me to think about fixing supper.

Stay warm and dry........

Rescuers are having to hike in to some place for a sick person....at least a mile......

hedgie said...

Newspaper online says 20" in downtown Martinsburg w/ 35 mph. winds-----we have not had any significant wind, thank goodness! Strange how much difference 15 miles makes!

Hedgie something going on Rt 11 wreck after they get that cleaned up. They are going to plow Rt 11 and send all traffic down 11 and try to fix up I 81. Next door neighbors parents are in from N.C. for their Christmas with family. Stuck in motel Holiday Inn up here near us off of exit 20 but she can't get to them and they can't get to her.

stronghunter said...

Cute picture, Diann.

I posted a few pictures Will took.

Lynne2 said...

Hello all! LOVELY weather, huh?
We went out about 3 hours ago and we had about 20" then, did some preliminary digging around the vehicles (girls who insist on shoveling snow, with blatant disregard of husband's wishes and doctor's orders are VERY BAD) and refilled all the bird feeders. It's still snowing like crazy and there is about 3 more inches now. The local news is now saying 30 inches. UGH.
I put some pictures on my blog.

stronghunter said...

I think Will is getting cabin fever. He is out shoveling again.

stronghunter said...

Hope they get to the sick person and are able to help, Lynn.

PA Nana said...

Lynne, your Joker looks like my Bandit - black & white.

Hi, Everyone!
Whoa, you guys aren't kidding about it being a White Christmas!
We're back from a side trip into the wine country of Temecula, CA. Beautiful day today--not at ALL like Christmas! Sorry, you guys!
I would actually prefer some snow. (sigh...) Went wine tasting, had a DELICIOUS lunch, went sightseeing.
Have decided not to go to 'A Christmas Carol' at the playhouse, but want to get a DVD and watch it tonight(The one with George C. Scott). Fireplace in the room is too pretty to waste.

Ms Bookworm said...

Here's a picture of some of the grapes at the vineyard where we ate lunch.

hedgie said...

Diann, cute grandson!!!
Shirley, your home is lovely, and pics are very interesting---don't know anything about that fancy stuff that Will does!
Lynne, I am going to have to get my naggy nurse hat on for you, too (put it on for Diann last night!)----DO NOT do any more shoveling! Good pics from you, too---is that the cat whose head got stepped on??

hedgie said...

Still no luck getting to the sick person yet.....apparently up on "my" mountain somewhere----maybe near my old-life home....hey, maybe it's the ex! More likely his bro.
Humvees can't get here for 4-8 hrs.

Ms Bookworm said...

Had the BEST appetizer at lunch! Deep fried tiny red and yellow beets, deep fried spinach leaves, and brie cheese rolled in bread crumbs. ALMOST tempted me to become a vegetarian! Had chicken rice soup, and caramel custard for dessert. Totally yummy! Had hot sourdough breadsticks to dunk in the soup.

Mema Jo said...

Andrea, I just ate dinner but your lunch menu is making me hungry - Now how could that be! Thanks for reporting all this to us - takes our minds off the snow! ((hugs))

hedgie said...

LOL....I remember the '73 storm---think it was Feb....no power, so cold...I was so sick w/ morning sickness....nearby farmer was finally coming to take me out with a snowmobile when power came back on! So have never had to evacuate!! (except a hurricane evac from St. Croix!).

Mema Jo said...

Lisa at BWE has a great pic of their eagle couple in the snowy nest....

hedgie said...

Wonderful pic, Jo----wonder how Lisa got that with the cam frozen at an earlier time?

PA Nana said...

Hope someone can get to the sick person soon.

Lynn, I need a nagging nurse - thanks! Never gave a thought to freeze - totally forgot about that possibility. Lynne, listen to our nurse!!

Just heard the news - power outages in the area. Now it begins.

Everyone stay safe and warm.
Blessings around in case I can't get on later.

Ms Bookworm said...

Oh, my! SO unwound I feel like a dishrag! Lynn, my BP is checking out at 120/61! Can't get much better than that. Praying that the rescuers are able to get to the sick person in record time, and that there won't be any more serious wrecks on the road.
Was sorry to hear that a wedding had to be postponed--that's a shame.
Hope nobody's out shoveling snow right now. Makes more sense to wait until it stops snowing. Stay inside by the fire and sip a hot toddy!

Really like your cardinal! Hope you don't get called in to work!
Diann,
Your little Max is a cutie!
Jo,
We're going to try making the appetizer when we get home. Best beets I ever ate!

stronghunter said...

Good that I have Will here to do the shoveling. I grabbed the laser pointer images off his Facebook page. One does look like an alien attack of some kind.

Would be nice to have some Christmas lights on my house in the snow pic. Would like to put a tree in the front window, but will be shopping for gifts before I shop for trees right now.

Did a little online shopping this evening.

