Where, oh where, did our dear LOLLY go. As I recall she and Jack are joining her sibs in S.E. Texas where they and their fellow H.S. alumni will be celebrating. Also recall that Jack is not entirely keen on this event, but he and a bil can keep each other company while the others get together. LOLLY, did I get it right ? It comforts me if I prove that the ol' brain can remember such things---if not, tell me and I'll work harder on Lumosity and other brain exercises !

Hard to tell if they are being feed I see no shadows but could be position of sun not causing them but I see two moving gray fuzzy bobble heads moving and it wuld be hard to see two with the size of the cup that is exposed
Hi all! Have been watching our chicks and I can say with 100% certainty that, based on the little we are able to see right now, it is entirely possible that there are still 3 babies in our nest! How's that for not committing to anything!
You won't believe this and unlike CarolAnne, I'm not keeping my news a secret. My realtor friend called me about an hour ago to say that she has a full price cash contract on Mom's condo! The first person who came to see it this morning is buying it! Apparently a church in the area buys ground floor condos for their elderly members (I'm guessing maybe the church rents them at a reasonable price for someone living on a fixed income). Settlement will be at the end of April or early May! Can you believe that??!!
I am taking this as a sign that Mom knows Lisa and I have been through a lot and she is making sure this part of the ordeal is very easy for us.
My realtor is even going to ask if the church would want to make an offer on the living room and dining room furniture. One of Mom's neighbors, a young couple who own a dog named Zoey who adored Mom and came to visit her just about every day, would like the bedroom furniture (when they stopped over last Sunday to visit, we told them they could take anything they wanted/needed that wasn't already spoken for). I know that Mom would love it that Carolyn and Tony have some of her things.
I also have a young man coming at 6:30 this evening to look at Mom's car. I taught him as a 6th grader and now he's a freshman in college. His car was just hit by an uninsured driver and he needs an inexpensive car to drive to work and college.
Exciting day! Probably won't get back on the blog tonight so I'll say goodnight to everyone now.
WOW WOW GREAT NEW all the way around SANDI congratulation on all of it When it rain it pours and you are getting a soaking And I know your mom is smiling now Happy things are working out
I did remember about Gary...while I was driving.....Shirley Joplin's Gary....yes, and also praying for Kate's Mom, Larry, Charlie...and mighty host of others
Good to hear the Audrey and Grace got A's on their exams, Judie
I have returned and I am going to put my feet up.. Surgery for the cataract removal is April 25, Friday... It will correct my distance vision and my astigmatism with blurs my vision in my left eye..
Im another month or so we will do the right eye. I better be able to see the eagles up in the thermals.
Not sure what happened next door. I looked out to see a fire truck and an ambulance. I saw Pam walking back towards the house, but before I got my shoes and went back out, she was gone.
Hunter said they took her husband away in the ambulance. He and some friends were outdoors playing nearby.
Will need to keep my eyes open to see when/if she returns so I can go over and check on things.
Kay, you are sharp as a tack! You go girl!! You had that all correct, except we are going to Kerrville in the Texas hill country. I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley. That is on the border way down in the farthest tip of Texas. Many of our hs graduates live in the Kerrville area and they started up this reunion. It is good...only 4 hours for us to drive. Takes twice that to get to the Valley. I was actually born in a little town, Alamo. And, make that...I was born at home in a house that was in the country, south of Alamo. Just a few miles further south and I woulda speaka the espanol!!! ☺
It seems so long since we have had 3 chicklets in our nest. I think the last trio was, Pearl, Middy and Tiny...3 or 4 years ago?? It was such fun having 3 to watch interact...remember Pecking Pearl? :) MARGY'S visit to our Soup Kitchen last evening was great! She helped me in the Closet and we had some wonderful chat time. I needed that so badly...need more! Hope to be able to get together with some more of you at a GIRLS DAY OUT! It was so good to see all of you that were able to come to Captain Gene's memorial, but I was not able to sit and chat with you...hope we will have a get-together when our chicklets get a little older and bigger. Love to you all ♥
LOLLY, whew, I guess I get about a B+ on the test ! I should have recalled the "hill country" as I spent some time there back when Lee's family lived in College Station. Most times flew in and out of Austin and sometimes took a scenic route to their house. We also took some day trips on each of those visits and I had s.i.l. in Bastrop.
SANDI, your news has me jumping up and down with joy ! You're mom is already your guardian angel and doing her best for you and Lisa ! God knew he could promote her without hesitation !
WANDA, so happy you and our dear MARGY had some time together. Thanks for the memories attached to our last trio ! We know Shep and Belle can do triple duty, too !
Pecking Pearl was before my time on the blog, but I would love to see three little ones this year. Maybe that will help to make up for not being able to see the whole nest.
Oh my, we have some kind of moth or something flying at the cam.
LOLLY, not too sure Bastrop is considered to be in "hill country" as it's a bit southeast of Austin. I know Kerrville is at the heart of it. There are some quaint German towns with great food in the region. My favorite Texas food was Bar-b-que from a little hole in the wall place between Austin and Lexington. Most trips had to drop in at an Austin Soul Food eatery, too. Good and yummy memories. Enjoy the trip and your former classmates !!

