we poofed on the still cam as I was typing and the eagle was still in the nest on the live feed but not in the still Has anyone else noticed that or is it just me
Judy I never open the still cam once the live feed gets going. So is the nest MT now or do we still have one standing where we can't see him/her, I wonder?
I always have the still open for pic grabbing right click and you got the pic compared to snipping which you can miss action while snipping with both open I don't miss anything just noticed that the POOF was at the still and then at the live also noticed position difference on both and the still is ahead of live and I thought that is odd But now I remember last year that I had two live cams open at the same time and they were both different ODD
I can understand the tree being old but I can't understand about the position of the camera That would be just a adjustment to the angle of it But maybe with the tree being so bad they didn't want to spend much time adjusting in fear of damaging it I guess
Got another 1.5" of snow overnight. Have already broomed my car off. No my car is not a broom! LOL. I just use a soft kitchen broom to dust off all the snow.
Lolly, hope you get to go to the Stars game. Sounds like a wonderful NY Eve for you and Jack..
Thanks for the eagle report this morning SANDI and JUDYE. I didn't fall asleep until 3 this morning so I "slept in" until 7:30.
Kay, sounds like a great schedule for Penny. Dogs really are more comfortable with a human leader. You two are a great pair! Would love to see more pictures of her. ♥
Margy, thanks for the GHO info. Would really love to see it. Are you working today? I bet NY Eve night is a crazy shift to work! Luckily I don't think you work nights.
I was wondering what everyone is thinking about as far as what you're glad to say goodbye to in 2013, and what are your hopes or personal goals for the New Year??? We're such a suportive team, we can all cheer each other on.
I'll write more on this later, but I need to find some notes to continue working on the report.
I'm back for a few and see that I missed our eagles. Happy some of you were watching and reporting.
Once Penny is up, taken outside and fed I settle for breakfast and the reading of the local newspaper. Have to do two crosswords and a word search, too. Penny snoozes some more on her pillow near my chair in spite of having been in her bed for 12 hours ! When I moved in her she moved and burrowed into her blankie on the couch. What a life ! LORI, I'll have to ask Julie and the guys if they have pics to forward. I have some cameras, but no skill in that direction.
ANDY, nice to see you are no longer MIA ! You've been busy with tree and phone experts so we'll excuse you !
LORI again. Except for the national and international current events which disturb all of us at times---I consider 2013 to have been a super duper year--healthwise, all things considered--family wise and here on our blog amongst you dear friends and our successful parenting Belle and Shep ! Can only hope 2014 is equally wonderful ! At this stage of life my goals are to take good care of myself and Penny, to enjoy the children, the grands, all my friends and to wake to see the light of day from Jan. 1 thru Dec. 31 !! ☺ Oh, and to see you all in Shepherdstown if any get together pops up. LOLLY are you and JACK planning to visit this year or next ?
Good morning all. HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE DAY. 2013 has been a good year LORI for me personally. Missing the friends I lost. Aware they had good lives. Celebrating human ingenuity Celebrating Divine Love with gratitude.
Good morning to all ♥ It is 28° here without any wind. No special plans for this evening - Usually try to stay awake until midnight to kick in 2014. I think most of my children also stay home - they have become of age. lol My live feed is doing very well... Now just to tune in when our Royal couple visits.
Have to share one small and very recent disappointment, but no catastrophe by any means. Grandson, Cooper, age 19 now, has been a Freshman at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, SC this past semester. Jan. 13-16 he and my son, Lee, will be driving down there to pick up his stuff. Seems he was miserable with dorm life and the college in general, so he's shifting gears. I know there are many Freshman across the country who do the same thing every year. He will be living at home, working in the coming months and enrolling at Rutger's in the Fall. At least that is the plan and subject to change, I think, as he matures and decides what his goals really are. So glad Seth has done so well with college life--maybe partly because he chose a school so close to home. He came home all but two or three weekends at least for a day and usually from Friday evening through Sunday. Cooper plans to live at home or with friends since Rutger's is within walking or biking distance from his home. In hindsight that would have been a better choice in the first place.
Nice that you finally got your phone fixed, Andy. We still have our land line, but I find that I am using the cell phone more and more. The land line phone isn't working too well. I need to replace it, and haven't gotten around to doing that.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! I dropped in this morning to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I have been under the weather since last Sunday, but feel quite well today...until...I saw Judy's Eagle Avatar MOVING! Thought I was hallucinating again :) Maybe I should go back to bed!
JUDY, my grandson says the bird you made a video of is a Finch.
Have a fun evening celebration...love to you all ♥
Hi LOLLY...oh, I do have so many GG reports, I wouldn't know where to begin...she is getting a little more 'forgetful' but not too bad...she is still a HOOT! Keeps us on our toes :)
Hi all - the wind really seems to be blowing at the nest and I have my speakers at 100% but don't hear a thing. Did see an eagle in the nest when I first opened the live cam page.
