Good late morning to all! So much news to comment about... RIP Dinky! I remember your taking him to Irvine. RIP Dear little Jason - loved seeing those cubs since birth. Prayers for Dr Lynn and Jason having to make a very hard decision. So our eagles are AWOL. Sure wish we could get a ground observer's report. Thanks Leona and Christine for the Decorah report. I wish that owl would get out of the area. I am no sooner here then I need to run an errand to the bakery for their yummy dinner rolls. All of us are heading up to daughters to view their new paint job throughout their home & it was done by our son. Can't wait for the get-together. BBILW
I had a "cyberspace near-death experience" in the early hours of the morning today.
I was happily surfing and searching and reading, when all of a sudden, everything stopped and the screen went to the dreaded blue hue with a tiny-fonted message in the upper left corner: "unknown hard disk error ........39"!!
Anybody know what that means?? Me neither...except I knew it meant everything had come to a screeching halt and I would be lucky to save anything on my hard disk.
Well, long story short, I did get it back to normal after a lot of trials and errors. Also, I have a copy of the new FireFox 4 installed now, and it's working very quickly and crisply...snappily.
Not sure, but it's possible a conflict with Firefox might have caused the failure.
Once I got Windows back up, I scanned the disk with my McAfee, which found 4 trojans, which led to more repetitions and troubles.
Haven't checked absolutely everything yet, but everything I have checked is working right again. Wish me luck.

Gee Lolly, are you trying to make all of us cry? sniff sniffle.
Oh, Lolly, now I'm crying harder than ever. A sweet tribute....full of truths that are hard for us all. That person is a good writer.
Red, one of my favorite phrases is: "It takes a man to cry"----meaning that it is the sign of a good man when he can and does!

Good Morning to everyone almost noon time.
Is Hans "Peggy" cause that is who I was thinking Red should send the receipe too.
Red your a good cook...so that had to be a terrible receipe.
Shirley don't know what is going on but you have my prayers.
Lynne2 so sorry about Dinky. Have fun at Savage Forest ....remember "it's me bear". ( :
Such saddness over the tiny cub Jason. Tears just rolled down my face. Yes I know I hear ya...nature
is nature..but right now I just need to cry.
Oh WOW how great Isla laid her 59th egg. What a record for an Osprey.
Lolly the lady that wrote that tell her thank you..yes more tears but it is beautiful.
Red I remember some times my Wonderful Ed cried. I always felt I had the greatest man because he wasn't that "macho type". A "good man" can cry!!!!!!
I think I'll take my nap a little early. I'm just sitting here getting crosseyed. lol
See ya later
You have to go to their FaceBook site, but the Lily-Hope page has some intriguing videos of the bear family in Spring.
Unfortunately, a little farther down the page there is also the article about the little male cub, Jason, dying very recently.