Lolly said...

Jack and I are back from the grocery store. Had to get there this afternoon as the Cowboys attempt to play football this evening. Had to get my 10% discount at the grocery store. This time Jack wore the jersey!

Jack is presently out in his shop cracking pecans. He will sit and shell them as he watches football.

Bacon Pasta and a bottle of wine tonight! We are having the pasta just so we have the excuse to have wine. lol

Paula, everytime I see your avatar I think there is a bug crawling on the screen. A little spidey! lol

Lynne, you need your head examined! You should not be out shoveling snow!

Neighbors on one side came over today and brought homemade cookies and bottle of beer bread mix. Interesting! They also brought over "Buddy", their new 8 week old puppy. He is soooo cute!

floralgirl said...

Okay, been out in the weather.
City streets, not so bad. Parking lot at apartment, been plowed.
I have to got to eat! One must be very hungry to nearly burn a grilled cheese sandwich!
I will cruise the photo galleries while chowing down.
I guess 9-1-1 nightshift made it into work.

Susan's comments about working at DSW last night.

"The store was a MAD house tonight, people were going crazy for snow boots. People were coming it at 8pm and seeing we had no sizes left and were shocked, I told them that EVERYONE was buying snow boots today. I had one woman that thought maybe I had a stock pile hiding in the backroom... umm why would I be hiding snow boots? Our goal is to make money! We close at 9pm, I locked the doors at about 9:10pm and we must have had 20 people come and try to get in after I locked them."

PA Nana said...

Snow is slowing down and crazy Jim is out shoveling - again - and it's dark!

He didn't get to Mass tonight and I think he's thinking tomorrow morning. If that white stuff starts blowing around, he won't get out of town.

Hope everyone is safe and warm.

... later

Judie said...

Hi everyone,

So sorry for the bride and groom and their postponed wedding.

Seems everyone is coping well with the weather and the inconveniences.

Next door neighbor's college son came over and offered to shovel snow (for a price, of course) and I am completely stunned -- Darth agreed! At 72 and not the best health, it is time for him to let go of these life-threatening chores and his ego. Thank you Lord for the blessing.

Nest still undisturbed. Hope Belle and Lib are as warm as can be in a sheltered tree.

Looks like we got about 3 ft. of snow at our place, not counting drifts. So happy we have not had a power outage, yet. Means I got grades submitted to Registrar this afternoon. Lolly, again, great school humor!

Think I'll go try to warm up. Since coming home from the hospital, I don't seem to be able to warm up. Chill seems to be internal. Oh well, blankets and a heater work.

magpie said...

Wow, sure are some nice pictures here on your all's blogspots.
Lolly, how do I find the Puppy Buddy ?

Judie - do you have one of those little herbal heat sacky things you warm up in the microwave?
Love those little rascals !

Lolly - - I go back Wednesday night at midnight, but they could pull me in for a shift this week-end I guess. I have stayed over many a time over the 21 years of work there, so I am glad it is someone else's turn.

Andrea, nice picture of you and Ken ♥ ♥

stronghunter said...

Hi Judie,

Yes, it is a shame about the postponed wedding.

Good that you got your grades posted. That is always such a relief. I really need to start reading those research papers. I always say that good papers are easy to grade. Bad ones, however, can be tough. We will see what I have this time around.

I enjoyed Lolly's little stories, too.

Three feet of snow. That's more than we have, but I think we are getting close to 2 feet.

stronghunter said...

Good that Darth let the college kid do the shoveling.

magpie said...

Ha Ha, last night someone had a complaint about loud music!
Way out in the sticks.
Called back to check on the situation, complainant said the power flickered and went out for a few seconds, and the loud music came to a screeching halt. So he canceled his request for police.
People were really fired up last night, seemed like they wanted to get all their figthing in before the snow started.

magpie said...

I got a few little measly pictures on Magpie's Roost

Had a nice talk with Wanda and Hedgie while I was out "snowmobiling"

How awful to have to postpone a wedding. Reception, music, food, honeymoon, tux rentals?? Oh, my what a sad situation:(

magpie said...

magpie said...

Wanda
I have been reminiscing about the wonderful Poop Shoot Facials you used to perform on us! Are they still on your blog anywhere?

That was such fun !

stronghunter said...

Will started a fire in the fireplace and we kept hearing sizzling sounds and sounds of something shifting. I think there was some snow in the chimney. Hope it is gone now. Wouldn't want it to drop suddenly into the fireplace.

magpie said...

meant to mention earlier, there was a one-side-antlered buck at Pix Pa a few hours ago. The other side just had one little nubby thing...

going to remove all the snow clothes out of the bathtub and replace them with ME.

See you all later on.
xo ☺

stronghunter said...

Poop shoot facials?????

magpie said...