Wanda, it's so good to see you on the blog!! Sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well but happy to hear that GG is doing fine - saw your photos of the whole family at Christmas on FB.
Lori, for me, 2013 was a mixed bag. First 6 months were bad at school with that awful class of kids that I had last school year and the parent who was harassing me. July - December were better (of course June, July, and August are always my most favorite months of the year)- this year's bunch of kids are much better. My mom is still hangin' in there, though her mobility isn't great. Bandit is still hangin' in as well, though I'm sure he won't be with us this time next year. Kevin has done better financially in 2013 than ever before, though not well enough to move out on his own. Denny's business has had a great year. But Brian is living and working in Yemen, which scares the bejesus out of me. All in all, let's just say I'm not sad to see 2013 go and am looking forward to 2014, as it will put me that much closer to retirement in June of 2016.
Have a story to tell....I was chatting with Wanda when I heard a helicopter. Had heard it a short while earlier and thought it sounded really low. Well, it sounded really low again so I went out..in my sock feet! Well, the careflight helicopter was in my next door neighbors front yard!!! It was taking off. There were firetrucks and an ambulance out there too. Traffic backed up both ways and many people out watching. I about panicked an headed down the drive to talk with one of the guys in uniform. I was thinking about Jany and Hilton, next door. Then Carman from the other side waved to me, so I went over to her. She said they had carried a baby out from across the street. Apparently family visiting grandparent. Then while we were standing there Mark, our new neighbor across the street came out. So, I hurried over there. Baby, not quite two had burned his face, neck and tummy with hot coffee. So, prayers for this little one who is now at the hospital.
I just called Jany as the helicopter was in her front yard. She said she left when there was a fire truck and and never saw the helicopter.
Have not had breakfast. Too much going on! Laurel just called so I was on the phone with her and did not hit publish on my last comment. Too much excitement.
1013 has been a so so year. Jack has his problem which we are dealing with. Joey has changed vocations and they are living on two teachers salaries. I am hoping 2014 will be just a little better year. We are planning on getting a new trailer next week at the RV show. We are planning a trip to the west coast this spring. More time in the redwoods, sequoias, and on the Oregon coast. A camping trip to Colorado is also in the plans as well as Thanksgiving in Colorado. So, we have some great plans. We had planned the east coast Fall of 2015, but we have hit a snag on that plan. That is also the year of our 50th Anniversary and we are going to Italy. Time will tell, that is still a little over a year away.
Look at the January calendar again to be sure you get all the dates marked - quite a few were missed... Our very own Janet's wasnt't there and also missing was Lydia Price and Linda Salsberry.
Italy? That sounds fantastic, Lolly. Maybe you can visit the East Coast before you take off for Italy. Come east, get a flight from Washington or New York.
WANDA WELCOME BACK HOME YOU WERE MISSED BY EVERYONE DON'T BE A STRANGER and so sorry you aren't feeling well So sorry I made yu think you were hallucinating I have several eagles that move so be prepared to see them LOL Kay I love you story of Penny
Loving your stories about 2013. Brings back memories.
It seems like longer, but my Dad has his cancer surgery in January of '13 and a couple of hospital visits after that. Mom has been great all year. She's amazing. Of course, 2013 I started nursing school and will be so glad when I graduate Aug. 1st! Bring it on. It seems like a really long year being away from home in MD, but you all make it so much happier and bearable for me. My hopes are high for a great 2014.
HODA you have inspired me with all your FB likes, which I have checked out, and am going to try finding my zen zone in 2014, keep my head clear and focused on the good things.
Lolly, hope you had a spectacular NY Eve at the Star's game.
WANDA, so nice to see you! Please hang around more often. You are missed. ♥
Okay, back to work on this report. 27 pages and counting now!
Will ring in the New year here quietly . Stopped and picked up a movie to watch . Larry is in Eburg waiting for a settlement date.
Nick hasn't been feeling well on and off over the past week . Might have to find a vet down here sooner than I expected . I do have some recommendations.
2013 was a year of lots of changes...New job New full time home. Looking forward to see what 2014 has in store .
good evening to all. WANDA: welcome home! Come back soon! Love reading everyone’s summary of the year…. To add mine: Biggest accomplishment, and couldn’t have done it with out the love and support of tom and judye: (and my kids) was closing out mom’s estate. Even to this date, I feel a lighter state of being without that over my head. And the pool. The pool was and still is a big deal . Wanted one for 12 years. Love looking out there and seeing and can hardly wait til we have a deck around it. Of course, Scout and Seven became part of our lives. And, our Sable continues on in her old age. I am very aware that at 14 years old, every morning she opens her eyes and looks at me is another gift. We shall see if she makes 15. Professionally, I have been very busy and happy. Personally, I have been very busy and very happy. Over all I feel very loved and honored and I hope others feel my love and honor for them. Sad moments, of course. Chris’ diagnosis with cancer stands out at the most in my mind. But everything is tempered with love. Divine and agape love. For if there is a question, love is indeed the answer!
