SISSY...if your furnace is not working yet, Gene says to check you outside filter line (if you have one) it may be frozen. Hair dryer or propane torch will thaw it out:) GOOD LUCK!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! It is snowing! However, it is only 39 so it is not sticking, but it is pretty coming down. An hour north Laurel will be getting more. White out conditions are predicted because of the wind.
I posted a picture of our tree on Family Pic's. Wanda asked about the tree. It is articial. We always had a real tree, but they get so dry and are such a fire hazzard that we went to artificial several years ago. Oh, yes, Jack and I decorated it ourselves. Mostly Santa ornaments and I lost track of the number of lights, way over 1,000.
Our stockings are hung! Even though Michael and family will not be here this Christmas their stockings are hung too. Santa can start stuffing at any time. lol We also always have what we call "stocking overflow"!, so plastic bags of goodies will be on the floor under the stockings. Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday.
Did you see the blog of Diego's exam yesterday? And then they have a video of his first real foray into the outdoor exhibit area.
Somehow after all that sleeping when other cubs would be wriggling, crawling and exploring more than he has, he comes alive when he gets on a blanket in the exam room or in the dirt and grass of outdoors. And he seems to be up to speed with other cubs development by some miracle.
I was surprised that he can walk well, but now I see he can run well too...????

LOLLY! When do you quit baking? You must love to bake. Makes me feel so bad for not baking anything:( I did bake a TURKEY last night:) Going to have BACON PASTA for our dinner tomorrow in addition to the turkey. You really started an epidemic of that dish, Lolly. We all love it that have tried it on here!:)
Well darn it all! Missing a lot of good things on here! Just watched the video of Diego in the outdoors. He sure is ALL boy! Everything goes into his mouth also.
Keep enjoying your day - I am setting up my table now.
Good late morning, everyone. Merry Christmas Eve! And a very Merry Christmas to the NCTC folks who make all this possible. Busy, busy here with last minute stuff. It was 9 degrees here this AM. ARGH. SIL and his bro are bringing wood htis afternoon. Getting ready to run out and get corn and softener salt so THEY can carry salt in and put corn in feeder for the deets, squirrels and birds! Meeting other SIL at the store to get turkey from him....weather report too unstable for me to make the trip to CharlesTown for 11PM church service. :( :( Love everyones' lovely trees!! Still no word form Judie----am concerned. Thanks for all cards, Momsters and Dadsters! Jim, maybe you could email me your mailing address!!! Will check Diego video and report later today when I have a chance to relax---ha!! Catch you all a bit later today. Stay warm qand safe and don't work too hard---RIGHT!!??!!
Good Xmas Eve afternoon to everyone. Was up early, but never looked at 'puter~~nuts. Maybe our birds will come back this PM. Got some more things to do today. All of you West & North of DC area, PLZ be careful tomorrow. Icy stuff supposed to fall. Our's will change to rain, I hope!
yes, it did! thanks a kzillion! I moved over to the Sheperdstown webcam after the Hornby eagle eggs didn't hatch ::SIGH:: Very traumatic experience, that was! anyway...I'm a momster and when Belle and Lib lay their eggs, I try to be a regular. There's a fine group of ladies and gents here!
Maybe Darth will come on if they have laptop.? Looking at Shirley's squirrel & Shorty and other squirrels here also eat on railing. F put out sunflower seeds and raisins & when I just put out peanuts, the Bluejays took all of them!!!Shorty is eating the seeds nonstop. She will have to go to WeightWatchers soon!! Oh well, guess that can be their Xmas present....back to work ☺
Hope I didn't miss you Geula! Good to hear from you and soon Lib & Belle will swing into action and we'll expect to see you more often! I'm getting ready for family to be here this evening... I'll be looking forward to seeing you on the blog! ((hugs))
Wanda...it just tickles me pink everytime I hear someone making Bacon Pasta. Wow!
Yes, I love to bake, but do not do a lot of it....too fattening. lol Have two apple pies in the oven, Christmas music playing and the snow still coming down. It is sticking to the roofs and some on the ground. Very exciting...great weather to be baking!☺ Laurel says the boys are very excited! Can you imagagine their excitement doubled....Christmas Eve and SNOW!
Thank you Steve and may you and your family and all the NCTC folks have a lovely Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and a blessed New Year.
Back from Walter.
