Judie has not been up to much except sleep, which in my opinion she is greatly in need of. She has been experiencing a bit more pain, so she has been taking her pain pills which also help her to sleep.
Some of the pain or discomfort she is now experiencing seems to be due to her incisions. It's a tremendous amount of itching. We've been rubbing her down with lotion which seems to give her a fair amount of relief. Also, while she is in bed she removes this heavy boot which to her feels like a hundred pounds.
I think Thanksgiving wore her out. It wore me out. We started planning the meal Wednesday night and she coached me all the way. After all was said and done, our dinner turned out quite well. She ate a very good dinner that night. Otherwise, her appetite is not very good.
Well, I am hoping that she will be rested and in better spirits tomorrow. I think you will be hearing from her.
Here's hoping that you and yours are fine and that you are enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday.
Thank you, Frank! We have all been concerned. Yep, that boot has to feel like a cement block...it's as if they forgot that carrying something like that ona painful area increases the pain. The pills are what she needs, and the sleep! Try to encourage her to enjoy the TG dinner again in the leftovers. We are so proud that you were able to pull off the feast!! Give Judie our love....and you get a bunch of it, too. Hope you are resting well. Hope to hear from one of you tomorrow.
It is that time of night for me as well. So happy to hear from Darth.
Judie, we love you and are trying our best to wish you well!!!! I just think it was fantastic that Darth prepared the Thanksgiving Feast with you coaching, Judie. Must be love!
Okay, I am headed to the shower. My eyes are telling me it is time to give them a rest.
I am with you, Lynn. You are all a very important part of my life.
Yes, I noticed the eagle (4 Kids) flying around the cam installers continuously. It probably didn't quit until the installers did. I was a little surprised that it flew so close to them.
I am glad to see that we heard from Darth, and that Judie is getting needed rest. I hope that her pain goes away very, very soon. She has been through a lot. They both have.
Cold here, too. Just built a fire in the fireplace. The first one of the season. I need to order a cord of wood. Fire logs from the grocery store get expensive, and so do the little packs of firewood they sell.
Whoa Margy! You're right about BWE nest Some one hit the cam! I miss our cam sooooo much! It's not right that we need to wait until the new cam is up! But it is what it is!
I sent Wanda an email concerning Newspaper article with Megan in it! Sounds like plans for next year's Halloween are in the making! Good news for a Halloween shop near by.
Thanks Lolly for the link of the eagles 4 kids. Music was ok but I would like to have been able to hear how much noise the eagles where making.
Where did you ever find that new live cam for us to watch?
So glad to hear from Frank. Sounds like Judie needs to be resting more with that boot off. Glad she is taking the pain med but she needs to eat. THANKS FRANK for keeping us up to date. Sending special prayers for Judie and you too Frank.
Oh Megan made the Herald newspaper and she certainly desires it. What beautiful wreaths she makes. I remember her talking about how sore her hands get. Although she wears gloves. Some parts need the gloves off and repeating that makes her hands sore. She is such a hard worker and a marvelous person.
Jo don't worry about nodding off. You need your meds and rest. You all was mentioning the BWE nest. Yes it does look different.
Over when we lived in Maryland we used wood. Ed would clean the chimney twice a year.
After we moved and did not have a wood stove anymore. We found out the trips we were making to the doctors with Raschida. To breath in the mist meds at the office for her asthma. She no longer had a problem with asthma. So we found the wood stove burning wood was the culprit.
DID YOU KNOW.... Remember the TV show "Paladin" starring Richard Boone? Well, guess what Paladin means? 1. a trusted military leader (as for a medieval prince) 2. a leading champion of a cause.
Sunny, chilly Sunday. I think it's Sunday. I thought Friday was Sunday! Have not read all of today's, but Lynne, read about possible poachers on your property.Call police! As Lynn mentioned, jerk behind us has deer head hanging from a tree. He did that last winter & I never sat out back for months. He hasn't done anything illegal, but I think it's disgusting.
Thx Darth for update. Good Judie is getting rest & you were a great T'Day chef!
Frederick News-Post has good pic and article about ASPCA Honors Days End Farm Horse Rescue Founder - Kathleen Schwartz-Howe. I can't find a link for you.
Hi, Everyone! Boy, did we ever have some weather here last night! Started early yesterday with a super cold, driving wind. Then after dark, it started to rain, which then turned to sleet, and then huge snowflakes--which were coming down sideways!
Sure looked pretty from inside, but you could've frozen in your tracks outside! Was about 30 degrees, but can't even imagine what the wind chill factor did with that!
Couldn't get my computer to work at all yesterday, probably because of the weather. I'm on our friend Andrea's computer right now. She's on some kind of wireless network, but although my laptop worked on it at first, it won't now. I give up.