It's a great story, Shirley...
when one of us would reach 100, or 200, or 300 posts like that, Wanda would do us a makeover....she can explain it much better!
turned us all into beautiful creatures. There had been a story somewhere on some news place, about poop being used as a facial...something like that.

bubbles are ready for drowning now,
TTFN

magpie said...

BIRD POOP THAT IS, NOT PEOPLE POOP !!!! LOL

Costume Lady said...

MARGY, I am not sure what happened to the POOP SHOOT FACIALS...I think they may be gone with the wind. I didn't remove them, but don't think they are there now.
I think it was NIGHTENGALE POOP that was suppose to work wonders on the face.
Shirley, we heard about the Poop Facial from, maybe Dana. So instead of giving WAX everytime someone commented at 100-200-300, etc. I gave them POOP SHOOT FACIAL and posted a photo of their new apperance after the FACIAL. I know, CRAZY, but we had fun with it:) Paula was the first one to receive the facial, and it worked so well on her face that it turned her into a BABY...that was the first photo:)

hedgie said...

Hi again. A nap and a nice warm bath does wonders!!
Oh, no, poop shoot facials again....what a hoot that was!
Shirley, now you know how truly deprived you've been of hilarious antics!!Yes, think it was Nightengale poop----method came out of China, if I remember correctly!!
Margy, your Blazer looked like it was thoroughly de-pooped!! Good pics!
Judie, SO glad that you were able to keep Frank from trying to shovel. Wondering how in the world I am ever going to get out of here------Bill has been plowing the shopping center continuously with our friend Frank since midnight last night. (Owner of center leaves truck here---he's in Westminster,MD---and then pays Bill to plow the lot. He also gets free use of the truck the rest of the year whenever needed for hauling, as it's much bigger than his Avalanche which is just like mine.)

stronghunter said...

Okay, I have not understood the WAX thing, either. So much I don't know about.

Judie said...

Hey Margy. Nope. No herbal thingies. Just a red liquid in a corked bottle. Not an option with meds. Blankets and heater are it!

Diann, adorable grandson. A real keeper.

Saw the one-sided buck at PixPa. Was eating but seemed a bit nervous. All else seems quiet. Even Diego is out and about somewhere.

Wanda, I need a makeover, please! I feel as if I'm at the 300 mark. Really in serious need.

Turning my light out but leaving the night light on for others. Andy, so happy you are having such a lovely time. Please continue to enjoy. If you have time, please set the alarm at the end of your day.

Sweet snow cone dreams.

Hedgie, your Bill has been busy busy busy!

It's kinda nice to ponder all the independent snow-plowers making some extra money right....knock off some bills, keep the wolf from the door for awhile, and have a little for the babies and the sweethearts for Christmas, maybe?

Margy, plowing is SO physically hard----having to constantly raise and lower and turn the blade----hydraulics are great but the controls are stiff, and it really causes him pain. The lot is really such a big job, and I hate to even ask him to come do my driveway. I prefer to assume that he will....he always has before, but we haven't had anything enough to need plowing for 3 yrs.!

And I have seen Andrew about 10 minutes since I got to Bluefield yesterday. He promises to spend the tomorrow evening, night and Monday with us. I did get a hug. He tried to do the one armed hug but I made him give it up!

stronghunter said...

Yeah, I think it has stopped here, too.

hedgie said...

Yep, Shirley, it's not only long, but also circular!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Wow, I totally forgot about the poop shoot facials!

Mema Jo said...

I watched a Hallmark Christmas movie.
I love those shows.
Melissa and crew are doing fine...
Played in the snow - Kristen had talked to them earlier before she
called me.

Jenny is off work now until after Christmas - Charlie will be over
tomorrow with snow blower.. Next door neighbor did a good bit. I need someway to repay him - some homemade comfort food.

stronghunter said...

Hi Jo! Sounds like a good way to repay.

I Googled nightingale poop facials. All kinds of hits on that one.

stronghunter said...

Getting very sleepy. Going to go up to my warm, snuggy roost. See you tomorrow.

PIX Cam - feeder about ready to go off and spread the grains... Buck is right there and it will probably scare him off

Mema Jo said...

It scared the buck off big time.. I wonder if he will return for the feed.

Looks like some more snow is falling up in PA woods.

Snowfall Totals

Ms Bookworm said...

Good late night, everyone!
Slept for a while, then woke up, and have been catching up on the blog. Really impressed by the pictures of all the snow. Margy, the snowfall totals just blow me away! Feel really sorry for the homeless people back there, and hope they have found someplace to shelter for the night. Hope our eagles have, too!
Judie, glad to hear that Frank/Darth decided not to shovel snow! Brrrrr! A job better left to college student--God bless him!
Hope you are able to get warmed up nicely. I have the same problem when the weather's cold, but it's because of one of my blood pressure meds. It slows down circulation to your extremities, and when my hands and feet are really cold, the rest of me feels frozen! I'm really thrilled for you that you got your grades posted and can relax now, for a while. Hope your foot and leg are feeling much better.
Lynne, hope your arm is doing well--hope no ill effects from shoveling snow!
Well, it's pretty late, so better go get some more sleep. Will talk to you in the morning. Prayers being said for everyone, and for the blizzard situation back there.
Sleep warm and snugly! Love you guys! :o]

Good Morning Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s.

