Thanks for the new thread, Steve, and for the call-over, Margy.
Hoping that Charlie's PT goes well.
As I said on the old thread, I got the trash bill taken care of. I had to get a password to get into my online account. We have had 4 companies in the past year or two. I really do not think I have been receiving any bills. I hope that gets straightened out, but Kathryn will check out some other companies she knows about.
Posting from my kindle no box to check. Maybe after I post this comment. Thanks Steve for the new thread and Margy for the call over. Still cloudy her but not much cooler yet. Looking like more rain. Family is packing to leave this afternoon. It's been fun but 20 days is a long time to have 3 extra adults 2 kids and an extra dog! I'll be happy to have a quiet empty house back.
Good morning! Still no cam and Shirley is still stuttering.
Lori, glad you are calling Kay. It has been too long since we have heard anything!
Lori, I also put up new pictures of the ponds for you to see on my Hawkwood blog.
Big chance of rain through this past weekend and today and tomorrow, but guess what....no rain on us!! Life is not fair....but guess we were never promised fair.
Good morning everyone. Prayers for successful PT and good outcome for Charlie's surgery. Glad to read Lori is calling Kay. I am concerned we haven"t heard from her or her daughter. It is really a very nice summer day here. We need rain badly and the crops are not in good shape which means problems at the grocery store. BUT the excessive stuff heat and humidity wise are gone atleast for a while. Dex and I are off for a stroll.
nO cams at this nest today, I see, but did you know Phoebe is raising another pair of youngsters. And if you look on their FaceBook page, there's a video of a standoff between her and a snake lizard. The guy who owns the camera has put netting around the area to hopefully keep crows away from the nest too.
I heard you T-Bird....thank you... and Good Morning and Afternoon wishes to everyone...
Jim, your weather now sounds more like our weather...cannot say what the temp is, but I can tell you it is not approaching the high 90's low 100's for a change
Staying pretty busy here with phone calls and emails....
But the hugs and words soothe the stress and anxiety but especially the sorrow....
Poor Bella the dog, eating lots of grass, and then, well, stuff comes back up she knows her family in Annapolis is packing up to move, house nearly empty, storm last week no power for them one night in a motel... so she is here while they finish up.... I think she'll be fine, but as we know, changes are tough on pets:(
I have not been able to try to make a call to Kay yet...out of touch with some of my phone and email contacts....will see whether Lori was able to, then maybe I can try another time...
thinking of Charlie and Carolyn and wondering how things are going....
Forgot my manners earlier -- thank you, Steve for the fresh thread. Hope you are now powered up and doing well.
Jim, thank you for the Phoebe update. Thought the cam was down until August.
Lolly, I work free for bloggers. Now we just have to wait for curly Shirley to pull that trigger.
PT was good. Had an exercise I did NOT enjoy. Therapist is a nice person. Prefer the hospital setting with one-on-one. This clinic the therapists have two clients at a time. Distracting.
Sure wish Kay would come through the door and Carolyn, hopefully, will check in as soon as she can.
Carolyn posted this about an hour ago, so guess he is not out of recovery yet......................................Recovery two hrs.... Back in one day surgery area....waiting for him to be released . I am so ready for sleep. Gotta work at midnight...
Not sure if anyone brought this over from Facebook on Saturday but just in case, this is what Hoda posted on my wall on Saturday:
Sharon Lea Crisco Farley, The internet is so slow and so am not able to get to the blog...the whole group is here now and it is amazing to e in the company of a one year old who is so cute and gets a lot of attention. We continue to go to the beach and eat lobster and fresh sea food. Went for more lobster and fish again. yesterday. I hope everyone has electricity restored. My nephew tells me some of Virginia and West Virginia still don't have power. He is here from DC. Are the Juvies still coming to the nest? Have you all been seeing Shep and Belle? I went to a wonderful pottery shope yesterday and they had some wonderful eagle designs. I will try to borrow David's computer again before I go home to Nelson. The time is passing really fast.HUGS I love US
Jack has been smoking meat all day out on the smoker. YUM! He is smelling up the countryside! For dinner...ribs, brats, and chicken. I am making a new recipe for potato salad, but doing some substitutions. Anyway, potato salad has blue cheese and bacon. Can't be too bad. LOL Recipe calls for white balsamic, I have regular and it calls for red potatoes...whoops...reg potatoes here!
gonna let Norton do its thinks LM while I watch the news Was so nice getting off at 5 today Wed is another 5 day tomorrow is 10-7 I now they are doing this to make peeps miserable One of our co mgr transferred to another store he got feed up with the stuff tooo I wish I could transfer but I can't
You gotta see this in UTAH a baby eagle in a nest they thought would be dead in the nest but when they went there it was alive Singed but alive Eaglet lives through fire in Utah
Tom Sweetie did bring over two pork chops, and I have corn on the cob at "The Other Place...."
had to come to The Roost to take care of some things, gaze upon my beautiful Nicotiana plants, see that the lisianthus is ready and rarin to pop out some lavender color blooms... and so on like that.
must get back to Bella now, don't want her to be alone any longer than necessary....
I have telephone ear and keyboard fingers plans are coming together for the Funeral on Wednesday....I will see most or maybe ALL of my brothers and sisters, and my late sister Libby's children and husband.... Requiem Mass, burial, and then a gathering at a restaurant nearby to there for .... some comforting time.
Prayers for Wellness, for complete recovery for Charlie... and I sure hope Carolyn gets a wowser of a power nap before worktime.
God Bless This Nest, and God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
HELLO and Good evening eagle buds just got done with the news and the Insider JUDIE did you know that there is a new APP for phones out WILD ABOUT TRIALS I thought of you when they mentioned it they were talking off course about Casey and Jose Baez book and the app was mentioned so I thought I would mention it on the blog
Thank you Shar for the Hoda update. I miss her being here.
Lolly, if I hurry I can just make it for the leftovers. Don't worry. I'll clean up after I finish.
Margy, stop a bit and take a deep breath. Was nice of Tom Sweetie to offer some dinner.
Paula, have a nice reunion with Mr. Studdly Muffin.
Thanks, Judy. So nice of you to think of me. Don't have a new fangled phone to download apps. I have to settle for t.v. trial coverage. The civil trial against Ms. Anthony should be interesting. Defense is that since the Zinaida person doesn't fit the description given by Ms. Anthony, there is no defamation of character. lol
OMG cruelty to animals is a red flag for future serial killers. Curly Shirley with Trigger Finger Syndrome will certainly need watching.
Well, I am tired and sore from PT. Been working on geneology this afternoon and now Darth has me looking up his family information. I see a new career opening up.
The night light is set for 11:30pm and the sandperson will be departing this abode to sprinkle dream dust in momster and dadster eyes. Restful sleep for all.
Storms north of us, storms west of us, storms east of us, and storms south of us. What are we doing wrong? I am a good person, I do not wash animals in dish washers. Why can I not have rain?
Oh, it actually did rain...for maybe two minutes.
I go to the eye doctor tomorrow. This is the three month check up after surgery. Glad I am going as I am having terrible allergy problems...itching, watering, bloodshot, goo. Hope I get drops that work!