We were forced to break out the "piddle pads" for little Emma last night. She has a couple of quilted doggie coats, one even fleece-lined, but the front porch was a sheet of ice, and I certainly didn't want to chance that one. Having Judie out of commission and Jim all dinged up is enough, thank you! By the way, Jim, I hope you are feeling MUCH better by now! And Judie, you go right ahead and rest up--you have earned it! I wish I could loan Emma to you! She is a velcro dog, who LOVES laps! In fact, I'm seriously considering making a therapy dog out of her when she is a bit older. She is so sweet, and just LOVES people! Once the puppy "friskies" are over, she will be a really calm, sweet dog, I'm pretty sure. She is crate trained, and doing well in the housebreaking department, too. Believe it or not, last night she was RETRIEVING a little fabric ball that was left over from Gilson, the cat that Andrea lost to a stroke not too long ago. We would sit on the floor and toss the ball across the room, and she would zoom over and get it, and bring it right back!
Well, I need to go feed Emma some lunch. May not make it back on, depending on the weather (it IS supposed to clear up today, and be clear tomorrow). Will try. We leave for home tomorrow morning early, but I have a 6:00 English class tomorrow night, so won't be here until I get home from that. Have a great Sunday, everyone! Have really been missing all of you! Hopefully, will talk to you later tonight. :o]
Andy, thank goodness you kept power during that storm! sorry you had to have bad weather. Emma sounds like she is having so much fun in her new home-away-from-home! Know that you will hate having to leave her to go to school tomorrow evening!
Ravens and Bucs are tied.....haven't caught whether they are playing in Balt. or Tampa....but it's on local TV...wonder if Mits or Ceil went to the game if at home?
Lynn - I emailed the article about Days Inn to you just a few minutes ago.
Went to WallyMart - It was crowded but I knew what I wanted and went straight to it. I passed through the 'Cinnamon' smelling pines and I lost it. Had to leave because of coughing so badly. Really got to me.
Oh, Jo, so sorry.....didn't know that those kind of smells set you off. You know what has (and always has) that kind of effect on me---plus eyes and nose running like crazy? Fabric stores! Think it was the huge amount of sizing in so much material! I was okay in a box store fabric dept. (like Ames, WalMart), but not in a regular shop.
Oh, Jo! So sorry that the smells at Wally World got to you.
Jack and I have finished decorating outside. Yea! I think I am going to do some shopping tomorrow. We were going to get a gas grill for Laurel for her birthday, however they went out and bought one for their Christmas to each other. So, now I need to birthday shop for Laurel. I will probably get her a few tops and then give her money, Was going to do that with the grill, now I will just give her more money. I can not get her pants or jeans, she can shop for then witht he money.
Very nice young men...got to meet both at Open House!
OK, as far as the story for yesterday, which has now gotten even more complicated....
About yesterday, and I just give you the bullet. You'd really have to have been here to see where we live and the lay of the land, so to speak, to know how disturbing this all is...we are fairly far from neighbors in back and on all sides, and we are literally on top of a HUGE almost cliff type of hill from the back and one side. You have to really work to get here unless you come up the drive. There is a wooded area out back where many old vehicles, and trailers with supplies belonging to my landlord and others (that are locked up) in the woods. Along that is one of the trails, and the fields run alongside. One of which is the fenced one we use for the dogs.
Anyway, I was in the dog field and heard lots of noise and walked to the fence to investigate. By and by, the 3 people appeared from behind one of the trailers. I holler over and asked it I could help them. Never seen them before. They started talking to each other an looking at me and Daisy, who was going nuts (probably a good thing) and they didn't answer so I holler over again. No answer, they weren't leaving, either. SO I told them to clear out or I was going to turn the dog loose. I got a lot of F**k You B****h type of comments but they moved off down the trail to the top of the trail that goes down the hill.
Went back and got Steve and we went looking for them but couldn't find them. We drove over to the neighbor down the street (a cop) to let him know what happened, because he also has a storage trailer out there.
He hadn't seen anything, but did say that he has had to run off some people hunting down the bottom in the field (where our property ends). That's when he found the deer, and saw the eagle.
There were 2 trucks on the drive at the bottom, and he said he'd go talk to those guys.
So, later, Dave the cop stopped by and said the guys from the trucks said so and so told them they could hunt there, and that they saw those 3 kids but they were not with them. Meanwhile, Dave suspects these guys don't have permission to hunt back there, but will investigate.
