Kay, hope you have fun at Julie's tonight. Also checked the Berry Babe. Familiar behavior with the arrival of dark feathers: peering over the edge at the big new world to be explored.
How daring of you Jo. Outside in your nightie. lol
Lolly and Margy, thank you for the update. Do hope Charlie heals quickly.
Speaking of healing, will be anxious to have Margy's dr. report.
Bowling--we won one and lost 3, but so did our closest opponents. So we should still be ahead by one. We go head-to-head with them next week. They have lots more handicap points than we do.
Yay Shirley (: Happy bowling day for you and your team.
I have sent an e-card to Chrissy. For those who are new, she was an original and lives in England. Let her know we are aware of Isla's return and that we have two, maybe three, little eaglets. If I hear from her, I'll let you all know.
Just a thought on whether we have 2 or 3 chicks in the nest. I'll admit I have not had much time to nest-watch lately. But it seems to me that, when a parent is sitting on the nest, s/he is not in the same spot in the nest as when incubating was taking place. It appears that we are able to see even less of the adult eagle than we were seeing a week ago.
So to me, it's entirely possible that we have a chick in the NHZ and the adults are compensating for that by positioning themselves farther back in the nest than they have been. Hope that makes sense. Bottom line, count me as another optimist - I'm not willing to admit yet that we've lost an eaglet.
Will try to check in from school but I have to grocery shop this evening and still haven't even started the 3 IEPs that have to be written by next Monday, next Wednesday, and next Friday. Yikes!
Afternoon all. I finally got the cam up and all I could see was parent hiding fish w/grass and a bit of movement in the NHZ. We will just have to wait and see at this point.
Yup, Judie, he will be home this evening :) I think he wants to drive to/from treatment so he doesn't have to bother me...I told him it was no bother, and that work was understanding. So, I will be available if needed!
Belle and Shep have pushed the flugg so far "up" that it's almost impossible to see what's going on in the cup. Just saw a couple of bobbleheads, but there could well be another out of sight. Unless they are bobbing around a lot they blend right in with the flugg. It may be several weeks before we see how many eaglets rise up out of that cozy cup. At least we can kind of tell when they are feeding and that we do have a little family there.
Time for me to get some glad rags on and hie myself down to Julie's. I love her cooking so my mouth is watering even though she didn't tell me what's cookin'.
BBL or tomorrow. Meantime will hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers !
The Pittsburgh eagle nest is sure getting a lot of attention. Now they are announcing that it will be on the NBC evening news. I don't know if their 3 rd egg has hatched.
Sorry I have not been commenting but I have been watching. Bobbleheads do get around that nest cup and there does not seem to be any fighting for food. I do not hold out much hope but you never know.
Thinking of Larry, Charlie, Greg and Margy. Total healing for all!

Clues Clues Clues... I think a new Grand Child is arriving to C/A's family. That would be THE BEST surprise ever.
SANDI When is BRIAN headed back to the Yemen...one more home R&R and then home in October...We can all do this...I hope the next posting is not in Indonesia either...some upsetting stirrings out of there too.
so really odd to look at the nest and can't hardly see the eagle who is in sideways only see a little dark feathers in the cup area It looks like they almost moved the cup with all the flugg piled up from Shep earlier
good Tuesday evening to all. my break is all but over. tomorrow is my last day of vacay. it has been nice, but am mentally ready to go back.
I think the body is about ready too.
its been such a busy couple of days. yesterday I was just itching to get outside, so I did that. I was clearing the fence row with the weedeater with an attachment on it that whacks down small saplings and brush. had a great time.
I also managed to get to the laundry and wash the comforters. woo hoo. such excitement!
today, tom and I ran some errands in the morning. I wans't in the greatest mood, I didn't sleep really well last night, hot flashes and allergies. bleech. we forgot to turn the a/c back on and it was simply too warm in the house . oops. allergies. well, its just a bad year for them.
this afternoon I spent doing laundry and cleaning a bit, ran to target and bought a few things for the RV. retail therapy, you know.
livvy had ice skating tonight. one or two more classes and no more til sept when the rink reopens.
CAROLANNE; you are certainly keeping everyone guessing!

Paula, glad to hear that Larry did OK yesterday - chemo and radiation in the same day?? Yuk!

Hoda & Judie, Brian and Lynnis spent a week together in Rome from 3/25 - 3/31 but he should be back in Yemen now and Lynnis should be back in the States. He will be there til June 15th, then he's home til August 1st to be with Lynnis and Little Miss, then back to Yemen for a final 3 months. I did not hear Indonesia on his list of next posts.
Mom's condo listing went online yesterday afternoon. About 20 minutes after I got the email from the listing agent, I got a phone call that another agent wants to show the place TODAY!
Prayers for Laryy, Gary, Charlie, and for Kate and her mom.
Hope to see or hear that we have 3 chicks in our nest.