Been working on my PICA album one had over 1000 pic all avatar got it down to 100 wow what a job ODD that some of the pic are dup over and over 4 times and some more+
Well I'm calling it a day
See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
this is a test I just found out when you change your avatar it post it 4 times in the album the first is usually larger and then three more I deleted the first and the third and fourth lets see if my eagle flies I think it will
YEP so I know just to leave the second up in all the groups of 4 and then your old avatars will stay I didn't want to get rid of the eagles nest pic I posted OK its time to unwind for bed See you good folks in the am
I have been in lurk mode today--doing a lot of transcription, too.
Haven't had time to read back on the blog right now, but hope that Charlie made it home OK after his recovery room time, and hope that Carolyn got a power nap before work.
Good to see a post from Hoda! Sounds like she's having a wonderful time! Sure do miss her, though.
Hope we hear about Kay really soon. Miss her, too, and concerned about her! Prayers!
Curly Shirley, I'm probably #2 on Judie's list. Remember my story about our cat that accidentally took a 10-minute spin in the clothes dryer a few years ago? Sure am glad she survived the trip! Hope there's nothing to worry about with your sore ribs. Prayers!
Shar, the wedding pictures are SO beautiful! Just priceless!!
Judie, hope you're not too sore tomorrow from PT. Are you still making progress? Sure hope so!
Margy, give Bella a tummy rub for me. Hope she stops eating grass and gives her belly a chance to recover! Wishing extra blessings for you and your family, with a giant helping of peace. (((HUGS)))!
Well, I need to get back to work on these doctor reports. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, all, with SED! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! ♥♥Thinking of Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn, Charlie & Christie♥♥ I ♥ us!
Hope Sleep is Sweeet....whenever it it is the time for it....hoping that Jewels got SOME and will get a whole lot MORE on daytime Tuesday, and that Charlie is comfortable and on the way to better health
Just need more hours in the day sometime...
Thanks for all the kind words and comfort, Precious Pals. Looks like "Now We Are Six" are going to be together for my sister's funeral... that is a joyful thought in the midst of sorrow
Oh PS Bella seems to be returning to her more normal self, running like a race horse, barking at the reflection of the TV in the sliding glass door.... I did let her have some food, and it seems it was ok to do that...
Hope that Judie's PT pain allows for a good night's sleep and she doesn't have to share the therapist next time [ probably some handsome dude ]
and yay on the good and boo on any bad from the day just ended...
MARGY, get thee to bed...you need to rest up because Wednesday will, most likely, be a long day for you. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you put to rest, yet another family member~
Had a good visit with GG, today. She was chatty and laughed a lot. She ate nothing yesterday, but today, ate mac & cheese and wheat toast with strawberry jam and a glass of milk. Don't know what's with her eating nothing one day and something the next??
Soup Kitchen tomorrow...should have been in bed a long time ago!
Good night dear friends, prayers and love for you all♥
Meant to tell JUDIE that my therapist at the PTCenter, also had 2 and sometimes 3 clients at the same time. Didn't like that either because I had 3 weeks of one on one when the therapist came to the house...spoiled me:)
Good Wee hrs morning! I am dragging here! but so glad we are having a semi ammusing night. Charlie finally got back to the out pt surgery area and I got to go back. He was in a lot of pain. THe saying the bigger the man, the bigger the baby. It is true. I finally said this is enough at 4pm. I called his mom and said, you have got to come and wait for him. I cannot go any longer with no sleep. So I left at 4:15 and got home about 5:15 after I stopped and got his medicine. Was in bed by 5:30 and slept till 10 pm. I did not hear him come tot he bedroom and his mom either. She helped him change his clothes and I never even knew they were in the room with me. He ws feeling ok when I woke up. moving around. Said he was sore, but way better then when I left him. Thankyou for all the prayers!!!
Oh, please forgive me. I will try calling KAY today. I totally forgot I had a doctor appt at 5 last night, then I met Kate for a dinner salad that isn't sitting too well, right now. I didn't want to call when I got home at 7:30 for fear of waking up Kay. But, today I will not fear waking her - just hope that if she's sleeping she has her answering machine on.
LOLLY, your ponds are gorgeous! Did you create them yourselves? A neighbor is having one put in right now and I'm soooo jealous!
Sorry about your drought situation, CA. We were lucky and had truly 3" of rain yesterday morning just after having that long heatwave. Wishing you lots of raindrops! :)
Carolyn, glad to hear that Charlie's surgery went well and he made it home! Hopefully he will feel a lot better now that his gallbladder is out!
Shirley, sorry to hear that your ribs are still hurting. I would think that even bruised ribs take a while to heal.
Judie, I have thought about doing the ancestry.com thing but I worry it would become addictive and I don't have that kind of time, except in the summer. So I'm thinking it may be a "retirement thing." Four more years!
All is quiet in the Roberts house again. Family left yesterday afternoon. Bandit's behavior really deteriorated over the past week and we thought his dementia was getting worse. But yesterday afternoon, once Daisy was gone, he was better. I think he was just stressed from having an extra dog on his turf for 3 weeks. Did talk to the vet and he is starting him on something called Novifit in addition to the Hills b/d dog food - it's supposed to improve cognitive function and alertness in older dogs.
I have 5 crested flycatcher babies in the box right outside my sunroom window. I had noticed that both parents were doing a lot of entering and exiting the box lately and yesterday, when a parent would land on the roof, I could clearly see (with my binoculars) 5 opened mouths inside the box. 5 babies will really keep those parents busy! Last year, they only had 2 to worry about.
Thinking of Kay and hoping today is a good day for her.
Also thinking of Hoda and the fun she is having on her trip.
And Margy, I'm thinking of you and your family and your heavy hearts.
Need to feed dogs and then look at Andrew's and Kelsey's wedding pics! Then an interclub tennis match at 9am. Have a great day all!
Slept well until my dream was interrupted by some sharp needle-like discomfort in my toes. Grace was hungry. Ugh! Should achy but seems a little better range of motion.
Shirley, I broke two ribs some years ago. Took several months, painful, but no taping. Dr. said taping doesn't help and contributes to pneumonia. An xray might be worth it.
The genealogy is addictive and time-consuming and Darth has not offered payment but then he pays all the bills so I can't complain. It is really fascinating and so easy with the massive amounts of information available online.
Its been raining off and on for several days now. I am so happy about this. We had more rain last night. While it does make it more humid, we so needed this.
Not too much going on. I had a massage last night with my favorite therapist, 2 hours on the table. I fell asleep, came home , crawled into my bed and slept til morning. That was delightful. The only bad part was driving home, lol. I put the top down on the car and that's how I stayed awake enough to drive!
Update on the kids: SUPPOSEDLY they will close in the morning. We shall see. Not holding my breath....but hopeful for them.
Chelsea made an unltrasound appt for Saturday. We will all be going so we can find out together if this new baby is a boy or a girl. So excited!
Tom's brother is coming by today, supposedly. They hadn't seen each other in over 20 years when we went to see him in Florida 2 weeks ago. Coincidentally, he was planning a trip to TN so we will be spending the afternoon/evening with him.