SO today....another neighbor from WAY out the back who has a large piece of property showed up here today asking if we knew the guys in the trucks yesterday. It seems that HIS deer stand was badly vandalized yesterday at some point. He had gone to talk to them yesterday as well, and said they had rifles in the truck (a no no in this part of the county for hunting) to see if they had seen anything.
So we told him about the kids that showed up here yesterday. He went down to talk to neighbor Dave after he left here.
SO, there is trouble about. We think the kids came from a fairly newer sub division about a half mile as the crow flies from here. And while the vandalized neighbor was suspicious of the mysterious hunter guys, after we told him about the kids, he was thinking maybe it was them.
In the meantime, he said he was hunting a couple of days ago and hit a big buck squarely with his bow. He said it should have gone down nut didn't. They tracked it for 4 hours and couldn't find him.
So he wanted Dave to show him where the headless was (Dave dragged it out of view in the field to a wooded area along the other side of the field) so he could see if it was possibly his buck.
And that concludes the story. Very disturbing on many levels. I can't tell you how shaken I was to see those big kids back there. That just doesn't happen. We have all felt pretty safe here, but now....
If the trucks show back up this week, a call will be made to the DNR to have those guys checked out. We can't really even be sure that despite their denial abut the kids, that they aren't somehow involved. Dave said the guys he ran off the other day had been in the field, while a couple of other guys were in the woods banging and hollering, I guess to scare any deer towards them so they could shoot them.
Interestingly enough Paula, one of them was wearing a blaze orange hat and one was wearing a blaze orange sweatshirt. Which is suspect of them knowing there would be hunters, and possibly they really WERE with those guys in the truck and trying to scare deer to them.
Goodnight, Lynne. Thanks for filling us in. Sure sounds like a worrisome series of events. We had plenty of them at my "old" place----50 acres of mountain land...where everybody and his brother (including a deputy sheriff) thought they were entitled to continue hunting because former owner had let them. We had to resort to chains and gates and even blocking road with vehicles. It was bad! One guy even dropped dead of a heart attack----worried family members found him with his hammer still in his hand from building a tree stand. ARGH! No sympathy from me!!!!
Don't worry, Margy----I'm fine!! But have a feeling that leg cramps are going to be really bad tonight! Already started. Just soaked in tub and could hardly get out!
Oh boy, I don't have a gun! I have pepper spray...which I'm sure will end up all over me if I have to use it! Steve doesn't want me out walking around alone, we are going to have to get up earlier so he can walk the dogs with me. I usually do the first walk in the AM after he leaves. Hope your legs don't hurt too much! SIX days til PUPPY!
Jo, sure hope you are feeling better!
Back to TV, probably going to nod out soon so prayers for all!
BEagle - the usual term for that and I hope we will get a lot of opportunity to use it for OUR NEST one of these days of course is "HP" for short 0 you probably already know that !
Right after I posted my last message, I was suddenly unable to access the Internet with my laptop. I can't figure out what is wrong. I will wait until tomorrow and see what happens at work. If I can't access the Internet there, I will get the IT people to figure it out.
I am using my little notebook computer right now, but it is very slow and the screen is so small that it is not easy to use.
Kathryn and Hunter use it regularly, but their eyes are better than mine.
I did post the completed puzzle, Lynn. In fact, I posted it twice. Didn't mean to, but I am not going to try to change it now.
Pepper spray. When I went to Baltimore for a convention once, a friend gave me pepper spray because she was convinced that we needed such things in the big city.
Well, I encountered an unusual individual in the elevator . As I was putting my hand in my pocket to touch my pepper spray canister, I was wondering what might provoke me to use pepper spray in an elevator.
plowing through "stuff" can really be exasperating, BUT, then there are the treasures that can be re-discovered, and that seems to make it all worth while
very interesting for example to come across some things from when my parents were young parents
But there sure is a lot of "stuff" at this two-bedroom apartment :(
Oh, Lynne, I am sorry that your sense of security has been disrupted. It is so sad that someone like that can change your way of doing things, but for goodness' sake, be careful.
So much going on but it seems to be the downside of it all tonight. But Lynn you really had me going....climbing ladders, suggesting Lynne carry a gun and then you take a bath. Such a diverse person you are. And Lynne, it is good that you no longer walk by yourself. It is sad but true. And Shirley, love the puzzle. My daughter and sil did one of A Charlie Brown Christmas, put it in a frame and it is one of her favorite decorations. So much more to comment on but this will do for now. Everyone take care.
There is a balloon monster in my house. I will have to take a picture of it. I think it will deter any cat or dog from venturing into forbidden territory.
