Thank you ALL for the wonderful birthday wishes and blessings!! You all sure made it even more special!!
We had a wonderful evening out to dinner and then back to my sister and brother-in-law's house for cake. It was rather late when we returned!! I was surely ready to crash!!
Poor JO ended up in the hospital herself with that breathing and coughing problem. She has been so busy checking in and worrying about everyone else, she ended up picking up something.
We need all area hospitals to be FREE of Lennox family genes!!!
Of course, I'm praying for a quick recovery for you, JO, so that you can be back home. Hopefully the hospital will get you the necessary medicine to help you breathe better.
Glad that everyone made it home from work last night with the snow in your area.
We even gave our dinner plans a second thought because of the snow, but we took the truck and did okay. It snowed the whole way there, but coming home was a little better.
Just got on here and learned that our Jo is in the hospital. Hoping that her visit is brief and successful. I see that Judie has sent the sandperson to assure restful sleep for Jo while she is there. I sincerely hope the sandperson chases away those who might unnecessarily interrupt Jo's rest.
Kathryn has two more workdays until she leaves to start her new job. She will be taking the rest of the week off between jobs, but will be very busy with appointments, etc.
She will be doing similar work, but will be advancing to a higher level of responsibility. She will be an estimator in an auto repair shop, something she has been doing already without getting the credit.
She'll start out with some training sessions here in town, so she will be spared the long commute for awhile.
Shirley, Good for Kathryn! I hope there is extra money to go along with her extra responsibilities! How long of a commute will she have?
My daughter-in-law took a job in Silver Spring,MD and their house is in Ranson, WV, not too far from Shepherdstown. The commute is an hour and a half each way!! She drives 10 minutes and then catches a train, but still ... that turns an 8 hour work day into an 11 hour one!! No thanks - not for me!
Kathryn does expect a pay raise. That is the main idea--along with a desire for more respect. Eventual commute will be the same as before. Thirty miles each way. Not fun on I-95, but the possibility of a transfer to a closer office in the future. She works a long day--ten hours on top of the commute. She was working 9 1/2 hours at the old job until her hours (and pay) were cut.
I expect Hunter's lunch will be hot dogs. They have gone to a kid event at the bowling alley. I think there's a special on hot dogs. Not wonderful, but normal for a kid. He has been very hungry lately. I expect he's in a growth spurt.
Home from a fun time! Our "0" birthday celebrations are hilarious. No nice cards allowed! Must make fun of aging! We laugh til the tears flow. Great to have such loving friends to grow older with!!
My card for Janie said on the cover "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" on the inside..."Tell me...how was it back then?"
Anyway, a fun morning.
See that more flugg has been brought to the nest, but no one saw them?
LOLLY - My youngest brother always finds the funny cards to get his digs in!!
When I turned 30, he sent me a card that said:
Front: Another year older Inside: Another year closer to looking like your mother!
This year I got one that was a cute little puppy standing up with his front paws on the back of a kitchen chair. The front said: You say you're HOW old? And the inside said: No wonder we can't teache you any new tricks!!
Back when I was still teaching, I explained to my students some of the differences between their writing machines and the ones I had in school--typewriter vs computer, etc.
Hello, hello from Patuxent River Park!!! So sorry to hear our Jo went to the hospital! Hope to cheer her up and everyone else, too, with the news that we saw SIX eagles this AM!! They were sitting and flapping in trees near the the office and at first we thought they must be vultures! They flew down to Jug Bay on the ice!!! Made our day~~especially mine as I was sad from Friday's witnessing of a Canada goose flapping it's last flap in Chelsea pond. I'm saying it flapped over the Rainbow Bridge. ♥
Loretta, wow! 6 eagles - what a sight that must have been!! Lucky you!
Lolly, last weekend when you were venting about Joey, I wanted to say something but, since I was in Baltimore posting on my Kindle and hating using that virtual keyboard, I was trying to keep my posts short. Then I forgot what I wanted to say until I was upstairs cleaning bathrooms and made the mistake of looking into Kevin's disaster of a bedroom!
Both Denny and I are neat freaks. He doesn't go as far as Jack and run the vacuum without being asked but I have never had to pick up after him. Both sons are slobs. Older son (Brian) married a slob. Keep in mind, this is a couple that allows their pig to sleep in the house!!!
Anyway, one time I commented to Brian that I had always hoped he would marry someone neat to balance out his sloppiness. His response was very wise. He said that slobs can co-exist with neat freaks and not be bothered one bit by the other person's neatness. Neat freaks, on the other hand, go crazy when they have to co-exist with someone who is a slob b/c their neatness makes it difficult, if not impossible, for them to be OK with another person's mess. He said that his marrying a neat freak would have been a recipe for an unhappy and potentially disastrous marriage.