One eagle at BWO.

Watching to see what happens as morning is breaking at OUR nest.

Mits
On the snowfall list, I see 24" for your town...think that is the highest except some of the more Southern and SW Virginia Counties ☺

magpie said...

Norma !
When you check in:

My mailman made it through yesterday: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺ ☺

Thank You !

magpie said...

EAgle at BWO has Chow!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING MARGY,
I'm thinking Lib and Belle are sitting on a branch above the nest wondering where all that POOP SHOOT came from:):)

magpie said...

When you go from BWO to BWE and back, you sometimes have to hit the refresh button to get the current view

Costume Lady said...

Our Journal carrier made it through and she is going to get a special THANK YOU Christmas gift!

magpie said...

Wanda! ROFLMBO ! ♥

Good Morning, Morning Glory ☺

magpie said...

Do you EVER sleep in ?

magpie said...

Two at BWO now

Costume Lady said...

NEVER SLEEP IN...don't want to miss a minute of a new day:)

magpie said...

Wanda, it just occurred to me,
Tigger, Tiger...Great ☺

Costume Lady said...

It looks like something has been in our nest, or maybe snow has fallen from a branch above.

Costume Lady said...

YOU GOT IT!:)

magpie said...

Well, Wanda, that's a good philosophy, and you sure see a lot of OUR Eagles that way ☺

magpie said...

I was thinking same thing about the nest. I put a morning empty nest pic on the album

glo said...

Good morning everyone. That would be lots of poop shoot Wanda:-) LOL

I reckon most of you will be staying inside unless you have 4 legged friends or you are the motor behind the shovel or the hand behind the snow blower. Stay warm and safe. I am getting ready for coffee and donuts and church for Christmas Sunday the music will be awesome today and well the pastor will do his job very well too, he always does. "This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it". God bless you all with a sense of His peace today. So many need to feel that.

magpie said...

Good Morning Glo
Love that verse...thank you, nice way to start things out

Last Sunday of Advent...

Bet you two will be well-bundled up today....☺

Costume Lady said...

Morning Glo:)
I'm going to join the Capt. in a cup of coffee, then dress in outdoor clothes and boots and grab some photos of the woods. I love to walk the woods and see what animals have visited us after a snow...tracks are so telling. Gene says there will be no tracks in this deep stuff! We'll see:)

magpie said...

Well, Tiger Tracks for sure!

magpie said...

looks like lots of feetsie tracks in the snow at BWE

Costume Lady said...

Our preach says that every Sunday, upon dismissing the congregation. Always glad to hear those words, they are uplifting and means CHURCH IS OVER!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD ONE, MARGY;) (tiger tracks)

Costume Lady said...

PREACH....sorry, that should be PREACHER.

magpie said...

When grandson spends the night here, when he wakes up, he always says "It's the Morning, It's the Day."

Eagle in the nest at BWE -
remember to hit that refresh button

magpie said...

forget that for now, gone

Good morning! George came and told me that I had to get up and feed him.

No snow plow on our street yet. Will has done a beautiful job on the driveway.

Blue jays are in my backyard.

Talked with Rus last night. He's bringing his girlfriend again. This is a first--girlfriend for two holidays. Maybe a good sign. We will have a full house. I will have to tell Susan that she will be my roommate. I do not think she will mind at all.

magpie said...

Hi Shirley !
Bet Susan won't mind a bit !

Beautiful deer in snow at PIX PA

stronghunter said...

Morning, Margy!

stronghunter said...

I expect Susan will be spending some time with her boyfriend. His parents live in the Fredericksburg area, though.

stronghunter said...

With the sun shining on the eagle nest, it looks to me like there might have been a landing on the snow mound.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good morning little snow bunnies! How are you?

stronghunter said...

Very snowy in the PA woods.

ceil said...

Good morning. Two beautiful eagles at BWO and the snow behind them Have a great day

stronghunter said...

Morning, Ceil. Pretty scene at BWO.

hedgie said...

Two eagle lovelies in BWO nest. E nest looks like someone HAS been there, but not right now. Think the osprey need to tell the eagles to "go to your own nest!"
No evidence that Belle and Lib have been home since the snow fell.

Good morning all. 24 degrees and sunny here.

magpie said...

Hi Ceil, Hi Sharon, and Hello Again Shirley...
Wanda is getting ready to go tromping in the woods, and make some Tiger Tracks.