I keep checking for a new thread and while I am at it, I check the revolving the globe: I think it is totally off its rocker! No recent hit showing from anywhere but Rochester NY....maybe it just shows a hit if one re-opens that tab, but I give up !!! I ain't in Rochester !
Watching Hallmark movie. Lynne, think you should wear orange vest if you walk dogs and maybe need some Private Property & No Hunting signs. If you rent, hopefully owner would pay for them & if you see anything suspicious, call police. Gotta go in Am to hosp. for carotid doppler. Is a study on patients who used a new filter during the stent procedure~~~I might get paid this time!!They're having trouble getting folks in for their tests.
Goodnight, Shirley. Hi and Bye Suzan! Loretta....would be cool to get paid for medical tests!!! Good luck. Margy, don't get lost in your remembrances tonight!!
Judie is sorry that she was not on with you today. She spent a fair amount of time out of bed at the computer and her desk working on school work. She completed one exam and she will be preparing lecture notes to put online. I think she overdid it. She was complaining of a lot of pain as she headed off to bed.
She ate good for a change this evening: a bowl of tomato soup, crackers with butter, a toasted cheese sandwich and some Pepsi. And now, at 1045 PM, just as a precaution should she start to run a fever during the night, she is polishing off a large bowl of chocolate ice cream!!
Oh well, such is life here in Annandale.
She misses you all and hopes to be back on with you tomorrow.
Oh, thanks, Frank!!!! Judie is starting to sound more like the Judie we know and love!!! I knew the school work would be on her plate ASAP!!!! And so happy that her appetite is re-emerging!!!! Oh, and that preventative is most important!!! Y'all have a good night, and we look forward to hearing from both tomorrow!!!
Oh Thanks for getting in touch with us Frank! Sounds like Judie is becoming Judie again!.. Hope she does well with her physical therapy this week. Bunches of love to you both!
Lynne, when we were in Virginia visiting friends we went for a hike in their woods. Jack and I put orange vests on, Rodney had a bright orange hat on, and he tucked another hat into the collar of the dog. Hunters have been told no, but we did not take any chances.
Darth, is Judie resting and napping during the day? She really needs that and good food to get healed quicker. Thanks again, for your thoughtfulness in reporting Judie's day to us:) (((Judie & Darth)))
Early morning for me. Another Advocates member and I are meeting with the Prosecuting Attorney at 10. We want to learn more about how she feels about these crimes against animals, and what the future holds in that regard. So will say goodnight and pleasant dreams to all.
Great to hear from Darth. I can perfectly understand Judie wanting to do school work today. Wish she could do it more comfortably so that her foot would not be hurting so much.
LOL Weather man is wondering what kind of weather we will have next week....possibility of winter "mix". Oh, no, Mr. Bill!
So glad for a word from Frank about Judie. Hopefully she is feeling a little better to tackle school work. And chocolate ice cream makes everything better!
Hope you all have a good evening. We can start now on the puppy countdown.
Wheee doggy! 22-degrees here, frosty but clear and about to be sunny ☼
Good Morning Eagle Pals Hope it's a good day, special good wishes and prayers for you Jo on your CT-things, results and all that and that cold/cough go bye-bye for good very soon
a daytime look at BWE cam site, it actually still looks a little off-kilter :( a couple of frosty looking eagles at BWO and sundown is already approaching at Fin Ferry
It was very cold and frosty here this morning, too. Thank goodness, I remembered to unhook the garden hoses from the faucets, though it was only a couple of days ago for the front one.
Thanks for the update on Judie, Frank. Prayers for both of you. I hope that Judie can easily finish all of her school work. Computers are truly a blessing in a situation like hers.
Susan is working on her paperwork, etc., for her Ecuador trip. I am happy and excited for her.
Please say a prayer for Kathryn's husband, Tom. Though they are separated now, I have a great fondness for him. He had a seizure this past week and wrecked his work van. He is okay, though sore, but he cannot drive for the present. He has an upcoming doctor's appointment. His new insurance company will only cover the expenses if he changes doctors, and he is refusing to do that. I can't blame him. He has been with this doctor for 20 years.
The insurance company has been a real pain. Kathryn had been taking Hunter to the same pediatrician who had cared for all of my children, but the insurance forced her to leave him and go to someone of their choice.
Tom's seizure problem is the result of an illness he had as a child, but he has been on medication that allowed him to drive. His work requires him to drive, so he will probably be changed over to a job on the premises. Fortunately, they do have that kind of work.
Good morning. Got up early and have already read the paper. Thought to put up the Lake of the Ozarks cam and there they were. They have really been moving the big sticks around. Great to have a cam and eagles to watch!
LOL I even dreamed I saw an eagle and reported it to you. Must have been Paula's and Andy's reports recently that triggered that dream. Too funy!
Prayers for Tom, Shirley. Prayers for Tom and Kathryn!