I am feeling quite lazy at the moment, but need to get busy, pack Olivia's lunch and get dressed and get her to camp. Coffee is such a nice thing, lol.
Wanda, so glad GG was hungry yesterday. Maybe the heat has been a factor. I much prefer one-on-one therapy so I don't have so much "rest" time between exercises. Therapist is not a hotty but a very nice middle-aged lady and the other is an exuberant young lady.
Sandi, have a good tennis day and enjoy your little fly catchers.
C/A rain barrels help cut the water bill. Oh, silly me. One would have to have some rain, yes?lol
Carolyn, so glad Charlie is home and that you we able to get some sleep. It was nice of his mother to help out and hope she will again when you're at work. Hugs to you!
G☼☼D M☼rning Eagle Buds SHARON you sound like me and the email I have about 2T in my deleted email guess I should take out the trash so to speak and guess what TRAIN is playing after the Rays Baseball game and only the price of a ball game ticket so you can get cheap seats and see them Wanna go LOL
Good to hear Charlie is home hope the pain subsides soon
Margy my thoughts will be with you tomorrow as always
JANET keeping fingers crossed for the kids, and so good you get to see your ole buds back east
DANA looks like she is having a good time on vaca on FB
WANDA so glad GG is doing better
JUDIE you sound like me no fancy phone I have a trac phone for ER with Jordyn had it when I traveled to see my parents when they were alive and just buy a yearly card to keep active WHAT station do you see all the trails on?????
SHARON i saw the pic and I view them at a full page at a time Very pretty
SHIRLEY happy to hear you are on the mend now you can get to prowling around SHHH we won't tell your secret
Thanks for posting the link!! I would not want to have to be the one to choose which ones to keep for an album. 1043 pictures!!! There are so many wonderful shots and the photographer captured so much emotion in those photographs.
I had never seen the mixing of sand before. Interesting!
Everything was so well thought out and planned, too. Amazing.
Well........I loved it all.............except the car :-(
Good morning! Well, it rained for all of maybe 3 minutes last night. Jack and I sat on the patio and enjoyed the coolness, but gee, why does the rain keep missing us.
Saw this on fb. AnneMarie in California made this comment to Mits.......
Anne-Marie LarsenHelen Kalis
10 hours ago near Sacramento, CA · ..
Im doing better. This parkensons really hit me for a loop. Im still not over being mad. Im dealing with it one day at a time. Sending hugs...
Now we know why we have not been hearing from Anne Marie.
Jack is out wiring our pecan trees. We are really hoping for a crop this year. He wires them to keep the squirrels out of the trees. A little "shock" discourages them from climbing the trees.
Shar - I will probably relive some of the memories in my mind throughout my day today!!
Just thinking of the dance Kelsey and her Dad did. What a riot!!
Andrew walking you down the isle.....
Mattie singing......... Emotiional toasts.......Beautiful dresses........darling children in the wedding........beautifully decorated.........beautiful setting and backdrop for the vows.......the Mr. and Mrs. T-shirts established 6/9/2012.........Kelsey's emotional dance with her Mom........and oh so much more!!
Lolly - Wiring the trees?? That sounds like a great idea. Wonder if we could wire the rail on our deck to keep the squirrels off our bird feeders.... Hmmmmm something to think about!!
Linda, Jack uses a pet charger to wire the trees. He has two cirles of wire around the trees. It discourages most squirrels and some can out smart it. LOL
We have 5 pecan trees way down front....away from the oak trees, so they can not get into the trees except for going up the trunks. He has wire going from tree to tree underground. He then runs an extension cord to just one tree. He has given up on the pecan tree in the back yard. Squirrels can get into it from other trees.
Oh, Dearest Margy - I am so sorry to hear of Libby's passing. 74 is too young, but with failing health, I know she is now free from all ailments. It is still so very difficult dealing with so many losses in such a short period of time.
Many ((((((( HUGS ))))))) go out to you and I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
I knew you were stressed and sad on Friday, but did not know why. May God Bless You, Margy, as you grieve yet again. xoxo
Linda, it is available at farm stores and possibly other places. It shocks but does not kill. It is what is used on electric fences to keep livestock in.
Good Morning Eagle Pals.... it IS still morning, right?
Thanks again, every day,for the warm and comforting thoughts, my friends
Linda...you picked up on it from Friday, I just couldn't say anything at the time, didn't mean to be mysterious or secretive...
I have known, and am trying to live this: That what God either sends our way or allows to come our way....He will help us get through it, and become stronger because of it...and there are things about it that might take me a very long time to assimilate...
It's not always easy to look at things this way, but I know in my heart that by discerning and listening....and trying to do.... Peace and Acceptance will come...
I have a great support system here, and with my other friendships and families....
Sharon: I am Jonesin' to look at those 1043 pictures of Joy, Love and Happiness.... but I have to tell you, it might be a few days before I can get to them
I am searching for Lynne2 here...and miss her be-bopping in with her happenins', as I am with others....missing them, but hoping that all is well.
Thank you Lolly for the post regarding Anne-Marie...darn it, though, her ailment... I hope she gets relief RIGHT now
And for the Charlie update from Jewels...yep, another few hours every day earmarked for SLEEP only would be Deluxe
Judie, sorry no hotty in the PT arena
And on that note, Best Wishes for a Good Day, a good Soup Kitchen for the Captain and First Mate, continued good news about GG, and that this will be a nice day for everyone...
must go, a few things to take care of, including time to take Bella out for a quick runaround
Did a little cleaning up of flowerbeds, replanted some grass runners...now my hair is wet from sweat and I have to get ready to go to the eye doctor. Lovely!
trying to do a little house-cleaning at The Big House...
Bella's folks will be back around for her tonight I think....three kids three adults (me one of them) and one dig.....kicks up a little dust and a few precious little handprints..which I'll leave in place...
Have not seen in on earthquake sites, but we just had another earthquake. The house creaked. Jack was at the computer and he felt it. Got on fb and they are talking about feeling and hearing it. That makes about 7 since the first of June. Yikes!
Getting here a tad bit later than I had planned. Had a surprise when I put some wash into the washer this morning. It filled with water, but instead of beginning its cycle, it made a LOUD noise, like a big buzzzz, and stopped working! Smelled like hot wiring, so I turned it off right away. Called Sears, and they are coming out between 1 and 5 to fix it. Of course, the extended service plan expired last year, and we didn't renew it. They offered to give us a year's extension for $215, so I took them up on it. (A service call and a free estimate is $75.) If they can't fix it, the money is applied to the cost of a new washer. We've had it for 8+ years now, with no other problems, so I guess that's not too bad a record. While the guy is here, he will do a yearly service on the clothes dryer for $39.99, so will have him do that, too. Gosh, seems there's always something, right? Beats having to buy a new washer, though, if this one's fixable. By the way, my Sis-in-law, and every other person I know that has a FRONT-loading washer, all say NOT to get a front-loader! They've had a bunch of problems with them. Apparently the top-loaders are more foolproof. Just an FYI.
Glad to hear that GG was in good spirits, and eating, too! I wonder if the heat causes her lack of appetite, too.