Swelling, heat, and redness are reaction to the procedure. Leg/foot starved for blood so long that vessels/tissue dying and are now engorged with blood = edema and discoloration. So much heat the skin is peeling. Good news: stents are open, angioplasty area open, very strong pulse in foot. I know, more than anyone wanted to read.
We are not doing much for the holidays. We did not decorate this year -- too much else to worry about. Not even cards sent out. However, trees and homes of bloggers are just beautiful. Nice to enjoy what you all have accomplished.
Lolly, enjoy the snow and hope the grandsons will have enough to play in -- maybe even just catching flakes on their tongues.
Jo, enjoy the evening with your family.
Hi to Geula, Shirley, Paula, Lowreeda, Wanda, Sharon, Sissy (hope something got warmed up), Glo and Dex.
We have never closed this early on Christmas Eve, but today we are closing at 2pm...
So I am headed home to get changed and head to my ex MIL house to have Christmas Eve dinner with my 2 sons, dil and grandsons. Will check back with ya'll later...have a great afternoon!
Robe problem solved, but Hunter did not get to see Santa. Kathryn said they gave up after standing in line for 2 hours. They will e-mail Santa this year.
Thank you, Judie for the report! So happy you had it checked and know that all is going well. Prayers for this to pass fast!
Pecan pie is now in the over and Jack is making a last quick run to the grocery store.
Now down to 35, but the snow has let up for the moment. What was sticking has melted. Need to talk with Laurel to see how they are faring. They are always a few degrees cooler.
Christmas Eve services are quickly approaching. Time to visit with a good friend , share a meal and gift exchange and focus on the celebration of the birth of our Savior and Lord. so will be signing out for today now and wishing you all Joy and Peace . You are each loved very much for who you are. We are all different yet all one. We don't have to actually be on the Blog to know parts of the lives and this years Holiday season as it comes to each one in its own way, an dit reaches across the pond to Chrissy and on over to Isreal to Geula. So very special for us all. Looking forward to all we will share throughout the remainder of this year and into the New Year. Once again God Bless us everyone. If you need a hug today or tomorrow and you know who you are, please know I am sending that and prayers your way. Dex sends a slobber kiss but its an awfully sweet slobber, trust me on that one. :-)
Just posted on face book a video Joey posted. It is a video of the Fritz household...daddy and little boys hyper for Christmas and Laurel busy in the kitchen. She takes after me in many ways!
Called Rus and asked him to bring a veggie tray for tonight. He is still Christmas shopping. I'm not surprised. We will eventually get together, but it will be awhile.
First order of business was to check on Judie... Judie, this sounds, okay, know you are in discomfort, but it is GOOD to know that the healing process is working: Pain can be a GOOD sign of healing.
Watching the Weather channel, I see a lot of folks are in a tough spot....I know we are pretty down about our local forecast hereabouts....I guess there is some comfort in knowing, it could be worse. God Bless all those struggling with the elements.
I'm headed to get me and the dog some dinner. Something nice and warm for me. Then relaxing in recliner and hitting some movies.
I just received another Christms Present from Heaven thank you my darling Ed. That guy is really something.
PEACE, JOY, HAPPINESS, SAFE TRAVELS, GOD BLESS AND MERRY CHIRSTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT ((((((((((MANY EAGLE FRIEND HUGS HEADED YOUR WAY)))))))...
Hi, Margy, if you're still there . . . I'm here waiting for my children to show up. Rus, at last report, is still shopping up in Northern Va somewhere. Susan just got off work and will come tomorrow.
So for now, it is George and me. George is ready for supper.
Yes, it was good to hear from Judie. Everyone was hoping for that.
I'm still here but getting ready to shake a leg and finish up here before work, Shirley . Love to George ! and Hi Dana, as you "talk to Ed" you be sure to let him know we love you both !
Judie, Judie, Judie----not too much info! Relieved to know that what is happened is to relatively normal----guess the concern and suffering will be worth it later when all the new patency gives you a healthy leg again. Just relax and take it easy....you can live Christmas vicariously through us. Back in the old days, before eldest was old enough to understand Christmas, we always went (from here)/came (there) to Moms'----if that were still the case, I would either have brought you dinner, or carried you to her place!
Just want you all to know that I am having my first White Christmas ever!!! The ground is covered! The wind is awful! The furniture on the covered patio is covered with snow. I have taken pictures and will post them later. Actually had fun posing for pictures just for you!!!!