Prayers for those that need them.
Carolyn did the Christmas Spirit thing. Truly nice of her.
Oh no! GT scored again but missed the extra point.
Hugs to all ♥
Paula's posted link is a good one. The You Tube video of the cam installation was cool especially with the banjo music.
I have it bookmarked.
Bear update

Yes, it looks very promising. I loved how the eagles were flying around when they were installing the cam.
Dana, it was Christie who did the good deed!!!
Goodnight to those turning in.
Hope you are snug as bugs in rugs!

I think Jo went on to bed. She is not feeling well....very tired. Hoping her meds kick in and she kicks this bug in the but post haste!
Signing off from my end, too. Prayers for each and every one. Thank you all for being a very important part of my life!
It is that time of night for me as well. So happy to hear from Darth.

passing through and realized this:
I do believe we have a birthday amongst us today:
Happy Birthday to your grandson Hunter, Shirley...
hope it's a wonderful day from top to bottom, and the start of a great year
xoxox ☺ ♥
Good morning! Thanks for the birthday greetings for Hunter, Margy. I showed him your message, and he says thank you.
We slept in this morning. That luxury will disappear tomorrow, just as all of the critters are getting adjusted to it.
Hunter's birthday party is this afternoon. Funland, here we come! Laser tag is on the agenda.
I am glad to see that we heard from Darth, and that Judie is getting needed rest. I hope that her pain goes away very, very soon. She has been through a lot. They both have.
Thanks for the Eagles 4 Kids link, Lolly. It was fun to watch. Those eagles were very interested in the doings at their nest.
This morning's sleep-in was only until 7:30. That's less sleeping in than some other days.
New avatar. The birthday boy.
BBL. Must get busy. Things to do. I bought some new area rugs for the kitchen. Need to clean the floor and put them down.
Happy Birthday, Hunter!!!
Morning all.
It's cold in these here hills! But wind is NOT blowing....yet!
Our Megan made the newspaper!