Happy to hear that Charlie is home, without his gallbladder, and feeling better! Now we're getting somewhere! Good to hear that Carolyn FINALLY got a few hours of sleep, too! Hope you are able to get caught up in that department!
Margy, still thinking about you, as always, and will be tomorrow, too. (((HUGE, TIMED-RELEASE HUGS)))
Lolly, your ponds and streams are beautiful! I've always wanted a pond, but wouldn't do with the current heron population! Yikes! Maybe someday.
Well, gotta get busy and do some work. Will check back in later, eagle pals. Hope you all have a wonderful day! I ♥ us!
Good afternoon eagleless buds. Miss those guys...I thought there was an earthquake or something a while ago after I got home from some errands. It turned out to be a malfunction of the garage door. Roller off track and who knows what. My truck is in the garage, so I guess I am trapped until the repair people came--later in the week is all they could promise. When one lives in a small town you are at the mercy of repair people. Good thing I have a clear schedule. Of course now I can think of hundreds reasons why I need to go somewhere. Hope everyone is behavin'
Almost forgot to answer JudyE's question--no, we have not had any further trouble with bees! We still see some on our flowers, but they are not trying to colonize our attic! I DID have to spray a black widow spider living in the latch mechanism on our sprinkler timer, though. Scary! Got it good, and it's dead as a doornail now.
Margy, the $215 will cover today's repair visit--YAY!
Lynne1, I hope the garage door is an easy, inexpensive fix, too!
Oh--I've changed my avatar again. This is "Fuzzy," the most comical of the heron babies. All of them are doing fine, and gradually going off to fish at the ocean with their parents. Fewer of them are returning now. Only 2 or 3 here today. Well, gotta get busy. Will BBL...
Good Afternoon everyone. Busy here once again but a good busy and not so hot i can't deal with it :-). Looks like I have some wedding photos to go see. Did Andrew ever salvage the wet ones? I am saddened to read about Anne Marie. I too wondered why we didn't hear from her. Good news about GG and charlie. And then Lolly is rockin and a rollin. I don't think I would much like that. Off to see some wedding pictures, then have some photography work of my own to do.
Hello, hello! It's not 100° today, but humid. Oh well, can't complain! The Photo Fairy came last night and put some pictures in the Nook. I have some more of a "Mystery Bird" to put on later. Only seen it twice at home. Don't think I can put anything on here w/out Google. Gotta eat lunch anyway since the phone hasn't rung for 2 minutes!!! HAGD ☺
Well, I just heard the sweetest voice in the world! Hoda called me! She said big hugs to everybody. She flies back to Spokane tonight and then to Canada tomorrow. She will be checking in with us by the evening tomorrow. I LOVE HER!!!! I need her to move to West Virginia.
Margy, Paula might "loan" you a studly muffin but loan is the operative word. lol Well, okay, maybe Tom Sweetie?
Lolly, sorry about your pecan stealing squirrels and shaking earth. Spoke with a friend in Houston earlier and she says it's hot with a piddly bit of rain each day but not enough. Hope the eye appointment was good.
Andy, so cute about the baby herons but not so cute about the Black Widow. Scary the spider is. I also know a secret place where deceased washers go to never be found.
Lynne1, sounds like a lot of not cooking and carry in food since you can't get to the grossery. As Jo says, put your feet up. Ask about replacing the roller things. If they snap it can be really dangerous.
How fantastic, Sharon, to talk wit h Hoda. She may or may not be ready to get back home but I know we are ready to have her back!
Maybe we can have a virtual Welcome Home party! LOL
Home from my eye appointment. I am dilated and can not see squat! He has told me to try a new drop for eye allergies. Jack is picking it up for me. My eyes are just fine...(exept for allergies) and go back in 6 months.
Good afternoon eagle pals. I'm sorry I don't post more often but I'm a man of few words. I'm doing fine now with two new hips. No more pain and have finally threw away the cane.
Glad Charlie's gall bladder is no longer a problem. Had mine removed a few years ago. I remember when gall bladder surgery was major surgery with several days in the hospital. Now its a piece of cake.
I miss my old place in the country. We had lots of wildlife there to entertain us. But the stress is less here in the new place and much closer for Diane to drive to work.
I do lurk around here and keep up with most of the news.
Thanks for the encouragement folks. I just took a good look at the garage door situation and the spring is broken and maybe a cable? This may be the original garage door. Mom lived here for 35 years and I don't think she ever replaced it. More will be revealed. I just returned from the grossery--so at least I have food for the dog and cat. For a week anyway. I was going to go to the bigger city later in the week to stock up on cat food. My sweet (?) William will remain at home with the neighbors looking out for him while I am in Alaska. He would not do well being caged for two weeks. Daisy will stay with the vet.
I just got off the phone with Kay and she said she finally got home on Thursday. Her doctors think she is doing wonderful and healing very well. She is still experiencing a great deal of pain but that's expected to decrease 2 months after surgery, and it's just been 1 month.
KAY sends her love and says she's doing a little better everyday, but she still feels exhausted; however, Julie and Seth note little ways that she is doing better everyday! Today was the first day she read the newspaper again! THAT is our Kay!
Wonderful, Lori.... Thank you so much for making this call to our ☼HI☼ Sunshine Kay
Thanks also Sharon for the update on Hoda...wow, it seems to have gone by soooooo fast, her vacation
RED Sounds good, ya' know, and please believe it, I WAS GOING to ask if anyone had any news on RED. So here you are, Keep on feeling better and being perky.....
I dined at a fine restaurant just a little while ago:
Wanda and Gene's Soup Kitchen.... I was trying to get there early before suppertime to take by some clothes, but I am the world's slowest housecleaner and just couldn't finish fast enough...
so I walk in, deliver the items for Soup Kitchen....and simply just came right and asked if I could have something to eat....
Hot Dog and Bun, Sauerkraut and Pork, Scalloped Potatoes, Bread Pudding, Applesauce and Ice Tea....the room was full.
I really, mostly, needed the fellowship...but I knew I was in a my heart was in a tough spot and that was the place to be...
God Bless You, Wanda and Gene and all your Church Folks....
Hi All... Judy, your Flying Eagle is way too cool! You have become a computer whiz!:)
It was so good to have Margy with us for a while, this evening. I felt a need to give her a hug in person and that did settle my soul. It was all I could do to let her know how I felt about her sorrow~ She even helped us a bit...took one of our clients home with his heavy load of free food. Gene told him to not harass his 'Girl Friend'..."Oh, no sir, I wouldn't do that!" Sometimes he tells a client that the person helping him is his Daughter and 'hands off':) Clients have been told that Father, Capt. Gene is the churches bouncer:)
Did you know that on the bottom of your Pica album shows how much memory you have left this is what I have after I deleted almost 900 pic last nite all were on the Blogger album our avatars I still don't know why they post 4 times when you put one pic on as your avatar and I proved you can't delete them otherwise your avatar is black like mime above the flying eagle

my computer wants to do some updates so I am sure it will kick me off I forget the time that I have it set for I think 10 I am watch Jaycee Dugard story pretty good
Oh, came home from work and saw a little cat hiding under Steve's car...interesting markings. But the neighbor's dog soon arrived on the scene and it took off across the yard. Steve had seen it earlier when he got home. I really don't want another cat, but if it hangs around, I'll do what I can....UGH!
