Need to grosserie shop this morn and then we are going after lunch to Denton. Jack has a couple of jobs waiting for him there, I am taking Joseph for a haircut and Laurel will be madly packing. lol Ordering pizza for dinner, taking a good bottle of wine as it is Laurel and Joey's 16th anniversary. They can not afford to go out but also they do not have the time today. As they leave in the wee hours in the morn for Colorado with 15 middle schoolers. Jacob and Luke come home with us after pizza. :)
Thank you Thank You to the ground crew ♥ Such good news - well any news of the nest is good news! I really appreciate your post, Steve and also the new thread.
Congratulations Laurel and Joey on your 16th anniversary. You can celebrate in CO.
Grannyblt - I think this feather is the most important one yet because of the news! ♥
Christine got a call that packers would be there on the 18th and her move will be on the 20th. NOW - I am praying that one of those 2 homes would become available before her move - They will need to come temporary to Frederick but it would be great if they could go straight to wherever they'll be permanently. We will wait and see - God is in the driver's seat! ♥
Sis and Tom just left the neurosurgeon. No surgery. He has to go back on Monday to have an epidural steroid injection. He goes back to the doctor in 3 weeks and they will take it from there. He is not to work until after that.
Raining like crazy here. Will discovered that the gutters on the front of the house are clogged, which meant a messy trip up the ladder out there to prevent the basement from flooding.
Kathryn and I had discovered the gutter in the back was clogged a couple of days ago. Can't get to it with the ladder we have, so we're hoping it will be okay. I have to hire someone to clean out that gutter.
Sometimes I am able to combine gutter cleaning with chimney sweeping and find someone who can do both.
Seeing info about Bev-sissy's Tom...hope all condition will be healed 100%... sounds like a back problem ?? Woof, Ouch, and shucks!
Shirley, I know I have a gutter problem at the apartment bldg....and I also know it would be some time before it gets fixed, so now I know....that I will just have to get used to it and all the dripping water
Not sure I could eat a bacon/egg/doughnut sandwich, either, Judy. However, I think Margy can eat whatever she wants. She burns plenty of calories and stays skinny enough to do that.
Arrived here safe and sound. Ride pretty good considering the weather. Just heard there is a 2 hour backup at the bridge.
Made a couple of stops...may have found a vanity, but need to measure again to be sujre.
It had stopped raining when I got here, so I hurried up and planted some perennials I had picked up today. Finished planting just as the rain started again.
I just saw an indigo bunting in one of my tall pines!
There is a tornado watch here...so I will keep my eyes and ears open. I'll hide in my new tub :-)
Whoo, Paula.... Glad you arrived safe and sound... Best Wishes on all that....with the weather... I know you will be careful... I'll be watching the weather news on the telly
Wonderful, and Congratulations to the Bragg Bunch, and All the Family Lennox... Thank you to Patrick for his Service to our Country ♥ and to his lovely family... right there with him every step of the way
Thank you STEVE for the ground report. Much appreciate it
Good day here and am looking forward to the Grans Sale tonight. I hope we sell a lot of jewellery.
Had a terrific yoga class and it is a warm day but I think we will get thunder storms later this evening. The Grans event is not in Nelson so I hope the weather is better there...
Ordered a pizza and wings for tonight. Just do not want to cook anything, and do not want to do any clean-up, either. Wishing I had some paper plates, but do not want to go buy them.
Aunt Mona Bobbit from the Lower North Shore of Québec is a good friend whom I have known since the '70's. She is 98 years old today and sounds wise and witty and what a terrific laugh she has...still active and still very much at her own place and refuses talk of her need to have more care...some cleaning services are provided by the Gov't once a week. Food is also provided at her home by the said same gov't and she still likes to prepare her own little meals every once in a while... thinks she is a better cook!!!Someone checks on her daily and they take her out for a walk five times a week for exercise...she likes to dance and wants them to take her dancing!!! Love that Lady.
Hoda--Kathryn takes Allegra during the day. She says it works the best if you take it every day . . . doesn't necessarily work the first day. She was taking Allegra when it was a prescription med.
Home from a great day with Jordyn and all you can eat Fish dinner at PO FOLKS funny I only have one piece and lots of veggies as all you can eat LOL
Jordyn is getting such a Drama Queen after I left them Angie says She says ""OH NO I will never see OMA again I am gonna miss her so much LOL" then she says next I will see her next Thursday and I still will miss her so much
She didn't want to leave my house today until I told her its only a week away and we maybe going to see the movie tomorrow night Then we left LOL
HODA I also take the store brand of zertex (Certirizine) and so does Angie Its a antihistamine and helps in our allergy season If I can remember to take them daily I am so bad with pills LOL
You all remember Largo Central Park that Jordyn just loves Well Largo had done it again and for non residence there is only a $4. charge it a indoor play area air conditioned also just opened this past week Will have to check that out was talking to a lady that went to see Winter the dolphin and was also at the Chick Fl La we went to said its a nice place for all ages OK gonna go get a quick shower Work tomorrow YUK
forgot to say Angie has someone coming out Mon to do my roof being its not over the living part of the house they are doing more serious damages right now so Mon it will be
Have not been able to keep up yesterday or today about everyone's activities and adventures. We are exhausted but making serious progress. We have 48 hours. The painters arrive Monday morning.
If you have not used something, anything, in the previous two weeks, recycle or donate.
Will return when I can. Miss you all.
Sandperson will be leaving soon. Restful sleep for all.