Again, wise words from my young man. They get along just fine together in their collective mess of a house and it does indeed drive me crazy when I visit them! I could NOT live like they do! I sometimes wonder how it will affect me when and if they ever have children and my grandchildren are living in a house where nothing is ever picked up and the pig sleeps in the family room. I think I may be better off if I just have granddogs!! =)
Looks like it's snowing lightly at the nest. Not sure if the eagles have brought in new flugg and we've all missed them, or if the sun just melted some of the snow that was in the nest this morning.
Got an email from Jo about 30 minutes ago. here it is:
Good afternoon THEY WILL PROBABLY KEEP THEIR EYES ON ME UNTIL MONDAY THAT IS OK BY ME FOOD IS GOOD It is the COPD My breathing is getting better I am using hubby's laptop & my fingers fat &I keep hitting the caps - believe me that I 'm not shouting. 2 FAVORS: * Someone volunteer to send this to those not on the Momsters membership * Keep those prayers and positive thoughts going up for me and also Christine and Michael and especially for my #1 Caregiver My Hubby
I love us Jo
When I click on the "TO:" line of her email to see who it was sent to, I just see eaglet_momsters@yahoogroups.com so I have no idea who the exact recipients of her email were. She did include Meggan, Judie, Wanda, Margy, Helen, and Ceil as a CC. So, I'm posting the email here on the blog.
She sounds in good spirits and the breathing treatments they will most likely be giving her every 4 hours will certainly help her to get better much quicker!!
Continued prayers surrounding the whole Lennox Family as Jo, Michael, and Christine work on their healing and as Rebecca adjusts to life outside her Mommy's tummy!! May God touch and bless you all!
I made it home! I had to wait until noon to leave since my windshield wiper washer stuff had frozen and had to deal with that! The drive was nice and the roads were all clear.
SHIRLEY and SANDI congrats to the female family members and their new jobs. Wish I had me a new one. I hated leaving my folks. It was so hard.
Prayers for JO and family, Dana's Dad, Thelma's BIL, Glo's MIL, SANDI's Mom, Ann-Marie, and Baby Isaac! Hope I didn't miss anyone.
I have had an awesome day an dyet in my heart sat a special lady in a hospital far away form me distance wise but oh so close in all the ways that count. My camera has not been turned on. My tea is steeping and I had to find any late news on MeMa Jo. .Thank You Sandi. for posting the info on here. I didn't see whether Lori has checked in safe at home yet. Will check in later today or tomorrow since we have a weather watch for ice :-( it will be a good day for photos and computers lO> I need tea. Hungry (no time for lunch) and thirsty...lets just say out where I was most of today is a little bit not good for having drank much. Yes if you are desperate secluded places can work but not so well when there is ice around and a good wind chill. OS I am dehydrated too. I love Eagle Season.
Checking in and thanking youse guys for all the Happy Birthday wishes ! You are the greatest. My post of yesterday mysteriously disappeared---at least I can't find it. Oh, well.
So pleased with JO's latest and very encouraging message ! Prayers are fervent and continuous !
So, too for all Momsters, Dadsters, Kidsters and Petsters in need.
Prayer has been answered for T-Bird's dear BIL, Jerry ! Thank you, God ! Still praying.....
LORI, so pleased you're safely home. Winter travel is so iffy ! I know it was hard leaving your dear parents and I know it does them good for you to be there. Hope you can return soon.
LINDA, those are hilarious birthday cards you've described ! Glad you had a happy day, too !
In from working in the yard. We can see the end near..in other words we are more than half done. lol Still have all of the south side of the house to do. It is all garden, no lawn, so lots of raking to do. Think I will cut down all of our trees!! NOT!!
Linda, loved the cards you received. lol
Sandi, thanks for sharing about the housekeeping. Yes, some wise thoughts.
Just talked with Michael. Ashley has been sick all week with the flu. Zach has been staying with his other grandmother and Michael has been staying at a hotel, trying to avoid the flu. Laurel about died when I told her Michael stayed at a hotel. She said he should have sucked it up and stayed home. Too funny!
Shirley, I liked Linda's comment that you could not smack your student. I completely understand that he was probably a very good student. They are the one who know they can say things like that. One time Michael and his friends did something ridiculous at lunch time at school. His comment..."We are good kids, we can do things like that." So true!
Interesting thoughts about neat and messy people, Sandi. I am thinking that your future grandchildren will grow up well founded in all things that matter.
Okay, I fed the dogs early and, as a result, am being pestered by a meowing cat. Lucky is hard of hearing, but he somehow knows when the dogs are getting fed. Maybe he smells the dog food.