Time to head out to church. I will be back later. Jack and I are going to build a fire when we get home, have pizza and work a Christmas puzzle in front of the fire.
I have really had my underwear in a bundle since noon. Box from Missouri came---looked like it had been through a war. I opened it and all but one of the gifts had been torn open, paper balled up as if used for packaging. Stopped at PO on way to meet SIL, and they closed at 12.........boy, are they going to hear it from me Sat.---hope I can get out! Cinnamon is supposed to go to get her sutures out---I can do the ones on her back, but don't feel comfortable around the eye.
Did You Know....the "in" thing for jewelry and ornaments is made from reindeer-dung? Dime-sized pieces dehydrated, sterilized and sprayed w/ glitter. It is a fund-raiser for the Miller Park Zoological Society in Bloomington, IL. $15 and $7.50 respectively at the zoo gift shop. Available by mail------hoew many do we want to order???? Yuck!
Loved the pic of Santa on the train! Margy in the right place at the right time!! Shirley, gifts were still there....plus, just talked to sis and there was a box of cheese that she didn't send.
Your story about the package reminded Will of something that happened to him once right after 9-11. Susan sent him a care package that included some laundry detergent. Will never got the package and Susan got a message that she could claim it if she wanted it. They figured that the liquid in the package spooked the postal officials.
Margy, have a quiet night and a safe trip home tomorrow. Thanks for what you do for others.
Sharon, so glad you had such a nice time with your son. A joy for sure.
Lolly, fun that you are enjoying your first white Christmas ever. I remember my first which was about 56 years ago down in Norfolk. Just a dusting but so magical for a child.
Lynn, you can bring dinner anytime just, please, leave the dung at home or somewhere. Best for Cinnamon. DON'T EAT THE CHEESE -- EAT SOME OF SHIRLEY'S MEATBALLS, INSTEAD.
Dinner over and kitchen cleaned up. Going to elevate my leg and watch some t.v. Back later.
We are home! That was very exciting! Drive to church was s-l-o-w and rather frightening, but we made it. Only approx 25 folks there. It was very special. After church we ordered pizza and picked it up while in town. Roads were better but still scary, especially here in the country. We now have a fire going. Going to post pictures soon.
I must tell you about my evening. Apparently, Margy stopped by GG's on her way to work this evening. That is not a usual stop for her. I am not sure what made her stop this particular evening, but it must have been my guardian angel...or GG's Angel. It seems that GG thought this day was Christmas and wondered why we didn't pick her up on our way to Berryville, to celebrate the day with Karla's OTHER family. Margy called me and told me that GG was upset and confused. So, we went in to her house and she was so upset and crying because she thought we forgot her! I was finally able to make her realize that tomorrow was Christmas and she calmed down and was back to her old, sweet self. What to do, what to do?? Thank God that something made Margy stop by this particular evening!I think the good Lord put her into my life for a reason other than her precious friendship!
And the friendships we've forged through 'lectronic rapport.
I am turning my Christmas Eve light out but leaving the night light on for others who are sharing the evening with family and friends and for those who may need to be on the lookout for meatballs rolling along between VA and WV -- or WV and VA.
Oh, Wanda! Bless our Margy!!!! Wanda, is it about time to have GG move in with you or go to senior living place? Mother lived in a place where she had her own two room apartment. They cleaned and did her linens once a week and there were three meals a day. It was really a great place and we knew she was watched over. If she did not go down for a meal, they checked on her. Prayers for you and for GG as time goes on. Thank you, Lord, for our Margy!!!!
Lolly, I don't know what to do at this point. GG doesn't want to leave her house and I don't want to leave mine. After having my Dad in a nursing home, I promised GG that I would NEVER put her in one. I am going to go in to her house each day and prepare her meals and give a great deal of thought about what is best for her and me. Wish I could ask her what to do. I have been able to do that all my life and now I can't:( I'm praying that the Lord will guide me and direct me on the right path...I feel it is in His hands now.
Wow, Margy was the Guardian Angel tonight to check on GG. I wish her the best when she gets off & know she is smart enough not to travel if it's bad weather there. Glad you got in & out OK, Lolly. Talked to daughter tonight & they are just getting wind so far, They are flying to New Orleans tomorrow, but weather OK from there to N.O. I AM DONE! (except for dishes)Fruit nut bread should be done in 15 min., & want to watch Pope & then be Santa! Ho,Ho,Ho! Have a wonderful Eve, and a Blessed Xmas!!