Okay Judie....we'll be here when you return.... I will have pillows and blankie, stamps and cards and snail mail addresses....remaining in my possession, not much else here I really really need, oh, pictures, I need them ((SUPER HUGS )) Judie xoxo ♥
Special thoughts for Judie over these next few days.... can't be easy, a nearly total house upheaval with the painting and carpeting, moving furniture, and all the other activities of daily living.... You're in my thoughts, Judie... call anytime if you just want to go crazy over the phone
And special anniversary wishes for Laurel and Joey, best wishes for their mission to Colorado with the youth group, and to Jack, Lolly, Jacob, Luke and Annie in the meantime
Good Evening Eagle Buds. "Didn't it rain Children? Didn't rain, oh my Lord"??!! I start singing that song on days like this. A group called the Phoenix Singers that toured with Harry Belafonte eons ago sang that. ☺ Anyway, since it was raining I left my camera in the car at Chelsea, so of course the goose family came by & goslings are like large ducks already!! Hope everyone is staying fairly dry. Got email from daughter and they were in Myrtle Beach and she said TS Andrea rained on her vacation!! Glad to hear Sissy's Tom won't have to have serious med work done. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO JUDIE AND DARTH AND LAUREL AND JOEY!!! Paula, Fubby just saw that Bay Bridge traffic had been backed up for 17 miles~~~all the way to route 301!!!!!Wonder if they're having fun yet?
We are home. Had a good afternoon and evening in Denton. Joey had graduation to go to as several of his students asked him to be there. Jack did the repair jobs, we watched Joseph mow, edge and blow the walk. He is such a great kid! Worked with Laurel on the food she will be preparing. She is going as "the cook". 15 kiddos and 7 adults. We also enjoyed pizza, Some anniversary for them. lol
Jacob and Luke have gone to bed and I am about ready to go there myself. I better publish this fast. Twice I have about fallen asleep.
Glad every one is wwell and that JUDIE checked in...Hang in there JUDIE...do not go to any extremes with discarding things...two weeks seems a bit excessive but tells exactly how you are feeling. Wishing you well.
Thank you SHIRLEY and JUDYE for the medication. I will look after this issue this weekend . I have not had a chance to stop at my pharmacist or ask the doctor to recommend a Canadian equivilent to the over the counter drugs you mentioned.
Amazing. Little Ymir is a village of maybe fie hundred people. We sold 1100 dollars worth of jewellery and it was in a hundred and ten year old hotel... We are happy with what we made. Not very much of the jewellery is left and we in total come close to the 8000 mark for sales.
Tomorrow The Grans take part in the National Walkathon to raise awareness and funds and we walk five KM. So I go Dragon Boating in the morning and then to the park where we are setting the registeration and we will be accompanied by a Bag Piper to lead us along the main streets of Nelson.
I will go meditate and refocus. I feel blessed and I ♥♥♥ US
I just read up on the village of Ymir. It has 231 people according to the 2011 census, not five hundred as I had thought. So I think it us even more incredible that we made 1100 dollars there tonight!!
Good Saturday morning my eagle friends! Not as much wind and rain here as expected - house stayed dry inside and all water stayed in the canals where it belongs!
We got the 8th grade dance in last night despite the wind and rain. Kids had a great time, though only 84 out of 220 attended. Characteristic of this apathetic 8th grade group!
Happy belated anniversary to Judie and Darth and Laurel and Joey!
Judie, hope you can find some time to relax this weekend before the big house overhaul. How exciting for you, even though the getting ready for the painters and carpet folks is so much work!
Guess I've missed why we're seeing so little of Lynne2 on the blog. What's up?
Lynne1, how's your son? Home from the hospital?
Jo, happy to hear about Patrick's retirement. Hope the house hunting works out for them.
Bev, glad to hear that Tom doesn't need surgery. Bet it will be hard to keep him quiet for 3 weeks.
Lori, how did RoRo make out with all that rain and wet grass? Bella refuses to get wet to go to the bathroom. Luckily, our house is built on pilings - she just goes on the stones under the house!
Tennis for me this morning - indoors. Then, lots of dusting and vacuuming usually empty bedrooms and cleaning bathrooms. There is a pro USTA women's tennis tournament in Bethany this coming week and we are housing 4 of the young ladies playing in the tournament. They will all be arriving some time today and play starts tomorrow.
Saturday! Good morning to all. I have been so busy the last couple of days that I haven't been on the internet much. I managed a quick email and fb post last night....
Tom is doing well, able to do so much with just one arm. Needs help, of course, with a few things, but was glad I had some clients to work on yesterday! I think we both needed a small break.
I have my Reiki classes this weekend, so I am up early and leaving the house in a couple of hours.
JUDYE: love the drama queen, Jordyn. how cute!!!
Well hope everyone has a lovely day. Hoping for help for Bev's Tom....eipdural injection, my knowledge is that's an injection in the spinal nerves to block pain. Works a good bit of the time, but can't guarantee for how long, just from my research when they wanted to give me one. I declined....but I certainly know a lot of people whom that has helped. I hope it helps him as well.
LIght, love hugs and smiles to all; holding each of you close in my heart and thought, healing for all in need!
SANDI, hope you get your house all cleaned for your guests and they all do well at the tournament!
JO, congrats on the family moving soon...sounds like it's coming together and I know you can't wait.
JUDIE, sorry redoing the house is so exhausting. I remember doing it once and it was sheer craziness trying to find anything. Take lots of naps. :)
HODA, good luck today on the walk - hope you raise lots of money!
JANET, glad to hear Tom is doing well. Enjoy your weekend.
PAULA, good to hear you made it safely to Paradise. Wishing you a great time and lots of bird sightings!
JUDYE, so you have a drama queen in the family!?! Too funny. Glad you made it safely through the storm...