Happy for your awesome day, Glo. Love to hear about your photo trips.
So true about the good kids, Lolly. They know when to put the brakes on. This particular boy is the only student I have ever had who commented favorably upon my choice of pencil brands. He like my Ticonderoga pencils and showed me his supply. He took pride in his abilities as a writer and they were his preferred tools.
GEESE FLY OVER OUR HOUSE EVERY NIGHT...HEADED TO A POND DOWN THE ROAD.******** FRANKIE LAINE*****
Tonight I heard the wild goose cry, Wingin' north in the lonely sky. Tried to sleep, it weren't no use, 'Cause I am a brother to the old wild goose,
(Oh, my heart knows what the wild goose knows,) (And I must go where the wild goose goes.) (Wild goose, brother goose, which is best?) (A wanderin' fool or a heart at rest?)
FROM OUR MEMA JO: *********************** Good afternoon THEY WILL PROBABLY KEEP THEIR EYES ON ME UNTIL MONDAY THAT IS OK BY ME FOOD IS GOOD It is the COPD My breathing is getting better I am using hubby's laptop & my fingers fat &I keep hitting the caps - believe me that I 'm not shouting. 2 FAVORS: * Someone volunteer to send this to those not on the Momsters membership * Keep those prayers and positive thoughts going up for me and also Christine and Michael and especially for my #1 Caregiver My Hubby
You know you have done something right when your HUBBY is your #1 caregiver, It takes a very special man to be a care giver to a MOMSTER AND give reports to her/his friends. If he doesn't get it right, he is in BIG TROUBLE:)
No Full Wolf Moon here tonight in Martinsburg. Waaaaaaaah! Skies are overcast 70 sounds nice, JudyE it's about 28 or so here. Glad that Lori is at her Home Roost, getting smothered with affection by the furbabies no doubt xo
How about that Jo! Keeping us in the loop. I think she is in the right place at the right time for the right treatment... And Wow, "The food is good." Thanks Sandi, for bringing her message to "the masses" here (( Healing Hugs, Jo ))
I like he goose prose, Wanda... each night about 100 geese in three or four flocks return to the quarry not far from here, wow are they noisy ! But I love it
I haven't had the flu since 1975. Unfortunately it hit while I was at an interview for an elementary school opening.... wonder how different life would have been had I gotten that teaching job, which at the time I really wanted
Observed a man at the hospital tonight, after visiting a sick friend... poor soul, he was elderly, and could NOT open his little piece of hard candy, due to arthritis. I was not much better at it, but we succeeded ! Stuff like that just makes my day!
And now the magpie-eing ends.... time for shower and shampoo, and hoping I do not get snagged for an extra shift on my days off. Beautiful, someone else volunteered to work an extra four hours that Jewels might have had to work otherwise. Good Man, our Supervisor took the shift ☺ ♥
JudyE My brother and his wife in Naples, talked of the 65-degree morning air temps but the 84-degree water temps in the Gulf, where they swim every morning ☺
The sandperson reports that Mema Jo is still in need of "special" attention and extra care. So, sandperson says everyone else is on their own for sleep needs. Sandperson will be with Mema Jo until she is safely home and out of harm's way but wishes all the momsters and dadsters restful sleep.
whew. good evening all. the day started out sad...but has ended better.
first and foremost, so glad our JO is in good hands and doing okay.
when i got on the computer this morning, tom had emailed a link to the nashville humane society, which is right up the street and it lead to a pix of this beautiful blue heeler (Australian cattle dog) .... i went in and woke him up and asked if we were going to see her.
i send an application in before i headed out to do my massages.
went to the humane society this afternoon and fell in love...again. she is so sweet and easy tempered. she is fitting in nicely. When Tom and I were discussing names, he wanted Jean Louise....and I said uhhh how about Scout, from TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD...and he said, that's who Jean Louise is....great minds....so her Olivia, her name is Scout. THey think she is about a year old.
Beano is Mr. Grumblebritches as we knew he would be. He will adjust. Sable is fine. The cats are a little freaked out, but they too will adjust. She is lying there chewing on her new toy. Yes, we hit up Pet Smart (who, if you show them adoption papers from the Humane Society give you $250 in coupons!!! score!!!!)....and now we are all home and settled.
It feels good to have a heeler back in the house. :) :) :)
Michael (our son) saw her and broke into tears...he is such a tenderheart. Said he's not over Luke yet. I said honey, we still love LukeyDuke....but Luke is gone. She had been a stray...they found her, she needs a home and she's a sweet baby. He will come around.
