Tai is pestering Mei! I don't know how much of the new yard one can see from outside. I so hope that Lou can see it all !
I am doubtful that Vicky is going to have such a report about seeing ButaButa. The staff said not until late 2006 or early 2007 would she be introduced to the public. It reads that there is the cam and then live behind the scenes footage. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Vicky until I hear otherwise.

Tai was born in July 2005, was not introduced to the public til December 2005, and then you needed tickets for the next 7 or 8 months.
I hope Lou is watching Tai Shan nurse now.
Well, after an afternoon of trying to get on this blog, after work I restarted my computer and got right in. Not sure I like this Internet Explorer 7. It is not letting me get the picture at the Kent nest. It has something to do with the Java thingy! ARRGGHH!!

Tai enjoyed it sooo much, he is licking his paw.
Tai had been eating a carrot and Mei took it away from him, he found the apple under some bamboo and she tried to take it from him but, he would not let her and she went off in a huff.
Tian just climbed down from one of the outside trees.
Mei just made another attempt to steal Tai's food..boy is getting stonger..good for him!!
Now she is grabbing bamboo away from him..she is in a snit today.
They are actually showing you Tian eating bamboo, because Mei and Tai are resting in different dens.
Okay, I just uninstalled IE7 and it gave me IE6 back. Java is working again too! Yeah, held my breath cuz I was skeered!

I saw the eagles in Maine, but not on live video..remembered was having trouble with it on this puter before I left town..upgraded to Windows Media 11, by the time I got back Maine screen is dark for the night.
A lot of people just slow down there. I have probably been guilty of that a time or two myself! I live up a pretty steep hill. I have lived up on this hill for most of my life so we are used to it now. Had to walk it a time or 2 for sure!
I wish they had more cams in Bluefield.

Sharon I know what you mean. When we get snow it is just something we are use to. Of course, we are use to more than we've gotten in a long time.
When we lived in Georgia for awhile. My daughter and I were in a store shopping and they announced the store would be closing. We went up and ask why. They said, "there are some snow flakes coming down". To use that seem strange but they don't get snow often.

Hi Glo It has been so windy here all day. It's staying down around 40°. NY gals did have 4" a few days ago - it melted by the next day but now they are to get more. October is just a bit early for them.
Well It has gotten UP to 36 where I live. Also very cold today, not as windy as thew weekend though. Yep I'm cold. We too have seen those snow flurries / showers already a couple of times this month...pretty early for it to happen, barely any sticking htough, althought he first time it did stick to some beautiuflly colored leaves inthe trees, which in itself is strangely different!
My cams of the zoo are fine..Tai is on cam #2 and Mei is on Cam #1 Both are sleeping in different dens right now, but, he is in his favorite spot.

OK Both my Panda cam 1 & cam 2 are working... Mei just patted Tai on his head - too funny. Last night Tai just wanted to sleep - but Mei kept trying to awaken him. She was the one pestering him for a change.

Hi, Jo, really a nasty day today, my cheeks are really wind burned. Thanks, yes, my daughter does have beautiful hair, lot of work to care for, as she gets older she will appreciate it more. I would kill for those curls, and she says, I wish my hair was straighter. I tell her, women pay big bucks at the salon for curls like that!
Well, thanks, Glo, I am working hard trying to get by, as many people do. I am fortunate enough to mainly work for myself and do somethning I enjoy very much, growing plants and flowers, and contributing beauty to people's daily lives. Life is hard, the little joys get us through.And, oh, don't worry, I will have lots of great plants to choose from.

Belle, Maggie is fine..still only 7 lbs 9ozs...she's a tiny one. I forgot to get a stash of Baltimore Berger Cookies before I left OC. Cleaned out the refig and freezer..nothing..there was an old Weight Watchers ice cream cone..didn't interest me. Maybe some hot chocolate with whipped cream?

I was just watching the jeffersoncam. People really don't ever stop at that stop sign unless there is a car coming down the hill. I will have to pay attention to what I do next time I am there.