MARGY, your weekend is almost here. Make it a great Friday! Big hugs.
LOLLY, have a great day with Jacob and Luke!
No big plans here today...no surprise there, eh? :) Would like to work in the yard, but it's still so wet...everything is soaked. No mowing, that's for sure. Would like to dig up a bush that's overcrowding my lace leaf red maple.
SANDI, had a very difficult time getting RoRo to go potty outside in the rain yesterday. He and Dalai and still in a training period to get used to each other, and he peed twice in his crate - both times, just as I was grabbing his leash to take him outside!!!
Brought the laptop upstairs this morning. Hunter is watching a movie with lots of explosions and I just could not handle it. I can hear it well enough up here.
Heard some rain earlier this morning, but maybe the storm has left us now.
Luna does not seem to mind the wet grass. I had trouble getting her to come in for her breakfast this morning. She was wandering around enjoying all of the interesting smells.
Time for a quick good morning and then out to mow. Jacob is playing computer games, Annie is hiding and Luke seems a little restless. First he was on the back of the sofa, then on to Jack's recliner, and now at the back door watching Jack out on the patio.
All is well here...so now out to mow and then we are going to a house warming in Fort Worth. A cousins grandson has a new home and we have been invited to a lunch spread. :)
A cool morning, in the 60's, but headed to the upper 90's this next week and they are also talking triple digits. Groan.....
Home from Sat morn errands. Its bath day for Dex. First time since his flea meds 2 weeks ago that it has been warm and sunny enough to give him a bath which I always like to do 2 days after the spot stuff. He is a really long wet rag mop but warm weather and a walk works wonders since he now hates the bath part of this, I hope everyone will have a good weekend.
Good morning or afternoon as the case may be, Wishing the best for those who are packing or purging, remodeling or moving, with too much rain or not enough, those with visitors or gone visiting, the walkers & watchers, and all the furbabies, clean or dirty, wet or dry.
Yardwork, bread baking, garage painting and garden tending on the to -do list today.
Hello, Eagle Buds! Guess we'll have to drive to Shep, town to see what's happening! We had rain all day yesterday and I think one of the flower pots is not doing too well from saturation!Last year I took all the dirt out of two to de-clog the bottoms for drainage. Unfortunately the bad one has my favorite blue petunias---part of the 4th of July trio!! I bought new flowers but better wait til stuff gets drier. Today, the house wren parents can sit on the perch and just lean in the house to feed the little chirpers. Hope I get to see those beaks in the doorway soon! Hope everyone is having a good weekend! ☺ ♥
Home from the house warming, it was all family and loads of fun. A cousins grandson was there so Jacob had someone to play with. Yea! They are third cousins and love the fact that they were cousins. Jacob is a year older than Logan but twice the size!!
The Walkathon went really well. A bunch of Grannys raised the roof with noise makers and banners and singing on Baker Street Nelson. We walked five KM and it was fun...all ages...a five year old to an 89 year old...people gave us money in the jars we were carrying some joined for various distances...it was fun. I was Traffic Marshal so stopped the cars for the Grans to cross and people were very supportive... I do not know how much we raised. I think we will probably be 15 thousand dollar range in terms of our Stephen Lewis Donations this month!!!
I am ready for a break from Grans work I have to admit...For the next few months I will only do one fundraiser for Stephen Lewis Foundation...
Thinking of JUDIE resting I hope but do not think this is the case.
LOLLY so glad JACOB enjoyed visiting with cousin and that you all enjoyed yourselves at the house warming. I loved the picture of JACOB and LUKE in his room at your place hidden behind a HUGE book.
Waiting for Angie and Carl to call we are going to see the new 3D animated movie out EPIC I just live just about a mile from the movies but they live 15 miles from me so not for sure if we will see the 3d one at 645 the regular one is at 7 15
Also on the news a four year old shoots and kills his father as they were visiting a friend. Both Military men!!! I do not understand unsecured loaded weapons I am afraid. I do not want to start an argument...I just do not fathom it!
HODA, congrats on raising so much money...glad you had a great time doing it! Big hugs for all you do!
LOLLY, happy for Jacob that he had a cousin to play with at the luncheon and a good time was had by all.
JUDYE, have a fun time with family at the movie!
I just came inside from gardening and have welts from mosquito bites all over my arms and legs. Dumb me, I forgot to spray myself before I tackled the job of cutting the sprouting trees in the bed with all the groundcovers and hosta.
Have a good night everyone!
JO, so glad you get to enjoy Alexis' dance recital! Love watching Irish dances.
Very concerned about MADIBA. They say it is serious this time. He has been in and out of hospitals for the past while and he is 94 years old. What will South Africa do when he crosses the veil...I hope the peace continues...
I am home from watching so much dancing! This recital has many many students - even an adult group which I love to watch. Alexis was exceptional with her groups performances. I was just filled with so much pride as they performed their Irish Step dance. She didn't miss a beat!
I know you say you are waiting for Loretta to come on as you are taking her comment to mean She herself was going to the nest. I think it might not mean exactly that..... It may just mean that if we want to know what is going on at the nest we will need to go find out for ourselves.
Boy though - would be great if Loretta did visit the Royal Palace!
If I make it to market tomorrow I won't leave Shep'town without riding by NCTC. NO PROMISES
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Shirley I am going to see The Great Gatsby Monday with dear gal pal....friends since high school (we graduated in 1969 ! ) and then some chow at Applebees.... Looking forward to some glitz and some fellowship
I went to Swinging Bridge after work...heard the Scarlet Tanager ... "Sings like a Robin with a Sore Throat" - but never saw it! But I did see Baltimore Oriole, Indigo Bunting, Cedar WaxWings, Eastern Kindbird...