Deely Boppers it is Shirley!
nice happy avatar
Sounds like today will be fun....
And a beautiful day for the Birthday...
Cold here, too. Just built a fire in the fireplace. The first one of the season. I need to order a cord of wood. Fire logs from the grocery store get expensive, and so do the little packs of firewood they sell.
27 days til Christmas. Hate that the newspaper thinks they have to remind me on a daily basis....makes me feel harried!
Oh Lynn, that is Great! The article and picture with Megan...thank you....
It's perfectly still and clear here in Martinsburg....
Sure looking forward to a morning post from Jo, hoping she is doing okay
Good Morning Eagle Pals, all of you!
looks like the BWE nest view is a little akimbo this morning, just a wee bit
Hope there are many special things about the day, especially, wellness and joy
time for me to get started on my day - lots on the list of things to take care of and hoping to see the grandson later on

Good Morning Eagle Momster and Dadsters.
Thanks Lolly for the link of the

I would like to have been able
to hear how much noise the eagles
where making.
Where did you ever find that new

So glad to hear from Frank. Sounds

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNTER. HAVE

A BLAST!!! (:
Oh Megan made the Herald newspaper

beautiful wreaths she makes. I
remember her talking about how
sore her hands get. Although she
wears gloves. Some parts need the

makes her hands sore. She is such

Jo don't worry about nodding off.

Thx Darth for update. Good Judie is getting rest & you were a great T'Day chef!
Glad Paula saw an eagle!!!
Paladin..as in Knight in Shining Armor!
As soon as I read your post, the tune started going through my head.
♫Paladin, Paladin, where do you go?♪
(or something like that)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Hunter and Aaron
Can't believe you finished the puzzle already, Shirley and Kathryn!!!! Amazing!! Congrats!
Post a pic, please!!! Right side up if possible!
Frederick News-Post has good pic and article about ASPCA Honors Days End Farm Horse Rescue Founder - Kathleen