And, thankful for another year of fun and friendships…..thank you all!!! Blessed Be!
Well off to my exciting evening: let’s see, hmmm, warm house shoes, yep. Check. Warm eyeore jammies. Yep check. Ahhh, perfect evening straight ahead! HAPPY NEW YEARS ALL!
I will probably be konked in lounge chair and won't be able to do "HNY" at midnight. I'm sure there will be fireworks to wake me! Took another pain pill, so that will knock me out!!!!Is this another form of Senior Citizenship????----reliving childhood earaches???? So glad to SEE ya, Wanda!!! Say Hello to Father Capt. Gene and GG!! Luv you ALL- starting a NEW Eagle Year and spending it with all the friends!!! Looked up at sky in AM and talked to our old friends! ☺ God Bless Us ALL
Now, you're done for you evil Jufie. Finally, the shiny green garland has forced you into the open (following a nasty fight inside the closet). You, evil Jufie, will now be spirited away to the secret hiding place where things go never to be seen or heard from again.
Goodbye evil Jufie. You will NOT be missed. What? No, you absolutely will never be granted a pardon. You must remain in the secret hiding place forever and forever, never to be heard or seen again.
Hi all - have been watching another Netflix movie - another disappointing ending! Will try to stay awake til midnight to ring in the new year!
Paula, I hope Nick perks up soon! Scary stuff!
Judie, how great to see you on the blog tonight!! Has it sunk in yet that you are a retired person???
I just want to say, as another year comes to a close, that I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life! I love every single one of you and will echo Jo (and Lynn) by saying "I came for the eagles, but I stayed for the friendships I have made!"
The past few months have been challenging and, as the door squeaked when I sneaked in, I hope I'll be allowed to return and rejoin my eagle-blog family.
May the new year bring good health and happiness to each of us and a fond farewell to the Evil Jufie.
I have retired from the psychology department but plan to remain with the police program. Funny how I now have to look at the date on the newspaper to know which day of the week it is.
I hope to catch up as I go along. I see that Nick is not feeling well. Lots of doggy hugs and kisses for him.
Audrey and Grace and Darth are doing well. Darth spent Dec. 27 & 28 in cardiac care - chest pains. He's recovered and scheduled for more tests.
Headed to the covers and a new book about psychopaths and success. Interesting because many of the traits found in psychopaths are the same found in successful business men, politicians, etc.
What a year it has been for all of us, both good and bad, but in the greater scheme of things, I'd say mostly good for mostly everyone.
I hope to be able to spend more time "chatting" come egg watch season...and after the big move. In the mean time, I keep you all in my heart and wish everyone a wonderful 2014!
HODA, Thanks for the update on the eagle deaths...where can I find more? Once again, thanks for all your FB inspiration. I love your sites and plan to visit them at least a few times weekly. Big Hugs!
JUDIE, JUDIE, JUDIE! Welcome home, honey! You have been missed so much, and we are all so happy to have you back. Happy retirement, too!
PAULA, hope Nick is feeling better soon. Sounds like something is bothering him - having no appetite is such a big clue with dogs.
I'm just about ready to call it an end to 2013 and crawl into bed!
I love you all dearly and wish you only the best and most blessed New year. Thanks for all your love and support that has carried me through on so many days. Huge appreciation that we'll all still be here together in the New Year.
Happy New Year my dear dear dear friends. Thank you for your friendship. As Lady Lynn and MEMA Jo say I came for the Eagles and stayed for the friendships I made.
Kathryn brought back fireworks from South Carolina, so we had a little fun with them tonight. I hope we did not disturb too many of our neighbors.
George and Lucky are vexed. They cannot understand why the humans stayed up so late and went outdoors to make noise.
Luna is sleeping with her head on my shoe. Bassets have a thing about sitting or lying on your feet or shoes. Luna does not understand what we have been up to, but she does not get vexed in the way that the cats do.
George sat near the front door looking very disapprovingly at me. I don't think Lucky could hear much, but he was there too.
Dropping in to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Blessed and Prosperous New Year!!!
So good to see Judie here!! Welcome back! You have been missed! Give my best to Darth; I hope his tests are all in the normal range.
Paula, prayers for Nick! Hope that he feels better very soon, and that you'll find a new vet that you both like.
Shirley, I hope George and Lucky get UN-vexed really soon! Emma has been worried about the humungous number of fireworks here, from both Disneyland, and I suspect, Angel Stadium--not to mention our own neighborhood!
I'd better go now. Emma wants a lap, complete with velour throw, to burrow into. Best wishes for the New Year from Ken & me, and Emma! I ♥ us!!!
Goodorming my eagle friends! Happy first day of a brand spankin' new year! Managed to stay awake til just after midnight last night to say hello to the new year and then goodnight to Denny and the dogs!
Nest looks MT.