I hope you all are having a god evening. I am tired. Its been a long and very busy day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope he does get around about the dog JANET. Sweet child.
Yes Sandperson had better make sure MEMA JO is resting in the hospital. Good plan JUDIE.
Worked on some meditation techniques that I had not used before and yet I am not sure I will incorporate them into my practice.
I see WANDA and SANDI brought over JO'S email.
LOLLY I am afraid I would have been like LAUREL and said MICHAEL should have stayed home!!! Glad Zach was not in the way of the virus...
I often wonder what role Karma has to play in the men we choose as partners...Interseting post about Brian and his wife SANDI and then there is LAUREL and JOEY...I think Karma does play a role and just to clear it up: Karma is never punitive...People just have to finish their sotries form other life times and we get given as many opportunities as we need to clean it up... Just my thoughts...
Good Evening Eaglebuds! Good to see Lori safely home! Missed you on the radio.
Love Jo's message. Even if you don't feel super, just resting, being served food, etc. is pretty relaxing. Get well soon!
Sorry, haven't worked on any pics, yet~~~~hopefully tomorrow. Had some salad and a roll and just about dozed off in front of TV without eating the rest of dinner!
Prayers for Jo, All on our List and Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Glad Jo is getting some special attention this weekend, even if it has to be at the hospital. Glad she has her Ed Angel! JO if you are peeing in, LOVE AND PRAYERS and get well soon!
Glad Lori is home now!
Good news on Thelma's BIL!
Somehow I missed Kathryn has gotten a new job....congrats! And Shirley, how is Will's burn?
LOL Sandi.....OMG you could be describing my friends here! Minus the pig in the living room! Makes me nuts! I am semi neat freak. Well, more than semi sometimes. Steve is, too.
Margy, very sweet of you to help the many with the candy wrapper! I know what you mean....at the VA the other day, in the waiting area, I noticed a man walk back and forth from the vending machine, and then he kept looking in the bottom. I went over to see if I could help. His bag of munchies was stuck! It took some doing, but I got it out for him! It's the little things....
Woke up this AM, 55 degrees down here. Much too cold. Holding at 63 now with both space heaters running. I am too paranoid to leave them on while we sleep. Now I have a cough. GRRRRR.
OH...I forgot to say that along with my beautiful moonlight and snow diamond sparkling walk last night....2 GHO talking to each other! This is the second time I've heard them!
Jack would never leave when I am sick. No kisses, but he does not leave. Michael has not had a flu shot and he is probably working on a serious case...usually is. Also, I do know that Ashley is not fun to be around when she is sick. Not a good patient. But, I can not believe he went to a hotel! They have two fully furnished guest bedrooms. Oh, well, not my life....
So very happy the sandperson is keeping an eye on Jo and making sure she is getting lots of rest and proper attention.
I am impressed with Jo getting messages to us. Many of us have managed to do so when down and out. I am not so sure how Jack would do in that department. I am sure he would get on if I asked, but voluntarily, not so sure. I remember Darth was great at reporting on Judie.
LOL Lynne, I do hope Jo is not "peeing" in! We will let her peek in though!
I am ready to head to bed. Jack says it is too early, so he sits in his chair, turns out the light, puts on his headphones, and rocks back. Why not go to bed?
I sincerely do hope that Michael is checking on Ashley. I can remember that the last time I had the flu, I just wanted to lie in my bed and do nothing else.
Had to appreciate Jo's comment about the hospital food being good. Sometimes it is just nice to have someone bring prepared food to you. I have enjoyed hospital food for that very reason.
Lynne, I do hope you find a place soon. I remember teaching in a classroom that was about 55 degrees. I was cold all the way to my bones, even with my wool slacks and a sweater on. I had a space heater, but it was not sufficient to warm a classroom.
I agree with Lolly that I hope Jo doesn't come "peeing in" on the blog!
I also agree with Shirley that there have been times in my life that a stay in the hospital with someone waiting on my for a change has sounded like a pretty good idea!
Lynne, I feel so badly for you and Steve living in those conditions. I sure hope you find a new place to live soon. Wish we lived closer to your work - we have 4 empty bedrooms and keep the heat set at 70 at all times!!
Margy, skies were clear here last night - watched that full moon rise over the canal and reflect on the ice covering it. BEAUTIFUL!!
Lori, welcome home!
Janet, congrats on the new 4-legged family member!
School work on my agenda today.
Nest is MT at 6:49am. Prayers for all, most especially for our Jo!!
Nice to read back....on last night's comments, and to share this Eagle time with friends.... See you Saw the Moon last night, Sandi....a nice one it is !