Jack is working a crossword puzzle on his kindle while watching hockey. Jacob is loading up my ipad with games. lol We are limiting his TV but not the computer games. He has a few toys here but not many. Almost time for bed,
I won't make it to market Sunday..... James Day...and some things to attend to in the morning, including some exercises for back, neck, shoulders, and HANDS AND ARMS... BUT, my Megan "Italian Romaine" Lettuce is giving me every other day cuttings, and my Megan Snapdragon blooms are about to "Bust Open." Happy Happy, Joy Joy ☺
"Back in the Day..." and reminiscing here... I used to love to hear the laughter of my older siblings...home from college in the summertime.......as they listened to Steve Allen on the late night shows ♥
My brother Fred in Naples Florida reports minimal disruption from Andrea... BUT other brother Prairie Dog John has had some problems with his prairie dog research in New Mexico because of Wildfires....first time EVER he had to vacate from his research sites :(
When I saw those Milkweed Plants, I was really missing Wanda on here !!! haven't found roadside Butterfly Weed yet....because Department of Highways has been mowing! Nuts !! :(
Jo and Lolly, loved your photos on FB! Bev has posted a bunch of photos of their vaca to the beach as well.
Paula, hope you can get some outdoor time today - don't work too hard!
It rained here AGAIN yesterday - sun came out in the late afternoon. Hope it stays out - like Jo, some of my pots with annuals are waterlogged and need some major drying out!
My 4 young tennis players arrived yesterday, one with her boyfriend. Three don't have a vehicle so I just loaned them my Jeep for the afternoon/evening. One has a match at 10am and two have matches at 1pm that they have to win to qualify to get into the singles main draw. The fourth is already in the main draw. Three of the girls are undergraduates - all are on FULL scholarships for tennis - one to the University of Miami, one to Purdue, and one to Northwestern! All very nice young ladies. The fourth (the one who brought her boyfriend) graduated from Virginia Commonwealth (I think) and is working on her Masters degree at UNC. She is originally from the Ukraine and stayed here last summer with us. She brought me tea, chocolate, and a pair of earrings from her visit to the Ukraine last winter.
I sure hope they all win today, and I hope they get some decent weather!
No tennis for me today, except to watch a little bit of the French Open final on TV and then watch the girls play (hope Kelsey and Brooke play close enough to one another that I can watch both matches). Guess I'll be grilling lots of chicken this afternoon for the first "big dinner" of the summer!
Good morning. For those watching Alcoa. Honor and Glory fledged this morning about 5:30 or so nest time. 60 secs apart. Dex and i are off to coffee and dog treats. HAGD everyone.
I miss catching up on all the "doings" of "As The Blog Turns" but progress is being made. Painters arrive tomorrow morning. Most daunting task of my entire life.
Will let you know when the computers have to be disconnected so desks can be moved for painting.
May all of you have a wonderful day and I send wishes that everyone and family members and critters are all well.
Sandperson is on permanent schedule to begin visits at 11pm. ♥
Just wanted to stop by and say Hello. I've noticed the Cam has been down but didn't know why. Looks like they have been working hard to fix problem. We were fishing in Shepherdstown, Sharpsburg and Middletown. Would have slipped by nest but it was late and we needed to stop at Food Lion before going home. Got a lot of things around house today but might be able to get down that way this evening. If I can get by I'll try and give some kind of report. Last time people were following too close and wasn't sure we could stop near the house on the sharp turn without causing a problem. Either way...hope everyone can enjoy their summer's. Take care all.
quick good morning to all. i am at the school and the first student has just walked in, so i cna't read back. forgot my computer cords at the school last night so didn't catch up then.
just wanted to wish everyone a light and lovely day! thinking of each of you!
Good Sunday morning - just got home from Mass and will soon venture over to Shepherdstown Market to get my Megan Flowers. Make it a good day for all those around you today and yourself
Judie: I think Jo has a very cool idea...find a Safe House.... Your roost will become quite fragrant with all kinds of new "aromas" these next few weeks... (( Household Hugs ♥ ))
Headed soon to see James and do the Berkeley Springs things that are such fun for us....
Thinking of Every One with Buckets of Love and Care ♥
There is a problem with the cable that goes up the tree. Some kind of critter has chewed it. We are not sure if it can be fixed this season. You can find more details if you check Steve's recent posts.
Well, the Sycamore Palace may be empty soon. And there is privacy since the cam is down. Wonder if Judie and Darth can get up there? May be calmer than their nest.
And, the poison ivy might have been removed by now.
Good afternoon! Have been to church and now need to rustle up some lunch. Luke does well when we are gone as long as we have all doors closed or blocked so he can not shut himself into a room, lol He went bananas when we got home! So funny! He grabbed one of his toys and wanted me to chase him, so chase him I did!
We got rain this morning!! .6 of an inch! Wahooo! We water on our days and then it rains.???? It rains on our neighbors days to water. What are they doing right that we are not?
I have just returned from Shepherdstown Market and then did get to view the Royal Palace at NCTC. One adult was way up in the attic and up on the stump was a Juvie. I only saw the one juvie - I stayed a while but still only saw the adult and juvie. I did look around at surrounding trees and also as I crossed the Potomac River bridge I was looking skyward. Until we get any further ground reports from NCTC staff this upcoming week I would be confident saying that we have one juvie who has taken his/her first flight.