Good Evening Eagle Pals. Read some comments and thanks for sharing messages from Kay and Hoda. Margy~~~prayers for you and family. I put the "Mystery Bird" pics in the Nook. They're on top of the woodpeckers and Isla's Family. I was informed to send this bird's pics to some avid ornithologists.I can only think of a couple, so any help will be appreciated. Thx ☺
^%$^%&*& Okay, okay! I'm going to stop typing. Sheesh. The sandperson wants to be on the way so I have turned the night light on for anyone arising in the darkness.
Good Night, Everyone... Thanks again, for all the caring and comforting support...
Yes, seeing Wanda and Gene and all those wonderful people, was really heartwarming...and the meal was delicious....seasoned with Love for sure. My passenger was a gentleman...I was glad I could "give back" a little to someone else.
Funeral is at 11 in Towson, will have a gathering after the burial at a restaurant close by...then most everyone will return to their respective homes....
I'll be back around when time allows....now it is time for shower, shampoo and all that kind of stuff, then on to beddy-bye.
I appreciate all the Hugs, and Andrea's "Timed Release" Hugs... I'll need all of them !
Take care of yourselves, you are so very special in my book!
Once again storms and rain all around us. Weather man even talked about our area being a hole right in the middle of storms. Then this evening a storm headed right at us...we got 2 minutes of rain. Very discouraging!
Going to shut it down for the evening. I am tired from doing not much today.
Good news about Kay. Jo is home too, but not on the blog. Hoda the Amazing is home tomorrow. I think we can say Red the Amazing was on today. Two new hips and no cane!!!! Fantastic!! Proud to know you, Red!!
Time to say good night and go upstairs. Hunter is spending the night with a friend. Kathryn is out, I think still chatting with the mom. They are good friends.
Lucky is complaining big time because Kathryn is not here.

I'm sooo glad to see that Kay is home, and doing a bit better each day! Prayers for her continue here.
Hey, Red! Glad you're not hurting any more, and have chucked the cane out the window! Hope you can drop in more often! Always good to hear from you.
Can't believe Hoda's vacation is nearly over!! Gosh, where DOES the time go?
Judie, happy to report that I won't be needing the secret place for deceased washers just yet. The bearing was what went wrong, and it was repairable. Glad I renewed the coverage for the washer, since we got $287 worth of parts & labor at N/C. (It DID cost $215 to renew the coverage for a year.) The dryer maintenance cost $39.99. Found out the vent is clogged again, so have to call around for the cheapest fix for that. The thing vents to the roof, instead of straight through the wall. Won't use the dryer until the vent is totally unclogged. Found out that if the washer gets old enough that they can no longer get parts, they'll replace it for free if it's under coverage. Not bad!
Good to see Lynne2 here! Sorry you've been having tough days at your work! (((HUGS)))!!
Margy, glad you made it to the Soup Kitchen to see Wanda and Father Capt. Gene! I'm sure the visit did ALL of you a world of good! Will have you in my thoughts, heart, and prayers tomorrow.
Lolly, I never realized until just a couple of years ago that Texas has earthquakes. Hope you haven't had any damage like wall cracks or broken nick nacks.
Well, need to get to bed. It was more Monsoon-like here today, so fairly humid. Kind of takes the starch out of you. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature. Sure hope our eagles are okay! Sleep well, everyone, with SED. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christie♥♥ Charlie too! I ♥ us!!
Visited with GG before I went to Soup Kitchen. She said she spent some time outside this morning and enjoyed looking at all her flowers and the gold fish. Looked for a water lily, but none blooming yet. That was a good sign to me, she never goes out unless I urge her to. She ate some veg. soup and toast. That satisfied me:)
Good night dear friends. Prayers and love for all♥
Margy, I will be thinking about you today. Prayers for you and your family!
Jo, welcome home and welcome back to the blog! We missed you!
Glad to hear that Kay is home and healing - thanks for the update, Lori!!
Carolyn, hope Charlie is healing well!
Wanda, great news about GG!
Busy day today - so much to do by Friday morning, when we leave for the airport to head to Africa! Am most excited about seeing my boy - it's been 7 months!
Wednesday morning: Top of the morning to one and all!
WELLL, fingers and toes crossed: closing is today @ 9:30 a.m. We shall see........................of cousse, as is par for the course, the final paperwork didn't make it to the right dept. befor 5 p.m. so they may not actually get the keys til after 2 p.m.........but we will see. Thanks for your continued positive thougths on this...
HAd a superb day off, even got in a nap! :) I finished reading a book.....had a rather lazy afternoon.
If this actually goes thru, it will be both nice and weird to have the house to oursevles again.....and yet I would not have had this any other way. :)
3 massages this morning, time to get ready. Everyone have a superb day! :)
Kathryn and Hunter stayed over at her girlfriend's house last night.
Saw on the news that there is a big derailment in Columbus. Hope it has not caused a problem for Kay or her family. Does not really sound like it, though.
Good morning everyone. Hugs and prayers for Magpie today. Good news on Kay. Glad MeMa Jo is home. I so loved looking through the wedding album photos Sharon. I left a message on a few of them. HAGD everyone. Off to coffee and dog treats. Hope there is some left after the deer visit. Kritter Kapture visitors will understand Dex and my concern :-).
Home from tennis and I see Sharon's post that the cam is back! Great to hear that familiar buzz again!!
Janet, hope your kids close today! Work is still ongoing on the replacement of the water pipes at my mom's house - it's looking now like the cost will be in the $5000-$6000 range!! What a nightmare - they have had to take up the wood floors in the living room, break up the concrete slab, tear out drywall, drill through wall studs to run the new pipe from the front of the house where it comes in to the back of the house where the pantry closet and water hook-up is! Then the drywall, the floor, and the front yard will all have to be repaired. Ugghh!!! Job is supposed to be finished today, and settlement is set for next Tuesday.
Off to take a shower. Then lunch with some tennis friends. Later this afternoon, I get to take Bad and Worse to the vet to get their nails trimmed! Andy, no such luck for me that a dog would fall asleep while I'm trimming its nails!! Bella either poops on the vet tech or expresses her anal glands and Bandit has to be muzzled!!
My flycatcher parents sure are staying busy - they bring back the most interesting insects - moths, caterpillars, dragonflies. Yummy!!
Good good morning - I have missed your conversations and fellowship! First of all I just got a message from Hoda -- Jo, I had two very good flights from Hartford to Minneapolis and into Spokane. I had a good nights' sleep and am hanging on for another morning in the USA. Absolutely Beautiful country. My phone and email arrangements did not work too well. Other than that it was perfect So I take my leave and God Bless The USA Sent from my iPhone In the Light, Hoda
We arrived home yesterday Tues and it felt like a Sunday so I get confused as to the correct day. It was a very relaxing 10 days and I had my crab cakes and crab imperial....I like ready made crab dishes - I've never picked crabs and doubt in this life time that I ever will. I could not cope with the 'dial up' down at the house... I was too relaxed to put up with it! We had about 2 storms with very vibrant lightening! It didn't cool down until yesterday. It is good to be home and back with all of you.. I ♥ US

Thinking of Charlie and the Surgery...