Wanda, Mother was not in a nursing home. It was senior living....a beautiful place! She really enjoyed it. Her apt. was very nice and she enjoyed her meals and the friends she made. She was 500 miles from me and would not move here. She wanted to be home and with her doctors. She had my brother.
To those of you on facebook. I have posted pictures from today. One picture is special for you. I said to Jack "Let's go make a fun picture for the Momsters". This is what we came up with.....me hanging with Santa. Love you all. Merry Christmas!
I am just now getting to my crossword puzzles from the morning papers! And then going to take my bath! Just got thepies put in their containers---too slippery to carry out to garage, so think I'll just set them out on the deck. They'll be fresh frozen!
Oh Lynn, please reconsider using the deck to store your pies. We stored a roast one year inside the grill on the patio and a racoon lifted the lid and ate the roast. They are so clever!
Wanda---just thought better of it anyway-----it's supposed to precipitate---and my luck the containers would leak!!! And, yeah, I wasn't thinking....I have coons, too!
Don't know where Lynne is, but I trimmed a tree because she wanted to see our trees and I didn't have one. Now, I do and she is not here! LOL Don't think Helen has been on today either...maybe I missed both of them! Still hoping the bad weather holds out until we are all back home from our outings. Bedtime for me.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS SLEEP WELL PRAYERS FOR ALL
Just checking in real quick to tell all of you that we are so blessed to have you in our lives.
Hope all of my wonderful Eagle and Panda buds have a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas morning. This is the one night of the year when the world really does feel at peace!!!
LOL Wanda! Just love it. One time when we were camping in Colorado during the night we heard a commotion. A coon had opened the lid to a tin and was eating our pound cake!!!!! Ahhhh!
Okay, to family pics I have added 17 pictures from today. Just remember to click "older posts" to see all these wonderful pics. ha! The one of me hanging with Santa was made specially for you!
Wanda this will be the hardest decision you will ever make as a daughter! I went through this with mom. She took a fall and couldn't get up by herself and broke her one finger - That was the sign to bring her to our home. Then a stoke came and that was the sign to take her to the nursing home. There are signs from above if we don't make decisions soon enough. I will pray for you and GG making the right decisions for both yourself & your mom.
My Christmas eve evening was fantastic. Attended Mass with 2 of our families. Everyone enjoyed being together this evening - the food was delicious. The fellowship was even better.
Tomorrow should bring some more family here - I am hoping the temps rise quickly!
Ditto what Sissy said!!! Couldn't have said it better!! I'll just add that finding y'all has been the greatest experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Almost time to read the Bible story of the birth of our Lord, so I will say goodnight to you and wish you peace and joy and love as your most treasured Christmas gifts. Love you all.
Hi, Everyone! Merry Christmas Eve! Hubby and I are unwinding a bit this evening. We went to lunch at Red Lobster with a gift card someone gave Hubby, and it was delicious! Our daughter called from TX, and she's SO excited! They are getting snow! She's wanted a White Christmas all her life, and she's finally gotten her wish! Judie, SO glad to hear your leg is all right, and hope and pray that it doesn't hurt you too much! Sleep tight, and talk to you tomorrow. Sissy, hope you managed to get some heat! Prayers for that continue! Glo, thank you for the lovely sentiment in your earlier post! Love you dearly! Slobbery Dex kisses gratefully accepted! Shirley, Bassets do slobber, but our daughter used to have 2 St. Bernards, and NOBODY slobbers quite like they do! I've truly been slimed! MERRY CHRISTMAS to Steve and everyone at NCTC, and a Happy New Year, too! Wanda, Margy truly IS an angel, isn't she?! So glad that everything worked out OK. Prayers for heavenly guidance for you! I know what you're going through. Shirley, really like your Christmas tree, and the picture of George is just precious!
Nice to see that Geula was here! Hi, Geula, don't know if we've officially met--I'm Andy, and I've been here since April. I live in Southern California, near Disneyland and Angel Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Angels.
Rus and Rebecca arrived awhile back and we've had a nice visit. Now, we're headed to bed. Tomorrow, Susan, Kathryn, Tom, and Hunter will come.