Good Afternoon Eagle Buds! Mema Jo, you are a Godsend!!!Tales of the Palace! Were you allowed on the grounds? Or was your sighting from the road? I'm thinking if someone's taking a nap, might be hard to see. This is about the time we went to nest when Hidey was getting ready to fledge I think. Having a mechanical gardening activity!Took the dying flowers and most of the dirt out of one pedistal pot. I think it does not drain well.Got electric drill and made more holes in the bottom. Dirt had to be mixed with new bagged soil & some Perlite to make it drier. Letting it sit in sun for awhile before I plant new ones! Happy Afternoon, ☺ ♥
JO thanks for the report on our children I wonder if the other may have been laying in the nest if you didn't see HMMM remember one was lazier than the other LOL
I'm going to the nest????? I wish!! Jo went to the nest. I was just recalling that about 3 years ago we went there in June and got to see Hidey before he fledged.
As I sometimes stop by Park nest and peek between the leaves, I can hardly see anything. Last pics I took showed one bigger lump on the right and a small dark spot on the left, but nothing definitive.
Shirley, do appreciate the thought! As long as we are so below the percentage in the lake we are on water rationing. Scary as we approach the hot part of the summer. Right now everything is really green and looking good.
We let Jacob plan the menu. Tonight ribs! I will go for that!
Tomorrow is a problem. He has baseball practice at 6 in Denton, an hour away. We are going to eat at 3 so I can leave right after we eat. Traffic at that time is going to be horrendous, making the hour trip much longer. We will go to his house if we get there too early. Jack is doing the same thing when he takes Jacob on Thursday.
Six o'clock games do make for a problem with dinner. We have been waiting until after the game, as Kathryn goes straight from work to the game--I try to have some snack stuff for Hunter pre-game.
Sometimes we cook, sometimes we pick up something.
An hour away makes it even harder, that is for sure.
No rain here on our side of the Mountains....but I think it is not too far away
I see lightning bugs tonight AND I saw my very first fawn of the season, cute, little, and frisky !
Good Evening Eagle Pals.... Bravo Jo! You got to see Megan AND the Royal Palace...it doesn't get much better than that! Thanks for the Bird's Eye Report !
My Megan Snapdragons have two blooms ready to burst into beautiful flowers... also have Stella D'Oro from prior years...from Megan of course! They are getting ready to "bust out" also.
Shirley....I'll give you a report on Gatsby sometime Monday evening ... first "adult" movie I will see at a movie theater in quite some time!
JO thank you thank you thank you for your nest report. It is exciting that you saw an adult and a juvie...how long were you there...some asked if the other could have been plotzed, yet it seems to me that during the time of day that you would have been there both would have been up...this based on previous observations...I am very grateful for your report...
I feel a cold coming on Jordyn had a runny nose and Angie said she had a gland issue so here it goes the mean old germ has arrived YUK I have started taking Oscillococcinum so hope it helps Just started sneezing today and have that feeling comin on
Thinking of JUDIE and I think going to a hotel for the week is a good idea...the fumes I bet will be strong and not healthy to sleep in.
SANDI, sorry that the Ukrainian player lost her match and she will not stay longer. It is sweet that she brought gifts. Driving insurance policies must be far more relaxed in the US than they are in Canada...you loaned them your SUV to drive??? WOW that would drive the insurance rates here through the roof. I have a caveate on mine that anyone who drives my car besides me must have ten years experience driving and only for emergencies at that...
Good Luck on the new planting strategy, Loretta... !! Oh, James and I saw an awesome Plymouth Fury Convertible this evening in Berkeley Springs...I can't tell you what year it was, but it was beauteous...
I am spraying "botanically friendly" on tomatoes and sunflowers, either ants, or earwigs, or maybe aphids doing a number on them already :)
But the James Asters are doing wonderfully and nothing seems to be messing with them !!!
Just want to say..... I appreciate all the links that you folks post, different wildlife and nest cam news and views...I just don't get to checking them too often.... though I gab on and take up space.... sometimes in the middle of a sleepless or late night I do try to check them
Getting to the countdown on surgery for one hand for carpal tunnel on June 21 - I'll be off work for ?? at least two weeks... so I am trying to get things all lined up....food, easy clothing, transportation, and doing some rigorous exercises to try to stave off surgery on the Right Hand.... so I'll be jabbering less and less as this day approaches
Just wondering how I will manage my Hair with one hand... LOL I could get it cut very short, BUT I am not going to do that, No Way! Will have some gal pals check in to help with that !!!

Good morning all. It's fish for breakfast :-} Off to run lots of errands.
Thanks for the report Steve and the new thread. Good morning grannyblt and Glo!
Good morning!
THANKS STEVE FOR THE FROM THE GROUND OBSERVATION! PLEASE KEEP IT UP!
Morning all,
Thanks Steve,morning report is reassuring.
Sent a Momster email out.
About John Glenn
Kinda long.
Hope no one minds.
Happy 20th Anniversary to Judie and Frank
Congratulations on graduating, Justin
Congratulations Dana and Sandi on your year of teaching
Christine got a call that packers would be there on the 18th and her move will be on the 20th. NOW - I am praying that one of those 2 homes would become available before her move - They will need to come temporary to Frederick but it would be great if they could go straight to wherever they'll be permanently.
We will wait and see - God is in the driver's seat! ♥
Reposting:
Sis and Tom just left the neurosurgeon. No surgery. He has to go back on Monday to have an epidural steroid injection. He goes back to the doctor in 3 weeks and they will take it from there. He is not to work until after that.
CarolAnne - Did not receive any email on Momsters site... I'll keep looking.
THANK YOU, STEVE, for the report and the new thread!
Thanks for the call over, LYNNE1...congrats on the special feather!
SHAR, did I miss news on Tom? What's up? Again, congrats on Justin's graduation today!
