Steve thank you so much for the fresh thread - I'm sure it will be filled in due time. Five more days and you of course know who will be celebrating another year gone and a new one starting. Thanks for taking care of all us
Hunter will be just fine, I think. He has decided that he might get bored since we are visiting two scientists. I assured him that they have other interests.
Hummingbird wars are taking place in my yard, too. In fact, one showed up yesterday as we were battling the wasps. Almost like it was asking if we needed some help with the pesky critters. I have had no problems with the wasp sting, and we seem to have gotten rid of them. I will be checking, though.
Had a hot but nice day out on the boat with Jordyn at Winter She wanted to come home to take a nap I don't know what the poor kids is gonna do next week when she is in school and don't get naps I usually keep her busy but she didn't want to stay but wanted to come home so we did
the boat ride we saw about 20 dolphin about 7 times while going out and coming in Saw 3 small babies The net pull that they did WOW we got a Flounder and he was big got pic and two huge about 80yrs old conch shells A scorpion fish, a grass fish and several other didn't remember the names One fish had the face like sea horse and looked like seaweed
so funny they are getting the dolphins ready for the new movie Dolphin tale they have hanging props over the tanks like movie cameras so they get use to it Looks like it doesn't bother them They may remember from the last movies set
The biologst was amazed at the many species that we got in the net pull So cool and also a sting ray and a fish that uses electric to stun fish don't remember name either not a eel but a fish of sorts and to find out that I never knew that It was in the WWI that the inter coastal waterway was made for the ships and is only 3-6feet deep depends on the tide you could walk across it when the tide is down
Getting ready to head to Angie for dinner Got her up at 4 little sleepy head she is watching a movie I bought her Winx from the Nickelodeon channel she like it Me not so much LOL Of course I am not a kid I like Disney movies better LOL

Sleep well my friends and may God bless. Goodnight!
Good Friday morning my eagle friends! No picture on the cam page - just a blue screen.
59 degrees here in Bethany this morning - what a strange summer! More rain than normal, several stretches of cool weather.
Since the windows were open last night, we could hear the great horned owls talking outside. Lisa(my sister), Madeline, Daisy (their dog) and I went out for a night walk with flashlights trying to find one in a tree - no luck, but good fun!
Madeline and Claire (Madeline's new friend from the beach) are both entering middle school this year and are nervous about being able to open their combination locks on their lockers. Found an old one in a gym bag and they spent an hour last night practicing and racing one another to see who could open it the fastest. They were so happy!!
Margy's trip begins today - have a WONDERFUL time, Margy!!!!
Shirley, when do you leave for CO??
Taking Madeline, Michael, and Claire to hit some tennis balls this morning since I'm not scheduled to play, then working at the library book sale for a few hours this afternoon.
Good morning ! Its FRIDAY! Man, this week has gone F A S T !!!!
MAGPIE; leaving today? safe and blessed travels. lots of pix pls. :)
It was a good day yesterday; just busy. Work; fully booked. Ice skating. Olivia is learning a spin called a scratch spin, looks so cool. She is really doing well.
I have befriend, or rather have been friended by one of the ice skating coaches. He is jokinly telling the kids that because I have sat thru his classes (several classes go on at the same time when it is group time), that he will be taking some time off and I will be teaching for him. LOL> yeah, he's lost his mind. Nice young man.
Need to get a move on I suppose.
Glad RORO had a restful night. Hopeing he recovers quickly and well...
JUDY: sounds like you had quite the adventure with JORDYN. :)
LORI: keep on studying....we are here to encourage you
JUDIE: keep JUFIE in the closet pls. I think she scares some of us...... (trembles)
PANANA: yes, picking up feet would be good, but the hearth that i tripped over was the lenghth of the fireplace and i suppose 8 maybe 9 inches tall? a HUGE slab...i just turned in my chair, took a step, or attempted to and because i never saw the darned thing, splat...there i was. but yes, picking up feet is good advice....step OVER the fireplace hearth, Janet.
JUDY: yes, people who shuffle their feet drive me nuts too.....hate the sound of it.
all right, gotta get a move on. thinking of each of you...light, love, hugs, smiles and healign for ALL in need!
Made a MOST incredible dessert yesterday with Madeline - she did most of the work. Ingredients: 1 pkg. of choc. chip cookie dough (the kind that breaks apart into 24 squares) 24 oreo cookies 1 box of brownie mix (follow the directions on the box to mix it)
Put 24 cupcake papers in muffin tins. Put 1 piece of cookie dough in the bottom of each cupcake paper and smoosh it to cover the bottom (I stuck the cookie dough in the microwave on defrost for about a minute to soften it). Put an oreo on top of the cookie dough. Cover the oreo with the brownie mix. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes
Packing day. I think I still haven't entirely adjusted to the fact that packing is not as big a deal as it was when I had to do it for a family of six. Only have to take care of myself. Even after all the years . . .