Wanda, it is a difficult decision. I think assisted living is a good option for many. My mother stayed in her home and had someone come in to help her. She was many miles away, and I did not want to dislocate her, but it is hard to know if it was the right decision.
We did look at different places around here, and I learned a little bit. It is worthwhile to see what is around there. I am sure there are more options than nursing homes.
Will just commented that this is his first white Christmas, too. I had not realized that. We moved to Virginia when he was about 3 months old, so he had very little experience in Ohio, and no Christmases, not that he would remember anyway.
We did not always have snow for Christmas even in Ohio, but I expect they will have snow this year, too.
Good Night, Shirley! Sleep snug and warm! Talk to you tomorrow. Good night to you, too, Paula! Love your pictures! I'm waiting up until 10:00 pm here (midnight in Texas), so I can call and wish our daughter, Jen, a Happy Birthday! Be back in a bit--need to get some more root beer.
Oh, Shirley, Yes, it's pretty nice to think of being related to Charles Dickens! Love all his books and stories, too. (Good thing, isn't it!?) You'll never hear me saying "Bah, humbug"! Need to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jesus at midnight, too--and isn't it Ceil's husband's birthday, too? I think Ceil mentioned that a couple weeks or more ago.
Good morning Dana! Merry Christmas. I know this is a tough one for you. Been thinking about you this morning. Many prayers and (((((((((HUGS))))))))) coming your way this Christmas morning!
Good Morning Merry Christmas, Eagle Family Friends.
Enjoyed all the posts and the new pictures.
Work shift was busy but we had a couple of nice Santa Saves...a couple of families needed some assistance, and some Santa Angels were able to work some miracles.
Old crappola weather got a late start, so no traveling yet today for me, will catch some z's and hope for the best later.
Lovely to see the Eagle in the nest this morning, I saw only one... but more lovely to see YOU folks.
Headed for the pillows and a real bed not a sleeping bag...
Best wishes for a magical Christmas, even though the weather hereabouts is dealing us a tough hand.
Prayers that Wanda can soon be guided by our Lord for the decision for GG's confusion, safety and health.
Margy God does lead us to go places or do things that he wants done. You listened to his word and GG did need checked on. Thank you our "Special Lady Margy".
Just having coffee and waking up. Everybody else here is still asleep. The others will not arrive for awhile. I still have a few things to wrap, and still more when Susan arrives with them.
Good morning, Dana, Margy, Paula, Megan, Sissy, Mits, Glo, Sharon, and anyone lurking this morning. God bless! --Expect Jim and Andy are asleep, or just waking up, maybe.
Off to get some breaksfast. I bought some sausage biscuits, and Rus has brought lox and bagels. He has been hanging out with some Jewish friends lately! I will try that later. It looks interesting.
Have to find out how Rebecca reacted to her second night of sleeping in a room with glow in the dark stars glued to the ceiling. It seems that she hoped to escape that when she moved to Will's old room. No luck. Both Will and Susan covered the ceiling with stars when they were in high school. Will's are arranged in proper constellations, even.
MAY THE SPIRIT OF FATHER TIME AND THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS BE WITH US ALL YEAR.
Wanda, I am sorry that Ms. Gee Gee had a spell of confusion but so grateful that angel Margy was sent to help.
Speaking of Margy, glad you are able to get to a real bed for some real sleep and the night was quiet and that some folks were willing to help others in need.
Dana, a difficult day but please feel the love of your Ed, God, and all your eagle family.
Thema and Sharon, please be careful on your return to Bedford.
Happy Birthday to Ceil's husband and Andrea's daughter.
Ceil, please say Merry Christmas to Mary Margaret.
Merry Christmas to Steve Chase, Jo, Movin' Jim, Glo and Dex, Shirley, Paula, Megan, Andy, Bob, and all others joining in today.
Lolly, hope everyone enjoys the rare and wonderful white Christmas.
Am going back to bed to read the paper and enjoy some coffee. Then I will bake some mac & cheese for the cops and dispatchers buffet. Our dinner it will be cornish hens with sage butter, wild rice, asparagus, and fresh cranberry sauce.
Merry Christmas, Judie and Darth. So nice to hear from you this morning.
It is lovely to look out the window at the snow without having to venture out into it.
Oh dear, not enough time in the microwave for the frozen sausage sandwich, and I followed the directions. Must go zap it a bit. Yes, I'm taking a shortcut this morning.