Glad Infonesia is not on the radar.

JOKER: happy birthday! Another beautiful day on tap. I have a few things to accomplish today. I have to keep reminding myself I don’t have to do it all today. More nice weather is on the way and I will have more time off. Lol. But I do want to get a few things done.
Rain in our future. We could use some. The ground looks a bit dry. I watered my hostas last night with some miracle grow water. They will now grow like crazy.
I love spring. It is so pretty, but the allergies …. Woah, the allergies. I tried a different med and increased the use of my neti pot with success. Still stuffy, but better! Hoping we will see 3 eaglets today…or hear of the third one being a-ok. Nature at its best, and then at its worst…blessed be.
Everyone have a lovely day! Light, love, hugs and smiles
Hoda, got an email from Brian this AM that he is in Turkey for today and will be back in Yemen tomorrow. As for the final leg of his 1-year tour, it's actually not a full 3 months. He will go back to Yemen on August 1st and return to the States on 10/26 until his next tour some time in 2015.
Sandperson is consumed with anxiety. Says he is wary of visiting Hoda. Fears Hoda will capture him and make him drink that "cleansing" stuff. Asked if I would look online for a portable potty with overnight shipping. Sleepy dust delivery schedule might have to be adjusted.
Delphia, hi. Scotland is the osprey nest near Dunkeld. The Lady Isla has returned. Chrissy, who lives in England, is involved with the watching/tracking of the ospreys.
E-card was sent. Have not received confirmation that the ecard was opened nor have I heard from Chrissy.
Well, saw Shep arrive and visit for a minute or two. Missed any feeding and chicks are well-hidden.
Judie - hoping that Audrey and Grace get good reports ! Your right about then not liking the ride to their appointment at the Vets. I don't think most cats do.
Hanging in there with the rest of you til' we can see how many bobbleheads emerge from the cup one day !
Penny is plumb tuckered out today. She and Malcolm had a great time last night, capped off with a brisk walk. Julie and Hugh took them out and it's so good for Penny to get an occasional workout like that. Dinner and conversation outstanding.
Today is birthday #58 for my eldest, Eileen. What ? How did that happen so fast. 1st week of April is hard on my budget ☺, with hers on the 2nd, granddaughter Lauren turning 23 on the 4th and grandson, Max reaching a quarter of a century on the 6th.
Rainy, gloomy day here. Looking forward to return of ☼ on Sunday.

Happiness is good news from my dear Momster friends !
Not so happy about MARGY's last report on CAROLYN's Charlie. Went through a broken shoulder with a mother-in-law and it's not easy. Hoping it's only a sprain ! I'm sure he feels like he got run over by a truck about now !
Both girls are healthy. Were given a three-year rabies. They were well-behaved. Now, of course, they don't know each other and are having a hissing contest.
Cannot see the little ones.
Lolly, happy "do" day.
Kay, glad everyone had a good time last night. Please do not encourage Hoda to engage in some other cleansing ritual. Sandperson has added Depends to my shopping list.
Jo should be at her consultation. Soon her days will be shiny bright.
JUDIE, good report on your hissing twosome ! I'm just encouraging HODA on the cleansing ritual she's already chosen and started on today. I read up on it and can't see the harm in it---have never known an unhealthy Hindu, but then, to my knowledge I've never known a Hindu. One of my favorite restaurants here is Indian---love the food at about a level 2 for the heat ! Do not want the Sandman to adopt that lifestyle, however, he needs to keep on the move, but in a very different way !
More food just delivered so both adults on the nest. Hear a little chirp as one chick apparently greets dad---and he flies away. Last chunk of food doesn't look like a fish, gut what ?
Kay, it's possible its one of those, but I have no idea for sure what kind of vehicle it will be. Just that there is a vehicle involved, possible more than one or one type.
Just away a few minutes and return to find that the last blob of food has been moved the NHZ, think feeding is going on. So far can only see one bobblehead.
GRRR McD PIA I had to reconnect with the free wifi Lets me on when I come in but then after maybe 20 or so min wants me to resign in and nest is still with out parent when I got back on

Hi CarolAnne. Yet another clue is presented. Hmmmmm, waiting impatiently.
Still cannot see anything at the nest other than brooding adult.
My delete. Trigger happy.
Hello to you two Splitters !

