656 am NN - Here comes Scout. Fish is still there and he's debating if he should eat it. He gives in and starts picking at it still watching to make sure Bella isn't coming to claim it. 741 I love the little hop that he did from the one side
of the nest to the middle.
757 am NN - Scout still guarding the nest. Calling out.
807 another hop across the nest didn't quite make it to the other side
808 am NN - Scout finally exits the nest after eating most of the fish.
816 am NN - Scout comes back to the nest. Moves a few sticks, covers remaining fish and stands guard.
831 am NN - Scout takes off.1103 am - ON - Scout lands on the original/old nest (ON). He flies up to the top of the lookout post (LOP). 1117 am - Crop drop.
1135 am - ON - Still perched on top of the LOP.
1147 am - ON - Scout stretches then exits from the LOP.
Bella we miss you hope you come home .
114 pm - Old and New Nest
ON - Hello Bella!! Bella flies in and lands on top ofthe (LOP).
NN - Then Scout arrives to the new nest. They arrived almost at the same time but to different nests. 116 pm Scout grabs the remaining fish and starts to eat it. He calls out in response to Bella's calls. Bella is not happy that Scout is eating the fish yet she stays put and does not drop down into the new nest.
120 pm - ON - Bella while perched on top of the LOP, looks down and calls out a Scout briefly.
128 pm - NN - Scout has eaten all the fish, what a rascal. He cleans his beak and arranges some sticks and moves some bedding.
130 pm - NN to ON - Scout exits the new nest and joins Bella at the old nest.
131 pm - ON - Scout moves to the short post, Bella remains perched on top of the LOP.
144 pm - ON - Bella does a shuggle, shaking out of her coat feathers. I just love it when they zip their feathers. She continues to perch on top of the LOP. 145 pm Scout moves from the short post to the nest. He does some restorations Bella watches him. 147 pm Scout exits the old nest.
148 pm - NN - Scout arrives to the new nest.
155 pm - NN - Scout has a nice crop.
2 pm - NN - Scout works on the cri rails near 3. The center of the nest looks nice and cozy from all the straw that has been spread about.
204 pm - NN - Scout exits from the front porch he flies toward the river.
210 pm - ON - Bella remains perched on top of the LOP.
225 pm - ON - Bella remains perched on the LOP. Heard what sounded like gunshots earlier, it is hunting season so not unexpected.
228 pm - ON - Bella exits from the LOP she flies toward the road then out of view I do believe she is giving him the cold shoulder. I wish you would find a new mate. I just don't trust him just my humble opinion. If you have a opinion, there's a comment section at the very bottom of each blog data.
They both flew in about the same time both nest below.
NCTC is working on the drag that is showing up on the camera snip below.