Lolly, how was the hockey game?
Paula, I hope Nick is more like his sweet, hungry self today!
Prayers for Dana's dad, Kelsey's mom, Janet's friend Chris, and Judie's Darth for good news from his cardio tests.
Good morning JudyE and everyone to follow this New Year's Day morning.
Happy 2014!
I did manage to stay up and ring in the new year, and got up early this morning to .... yes, work on that danged paper. I would love to finish it today, but doubtful.
Janet, now you can really get into the swing of celebrating your 50th birthday month!
If you didn't read it on FB...I saw thee cutest thing this morning - one of the fluffy kittens outside was trying to catch a snow flake. He went up on his hind legs and smacked his front paws together then realized he didn't get anything to play with. It was adorable.
Paula, how is Nick doing this morning?
Shirley, fireworks must have been fun last night. Bet Hunter loved it! Hope the animals have unvexed themselves and had some sleep.
Lolly, how was the game last night?
Time to check out the nest then get to work.
Again, happy new year and thanks to much to all of you for your love, friendship and support. I'll need you to make it through school in 2014! With great love, Lori
Being I had to work I didn't stay up but sort of was awake because of all the boom boom pow going on I ran up to the store and bought sleepytime tea Angie swears by it
Ok eagles are running late not unless they are on the edge of the nest but I see no feetsies Could be they were kept up because of all the celebratory fireworks also LOL
JUDYE, I'm watching the LIVE cam and haven't seen a head since it flew in and that was so fast before it went into the NHZ - No Head Zone! That's what I'm calling it. :)
I'm happy to see both of them coming every day. Not happy to see (or not see) where they seem to be working. It sure looks like any eggs will be laid right at the very top of our field of vision.
I sure hope they find a way to fix the cam angle. The whole goal of the cam is to share & observe the eagle in nature experience, and the eaglet part of nature and everything else will be happening in the NHZ where the nest cup will likely be again, and where 80% of the eagle action is taking place.
Happy New Year to you all! I guess that didn't get posted. I saw 2 eagles moving in the nest and it finally went to color, but no sound. The nest still didn't look too sharp or clear. Are they still working on it?
LORI Steve said this is it for the year We have to live with it I guess being the tree is deteriorating they are too afraid to do movement of the cam or adjustment Remember he is hanging from the crane and it may be hard to do with out hitting the tree Is my guess
Good morning and Happy New Year. I was watching the Live Feed this morning for a little bit. Can't seem to watch now. Hope 2014 will be good to us all. Hoping to stay more active here but still working six days. Take care all.
Happy New Year Eagle Buds !!! Wonder what 2014 holds for all of us. The days ahead are blank pages waiting to be filled in. I hope it's a super duper year for all !
As predicted I fell asleep about 20 minutes before the ball dropped--woke to the sound of firecrackers in the distance--seems we had a SHIRLEY type person in the hood. Times Square was full of people huggin' n' kissin'. I shut er' down and zzzzzzzzz.......
JUDIE and WANDA, you'll never know how much we've missed you both ! So good to "see" you and hope you'll now be here more frequently ! Hope Darth is soon in the pink and so very happy with the GG report !
JUFIE, you won't see this because you've been exiled and we're glad. We've no room for the likes of you in our fresh New Year of 2014 !
Pleased with the eagle sightings, reports and JUDYE's faithful camera duty !!! At least we can see enough to know Belle and Shep are alive, well and ready to launch a new parenting season !
LORI, thinking of you as you labor over that lengthy paper. Proud of you as you persevere !!!!
Both are facing 12, both are partially in the NHZ! Looks like Belle on the right (based on body size). Love that new abbreviation Lori - I think we'll be using it a lot this nesting season!
Good morning to everyone. Wishing a happy and healthy 2014 for everyone in the blog family.
Mema Jo, may the family Lennox enjoy a year of good health and happiness.
Paula, hope Nick is feeling better. Audrey and Grace send him healing thoughts. How's Larry Studmuffin?
Shirley, the image of you outside playing with fireworks brought a chuckle -- Shirley lighting firecrackers with glorious abandon.
I also cannot get a live feed. Any suggestions?
Sorry you have to work, Judy.
Anyone keeping up with the bears? NABC has a new resident, named Holly. Arrived a couple of days ago. Could not be rehabilitated to survive in the wild so was given to the bear center. Should be interesting to see how Honey, Lucky, and Ted respond.
Margy, if you are working, hope it is a quiet day. Did think of you Friday morning -- how calm and comforting 911 folks are. Lady was very nice as were the paramedics.
Hoda? Where are you and what are you up to?
Lori, how's school going?
Okay, enough for now. Don't want to wear out my warm welcomes.
Today is pork and black-eyed peas. Food for good luck in 2014. Good luck will be not burning the food.
Good morning to all this first day of 2014. I'm sure all of you changed your calendars when the stroke of midnight brought in the new year.