Uh-Oh. I like the Vikings also.
Andy, so happy to hear from you! Glad all is well with Emma. Stay warm!
And Jim, good early afternoon to you! Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
17-10, Vikings, but Skins are driving towards the end zone.
Go Skins!
Skins lost, 17-13
Andy hope the weather is good in the morning for traveling home. Prayers being said for your travels.
Sounds like Emma is doing the puppy training very well. Bet the velcro is to Dad lol
I'm done with the window......and the SKins let me down.....boo hoo! :(
That was quite a job---I was up and down that ladder about 6 times!
Boo, went to store & now I'm told Redskins lost :>(
Andy, what strange western weather! So glad Emma is happy!
Lynn, congratulations, & don't climb ladders again! ☺
Squirrel on Pa deer cam
On Indiana feeder cam that is near
water. Birds are feeding; dove, titmice,
black cap chickadees, finches.
Since this morning it has snowed
in Minnesota. Squirrel is at feeder.
Snowing on the Wisconsin deer cam. Don' see any deer at this time.
Moose on the moose cam.
Several Elk on the Arizona Elk Cam.
Squirrel on Snowman Cam
Andy, thank goodness you kept power during that storm! sorry you had to have bad weather. Emma sounds like she is having so much fun in her new home-away-from-home! Know that you will hate having to leave her to go to school tomorrow evening!
Ravens and Bucs are tied.....haven't caught whether they are playing in Balt. or Tampa....but it's on local TV...wonder if Mits or Ceil went to the game if at home?
Dinner almost ready--and I am hungry!!
Good sounding movie on CBS tonight. Sam Elliott stars---he's almost as good as Tom Selleck!
Ravens score! 10-3.
Wish Lynne would pop in and let us know that all is well.
Must be playing in Balt. Crowd roared when the Ravens scored. 17-3!
Go Ravens!
Heading out for a bite to eat....bbl
Lynn - I emailed the article about
Days Inn to you just a few minutes ago.
Went to WallyMart - It was crowded but
I knew what I wanted and went straight to it. I passed through the 'Cinnamon'
smelling pines and I lost it. Had to leave because of coughing so badly.
Really got to me.
Came home after eating at cracker barrel.
Aerosol bugs sprays do it, too!!
I second the motion on Sam Elliot.
What movie?
I have Anne of Green Gables coming on Public Broadcast. Awesome.
But also Michael Clayton on another station. What to do. Erase something on DVR.
Too bad about the Skins.
Andy, sounds like you have a smart little pup. Glad she is doing so well.
Dana, Paula found and gave us the new cam eagles 4 kids. I just made the blue link.
BEagle,movie is called November Christmas.
Movie on CBS channel 9 that Sam Elliott is in is called "November Christmas".
Lolly, Laurel does what I do----if I need it or want it, I usually get it!!! This year, I told Christie exactly what I wanted and she ordered it!
Hi,
Back from Hunter's birthday party. It was very nice. Lots of activities.
Glad the birthday party was a success, Shirley!
Good evening all!
Happy Birthday to Hunter!
Happy Birthday to Aaron!
Breaking this up due to blogger cop!
Lynne, I think the best thing to say would be "You are trespassing on private property! You need to leave before you get shot by a deer hunter!"
Or something like "before someone mistakes you for a deer and shoots at you!"
I imagine that is happening on a lot of properties at this time of year, Lynne. Not the vandalizing, but the trespassing to go deer hunting.
Lynne -
I would be hoping that someone might contact DNR about all that...
maybe your policeman neighbor has already thought of that.
BE CAREFUL !
Good Evening Eagle Pals
Lynn
okay, sigh of relief, you made it and up down the ladder 6 times and made it down the last time to tell us about it !! Girl Power ! ☺
Interestingly enough Paula, one of them was wearing a blaze orange hat and one was wearing a blaze orange sweatshirt. Which is suspect of them knowing there would be hunters, and possibly they really WERE with those guys in the truck and trying to scare deer to them.
Okay BWE cam site looks back to normal, and the BWO site has a link to a picture of some Eagle Hanky Panky ♥
Correction:
The Eagle BWE site has a link to a picture of some Eagle Hanky Panky which took place at the BWO platform....sorry about my error on earlier post
ISS hereabouts at about 5:10 and at about 5:36 Monday and Tuesday mornings...then nothing else listed for the next week
going to be low and not extremely bright but skies look like they will be clear for it
I'm sorry to report that we haven't seen the eagle yet either. Hope it's still around.
Going to hit the TV for a while before bed....first day of "real" work at Irvine tomorrow!
Just make sure you keep things locked, don't venture out alone....and carry your gun with you.
Take care Lynne2.
Magpie...That IS some hanky panky on the BWE site. Oops.
Time to say Good night. I will watch the November Christmas movie and call it quits for the evening.
Prayers are going up.
♥
G'night, BEagle! Enjoy the movie....I am!
Yah enjoy your movies, gals
BEagle - the usual term for that and I hope we will get a lot of opportunity to use it for OUR NEST one of these days of course is
"HP" for short 0 you probably already know that !
any yellow lab owners on here?
Hello again,
Right after I posted my last message, I was suddenly unable to access the Internet with my laptop.
Fortunately, the person proved to be no threat.
Yahoo, Shirley and Kathryn!!! Excellent job!!! Thanks for putting the pic on!
Hi, Lynn,
I got some fun pictures at the birthday party, but I will not try to upload them from this computer tonight.
Thanks for the puzzle, Lynn. We enjoyed it. I am planning to frame it now that we have finished it.
I am going to head upstairs for the evening. Need to wind down and think about getting ready to go to work tomorrow.
Way cool pictures, Shirley....
what a neat puzzle!
Good Night to you also...
