Wow! Three eggs at BW. That is very eggciting! Just came in. I is tired! lol We did not rake a lot as we decided not to burn, too windy. Jack is at work in his workshop so I continued cleaning up flowerbeds. Had another load to go to the burn pile and Jack decided to burn after all. Thank you for the reports and the news is good. Glad that things are on the mend and JO actually posted on the blog today. YAY.

I like it too that PAULA and LARRY are putting LIGHT HOUSES on their Beach Properties. It is pretty cool to offer the Light to what is out there...Painting her very own little Light House...Five feet is a lot of feet I would say.Have fun PAULA.
Hey folks, for those interested, on Discovery channel, the special about the Giant Squid is on...it's the first time footage of one ever captured! it's a 2 hour special...we are recording it.
A friend of my sister's had a stray bullet hit a mirror in the hallway where she had put her purse only minutes before. A stray bullit from the street!!!It is not the Egypt that I know and I grew up with two wars and a revolution. The rule of law prevailed. Not in today's Egypt I am afraid. Good Evening Eagle Buds! I've got to read back but hope all our "patients" are getting better!
Hoda, I haven't written on blog about this, yet, but the other day when I heard about the Egyptian shootings in the streets, I was just shocked & we must pray for all your relatives and the people of the land to stay safe. We in No. Am. haven't had this except for hooligans in each city these days. I pray perhaps your family can move away from the unrest.
Talked to daughter today & her hubby, Jim, has one week to go on business trip to Saudi Arabia. He's doing techie 'puter work at a plant and went there Friday w/his escort and was met at door by guard w/an AK47 & there was a cannon aimed at him! Seems Friday must be a day off over there! He and companion went in another door that was open! I hope he doesn't go back!
I did work on pics today and will put them in the Nook as soon as I eat something. So if you're a night owl, you might see them or there's always the AM!

Hoda, I join everyone else in saying prayers for your family and friends in Egypt. We are fortunate here.
Lynne, your pictures on FB are absolutely beautiful. And your very educated commentary is so informative.
Kathryn went out to Walmart and came home with her very own laptop today. It was on clearance and is the first new computer she has ever owned. She uses a computer to stay in touch with Hunter's school among many other things.
HODA, dear sweet friend, heart, light, love and energy to you and your family. you are right we do not know what it is like.
JUDYE's adn my mom was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1928...she lived through world war 2....in bombshelters, in the fields...she talked of walking over blackened corpses, adn such, the river on fire.....such horrors for any human to endure.
No, we do not know those horrors and for that I am thankful, but think of those who do. Moms' stories tuned me into such things.
I send blessings your way and to your family, that there may soon be a peaceful and quick rseolution to the problems that they are facing....
Holding you close, dear friend. Light and love to you today and always...