Happy to read your remarks about the eagle's visit this am.. Hope to see them sometime today if not at dusk.
My eyes last night on TV must have closed at 11:59 - when they opened the confetti was flying everywhere. Can't believe I missed the ball coming down. lol
Judie Larry is doing well..waiting to settle on his house.
Saw an eagle in my tree first thing this morning .. even got a pic on my good camera . Will have to post it later.
Nick still has no appetite ... except for the best of treats...but he has been enjoying being outside this morning all.. we Will go for a walk on the beach shortly.
Despite your mental images, Judie, I left the fireworks lighting to my children. I stayed outdoors until I got too cold. :) I hope our neighbors forgive us. (I did hear explosions elsewhere.)
Yes, I have been reading about Holly. Figured you were doing the same.
Still getting a "Page not found" message at the live cam.
Judie Larry is doing well..waiting to settle on his house.

Good morning. To all! Another year rolled in. And, I made a MAJOR WHOOPS. I had this candle burning last night. Usually they just burn out. I knew it was really low, and I forgot to check it when we went to bed. 5 a.m. we are woke up by the smoke detector. Tom said that’s not good, went out and sure enough, the damn thing caught on fire. It was contained, and actually a scary sized flame. Tom thought quickly, grabbed a lid to a pot and covered and smothered it. We were all a bit shaken. And I felt like a major dufus!
So happy new year.
I am thankful that the smoke detector worked. I am thankful nothing worse happened.
I have my pot of beans on to cook. White beans. I threw a few black eyed peas in the mix so we can say we had some. I like them but Tom and Livvy don’t.
Yes, I have two pots going, one vegetarian and one regular.
Not a lot else going on. Just got up. All is quiet. It is beautiful outside. I want to get outside for a bit today, take the decorations down, etc. Not a super busy day, but that’s that much less I have to do this weekend.
Yeah! JUDIE is back! YOU were missed missed missed!!!!! Yeah!!!! Hoping and sending light and love, healing for Darth…. Scary to be sure.
JUDYE: so sorry you are working today sis. Talked to my pal Chris…. She has dubbed her cancer “the alien” and is seemingly doing okay…mentally. In the next couple of weeks the tests for staging begin…
I am off work today, but plenty to do around here. I AM I AM I AM looking forward to this weekend: a float ( in a salt tank, will let you know what I think)> You can go to (and I stink at making links, sorry!) NashvilleFloatandMassage.com Another LMT, whom I know, has opened the first legal float tank in the state of TN. I am excited to try this. It is supposed to have beneficial effects for everyone, to include relaxation, pain and stress relief! I will be excited and then push it more for her. Then, my tat Sat afternoon. Very excited about that. Sunday will be dinner with the family. Red Lobster I believe. Monday I am off, and I am thinking about scheduling with an intuitive friend of mine….she is the real deal folks. Oh, and a hair cut. Maybe, we might have a date night Saturday night as well!!! WOOOT WOOT Well off and rocking onto 2014 ~ wishing and sending light, love, healing, smiles, love and hugs to each of you…today and always! Blessed Be!
Whoa Janet - sorry to hear about the burning candle - so thankful you are all ok. Paula - happy that Nick has eaten - hopefully today he will perk up. Good luck on Larry getting a settlement/closing date. Judie - prayers for Darth's health to get better - Had to have been scary - tell him I said Hello. Judy - hope it is a slow day and all those shelves can be straightened up with the merchandize. Shirley - I keep forgetting that fireworks aren't illegal in VA as they are in MD - however; our neighbors celebrated anyhow with the boom booms.
Wow, so wonderful to see some faces back on here!! Judie!!!!! Welcome back and happy retirement! Take care of Darth! Do not like hearing that news!
We had an awesome time last night. Before the game we walked around where the Big D NYE celebration was going to be right outside the arena in Victory Plaza. STARS won!!! 3-2, and a very exciting game. Big crowd and loads of fun! We did NOT walk around Victory Plaza after the game....too many people! lol We headed to Michael and Ashley's, I put Zach to bed, and we sat around visited, watched TV and brought in the new year with some good wine. We headed home about 12:45 and said Happy New Year to Ash, who was sound asleep sitting on the sofa. lol It was after 2 when we got to bed, but I really was not all that sleepy. Amazing!
Need to finish getting dressed and go across the street to check on how the baby is doing. I still can not get over the fact that it was so bad they sent the careflight helicopter.
A lazy day around here and that is good. We are hoping to have my nephew, his wife, Reece the 2 yo, and the new baby here sometime. He is 4 weeks old now and has an appointment with a surgeon in Dallas tomorrow. Two of his fingers are webbed together. One of the countries best surgeons for this is in Dallas. Blaine, being a chiropractor, RN, and a nurse practitioner got an appointment right away. They are up here at her parents and left a message.