Mema Jo - hmmmm
Will check on it in a bit.
Good morning,
Raining like crazy here.
Thank you, Steve, for the report from ground observations of the eagle activities.
Happy anniversary, Judie and Darth.
Congratulations on your graduation, Justin.
Paula - that's exciting news that you and/or Larry could find employment down near Paradise.
My plan for today, Lori is just to
try to count raindrops! lol
HELLO home from seeing Winter the Dolphin

Seeing info about Bev-sissy's Tom...hope all condition will be healed 100%...
sounds like a back problem ??
Woof, Ouch, and shucks!
Shirley, I know I have a gutter problem at the apartment bldg....and I also know it would be some time before it gets fixed, so now I know....that I will just have to get used to it and all the dripping water
and now I know I hav to get back to my work here...
Thinking of All....with Best Wishes for all possible good things
xoxoxox ♥
Not sure I could eat a bacon/egg/doughnut sandwich, either, Judy. However, I think Margy can eat whatever she wants. She burns plenty of calories and stays skinny enough to do that.
LOL Shirley....I have really curbed on the sugars since Jan 1
but now a treat is really more like a, treat....
Oh my, shooting at Santa Monica College. Sounds as if there could have been more than one shooter.
afternoon, all
Arrived here safe and sound.
I'll be watching the weather news
on the telly
appreciating that news from Steve about the fish drop this morning, bet the nest is Super Soggy, and the Eagles also
Juvie eagle just flew over! And saw the bunting again! Pouring here now.

Thank you Sir.
Put out some mealworms in hopes of attracting bluebirds. No luck yet.
Would love to see an indigo bunting.
89 not 98 !!!
Sounds like a delightful lady, Hoda.
Happy anniversary to Laurel and Joey.
Rain has slacked off here.
Happy birthday, Mona Bobbit!
A beach job for the summer sounds like fun, Paula.
Thank you SHIRLEY I will tell her of your Birthday wishes.
I am now off to go to the little village of YMIR for our second Kazuri Jewellery Sale...
You all will be asleep by the time I return. I will check in however.
Glad to hear that BEV'S TOM does not need surgery and that they have other routes to take first. Thank you SHAR for bringing it over here.
Blessed Be
I ♥ US
Hoda--Kathryn takes Allegra during the day. She says it works the best if you take it every day . . . doesn't necessarily work the first day. She was taking Allegra when it was a prescription med.
Good evening eagle buds

Good evening - and HI to all
I am watching Hallmark movie
BBL when it is over
Good evening everyone.
Two weeks? That is pretty tough, Judie.
Okay Judie....we'll be here when you return....
I will have pillows and blankie,
stamps and cards and snail mail addresses....remaining in my possession,
not much else here I really really need, oh, pictures, I need them

Prayers for Wellness, Amongst us all...
G'night, Precious Pals
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo ♥
Good Evening Eagle Buds. "Didn't it rain Children? Didn't rain, oh my Lord"??!! I start singing that song on days like this. A group called the Phoenix Singers that toured with Harry Belafonte eons ago sang that. ☺
Anyway, since it was raining I left my camera in the car at Chelsea, so of course the goose family came by & goslings are like large ducks already!!
My delightful Hallmark movie is over and trying to catch some of the news. My plants are waterlogged - need that sun to perk them up!
With tomorrow being Saturday I'm not looking for a ground report :(
IF I get to market Sunday I promise to ride out to NCTC area.
I am going to close for the day
Best of success Hoda for the Grans sale
Good Night to all and God Bless you and your loved ones. Praying for good health for those in need.
Tonight I will say I miss you Lynn♥
SED & AOYP
Still raining here
Got the tub caulked and nail holes filled.
Vanity I liked won't work...will look again tomorrow.
Had soup and grilled cheese for dinner:)
Hoda, hope your sale was successful
Hi and bye Lynne. How is Steve's foot?
We are home. Had a good afternoon and evening in Denton. Joey had graduation to go to as several of his students asked him to be there. Jack did the repair jobs, we watched Joseph mow, edge and blow the walk. He is such a great kid! Worked with Laurel on the food she will be preparing. She is going as "the cook". 15 kiddos and 7 adults. We also enjoyed pizza, Some anniversary for them. lol
Jacob and Luke have gone to bed and I am about ready to go there myself. I better publish this fast. Twice I have about fallen asleep.
Night all! SED!!
Coming back to say good night. The weather seems to have calmed this evening. I think we have had enough rain for awhile.
See you tomorrow. SED, everyone. God bless.
I feel blessed and I ♥♥♥ US
Goodnight
PRAYERS♥
I just read up on the village of Ymir. It has 231 people according to the 2011 census, not five hundred as I had thought. So I think it us even more incredible that we made 1100 dollars there tonight!!
Goodnight
God Bless
Make it a great day all!
GOOD Morning Eagle Buds Another work day for me
77° out now Gonna be a HOT one
LIght, love hugs and smiles to all; holding each of you close in my heart and thought, healing for all in need!
double post. my delete and my apologies.
Good Saturday morning everyone!
Would like to work in the yard, but it's still so wet...everything is soaked.
Good morning,
Brought the laptop upstairs this morning.
Basset ears get very wet on days like this.
Groan.....
It has been raining on and off all morning. A tiny bit of sun for a moment, but now it is raining again.
Sorry--did not mean to take so much space.
Good morning - Hoping I'll see the sun for a little bit today
This evening is ggd Alexis' dance recitial. She is in her 5th yr of dance and will perform in 4 of the dances. Her Irish Step is a favorite.