Merry Christmas right back to you, Judie AND new Dadster Darth aka Frank!!! Your dinner sounds perfect! And so nice that you treat the troops! Communty does that at SIL's station, too, but he's off this year, so will mine instead!!!

Time to get with baking.
BBL!
Eagle. Is that Lib?
repeat LOL I am loving our Christmas Eve visit. :-)
Here's an update on the NJ juvie eagle that was rescued the other day.
She has lead poisoning.
NJ eagle update
I wonder if NCTC disallows lead shot?
I think Lib is asleep:)
Nope, he is NOT asleep, he is GONE!

Sunny here. Snowy and icy other places. White Christmas in many placces. Glad I do not have to travel.
Would like to hear from Judie.
Hope so, Geula. That message is annoying.

Good afternoon, everyone.
Hi Judie, so good to hear from you. We have been waiting. I know that just being home and with your busband is enough for this Christmas.
Bless you. Take good care of yourself.
Judie that is not too much TMI...sounds like great news....glad leg is healing! Get it up!
Catch ya'll later!
Certainly not TMI, Judie.
Good news, Judie! Hope the discomfort is bearable.
Busy baking and wrapping here. Have a great Christmas eve everybody!
Robe problem solved, but Hunter did not get to see Santa. Kathryn said they gave up after standing in line for 2 hours. They will e-mail Santa this year.
When my children arrive, they will need to move a few boxes, etc., and maybe make a run to the store. I am running out of energy.
Things too big or heavy for me are shoved under a table or out of the way. Someone else will move them.
Hope you have just enough snow to make it look Christmasy without hampering travel, Lolly.
Someone is plowing on the street behind me, but I think it's not an official plow.
Yes, want enough snow to cover the ground. Laurel and Joey are traveling here tomorrow...an hour. Do not want them to have bad roads.
Well, Glo, I accept that sweet slober kiss happily! Merry Christmas to you and Dex!
Slobber kisses are always welcome. You haven't had a slobber kiss until you've been kissed by a basset hound.
Called Rus and asked him to bring a veggie tray for tonight. He is still Christmas shopping. I'm not surprised. We will eventually get together, but it will be awhile.
Good Merry Christmas Eve Afternoon to all.
First order of business was to check on Judie... Judie, this sounds, okay, know you are in discomfort, but it is GOOD to know that the healing process is working:
Pain can be a GOOD sign of healing.
xoxo
The day's messages are on here are beautiful.
Happy to hear of the Family and Friend Gatherings.
Lovely to see Geula on here, and what an Avatar!
Stunning Message from Glo and Dex.
Yes, I'll take sweet slobbery kisses, anytime !
Now, how about Sissy's furnace?
Bananas? I had four have to be eaten today, just cut them up and put half and half on them, for tonight's meal, part of it anyway
xox
And yay, Eagle visits for a lot of our Momsters and Dadsters today!
Santa on Choo Choo picture is in Fun and Dandy link, and couple of others.
Watching the Weather channel, I see a lot of folks are in a tough spot....I know we are pretty down about our local forecast hereabouts....I guess there is some comfort in knowing, it could be worse. God Bless all those struggling with the elements.
I had a beautiful Mockingbird in tree outside apartment yesterday, in fact, James discovered it. That's also on the Fun and Dandy link.
Lynn I'm sorry you cannot get to that 11 pm service....maybe the track will change and can slip through a safe weather window.
I have my New Old Hair Dryer packed in the car in case I need it in the morning ! And the extension cord ☺
I think my internet is about to crash again!
So before that happens, Precious Pals,
Thank you all so much for your friendship, a true Christmas Blessing each and every day of my life.
Best wishes to all, for Peace and Joy, Comfort and Strength, Wellness, Love, and Faith.
God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
I slept like a log today, a Yule Log ☺
And a late Thank you and Merry Christmas to Steve, and all the NCTC Staff. Thank you for all you do! xo ♥
Paula, thank you for the NJ Eagle update, that was a lovely article, hope the Eagle makes it
I'm headed to get me and the dog some dinner.
Might be some very nice emails in your mail boxs.
Hi Dana, good to see you on here.
I'm still here but getting ready to shake a leg and finish up here before work, Shirley . Love to George !
and
Hi Dana,
as you "talk to Ed" you be sure to let him know we love you both !
Take care,
With Love,
Margy xoxo
MARGY, be careful when you come home in the morning! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!