Germany--one of my neighbors described the fear they lived under during the time of Hitler. She said she felt guilt over the things done to the Jewish people. Of course, she and her family were victims, too.
Maybe I will be taller after all these stretching excercises. Not likely.
Hoda, I love your Winter stories... I can feel it sometimes, through your words... Just read Isaac's Caring Bridge report for today: ******************************
What a week!!
Written 1 hour ago What a week it has been! We're exhausted but Isaac has done very well adapting to being at home. We've had a few bumps since being home but things seem to have started evening out the last couple of days. He is still on continuous feeds which we had to pull back the rate on for a couple of days and work our way back up. Oral feeding is more like tasting and playing at this point but we realize this is going to take time. Isaac was able to handle a little sip of water this evening without gagging...progress! Please continue to keep us in your prayers! We are all just so thankful & happy to be home together. BLESSED!!!
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS. Love and prayers being sent your way♥
Watched TV tonight after an early bath. Yard work makes one quite dirty!☺
Hoda, you have all of our prayers for your sister and family. ((hugs)) for you. Your day sounds like a great time...while I pulled weeds and raked leaves with temp around 75.
Another warm day tomorrow and then because of the warm weather chance of violent storms on Tuesday. It should move through fast so not much rain expected, but could be bad.
Lynne, this should interest Steve. Jack was reading one of his new Civil war books tonight and read about Old Abe. I googled it and there was lots to read.
A quick morning for me here...need to shower and get on the road before the freezing rain begins. Wish I worked for the government and had the option of teleworking! That would be awesome, versus being at the mercy of the weather.
Good Monday morning Lori and all my eagle friends! Looks and sounds like its doing something at the nest, which is MT BTW. Nothing falling from the sky here yet but it's coming. maybe starting as a little ice but then turning to rain.
Hoda, prayers for your family in Egypt. I cannot imagine having to live in such fear all the time!
Dana, happy Catholic Schools Week!
Jo, hope you continue to feel better and get home soon!
Prayers for all of the needs on our blog, esp. for Dana's dad, Lori's dad, Jo, Christine, Hoda's family in Egypt, and Lynne and Steve to get out of that freezing dungeon of an apartment!
Make it a great day - stay safe on the roads this AM!
Good Monday morning! We have been given another one to enjoy and make the most of!!!
It was a lovely weekend, after all was said and done.
Yesterday was bath day in my house for the dogs. Scout smelled like the doggie jail and so in the tub i went...and then one dog at a time joined me. What a mess to clean up after, but everyone smells nice and fresh and everyone's fur shines.
We are expecting rain again for the nexg few days, with severe weather Tuesday night/Wed morning. I prefer snow to this!!! GRRRRR
We are rocking into another week, my friends! Let's hope for lots of good news, healing and health, freedome and joy for all, and plenty of Eagle sightings!
Boomer is up to his old tricks. Threw up yesterday a couple of socks. Still acting like something is in his belly. I keep going out with him in this cold and wet. Geesh...wish dogs would learn lessons. Keeping an eye on him and hoping it's not going to require a vet trip!!!
The county where I work has posted this on it's website:
Carroll County Public School employees and central office staff should report 2 hours late.
Emergency staff should report on time. 1-28-2013
No where does it say the SCHOOLS are delayed, and there is no mention of it on any of the major news stations, either.....so, are the kids supposed to report to school? LOL.....EPIC FAIL!!!
FYI...I myself am on a 2 hour delay. And hopefully I can actually feel safe leaving later.
Lolly, Janet....these parts here are expecting potential severe weather on Wed pm. from same system. 37 high to day, 50 tomorrow, 60 on Wed (wow!) and then in the PM that strong front moves in.
Oh what a mommy will do for her doggy. Let me just say that a knee sock came out and hopefully their isn't anything else in him. Trust me we do not leave socks around but he seems to be helping himself to the laundry basket.
good morning everyone. Hoping you all stay safe and warm. No slip sliding by car or on foot. Our ice is melted, warm with maybe some more rain today.Tomorrow night maybe some snow. YEP CRAZY!!! Prayers for all. HAGD
Dana - I can't get over Boomer eating so many darn socks!!! Silly, silly boy. Glad he's been able to, uh, make them appear again without a trip to the vet. Thinking of your dad.
Hope everyone is having a great start to the week. Pretty quiet weekend for me (thank goodness), lots of birds at the bird seed. Even had a murder of crows come in, had to run them off, just too many.
Mema Jo, thinking of you, dear. Hope you are improving every day and get to go home soon. What a great report on Isaac, thank you Wanda.
Back to work for me. Will check back later. Love and hugs to all.
We just switched from snow to sleet here. I can hear the sleet hitting the window.
Am in the surgical waiting room waiting for Dennis. He is having his hernia surgery this morning. Poor guy needs a break from all these surgeries and hospitals!! If it isn't one thing, it's another.
Dennis' surgeon just finished and came to report that everything went well! Hernia is patched and if he does well in recovery, we should be able to go home this afternoon!!
Good morning! Linda, you snuck that surgery in on us. Hope Dennis does well. Amazing that he might go home this afternoon. Will keep him in thought and prayer.
69 here and going up. Slept with the windows open last night. Wild! Probably another day of raking leaves if it is not too windy, but first a quick trip to the grossssserie story!
Berkeley County - here - probably shoulda just canceled schools. Jewels reports that lots of buses were getting stuck, kids out in the weather waiting on them... sounds like Jewels's two stayed home, I think, Jewels is OFF today Wahoo !
So glad you got some Eagle time in today, Lolly ☺ Yes of course your sun warms me up ☺♥ Have a good day and here's a (( )) for Jack ☺ and one (( )) for you
What a nice long visit by our lovely pair in the Sycamore. Looks like about 45 minutes or so and then someone came back and landed on the cam (a little shaking)
Yesineedy it was a nice visit, the colors so vibrant wondering what they were all achirpy about. Have to chuckle at the stick at the 9-spot on the nest, looks like it has been gnawed good!
Hallelujah, Linda....something went smoothly with Dennis for a change! Oh, maple tree tapping time is coming along pretty soon, right? My NY Naturalist pal is talking about it for a few weeks from now
Hear Fire house siren...probably coming from Shepherdstown or maybe Sharpsburg MD
We had a two-hour delay here. Kathryn went off and left Hunter sleeping. He got up, got dressed, and told me he had missed the bus. Thank goodness, he had not. He did not mind waiting a couple of hours.
Happy news, LINDA ! So glad things went "right" for Dennis this time !
Shivered with joy upon reading about Isaac's being home ! Hallelujah !
DANA, love reading about Boomer's sock fun ! Much more than you enjoy the reality, I'm sure ! I'm glad Penny only enjoys shredding an occasional Kleenex, so far, at least. And I've never seen evidence of her swallowing one.
There were school delays all over rural Ohio this morning, too, but none here in the city. We're expecting a 60° day tomorrow and then trending down again. That will melt off the icky slush we now have. Yeah !
Have taken note of the wonderful visits with our Eagles and have made note of prayer requests.
One of Phoebe's babes has moved out. Sister is helicoptering over the nest. Will move out soon, also.
Hoping everyone has had a good day. Especially hope that Mema Jo is doing well and will soon be home and that Christine is feeling better and Rebecca is doing well.
Was happy to see Isaac continues to make his way at home.
We got rain here in Bethany this morning and then the sun came out. temps are in the 40s today, the 50s tomorrow, and into the 60s for Wednesday before another cold front comes through with a chance of thunderstorms!! Almost all the snow has melted. =(