Well, some fireworks are illegal in Virginia. I grew up in North Carolina where the laws are stricter than they are here. But South Carolina is even more lenient, and I think the ones Kathryn got wouldn't have been sold here. Interesting what is sold just over the state line.

EAGLE!
I think I see a spot - Shep?
Now, not sure about that spot.
2 EAGLES!
both eagles
I got google chrome locked up so had to open IE what a PIA
poof one
ok back up had to log off completely and one eagle is still there
If the egg cup is where the eagle is currently standing, we're sure not gonna see much.
both still there I see two heads
Both are there.
I agree not going to be able to enjoy this season as much
looked like she looked up at cam lol
odd my still cam is ahead of my live feed POOF
we poofed on the still cam as I was typing and the eagle was still in the nest on the live feed but not in the still Has anyone else noticed that or is it just me
Judy I never open the still cam once the live feed gets going. So is the nest MT now or do we still have one standing where we can't see him/her, I wonder?
I always have the still open for pic grabbing right click and you got the pic compared to snipping which you can miss action while snipping with both open I don't miss anything just noticed that the POOF was at the still and then at the live also noticed position difference on both and the still is ahead of live and I thought that is odd
But now I remember last year that I had two live cams open at the same time and they were both different ODD
I saw poof but that doesn't mean someone may have sneaked in at the top of the nest we can't see :-(
I can understand the tree being old but I can't understand about the position of the camera That would be just a adjustment to the angle of it
But maybe with the tree being so bad they didn't want to spend much time adjusting in fear of damaging it I guess
OTWIG
Good New Year's Eve morning!

BBL
♥ U all!
Celebrating human ingenuity
Celebrating Divine Love with gratitude.
Good morning to all ♥
It is 28° here without any wind.
No special plans for this evening - Usually try to stay awake until midnight to kick in 2014. I think most of my children also stay home - they have become of age. lol
My live feed is doing very well...
Now just to tune in when our Royal
couple visits.

Good morning,
Google's cute today, Judy.
Nice that you finally got your phone fixed, Andy. We still have our land line, but I find that I am using the cell phone more and more. The land line phone isn't working too well. I need to replace it, and haven't gotten around to doing that.
Nest is empty at the moment.
Good Morning, Good Day to All
Best Wishes for all things Healthy and Happy for the rest of
"this ol' year" and
The New Year
xoxo ☺ ♥
EAGLE WITH FLUFF!
I do just now see an
Eagle in the Nest
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
I dropped in this morning to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR. I have been under the weather since last Sunday, but feel quite well today...until...I saw Judy's Eagle Avatar MOVING! Thought I was hallucinating again :) Maybe I should go back to bed!
JUDY, my grandson says the bird you made a video of is a Finch.
Have a fun evening celebration...love to you all ♥
And wonderful to see YOU Wanda...
Hope you feel 100% Wanda-better Pronto !!
OMG, you, too MY FRIEND!
Good morning! Eagle in the nest!!!!
Nothing like bringing up the cam and seeing an eagle in the egg cup. Can see body and tail but no head. Grrrrrr! We will never know who is there!
Hi Wanda! You have been sorely missed on here, We get no GG reports!
Happy to see the eagle in our nest
Hi LOLLY...oh, I do have so many GG reports, I wouldn't know where to begin...she is getting a little more 'forgetful' but not too bad...she is still a HOOT! Keeps us on our toes :)
Wanda - happy to hear you are feeling better - Happy New Year to you and yours.
WANDA your Wedding Anniversary is Jan 2.... Don't know why but it isn't on our Momster calendar
I'll put it there immediately
That's OK, Jo...I NEVER forget my anniversary; that's the day I get my long-awaited lobster:)
And of course, there is that grandchild coming in June!! :)
Eagle just poofed!
Prayers for the youngster with the burns, Lolly. That is very very sad to have happened.
Hi,
So good to see you Wanda!!
Took me a bit to get the nest, but now I have it. No eagles, though. And there is that circling arrow. Geesh. Hmm, it's coming and going.
Enjoyed reading your year-in-review reports.
A very good thing for me this past year was getting to go to Colorado to visit my brother and his family.
Cam shake.
Oh, wow, Lolly. I do hope the little child will be okay.
Italy? That sounds fantastic, Lolly. Maybe you can visit the East Coast before you take off for Italy. Come east, get a flight from Washington or New York.
Howdy from McD on lunch
WANDA WELCOME BACK HOME YOU WERE MISSED BY EVERYONE DON'T BE A STRANGER and so sorry you aren't feeling well So sorry I made yu think you were hallucinating I have several eagles that move so be prepared to see them LOL

Happy New Year's Eve!
A happy and safe New Year's Eve to everyone!
OK the voices are back on the speaker with the nest cam has to be a crossed wire maybe
Here is a few second video of the voices I heard
Voices we here on the speaker LOLLY and I
Judy, I am glad Steve heard your sound video - He didn't have any idea either as to what it was
Our mystery to be solved
Lori - sounds like you are rolling right along! ♥
Yeah JO I read that
He didn't say if we had sound or not
Happy and Blessed New Year to one and all.