I'll check in and out today
Everyone take care
Shirley - you pulled a Wanda!
There should be a charge per line lol ♥
Aren't you going to blame it on George?
I think it was because I hit the "enter" key, Jo. ")
Wet Basset Ears....I can picture that Shirley!
and Luna checking out "all the intersting smells"
and Meatball doing the Irish Step, Jo...sounds like it will be soooooo dear !
Happy Everyone...xoxoxo
interesting, I left out a letter
I See lots of cool comments, just
a little pressed for time at work right now
Hope Every One has a Very
Good Day
xoxo
Well guess what.
my first Royal Nest visit with
Momsters and Dadsters and the Royal
Family and the Eagle Express...
was June 7 2008....
what a pleasant experience....
then and to follow ☺
Home from Sat morn errands. Its bath day for Dex. First time since his flea meds 2 weeks ago that it has been warm and sunny enough to give him a bath which I always like to do 2 days after the spot stuff. He is a really long wet rag mop but warm weather and a walk works wonders since he now hates the bath part of this, I hope everyone will have a good weekend.
Good morning or afternoon as the case may be,
Wishing the best for those who are packing or purging, remodeling or moving, with too much rain or not enough, those with visitors or gone visiting, the walkers & watchers, and all the furbabies, clean or dirty, wet or dry.
Yardwork, bread baking, garage painting and garden tending on the to -do list today.
Have the best day you can have!
Happy sunshiny Saturday. Have to catch up with everyone.
Enjoy today.
Home from the house warming, it was all family and loads of fun. A cousins grandson was there so Jacob had someone to play with. Yea! They are third cousins and love the fact that they were cousins. Jacob is a year older than Logan but twice the size!!
Going to take it easy for the rest of the day!
Good afternoon/ evening all.
HELLO home for the day
YEAH LORETTA is going to the Nest from what I read Oh I can't wait for a update from her
Yes JUDYE waiting for reports from LORETTA...keep checking. Nothing yet...
Waiting for Angie and Carl to call we are going to see the new 3D animated movie out EPIC I just live just about a mile from the movies but they live 15 miles from me so not for sure if we will see the 3d one at 645 the regular one is at 7 15
HODA she is probably soaking in all our eagle for us to tell us about it
Enjoy the movie JUDYE.
I hope she takes pictures...LORETTA that is and I hope she has more words than LYNNE has had lately!!! Love you LYNNE.
HEY today is WORLD OCEANS DAY just on the news
Also on the news a four year old shoots and kills his father as they were visiting a friend. Both Military men!!! I do not understand unsecured loaded weapons I am afraid. I do not want to start an argument...I just do not fathom it!
Hoda, the Big Book is left over from teaching. Gave away around 30 Big Books to Joseph's 1 st grade teacher. Saved a few for the grandboys!
Same with you, Hoda on the guns.
Belmont Stakes about to start!
GREAT! Sounds like everyone has had a good day!
Lori - if you can get Avon's Skin So Soft (they even have it in bug defense). Works well & smells good too.
Very concerned about MADIBA. They say it is serious this time. He has been in and out of hospitals for the past while and he is 94 years old. What will South Africa do when he crosses the veil...I hope the peace continues...
Just played a game of Bocce. Jacob and Jack paired up against me and I won!!! Wahoooo!
NO PROMISES
I need to crawl under the covers early tonight. Did not really sleep last night.
SED, everyone. See you tomorrow.
Applause for Alexis!!
And a standing ovation!!
Can't wait to hear about your visit to the nest, Jo. I have to
assume that you will be going there. :)

Goodnight.

Just caught up and the sandman is knocking on the door.
Wishing everyone restful sleep and pleasant dreams.
Prayers for all in need. God bless.
Goodnight.
Good Sunday morning my eagle friends!
Make it a great day all!
Morning Sandi & those who come later,
Sounds like you have somme nice visitors. Good luck to them all.
Cloudy morning here. Hoing summer shows up one of these days.
Depressing news this morning. Gas is now $4.32 a gal in our area. If that keeps up the tourist industries will be hurt.
Off to son 's Fireman's Pancake Breakfast, then as we will be 2/3 of way to cottage will head there to check on things. Long day on the road.
Have a great day!
Good grief --typos!
Somme - some
Hoing - hoping
GOOD MORNING eagle buds
WOW CA on your gas prices we are 325
Good morning. For those watching Alcoa. Honor and Glory fledged this morning about 5:30 or so nest time. 60 secs apart. Dex and i are off to coffee and dog treats. HAGD everyone.
Good morning.
Good morning,
All is well in Fredericksburg. Time to put together some breakfast here.
Will be thinking of you and Darth this week, Judie. Hoping all things go smoothly.
Yikes on the gas prices, CA!
Enjoy the tennis today, Sandi.
Hope you figure out the posting issues, Margy. I went through that too, but have been able to post recently.
Hope the cabinet works for you, Paula.
Congrats on the fledges at Alcoa. Thanks for the news, Glo.
Enjoy Gatsby, Margy. I await your comments.
Guessing Annie will prefer the garage, Lolly.
BBL.
I will try to get to the nest MTBR
Judie - I wish there were a "Safe House" that you and Frank could go to for a week ! lol
Best Wishes for a Very Good Day to
All.....
Judie: I think Jo has a very cool idea...find a Safe House....
Your roost will become quite fragrant with all kinds of new
"aromas" these next few weeks...
(( Household Hugs ♥ ))
Headed soon to see James and do the Berkeley Springs things that are such fun for us....
Thinking of Every One with
Buckets of Love and Care ♥

Good afternoon all. First match is over - Lena lost. =( I guess her stay in Bethany will be a short one.