Good Morning Eagle Pals!
A quick morning for me here...need to shower and get on the road before the freezing rain begins. Wish I worked for the government and had the option of teleworking! That would be awesome, versus being at the mercy of the weather.
Have a great day all!
Good morning, Lori.
Having some trouble getting to sleep, and see you are already up and about. I hope it is a good day for you. We can do without that ice and whatever.
The nest is empty, and I do not see any signs of rain, snow, or sleet there.
Geese and more geese!
Actually getting warmer here. Now up to 35 degrees from 33 earlier. At least that is what the Weather Channel is saying. Interesting.
Would be nice if you could telework, Lori. Just get them to set up a microphone and all of that stuff at your house.
Good Monday morning Lori and all my eagle friends! Looks and sounds like its doing something at the nest, which is MT BTW. Nothing falling from the sky here yet but it's coming. maybe starting as a little ice but then turning to rain.

Good morning. Nice way to start out Catholic Schools Week! 2 hours delay for us! Yipee!
Have a superb day!!!! :) <3 hugs
Boomer is up to his old tricks. Threw up yesterday a couple of socks. Still acting like something is in his belly. I keep going out with him in this cold and wet. Geesh...wish dogs would learn lessons. Keeping an eye on him and hoping it's not going to require a vet trip!!!
GOOD MORNING EAGLE BUDLETS
SOUNDS LIKE RAIN AT THE NEST
So sorry about Boomer Danamo Wish you luck with him SILLY DOG

The county where I work has posted this on it's website:
Carroll County Public School employees and central office staff should report 2 hours late.
Emergency staff should report on time. 1-28-2013
No where does it say the SCHOOLS are delayed, and there is no mention of it on any of the major news stations, either.....so, are the kids supposed to report to school? LOL.....EPIC FAIL!!!
NO LYNNE THE WORDS ARE
ICE ICE BABY LOL
FYI...I myself am on a 2 hour delay. And hopefully I can actually feel safe leaving later.
Lolly, Janet....these parts here are expecting potential severe weather on Wed pm. from same system. 37 high to day, 50 tomorrow, 60 on Wed (wow!) and then in the PM that strong front moves in.
Good Morning Eagle Pals
Berkeley County is on 2-hour delay
but the next county over, Morgan is now OFF - thinking my grandson is okay with that
Honk Honk
Hope things warm up and your trip will be okay, Lynne...
my vehicle is uncrusted in ice right now
Thanks for the try, but I could not open up the link you sent for
pictures, take your time on that,
I really appreciate your effort