Beautiful e-card, Dana.
Yes, be careful, Margy and Merry Christmas to you!
Yes, Margy, take care out there.
Thanks folks... have pillow and sleeping bag in car in case I decide to sleep on the floor at work before heading home.
You all be careful too !!!
If you see Belle and Liberty this evening, tell them Merry Christmas for me !!
xoxox
Will do, Margy.
Eagle in the nest!
Yes there sure is!
Both!
Shucks. Missed them.
I took two pics but will take me a while to post them. Icing cookies and making dinner, just got the cinnamon rols in the fridge for tomorrow.
Might make some cookies in a little while.
Nuts, realized it was getting dark & I may have missed our birds!
Wrapped the few leftovers & gonna start the oyster stew now.
BBL
Silent Night, Holy Night....
Time to load up car and head on out.
I see you had a visit!
Shirley, outstanding picture on your avatar...I see that Gold Card!
Gosh, I will sure be thinking of you wonderful friends.
TTFN xo ♥
Bye for now, Margy.
Well, my baby boy is now heading up the road with Kelsey to her family's. I have had such a great week with him and am so grateful!
Haven't caught up on blog since I left you earlier, but am caught up on mail!
Margy is giving NWS forecast on
scanner.....not sounding very pleasant at all. :(
Shirley, in case you didn't know....Geula lives on a kibbutz in Israel, but is a native New Yorker, if I remember correctly!
Thanks, Lynn, I just found out today that she lives in Israel. That is interesting. We do have an international group here.
I posted two pics in the EM album of tonight's visit. Not real great shots, lines and spiderwebs on screen shot.
Nice that you get to listen to Margy, but not nice that she has to give such an ugly forecast.
So proud to know Margy! She is a wonder!!
(((Hugs))) to all!
Yuck!
I will pass on the reindeer dung, thank you, Lynn.
Were the gifts in the torn-open packages, Lynn, or were they missing? Maybe a silly question.
Pies are done. All left to do is put new votives in candles, and put the pine boughs around the creche.
Oh...guess I better eat, too!
Don't forget to eat, Lynn.
Loved the pic of Santa on the train! Margy in the right place at the right time!!
Shirley, gifts were still there....plus, just talked to sis and there was a box of cheese that she didn't send.
That is really strange, Lynn. I don't think I would eat the cheese.
Posted a few Christmas pictures on my blog. I wasn't sure how the one tree pic would post, so that's why there are two.
Nice tree and mantle, Shirley.....and Geo looks very comfy!
Nope, won't eat the cheese.
Time for Jeopardy!
I'm watching Jeopardy, too. Waiting for Rus and Rebecca to arrive.
About to sneak a couple of meatballs while I wait. Rus is not my punctual one.
Meatballs are good. George likes them, too.
Your story about the package reminded Will of something that happened to him once right after 9-11. Susan sent him a care package that included some laundry detergent. Will never got the package and Susan got a message that she could claim it if she wanted it. They figured that the liquid in the package spooked the postal officials.
I'm ready to take a nap. BBL.
Back later.
I'm happy to share my meatballs. I can just roll some right up the road to WV. Wait . . I think this has been done before!
Many people all over the country are sharing a white Christmas this year. We still have whiteness to share.
Maybe yo0u will have better luck rolling yours then I did! lol
The roads are maybe a little slick and they might roll really well!
Most of the cams I am checking on - even Okie Bird Feeder - have signs of snow or it is snowing now on ESPN.
I need to read back on your comments.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE TO ALL OF YOU!
Margy really is an angel♥
Tis the night before Christmas and early, I know.
Rest is needed in spite of St. Nicholas's glow.
I thank all the bloggers for warm loving support.
And the friendships we've forged through 'lectronic rapport.
I am turning my Christmas Eve light out but leaving the night light on for others who are sharing the evening with family and friends and for those who may need to be on the lookout for meatballs rolling along between VA and WV -- or WV and VA.
In love and friendship.
I have been able to do that all my life and now I can't:(
I'm praying that the Lord will guide me and direct me on the right path...I feel it is in His hands now.
Nite, Judie. Hope you sleep well tonight, now that you know your healing is on the horizon.
A quick hello and blessings.
Merry Christmas to all and happy birthday Jesus!!
Oh, Wanda, how scary for you. Our Margy is a very special angel! She sure senses when someone needs assistance. Praise the Lord. Poor GG.