On the day... Best Wishes to Every one, for a Super Sunday xoxo Prayers for Wellness.... Mega-Prayers that is
Disappointed that they are gone already. I minimized the screen to work on lessons and when I went back they were gone. Oh well.Much school work to do today to get ready for the big week. blah...Is it Friday yet?
its a cloudy morning here, expecting rain later on.
its actually been a good morning....i am thinking someone once loved this dog very much...WHY they didn't go to the shelter to find her is always going to be a question.
as with any heeler, she is very smart and catches on quickly. while we were in pet smart she kept trying to pick out toys for herself, amusing. but last night, i watched her put her own head and neck into the collar (light choker collar)....when it was time to go out. she seems to know things....seems to be house broken, wasn't upset by the kennel at bed time....she is quite the lady! very pleased with her at this point.
thank you all for all the congrats....
HODA i think Michael will come around...he loved Luke very very much. And he is the one who found Luke's body once he had passed. I wish I could take that pain away from him....but I cannot. Only time will heal this wound. And I think he will be fine, like I told Livvy and as you know, we all take our time in grieving.....
Got lots to do today....didn't get a bit of housework done yesterday.....and decided all 3 dogs need a bath....we smell a bit funky around here right now. and bowling tonight.
Hope everyone has a good day....busy one ahead. Hugs to all!!!!! :)
I missed the Royal Couple, too. You snooze, you lose:) Did get to see them yesterday.
Weather is not going to be Nest Friendly tonight (or road), sleet, rain, snow, off and on after midnight and until morning...glad we don't have any eggs!
Good Sunday morning to all my FB family and friends. My COPD got the best of me so Fri I came to hospital & 4-5 day stay is the norm. I M RECEIVING THE BEST OF CARE - thanks to the hospital staff and my Hubby & family. On laptop and I have missed all of you so much. You prayers & positive thoughts are working miracles again for my family and friends. God Bless You All & Keep You In His care. Good is good all the time
Heading over to Larry's shop today. He is making lighthouses for both of us for outside at the beach houses. I am going to work on painting mine today. It will stand about 5 ft tall, with a solar light on top.
Wanda--maybe the blog thinks that you do not post any garbage. That's why you get no garbage can.
I see I missed an eagle event this morning. Good that others saw it, though.
Bowling--I missed it on Tuesday because that's when I was dealing with Will's burn. Not sure how the team did. We were in 2nd place and were bowling against the 1st place team.
hmmm tried to post a link CRS strikes again. One more time maybe :-) Fulton IL Lock and Dam 13 Part of yesterdays adventures. If you like eagles you might like this 30 sec video.
So happy to see that Jo is feeling up to hopping onto FB and the blog!!
Haven't started on that IEP yet (can you say, "Stalling???") We DID get the canvas prints from our Africa trip hanging on the wall. Photos of the photos =) are on FB and also on my blog for non-FB folks.
Time for lunch and then I MUST buckle down and get some school work done!
Friends of Blackwater NWR We have three eggs on the Blackwater NWR Eagle Cam! We just got power to the cam and made the discovery. For those wondering about the delay in getting online this year, please read the note we've posted on the cam page: http://www.friendsofblackwater.org/camhtm2.html
Congrats to Blackwater - 3 eggs!!
Just saw the cam shake - Shep must be in the tree.
Belle is still just standing and looking around. If Shep shows up with a fish for dinner, I might just start thinking "it's time, " even though it's earlier than usual. Need to check the momster yahoo page to see the earliest that eggs have been laid. BRB!
Earliest egg listed on momster yahoo page was in 2009 - first egg was laid on 1/31. Blackwater eagles lay their eggs earlier than Belle but they have 3 already and Lisa isn't sure when they were laid b/c the cam wasn't up and running.
Weatherwise, I sure hope Belle isn't planning to lay an egg this evening - the weather forecast at the nest is really ugly for the next 24 hours!

WOW....
Now that my morning reading is done, I think I will figure out what is next......
Wishing everyone a great day!! Stay Warm!!
Good morning! Heading out to a brunch! Prayers for our Mema Jo!
See you all later!
Watching Ft Myers eaglets...Dad just brought in a road kill rabbit.
Home from some great, fun tennis - what a workout!!
Looks like our eagles still haven't made an appearance today. Guess they're perched in a tree somewhere conserving their energy?
Sun is out but the temps are still only in the 20s with gusty winds.
I've got laundry to do, the upstairs to clean, and an IEP to start.
BBL.
Good afternoon,
Just got on here and learned that our Jo is in the hospital.
So, what is Hunter having for lunch today??
Snow is melting nicely in the nest :)
Glad your DIL found a job, Sandi!
Hi Sandi!
Glad that your DIL gets to ride the train. That's a plus. Commuting is tough.