Home for lunch, then back over to the tennis center for 2 matches at 1pm.
Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Also hope Jo can get to the nest and give us a report on what's going on. Would love to live closer!
Hi Jerry--
Good to see you here.
I'll contribute a pair of binoculars so that they can observe eagle activity in the area.
Lolly - maybe hold the rainstick upside down?!?
Here are photos from my trip to Alcoa this morning. Alcoa Fledge Day Album
HOME from work
JO thanks for the report on our children I wonder if the other may have been laying in the nest if you didn't see HMMM remember one was lazier than the other LOL
HI JERRY so good to hear from you
Wow! Just when I thought it could not rain any harder, it did. And it is supposed to keep raining for awhile.
Yesterday's paper said they are watching the rivers hereabouts. Wish I could send you some of this water, Lolly.
There was a rainbow and now the rain has stopped for the moment.
Jo, really do appreciate your nest report. Thank you!
OK, I found the disclaimer of what I said Sat. PM~~~~
"Guess we'll have to drive to Shep, town to see what's happening!"
The we'll meant any or all of us!
They'd probably never let me in anyway!! Unless I could drop a couple prominent names~~~How about Sen. Byrd???? ☺
The rain has arrived. Coming down pretty heavy. I hadn't watered the outside planters so I'm enjoying the showers.
I put my hanging planters on the steps so they could soak up the rain. Just hope it does not rain so hard it damages the plants.
I see lightning bugs tonight
AND I saw my very first fawn of the season,
cute, little, and frisky !
Good Evening Eagle Pals....
Bravo Jo! You got to see Megan AND the Royal Palace...it doesn't get much better than that!
Thanks for the Bird's Eye Report !
Sounds like busy but fun, Lolly....
I like Jacob's taste in meals !
Hey facebook peeps the lawyer for the EOA that is working to stop the crap going on at Norfolk has a facebook page check it out
Lawyer Meryer-Glitzenstein for Norfolk eagle nest trying to stop the removal of nest

first "adult" movie I will see at a movie theater in quite some time!
I miss that here in Fl NO LIGHTENING BUGS
Angie and Carl put in a bid on a house today Keep finger crossed that they get it
Fingers, AND toes crossed, JudyE....
sure hope it turns out their way!
Chicory...new avatar....coming out along the roadsides, and stays out
until the Fall....the Perfect Blue color....
JO thank you thank you thank you for your nest report. It is exciting that you saw an adult and a juvie...how long were you there...some asked if the other could have been plotzed, yet it seems to me that during the time of day that you would have been there both would have been up...this based on previous observations...I am very grateful for your report...
I feel a cold coming on
Jordyn had a runny nose and Angie said she had a gland issue so here it goes the mean old germ has arrived YUK
I have started taking Oscillococcinum so hope it helps
Just started sneezing today and have that feeling comin on
Maybe it would or could be one
of Judie's Paint Colors ☺
Love your avatar MARGY
Rest! Germs HATE rest...and push fluids, lots of good Florida Orange Juice, JudyE....kick that bug to the curb PRONTO !!
Thanks JudyE....I sure do like
seeing something new wildflower coming out ☺
Best wishes to all our Sports Kids here....
Jacob, Hunter...and I am sure there are more that we have not
heard about yet
I guess before midnight or early in the day we'll get to the
SPLIT
11 posts or fewer from now....
I am good with REST I love my BED I love sleeping LOL
Thinking of JUDIE and I think going to a hotel for the week is a good idea...the fumes I bet will be strong and not healthy to sleep in.
SANDI, sorry that the Ukrainian player lost her match and she will not stay longer. It is sweet that she brought gifts. Driving insurance policies must be far more relaxed in the US than they are in Canada...you loaned them your SUV to drive??? WOW that would drive the insurance rates here through the roof. I have a caveate on mine that anyone who drives my car besides me must have ten years experience driving and only for emergencies at that...
I know Lynne2 likes Chicory too, hope she is seeing some !
And many more wonderful Wildlife and Wildflower things....
(( Hugs Across the Miles, Lynne2 ))
Hi MARGY and JUDYE...follow MARGY'S advice JUDYE in regards kicking the bug to the curb.
Good Luck on the new planting
strategy, Loretta...
!!
Oh, James and I saw an awesome
Plymouth Fury Convertible this evening in Berkeley Springs...I can't tell you what year it was,
but it was beauteous...
I am spraying "botanically friendly" on tomatoes and sunflowers, either ants, or earwigs, or maybe aphids doing a number on them already :)
But the James Asters are doing wonderfully and nothing seems to be messing with them !!!
Howdy Hoda!
Bravo on all your recent
fellowships and I ALWAYS enjoy hearing about YOUR menus....
This is rest a bit week for you ??
Just want to say.....
I appreciate all the links that you folks
post, different wildlife and nest cam news and views...I just don't get to checking them too often....
though I gab on and take up space....
sometimes in the middle of a sleepless or late night I do try to
check them
Getting to the countdown on
surgery for one hand for carpal
tunnel on June 21 - I'll be off
work for ?? at least two weeks...
so I am trying to get things all
lined up....food, easy clothing,
transportation, and doing some
rigorous exercises to try to
stave off surgery on the Right Hand....
so I'll be jabbering less and less as this day approaches
Just wondering how I will
manage my Hair with one hand...
LOL
I could get it cut very short, BUT I am not going to do that, No Way!
Will have some gal pals check in
to help with that !!!
Love your avatar, Margy.
Greatly appreciate your nest report, Jo.
So I will be starting
Summertime time...first official day of it on June 21 -