Safe driving LOLLY JACK.
anyone here??????
Evening all !
HAPPY NEW YEARS!!
good evening to all.
WANDA: welcome home! Come back soon!
Love reading everyone’s summary of the year….
To add mine:
Biggest accomplishment, and couldn’t have done it with out the love and support of tom and judye: (and my kids) was closing out mom’s estate.
Welcome back Wanda !
Happy New Year to all my eagle buds

HAPPY NRW YEARS EVE TO ALL THE EAGLEBUDS!!!!!
God Bless Us ALL
AARRGGHH! UGGG, a typo. Sorry, I'm not well! ☺

Happy New Year
JUDIE
BOP!Grrr! POW! BANG! OOOF! Grrrr! SLING! BOP! YEOW! ARGGGGH! OUCH! PUNCH! BANG! BLAST! GRAB! SNATCH! SLAM! Grrrrr! OUCH!
Hi Judie !
Welcome back .
Bye Jufie lol
Nick had a. ear infection . That seems cleared up...but his appetite is not there and he is kinda lethargic. Will get him checked out.
Good riddance JUFIE
Just so long as we get JUDIE back.
Congratulations on your retirement dear lady.
You had an amazing career.
Enjoy retirement
I am lol at Jufie altar.
Going to snuggled under the blanket and watch a movie.
Avatar not alter..
So long Jufie
Glad to see you go
Hello Judie
Good to see you here
I can tell it is going to be a good New Year on the blog - Wanda and
Judie all in one day.
Happy 2014 everyone!
Happy New Year's eve, everyone.
Merry New Year' eve. I shall return tomorrow.
Good Night, And Happy Almost New Year, Friends Near and Far...
Paula, (( Healing Hugs )) for Nick...
and the same for all amongst us, Family, Friends, and Pets
Thanks for Everyone's Dear and Precious Friendship....
G'Night, and
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
I just missed ya' Judie...
Welcome Back....great way to end out this ol' year, seeing you here!
Hoping that Darth is all better now, or soon will be
Best wishes on your New Adventures....
G'Night to all in your Roost
And to All Here...
xo
P.S.
I have missed you all.
Dead Utah Eagles killed by West Nile virus according to David Hancock post
Hello all!
I can't believe it's NYEve already. OR...358 days one hour and 27 minutes til CHRISTMAS!!
Goodnight to all my friends ♥
See you all in 2014
SED and AOYP
WOW!
((((((BIG Midnight HUGS)))))))
To everyone seen and unseen (Margy's term!) I wish and hope a wonderful, prosperous, healthy and Happy New Year!
Judie, it is so great to see you back.
Hoda, I am with Lori, I love your inspirations also and try to understand and make them my life.
Paula, I hope Nick is ok.
Again to all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!
Wishing everyone on the blog a Happy New Year, Eaglebuds!!!
Happy New Year my dear dear dear friends.
Thank you for your friendship.
As Lady Lynn and MEMA Jo say
I came for the Eagles and stayed for the friendships I made.
I feel inspired by you all.
I am blessed with your friendship
Blessed Be
Happy New Year!!
Welcome back Judie!! Good-bye evil Jufie.
My brain is worn out. I can only type a bit.
Paula, I hope Nick recovers quickly.
SED. everyone. God bless.
Best wishes to Darth and I hope his tests show no problems.
Hi, Everyone,
Dropping in to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Blessed and Prosperous New Year!!!
So good to see Judie here!! Welcome back! You have been missed! Give my best to Darth;
I hope his tests are all in the normal range.
Make it a great day all!
Good Morning Eagle Buds
I hope this year is a good one for each and every one of you momsters and dadsters out there
Good morning Judy - do you have to work today? Hope not!
SANDI Yepper I gotta work bummer
Being I had to work I didn't stay up but sort of was awake because of all the boom boom pow going on I ran up to the store and bought sleepytime tea Angie swears by it
Ok eagles are running late not unless they are on the edge of the nest but I see no feetsies
Could be they were kept up because of all the celebratory fireworks also LOL
Remember the still will probably pick them up first Being it seems to be slightly ahead of the time on the live feed JO and I have both noticed that
59° out now with light rain today BRR it chilly out OK I know I am a whimp LOL Ok gonna sit back and wait till I have to work

showed on still not on live yet
EAGLE!
now shows on live
YAY - EAGLE IN THE NEST!
now head is visible
you all need to bring up your still It shows eagle in before live does
digging
BOTH THERE NOW!
both are in
JUDYE, I'm watching the LIVE cam and haven't seen a head since it flew in and that was so fast before it went into the NHZ - No Head Zone! That's what I'm calling it. :)
Does STILL cam show the head?
colors on nest
I'm happy to see both of them coming every day. Not happy to see (or not see) where they seem to be working. It sure looks like any eggs will be laid right at the very top of our field of vision.