Looking at the empty nest. Yes, the snow is disappearing there.
Home from a fun time! Our "0" birthday celebrations are hilarious. No nice cards allowed! Must make fun of aging! We laugh til the tears flow. Great to have such loving friends to grow older with!!
My card for Janie said on the cover "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"
on the inside..."Tell me...how was it back then?"
Anyway, a fun morning.
See that more flugg has been brought to the nest, but no one saw them?
Safe travels LORI. May there be a road and that it be clear for you...
We have not heard from JO yet which means she is still in the hospital. I can not wait for Jennifer to get off work.Prayers.
Thelma glad to hear the news on Jerry.
I love goat cheese and kale and artichoke pizza JANET. Your Italian Restaurant post sounded delicious.
Had a terrific Aqua Fit class in the morning and am now on my way to meditation.
Stay safe and well. Talk to you all in the evening.
LOLLY - My youngest brother always finds the funny cards to get his digs in!!
When I turned 30, he sent me a card that said:
Front: Another year older
Inside: Another year closer to looking like your mother!
This year I got one that was a cute little puppy standing up with his front paws on the back of a kitchen chair. The front said: You say you're HOW old? And the inside said: No wonder we can't teache you any new tricks!!
teach, that would be....
Trying to clean up and organize my office for tax season..... Ugh!
Age jokes---
Back when I was still teaching, I explained to my students some of the differences between their writing machines and the ones I had in school--typewriter vs computer, etc.
The question from one of my funny guys:
"Was there really a written language then?"
LOL Shirley!! And you couldn't smack him either!!! Haha
He was one of the more enjoyable kids I've taught. Really. I had to laugh at his joke.
I often laughed at his jokes.
And appreciated his writing. He is quite talented.

OK, back to dusting upstairs! Later!
Got an email from Jo about 30 minutes ago. here it is:
Good afternoon
THEY WILL PROBABLY KEEP THEIR EYES ON ME UNTIL MONDAY THAT IS OK BY ME FOOD IS GOOD
It is the COPD My breathing is getting better
I am using hubby's laptop & my fingers fat &I keep hitting the caps - believe me that I 'm not shouting.
2 FAVORS:
* Someone volunteer to send this to those not on the Momsters membership
* Keep those prayers and positive thoughts going up for me and also Christine and Michael and especially for my #1 Caregiver My Hubby
I love us Jo
When I click on the "TO:" line of her email to see who it was sent to, I just see
eaglet_momsters@yahoogroups.com so I have no idea who the exact recipients of her email were. She did include Meggan, Judie, Wanda, Margy, Helen, and Ceil as a CC. So, I'm posting the email here on the blog.
That is good news for JO!
SANDI, glad you had a good time with tennis!
LORETTA - 6 EAGLES! You lucky duck!
Love to all.....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In from working in the yard.
Loweeeeeeeda....6 eagles!! Awesome!
Lori, glad you are home safe and sound.
Glad you are safely home, Lori.
Home from work and what a nice day the weather is today 70 now
Thanks for the update of our Ms JO SANDI
that was funny Shirley what one of your students said A classic
and your brother card that was cute too LINDA
JANET congratulations of the newest furbee I saw pic on facebook Give us details
I had to check to see if the cam was still working I couldn't hear any sound Just quite at the nest no winds
Funny cards, Linda.
. . . He liked my Ticonderoga pencils

Tonight I heard the wild goose cry,
Wingin' north in the lonely sky.
Tried to sleep, it weren't no use,
'Cause I am a brother to the old wild goose,
(Oh, my heart knows what the wild goose knows,)
(And I must go where the wild goose goes.)
(Wild goose, brother goose, which is best?)
(A wanderin' fool or a heart at rest?)
Just in case JO pops in I put this card on her facebook wall too
Feel better Jo We love you
Very good, Wanda! Very good!
Really pretty, Judy!!

You know you have done something right when your HUBBY is your #1 caregiver, It takes a very special man to be a care giver to a MOMSTER AND give reports to her/his friends. If he doesn't get it right, he is in BIG TROUBLE:)
Very nice card, Judy.

How about that Jo!
Keeping us in the loop.
I think she is in the right place at the right time for the right treatment...
And Wow, "The food is good."
Thanks Sandi, for bringing her
message to "the masses" here

I like he goose prose, Wanda...
each night about 100 geese in three or four flocks return to the quarry not far from here,
wow are they noisy !
But I love it
I was sorry I did not have the website at work for
The Fort Myers Eagles and their
big chow down earlier, as Paula
mentioned
oh Lolly,
sorry Ashley is sick...guess she is suffering through it alone.
