Well that was a fast visit by the eagle at BW.
I think that was Tian on cam #1 for a bit, looked like he was just lying there eating a piece of vege.
That might be Tian on cam#1 eating bamboo now, while Mei and Tai are on Cam #2 together.

Hope to be back here later this evening, haven't been able to be on much from home, finally found out that a virus is causing problems on my computer at home...so hopefully can clean it out and get on here later....

Normabyrd, don't feel badly about not being able to get LunLun's cam, I tried everything on my newer laptop computer and still can't get it! But my husband's computer, which is not as good as mine can get it, not even the newest media player on his either and it works, GO FIGURE THAT OUT!
I think Tai is trying to rest and the bamboo keps hitting him!

Dana, you and Sharon have me hooked on Buta Buta now. I love her. Its a good thing we have Mits to keep this blog in line. I have always believed in the power of prayer, and the word says that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Helen, I know that God delivered my nephew, CJ, from the jaws of death and Satan had no power to destroy him while he served his year in Iraq. When his little buddies were blown up right before Chirstmas in the mess hall at Mosul, CJ was asleep under his truck. He said that he was so sleepy that he decided to go without supper and catch as he called it "a few zzz's." If he had decided to eat supper he would have been gone with the rest of his unit. I know that God kept him and delived him home safely. God has a plan for his life as he does for Johnathan, but we have to be diligent and stand in the gap for our soliers, all of them. love donna

Well Lun Lun has takent hat "Sometimes you got to sit on your kid a little personaly", but overall she's not doing too bad either. She loves her little one that is obvious.
What about Freida and that wind. Belle sitting on them eggs and eaglets through all that bad weather. Just kinda awesome over and over right before our very eyes.

Paula My eye is just a little bit bloodshot still. Not sore anymore, and not much drainage in the morning even. i think it will heal itself the rest of the way now. Thanks for asking. Had an "opthamologist technician at the garage sale today." As she was paying I said So what do you think about my eye?" She chuckled at me and then looked at it. Told me to go get some liquid tears and wash it out today and tomrrow, and if it didn't clear up the rest of the way to get into see someone tomorow afternoon. She needed to have seen it Monday!!! it really is cleairng up but I did wash it out with liquid tears and will do it again in the morning.
Gonna let my dogs out for last time and get in a nice warm bath for a hwile. Still getting warm ...Seriously...going down in the 30's tonight. Covered a couple of palnts outside LOL
I think a good cup of tea would be in order!

Yea, I'm sure it'll work out fine- they'll be so glad just to be out of school. had to make hubby's coffee and set timer for morning, he has to have coffee to get going, never touch the stuff myself. hate to think how many times I've done that, let's see say 20 years ,then 365 days in a year-whoa never mind don't wanna know.that's a lot of coffee. The cam actually moves around and is taking a close-up shot of 2 ducks in the pond. Don't put your volume up too loud, the birds are kinda noisy.

hello all... a little better now...
mauley yes, i've had migraines since i was 22. they run in my family, as does epilepsy (don't have that, thankfully!). the first two migraines put me in the ER; i only had one a year or 18 months, but as my health has deteriorated they've become more frequent, 4-5 times a year. usually, though, i just get these really bad "monster" headaches, like today.
fundraiser found out from Jody today that we'll get $2000 from the fundraiser. it's a whole lot less than the $10k we were led to believe (only 200 people came, as opposed to the expected 600), but we'll take anything they want to give us, and we'll take it with a great big smile! we're going to try to put in some trees with irrigation and maybe build a couple of aviaries. Lenore, the raven, sure could use a better one. She needs more space to jump around, more things to play on and with (she's very playful)and a little pool or something to splash around in (loves baths)...
cold weather food I grew up in Denver, and it gets really cold there, believe it or not. the average high temperature in winter is 5 degrees F. that's not counting the wind chill from screaming arctic currents! anyway, there are a couple of soups my mom made that really are perfect "warm you up" soups. I'll type up recipes and post them on the group site, maybe you can try them this winter for a change of pace. Tell me what you think about them if you do!
wavelit africam what a cool cam! isn't it just mind-boggling that we can sit at home and watch wildlife half a world away??? neat ducks in the pond right now... speaking of which, duck releases are some of my favorites... you spend all that time raising and/or rehabilitating them and then send them out on their own, and after a minute they start taking Superbaths and then make a little flotilla and swim away....it's just so much fun and peaceful

Suzanne you know your going to put a lower bowl out there hee hee. I had a high bird bath and some baby squirrels couldn't reach it. So I did the same found I had alot of animals drinking out of the lower dish; squirrels, rabbits, opossums, ground hog, doves love it lower and lots of other birds also liked the lower one than the higher one. Thought that was odd.
Good morning Dana and Doreen- spiders, EWWW, they give me the creeps. This time of the year they are all trying to get into the house to escape the cold. My reaction is scream and squish!
