Jo-MD 10:25am Monday They sure made a quick meal with all 3 getting their bellies filled. Can't get over 'Spunky', the littlest one, getting right in there. I bet she is a female due to her agressiveness! I really enjoyed seeing 'Big Boy' earlier trying to dry his wings - He was actually airborne for a few brief seconds. I think that 'Mr Inbetween', 2nd oldest, is ok. I just don't think he liked getting wet in the rain & the temperatures are really cool (cold)! The adult eagles have a schedule on their feedings - almost the same time each day.
Yeah, the little one got his/her belly full. Was getting worried but I guess I would be like that too if I was wet and cold! I absolutely love these babies!
2 pm Monday: Just watched Mom feeding all 3 eaglets. She made sure everyone got some lunch. It amazes me how nice these eaglets eat together at times, no bickering and pecking. It may have to do with the fact that they are all relatively the same size...it gets harder to tell them apart each passing day...
Momma just brought something that was still living - couldn't really tell what it was though- to the nest. It tried to get away and one of the eaglets snagged it and took it down. That was pretty awesome to watch. I think it might be a fish but am not sure.
Mommy and daddy both brought the food this morning. I have noticed that Mommy takes the food from daddy as soon as he gets there with it. I don't know what they are eating this morning but I don't think it is fish. There has been a lot of self-feeding by the eaglets too. Still loving these babies!!!

You saw the littliest one eat? I was getting nervous that she wasn't eating. I'm glad she's doing well! Thank you!

4:45 pm Monday -
All 3 eaglets just finished another good feeding...these parents are doing a great job of keeping up with those appetites!
Lots of wing flapping too after that meal. I can imagine if all 3 were flapping at once, they may knock each other out of the nest.
Steve, what would you estimate their wing span to be at this point in their development?