:(
I haven't had the flu since 1975.
Unfortunately it hit while I was at an interview for an elementary school opening....
wonder how different life would have been had I gotten that
teaching job, which at the time I really wanted
Needless to say, I was not
Spot On for that interview...wondering if I made anyone else sick at the time.
Sure hope not !
Observed a man at the hospital tonight, after visiting a sick friend...
poor soul, he was elderly, and could NOT open his little piece of hard candy, due to arthritis.
I was not much better at it, but we succeeded !
Stuff like that just makes my day!
looks like light flurries I see one or two flakes every once in a while and I hear geese too
And now the magpie-eing ends....
time for shower and shampoo,
and hoping I do not get snagged for an extra shift on my days off.
Beautiful, someone else volunteered to work an extra four hours that Jewels might have had to work otherwise.
Good Man, our Supervisor took the shift ☺ ♥

My brother and his wife in Naples, talked of the 65-degree morning air temps

ISS making a super-bright flyover in the morning

hope the skies are clear for THAT.
The sandperson reports that Mema Jo is still in need of "special" attention and extra care. So, sandperson says everyone else is on their own for sleep needs. Sandperson will be with Mema Jo until she is safely home and out of harm's way but wishes all the momsters and dadsters restful sleep.
Always happy to share the sandperson with Mema Jo. And we all know that it can take extra help to get sleep in the hospital.
Right Seriously On, Judie...
Good that you are attending to this detail !
whew. good evening all. the day started out sad...but has ended better.
first and foremost, so glad our JO is in good hands and doing okay.
when i got on the computer this morning, tom had emailed a link to the nashville humane society, which is right up the street and it lead to a pix of this beautiful blue heeler (Australian cattle dog) .... i went in and woke him up and asked if we were going to see her.
i send an application in before i headed out to do my massages.
went to the humane society this afternoon and fell in love...again.
she is so sweet and easy tempered. she is fitting in nicely.
Ooops forgot THANKS JUDYE!!! :)
Time me to say Good Night,

Good Evening Eaglebuds!
Good to see Lori safely home! Missed you on the radio.
Love Jo's message. Even if you don't feel super, just resting, being served food, etc. is pretty relaxing. Get well soon!
Sorry, haven't worked on any pics, yet~~~~hopefully tomorrow. Had some salad and a roll and just about dozed off in front of TV without eating the rest of dinner!

Hi all, just checking in.
Goodnight.
PRAYERS♥
Going to get under the covers. Will be going to visit Steve's sister and her hubby in the AM. They don't live too far from here.
Good night and prayers for all!
I am impressed with
Jo getting messages to us.
Night all! SED!!!
LOL! So much for "in sickness and in health"!!
Oh, I'm back....
OH, congrats Janet on the new addition to the famil!
Really going to be now....
Oh, Janet, I love the name from To Kill a Mockingbird for your new fur child.
An appropriate bird-friendly book. As Atticus said, "It's a sin to kill a Mockingbird."
One of my favorite books.
Will's burn is slowly healing, Lynne.
Video of Lily and you get a glimpse of a cub face
Thanks for the video, Lolly. I enjoyed it.
I have to quit for tonight. See you tomorrow.
I'm done for the night, also.
Good night dear ones, sending love and prayers to all♥
I saw GARBAGE CANS at the end of my COMMENTS, earlier, but now they are gone. What's up with that...anyone know?
Good Sunday morning my eagle friends!!

I got a quick video of the hp on the blog and put on fb too
HP HP HP
Disappointed that they are gone already.
I minimized the screen to work on lessons and when I went back they were gone.
Oh well.Much school work to do today to get ready for the big week. blah...Is it Friday yet?
Good morning my friends.
I miss the the particularly serene spiritual connection with Lynn while rooting for the Skins. She is always in my heart but Sundays were special.
Thanks for the video JUDYE.
Oh my goodness. The sunrise at the nest is beautiful.
Well, maybe not the sunrise,(too late for that) but the reflection of the bright sun. (Silly me)
EAGLE! SHEP!
Yay, I get to see our eagles.
There you go, gone.
Sunday morning ya'll....and good morning.
its a cloudy morning here, expecting rain later on.
its actually been a good morning....i am thinking someone once loved this dog very much...WHY they didn't go to the shelter to find her is always going to be a question.
as with any heeler, she is very smart and catches on quickly. while we were in pet smart she kept trying to pick out toys for herself, amusing. but last night, i watched her put her own head and neck into the collar (light choker collar)....when it was time to go out. she seems to know things....seems to be house broken, wasn't upset by the kennel at bed time....she is quite the lady! very pleased with her at this point.
thank you all for all the congrats....