found out today that the house my parents lived in was leveled along with garage and the other building that they used as a storage use to be a small house Sort of sad I got a message on my answering machine from my sister just letting me know!
Oh, my, moods turn on a dime--Ft. Hood tragedy, White Rock accidental egg breaking, HODA's initial reaction to the cleanse....
Then my dear Joplin Shirley called. The doctors at Baylor have not been able to bring Gary out of the chemically induced coma. They've discovered that during the surgeries for the blood clot and internal bleeding he had multiple strokes. His right side functions and his speech center are severely damaged and, if he lives, he will be blind. I'm devastated, but you can imagine what shape Shirley is in. Prayers upon prayers, especially now for her, please. Tomorrow she will be getting further word about the prognosis, but at this point it seems he's on life support with no hope of living a life with any quality to it. I'll let you prayer partners know as soon as I know more.
Oh Shirley, I should have anticipated that George and Audrey would communicate. Audrey is Darth's assistant. She sorts papers, edits his computer work, rearranges the shredding stack, and walks across the keyboard to add her own comments. I'll try to keep them from plotting against us. lol
I am just going to say that I am not sure how many eaglets there are but I am really grateful we can see even 1 is still there. I'll take whatever I can get at this point.
Blessed Be KAY Blessed Be. So sorry to read this news about your friend's son.
Very disturbing the events in Fort Hood. SO sorry to read your comments and I send prayers.
Thank you all and JUDIE you make some very good points. An ambulance is just as close at the Lake House as it is to my flat. If I was to require medical care they can get to me here just as fast as they could to the flat.
I would very much like to have a strong cup of tea usually it fixes everything!!! I will hold off on that though...
Finished two small bowls of vegetable soup and all is well... This is the pre-cleanse and my Ayurvedic doctor wrote it is to be expected...My medical doctor did not discourage me when I told her I was going to do this...she told me I was as strong as a horse and laughed!!!
So this horse is going to take herself to bed and hope for a better day tomorrow, for all of us.
Aha, so that is what has come over George recently. He has been in cahoots with Audrey. He has become very needy. I put him out of my room about 4:00 this morning when he decided it was time to get up and fix his breakfast.