So nice to see a full body shot of Belle.
only when they turn around or in different area We all have no head zone
I think Shep Poofed I think
she seems to be waiting Lady in waiting Maybe waiting for nesting material delivery
Happy New Year to all!
POOF
Eagle in nest! There were two at one time this am.
on still
and now on LIVE
flew out to the right the same way she came in
I sure hope they find a way to fix the cam angle.
LORI Steve said this is it for the year We have to live with it
I guess being the tree is deteriorating they are too afraid to do movement of the cam or adjustment Remember he is hanging from the crane and it may be hard to do with out hitting the tree Is my guess
The only sound we seem to be getting is some crossed wires from what it sounds like a radio station
JudyE, thanks. I know. Just had to vent. Sorry.
Good morning and Happy New Year. I was watching the Live Feed this morning for a little bit. Can't seem to watch now. Hope 2014 will be good to us all. Hoping to stay more active here but still working six days. Take care all.
Good morning,
Hi Jerry! Are you having trouble getting the live cam? I am.
I'm getting "Page not found."
SHIRLEY, I just got the live cam. No eagles in sight, but the nest is sitting there waiting.
JERRY, so glad you can drop by as frequently as you do. Working six days out of seven is rigorous.
Wow, just walked past the computer and we have 2 eagles in the nest!!
Both are facing 12, both are partially in the NHZ! Looks like Belle on the right (based on body size). Love that new abbreviation Lori - I think we'll be using it a lot this nesting season!
POOF eagle on the right. One still there.
And POOF again. MT nest - now to get some housework done! Later!
BBL
Good morning to all this first day of 2014. I'm sure all of you changed your calendars when the stroke of midnight brought in the new year.
Happy to read your remarks about the eagle's visit this am.. Hope to see them sometime today if not at dusk.
My eyes last night on TV must have closed at 11:59 - when they opened the confetti was flying everywhere.
Can't believe I missed the ball coming down. lol
Morning all !
Hi,
Despite your mental images, Judie, I left the fireworks lighting to my children. I stayed outdoors until I got too cold. :) I hope our neighbors forgive us. (I did hear explosions elsewhere.)
Yes, I have been reading about Holly. Figured you were doing the same.
Still getting a "Page not found" message at the live cam.
Morning all !
Judie Larry is doing well..waiting to settle on his house.
Saw an eagle in my tree first thing this morning .. even got a pic on my good camera . Will have to post it later.

Well Nick just had some breakfast!
Happy to see that Nick has eaten, Paula!
Judie hope Darth is ffeeling better.
How much teaching will you be doing withthe police class?
Oh the movie I watched last night was ARGO..very good. Would you believe Crisfield still has an actual movie rental store?
WOOOT WOOT
Well off and rocking onto 2014 ~ wishing and sending light, love, healing, smiles, love and hugs to each of you…today and always! Blessed Be!
Whoa Janet - sorry to hear about the burning candle - so thankful you are all ok.
Paula - happy that Nick has eaten - hopefully today he will perk up. Good
luck on Larry getting a settlement/closing date.
Judie - prayers for Darth's health to get better - Had to have been scary - tell him I said Hello.
Judy - hope it is a slow day and all those shelves can be straightened up with the merchandize.
Shirley - I keep forgetting that fireworks aren't illegal in VA as
they are in MD - however; our neighbors celebrated anyhow with the boom booms.
Going to watch Rose parade... BBL
*** Dana's dad comes home today - great start for the new year...
Woot Woot Hurah for Dana's dad coming home today!
Goodorming and Happy New Year!
Thank goodness for the smoke detector, Janet.
Such good news about Dana's dad!
Hope that the baby who was burned is much better today, Lolly, and that the surgery is quick and uncomplicated for the new baby in your family.
An angel on your shoulder to start the year Janet ...
Well, some fireworks are illegal in Virginia. I grew up in North Carolina where the laws are stricter than they are here. But South Carolina is even more lenient, and I think the ones Kathryn got wouldn't have been sold here. Interesting what is sold just over the state line.
There are fireworks stands in parking lots around here, something I do not remember in North Carolina.
I just brought the live cam up. Nest looks to be empty.
Happy Happy to one and all.

Okay, Lolly, who is Ash? Not Ashley, right? So sorry about the baby and hope all will be good. Glad you all had a good time last night.
Janet, as Paula said, angel on your shoulder. So good to know the smoke detector worked and all are safe.
Hope Nick being hungry is a good sign.
Not sure but think the only legal fireworks in VA are sparkler types. Of course, not many heed the restrictions.
Wishing to hear some news from Dana that her dad is home and adjusting.
Okay, so where is the live cam? I try and can only get the still cam.
Beans and ribs are cooking. Time to read about psychopaths. Oh, well, retirement doesn't mean I don't like creepy crimes, lol