Prayers for a smooth and easy procedure...and full speed ahead on good health
and for all other things today for everyone including Judie's PT...
Best Wishes....

Okay, Judie is having the PT. Charlie is having surgery. I knew that.
Wishing good results for Judie and Charlie.
No live cam and no still cam this morning. Hope all is well at the Sycamore Palace.
No live cam and no still cam this morning. Hope all is well at the Sycamore Palace.
~
test
Shirley, I double clicked on the publish button and I stuttered. Do not double click...click just once and wait. Got it?
Out to water pots!
I try my best, Lolly. The mouse button is sensitive, it seems.
Sometimes I play games that involve shooting bubbles. I never know when I might shoot off random bubbles. Good thing I do not try to operate firearms.

Trigger Finger Shirley!!
Curly Shirley Trigger Syndrome -- must add that to my diagnostic manual. lol
Off to PT.
Bye
Love it, Judie!!! Who do we call? LOL
Good afternoon my eagle peeps.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
GOOD MORNING,
EVERYBODY.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
nO cams at this nest today, I see, but did you know Phoebe is raising another pair of youngsters. And if you look on their FaceBook page, there's a video of a standoff between her and a snake lizard. The guy who owns the camera has put netting around the area to hopefully keep crows away from the nest too.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
It's getting a bit warmer here in So Cal too. Should get up into the 80's with fairly high humidity today.
C(°ٿ°)D Jim
I haven't been on any this morning so I just wanted to shout out of love, prayers and thoughts to Magpie.
Hi, Jim.
BBL.
Thank you, Precious Friends....

GOOD AFTERNOON EAGLE BUDS Home for lunch to find a brand new thread
THANKS FOR THE NEW THREAD STEVE
Hello everybody!
This Somebody says Hello Sharon
and to JudyE also...
and Everyone else.....
Poor Bella the dog, eating lots of grass, and then, well, stuff comes back up
she knows her family in Annapolis is packing up to move, house nearly empty, storm last week no power for them one night in a motel...
so she is here while they finish up....
I think she'll be fine, but as we know, changes are tough on pets:(
I have not been able to try to make a call to Kay yet...out of touch with some of my phone and email contacts....will see whether Lori was able to, then maybe I can try another time...
thinking of Charlie and Carolyn and wondering how things are going....
must go do things at the other place....
xo ttfn
Carolyn has been checking in on fb. Charlie is out of surgery, and out of recovery and probably going home. Carolyn needs sleep badly!
Carolyn posted this about an hour ago, so guess he is not out of recovery yet......................................Recovery two hrs.... Back in one day surgery area....waiting for him to be released . I am so ready for sleep. Gotta work at midnight...
I have been watching Tai Shan a little this afternoon! I have missed that boy.
Thank you, Lolly. Let's hope Charlie doesn't try to be Alpha Male when he gets home.
Now, for Kay to make a visit.
Any updates from Hoda the Amazing? Maybe she's on Facebook.
Off to the scullery in search of inspiration. Leftover chicken so maybe some ala king.
No, Hoda the Amazing has not been on fb. I left her a message there yesterday, but that girl is having too much fun to mess with the likes of us. LOL
Judie....watch out with handling Curly Shirley Trigger Finger. Rumor has it she puts animals in her dishwasher. She is likely dangerous!

Hi Judy!
LOL Recipe calls for white balsamic, I have regular and it calls for red potatoes...whoops...reg potatoes here!
them darn COOKIES are to blame on my icons messing up
OK LOLLY set that extra plate I should be there in a day LOL
I love red potatos in salad also the YUKON gold ones for mashpotatos
I will take a brats and potatoe salad
I haven't had brats in years

You gotta see this in UTAH a baby eagle in a nest they thought would be dead in the nest but when they went there it was alive Singed but alive Eaglet lives through fire in Utah
LOVE IT found on the 4th of July
They just interviewed the cheerleaders and others who were caught in the storm here yesterday. They say it was not a tornado, but a microburst.
Sure did a lot of damage.
The interview was on ABC News.
Glad Charlie is out of surgery and headed home!
Lovely day here...and thanks for the new thread, Steve.
Sure wish they would get the cam up soon!
Sure hope Carolyn gets to go to Missouri...I would assume she is visiting her aunt and g-grandma.
congrats to Margy on the feather for her cap!
Heading over to Studmuffin's shortly...he's finally back from the beach.
Oh Joy, Paula... Have a nice reunion ☺♥☺♥
I like pretty much any food that someone else cooks, but definitely the food items this hungry girl is reading about...
thanks for the information about Charlie, and Hoda...and other things you bring here that I can hardly keep up with...
I have telephone ear and keyboard fingers
plans are coming together for the Funeral on Wednesday....I will see most or maybe ALL of my brothers and sisters, and my late sister Libby's children and husband....
Requiem Mass, burial, and then a gathering at a restaurant nearby to there for .... some comforting time.
Prayers for Wellness, for complete recovery for Charlie...
and I sure hope Carolyn gets a wowser of a power nap before worktime.
God Bless This Nest, and
God Bless Us, Every One xoxo ♥
PS
Bella chases after those bunnies in the yard but she has not outchased them yet !!
I saw a wild turkey hen and three juvenile turkeylets this morning, they were so cute! Not babies...but youngsters nonetheless
HELLO and Good evening eagle buds just got done with the news and the Insider
JUDIE did you know that there is a new APP for phones out WILD ABOUT TRIALS I thought of you when they mentioned it they were talking off course about Casey and Jose Baez book and the app was mentioned so I thought I would mention it on the blog
Here is the link to the wedding pictures. There are lots but I hope you get to look at some of them. The password is Crisco.
Andrew and Kelsey's Perfect Wedding DAy
Oh good grief, now I am accused of becoming a future serial killer. At age 70, I think I am not a future danger to much of anything.
Except chairs. I did break the chair I fell over. And my ribs are hurting. May have to have them checked.
But for tonight, I am headed to bed very soon.
I spent one summer working on genealogy. Very interesting and very time-consuming.
Been working on my PICA album one had over 1000 pic all avatar got it down to 100 wow what a job ODD that some of the pic are dup over and over 4 times and some more+
Well I'm calling it a day
See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe

this is a test I just found out when you change your avatar it post it 4 times in the album the first is usually larger and then three more I deleted the first and the third and fourth lets see if my eagle flies I think it will
YEP so I know just to leave the second up in all the groups of 4 and then your old avatars will stay I didn't want to get rid of the eagles nest pic I posted OK its time to unwind for bed See you good folks in the am
Hi, Everyone,
I have been in lurk mode today--doing a lot of transcription, too.
♥♥Thinking of Lynn♥♥
♥♥Carolyn, Charlie & Christie♥♥
I ♥ us!
Nite all! SED!!!!
See you in the morning!
'Nighty-night everyone...
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxo
Oh PS
Bella seems to be returning to her more normal self, running like a race horse, barking at the reflection of the TV in the sliding glass door....