don't think too much or too long...just turn it all over to sleep....maybe the ideas will appear magically through the night
xoxox
plowing through "stuff" can really be exasperating, BUT, then there are the treasures that can be re-discovered, and that seems to make it all worth while
very interesting for example to come across some things from when my parents were young parents
But there sure is a lot of "stuff" at this two-bedroom apartment :(
Oh, Lynne, I am sorry that your sense of security has been disrupted. It is so sad that someone like that can change your way of doing things, but for goodness' sake, be careful.
It's the puzzle I won at open house, Margy. Lynn brought it.
Good advice about getting to sleep, Margy.
Happy Birthday Hunter!
Happy Birthday Aaron!
Hi, Suzan.
Thanks for all of the kind birthday wishes, everyone.
Hello Suzan...
good to "see" you and sure hope your Thanksgiving Holiday has been a good one
going to disappear for awhile before bedtime
better say Good Night
just in case I don't make it back, and it sure is the season in particular now to say:
God Bless Us, Every One
need to get out my edition of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and read it for real in there ☺
xoxo ♥
Good night, Margy.
And good night to everyone else. I will see you later.
I keep checking for a new thread and while I am at it, I check the revolving the globe: I think it is totally off its rocker!
No recent hit showing from anywhere but Rochester NY....maybe it just shows a hit if one re-opens that tab, but I give up !!!
I ain't in Rochester !
there sure isn't any nest site to make a hit on :(
G'Night Shirley...hope that Hunter has pleasant birthday dreams tonight ☺
Watching Hallmark movie.
Lynne, think you should wear orange vest if you walk dogs and maybe need some Private Property & No Hunting signs. If you rent, hopefully owner would pay for them & if you see anything suspicious, call police.
Gotta go in Am to hosp. for carotid doppler. Is a study on patients who used a new filter during the stent procedure~~~I might get paid this time!!They're having trouble getting folks in for their tests.
May konk out, so Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Cam action in Ely:
Cam
Goodnight, Shirley. Hi and Bye Suzan! Loretta....would be cool to get paid for medical tests!!! Good luck.
Margy, don't get lost in your remembrances tonight!!
Hi Ya'll, Darth here.
Cheers,
Darth
Good movie!!! Don't care much for the actress playing the mother---never have. But it WAS good!
Great movie! Miracles do happen!
Oh Thanks for getting in touch with us Frank! Sounds like Judie is becoming Judie again!.. Hope she does well with her physical therapy this week.
Bunches of love to you both!
What a heart-warming movie. Lynn, I didn't care for the actress playing the mother, either...all other actors were perfect for their roles.
Watched the Hallmark movie...very touching.
Thanks again, for your thoughtfulness in reporting Judie's day to us:)
(((Judie & Darth)))
Early morning for me. Another Advocates member and I are meeting with the Prosecuting Attorney at 10. We want to learn more about how she feels about these crimes against animals, and what the future holds in that regard.
So will say goodnight and pleasant dreams to all.
Great to hear from Darth. I can perfectly understand Judie wanting to do school work today. Wish she could do it more comfortably so that her foot would not be hurting so much.
LOL Weather man is wondering what kind of weather we will have next week....possibility of winter "mix". Oh, no, Mr. Bill!
Getting paid for allowing medical testing, sounds only fair to me!
Wish someone would pay me to let them give me a real NEW KNEE:)
$36,500!
Well I just got knocked out of the blog
Going to get some sleep as I have dr
visit tomorrow with CT. we'll see what is going on - Pray me Well
Good Night and Prayers for all
Hugs to all of you, my friends ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Night Lynn♥
So glad for a word from Frank about Judie. Hopefully she is feeling a little better to tackle school work. And chocolate ice cream makes everything better!
Hope you all have a good evening. We can start now on the puppy countdown.
Good nite all!
BIG TIME PRAYERS for you, Jo!
Night♥
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
More than happy to "pray you well", Jo. This is not the time of year to be sick! You have things to do, and family coming home!!!
Going to say good night. Think I am going to give myself a quick manicure before heading to the shower.
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Hee Hee...smelling roses! Good chance TCU is going to the Rose Bowl. So exciting!
Good morning. Now I can get on the Internet, thank goodness.
Will see you later.
Wheee doggy! 22-degrees here, frosty but clear and about to be sunny ☼
Good Morning Eagle Pals
Hope it's a good day,
special good wishes and prayers for you Jo on your CT-things, results and all that and that cold/cough go bye-bye for good very soon
a daytime look at BWE cam site, it actually still looks a little off-kilter :(
a couple of frosty looking eagles at BWO
and sundown is already approaching at Fin Ferry
Good morning again.
I must run some errands. I hope to be back before too long.
Have a good day, everyone.
My new avatar--the balloon monster. It guards the bags of gifts Hunter got so that no errant doggies can get to them.
Dear Shirley
I am sorry to hear of Tom's condition and his accident, and yes, will surely pray that things come together in a positive way for him
Elsie and Einstein
Have been watching these two work hard on their nest.
Two eagles on BWO cam! Wow, I am having all the luck this morning.
Time for me to go get beautiful and ready to head out. Determined to get out earlier than I usually do. I am so slow in the mornings!
BBL
Now to eat a bite of breakfast. About to head out!
Have a great dau!