Hi JudyE!
I did see Shep, I was stretching and not blogging
Nice update on Isaac,
Thanks Wanda!
Good thing about some of the roads, is that there was already some stuff on them, chemicals, sand and cinders...might help with the melting
Here is a nice Feel-Good Story,
about an effort by the Ellsworth Family (Mason's family) to Pay Back to the Ronald McDonald house in Baltimore:
Families Help Out
Includes a picture of
The Mason Express ☺ ♥ and
a little synopsis of Mason's Journey

Oh what a mommy will do for her doggy. Let me just say that a knee sock came out and hopefully their isn't anything else in him. Trust me we do not leave socks around but he seems to be helping himself to the laundry basket.
Just rain her now...
headed out for a doc app't.soon.
Chiropractor might get a whole bunch of new patients on a day like this :(
Best Wishes for a Good Day,
Eagle pals....

Best wishes on Catholic Schools Week...

Will keep a watch on him until I go to school this morning.I'll spare you the icky details.
Good morning my friends.
good morning everyone.
Good Morning.....I guess!!
We just switched from snow to sleet here. I can hear the sleet hitting the window.
Am in the surgical waiting room waiting for Dennis. He is having his hernia surgery this morning. Poor guy needs a break from all these surgeries and hospitals!! If it isn't one thing, it's another.
Finally caught up on my reading here...
A new fur baby at JANET's roost!! Sounds like you got a good one, too!
HODA - Praying for the safety of your sister and her family...
LORI - Welcome back. We missed you, but I know it was difficult to leave your parents. Hoping your Dad is healing well and feeling better each day.
DANA - Good luck with this crazy week! You will surely make it! Hoping Boomer's tummy is sock free and he will be okay. Praying for your Dad, too.
SANDI - How is your Mom doing? Is she gaining her strength back?
JO - We love and miss you, but we are happy you are being well cared for.
Stay safe out there, friends! The roads are bad in so many of our areas. If you can stay home, DO so!!!
xoxo
Dennis' surgeon just finished and came to report that everything went well! Hernia is patched and if he does well in recovery, we should be able to go home this afternoon!!
God is good......
Two eagles at the BW nest. Was hoping to see the eggs, but so far no luck!
Looks like one flew in with a snack but the one on the eggs has not budged. Poof! Went the one eating.
Have finished my coffee and now time to start my day! Hope Lynne was able to get to work. Please be careful if you have to get out on the roads.
Have a great day!
Now I see and heard two eagles at our nest.
Just finished breakfast, heard an eagle cry, looked over and there they were. Good morning Belle and Shep!
Shep poofed.
Nest looks nice and fluggy!
Belle is watching something intently. Will Shep boomerang?
Yep, Shep returnes with a rail.
I am thankful for the beautiful color at the nest. Remember our lack of color? Then occasionally a glimpse of yellow beak or claw.
both working on egg cup.
Beaking
Lots of beaking.
I find it interesting that every year the egg cup is in the exact same place.
Both just looking around.
Belle occasionally cries out. Thin Shep is about to poof again. Wonder if something is bothering them.
Wish the cam was moved up a bit. Too often we see a headless eagle. Another cry!
Belle is stretching her neck and watching something. Now she has decided to rearrange the flugg.
Need to get busy, but hard to leave. Shep just poofed but can see his tail feathers.
He left and is now back with yet another rail.
Shep poofed yet again.
Look at those Sunny Smiley Lolly Faces on here !
Good as watching the Eagles -
I heard those chirps, saw their watchfulness....
and now I just see the feeties of one at the top
xo
Berkeley County - here - probably shoulda just canceled schools.
Jewels reports that lots of buses were getting stuck, kids out in the weather waiting on them...
sounds like Jewels's two stayed home, I think, Jewels is OFF today Wahoo !
Headless Belle still in the nest. Waiting for Shep to return with a third stick???