Goodorming my eagle friends. Live feed is running, I have sound, but can't see a thing - maybe a little bit of an adult eagle but that's all. I haven't even turned the cam on at school this year b/c the kids wouldn't see much of anything. Maybe once they start moving around the nest.
Hoda, you are a sensible person so I know you will put an end to this cleanse if it continues to make you feel worse rather than better. Good luck.
Lolly, happy trails to you and Jack - enjoy the reunion!
Kay, I am so sorry to hear about Gary. Prayers for him and for Shirley as she makes decisions about next steps for him.
Margy, thanks for the news that Carolyn was able to bring Charlie home. Despite his injuries, I know he'll feel better being in his own place than in a hospital.
Jo, hope you're feeling better today as well.
Janet, how did the meeting with Livvy's teachers go?
Prayers continue for Larry and for Kate and her mom as well.
Oh, I checked on the eagle nest across the marsh from the house last night. They have eaglet(s) !! Can't tell how many at this point, but there was feeding occurring. Dad was keeping guard watch from a nearby tree :)

JudyE, be mindful of how much time you sit at McD. You might get kicked our for overstaying your welcome. Oh, and now I see a butt laugh.
Kay, you are the mistress of puns. So clever.
C/A, I think I figured out the secret. You are putting together a caravan of vehicles to make a journey to the East coast. Yes?
Got back and can't see anything but an eagle shadow. Grrrrr.
Yes, Lolly. Where are you two headed. Oh, maybe the new RV is going to join up with C/A convoy.
Okay, going to make another check on the nest, then point my toes to the ceiling for a few before heading to the scullery.

Hoda, I know I'm overstepping, but your reaction to this cleansing stuff has me very concerned. Please consider rethinking this plan.
Hi Judie,
I think George has discovered that I have two hands and decided that I should be using both of them to pat him.
He has also discovered that he can walk across the new Verizon remote, change the channel and then sit on the computer mouse.
Another thought, Hoda. If you are really sick, you might want to get back to your flat so you are less remote should you need assistance quickly.
Judie, I have been think the same thing. At least get in touch with your doctor, Hoda.

Aha, so that is what has come over George recently. He has been in cahoots with Audrey. He has become very needy. I put him out of my room about 4:00 this morning when he decided it was time to get up and fix his breakfast.
Kathryn has figured it out--when George is shut out of my room, she gives him breakfast when she feeds Lucky.
Wondering if Kathryn will have traffic issues tomorrow. Likely to be extra security at Quantico.
Okay, Hoda. BUT, if you must be carried away in an ambulance, please have the medics leave a forwarding address for Sandperson. Feel better.
Ah, clever George. Sound like something he learned from Grace the Food-A-Holic.
Yes, Kathryn may have a bit of a backup getting to work. New reports it was soldier-to-soldier.
So, long day over. Need to not eat any more tonight so I can have a visit with Dracula in the a.m.
Sandperson is packing up and departing soon.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
Hope everything goes well at the Dracula place tomorrow, Judie.

Gary is Joplin Shirley's son, Jo.
I still feel very tired - Don't think my virus has totally left me.
I would like to comment to all but my eyes are drooping closed.
Just saw Carolyn's Charlie's scrapes and bruises over on FB OUCH
Prayers for his healing.

Hoda, I am concerned for you. Please contact your doctor if your feeling bad continues and end this cleansing.
Kay, so very sorry for Shirley and Gary. Prayers!
Have a few things to do before bed. Night all! Will try to comment from the road tomorrow!
SED!! Jo, hope you are feeling better tomorrow!
Have a good day.
Good morning
Parent just finished feeding two, from what I could see.
Morning, all
I am sending Steve an email about the still cam.
Oh, I checked on the eagle nest across the marsh from the house last night. They have eaglet(s) !! Can't tell how many at this point, but there was feeding occurring. Dad was keeping guard watch from a nearby tree :)
Hoda, hope you feel better today. Maybe it's just a bug and not the cleansing routine.
Kay, so sorry about Joplin Shirley's Gary. Prayers.
Eagle up, can make out 2 chicks.
Morning all,
In reference to Hoda's cleanse, Good Morning America is having a bit about cleanses this morning.
Gray skies here - rain coming
Hope everyone finds a bit of sunshine in their day.