Good Morning Eagle Friends!
Can't believe I slept until now and have missed seeing the eagles AGAIN! Dang!
I hope LYNNE2 slept well and warm in her basement bed...and that JO got lots of healing rest in her hospital bed.
JANET Congrats on the new dog. She sounds beautiful in every way!
SANDI, MARGY and JUDYE, thanks for the reports of HP this morning.
Prayers for everyone who is not feeling well, especially our JO!
Good morning everyone. Ice storm warnings in my area. Good day to download and process yesterdays photos and videos. Prayers for all.
GOOD MORNING...
I missed the Royal Couple, too. You snooze, you lose:) Did get to see them yesterday.
Weather is not going to be Nest Friendly tonight (or road), sleet, rain, snow, off and on after midnight and until morning...glad we don't have any eggs!
Having Family Sunday today...Happy Dance:)
Have a Blessed Sunday♥
Good Sunday morning to all my FB family and friends. My COPD got the best of me so Fri I came to hospital & 4-5 day stay is the
norm. I M RECEIVING THE BEST OF CARE - thanks to the hospital staff and my Hubby & family. On laptop and I have missed all of you so much. You prayers & positive thoughts are working miracles again for my family and friends. God Bless You All & Keep You In His care. Good is good all the time

Cams are both working today, but nobody's home!*#@%
Phoebe's chicks both look to be about ready to fledge. Take a peek.
I hope Mema Jo's better and back among us soon.
God bless you all.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
Good morning! Good to see you on here Jo! Glad you are on the mend!
Hi there, Jim! Good to see you, too!
Wanda, do not like your weather prediction! I was enjoying the sun on the nest!! We go up into the 70's today and then possible rain this week. Yea!
I have to leave now. Need to finish getting ready for church!
Jo, glad you are feeling better!
Heading over to Larry's shop today. He is making lighthouses for both of us for outside at the beach houses. I am going to work on painting mine today. It will stand about 5 ft tall, with a solar light on top.
YAY, Mema JO is on the mend, and on the blog today!!! Great news!
PAULA, the lighthouse sounds so cool! Have fun painting.
Good morning--
Wanda--maybe the blog thinks that you do not post any garbage. That's why you get no garbage can.
I see I missed an eagle event this morning. Good that others saw it, though.
Bowling--I missed it on Tuesday because that's when I was dealing with Will's burn. Not sure how the team did. We were in 2nd place and were bowling against the 1st place team.
Different from last season when we were always at or near the bottom of the list.
Well, just looked at the bowling records. My team dropped to 4th place. Dear me.
hmmm tried to post a link CRS strikes again. One more time maybe :-) Fulton IL Lock and Dam 13 Part of yesterdays adventures. If you like eagles you might like this 30 sec video.
Good afternoon all!
Later!
Stopped by to say that Phoebe's babes are about ready to launch but Jim beat me to the news flash. Hi Jim.
Very very happy to see Jo also stopped by today. Sandperson catching up on sleep preparing for another Mema Jo vigil tonight.
Just got home from church, refreshed the cam and heard a woodpecker.
Sandi, those prints are awesome. Looks like Natl. Geo pics!
Headed outside to work in the yard. Wish I could twitch my nose and the leaves would vanish! I'll give it a try! :)
Belle and Shep are both in the nest right now, arranging fluff and keeping an eye on things.
Eagerly awaiting the arrival of eggs!!
Many positive thoughts to all who need them today...
Thanks for the heads-up, Delphia! I had the cam page minimized!
Shep has poofed but Belle is just sitting.
Now rearranging the grass. Picking at leftovers of something.
Hey, just saw this on Facebook!
Friends of Blackwater NWR
We have three eggs on the Blackwater NWR Eagle Cam!
Belle is still in the nest - just enjoying the sunshine.
YAY! Bells in the nest. First time I've seen an eagle in a week! Big Smile!
Should have been Belle's in the nest...
Hey there Lori! She's been there for a little over an hour now! Comments under the cam say she was there at 3:25pm.
Hi SANDI! WOW, a loooong stay! Just so glad I'm seeing it!
Eagle in the nest and I have to go. I've been so busy I haven't watched but I saw Sandi's post about the eggs at Blackwater.
Belle is still just standing and looking around. If Shep shows up with a fish for dinner, I might just start thinking "it's time, " even though it's earlier than usual. Need to check the momster yahoo page to see the earliest that eggs have been laid. BRB!
Oh, I see that we are about to split.
And Belle is in the nest. The last rays of sunshine are shining on her.
HOME FROM WORK AND FIND TO EAGLE IN THE NEST
Cam just shook again. Yoohoo, where are you Shep??