I did let her have some food, and it seems it was ok to do that...
Hope that Judie's PT pain allows for a good night's sleep and she doesn't have to share the therapist next time [ probably some handsome dude ]
and yay on the good and boo on any bad from the day just ended...
xo
CAROLYN, that's wonderful news about Charlie - it's over and he is home feeling better! Now, if we could just find a way for you to get more sleep! :)
JUDIE, glad you made it through PT.
That would be a great career for you, especially if Darth pays well! lol
Lori,
I think more sleep is almost impossible!! LOL. When you think you can count on it, you end up getting called in. ugh!!!
Good morning to the sleep deprived and the well rested.
Hoping the day is good to everyone.
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers as another dry week forces my water bill into the national debt level.
Take care all!
Good morning Jewels and CarolAnne!
Sorry about your drought situation, CA. We were lucky and had truly 3" of rain yesterday morning just after having that long heatwave. Wishing you lots of raindrops! :)
Good morning CarolAnne and Lori!
Has LINDA been on the blog, or have I just missed seeing her? Miss DANAMO, too, and, of course, KAY.
Lori, Linda was last on the blog on 7/7.
In case anybody missed it, I posted a link at 9:41 p.m. last night to the wedding pics.
Margy, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today. May fun-filled memories of Libby sustain you today and always.
Sharon, I looked at the pics from the wedding. I must admit that I did not actually view all 1043 of them! But they are wonderful!!
OK, off to get ready for tennis, though it's looking like we may get rained out! Later!
Thanks Shar! You are a great and fast blog skimmer! You must have a photographic memory! :)
No Lori. I have the blog sent to my email and am slow at deleting stuff, so I just typed Linda into my search on my email and got all her posts. :)
A good morning to one and to all. My day off!!!!
Have a superb day . Hugs and light to all!
Too many typos. Too early in the day. Headed for coffee and maybe an early panda nap. BBL
Good Morning!!
LORI - Here I am!! Just busy and not getting here as often as I would like lately!
Hope everyone is okay. Saw that Charlie finally had that surgery done yesterday. Thank God for that!! It was a long time coming!
Janet, Fingers crossed that the kids close today. These closings are a joke.
I see Paula's son and dil are having thier closing rescheduled, too!
LINDA: me too, tomorrow at the latest.
SQUEE! Tom bought us tickets to fly to VA BCH over labor day...gonna see my peeps there!!! EXCITED!!!
Hugs to all!

Shar Love, Love, Love those wedding pictures!!
Amazing.
Well........I loved it all.............except the car :-(
They looked to handle that well, too!!
Okay off to get something done!! xoxo
Lori...no, we had someone design and build our ponds. No way in this world could we have hauled all the rock.
Lolly - Wiring the trees?? That sounds like a great idea. Wonder if we could wire the rail on our deck to keep the squirrels off our bird feeders.... Hmmmmm something to think about!!
Lolly, thank you for the update on Anne-Marie. Now we know why she's been absent. Will do a rain dance for you.
Judy, Court (Tru) t.v.
Packing up some items to take to be re-packaged and mailed by UPS. Part of my downsizing movement.
Need to check out the wedding pictures.
BBL
Linda, Jack uses a pet charger to wire the trees. He has two cirles of wire around the trees. It discourages most squirrels and some can out smart it. LOL
We have 5 pecan trees way down front....away from the oak trees, so they can not get into the trees except for going up the trunks. He has wire going from tree to tree underground. He then runs an extension cord to just one tree. He has given up on the pecan tree in the back yard. Squirrels can get into it from other trees.
LOLLY - A pet charger? What is that? Is it like the wire for an invisible fence that you plug in?
Busy day at the office, here...making dough as MARGY says.
SHARON, those are BEAUTIFUL pictures of the wedding!!! How on earth are you going to choose from so many? I wish you luck with that task! :)
LINDA, so good to see you on here!
Hi LOLLY!
Missed JUDY and JANET on here earlier. Hello ladies!
Okay, meeting in 2 min. gotta run.
Oh, Thelma, I missed you - Good morning to you and Buddy.
One Day At A Time...
Sharon: I am Jonesin' to look at those 1043 pictures of Joy, Love and Happiness....
but I have to tell you, it might be a few days before I can get to them
xoxo
(( All the Time Hugs, Friends ))
Margy, look at my comment at 9:51. It is about AnneMarie.
I am searching for Lynne2 here...and miss her be-bopping in with her happenins',
as I am with others....missing them, but hoping that all is well.
Gotcha Lolly was just cleaning up my typos...
I will have to gaze upon the Hawkwood Garden ponds at another time also...something to look forward to....
xoxoxoxo
Did a little cleaning up of flowerbeds, replanted some grass runners...now my hair is wet from sweat and I have to get ready to go to the eye doctor. Lovely!
BIG HUGS, MARGY. I've been thinking about you.
Thanks Lori...Been thinking about you too...
trying to do a little house-cleaning at The Big House...
Bella's folks will be back around for her tonight I think....three kids three adults (me one of them) and one dig.....kicks up a little dust and a few precious little handprints..which I'll leave in place...
well what's a DIG
new word for DOG I guess
I find it so hilarious that when a dog wants to go doo-doo, they circle around and around a spot about four times then go for it !
headed for those cleaning supplies now...
ttfn xoxoxoxx
Lots of high level light bulbs inside and out need to be replaced...
if the older kids cannot get to them I am going to hire me a studmuffin....
:)
Have not seen in on earthquake sites, but we just had another earthquake. The house creaked. Jack was at the computer and he felt it. Got on fb and they are talking about feeling and hearing it. That makes about 7 since the first of June. Yikes!
Well, Margy, just hope the older kids can not take care of it...hope you can hire a hot studmuffin. LOL
sorry about the continued earthquakes, Lolly,...
you could play that song by Carole....
um, CRS, her last name
"I feel the earth move, beneath my feet....
I know some studmuffins, Lolly....have lots of Fire Department pals :)
Hi, Lolly, Margy, Lori, et al.,
Getting here a tad bit later than I had planned.
Carole King -
I Feel The Earth Move
Lynne1 so sorry.....I hope garage door fix is quick easy and inexpensive
same for your washer, Andy...
And Sharon: Thanks for filling in the empty spaces of my mind....
xoxo
Pulling a Margy here...
Will BBL...
Good afternoon,
Looks like it is fixin' to rain in these parts.
I got up early this morning, but have been doing other things. My ribs were hurting a bit--there are some bruises there and in other places, too.
I went upstairs awhile ago and took a nice nap. Now I need to think about a late lunch and make a grocery store trip.
Good afternoon.
Thank you for the Hoda the Amazing update, Shar. Will be delightful to have her back home with us.
How fantastic, Sharon, to talk wit
h Hoda.
See ya later. :)
GREAT to hear from RED & HODA today!
Now, an UPDATE ON KAY:
So here you are, Keep on feeling better and being perky.....
grannyblt...sure hope the cable and spring thing can be fixed without a whole lot of trouble or expense
and not so bad, Andrea....the cost of the washer repair...that is one appliance, among a few others....that is pretty darn hard to do without !!