Wow, Lolly, your first white Christmas--can appreciate your excitement. Liked Laurels' video----she sure looks like you!
LOL
Don't think Helen has been on today either...maybe I missed both of them!
Still hoping the bad weather holds out until we are all back home from our outings.
Bedtime for me.
GOOD NIGHT DEAR FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Just checking in real quick to tell all of you that we are so blessed to have you in our lives.
Hope all of my wonderful Eagle and Panda buds have a wonderful Christmas eve and Christmas morning. This is the one night of the year when the world really does feel at peace!!!
I love you all!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Merry Christmas Eve!!
Cbristmas is almost here...hope everyone has had a nice evening so far!
No precip here yet...
Lolly - the snow really adds something to the season!
Good Night All
Peace, Hope and Joy to All
Prayers for all
((hugs)) ♥ ♥ ♥
So glad that Margy stopped by to check on GG.
Good night all, and Merry Christmas!
Andy, I did not realize you had only been with this group since April. You sound like an old-timer here.
And I forgot to comment about your being a descendant of Charles Dickens. That is something to be proud of. Really nice.
See you later. Good night.
Wanda- glad Margy stopped in to visit with GG...your angel for sure.
got some pics posted on my blog...heading to bed,
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!
and Hugs to all ♥
Good Night, Shirley!
Oh, Shirley,
Yes, it's pretty nice to think of being related to Charles Dickens!
Good night all! Merry Christmas!
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
MERRY CHRISTMAS tO aLL

Merry Christmas Sharon, Megan and Sissy. Been up and already read the newspaper.
Good morning Dana! Merry Christmas. I know this is a tough one for you. Been thinking about you this morning. Many prayers and (((((((((HUGS))))))))) coming your way this Christmas morning!
Merry Christmas everyone.
Merry Christmas everyone, an eagle in nest.
Morning Mits and Glo! Merry Christmas!!! That sure is a beautiful eagle in our nest!!
We are having freezing rain pretty bad here right now! I pray it blows over fast. Sharon and Thelma have to go back to Bedford today.
That is Belle!!
Poof!!
Whoops, made the coffee and got the cinnamon rolls out to rise and fell back asleep.
Precip closing in on us now, looks like it may start as snow.
I am NOW GETTING ICE HERE.
Yep, just walked outside, it's ice pellets here too. 24°
Darn carolina wren stuck in the gh....man those birds are nosy.
Happy Birthday to Ceil and Jimmy's son Jimmy today !
xo ☺ ♥
Good Christmas Morning Mits, Glo and Dex.
Be careful out there. Prayers for safety for ALL.
Prayers that Wanda can soon be guided by our Lord for the decision for GG's confusion, safety and health.
Margy God does lead us to go places or do things that he wants done. You listened to his word and GG did need checked on. Thank you our "Special Lady Margy".
Merry Christmas!!
Good morning!
Happy birthday Jen and Jimmy.
Just having coffee and waking up. Everybody else here is still asleep. The others will not arrive for awhile. I still have a few things to wrap, and still more when Susan arrives with them.
Nice pictures, Paula.
I see that many in WV are getting ice now. Nothing so far here, but it is supposed to be rain.
Be careful out there, folks.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, ONE AND ALL!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESUS, DADSTER JIM AND ANDY'S DAUGHTER JEN!
Turkey is in the roaster.....starting to smell!!!!
Sausage is cooking for breakfast with Grams' Cinnamon Rolls!
Paula, loved your slide show! Nice-looking family!
Good morning, Dana, Margy, Paula, Megan, Sissy, Mits, Glo, Sharon, and anyone lurking this morning. God bless! --Expect Jim and Andy are asleep, or just waking up, maybe.
Enjoy your day.
Good morning, Lynn.
Off to get some breaksfast. I bought some sausage biscuits, and Rus has brought lox and bagels. He has been hanging out with some Jewish friends lately! I will try that later. It looks interesting.
I think Rus and Will probably sat up late.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!
Oh, by-the-way, Darth is here and wanting to say MERRY CHRISTMAS to the momsters and popsters in the blog family.
Cheers and Merry Christmas.
Darth
George is coveting my sausage sandwich, but i'm not sure he should have pork. Maybe just a tiny piece . . . George is very spoiled, but that is okay.
There are eagles in the nest!
