After having my new gmail account deactivated by Google earlier today I gave them a blow by blow detailed piece of all that was going on with the disappearing posts here, etc, and an hour or so later they wrote back that the problem should be cleared up now. It wasn't the same email I got after the first deactivation. What a hassle! Thank you to Sharon for letting me know I wasn't crazy!

Julie picked the boys up about 20 minutes ago. Seth is doing just fine. His right foot is bruised and a bit sore, but he's not giving in to it. He took Malcolm for a long walk after school in spite of it. Then had hot chocolate, turkey slices, Ritz crackers, grapes and choc. chip cookies to revive himself.;o) 17 year old boys can sure put the food away !

Had a good dr. visit. Just a follow up to the previous one. My dr. is going on maternity leave and was just doing a check up on some of her more wild patients!
Lynn, I can understand your concern. Been there. That pulmonologist better keep a tight watch over your sats. He does not want to deal with angry momsters!!

My bassets are having a very hard time understanding that they are to go out the back yard, not the front. Basset hounds are known for their stubbornness. Maybe that's what it is.
Oh my best friend has a Basset. He is unbelievable! He goes WILD when I walk in the house. Drives everyone nuts, and they claim he only does it when I walk in. Milo is his name.

Hope everyone's day was good.
Had my ENT appointment this afternoon and bottom line is he agrees that this is TMJ!
He checked my ears, checked my hearing, and did that flexible scope down my nose and throat to look down into the back of my throat. Everything looked normal.
I explained to him the dental problems I have had over the past 5 months and he said based on where the pain and tenderness is, it sounds like TMJ is the culprit.
I have an appointment with the dentist to permanently cement the crown and am praying the bite won't be high again, like the temporary one has been.
I just want this to end.....
I really liked the ENT and am glad I have ruled out any of those types of problems and feel better about the TMJ diagnosis. I just wish there was something that could relieve this pain.
I will ask the dentist and see what she says.
Linda, it sounds like now that you know where the pain is NOT coming from that you can go after source. You have had
this rough time with pain for too long.
LINDA, I'll bet my eye tooth that you are a teeth grinder, gritter and clencher. I was such a clencher that I woke up often with a headache. Also caused me to have TMJ. I was given a set of exercises to do with my mouth and a night guard. The TMJ went away and hasn't come back...many years ago!
Oh, I do hope Grey's and PP are not re-runs!
Yes, Jo, true. I am thankful for that. I am not crazy about this dentist, but have to finish with her because she did this crown. I think she was the source of much of my problems this year.
I had a bleeder like Hoda did when she was prepping the crown and she got so frustrated she didn't finish it. I had to come back.
Then I went back several times to get this bite adjusted and she is telling me there is no more room to drill to make space. I will see what she says tomorrow.
As soon as she has finished the crown properly..........I will NEVER go back there.
We have found another dentist and Dennis likes her. He has already been to her.
From experience the night guard is a GREAT invention... LINDA I am glad you know what is the cause of your pain...yes high crowns are no fun...
WANDA - I wake up with headaches all the time! Was it your dentist that diagnosed and helped you with the TMJ? I am just not sure what to do next?

If she says it once she says it a hundred times...when I go for crown installation she keeps having me "tap tap tap, grind grind grin" so she would be sure that my crown is not elevated. Does the same with the temporary one...My dentist is a perfectionist to a fault I think sometimes when I have to be in the chair for 2 hours and 40 minutes, but I am grateful for her work. One time she returned the crown three times to the lab because she was not happy with its fit...yet I am grateful.It is wonderful to have a good dentist who cares.her name is Dr. David Off and she looks like she should be in Junior High!!! I always have to go beyond her very youthful look and remind myself that she knows a lot.
I hope WV DANA's experience at her MOM's is going well.
HODA - Mine does that too, but it doesn't seem until later that I end up having pain on that side. So much so that I can't bear down on that side.
So back I go. I didn't want her to permanently cement the crown until I was sure it was the right fit. She thinks I may have needed a gold crown because they can make those thinner and I don't have much room way back there.
I didn't want a gold crown, but at this point I don't care what I have as long as I get relief!
I will watch Prime Suspect at 10 since The Mentalist is a repeat!
I am going to check out Bones at 9:00!
I may have to view Sherlock Holmes Mystery at 8!