Adult off the nest

TY CarolAnne
I think there is a feeding in the NHZ
Littlest one is trying to get in there...
Fish has been moved to the NHZ as well.
I see two. I am not ready to give up on having three in the nest. We are not seeing the whole egg cup.
Kids are sleeping. Eagle at the 2 spot
On lunch and read some of the blog need to read read
STEVE on facebook says he tinks the other is in the cup we can't see
what happened to the squirrel EATEN already or buried
I think I might have seen 3. Not sure, though. Looks like Belle in the nest. Cleaned out the cup area. Looks like some shell pieces removed.
JudyE, I sent Steve an email...he's not sure how many we have either. Both vittles moved to the back of the nest as far as I could tell.
Bowling--we won one and lost 3, but so did our closest opponents. So we should still be ahead by one. We go head-to-head with them next week. They have lots more handicap points than we do.

Shep eating..chicks are snoozing
I see two for sure and no reason to think there is not another one in the part of the cup we cannot see.
Shep has all that fluff in the way...back there feeding now, I suppose. Can see the youngest head wobbling...
Oh yea, smallest getting some bites...glad to see it.
tRYING TO DECIPHER WHAT I AM SEEING...it is the shadow of the eagle....feeding is occurring!
Hi all.
Could not see any eaglets. Just big ole tail feathers and flugg.
Paula, is Larry going to stay at Paradise with his favorite nurse? Hope so.