Feeties flew away
but someone might have landed on branches
Hi there, Margy! Hope my smiley suns warm you up!
Belle just poofed!
Now Lolly can poof too. LOL
Your Sunshine ☼ and my Magpie make beautiful colors together, Lolly☺
hi from work. Drive in failry uneventful...glad I waited.
So glad you got some Eagle time in today, Lolly ☺
Yes of course your sun warms me up ☺♥
Have a good day and here's a
(( )) for Jack ☺
and one (( )) for you
Whew, okay, Lynne...
I went out and took it easy, was not bad,
now the sidewalks are another story
Loved your tale of the GHO's talking to each other the other night.
You are living right, girlfriend!
LOL
there goes the GHO on my Audubon Clock right now !
Give me two clocks, I got it made!
What a nice long visit by our lovely pair in the Sycamore. Looks like about 45 minutes or so and then someone came back and landed on the cam (a little shaking)
Yesineedy it was a nice visit, the colors so vibrant
wondering what they
were all achirpy about.
Have to chuckle at the stick
at the 9-spot on the nest,
looks like it has been gnawed good!
Hallelujah, Linda....something went smoothly with Dennis for a change!
Oh, maple tree tapping time
is coming along pretty soon, right?
My NY Naturalist pal is talking about it for a few weeks from now
Hear Fire house siren...probably coming from Shepherdstown or maybe Sharpsburg MD
Who knows, Margy, Shep probably, poor boy. Belle can't lay eggs fast enough for him... to sit on. That fellow sure is a nester.
Yes, Susan, LOL...he is....
very eggciting times these days now...the countdown begins!
Heard that eagle chirp a few minutes ago, maybe an eagle taking off after something.
Okay, nap time for me...
pretending I am retired for the rest of the day
Thinking of all SEEN and UNSEEN
here
Prayers for wellness.....
xoxo ♥
Thanks Lynne for checking in. Had been wondering!
I am ready to head out now. 71 now, wonder if the roads are clear. lol
Well, your roads might be full of people heading to the beach, Lolly. Good grief! I think we are supposed to get some of that warmer weather later on.
We had a two-hour delay here. Kathryn went off and left Hunter sleeping. He got up, got dressed, and told me he had missed the bus. Thank goodness, he had not. He did not mind waiting a couple of hours.
Anyone else on here just get hit with a virus? My virus protection just said it stopped one. I think I had just clicked on the blog when it happened.
Good Afternoon, Eagle Buds !
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I am back and I do believe we have an eagle in the nest.
Who ever it is perhaps brought in a boulder and is trying to rearrange the furniture. It's
Shep...hard at work.
Cam just shook, Belle, come on down.
Need to mop floors and then head outside. The eagles are preventing me from getting work done. All their fault!!!
Now two eagles!
This is MY day for eagle watching!
Have quickly mopped floors. One eagle still in the nest. Not wure which one.
Headed outside. Now up to 75. Too warm!!!
Afternoon all.
MT nest. Did see Belle there earlier.
Well-wishes for all in need.
BOTH EAGLES IN THE NEST
They're in a next divided...SHEP at 5, BELLE at 11.
Good afternoon Lori and all my eagle friends! I see 2 eagles in the nest! Need to read back!
Hi SANDI - they've been around quite a bit today. I just opened up the cam and there they were! YAY!
I think Belle was just sneezing!
POOF SHEP
Poof Shep!
That is some HUGE stick Belle is wrestling with!!
We are coming up on another split.
Still just BELLE in the nest, looking around.
We got rain here in Bethany this morning and then the sun came out. temps are in the 40s today, the 50s tomorrow, and into the 60s for Wednesday before another cold front comes through with a chance of thunderstorms!! Almost all the snow has melted. =(
That sounds like our weather, too, SANDI.
SHEP back in nest, returns over 3.
BELLE working on egg cup, SHEP is standing on the rail watching.
Sounds like Shep was interested in a little somethin'-somethin' but Belle wasn't having any!
I thought the same thing, SANDI!
And Shep is off again!
