I've been outin the garden for a while this morning, feeding the birds,etc. Saw 2 of my hummingbirds this morning, they are battling over a feeder outside my window as I type this. OH, I see that eagle, I'm looking forward to seeing it in person. That platform is along the road you drive in to access the visitor's center area. The last time I was at BW the visitor's center was real small, the new large one is off in the distance behind the osprey platform.
Can't wait to go next Saturday, Megan, been thinking about it since the spring! This time next weekend we'll be there!

Well, I am still half asleep cause I never even saw that coming!! Trying to make a grocery list, will spent tonite and some of tomorrow cooking meals to freeze for next week. Have to work every day. Have to get a fresh batch of BW chocolate chip cookies ready sometime, too. I'll give you somegas money for the trip- okee dokee..

Mits if I have it right the infotech eagle site was the one in British Columba/Sidney. Remember the 2 ealgets and the nest towards the end looked like it was falling down. The tree usually moved back and forth with the wind.
When you go to that site now it shows an Africa cam in South Africa.

Mits, that was a very popular sight...originally the Hornby Island eagle pair, but their eggs didn't hatch, so they found a new nest to put on the cam...link is on the momsters site, too.

Yes, I remeber that site, always watched it. Did not know that they had switched, just went thru wavelit site to get Africa.
They looked to the right and dissappeared. All gone eagles at BW!!
Mei and Tai are in Tians' yard getting treats.
Mits that is the same site as when you go through where we watched the Grizzles at the Falls. Pete's pond is down at this time but that is also where you see this same Africa cam where elephants are drinking.

I was on Wavelit - I just don't know that Bullfrogs would be in that pond - It sounded like frogs BUT on the other hand it could have been long necked ducks! Had to turn the sound way down & then completely off.
On that site - I love watching the Hummers. They really get a lot of them.
I'm thinking that since I decided to stay down the ocean this week, I might try to join the group at BW next week. Probably will pass hubby coming down, but he can relax on beach if it is nice til I get back.

NORMA Maggie is 7 and a half weeks old now. She started to turn over from her stomach to back last Saturday and is quite happy with herself when she does it. I did see this with my OWN eyes, because I did not believe it.

Norma, Tai is on DE Fonz Cam 2 and he is sleeping between 2 of the large downed tree limbs/ Looks like a little angel now - which we know he is NOT.
NOW I really think it is Tian sleeping on the logs after a close up of him and his teeth. Can't imagine why Tai wouldn't be with Mei & having his frozen treat......... Unless he is up in the tree.

I don't think I sent her the pics, I sent them to eagles moms, maybe someone from the group sent it to her, because it was exactly the same time and pic as mine. No rain, clouds came over and wind picked up, dropped temps into the mid 60's They are setting up chairs and an arch for a wedding on the beach. FYI!!! Don't have your wedding on the beach, the weather here can turn on a dime. It was soooo beautiful this a.m. and it is sooo nasty now. All that money for hair, dresses and makeup, why would anyone do that when the clouds could just open up and ruin everything.
Going to tke a shower and get ready for Mass, and then take myself out to dinner again. TEE_HEE! I like my company. We get along just nicely, thank you very much.

Well Sharon. Youa re in luck with the ironing board so far LOL. Sorry though the iron went the first day LOL. Think more people use irons than ironing boards. I do still have a small travel iron and a small counter top ironing board here. I do actually iron but it is Very rare

I did happen to catch Frieda feeding her eyasses this afternoon, and you could see a lot of darker feathers along the wingtips or perhaps under the wings of the young. They mature really quickly in Peregrines.

Hi JO I went to Liquid Assets, they know me there, because my sister-in-law is one of their wine distributers. Had fish and chips. The place was jammed packed with people. Went to 5:30 p.m. Mass, so I cam sleep in tomorrow. I really like the priests down here, they keep it short and sweet!! Still very mild tonight,