God Bless You, Wanda and Gene and all your Church Folks....
let me rephrase that...
maybe it was not THERE I needed to be so much,
but I needed to be around a Momster and a Dadster....in person ☺♥
Howdy, all.
Glad Kay is recouperating and Hoda is having fun!
Sorry I haven't been around, been playing with the Muffin Man ☺
Heading out to dinner tonight....see ya tomorrow night!
♪♫♪Oh, do you know the muffin man,
The muffin man, the muffin man,
Oh, do you know the muffin man,
That lives on Drury Lane?♪♫♪
Oh, yes, Paula knows the muffin man!
And now we know his address...he lives on Drury Lane!
Margy....I am so glad you headed out to see (and eat!) with Wanda and Capt Father Gene. Or is that Father Capt Gene?

Oh, Margy, so glad you could spend the dinner hour with Gene and Wanda. I will be thinking of you and your family tomorrow. Bless you all.
Hi Red,
So nice to hear your good news about your new hips. Come by more often. We miss you when you are not here.
oops I guess deleted the other three does make my avatar disappear it did say in 24hrs so the flying eagle is back
and here is another round of pop up storms comin I got home to one inch of rain from this afternoons storms
Hi All...
Judy, your Flying Eagle is way too cool! You have become a computer whiz!:)
It was so good to have Margy with us for a while, this evening. I felt a need to give her a hug in person and that did settle my soul. It was all I could do to let her know how I felt about her sorrow~
She even helped us a bit...took one of our clients home with his heavy load of free food. Gene told him to not harass his 'Girl Friend'..."Oh, no sir, I wouldn't do that!" Sometimes he tells a client that the person helping him is his Daughter and 'hands off':)
Clients have been told that Father, Capt. Gene is the churches bouncer:)
Hi all, trying to read back and will not remember all, but....
Thinking of Margy, Charlie and Carolyn, Anne Marie, Shirley's sore ribs, Judie's bum shoulder, GG...
Glad to see Kay is home, Red's out of pain, and Sandi's little Bandit is doing better in a house less occuppied.
SO many posts since I last checked and of course prayers for EVERYONE.
MIL is in town, came today for a visit...Steve was home early but I didn't get here til 6. Work has been very busy and very sad.
You are currently using 556 MB (54.32%) of your 1024 MB.
my computer wants to do some updates so I am sure it will kick me off I forget the time that I have it set for I think 10 I am watch Jaycee Dugard story pretty good
she sure is a strong brave gal going through what she did
This eagle was in my picas album so I just saved it to my puter and reused it I did delete it from the past blogs
What good news for everyone tonight.
So happy Kay is home and making good progress and that Hoda the Amazing is rowing her oars back to the West Coast. Can hardly wait to here from both.
Red, so nice you stopped by and that you are doing so well.
Lynne1, please replace both garage door springs.
Margy, you could not have been with better people tonight. Please get some rest and know your momster/dadster family are with you.
Thx ☺
Well, I think it is apparent that Paula has no intention of sharing Mr. Studdly Muffin.
Judy, many thanks for the rain you sent North to VA. 20 minutes of rain is good for the grass and shrubs.
Lynn2, hope you enjoy the MIL visit and that the kitten has a home (one way or another).
^%$^%&*& Okay, okay! I'm going to stop typing. Sheesh. The sandperson wants to be on the way so I have turned the night light on for anyone arising in the darkness.
Prayers of comfort for Margy and all her family.
Restful sleep for all.
God Bless Us, Every One
xoxoxo
Oh Margy, you'll be passing right by me tomorrow on your way....I'll be thinking of you! (((HUGS))) I should be home....
Our prayers and love go with you, Margy!♥
Once again storms and rain all around us. Weather man even talked about our area being a hole right in the middle of storms. Then this evening a storm headed right at us...we got 2 minutes of rain. Very discouraging!
Going to shut it down for the evening. I am tired from doing not much today.
Good news about Kay. Jo is home too, but not on the blog. Hoda the Amazing is home tomorrow. I think we can say Red the Amazing was on today. Two new hips and no cane!!!! Fantastic!! Proud to know you, Red!!
Nite all! Prayers go with our Margy tomorrow.
SED!!!!
Time to say good night and go upstairs. Hunter is spending the night with a friend. Kathryn is out, I think still chatting with the mom. They are good friends.
Lucky is complaining big time because Kathryn is not here.
Love you, Margy.

Love you, Margy.
Hi, Everyone,
I'm sooo glad to see that Kay is home, and doing a bit better each day!
♥♥Lynn♥♥
♥♥Carolyn & Christie♥♥ Charlie too!
I ♥ us!!
Right behind you, Andy:)
Prayers and love for all♥
Prayers & love with MARGY today. You are not alone, sister! Big Hugs!
Good morning my eagle friends!
Margy, I will be thinking about you today. Prayers for you and your family!

3 massages this morning, time to get ready. Everyone have a superb day! :)
Good morning!
Quiet here. Just Will and me. And the critters.
Kathryn and Hunter stayed over at her girlfriend's house last night.
Saw on the news that there is a big derailment in Columbus. Hope it has not caused a problem for Kay or her family. Does not really sound like it, though.
Hope that the day goes well, Janet.
KAY is form Columbus Right is she near the train derailment going on new?????
OH I see Shirley has seen it on the news tooooo HOPING it happens today SIS
Good morning.
Margy, thoughts and prayers for you and all the family.
Good news about GG feeling up to walking about outside. Hope this trend continues.
Andy, so glad my deceased washer must remain alone for a while longer. Sometimes those contracts are very worth the $.
Hope the house closing takes place today, Janet. What a huge relief that will be.
Hope Charlie will continue to feel better today with less and less discomfort AND some sleep time for Carolyn.
Maybe Jo will stop by this morning.
Okay, need to try to make myself less scary then head out to get my "do" did.
Have a good morning everyone.
Love and Hugs for Margy and family today!

Glad GG is up and about!
Welcome home, Jo!
Good morning my eagle peeps.
Thinking and praying for Magpie and her family today. I know the funeral will be tough.
OUR CAM IS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yummy!!
HAGD all!
Have a good day all
Good good morning - I have missed your conversations and fellowship!
First of all I just got a message from Hoda -- Jo,
I had two very good flights from Hartford to Minneapolis and into Spokane. I had a good nights' sleep
and am hanging on for another morning in the USA. Absolutely Beautiful country.
My phone and email arrangements did not work too well. Other than that it was perfect So I take my leave and God Bless The USA
Sent from my iPhone
In the Light,
Hoda
I think I am at the split - oh how I have missed the S P L I T ♥
We arrived home yesterday Tues and it felt like a Sunday so I get confused as to the correct day. It was a very relaxing 10 days and I had my crab cakes and crab imperial....I like ready made crab dishes - I've never picked crabs and doubt in this life time that I ever will.
I could not cope with the 'dial up' down at the house... I was too relaxed to put up with it! We had about 2 storms with very vibrant lightening! It didn't cool down until yesterday. It is good to be home and back with all of you.. I ♥ US
I need to get my avatar back to the Sycamore Palace and so glad the cam is up and pray we see our Eagle Family a few more times this season...
