I haven't heard anything from Nilla today at all. I thought maybe she is still resting alot. That is why I didn't call her. Yes I too am wondering why she didn't come in for awhile.
I keep using as much as I can Internet Explorer but when I have too I use FireFox..don't like it but they stopped the windows updates for my (yes old) ME.....

Yep the lights are dimmed on Lun Lun, they know its beddie bye time ont he East Coast. Sorry so many of you are having toruble with the cam. I just use the link on the Atlanta Zoo website. I can get it on Media player but I have discoverd two things take me out really quickly, Media player and Fraps. I don't have a cle why so I don't know how to tell you to fix it. I don'r have Firefox though . I have Norton and it doesn't bother my computer at all. seems to work wonderfully for me.
Gonna say good night, and play some solitaire for a while. I BLOG at you in the morning. Hope everyone rests well, and that we hear from Nilla very soon.

Yes, two unfortunate drownings today about 20 blocks north of me. A father and his 3 teenage daughters from Columbia, MD were in the surf. One swam to shore, one got rescued by an off-duty beach patrol person. The dad went to rescue the other daughter and drowned, his body has been recoverd and the daughter died at Atlantic General Hospital There have been high rip-current warnings all week. With the change of seasons and the storms out in the Atlantic, it is very dangerous to even wade in the ocean. I saw absolutely no one in the ocean today.

Sorry i was not on any today and making this alittle short also.. Been sleeping alot, i got some mail from Winchester Hospitol today with another card to carry with me about what they put in my heart on tuesday.. and also the Femoral artery.. Still having the fainting feeling most of the time as if falling off a cliff.. Dont know whats causing that still... but if it doesnt go away soon, as i am afraid to even drive will go back to doctors... Maybe tomarrow i will feel better... Hugs, Nilla

You should definitely let your doctor know about the dizziness ... it could just be your medications. Many heart meds have that as a possible side effect.
I had one for a short time that turned me bright red and blotchy on the face and neck.
Get the rest and some nourishment. I hope you feel better very soon.

Iyases have seen 3 chicks tonight. Iyases just checked back in after she stopped squashing the one. Now she is back to squashing it again. So Iyases don't know what uases is talking about when you want to know about the eyases...weases understand this right

When I typed in the other spelling it came back it is spelt eyases.

"Eyas," as far as I can tell in AOL's Webster, is the singular and plural for a nestling bird, especially a hawk.

mema jo, mits, etc. one baby falcon is an EYAS (British spelling is EYASS); more than one are "EYASSES" it's more specifically used in reference to a falcon or hawk chick taken from the nest to be trained in falconry, but "eyas" and "chick" can be used interchangeably....

I did go to Hugo's page the other day, it's got some message on it in German, which I don't know... floralgirl I can empathize with you about TMJ -- technically, I was born with a "dentofacial deformity", the right side of my lower jaw is shorter than the left, and my entire lower jaw is tilted downward and to the right... you can't really tell, though, unless you're looking at a photograph of me straight on. I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears) all the time and frequent headaches on the right side of my head, because the misaligned joint irritates the nerve... my chiropractor does what she can, but it's not much... I have a made a few pinecone wreaths myself, I use the wire-ring wreath forms and florist's wire and put each 'cone on individually, then add lights, whatever... I love to use those cinnamon 'cones but have to be careful I don't rub my eyes unless I've washed my hands! LOL
sharon I sure hope they figure out how to correct your sister's arrhytmia... are they talking about putting in a pacemaker? I sure hope she gets better soon, being in the hospital just plain sucks... I know...

jim sorry you have a cold -- it's the pits! FLUIDS FLUIDS FLUIDS!!! Orange juice or apple juice are okay, but Gatorade is better (less sugar), at least for short-term. And if you're blowing your nose a lot, get a washcloth damp with hot water, put over your nose and mouth for a few seconds, then splash with cold water, then apply Vaseline... it will help keep the skin from being so irritated and from cracking :-) Bag Balm works well, too, if you don't mind the smell (doesn't bother me)... feel better!

Eaglet in the NU nest!
Okay, Tai and Mei report this morning. Mei was over at the door down on all fours. Tai climbed up on her back and put his head through the hole in the door. He was about halfway through the hole and Mei came over and pulled him back through the hole and let him drop to the floor. It was the funniest thing. I tried to frap it but my frapper went nuts and did get but a picture of his butt sticking out from the hole.

Good Morning all. I don't have any idea what picture if any is going to post this morning or how it will look. Worked on something last night but I can't remember if I saved the final project, or we get something different.
Pulled up Blackwater Cam. There they are again. Didn't have time to watch them yesterday but Mits took pretty good care of me , so I shall snap this and send it off to her while I have a chance.
Talked with someone at NCTC yesterday and they were saying that this is the time the eagles scope out their nests for next season. Do they still feel safe? Is it in good enough shape and needs slight repair, food source etc. I think that is why we see the eagles in the blackwater cam so much...they are hanging in that area now. I think Liberty and Belle are doing the same. In fact I know the "Male" has been spotted on the nest a few times recently which is Great News for us.
Thanks for stopping by the store Suzanne Yes I am having a wonderful time creating things with Todd's pictures. So much easier to work with than the small still cam, but then again the still is our only access to the wee ones in the nest.
Upgrading to the Premium Shop has given all of us inumerable chocies and as you can see i am making good use of the time I have that shop open.

This blog is driving me crazy!Hope someone hears from Nilla- worry about her.Hey Birdgirl yea, I too have had a lifetime of jaw problems-even had surgery about 20 years ago where they reconnected one of the tendons, that held for about 3 yrs. then problems resurfaced. Always trying to pop my eardrums, feel it's just something I will be stuck with the rest of my life. Try to have less stress in my life(ha!), a lifetime of it has apparently been played out on my jaw.(teeth grinding)Suzanne- I can't beleive all the eagles you are seeing- makes up for all that commuting time you suffer through. Mountain Heritage is a good idea, haven't been in yrs. it has always been a very nice craft festival. Going outside to see if I can find enough flowers in my garden to make market this weekend. Tough week with no sun..