SANDI Thank you on BRIAN'S where abouts.
I figured he would be back by now but you had not said.
Doubling prayers for his safety since I wrote to ask.
This time you said August first he is back in the Yemen for three months. That puts him there till November???
I thought exit month was Ictober??? Why the extension?
Glad Infonesia is not on the radar.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE.
good morning all!
Healing thoughts for all in need! JO: you know what you all tell me: germs hate rest….
LORI: you will do well o n this test ! I can feel it!
Good morning to all ♥
Feeling well this morning.. I am hungry. Happy the virus didn't last
Checked the cam and adult over the chicks. The flugg is a bit much but should keep them warm and dry as more rain is predicted.
Good morning,
Lovely view of the back part of an eagle at the nest. Lots of flugg there.
Glad you are feeling better this morning, Jo.
Hi Lynne--Happy birthday to Joker! George and Lucky say that he is still a mere child at 14.
Saw something about a broken shoulder for Charlie. Ugh. Not fun.
I see chicks.
Morning, all
Eagle up, wing stretch
Feeding.
Feeding time
Adult blocking view of cup, mostly. I do see one baby.
Quick check-in from school.
TTFN.
Wow, what a wing stretch that was. Both wings have now been stretches.
Stretched.
Good morning.
Did some speed reading. Audrey and Grace have to see their vet this morning. Not an easy task.
Jo, glad you are feeling okay.
Sandi, hope the inspectee offers full asking price. No hassle. Thank you for the Brian/Lynnis update.
Hope Charlie has a bad sprain not a break.
Wishing Lori the best today. Another A+ for sure. And thinking of Kate and wishing her mom a peaceful transition.
Been checking but not seeing anything other than tail feathers. Must get ready for this mornings challenge.
BBL
Good morning! Can not keep the cam going. Think I will get my ipad going.
Possible rain today and tomorrow. Pray!
Get the do done today and then load the trailer. Eating out evenings so not much to load except for clothes.
Jo, so very glad you are feeling better today. Please take it easy, drink lots of water.
Lori, know you will do well on the test today. Only a few more months to go!!! We better start on the graduation celebrations plans!!!! ☺
Watching a feeding on my iPad, saw two. The second was barely visible.
Got a pic of two.
Good morning, bird brains! :D
I have a question: are any of our Momsters/Dadsters in Scotland? Specifically Inverness?
Bird Girl
Second eagle in.
Chrissy is in England. Do not know of a momster/dadster in Scotland.
Can not see second eagle now, but can hear chit chat!
More than ever wish we had a better view. This is so frustrating.
I do believe the second eagle is still there, though out of sight, and saying "Get up...it is my turn!"
Off to eat breakfast...will watch on my ipad, but do have my computer with sound going.
Big fish was just put down. That is what all the fussing was about. Feeding going on now but from the top of the egg cup.
How can I leave to eat with so much action?
Delphia, hi. Scotland is the osprey nest near Dunkeld. The Lady Isla has returned. Chrissy, who lives in England, is involved with the watching/tracking of the ospreys.
E-card was sent. Have not received confirmation that the ecard was opened nor have I heard from Chrissy.
Well, saw Shep arrive and visit for a minute or two. Missed any feeding and chicks are well-hidden.
Need to attempt to herd the cats.
WOW, JUST MOVED THAT LARGE FISH OUT OF THE WAY. GOT TO SEE 2 CHICKS...NOW COVERED BACK UP
My cousin is going to be traveling to Scotland, and I was hoping we had a Momster where he is going to show him around. No worries :)
I saw one eaglet. I really wish they had built the nest cup more central :(
Fish jumping!! It looks partially eaten.
I guess you know it is fresh when it is still jumping.
"Cleansing stuff"--I am with the Sandperson. Makes me think of colonoscopy.
Glad Hoda is looking forward to it. She should be even more healthy than she is already. Does that mean she will become even more active.
Let's hope not! She has already put us all to shame!LOL
Hummingbird ate breakfast with me again this morning. Put pic on fb. Nice he is so dependable!
Did not see fish jumping...that is good.
I see a baby.
thanks Lolly for the 10:30 pic of the nest
Adult is not on the bobbleheads now
One little one is looking around
I think I can spot 2
So frustrating that we can't see the whole nest.
Looks like feeding is going on. Action is on the other side.
Hard to leave, but I must go get some other things taken care of. BBL.
Judie - hoping that Audrey and Grace
get good reports ! Your right about then not liking the ride to their appointment at the Vets. I don't think most cats do.
I had it on full screen - I was startled when the adult flew in -
First thing is to get a talon full of flugg and cover them up.
Leaving now to get do done. Wow, big wad of flugg just delivered to the nest. Sound is so good today, heard bobbleheads chirping!
Later Gators!
Good Morning Eagle Buds !!!
I will make the statement official
I greatly detest the NHZ
Getting ready for a 1:00 eye appointment to discuss the Cataract
Lens... Just a sit down consultation
on the type of new lens needed.
BBL
Good afternoon everyone.
Thank you Steve for the video.
JO, happy with your health and welfare message today !
JUDIE, happy with the Sandman0--he took your ♥ to ♥ talk to ♥ ! Hope the kitties come home with a clean bill of health certificate !
gLORI, happy so see you paid a very early morning visit ! Good luck on that Mental Health test !
SANDI, happy with your condo news !
Jo, you made that statement most graciously :)
And Good Morning to you, Thelma ! How's Buddy doing ?
HODA, Happy Ayurveda Day !
Ayurveda (ˈɑːjʊˌveɪdə, -ˌviːdə)
— n
Hinduism an ancient medical treatise on the art of healing and prolonging life, sometimes regarded as a fifth Veda
[from Sanskrit, from āyur life + veda knowledge]
Good luck, girl !
The sound really IS good today. I can hear children on the playground--lunchtime recess !
Back home.
Paula, how's Larry doing today?
Off to forage.
Chick (s) in view...
Jo, the sooner the better on those cataract operations ! You'll be amazed to see what you've been missing !
Sure like the good news days.
Not being able to see all three chicks at the same time is sort of exciting in its own way. (Trying to look on the bright side)
Today's hint - The reveal will involve a vehicle.
Ahem, JUDIE, you might say I'm Naan Committal.
OK Kay LOL
More food just delivered so both adults on the nest. Hear a little chirp as one chick apparently greets dad---and he flies away. Last chunk of food doesn't look like a fish, gut what ?
Hi CAROLANNE !
Hmm, a vehicle and you are not directly involved though several people are. What a mystery you've created !
Kay - just doing my bit to help the world go round & make people go hmmmm?
Will you say yes or no to related questions, CAROLANNE ? As in, is the vehicle a delivery truck, mail, UPS, Fed Xpress ?
Well, you do have me going hmmmmmm?
Kay, it's possible its one of those, but I have no idea for sure what kind of vehicle it will be. Just that there is a vehicle involved, possible more than one or one type.
(snicker, snicker)(& thats not a candy bar):o)
LOL, CA ! So maybe a plane figures in to this mystery, too ?
Just away a few minutes and return to find that the last blob of food has been moved the NHZ, think feeding is going on. So far can only see one bobblehead.
so...the chicklets are under cover and presumably napping :)
Yes, well fed and napping---sounds like a good idea for a couple of souls in this household....BBL
HELLO
ON
LUNCH AT
MC D
haven't read back but will go now anxious to see if the other was spotted
did a super fast speed read
from what I read no sighting of all three but still could be there
JUDIE I also had tea coming out of my nse when I read your comment on the JUFIE and the cleanse
eagle up and picking on fish
I wonder if HODA does the cleanse that the movie stars do with coffee
Looks like the squirrel is uncovered and being feed to the babes
not feeding just standing
looks like poof not in still but in live
yep gone to the right
I see two in the cup mmoving
and with the lap top I can't snip I see them in the live but hard to see in the still
GRRR McD PIA I had to reconnect with the free wifi Lets me on when I come in but then after maybe 20 or so min wants me to resign in and nest is still with out parent when I got back on
so much flugg is piled up around the cup now hard to see at all