Bassets are stubborn, really? No way? This brat I live with is the most stubborn dog I have ever been around.
Oh my tonight is Thursday night, I thought it was Wednesday night...well it is pitch black outside but it is not snowing and I am headed off to my CONDITIONING CLASS...all I want to do is sit with my fresh cup of tea and take my time drinkning it, but off to be conditioned I go...LOL!!! Feeling a bit guilty about the chocolate I ate today...LOL LOL and double LOL
They had me on antibiotics after the root canal for 10 days and didn't see any infection........so I am guessing NO infection, Jo!
Okay, so I don't think I caught up yesterday and am really tired and not feeling well tonight........but.....
I was so touched by the Momster prayers for Lynn yesterday. I do know that Momster Prayers ROCK, but the beautifyl words and sentiments gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes.
Lynn, you are so loved here and as I have always said, I just love all the genuine prayers from our Momsters!
Okay, Linda....so you've ruled out an ear problem. If the new crown doesn't solve the problem,then it's time to see an oralmaxillofacial surgeon. Maybe a cortisone injection would be beneficial. Just hope you find something that works before having surgery (joint replacement)---even tho' I have a friend who did (both sides) with great success.
Got off work from 1 job at 7 and then typed pathology reports for my other little job. It is time to go watch the tube a while! Love you guys a whole lot!!!!!!

Linda, a gold crown is good...if it's made properly...I have two of them...the last molar...I have a tight bite as well, and I'm grateful my dentist is particular as well.

Today, someone called our office and said she found a dog but could only read Parkton, MD on the tag. She wanted to know the name of the vet hospital in Parkton. She instructed me that if I didn't know, I should ask the other ladies because they would know. No one knew, of course. I googled and found several. Got back on the phone and explained no one knew, but I found some on google she could try. She hung up on me.
The sandperson has begun a slow and stealthy approach along the hallway and I know that sleep will follow soon after.
The night light is on for all who may need to have night vision. Restful sleep for all.

No plans. Monte is going hiking with the Boy Scouts on the Appalachian trail, and the auction on Sunday, but that's it. Trying to figure out how I am going to break the news to my parents that we are going to SD for Christmas.
I will so something with the kids today for Veterans Day. We make cards to send to someone. Last year we had a dad who was overseas. I think we have another one this year so we will send it to him and ask him to share with his group. I need to figure out how to get his address. This is my non English speaking Mom so it is very hard to communicate with her.

THEY'VE MOVED TO UPPER RAIL OF NEST FOR NESTORIZING AT 1 & 4. WISH I KNEW WHICH WAS WHICH EAGLE.
I think the one closest to US is Belle...not sure either, Lori
FACING EACH OTHER NOW. ONE STANDING IN EGG CUP THE OTHER ON THE RAIL AT 4.
mostly because that eagle looks larger, and I think darker, and the white feathery things on the "shoulders"

Darn DanaMo I fell asleep too on Greys. I love having cable. I can go into "On Deman hit tv series" like a day after the showing and be able to watch it. I will look for it today. Cause just before I fell asleep she was getting into plane to go get a sick baby.

Linda I see where you have the appointment for the cementing of the crown. I am sure you know this "if the bite is high he can fix that easily".TMJ pain is no picnic. My sister had/has it very bad. One thing that did help is the guide she wears....for upper and lower...it is clear...can't really notice it when she talks. It is to keep things in line. It is not just for sleeping. She said it does help the pain very much. She said she didn't know what she did before she had it. You can check it out with the dentist that Dennis has found.
